One day at a meeting I proposed a solution and explained it to everyone and everyone agreed to it. And then comes in this motherfucking Mr. shithole who starts talking about a piece of shit approach which had apparent drawbacks and everyone could see it but no one mentions. Why, becuase that bigger asshole is the boss of these smaller assholes. When I mention the drawbacks, all I get in return is, you are right but we think you should go this way. No fucking explanation why should I or any son of bitch should go that way. And every single one of those fuckers in the meeting suddenly became ok with his approach without any question or doubt. I mean WTF! What kind of developer you are if cant fucking express your views.

I have a bit strange personal rule - If I encounter something more than three times during 3hrs period, I certainly must learn as much as possible about it. Last night I've stumbled upon few listings in Go language.

So, starting this morning, decided to learn Go. So far, so good.

P.S. Is it just me or Go really does have strong C/C++ vibe (but is, indeed, higher level language)? Old guy like me, must like that.

I hate when people get Java and JavaScript confused. One is a language used for smaller projects by am mature programmers, and the other is a scripting language for the web.

Something that really bothers me about the oop idea of "oop allows better code reuse" is the fact that I have yet to encounter a situation where I need to reuse old code for a new project.

And the code I do want to reuse I've put into a library and made genetic anyway. Something which can easily be done with any language supporting generic programming, object oriented or otherwise.

If you are using a language that allows OOP and you're not coding to OOP standards... I hate you.
