It's a shame that Adobe doesn't support Linux for their creative suit. I know lots of artists and designers that don't use Linux regularly because of this, since Photoshop and illustrator are the de facto tools for their work. Adobe xd seems to be awesome, but I can't use on my pc due the lack of support -.-21

My first design work (in Adobe XD)
Design has never been my strong point (implementation or design) but am very interested in designing interfaces.
Don't hold your horses. Criticize this. I want to know what you think about this.

This drawing was commented on my PR to explain the flow of a bug I need to fix, what da fuck does this means. I already told him to use a mock up tool like Adobe XD or some shit like that. Dudes answer's was "It's easier for me just to draw it"

Took me a few hours, but managed to finally run Adobe Photoshop CC 2018 on my old school Toshiba laptop running Arch Linux xD Still needs some work, but super happy I got it running :D

Adobe, who the fuck told you to put an icon on the desktop? Knock that shit off, no one wants to open Acrobat XD from the fucking desktop.6

I’m a backend - spaghetti - developer, and today i took the biggest mindfuck in my life when i found out that it’s possible to have functional mockups... at first glance i tought that i’ve only received a screenshot collection of what the designer did... guess what... i was able to click lè buttons and go trough the whole application flow.
Thanks Adobe for xD ...
I should get a freakin designer job.3 -
We don't have a designer yet in the team so we had to learn Adobe XD on the side to prototype our ideas. After months of getting the hang of it thinking this semi-free tool will work for us to save some money, Adobe decides to change their pricing plans starting in April 2020 and it will no longer be free. It feels like Adobe trapped us to get used to their platform and then secretly slap us with a price tag halfway. We can't blame them since we're all trying to put food on the table here. We started exploring Figma today and oh boy was it a gift from the gods! The features are so much better. They make our workflow faster!3

Adobe Creative Cloud: "Sign In Required".
I don't have Photoshop, XD, or any Adobe product open.
No "close window" button in dialog.
My choices are "Continue" or "Sign In Now".
Errrrrrrgggggghhhh...1 -
As a teenager learning to code on a computer given by my parents
It hurts to see announcements like mobile development has some limitations on 32bit, or Github Desktop, Adobe XD and the new Unity only supports 64bit8 -
Top Tip!
I just found out about http://figma.com a collaborative design tool, looks a bit like a mix of Sketch and Adobe XD, but with real collaborative features AND as far as I know it's FREE! :O and has both mac and Windows apps , AMAZING6 -
Adobe XD is the newest terrible child of the idea that you can design "user experience." What a waste of time. How many more middle-men do we need in this work flow?4

Is anyone here using something like "moqups"? I found it just recently and love the idea of it all being in one place with its own project folders, but the thing that is throwing me off is the money to what you get ratio, since it would be nice to have something that combines trello+adobe xd+flowcharts and more across devices with near unlimited space.2

Hi there everyone am Shreyas a CS student. Am a C# guy and learn the parts of language every day (recently learning Asp.net) and having a lot of intrest, knowledge and passion in buildling stuff in it with WPF, Xamarin. And also i do practice a lot in it everyday.
But recently I am getting a lot more intrest in UI/UX designing. Am finding myself watching more UI/UX designing (mostly in Adobe Xd and illustrator) videos on YT (dansky YouTube channel specifically) rather than C# which I used to watch in early days.
So what is your suggestion on it? Should I learn the UI/UX designing basics. Will it help me in future, if I become a developer on building applications for mobile and desktop in C#?
Am pretty confused with it? Should I learn it or not?2 -
I hate that I need to have Adobe Creative Cloud and its accompanying bullshit on my computer to use Adobe XD for mockups... how it intrudes on my file explorer as a shared drive... how their idea of "free" is planting a seed on my system to leech off of me in the future... how it just crashed my explorer while updating... this is why I run Linux on my laptop, why I wouldn't use Windows at all if it weren't for gaming, and why I ALWAYS use open source alternatives when they are comparable in functionality and performance. In the same sense that people don't like big government, I don't like BIG SOFTWARE.2

I really like Linux but it makes me mad when apps I use, like Adobe XD, are available for everything but Linux.
I'm not even going to start with HBO not being able to load streams on Linux. I payed money to stare at a black screen.
I tried to use PlayOnLinux for Adobe Creative Cloud but XD doesn't even appear there.
I also hate dual booting because when I'm using Win or Linux for a bit I tend to make different desktops for different programs/IDEs/browsers and I like them to be open at all times for easy access when I want to do shit. Dual booting means having to open all this again
VMs are even worse in that they tend to be very slow and when I see choppiness when moving windows I immediately "nope" out of that shit
I can't put up with Windows's bs anymore, but not being able to use the software I need is even worse.
I don't know what to do2 -
#adobexd got a new update as they do every month and i am totally loving it.
@adobe this month got a new update and these are the things you can see now in adobexd.
➡ Free plugins :- Yeah you can add plugins to your adobe xd now using which you can do a lot of stuff like pulling avatars , building icons , getting free ilustrations and much more .
For this go to the slide menu panel on the left.
On the bottom click on plugins icon
choose anyone and install .
Really great and handy feature .
➡Another one is that you can now use subscript and superscript for your text ,thats also cool feature as well.
Ok thats it
Let me know if you have any cool plugin you like from it . >>>>
