Day 1

1) Starts a new project.
2) Can't connect windows machine to the new router.
3) Wastes one day connecting.

Day 2
1) Switched to Linux (dual boot).
2) Parrot OS sound issue, don't know why.
3) Fixed the issue, upgraded the system. No brain fucked.
4) Sets up Dev Environment, Starts the project.
5) All this in 4 hrs.

And he was serious not joking. Fking serious!

This piece of shit backend developer who our company fired sometimes back, cause he was spreading fake things about the company.
He was tasked to develop the admin panel for the websites we were working on..

Now, turns out, he had put multiple backdoors in his piece of shitty code.. He happened to designed the front end of the admin panel as well, which contained more than 3k js files..wtf!! And he did all that even after getting paid enough for that shitty code.
The projects where that shit was used are now under attack.. And my already hectic life has gotten even more hectic..
Fuck you dumb fuck.. You piece of shit developer...

I'm never gonna let him take another job.. I'll mail out official complaints and character reports, along with his history to each and every fucking company that he starts working in.. I'm gonna be his worst nightmare..I swear.

Looking at the number of JavaScript frameworks that are popping up these days..
a day will come, when human race will get extinct and only JS frameworks will survive like cockroaches..!!

There was this faculty who had a masters degree in big data, during my graduation.
She asked the whole class to install 'hadoop' on their machines as an assignment; in a situation where most of the class didn't even properly knew what Linux was.
I installed it and showed it to her.

She: Shreyans, can you help me install it on my system, I'm getting some errors.
Me: Sure ma'am.
She: On what Linux did you install it?
Me: Linux Mint ma'am.
She: But Mint's setup won't work for my Ubuntu. Do you have a setup for my Ubuntu?
Me: Whaaat!?
And I stood there frozen thinking what to reply..

Ok. Don't know if I'm super talented or not.. But my USB fits in, in a single try.

So the major project of one my classmates during the college was, an eye donation app.

I don't understand why would you make an app for that! I mean like, what?
Donate one eye today and the other one next week? Like what?
It's of no use. Why would you do that?!

How did I got into CS?

When I first got my laptop, I put on a password and forgot it. Nobody knew those things at that time around me (most of them, still don't) so I had to pay ₹350 (~$5) for formatting (OS reinstallation).
After a week, I again forgot the password and had no guts to ask more money from my family, because of the fear of getting scolded.

So, I took out the manuals that had shipped with the laptop, read them all. Found nothing.
But, on a very small page, a single line was written, "Insert the disc. Press F12 after pressing the power button".
I intuitively tried it and it worked (I had the OS DVD and no internet).

And I spent the next year experimenting with the windows OS (Vista).
Then tried all the other OSs.

Those were some times..2008..I guess.
Learnt OS without the internet. Nowadays people can't do it even with it.

Is it safe to stay with PHP or do you think js (in backend) is the future?

I was helping a colleague dual booting Linux Mint with Win10.
Asked her to restart Win10; she didn't know how to.
Now, I've no idea how much more user friendly can Microsoft make it, and how much more dumb people can be.
