Last Month I was working at a place as a intern and also working at another place as a Tech Consultant/Proj manager, managing interns at the same time.
What a emotional rollercoaster it was..............

I am in love with Electron JS.
Started Programming with Desktop development(Visual Basic),in my high school.
After a detour of trying Gamedev,Webdev,several frameworks, feels good to comeback and try Desktop dev.
Gonna dive deep...........

6 months, No Dev, Frustrating...

If Facebook would have bought Github,there would be no more private repos 😶

Now I know Node.js and PHP as well.
Convince me why I should use Node.Js and other frameworks over PHP and related frameworks.

1.) Start a small business
2.) Complete my game
3.) Graduate
4.) Get a good University for Masters

1.)Not defining functions and writing the entire code everytime needed.

2.) Initialising objects if classes and using them only for next 2 lines and then destroying them.

This guy ++ed my 54 rants!
Why so much pains ?😂

Me and my team in middle of our first hackathon-
a girl who is our class topper is my team mate, trying to write some Android Code.

I am writing nodejs Api, she calls me saying there's a bug in my code,so for saving time I decided to fix that small thing on her laptop,so when I went to the backend folder to open the js file,I see no default text editor set for it. After searching,I found out she had no atom,sublime,vs etc.
I asked her - "Do you even have notepad++ ?".
She - "I have notepad,but not ++".

That day I had to edit my code in Wordpad. I am still shaking.

Dedicating Time to learn new things.

Python is Offensively Easy.

Parents got a computer home when I was 7 years old.
Used to Play Serious Sam,Rally Trophy and Freedom Fighters on it. Alaways wondered how these games were made just to follow that Passion and make my own 12 years later :P

I feel Interns are exploited real bad!
There should be a law to protect and regulate their working hours and payments.

I JUST REALISED HOW POWERFUL ARE COMMANDLINE ARGUMENTS !!

F*** you college u didn't teach me shit,they just taught us how to pass cmd arguments.

I just tried on my own to pass a command using PHP to run a simpe python script on the server! But its so fun!

Damn,now I see a sea of possibilities of what I can do with this new Power I discovered !!

Got a .tech domain for 1.5$ for an year !

A guy wanted me to convert his Unity project from Android to ios.

He was offering less than 50$....

It dosent end here....

He sent me the files in a zip on Google Drive.....

Also the project size was around 3 gb......

Learning Machine Learning, JavaScript and finishing my game!

Good Experience -

1.)Became proficient in Web development!

2.)Wanted to learn it for a very long time but didn't know where to start, but this year got opportunities to work on some good projects!

3.)Also got to lead a awesome team of good developers in my college!

4.) Got to work on a awsome internship with a very nice employer :)

5.) Became a Devrant Supporter :D

Bad Experience -

1.) Had to face shit ass seniors who blamed me and my team all the time for their inefficiencies.

2.) Team had developed many good projects in android and web for the college,but the stupid seniors failed to implement them,it was a big mood!

3.) I had planned to learn ML and improve my competitive coding and also finish my game,but failed to do so :(.

Hopefully 2018 will be productive:)

I sometimes get issues while testing my project,
Like even though js function is declared, the console shows error that its not declared and some other such errors.

I use Chrome on windows while testing.

But when I use Firefox on ubuntu,these errors vanish!

Is this issue with chrome or windows ?

Fuck Airlines man !

I came 6hrs early to the airport as I had to check out from the hotel.
Then this ass airlines delays flight by 2hrs !
Luckily I have my laptop with me on this flight,sorted some work in the first 2 hrs, bt now I am fuckin done!

Aaaah ! Also the airport wifi is so shit,I can even do a google search properly!

The reason I become intrested in computers was gaming.
Given I started out as a game dev, playing games helps me think more about it and imporve my skills.

Also sometimes it reduces my productivity :P

What I learnt after 3 hrs of debugging for a stupid issue today ?

Lesson 1 - Getting some unknown error even though your code ks right and no error in logs ? Check you SQL version and its rules.

Lesson 2 - phpmyadmin is fuckin shit ass software

Lesson 3- I need to learn JavaScript for backend ASAP

Windows : Takes time to start

Linux : Takes time to shutdown ?

Procrastination and not doing real stuff

Me : I like making games,I think I will take that as my career.

Dad : *like every generic Indian Parent* Games are waste of time, use your skills to make something productive !
