My development process seems to go:
1. Write code
2. Believe that said code is amazing
3. Write more code
4. Revisit earlier code and start to doubt it's amazing-ness
5. Get frustrated that it could be done better
6. Redo 1 and repeat cycle
Seems a massive waste of time but I tend to like taking a different approach as soon as I find I'm getting stuck with the previous one.
I then get encouraged to take the quick/easy approach which seems like a backwards step and not worthwhile because I know it won't be as fast/efficient.2 -

Yesterday I was updating the code in a linux server at 23:00.
My 6 year son look the terminal while i was typing and said:
"Dad, why you always write in block letters? I can read and write also in italics."
"Dear son, you are smarter than my PC."11 -
When your question on StackOverflow has more than 5 upvotes and an accepted answer with around 10 upvotes, and then some asshole moderator decides it is a duplicate and deletes it.3

Some people have a Bible by their bed to worship; some people, me, have Code Complete 2nd Edition by their bed.8

I swear excel is fucking with me.
Use a formula to generate an array, all good.
Use same formula but passed into vba function, different set of data.
All of the ranges are hard set with $, if I use the formula in another cell the results are correct.
I hate Microsoft and my workplace for making me use this shit. -
