Because all the stock Android versions do not have a "DARK MODE".

If they were human developer's they would have included it.

Feature+bug
I think it would be better for the development of of the app to include a feedback/bug option.
Bug-> I changed my password on a different phone but the current phone didn't ask for the updated password, and logged in.
