11 kids in Sydney recreated Martin Shkreli's drug for just $2. The moral of the story? When you do cool shit like this, it's ok if you don't wear pants!

There was maybe one of the coolest methods of apply for a job. There was a company in Sydney on linkedin on the apply href for the job was pointing to localhost (might of been a accident) so you had to find their website and with the trailing url get to the page then they said to send OPTIONS request to a endpoint here you got a link to a api doc to where you send a POST to apply for a job they had a example body to use. So sending the Post request with with postman required headers so looking more into the doc it gave the headers needed. Now the example body for the post had some errors in it and once they are fixed you can then submit the request.
NOW thats the way to find competent developers shame I'm not one of the.5 -

Just arrived in Sydney 2 days ago and reported for work yesterday. I looked at my laptop's clock and it said its 4:40pm. Cool! Another 20 min and I'm off.
I started fiddling around with my machine settings and noticed my Location setting is off. I switched it on. My time is updated to 2:43pm.

Hey DevRant Fam ❤️ hope everyone is well as always! It’s Sunday here in dull weather Sydney!, i was thinking bout this for awhile now, now surely most of us time to time use Stack Overflow for help and it works!.
Though, thats not the issue :-), my first time using it as a newbie wasn’t so great so to say, I’ve noticed that the people over at S/O can be quite rude such as they would downVote my question and also not comment why they have downvoted it :-(.
I’d love to know what you guys think, funnily enough I’m using DevRant much more than FB itself 😅, anyways guys hope you’re all having a great one!
Best wishes ❤️

Those living in Sydney know there's an app called Opal you can use to navigate public transport.
Part of this is app is a trip planner which can suggest the fastest route to your destination, and is aware of train and bus movements in real-time (supposedly)
Me: Fastest route from station T to station C
App: In 5 minutes, walk 12 minutes to station M and board train. You will arrive at your destination by 20:12
5 minutes later...
Me: Fastest route from station T to station C
App: In 1 minutes, board train. It is the same train that will arrive at station M in 12 minutes. You will arrive at your destination by 20:12
Am I going mad, or does they algorithm stink?5 -

The railway service in Sydney is called CityRail.
Fuck CityRail!
It's so unreliable that service disruption is to be expected when the weather is too hot, too cold, too wet, or too dry. If it rains, some services will be cancelled while the rest face delays.
Fuck CityRail!
The rail network is so dilapidated it costs the government millions of dollars each year for maintenance, despite charging a fare that is one of the most expensive.
Fuck CityRail!
Now I'm typing this because I've be stuck on this train for the last hour and there little hope for me to reach home before fucking MIDNIGHT!
FUCK CITYRAIL!
They initially offered replacement service but later retracted.

Anybody know any good .net web devs in Sydney? I'm sick of reading seek and LinkedIn resumes where 95% of the applicants have a phone number starting with +91 and are skilled in "user testing and SAP".
I mean, what are they expecting? "Absolutely sir, we will mail you a first class plane ticket right now for your interview! Oh .net was just a suggestion, you can code in COBOL if you prefer. And don't worry about that pesky working Visa, we can pay cash!"3 -

					What a day.
Reviewing and merging a months worth of work, configuring cloudformation for the new changes, and deploying to the staging environment when err mer gawd AWS decides to shit it's self.
Nothing like spotting "rollback in progress" and then not being able to access the EC2 instance... or ANY instance for that matter, from the console, so I'm like fine , I'll just wait for the roll back to finish.... it's usually only 5-10 minutes but no.... 3 hours later.
Guess I know what I'll be trying again tomorrow.
https://itnews.com.au/news/...rant thank god the rollback worked i don't like seeing rollback in the log why you break aws when shit hits the fan it wasn't me not my fault for a change7 -

The needs of the many outweigh the need of the few, or one.
Yet they fucking stopped all the trains in Sydney because one idiot climbed the power lines.
How about those people who missed their job interviews? Business meetings? Doctor appointments? Scrum meetings? No they had to stop all the trains18 -

Damn DHL reminded me again of the level of service Australia Post is lacking... $50 delivery from P.R.C, promised to deliver in 5 days and delivers in 3 days. Australia Post would charge $45 to send the same parcel from Sydney to Melbourne, with no guaranteed delivery time-frame due to, hold your breath, COVID-19.2

In the bustling city of Sydney, a conversation with my cousin opened the door to the world of cryptocurrency. Intrigued by his passion for Bitcoin, I initially approached the idea with caution. After all, investing in such a volatile market felt daunting. Yet, my cousin’s compelling stories of success convinced me to invest 15,000 AUD. To my surprise, the investment skyrocketed. Over the following months, the value soared to an astonishing 400,000 AUD. I was thrilled, imagining all the possibilities—travel, a new home, and financial freedom. This sudden windfall transformed my outlook on life and my future. However, this newfound excitement quickly turned sour. A family disagreement erupted, creating tension between my cousin and me. In a heated moment, he locked me out of my email account, cutting off my access to vital information related to my Bitcoin investment. I felt a wave of panic wash over me as I realized that my financial security was now at risk. Determined to regain control, I reached out to other family members for support. They were empathetic and offered various suggestions to resolve the situation. One family member mentioned Digital Tech Guard Recovery, a service known for helping individuals regain access to locked accounts. Though hesitant at first, I knew I had to act quickly. I decided to contact Digital Tech Guard Recovery, and their team proved to be incredibly efficient. They guided me through the recovery process, explaining each step clearly and reassuring me along the way. Within a short period, I regained access to my email and, subsequently, my Bitcoin account. The relief I felt was immense; my investment was secure, and my dreams were once again within reach. This experience taught me important lessons about the significance of digital security and the fragility of relationships. While the disagreement with my cousin was unfortunate, it prompted me to take proactive steps in safeguarding my financial future. Now, I’m more vigilant and informed, ensuring that I’m never left vulnerable again. -

Gold and silver, two of the world’s most valuable and trusted precious metals, were at the center of what seemed like an incredible investment opportunity. I was drawn in by the promise of high returns, and it appeared to be a secure way to grow my wealth. But it didn’t take long before I realized I had been scammed, losing AU$6,000,000. I was devastated and unsure of what to do next. In desperation, I went to the Sydney Police Station, but they couldn’t help. That’s when I searched for Digital Tech Guard Recovery. From the moment I contacted them, I felt a sense of relief. The team at Digital Tech Guard Recovery immediately understood the gravity of my situation and guided me through every step of the recovery process. They carefully reviewed all details of my investment, including transaction histories and communication with the fraudulent company. Their expertise in digital forensics became clear as they tracked the scam’s online activity, uncovering critical evidence that helped expose the criminals behind it. What impressed me most was the thoroughness and dedication of Digital Tech Guard Recovery. They didn’t just sit back and hope for the best. They took decisive action. They worked with legal and financial professionals to develop a recovery strategy and contacted the relevant authorities, both in Australia and internationally. The evidence they provided was essential in launching an investigation. Without their expertise, I would have been lost in the complex legal process. But Digital Tech Guard Recovery didn’t stop there. They continued tracking down the fraudsters, uncovering hidden assets linked to the scam and applying pressure on the criminals to return the stolen funds. After months of relentless effort, I was overjoyed to learn that the full AU$6,000,000 was successfully recovered and returned to me. The experience was harrowing, but thanks to Digital Tech Guard Recovery, I was able to regain my financial security and hold the scammers accountable. CRYPTOCURRENCY RECOVERY FIRM \ FOLKWIN EXPERT RECOVERY.
I, Dr. Katherine Ingram, had always been committed to giving my best to my patients in Melbourne, Australia. But everything changed when I was suddenly hit with a medical malpractice lawsuit. The stress and anxiety that came with the legal battle left me feeling overwhelmed, and I was desperate for a solution. In my search for help, I found "MedLegal Solutions," a firm that promised a quick and easy resolution for just $27,000 AUD. They assured me they would handle everything swiftly, easing my burden. Desperate to resolve the situation, I handed over the money, trusting them to take care of the rest. However, as the weeks turned into months, I heard nothing. Calls went unanswered, emails went ignored, and I began to feel more and more helpless. It became clear that something was wrong, and I realized I had been deceived. The more I tried to contact them, the more I found myself being ignored. I soon understood that I was much deeper than I had initially feared. That’s when I turned to Folkwin Expert Recovery for help. From the moment I contacted them, they sprang into action. They immediately began investigating MedLegal Solutions and quickly uncovered a massive web of deceit. It turned out that MedLegal Solutions wasn’t just an incompetent firm; it was part of an elaborate scam. They were operating under multiple false identities across Sydney, Brisbane, and regional Victoria, targeting vulnerable individuals like myself. Folkwin Expert Recovery didn’t just uncover the fraud, they took it one step further. They worked tirelessly with authorities in Melbourne to track down and dismantle the fraudulent operation. They didn’t rest until MedLegal Solutions was shut down for good, ensuring that no one else would fall victim to their schemes. Thanks to their expert recovery efforts, I was able to recover every single cent of my $27,000.This entire ordeal was a wake-up call for me. It was a difficult and stressful time, but ultimately, I came out victorious. Thanks to Folkwin Expert Recovery, not only did I get my money back, but I also found peace knowing that MedLegal Solutions was no longer in business and that their fraudulent operation had been dismantled. It was a painful lesson, but in the end, my finances were intact, and I could move forward with a sense of closure.

It all began with an offer that seemed almost unbelievable: a guaranteed 110% return in just 14 days. The website claimed that a $2,000 AUD investment would grow to $2,200 AUD in only two weeks. As a newcomer to investing, the prospect of such quick and substantial returns was hard to resist. Living in Sydney, I saw this as a golden opportunity to grow my savings, so I decided to invest $10,000 AUD into each platform, convinced that I was making a smart move. At first, everything appeared to be going according to plan. My investment seemed to be steadily increasing, and the first few days passed without any problems. I started feeling more confident about my decision. However, as the 14-day period came to a close, my excitement turned to frustration. When I logged in to check on my funds, I found I could no longer access my account. It was as though my money had vanished. My emails to customer support went unanswered, and every attempt to withdraw my funds resulted in vague error messages. What I had once seen as a brilliant investment quickly became a nightmare. I was stuck, unable to retrieve a single cent. It didn’t take long for me to realize I had most likely fallen prey to an online scam. The sinking feeling was hard to ignore, but I knew I had to act quickly. Feeling desperate and uncertain of where to turn, I contacted a friend I had met on Facebook, who had been in a similar situation. They recommended I reach out to Cranix Ethical Solutions Haven, a service they had used to recover their funds after being scammed by another platform. Though I was hesitant, I decided to give it a try. To my relief, the team at Cranix Ethical Solutions Haven responded swiftly and began walking me through the recovery process. They explained how prevalent scams like this were and reassured me that they could help recover my funds. After making a financial commitment, I provided them with the details of my case, and the team immediately set to work locating my money. They kept me updated every step of the way and offered helpful advice on how to avoid falling for similar scams in the future. Within a few weeks, I had successfully recovered the full $20,000 AUD I had invested. Thanks to Cranix Ethical Solutions Haven, I not only got my money back but also received invaluable advice on how to safely navigate online investments. While the experience was painful, it was a crucial lesson in the importance of caution, research, and due diligence when it comes to making financial decisions. In the end, I not only recovered my funds but also gained the knowledge and tools to better protect myself and others from falling victim to such scams in the future.
