We started working at the same place and position with 2 weeks apart, and quite quickly we turned into best coding buddies which eventually turned into more!

My second worst experience with legacy code:

JSP with inline java to create JavaScript which creates HTML on every fucking page load.

Luckily I leave that company too.

Need to implement something huge on a app that I'm working on.
The design team is not from my company.

All the design that I have is in a PDF that I can't extract the images and they are low res.

How the actual fuck do they expect me to do a good job if I don't even have the design and assets to work with

Biggest pet peeve is when someone develops a shitty project using XYZ technology/language and a tutorial and they somehow think they know XYZ and all of it's intricacies and are an expert dev in XYZ. 😐😐😐. No you fucking know how to follow a tutorial and you have a small understanding of XYZ. End rant.
