Managing an app in Canada, came back home to Thailand to visit my parents.

No deployments while you're gone, just bug fixes, boss said.

Landed at 3am, "hey I know we only support desktop but we got new customers only on iPad, make it responsive in a day and deploy." Wtf.

Haven't even seen my parents. In Starbucks.

Fuck inheritance.

Laptop battery went from 98% to 15% to 5% to 3% with 'no battery' occasionally in about 20 mins WHILE PLUGGED IN.
Worst part? I bought it in Thailand so even though it's in warranty, I cant get it repaired coz I'm in US.

In Malaysia for some reason Chinese and Indians are considered as outsider. Some Malays are considering themselves are native (actually the Orang Asli are the native). Many politicians attempt to even startled a racial fight against the non- Malays. My country is operated by a closed system. Most Dutch , US companies are leaving Malaysia due to the unfairness.

Before this I worked in a Dutch company in Malaysia , where lately the company declare bankruptcy as my respectable boss told me what happened. Later I learnt, in order for a foreigner to start a company in Malaysia , a transaction of transfering have of the company assets and name under an assigned Malay man by the government.

The racism here is real and crazy. It is no surprise most Malaysian migrating to Taiwan, China Singapore , Thailand and some western countries.

I hate racism. Recently I heard news about western countries still have the hatred against Asians which I abort the idea of migrating there. But in my country Asians are hating other kind of Asians before for being different Asian.

May be I should just get my arse back to Mongolia (where my ancestors will be )

when you plan to go on holiday to see the inlaws in thailand and you have to work - holiday office preped :)

This is !dev at all, buy I think many devs might share a similar way of thinking.

I just had a discussion with a friend. He told me that he donated 100.- to a poor family he met in Thailand and told me about how good he feels because of that.
I told him that I’ve been donating regularly for the last 8 years and that it’s not about how you feel but about the change you made.

We argued for a while and I realized that I’m using my past donations not only to convince him but to win the argument..

I used my deeds to my own benefit, so I’m no better than the TikTok Bitches showing their bodies for likes..

I’m deeply disappointed in myself.

Currently working on a huge real estate website. Design got approved yesterday, yesterday I finally got partial access to the clients real estate data. Where the data is uploaded to our server as zip files containing a xml file and files attached to it.
Deadline is tomorrow, but has been pushed back 2-3 weeks, which sucks as I probably have to work whilst on vacation

I can't tell if Fox is telling the truth or they are actually the biggest source of fake news and thinks everyone is too stupid to know

Today our king passed away.

I had to finish my big project before the 20th, but there was no mood for doing it at all; everything feels lifeless and dark. All Thai sites were applied a css grayscale filter to show respect for his loss.

I'm not a royalist, but it feels depressing when you thought about how you would wake up the next morning, knowing he isn't there anymore. It simply was the darkest times in my life.

I spent 2 days finding the truth while Thai officials were trying to hide, and now my worst fear came true.

He was the best king I've ever had. May him finally rest in peace, back to where he belongs to.
