Search - "workout"
In the middle of my workout and all I can focus on is this treadmill display's terrible UI... Looks like a zoom button but actually increases the speed.
You know you're a front-end dev when...16
One of my colleague took 3 week vacation leave. End of vacation time he requested for extending the leave. Company is not allowed him, so he send resignation email. After 1year we get to know in vacation time he already joined new company. I asked him why, he said "That three weeks is trials. If nothing workout he planned to going back to old company." 🤨4
You know what? I'm gonna rant about it because it's 2AM, I can't sleep from anger, and the pain from the workout wasn't enough to keep my head straight. I don't care if you read this. I just need to let it out.
You're a fucking dick. You have the biggest ego I've ever seen and what you did today had me holding back tears from rage and trying hard not to punch you in the neck. I don't see why that sort of shit is necessary when working with somebody.
Your team "borrowed" me. That wasn't my project, the client requested me to be there. Your first reaction when you thought the task was just a small change is "I don't think you can do it." It turns out, it was bigger than that, so why don't you volunteer doing it now? It turns out, you only worked on small tasks.
It's your project, you've been there for years. I was instructed to ask you how to set it up because you're supposed to know where things are. It's not like I'm asking you anything that can be resolved through logic or Google. All my questions are project-specific - which repository, how are you testing this, how can I set this up for this version you're using and the clusterfuck of microservices dumped into one place with 12 YAML files, etc. If you had a README file, I'll gladly read it. To be fair, you do but it's fucking empty.
I tried to set it up directly in cloud shell (Linux). I get errors about packages that aren't there, I resolve them one by one. Then finally, I'm stuck on the SDK. Your project uses an old version (when the new one has been around for 10 years) and you're setting a bunch of parameters from different configuration files that isn't part of the standard deploy so I ask you about it and your response is:
"What shell? The one on the internet? SDK? You don't need an SDK! I hate to bust your ego but you don't need an SDK. I don't know why you're doing that. If you just ran it on your local machine, it would work without additional setup."
Wow. Amazing response to a question. As if I did some hacky stuff and your assumption is I'm making things more complicated. It's almost like you didn't overreact. So I stayed calm and said, "Okay, I'll install your IDE on Windows and run it there." A few minutes later, same SDK error. Oh, I thought this is supposed to work locally without doing anything? It turns out, you made a lot of hacky dacky setup on your workstation and you forgot about it but hey, I have the huge ego. What do I know? My head is so heavy, I can barely see.
Realizing how wrong you were with your previous reaction, you attempted to initiate smalltalk. "So you use Linux in your previous project? Amazing." Fuck you, man. Fuck you and your dog smile. I'll keep it professional but I'll be asking the developers in the client side moving forward. You wasted so much time of my life and irritated the veins in my temples.
Finally, you say "Install the SDK" and in an attempt to shake your memory, I say "So you need an SDK" but of course, you have to look smart and say "Of course you need it, that's the SDK!"
When it started working, it turns out, you can only run the unit tests and you suggested I develop all of these with just unit tests. 30 minutes before the shift ends, you admit that you never got it to work. Wow, what a waste of time. Ego, huh?
Your boss, the client, your fellow developers interviewed me and I passed all of them (technical exams, live coding, theoretical bullshit, etc.) including the exam YOU created. My first week in the office, you didn't talk to me even when the manager asked you to. The first time you talked to me, all you did was brag about how you taught everyone in the project, how you're the only senior there, talked trash about the managers, said everyone else is too lazy to learn by themselves, and threw it to my face that I wouldn't have gotten the job if you interviewed me. I've been there for like what? One week? I don't even have access to any of your shit. I wasn't even in the same project as you are.
I gave you the benefit of the doubt, maybe that's just how you talk, maybe I can learn something from you. I get it, man. The people around you are "lazy" and "stupid" and you taught all of them. Your ego must have inflated from all those people completely dependent on you so you assumed that everyone else is the same.
I've taught people myself but I've never treated anyone like that. I don't walk around the halls like they owe me their lives. I don't blow up on them and then humiliate myself because it turns out I'm terribly wrong.
I don't know what to make of this. It's either you're underestimating me or you've seen my previous projects and assumed I have a huge ego that needs to be broken down. I asked nicely but wow, what the fuck kind of reaction is that? I guess you busted your own ego.
Damn, fuck you. Three months of this shit and I lost my patience.11
How to get six pack Abs (Developer Version):
1. Do 20 bicycle crunches whenever your test fails.
2. 30 seconds plank whenever there's a issue assigned to you for your code.
3. 50 mountain climbers whenever the code breaks while you are giving a demo to client/boss.
4. 12 jack-knife sit-ups whenever you miss your deadline for more than 2 weeks.11
Mind your posture fellow devs!
Time for some neck stretches, left right left right you know the drill.
Stretch yours arms and rotate your wrists, don't want that carpall to get you.
Stand up a bit and stretch your back/legs, you'll have plenty of sitting hours ahead!
Give those stiff shoulders a bit of a twist, they deserve it.
Stay safe and healthy, your body will appreciate it!
Edit; if anyone else has some good suggestions for small health/workout practises please share them in the comments!5
Allright, I'm pissed.

-- Background --
In an attempt to reorganize my desktop I accidentally deleted a folder I called "development". In there I stored links to all my IDEs (Not sure how you call these in english), but also some workspaces like unity (Not much stuff there, processing (just some hobby stuff) AND Eclipse (FUCKING EVERYTHING RELATED TO SCHOOL WEB DEVELOPMENT). Now 3 days have passed and I realized this important folder was missing. Cleared that windows trash the instant I deleted the trash on my desktop.
> Shit, Regret
Install a file restore programm. Do every possible search. Nothing found.
> Big shit
Deadline was in like 3 days. Week was fucking rough so:
> "Screw this, the teacher nevet corrects the assignments and also fuck JSP"
Fast forward 2 months to last week. Teacher starts checking assignments.
* Sees pattern: Only students with missing or bad marks are checked. *
* Feels save *
Teacher approaching me while working on current projects.
* Doesn't feel save anymore *
> "Well, I'ld like to see your THAT programm"
> Well fuck
* Tells the truth *
> "Well that's unfortunate, but I must write a mark. Do you really have nothing to show?"
* Remember that I worked on the school pcs when I started *
> (Better than nothing. Gotta try it)
* Teacher checks programm, not pleased *
> (Fuck me, but at least it's over...)
* Teacher calls me over *
> "With the mark I had to write today you can't reach that good mark even with a good examination, what are we gonna do about this?"
> "Well, there were other assignments that were never checked. Could we replace that mark with one of those?"
* Teacher agrees *
> (Srly bless this guy for that support)
My best choice was an Android app we had to develop during December in pairs. I did the front end (90% of the whole work) and my partner the backend (10 %). I also did 30 % of these 10 %, because I had to review the shit he wasn't able to debug himself.
> brainlogic.exe provided by windows vista
This distribution was partly my fault since I overestimated the work needed for the backend, but also the fault of that fucker. I mean, he didn't tell me the professor already provided 90 % of the backend...
Rest of the week was really busy (always 1 or 2 things to study for each day, workout and family stuff).
Yesterday (It's past 12 already) I arrived at ~9 pm in the dorm I could finally start reviewing my code.
Internet gets shut down at 10 pm.
* Opens project *
* Sees half a year old code *
* Fights urge to puke *
> (Alright I gotta do this. For the mark!)
* waits for gradle to index files *
* Remembers the fact that I haven't opened Android Studio in the last 2 months *
For those who don't develop with android studio: This is an equivalent to ~10k windows updates waiting to be installed
> (Well, gotta work with this kinda old version)
"gradle sync failed"
> ( Ok, just restart it. You're fine )
* Android Studio doesn't react anymore and/or renders *
* Waits 5 min *
* Restarts laptop *
* Android Studio is reacting again*
"gradle is synching"
9:45 pm: gradle is done and I can finally compile my app
* Sees App launched on phone *
* Almost pukes again *
> (This was the assigment for the UX chapter, so design doesn't matter)
UX is decent. Proceeds with testing stuff. Save paths work, but some bugs can be caused by going of it
* fixes as much as possible *
* Takes quick look at backend *
Date date = new Date (GregorianCalender.getInstance().getTimeInMillis());
C'mon, I asked you to be the backend. You got 90% of the methods already written by the teacher and had 2 months to write the interfaces to my Front end AND you come up with shits like that.
Note: this example is a minor example of brainlogic.exe
I did what I could to make improve my situation. Hopefully he doesn't discover the bugs. And If it's a backend bug then I could't care less, since that was not my job!
Wish me luck for today!9
My current boss' boss. Dude has my back, no questions asked. If I mess up, he backs me up to the customer and then teaches me the right way behind the scenes. Even stands up for me when i'm not around.
He's helped me change my lifestyle, too, connecting me with trainers and coaches who can help develop a workout plan around my one hand. He understands the value of work/life balance, but has no power to change our schedule, so he helps out however he can around that.
He is honestly #bossgoals. I want to be like him when i'm a boss2
best friend works at a gym, and he always remind me to exercise.
him: bro when was the last time you workout?
me: every fucking day.
me: I am a programmer bro, everyday is brain day.1
I hate this work from home shit with your family around. "You're always in front of the computer, go workout, go socialize, its family time"
What part of "work from home" you don't understand. SMH!9
Trying to get into better shape, for every bug I find I do 20 pushups or situps.
30 mins into debugging and i'm exhausted.2
My productivity hack? Exercise.
It's amazing what a good workout can do after a long day of work. The stress just melts away and i sleep like a baby!! Ready to rock and roll the next day. 😎4
Non-dev cringe. How diversity hires look like (gym presentation).
It was crowded in the evening. I've been training for an hour and on my last set of bench press. I'm exhausted and my arms are starting to shake. My coach knows this so he's holding the dumbbell by the ends while I still try to push and pull, just in case my arms give up.
In the middle of our training, this woman walked in and just started disrupting people's workout by constantly asking for help, permission, and just small talking guys while they are lifting weights. Now I don't know what kind of porn she's into but she's doing one of those gym porn scenes where the girl acts really dumb, flirts, and fake laughs. All sexy in porn but I now realize, boi it looks painful in real life.
Keep in mind, this is not a membership gym and this is my personal trainer. He's generally a nice guy and I have no problem with him helping others out during our sessions but this girl would ask for help right in the middle of something instead of waiting for our breaks and at some point, my coach stopped smiling because the girl has been treating him like an assistant and you know that thing that women do when they want to abuse you? The giggles and shit. But it looked awkward because he's married, uninterested, busy, and the girl doesn't even do anything, she just "hangs out".
She then moves on to this other guy who's in the middle of lifting weights and asks for permission if she can work out beside him. She giggles, the guy doesn't and he just stares straight into the mirror in front of him checking if he has the right form. She faces the mirror, does a few squats, thanks the guy for god knows what, and then walks out of the gym. This was during my cool down and they were right beside me so I can see/hear them.
I don't know what was on her mind. Maybe she's ovulating or some shit like that but it's very hard to focus when someone tries to talk to you while you're in the middle of something. Even the horniest guy at the gym would find you annoying if you can't wait for them to finish a set before asking for shit.17
Which type of dev are you?
1. I exercise/ workout regularly :)
2. I want to. But I ain't got no time for that :|
3. I don't believe in that shit :(
PS: I see some sw engineers in my gym.55
Soooo it's Monday........ 🤯
@C0D4 started the day fixing current projects defects (4 tickets smashed before coffee 💪)
Then after coffee, run a test coverage report and see a significant decline over the past few months, so spends a couple hours adding more tests to get some areas filled in - meh, nothing like 50+ lines per test... to test a if() statement but whatever - complex scenarios will be complex to get too, but no my tests break and I'm missing data I didn't know about🤦♂️
So let's comment all that out, and go to lunch ... mmmm lunch.
Get back, start working on those again, and then get handed a new issue, so comment that all back out again, ( ok I know what you're thinking, but I'm working in an environment that does not use git for deployments - don't ask, real pain in the ass I haven't had time to invest into yet - but as code versioning only) anywho, starts to workout this new issue but don't figure it out, enter a 30 minute meeting.................. yea that was 2 hours later but was a very practical whiteboard session only to work out I have something like 16-20 weeks of work over 4-5 projects to get out in like 6 weeks... hahahahahahaha fml..... oh and that's excluding another project which had a 6 weeks of work in the pipeline to get to somehow.... I'm not seeing this one happening, and probably conflicting projects needed on top of that down the track... but we'll leave those out for now!
Whoot is fucking home time!!!
🤷♂️I'm starting to think I'm like a team of 5-10 devs right now, maybe I should start asking for 5-10x more 😏
my 17.3 inch screen laptop is so heavy that i sometimes use it for weight lifting biceps and triceps as a home workout2
I hate some parts of this company.
They literally have a "Designer" which made a mockup for our new UI and honestly when I first saw it I almost threw up.
Having made a lot of designs myself for personal projects and for fun I LITERALLY SAW he barely put any effort into it he just threw some stuff together took a shit on it and called it a UI.
For that interview we were actually expecting wireframes and not mockups since we were not sure what workflow we wanted for the UI.
Of course this would have come with feedback from us and then would have been reiterated and this was clear from our last talk with him.
Maybe he didn't know what wireframes were ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
If this wasn't enough, he was also consistently misspelling words all over the place, not aligning parts of the UI, misplacing common UI elements and stupid stuff like having a GIGANTIC + button for adding a object to a list for a NO TOUCH SCREEN UI.
(The plus button was all the way to the bottom left of the screen as far away from the list so users get a good hand workout).
But everyone just loved it because "We have known him for a long time and he has a big portfolio so he must know what he's doing".
I couldn't bring in anything, you truly notice the difference between "I don't agree with your opinion but you are heard" and "Shutup my buddy the designer is amazing".
I was not being an asshole I was giving critique on specific parts of the UI and not just saying "it's shit" hoping we could improve on it. Still having naive hope for the future of this project.
He even looked kinda mad and irritated by my opinion and just looked at the people previously mentioned.
I truly hate people who just keep using the exact same worthless piece of garbage people because they have known them for a long time.
Personally I wanted to grab him off his chair and throw him out through the window, 2 floors down, straight into the garbage bin, making damn sure he doesn't accidentally fall into the recycle bin.
Never ever would I enjoy or like this application's UI if I had to work with it as a user.3
Has anyone installed Elasticsearch on Linux - centos to be specific.
Trying to workout why the fucker won't install. Setting up a proof of concept so don't want to use it currently as SaaS.
From why I can tell, it only needs Java, (check) and to be ran as a user other then root (check) but running ./bin/Elasticsearch hangs after a while and starts powering up 100 odd threads with no progress.6
How I solve complex problem during development.
1. I left my machine with all the thinking and start to think of another activity.
2. Start another activity I like specially a physical one like playing a game, jogging or just walking.
3. Then after I am fully involved with this activity I start to think of different scenarios of the problem I was trying to solve.
4. Eventually, different solutions came to my mind and I evaluate them one by one with respect to my problem.
5. I finalize a couple of solutions based on the evaluations.
6. Rush to my machine and start implementation to see if it work.
PS: During all these thinking I will be terrible at the activity I am doing.
Loop again if It didn't workout.3
It finally comes! <enki/>'s invitation code for "the 5-minute daily workout to level up your dev skills" they said.6
When you take pre workout and are getting ready to workout but you have a few min before you have to leave so you look at your current project and end up rewriting most of the program and never making it to the gym... Thanks pre workout...4
This is easy. Irl fork and acquire commands to let me reposess the knowledge of my children.
Things i can do while playing games:
5: travel the world
6: troll my ex
7: read every post on DevRant1
I want to lose some weight and tone some dormant muscles. So I decided that I'll do some pushups and crunches every time I run into a bug with which I'm struggling. Seeing as I write more bugs than stable code, I should be ripped in no time.2
In my first place there was a guy, we'll call him S.
So S. was not very popular, he had an intimidating look all the time, wore workout dryfit clothes and seldomly smelt like he didn't take a shower in quite a long time. He has an iOS developer on my team. He was blazingly smart and called every code he saw garbage. Nice guy indeed :)
He was a fine guy after you got to know him and get accustomed to his weirdness... Smelly nonetheless :)2
New trend on Instagram: girl post workout photos with macbook that has code editor. Offend to girls but this kind of post cant get likes if its a male coder haha.5
I've been offline from devrant for a while now but damn, I need to vent this shit
One of my colleagues can't describe tickets well enough, so I often have to speak to my colleague about it what he/she ments with their description (usually the ticket description is one line… that's all)
But yesterday the ticket was quite ok, I got were he/she was going for
Conveniently my colleague walked by at the end of yesterday and asked me how it was going
I responded quite energetic 'quite well, ticket is almost done'
And when I showed my colleague the result he/she said, well I got some feedback this morning, and we need to move X to Y with Z data
But you don't get the full story, this project exists of a very old abandoned framework (2013). Hacked together to work for more than one customer (but still copied over to run standalone) with the last year of development being focused on fast results (no time given to workout bugs or refactoring for cleaner/readable code)
So now I have to (on a feature that already took me 3 days to build) remove roughly 25% of the code and hacks, and hack a solution together..
This shit is demotivating as fuck...3
I DIDN'T SIGN UP FOR THIS !!!
After seeing bunch of posts about Enki, decided to give it a try,

*Receives first mail from enki ever, with a reset link*
Did they change their name from something else to Enki or they have bunch of emails in their database to showoff user base ?
Can anyone shed some light on this, cause I'm 100% sure i didn't sign up for this before.
after resetting the password I'm able to login, but in the Notification section it says

well i would confirm it, WHEN I GET IT !!9
According to many of the rant posts, I am not a programmer.
I wake up 8 in the morning, eat breakfast at home and then get to the office at 9. Work till noon and then enough 1 hour lunch, back from lunch work till like 6-7 pm, have dinner at office then head to the gym workout for an hour to an hour and half and then head home, shower and sleep at 11:59 pm.7
My Beats In-ear earphones just died, after 3 years of pretty frequent use. The cable is broken and one side is dead and the other side is flickering. Now I am looking for a replacement. And I hope that someone here can suggest me something that fits my needs :s
First question would be wireless or cable. I am not to sure yet, I think I'd prefer cable because I don"t need to charge them and the possibility of loosing them is not as big. However I am open to wireless earphones as well, since they are pretty good to listen to music during workout.
I want my earphones to have deep bass and clear highs.
One of the most important aspects is durability. If its a cable earphone, I would prefer something with strong durable cables, nothing flimsy that breaks again in a short time.
Oh yeah and the price shouldn"t break the bank, I am thinking about something <100 euros.
What would you guys recommend me?42
Are you planning on entering politics?
Because your documentation is dishonest, doesn't mention side effects and is not meant to be read humans workout a law degree.
Your code on the other hand makes me question whether you try to troll us or whether you are actually unable to understand what you were supposed to do.
Our boss has organized a personal trainer so he makes workouts with us every Thursday in the working place. Then you realize how much you are sitting in front of the computer. Just awesome.2
I feel no energy

i feel so.... empty....void.... null...... Soulless.... dont know how to describe
if something bad were to happen again or if someone were to die, i wouldnt have the energy to cry even if i wanted to, that is how low i feel these days can u even imagine that....
2h of sleep for the past 3 days
no energy to even workout because i feel like im about to faint if i do
all thats left is little piece of motivation inside me for whatever reason still alive and it keeps me moving6
What are your new years resolutionsfor next year devranters?
-continue workout to get more fit
-succed with my projects
-travel atleast one time this year outside home country8
Time to pump some iron. I'm getting fat and will do some cardio with complete body workout later. No excuses. Developers need to take care of their health and be fit! Let's do this guy's
💪😎👍 also eat some healthy diet and take lots of sleep. Your loved ones need you to be healthy.5
Hey this is my first post on This new fitness-tracker-app community
I will tell y'all my workout :)
-programming a parser
FUCKING HELL PLEASE STOP ALREADY THIS IS THE WORST SHIT IVE EVER DONE EVERY WHERE IF STATEMENTS JUST TO CONSUME FOUR FUCKING TOKENS I DONT WANT TO DIE BUT I'D LIKE THIS PROJECT TO BE FINISHED ALREADY BECAUSE THIS IS ANNOYING AS FUCK I REALLY WANT TO KICK MY COMPUTER WHILE TELLING IT TO BE THE MOST STUPID BRAIN ON THE WORD AND THEN REMEMBERING THAT ITS NOT A BRAIN FUCK MY FUCKING FUCK HELL THEN I WOULD KILL THE PEOPLE WHO THOUGHT THAT MAKEING std::vector::end() RETURN AN ITERATOR WITHOUT ELEMENT WAS FINE AND THEN I'D KILL ALL THOSE WHO COME INTO MY ROOM THUS DISTURBING MY WORKFLOW
Me after a colleague screwed me over at work, wasted my entire day, insulted me, and tried to make smalltalk to appease his guilt and shame after he realized he was in the wrong:
"Fuck this guy. Fuck that guy. Fucking fuck. You're all shit. Fuck all of you. I want to die."
Me, two hours later, after a workout and mood is lifted:
"Hmmm.. I'll fuck this guy, that guy, that woman over there, this chick over here. That black dude, that white dude, that Asian chick, that whatever that is. I'd fuck them all and we'll live fuckily ever after."
- Continue learning Node.js, Express, MongoDB (I just need to learn mongoose now, then I can start making bigger projects).
- Learn PHP and start making freelance work;
- Continue getting good grades at uni;
- Workout more often (like 4 times per week);
- MAKE MONEY!!!
Edit: Happy 2018!!!
!Rant (but for those few who keep on giving me upvotes)
First workout done today. How did it go? Really well. In fact, it went so well that I couldn't open the repurposed fire door (thick, heavy metal).
I don't have to get in to the zone as I'm in the zone all the time. I sleep and dream code, eat code, actually write code, workout code...3
Now hear me out. I know this doesn't sound geeky but my pedantic nature makes it.
Comparing the numbers of your lifts. Charting them out. Making your own workout schedules with targeting every muscle and it's parts.
It's fun and rewarding.1
Does anyone else struggle with I-want-this-to-work syndrome where you try to make something work that’s really specific and random but that you want to do and you spend way too long trying to get the tiniest bits to wrk and end up abandoning it after hours of wasted time?
Examples from me: trying to get an Ethernet cord to act like an AUX cord but using networking protocols so I can use my fucking sonos as, you know, a proper fucking computer speaker for fucking pc sounds instead of just streaming.
Trying to hook up a piece of exercise equipment to their own software that displays cool stuff except their software is only for windows and you only use/want to use Linux and you have to deal with HID devices through WINE and are ultimately just procrastinating your workout
Anyone got similar stories or tips?2
Crated a small program that would make life with an external hard drive easier.
Part of it includes copying music. Since I didn't have the EHD on me I decided to test this part on my music folder.
After going though circles because of a directory not found folder, I decided that the problem was that I workout one 0 in the spelling of my user directory. Finally, I thought that it was fixed, I was all excited and then "access to directory denied (I'm paraphrasing)", this is my music folder we are discussing here... 😓😒
I feel so aLIVE
AFTER A HOME WORKOUT
I feel like i can walk my ass up on the street& hit up a bitch on the street like hey girl u dtf and she says yes and i flatout fckk her on the street raw aint none of yall nibbas tell me what i can do cause what i want to do turns into reality
Now i can finally code with so much peace and cleansed mind🙏🙏🙏🍆🍆💦💦💦💦💦3
I've been helping a friend of mine with his postgraduate project the last 3 months.
It was a Java based program made in Processing. Though I am not a Java developer and I never used processing before, it wasn't that hard to write the logic of the program.
I noticed that sometimes Java made me use loops for almost everything.
Also I had to communicate between server and client via JSON but I had to write it manually as string due to the lack of keys in Java.
The main trial though was with the logic of the project. It was supposed to be made as a framework to be extended from custom user classes. I had to change the core classes I made many times because the user class had methods that should run while the parent class didn't have them declared. That could be my fault for not knowing how to write desktop application framework but you can't expect a framework to be extended in a compiled state, or so I think. Processing on the other hand doesn't seem to like the idea of an external java library. At least it didn't workout for me, it should be able to work normally.
In the end the project was never as completed as we wanted. It could rum a basic sim but we hadn't the time to test other possibilities.
I feel the need for a personal AI is real. I mean at this stage of my life I feel replacing humans around/close to me with a strong AI.
The idea is kinda creation of a strong AI but control its learning ability limited to one user.
You have someone who understands you completely.
Knows what/how to talk no matter How's your mood.
Could be used to calm down the user even in critical situations.
Besides, if something doesn't workout just fucking tweak the code its yours no matter what the fuck you do with it.
Do I make sense??3
I was wondering how many of you work out. I have met many of developers but so far very few of them actually work out. And yes I know how hard is to connect full time job and health life :D so how it is in your case?15
Finally finished my macOS+iOS project.
Mac app which play your YouTube playlist while displaying changeable image next to the player with the workout you are doing. It has features like:
-saving workout details in calendar
-download the currently playing video
-remove song from current playlist and add it to playlist with Old songs
-save the remaining songs of the playlist shuffled to new playlist to listen to them from your phone while you take a bath after the workout for example
-the app detects three playlists based on the description:
*”music” in description for Music playlist
*”newest old” in description for Old songs playlist
*”rest songs” in description for rest songs playlist(the songs you didn’t listened to from music playlist, this playlist is auto generated on exit if you want)
-the app can play any playlist or video from YouTube sent by the iOS app over tcp and add a song to your Music playlist if you liked it.
The iOS app features:
-gesture control for the main app over TCP
-chart for the weekly calorie burn retrieved from calendar.
