I NEVER DID ANYTHING FUCKING RELATED TO CRYPTO CURRENCY! HOW DO YOU KNOW MY EMAIL?? LIKE WTF. I'm sitting here doing my stuff and every few minutes my phone starts ringing and I'm like "hey maybe person x answered or something else important happened" but when I actually look at it to see whats up it's just a fucking email about bitcoin being outdated and it tells me to maybe invest into other crypto currencies. After actually reading one of the spam mails because I was interested in what they actually want from me I had to find out that they do not even mention any other currency or website. WTF INTERNET?? WHAT DO YOU WANT?2

The graphic cards supply is completely madness. Even after the crypto crash it is not possible to buy RTX cards at price any close to MSRP.
But today my jaw drop when I saw auction on popular online portal where some guy was selling a place in a queue in another store. The title was "Rights to buy RTX 3080" and for 400$ you could potentially buy a GPU for the price close to MSRP. I think this was too much and after a few hour the advert was took down.5 -

Sorry if this is a bad read, pretty new to devRant and writing in general.
I can't help but think and think of how much I fucked up my opportunities to completely change my life/financial status a couple of times. Damn.
A few years back (it was 2009, I think) I was playing Diablo II online, helped some random guy get through the hard levels. Normally, in such situation the lower lvl player allowed the higher level guy to grab the valuable boss loot; however this time the guy except sharing the loot with me asked me if I want his spare 2000 bitcoin. I asked if it's of any value, he said "not really".
I said I'd contact him later, when I figure out how this thing works and how to setup a wallet.
Guess what, I was too lazy and forgot about this thing completely. Then we lost contact.
In 2010, I made a comeback to bitcoin, but instead of buying it, I downloaded the bitcoin client, the blockchain (it was 800 mb in size, I remember) and have been contributing by running it on my PC for like a year.
Finally decided to get it ~3 years ago. Bought 2.5 BTC for 400$.
Was holding it, until I fell for the "free OmniseGO" scam and somebody stole them off me.
All of these can't get out of my head.
I visit coinmarketcap literally every hour to see how much I could have now. My girlfriend, friends, family, all fail to cheer me up. I still made a pretty good deal buying 5.5 ETH for 45$ and thats like 2500$ soon, its nice but this much I can make by coding
Shit, what do I do to stop being stressed except for seeing a psychologist.

Which will block browser coin miners on Chrome for now. Other ad/script blockers might work (though not always guaranteed).
Currently, these miners don't limit their CPU usage (and neither does the browser) so it's not great for your PC use.
If implemented correctly, like only using for a few seconds or for captchas/link shorteners (as suggested on the Coin Hive site), this could be a nice alternative to ads. But there is a guarantee that many will start using this unethically and not even tell users, nevermind that they'll do it for the entire session of the site.
Add Service Workers to the mix and it's a bag of trouble.13 -

On page 19 of the ethereum yellow paper: http://gavwood.com/paper.pdf it defines the address of a wallet as: A(pr) = Β[96...255](KEC(ECDSAPUBKEY(Pr))), which is the right most 160-bits of the Keccak hash of the public key generated by the private key.
If I expose the public key to the network, do I allow people to impersonate me and sign transactions even though they don't have Tr, Ts, or Tw? My understanding is no, that without those values you can't hash the transaction.
Subsequently, this leads me to wonder if the purpose of the address (besides identifying users) to obscure the public key so that the private key is at a less risk of being reversed? Or can the public key of any address be captured?
If the public key of any address can be identified on the network or off network (without actually being the owner of that key), how do you do that? Are there any resources on how to perform this that are computationally easy?1 -

Guys check out IOTA, get a light node wallet and buy some as long as it is still low. It is rising at a rising rate since some hours now.
IOTA is the solution to bitcoins speed and scalability problems. IOTA does not use the blockchain but instead a network called the tangle, which enables decentralized peer-to-peer transactions. There are no miners, no fees and the transaction validation speed depends on how many people are using the currency. One transaction requires your device to validate 2 other transactions through proof of work and therefore the system can never be overloaded by too many transaction requests.
Be warned though, the IOTA foundation is only currently building up the infrastructure, and people are just starting to trade since a few weeks so trasactions still may take a few hours.3 -
