Implementing a for loop in js because I need to skip some elements in a map as I transform. I'm feeling dirty

I just commented a test so the PR passes and the feature reaches next release; I can't fix it (Damn react testing library tests)
but after that, the linter failed for the same PR, so I just fixed it and did a git push -f
I guess once you cross the line you cannot come back
feel my pain1
I was contacted through Linkedin by some HR people, trying to seduce me for an interview for a position they have opened.
Among the benefits, they say, and I Quote
"the possibilities of growth* are infinite"
wew that's a lot of possibilities
* I assume they are referring to a professional career2
here we go again
any ideas on how to improve this?15
Yesterday I was cleaning my computer and accidentally wiped out all my dev folder (I got confused with another folder named "dev" that I had just downloaded) and I lost all my work.
Fortunately, most of everything (or the most important at least) was on GIT. I only lost my yesterday's work which was not pushed (only locally committed).
Kids, remember pushing before leaving the building12
In less than 24 hours, I will be giving my last exam and getting a degree in Information Systems Engineering
The exam should be easy, but I am so afraid that I am having a hard time to study (And I also find the topics reaaaally boring, such as ethics, and law)
Send good vibes so I can finally (After almost 10 years) finish my studies and be an engineer4
"We need to refactor THIS section of the Frontend because BE wants to implement THAT - we will agree the new structure, and we will migrate the previous structure"
- refactoring the app 4 times a year because reasons
Does anyone here use Payoneer here?
Let's say (hypothetically speaking) that a dev gets paid through Payoneer, and does not declare that money in taxes in their residing country (and that's the deliberate choice of using Payoneer in the first place - perhaps taxes are so high and makes the business not worth it).
That country does not exchange information with USA (which is where I would assume Payoneer accounts are). The customer that is paying through Payoneer is US-based.
At which point might the developer be accused of money laundry or similar by Payoneer? Even just for avoiding taxes, if anything
Of course, this is a very hypothetical question, none of this is actually happening.4
Yet another meeting that I was forced to join where my presence was absolutely not required9
Considering that Markdown exists and Readme files are rendered by default in GitLab, Github, and so on
Why devs insist on documenting stuff on Confluence?12
I've been working remotely for more than 6 months, but today it's the first time I'm coding wearing only underpants
Living the dream4
Literally dealing with a dev in a technology I know the most(and he barely knows), with him trying to give me orders because he wants to. We are pairs, but he has been more time in the project so "he's the leader", but he's acting like a boss. How to deal with that bullshit?
I think he feels attacked on his role7
