After two months of NPM hell I have made the decision to stop trying to catch up to this Javascript insanity.

The salary I would make if I understood this shit is not worth my sanity. Most people develop a career, but all I seem to develop is RSI and a seething hatred for humanity.

Just joined a company 1 week ago and I was tasked to build a cryptocurrency bot in trading view using pinescript. The problem here is that I have zero knowledge in trading, charts , indicators etc and Pinescript is such a miserable language and I am so bored of this.

On top of that, nothing here makes sense. Tried learning trading on my own and it is simply boring and I don't understand many things here such as RSI, ATR etc . Sometimes I feel like quitting this job because I feel that I cannot deliver and at the same time I am afraid that I am quitting too soon before even giving a try.

How do you guys and gals combat RSI? Starting to get pains in my forearms... After a day of coding when I get home I have to prop the right hand side of my keyboard up to game as it gets rid of some of the discomfort...

RSI. Seriously I thought I am immune for the last two decades and now it's catching up on me. One of these days I'm gonna really learn VIM just to cut down on mouse usage.

pip kept screwing me up with permission issues in /usr/local etc. Changed permissions for respective python folders, still got pip permission errors,did a chgrp - R user /usr.

Have to reinstall :/

Peddling code for food, shelter, RSI and eyesight problems

There is nothing worse than trying to program while having RSI, it’s either you have your wrist support on and type slowly and hit multiple keys, or you have it off, type slowly and live with the pain

How do you guys deal with RSI and back issues?

My back has been killing me this past week and hands are starting to strain with work and home PC use. I plan on restarting my exercising for my back.

Someone has a good keyboard to recommend? I've been dealing with RSI in both my wrists/hands for a while, so I'm looking for a soft, responsive keyboard that doesn't put weight or strain on the wrists.

Really wish the likes of JetBrains would hurry up and offer an LSP server for every language. I'm categorically not interested in using PHPstorm because my RSI makes it impractical but I'd be happy to shell out for an LSP I can use with Neovim
