My duck came in, along with his two capes, the stickers I forgot to ask for, and the note I requested.
In the special instructions box, I asked that they include a note that said something random, and they delivered.

As the Linux Lover that I am, and Arch user, I shall name my duck Archie.

Until now I've never thought of putting stickers on my laptop. Always preferred it to be clean, but with all those cool stickers on all your laptops... It made me wanna put as many stickers as possible and since devRant stickers looked lonely, I've decided to print some of my own. On other side I wantedthem to be useful for me so I grabbed a handful of NFC stickers and designed links and required shortcuts for my phones to run with them on touch. for example if I need a hotspot on my mobile to be activated quickly, I just put my phone against the WIFI sticker and bingo! And yes, devRant logo opens devRant app))

Joining devRant.
I had been trying to get into the professional Developer Community for a while, wanting to find actual programmers, not just "I know how to write bubble sort in 3 languages" coders.
I admit I joined the platform for stickers, but I have just absolutely loved it! I see actual problems faced by developers, I relate to them. I find that I have way too much to learn before calling myself a true developer!
3-4 months of devRant has helped me grow as a developer more than 2.5 years of college so far!

Yesterday was an extremely stressful day. Several things went wrong, clients were already preparing for the weekend, a horrible headache was building up during the day, all in all: a day, where you'd better have stayed in bed. Finally home, I approached my mailbox, put the key in, opened it, expecting bills or similar things to... *cough* sweeten *cough*... my weekend, but instead found a letter from devRant.
Guys, I gotta tell you, this really made my entire day (if not my entire weekend). I know it's silly, because we're basically talking about a letter and some stickers, but it's the small things one should appreciate, as they can brighten the worst days.
Thanks @dfox and @trogus for building such a great platform, that allows fellow developers to vent about *certain* things from time to time. Keep up the good work!

@dfox and @trogus I have to say I'm very impressed with the quality of the stickers I got back in October. They have been enduring near daily use from taking my laptop in and out of my backpack to dealing with my sweaty palms on the keyboard deck. No discoloration at all.

As a Brazilian we are taught early in school that the government postal service is one of the best in the world.
It took the stickers more than a month to get here.
This is a rant and a thanks to @dfox
I've been absent but that's because I'm not getting as frustrated nowadays, that's because I know someone in devrant is going through something worse than I am

So the international shipment I was waiting for and was really excited were not the devrant stickers and was this useless and huge azure poster. I am crying. I was really looking forward to those stickers. What am I even supposed to do with this poster? Also I just realized I did not recieve any confirmation from devrant that I was receiving those stickers so that means I am not getting them. Why god why? @dfox please help me.
