So I'm returning from parental leave on next week...
One of the projects I'm involved in, was at 10% progress when I left, had planning and documentation made by me, development environment and test suite setup by me and had tests and was being reviewed.
Right now it should be arround 75% progress, no longer is being reviewed, planning is not being followed and no tests have been made since I've left...
Why bother with dumb ass devs!

Today while cleaning windows, came up to my mind how I miss when developers not only knew what is but also how to implement ajax requests properly....
Nowadays a framework with 10 composer packages will do the trick, and looks like black magic to juniors

Fine.. I'm fine with that. There was no time for that since there's was some very very very fucking important projects, tasks and side requests requested by administration for customers that are actually not real customers since they don't pay or have a contract yet (or ever will!)

Wondering how you guys are doing docker deployment (angular, php, whatever) on self hosted servers from a private gitlab instance ?
Also most recent gitlab release seems Very promisssing on this.
There's a lot info on deploying to aws or google but not on this case (at least clear)

every day I see full stack here and there...
full stack is not only db and code, but also "every step the bit goes through " from end user's screen/input to server and back to him
whether is an app or service, end user is only an example.

it's about knowing how the language behaves, how the server interprets and replies to requests, protocols, even how to do every single configuration on the systems you are using, and in my point of view that includes hardware.

pretty much that...

I get sic when I see on a resume claiming "I'm a full stack dev" and there's nothing on it saying that the guy knows at least to change a light bulb... lol
Even worse, when I see job offers asking for "Full stack Dev, with no experience" ...

that's not possible without experience ! sorry
