Really happy about this one! I cannot go into details yet but hopefully will write a blogpost about it when I may disclose it :)24 -
Fffuuuck you Nvidia, you worthless piece of shit company. There's a part of the world that doesn't use Windows. Grow the fuck up. Torvalds gesture makes complete sense when you get a new kickass laptop, load kickass fedora 25, but are unable to tap into it's graphic potential. You spend 2 days trying to install the fucking driver. The next day you decide to follow one blogpost instead of 2 and You're forced to reinstall fedora and the cycle repeats. The past 4 days have been painfully unproductive.11

For those of you that have a blog...
Ever have this moment where you do one relatively minor thing and end up spending the next hour writing a blogpost about it?5 -
I write a blogpost twice a year and then spend 4 hours fixing my handcrafted blog engine. It's healthy to stay in the loop regarding the latest Vite, Typescript and React bugs and inconsistencies I guess.
Anyway, I explained a cool pattern with Rust traits:

I'm not one of those people who can just buy a phone and use it. I have to unlock it, flash it, de-google it and customize it before first use. I don't changes phones often, but my 2019 phone is slowly dying.
Here's my whole new setup with a Sony Xperia 1 V:

I finally got around to migrating all my e-mail services off an ancient OpenBSD 6.3 VM and onto my current Docker Infrastructure:

Travis CI will finally allow you to run both open source *and* private repos on travis-ci.com. That's awesome. Does that make your life simpler to manage .org n .com things?

So a client came today to me saying his domain that I setup some time ago isn't working on a specific russian internet provider, checked everything and then came across a blogpost stating cloudflare IPs are blocked. Researched further and it came out that those fucking retards from the "Federal Tax Service of the Russian" blocked a ton of cloudflare IPs because russian online casinos used them like a year ago.
Then checked another domain he had a problem with and the godaddy IPs were also banned - even more extreme they were banned for like 14 incidents, what the fuck, had to create a new account to get a new ip/nameservers assigned from cloudflare, jesus fucking christ.1 -
I migrated my blog from css to ionic , and i wrote about it.

After some amdgpu issues, I have Sway/Wayland another shot. It still had several issues I encountered before and then some:

I spent a major part of last week writing my third blog post. Last weeks topic was the alias command, I did lots of reading and I came up with an article I think would be interesting.
You can read the article on https://munawrites.me/2020/06/...
I would really love to read your feedback on what your thoughts are on the alias command.4 -
This is a truly WTF moment about messed up responses to X11 session removal in Gnome.
2 weeks ago I published a blogpost about the upcoming plans of GNOME 49 and the eventual removal of the X11 session. Since then, instead of looking at feedback, bugs and issues related to the topic, we all collectively had to deal with the following, and I am not exaggerating one bit:
Fascists and Nazis
Wild Conspiracy Theories that make Qanon jealous
“Concerned” Trolling about the Accessibility of the Wayland session
A culture war where Wayland is Gay, and X11 is the glorious past they stole from you
In my wildest dreams I could have never made this shit up. You all need mandatory supervised access to the Internet from now on3 -
We recently encountered a strange Mongo DB behaviour or rather strange Mongo Shell behaviour.
Read how it made us scratch our heads.

Looking through old photos, I found some eBay shots of the first two cellphones I have ever owned. I decided to turn those photos into a blog post, listing every single phone I've owned throughout my adult life. Enjoy:

Guys I need some input.
So me and my coworker discussed IDEs and I told him about this comment I read on StackOverflows blogpost about the developer survey of 2019.
Here's The link: https://stackoverflow.blog/2019/02/...
And the comment mentioned that he/she wanted more choices when it comes to IDE themes.
That got me thinking, what other than light/dark would be Nice to have. And why?
And why arent we given more than two to choose from?7 -

I haven't been playing as many games lately. After 36 hours over the course of 8 weeks, I finally got through Stellar Blade. Not the greatest and a rough start, but overall I give it a 73%. Read my (spoiler free) review:

It's quite straight to the point and old school looking but that's what what got me to stay and look around.2
