My in-house "office". A normal room, but with 2 desks. One for my monitors + laptop and the other one for other electronic stuff. It's a very quiet room :)

I've installed Ubuntu for her something like 2 years ago, because her Windows installation was fucked up. After that 2 years she aksed me to install her new computer and copy the personal documents from her old computer.
So I backed up all her personal stuff like photo's and so on and asked her if she would like me to install Ubuntu again. Then she said that she would love to get Ubuntu again, because it was much cleaner and easier than Windows 😁.
So, from now on, my mom is using Ubuntu instead of Windows. That makes me really proud of her.3 -
The short giggling you have with a colleague when you want to visit analytics.google.com and you start typing and hit enter after the first 4 characters, because you are convinced it's in your browser history, but apparently it's not and instead of going to analytics, it's going to search for that first 4 characters 😂2

Fuck those clients which are surprised when they get an invoice when they ask you to do something for them.
I think it's as simple as:
- you know my hourly rate
- you ask me to do some work for you
- I give you an estimation
- you agree with the estimation
- I get the job done and show it to you
- you accept the edits/solutions
- I send you an invoice with less hours than estimated
- you agree with the invoice and pay
It seems that every step is going well, except the last one...
Well... fuck you too.13 -
Tomorrow is monday...

That fucking shit day which cause feelings like being lost forever...7 -
I'm renewing my kitchen and I was wondering if I could implement some fancy (technical) stuff.
Do you guys have some nice ideas?2 -
Did any of you made a progressive web app before? If yes; what were your experiences with it? Pro's and cons?4
-
I'm curious if there are other devs who also do some wireframing or designing. If you do, which tool(s) are you using for it?6

If you are a freelance dev; how do you deal with clients that you don't want anymore?
For example: clients you have been working for a long time ago when your were younger/cheaper and knowing that they will never contact you again.5 -
Webdevs: do you prefer Google Chrome (or Chromium), Mozilla Firefox or something else for the default webdevelopment and why?17

It's really unstressing me when walking with my doggo 😌. I also enjoy the walk in the morning with him very much 😁21

I always try to break my code when it works without errors the first time.
Just to be sure that the code I wrote is being used.
Anyone else? -
Using nano on the server for quick fixes because I'm too lazy to setup the project. And using 'git checkout -- [filename]' when shit goes wrong.

I went to bed early... Got a strange feeling the next morning... It felt like what other people describe as 'good'.7

That mini heart attack you get when you've rebooted the server, but it takes longer than normal before it comes up again (and before you can ssh it).2

Yay!
(This text is needed, because my message needs to be between the 6 and 5000 characters long. In other words, "Yay!" is not long enough. So I'm typing a shitload of text to be sure I have enough characters in my message. Now I will stop typing, because I dont want to reach the 5000 character limit.)11
