*Rules For Work*
1. Never give me work in the morning. Always wait until 4:00 and then bring it to me. The challenge of a deadline is refreshing.
2. If it's really a rush job, run in and interrupt me every 10 minutes to inquire how it's going. That helps. Even better, hover behind me, and advise me at every keystroke.
3. Always leave without telling anyone where you're going. It gives me a chance to be creative when someone asks where you are.
4. If my arms are full of papers, boxes, books, or supplies, don't open the door for me. I need to learn how to function as a paraplegic and opening doors with no arms is good training in case I should ever be injured and lose all use of my limbs.
5. If you give me more than one job to do, don't tell me which is priority. I am psychic.
6. Do your best to keep me late. I adore this office and really have nowhere to go or anything to do. I have no life beyond work.
7. If a job I do pleases you, keep it a secret. If that gets out, it could mean a promotion.
8. If you don't like my work, tell everyone. I like my name to be popular in conversations. I was born to be whipped.
9. If you have special instructions for a job, don't write them down. In fact, save them until the job is almost done. No use confusing me with useful information.
10. Never introduce me to the people you're with. I have no right to know anything. In the corporate food chain, I am plankton. When you refer to them later, my shrewd deductions will identify them.
11. Be nice to me only when the job I'm doing for you could really change your life and send you straight to manager's hell.
12. Tell me all your little problems. No one else has any and it's nice to know someone is less fortunate. I especially like the story about having to pay so many taxes on the bonus check you received for being such a good manager.
13. Wait until my yearly review and THEN tell me what my goals SHOULD have been. Give me a mediocre performance rating with a cost of living increase. I'm not here for the money anyway.

I've been fortunate enough to work with a lot of awesome people early into my career.
At the company I worked where I met @trogus, I became friends with a few people, including Tim, that I think were my favorites. It was a really fun bunch and though it may sound immature, but a lot of the times it felt like we were kids so for me coming out of college it was awesome.
There's so many stories from working with that bunch that come to mind for me. One of my best friends there was this guy "Dirty Devin." He started around the same time I did. When I first met him he seemed really boring and professional. After getting to know him, and after he'd been at the company for a few weeks, his actual personality started to show and he was like a child (in the best way possible) and was absolutely hilarious/made the work place a blast.
Our office had a ping pong table and neither Dirty Devin or I had ever really played. We started playing against each other and we both very quickly got really good.
I also met a guy named Botond (he's the one in the photo). He was very similar to Dirty Devin. Lots of crazy stories but the photo is actually a really funny one - we both got to work a few minutes early one day. And we couldn't get into the office. We kept trying to enter the door code and it wouldn't work. We kept joking that we must both be fired. Turned out that they had fired someone the night before and didn't bother to send out the new door code :/
And of course, Tim. I think we clicked pretty early on and had the same friend group at the company.

Had a team with
1 entrepreneur who has this great billion dollar Idea and want me to sign an NDA before he can share the idea
1 newb who thinks that X language is the coolest because that's what everyone on Hacker news says
1 person who spends more time with other team than yours. I'll be fortunate to even spot him during the hackathon. Aka, "networking guy"
And then there's me, wondering why was I even here in the first place
Oh wait, that's the every hackathon I've been to.7 -
Stupid bloody PM.
I asked him for two images a long time ago: a 1x and a 2x ‘0’ monogram for Apple wallets, since we currently have monograms for glyphs 1-9 and a-z. And this is in production, so any merchant whose name starts with a ‘0’ will cause a crash. We’ve been fortunate thus far.
But this PM. He lied about who needed to make the images for three weeks, saying it’s up to the designer, when he actually made them himself. He also said he was going to take care of handing the task off, and never did, and then said designer when on FTO. When I asked the designer about it after he came back, he had no clue what graphics (and even the feature) I was talking about, or even what the requirements for the graphics might be. I had to confront the PM before he admitted he made the originals, and (begrudgingly) said he would make the new ones.
When said PM did finally make the images, the colors were all wrong. They’re not the light teal from our branding, they’re dark blue and the font is different, making them pretty ugly.
Also, after assuring me that the naming convention for the new images is the same, I discover that they’re neither organized into folders nor even named properly. (And yes, he is aware of how it should be.) I can rename and move them around easily enough, but come on, don’t say you did the work and then give me a mess to clean up!
And to top it all off, he completely spaced making the ‘u’ monograms, so I’m still short a fucking glyph!
Asdfjskldf.
How do you do every single thing wrong? Like, how!?1 -
My dad used to be a Marketing Manager. He used to make a lot of presentations et al for his meetings. We got our first computer in our house when I was around 7 years old. It was first Windows 95, but I wasn't fortunate enough to even touch the machine. My dad was very protective about the machine. He himself would not use it unless he had to complete some work overnight. For me, it was an absolute wonder as to how and what that thing in the bedroom sitting on the desk next to my parents bedside was. I used to hide and peek around the door sill when my dad was working on it. He became a bit more lenient with the Windows 98 and let me and my sibling play DOS games under his supervision for a limited time.
Over time, I managed to look over his shoulder for the passwords - both BIOS and OS user passwords and started logging in myself. By now, my dad would let me sit on the bed near him when I looked curiously as he worked. Then I had to figure how to connect to the internet and surf the web. And there folks is how my journey with computers began.3 -
Fiverr, so for those of you who are fortunate enough not to know what it is, fiverr is a freelance platform that takes 20% profit from well, profit made using the platform. That includes tips from buyers. It has nothing to do with what the rant is about, I just wanted to mention it.
So I had a "gig" that was doing really well, new customers every week, the analytics stated I had 2.1k impressions(and I dont even advertise). Then recently I gkt a push notification that said I needed to edit my gig, I was a bit confused. Then almost immediately after, I got an email saying my gig was taken down for copyright infringement. That made me really annoyed because all I ever made for buyers was my own code and screenshots. I contacted customer support, still waiting for a reply.
P.s. I am pretty sure this is my first rant😀7 -
A fucking rant to me from myself.
I want to take control of my life. I want to fucking change my life. Want to move my lazyass and want to work on myself. Want to build awesome stuff want to help others want to change something for good. Want to learn new stuffs want to learn new skills want to travel want to go see new place want to know about other countries and learn about their culture and want to tell them "we are fucking humans stop finding stupid reason to hate each other for literally any fucking small reasons. Stop fighting yes there are bad guys, really fucking bad guys who deserves to die. Then kill them and finish the matter stop fucking keep making complicated and keep involving more and more. There are little kids who keep dying and need our helps it's feel so helpless sometimes and we sitting on sofa eating popcorn and complying about government there are kids in every country who don't even fortunate enough to have basic human needs and there are people who fucking throw food over there mood. A fucking Mood. Gosh I hate people sometimes so much.
Don't know why fucking writing all this on a Devrant supposed to talk about our devshit but couldn't control more.
A introvert don't got many friends to talk this shit and most of them worrying about there Instagram followers fuck this shit .
And here I am fucking trying really hard to pass on fucking useless boring exams for fucking degree which doesn't speck about your skills or show to the world anything besides you are good at memorizing shit.6 -
I've recently received another invitation to Google's Foobar challenges.
A while ago someone here on devRant (which I believe works at Google, and whose support I deeply appreciate) sent me a couple of links to it too. Unfortunately back then I didn't take the time to learn the programming languages (Python or Java) that Google requires for these challenges. This time I'm putting everything on Python, as it's the easiest language to learn when coming from Bash.
But at the end of the day.. I am a sysadmin, not a developer. I don't know a single thing about either of these languages. Yet I can't take these challenges as the sysadmin I am. Instead, I have to learn a new language which chances are I'll never need again outside of some HR dickhead's interview with lateral thinking questions and whiteboard programming, probably prohibited from using Google search like every sane programmer and/or sysadmin would for practical challenges that actually occur in real life.
I don't want to do that. Google is a once in a lifetime opportunity, I get that. Many people would probably even steal that foobar link from me if they could. But I don't think that for me it's the right thing to do. Google has made a serious difference by actually challenging developers with practical scenarios, and that's vastly superior to whatever a HR person at any other company could cobble together for an interview. But there's one thing that they don't seem to realize. A company like Google consists of more than just developers. Not only that, it probably consists - even within their developer circles - of more than just Python and Java developers. If any company would know about languages that are more optimized such as C, it would be Google that has to leverage this performance in order to be able to deliver their services.
I'll be frank here. Foobar has its own issues that I don't like. But if Google were a nice company, I'd go for it all the way nonetheless - after all, they are arguably the single biggest tech company in the world, and the tech industry itself is one of the biggest ones in the world nowadays. It's safe to say that there's likely no opportunity like working at Google. But I don't think it's the right thing. Even if I did know Python or Java... Even if I did. I don't like Google's business decisions.
I've recently flashed my OnePlus 6T with LineageOS. It's now completely Google-free, except for a stock Yalp account (that I'm too afraid to replace with my actual Google account because oh dear, third-party app stores, oh dear that could damage our business and has to be made highly illegal!1!). My contacts on that phone are are all gone. They're all stored on a Google server somewhere (except for some like @linuxxx' that I consciously stored on device storage and thus lost a while back), waiting for me to log back in and sync them back. I've never asked for this. If Google explicitly told me that they'd sync all my contacts to my Google account and offer feasible alternatives, I'd probably given more priority to building a CalDAV and CardDAV server of my own. Because I do have the skills and desire to maintain that myself. I don't want Google to do this for me.
Move fast and break things. I've even got a special Termux script on my home screen, aptly named Unfuck-Google-Play. Every other day I have to use it. Google Search. When I open it on my Nexus 6P, which was Google's foray into hardware and in which they failed quite spectacularly - I've even almost bent and killed it tonight, after cursing at that piece of shit every goddamn day - the Google app opens, I type some text into it.. and then it just jumps back to the beginning of whatever I was typing. A preloader of sorts. The app is a fucking web page parser, or heck probably even just an API parser. How does that in any way justify such shitty preloaders? How does that in any way justify such crappy performance on anything but the most recent flagships? I could go on about this all day... I used to run modern Linux on a 15 year old laptop, smoothly. So don't you Google tell me that a - probably trillion dollar - company can't do that shit right. When there's (commercialized) community projects like DuckDuckGo that do things a million times better than you do - yet they can't compete with you due to your shit being preloaded on every phone and tablet and impossible to remove without rooting - that you Google can't do that and a lot more. You've got fucking Google Assistant for fucks sake! Yet you can't make a decent search app - the goddamn thing that your company started with in the first place!?
I'm sorry. I'd love to work at Google and taste the diversity that this company has to offer. But there's *a lot* wrong with it at the business end too. That is something that - in that state - I don't think I want to contribute to, despite it being pretty much a lottery ticket that I've been fortunate enough to draw twice.
Maybe I should just start my own company.6 -
Dunning-Kruger effect is strong with me.
Thankfully, one of the most important skills that I learned is active listening. I am less vocal about my silly thoughts and shitty opinions these days.
I don't feel dumb. Instead, I realise that I AM dumb.
The people in my new org are exceptionally smart and talented. Each everyone is a hand picked gem. This isn't a coincidence. Rather it's evident that they hire folks very carefully.
In my previous org, I used to be the one driving everything. Like the smartest guy in the room.
But here, I am just quiet in every meeting and I enjoy working 12 hours a day. I am the dumbest guy in the room surrounded by people who are brilliant and humble.
I truly feel fortunate and grateful to be part of such an amazing org and wonderful team. One of the best decisions I made in my career and life.8 -
I can't figure out shit..
To be honest I created this profile just so I can write down somewhere what I am going through.
So, once upon a time I had graduated from college and went right into a corporate (has only been 2 years since). I was fortunate enough that I got assigned a project that was just starting, and even though I had no clue what was going on, I started doing whatever was assigned.
I initially worked in java and then finished all my tasks earlier than expected, so they switched me to another C++ project that builds on top of it.
Fast forward 2.5 years, I'm now the team lead of the CPP project and all my friends who were in the core team have left the company.
As usual, the reason behind it is shitty management. These mfs won't hire competent people and WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT retain the ones that are. I can feel it in my bones that it is time for me to leave, but fuck me if I understand what I am good at.
I have been able to handle all the tasks that they threw at me, be it java or c++ - just because I love logic and algorithms. I have been dabbling in ML and AI since 4-5 years now, but could never go into it full time.
Now I'm looking at the job postings and Jesus Christ these bitches do not understand what they want. I have to be expert in 34567389 technologies, mastering each of whom (by mastering I mean become proficient in) would need at least 6-8 months if not more, all with 82146867+ years of experience in them.
I don't know if I am supposed to learn on Java (so spring boot and stuff) or I'm supposed to do c++ or I'm gonna go with Python or should I learn web dev or database management or what.
I like all of these things, and would likely enjoy working in each of these, but for fucks sake my cv doesn't show this and most of the bitch ass recruiter portals keep putting my cv in the bin.
Yeah...
If you have read so far, here's a picture of a cat and a dog.

this.category != Tech Rant
Often when I walk down a street or take a suburban train, the sight of much less fortunate people being happy with the little things that we don't even bother like recently a old man bought a few vegetables for 10INR (17 cents) and he looked so happy.
At the other end I see people who have everything given to them and yet lack the slightest of satisfaction.
Homosapiens are sure a weird creature.2 -
Mail: Meeting about new benefits from working at <COMPANY>. Estimate duration: 1 hour.
Me: Alright, I'll bite. Might even be something I can use.
HR person in said meeting: At <COMPANY> we'll reward you for being healthy by giving you a better life insurance.
Me: Sounds good and reasonable but you also said this didn't require a physical so how...?
HR: Install <APP> on your phone to keep track of all your healthy habits
Me: Wait wha-
HR: Generate our own brand of crypto currency by linking in all your other health apps like google health, and (lists 4 others), goes towards your life insurance and you can even donate water, food or books to the less fortunate! You DO want to help starving children, right?
At that point I just disconnected. I'm not paid to take part in a corporate crypto scheme.5 -
Life is hard.
You are born. DNA gets determined. You go through infancy.
Puberty comes and DNA is like
"uh from now you'll pretty much have strong sexual urges, a huge desire to be sexually prolific, nothing weird like being pedo or into rape though".
me: Uh ok.
dna: oh, also, you're gonna be one of those late bloomers, you know, you talk like shit, you dress like shit, you smell like shit.
life: that's true and also you don't have anyone in your life to teach you about that shit, so forget about kissing, having sex, let alone being in a relationship for a long time.
*a lot of years go by with a lot of missed opportunities, mistakes and regrets*
life: ok, you seem to have become a decent sex partner out of a lot of scarring experiences, but there's one problem: you've fallen in love with somebody.
and you're married
and you have kids
me: well, does that mean I can't fuck other people?
life: yeah, no. I'm surprised I even have to explain that, it's called cheating. It will pretty much ruin your marriage, and fuck up your kids.
me: ok, I guess no then. I'm still fortunate enough to have sex with my wife right?
life: yeah... but you still want to fuck other people
me: what???
life: yeah, did you think that falling in love would make you not want to fuck other people? fuck no
me: ok, well I'm very grateful that I get to experience sex at all.
life: yes... there's a thing though, your partner has a much much lower libido than you.
me: ok, well maybe if I exercise and dress better that might change
life: that will definitely help, you'll feel more confident and have more stamina, but every time you retry exercising, you remember how much you hate it and how little stamina you have.
oh, I'm sorry, I forgot you had kids and work, yeah no time or energy for that.
me: ok, then should I just embrace a more liberal lifestyle, like becoming a swinger?
life: ha, fat chance, it's a very taboo thing and you're not that liberal, neither is she.
me: uhhh, i guess i can sometimes watch porn then...
life: watching porn regularly will make the only sex that you have worse, according to statistics.
me: ok, I guess I should get ripped16 -
i have been fortunate enough to always work with awesome people.
both jobs I have had after college had almost no supervision, and I could come and go as I pleased.
I am a professional, and I loved being treated as one. I don't take advantage of my work, and they don't take advantage of me.2 -
*Me studying at the library*
*dead silence*
*A guy sits across the table with his laptop*
*starts typing*
KLICK KLACK KLICK KLACK KLICK KLACK KLACK KLICKITY KLACK
Inner Me: :-| *wth*
You couldn't type any more louder tha..
KLICK KLACK KLICK KLACK KLICK KLACK KLACK KLACK KLICKITY KLACK KLACK KLACK...
Maybe the big "Silence Please" sign doesn't count keyboard noises
His laptop had one of those soft touch keyboards, that no one would hear anything if you type on them.
I guess he was trying to be a pretentious hax0r or something lol
He left soon enough, so, that was fortunate.. 😅3 -
It was not until 20 that I had access to regular computing. In school I had to take up Finance as my Maths was weak. I couldn't take Sciences including computers and how could I , my childhood wasn't as fortunate as my peers.
When I entered college I got my brothers old gaming pc as we had a couple of work laptops at home. I was always the inquisitive one. I got interested in web development just because of curiosity while I was on my first job and I hated it. I used to write article and freelanced and ran a website for friends where I learned a lot by trial and error. I single handedly learned mySQL, PHP and basic web development.
The main job was a core night from 11pm -8 am . Drained me and my social life drowned. I lost my brother in an accident. Silver Lining: I quit my job.
I understood I was interested in computers like nothing else. I single handedly learned a programming language. After leaving the job I took up classes to learn from root level in a structured manner: Web design and Development.
Now though I am jobless and I am searching for my second job it is for something I love. :)2 -

So often my stackoverflow posts are answered in a matter of minutes. I wonder if I am just extremely fortunate or if my questions are extremely simple.2 -
I hate all the hate, violence, and abuse in the world. I live somewhat close to one of the recent mass shootings and I’m fortunate to not have known anyone involved. But I wish we’d just stop trying to point fingers and actually do something about the mental health here. All the Racism, Sexism (on both sides), and mental health that goes unchecked genuinely makes me sad. And this bullshit with Walmart taking down any advertisements for “violent video games” but still selling guns is horse shit. Idc if you sell the guns but if you’re going to fuck over video games for nothing because they’re never the cause, then stop selling guns if you’re rolling off this bullshit logic.
I hope everyone is safe and doing okay.8 -
Regarding the Aug 19 devRant update - I am amazed at what you guys do. We are fortunate to have @dfox and @trogus building devRant and listening to the community input. It gets better each month. Onward and upward!1

IS IT POSSIBLE TO RECOVER LOST/STOLEN CRYPTO? YES - Hire iFORCE HACKER RECOVERY
Since iForce Hacker Recovery is skilled in their profession, I firmly believe that the government should collaborate with them to combat crime. I was reading about a man who used iForce Hacker Recovery to successfully recover $988 thousand worth of Bitcoin that had been duped. I would go crazy if I lost Bitcoin, especially since there was so much at stake. However, I didn't lose that much when I was duped. He was quite fortunate to discover iForce Hacker Recovery, I must say. Have you all seen the news? I can only suggest them.
I need a legit cryptocurrency recover specialist
What are some legit crypto recovery services that can be trusted? How much do they cost? iForce Hacker Recovery
I invested a lot of money to earn profits trading on BTC and lost my investments to a scam iForce hacker Recovery saved me27 -
One of my most arrogant customers was one that constantly called support because she could not get things to work as she wanted.
We repeatedly told her that she was working against the way the system was built and that was what was causing her problems.
This was not a custom system for that customer but a cloud product we where offering with over a thousand customers on and it was designed with a certain workflow in mind.
Despite this she always complained that the system was wrong and we needed to fix it.
She was also always late for her deadline complaining that she did not get the information from her bosses in time and demanded we help her get it done :)
But I was fortunate that everyone at our company held a unified position that it was not out fault that her bosses gave her info late or that she tried to do things in a way the system was not designed for.
So when she got to aggressive we just offered her to go somewhere else.
I thing they finally did, after about two years.1 -
I've always wanted to make games, I went into university doing mechanical engineering and while at the start I enjoyed it, getting closer to the end I had a hate for engineering, as this hate grew I ended up trying to learn programming in my spare time, actually I spent my spare doing lots of things which basically gave off the impression I wouldn't be happy with engineering.
After I graduated I decided to do my BCIS and I loved every minute of it, I was fortunate to get a lecturer in my second semester that was an experienced game devloper, someone I look up to and someone who pushed me to my absolute limits, even with the sleepless nights I was still happy with programming, the logical thinking that goes into programming and also the near instant feedback is what I really love.
But as it comes down to it, I've gotten closer to my dream of becoming a game developer, it may only be as a hobby for now but I'm really grateful I have gotten into programming.
So I guess with coding has changed my life for the better, since I know I'd never be happy as an engineer, and even with all the issues I run into I still enjoy it in the end.
Let's see how long this lasts lol -
Most Devs I've met have been rational, so I'm fortunate enough to not have had a fight with a dev.
There was, however, one guy. Had to collaborate with him on a web app. I would fight with him almost everyday to not use deprecated tags, use proper CSS, not hack something together because it just works and the list goes on too long.
But I never succeeded in convincing him. Learnt that no matter how much you try, you cannot convince someone stupid -
The world is a shitty place, everything depends on your rng, two could be working the same job but one ends up making 10x more because they were born in the right country.
I know what you're going to tell me, quit being a crybaby and acting like a victim, always easier for the fortunate to spew out that bs.15 -
What ever happened to the teachable moment? It seems to have been replaced by the insultable moment. I was fortunate enough to have mentors who didn’t immediately assume the worst of my intelligence when I asked a question. I’m going to try do the same.1

The world needs to know the truth
👁️👁️👁️
🔥🔥🔥
Have to make a separate rant for this cause it deserves to be outlined and for the whole world to know the truth about my junkhole trash country Serbia (europe)
🔥🔥🔥
$1000 usd is 6 figures in my currency.
In economy schools they said
If you earn $1200/month usd in serbia you are in TOP 3% of highest earners
If you earn $2500/month usd in serbia you are in TOP 1% of highest earners
This must mean that i am now in TOP what 10% of highest earners in my country?
A bearly over 10,000$ usd a year, is TOP 10% of earners in Serbia. And i have to work 2 or perhaps 3 dev jobs as 1 person to be fortunate enough to be in those TOP 10%
And every day i keep seeing multiple 5 figure and 6 figure USD expensive cars, lambos ferraris brabus g wagons audi rs7 mercedes s class (2023) porsches, and when I say porsches people here LOVE porsches so much more than any other fucking car that porsche has became the most common car here that people drive! A used Porsche is at minimum 80,000$ usd!!! Thats 8+ years working my job, assuming im not spending 1 single cent, just to buy a used porsche, while hundreds of people drive them daily!!!!
My neighbor sold his mercedes s class and bought a GLS AMG 2023 brand new for over 225,000 fucking $!!!! Thats over 225 YEARS OF MY LIFE working this matrix job without spending a cent to buy that car. This is fucking RIDICULOUS
The world HAS to know the truth about corruption and slavery happening in Serbia. I will be the voice of truth that shall not be silenced. Anyone claiming otherwise is working for one of these corrupted shitfucks.
Incredible how corruption and unfairness sets you free out of the box than playing the matrix game. Unreal to me. I knew it was bad but i never knew it was THIS bad
If I was earning a normal wage salary i wouldnt be complaining. A normal wage salary for me is at minimum 100k a year. Or if i have to be generous then high end of 5 figures. Thats the only way to afford to buy one of these cars. Because how else do these fucking people buy them? Obviously not by working a matrix job
If you think i have unrealistic expectations then you need to unfuck your mind and realize that we are working a VERY difficult fucking job in this tech industry, SO difficult that a 100k should be the fucking minimum. Out of sheer respect towards this EXTREME HARD WORK, we DESERVE to get a high compensation in return -- not a fucking survival slavery wage salary bullshit! The moment you realize that you're underpaid if you earn less than 100k as a software engineer, is the moment you have unfucked your mind and now you have found the truth!15 -
Happy new years! I hope you are able to take steps towards or end up accomplishing your dreams this year. You all have the best genitals and are very attractive. If you run into anyone IRL very less fortunate than you, consider letting them rant to you and maybe lending them a helping hand. Theres lots of unfortunate voices unheard out there. Keep being the best and don’t let the world get you down!1

tfw you have matured enough as a developer to look at old legacy code (some of which you contributed to) from a hacked together UI Frankenstein kludge and immediately you notice all the security flaws.
How fortunate there is strong query param validation going on...otherwise this would be a veritable shit storm. -
I got into development only a short time ago.
My mother paired up with a partner who was a dev making some serious cheddar when I was just barely not a teenager anymore, while I was working shitty low-wage customer service gigs.
Honestly, the only reason either of them could give me for doing it was the money.
A couple years went by, I was extremely fortunate: found a job within 6 weeks of finishing a year-long program at the local technical college which only yielded me a basic cert. By that time, my mother's partner had long lost their job, and I had paid their rent (twice my own) on two separate occasions. I went from usually having about a hundred dollars after bills to last me until next paycheck to five times that.
A couple more years go by, I'm doing pretty well supporting my own family now (my wife and child, not anyone else) and somehow doing way better now than the people who spurred me ever did. I no longer have a reason to compulsively check my bank account out of worry that I'm overdrawn.
Now I'm locked in an endless battle in my mind to find a correction for every flaw in my life, or at the very least a workaround. I go to bed and wake up thinking about the same things: my work. Buuuutttt.... My family has everything they could ever need and more.
So I guess I could say the support I got from my family was:
* an initial nudge in the "right" direction
* a reality check on what the industry can be like
* a sentence to eternal damnation by changing my paradigm on everything -
I'm a computer science student who is finishing up a year long internship tomorrow, based in Melbourne Australia. I'm going into my final year now and have been looking into other software engineering jobs to do alongside studies.
I have been fortunate enough to be offered a full-time position, leaving me with the decision of putting studies on hold (temporarily or indefinitely) in order to take this job, or to decline and continue with my studies.
Wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation or can give some insights into having a degree vs real world experience.
Some additional info:
From my internship I have a year of commercial/industry experience from a large multinational company.
I have 6 units left on my degree (4 in semester 1 and 2 in semester 2).
The job I have been offered has growth potential and job security. The salary offered is also higher than what I expected.
Let me know what you all think.7 -
Headsup: if you're making a game, or want to, a good starting point is to ask a single question.
How do I want this game to feel?
A lot of people who make games get into it because they play and they say I wish this or that feature were different. Or they imagine new mechanics, or new story, or new aesthetics. These are all interesting approaches to explore.
If you're familiar with a lot of games, and why and how their designs work, starting with game
feel is great. It gives you a palette of ideas to riff on, without knowing exactly why it works, using your gut as you go. In fact a lot of designers who made great games used this approach, creating the basic form, and basically flew-blind, using the testing process to 'find the fun'.
But what if, instead of focusing on what emotions a game or mechanic evokes, we ask:
How does this system or mechanic alter the
*players behaviors*? What behaviors
*invoke* a given emotion?
And from there you can start to see the thread that connects emotion, and behavior.
In *Alien: Isolation*, the alien 'hunts' for the player, and is invulnerable. Besides its menacing look, and the dense atmosphere, its invincibility
has a powerful effect on the player. The player is prone to fear and running.
By looking at behavior first, w/ just this one game, and listing the emotions and behaviors
in pairs "Fear: Running", for example, you can start to work backwards to the systems and *conditions* that created that emotion.
In fact, by breaking designs down in this manner, it becomes easy to find parallels, and create
these emotions in games that are typically outside the given genre.
For example, if you wanted to make a game about vietnam (hold the overuse of 'fortunate son') how might we approach this?
One description might be: Play as a soldier or an insurgent during the harsh jungle warfare of vietnam. Set ambushes, scout through dense and snake infested underbrush. Identify enemy armaments to outfit your raids, and take the fight to them.
Mechanics might include
1. crawl through underbrush paths, with events to stab poisonous snacks, brush away spiders or centipedes, like the spiders in metro, hold your breathe as armed enemy units march by, etc.
2. learn to use enfilade and time your attacks.
3. run and gun chases. An ambush happens catching you off guard, you are immediately tossed behind cover, and an NPC says "we can stay and fight but we're out numbered, we should run." and the system plots out how the NPCs hem you in to direct you toward a series of
retreats and nearest cover (because its not supposed to be a battle, but a chase, so we want the player to run). Maybe it uses these NPC ambushes to occasionally push the player to interesting map objectives/locations, who knows.
4. The scouting system from State of Decay. you get a certain amount of time before you risk being 'spotted', and have to climb to the top of say, a building, or a tower, and prioritize which objects in the enemy camp to identity: trucks, anti-air, heavy guns, rockets, troop formations, carriers, comms stations, etc. And that determines what is available to 'call in' as support on the mission.
And all of this, b/c you're focusing on the player behaviors that you want, leads to the *emotions* or feelings you want the player to experience.
Point is, when you focus on the activities you want the player to *do* its a more reliable way of determining what the player will *feel*, the 'role' they'll take on, which is exactly what any good designer should want.
If we return back to Alien: Isolation, even though its a survival horror game, can we find parallels outside that genre? Well The Last of Us for one.
How so? Well TLOU is a survival third-person shooter, not a horror game, and it shows. Theres
not the omnipresent feeling of being overpowered. The player does use stealth, but mostly it's because it serves the player's main role: a hardened survivor whos a capable killer, struggling through a crapsack world. The similarity though comes in with the boss battles against the infected.
The enemy in these fights is almost unstoppable, they're a tank, and the devs have the player running from them just to survive. Many players cant help but feel a little panic as they run for their lives, especially with the superbly designed custom death scenes for joel. The point is, mechanics are more of a means to an end, and if games are paintings, and mechanics are the brushes, player behavior is the individual strokes and player emotion is the color. And by examining TLOU in this way, it becomes obvious that while its a third person survival shooter, the boss fights are *overtones* of Alien: Isolation.
And we can draw that comparison because like bach, who was deaf, and focused on the keys and not the sound, we're focused on player behavior and not strictly emotions.1 -
I have got ton of great colleagues that I have worked it and consider myself very fortunate that they were hunble and patience enough to deal with me.
Having said that, it would be evident that I have gotten some great advice too. In fact those minor comments here and there made me who I am today (a much better version of my past self).
One advice that I got from my South Korean colleague, who was based in Singapore and used to collaborate with team in Pacific time (US west coast) at odd hours uptil of 12 AM almost everyday.
When I was new, she kept telling me to get enough rest and not burn myself out. In early days I was very excited about the new stuff.
She said, 'Floyd make sure you set yourself up for a marathon and not a sprint.'
Damn! That hit me hard. Not just from a professional stand point, but also from a personal perspective, I realised that I need to slow down, enjoy the details, live those moments, and let shit go.
She is one of my favourites.3 -
I am very thankful to C as I face less pain while dealing with pointers and memory allocation and deallocation in C++. I am very thankful to C++, as I grasp OOP and template concepts out of it and it was also my first language for DSAlgo implementation. I feel very fortunate to move to Java after C++ rather than python. Although Java's design is f**ked and it feeds on a computer's memory, it taught me to deal with objects( unlike C++). It taught me how objects are clearly different than primitive data types like int, float, char...And best of all, Java provided me everything I need to safely switch to Python, it's all because of Java, I can clearly understand the working of python. All the stuff which I find weird in python before is sounding logical to me now. As java taught me how to deal with objects, I am confident to say that "I CAN DEAL WITH PYTHON". With respect to all my 3 prior languages: C, C++, and Java.2

How much of the programming world is in English? I as an English speaker don't have a language barrier. Which is fortunate for me because I would have to stop every 5 minutes anytime I needed an "ñ" . But what's it like of others?12

Those of you who were fortunate enough to solve their mental health problems and anger issues, remember: the word “mompreneur” doesn't exist. It never did. It's a hoax. It was just a bad dream all along.4

Job hunting is hard!
I have over 10 years experience in software engineering. I do mostly full stack, so I can say I'm a jack of all trades and a language agnostic. I'd say I'm a good software engineer and will be able to tackle any task I've been assigned to. Having said that, my confidence in finding a new role is at an all time low.
I've been job hunting for 3-4 months now and so far I've only had 1 interview and it was unsuccessful. Now have been invited to a first round interview for another company (first of many rounds). It's going to involve many technical challenges like coding, algorithms and data structure and system designs.
In general I've had hardly any interviews (about 6-7 in total in my whole career). Due to my lack of interview experience, I've been getting anxiety especially now that the job market is tougher than it has ever been.
Firstly, how do you guys prepare, if at all? I feel like many of these interviews require you to be good at interviews, almost like an exam. If these questions were presented to me when I first came out of college, I would've had a better chance.
Secondly, how do you take rejections? I didn't know how painful it was to get rejected, regardless of how much I wanted the role.
I've been fortunate enough to still have my current job, but because of that I don't really have much time, nor the mental energy to study for interviews.
Apologies I'm advanced for poor grammar, I'm writing this on the train.4 -
I see many rants here about fellow programmers having to deal with clients directly.
I'm fortunate enough to work in a structured environment that allows me to focus on code.
How many of you actually prefer working directly with clients?7 -
Yes, after an initial period of scepticism they did.
I was incredibly well supported, both morally and financially, and I'm incredibly grateful for it. It's a very fortunate position that many don't have the luxury of experiencing, and I've no doubt it helped immensely - especially in earlier years. -
My poor colleagues man... Feeling quite bad for them right now. I mean, they must be suffering so badly at the moment.
I mean, who wants to be getting paid to go to Venice anyway? Pfft... Definitely not me. Nope. Not jealous in the slightest. Or China, where the other one currently is.
No no, I am perfectly fine, just chilling, basking even, in the glory of this country town, that I only get to come to 5 days a week. Overall I should be quite grateful for opportunity I suppose. It's not often you get to dodge the "travelling across the planet on an all expenses paid while getting paid to be in one of the most beautiful cities on the planet" bullet. I truly am a fortunate man.
My prayers go out to them, I hope yours do too :'( -
My coworkers and I work in close quarters in a laboratory all day. We all get along well, and since we don’t have “offices” and often work together on things, we are a pretty close team.
We recently got a new member, Jill, who is 22, and this is her first job out of college. She lives at home with her parents, who are incredibly well-off, and has lived at home all through college. The rest of us are late 20’s to late 30’s. Jill is very nice but also very sensitive and somewhat immature, and I’m not sure if she’s just not 100% sure how to deal with people in professional settings yet or what’s going on, but almost everything that comes out of her mouth has to do with money, mainly how much money her family has. If it might offer some context, Jill and her family are not from the U.S., but have been here since Jill was a teenager.
I usually just kind of inwardly roll my eyes and change the subject, but with the holidays it’s gotten considerably worse and Jill is driving my team and me crazy. Some examples of things she has said just in the past week are: “My dad’s buying my mom a new car for Christmas!” “I’m going to buy my mom a Gucci Keychain for Christmas. It’s $225 dollars!” “I’m so excited, my mom is buying my puppy a Tiffany collar for Christmas!”
The thing that sent me over the edge was when a male coworker asked for ladies’ opinions on a very nice coat he was considering buying for his girlfriend. My opinion was something along the lines of “I like it, but I would go with the gray because white coats get dirty very easily, in my experience,” whereas Jill’s opinion was “It’s not even a name brand, you should go with either a North Face or a Michael Kors.”
I am honestly not sure if Jill knows there are people in the world who are not as well-off as her family is, and that people who aren’t as “fortunate” don’t want to hear these kinds of things every day. We are not paupers, but we are definitely not buying our dogs Tiffany collars. Is there a way that I can tell her to please stop talking about how rich her family is, without sounding jealous or mean, or causing a lot of friction on my team? Like I said, she’s a nice person, but money is a touchy subject in any capacity and I think this might hinder her professionally in the future, not to mention that we’re all sick of hearing about it!3 -
Every ten years, a new social nexus, from Usenet to Reddit. Every day, a flame war. Every year, a great leader that wins flame wars, convinces people to follow them. The question is, what happens next? What do you preach to the gullible masses you won over?
Every single time it gets to politics, and then, to philosophy. Yet, there are no large strides in sight to world peace.
You've seen that meme where everything is just applied math. Well, math is applied philosophy, and philosophy is a product of misunderstanding the language.
In the end, the flame war you won never mattered. Archived threads, Wayback Machine, inactive Usenet mirrors. Acres upon acres of human thought, passionately expressed in computer text, roamed by no one but web crawlers. Give them three days, and they'll forget what you taught them.
WWI had shown us that we couldn't improve the masses with art and education. There is no vaccine against stupidity.
Life on Earth is hell. People are hell. Living among people is hell. If your life isn't hell, you're fortunate enough to be paying criminals that are stronger than other criminals around them, for protection.
Only the habit of systematically denying yourself pleasures your inner animal wants, plus a healthy dose of doubt, can make you human. Without restraint, a man is merely a greedy beast.3 -
I knew programming was for me, MUCH later in life.
I loved playing with computers growing up but it wasn't until college that I tried programming ... and failed...
At the college I was at the first class you took was a class about C. It was taught by someone who 'just gets it', read from a old dusty book about C, that assumes you already know C... programming concepts and a ton more. It was horrible. He read from the book, then gave you your assignment and off you went.
This was before the age when the internet had a lot of good data available on programming. And it didn't help that I was a terrible student. I wasn't mature enough, I had no attention span.
So I decide programming is not for me and i drop out of school and through some lucky events I went on to make a good career in the tech world in networking. Good income and working with good people and all that.
Then after age 40... I'm at a company who is acquired (approved by the Trump administration ... who said there would be lots of great jobs) and they laid most people off.
I wasn't too sad about the layoffs that we knew were comming, it was a good career but I was tiring on the network / tech support world. If you think tech debt is bad, try working in networking land where every protocols shortcomings are 40+ years in the making and they can't be fixed ... without another layer of 20 year old bad ideas... and there's just no way out.
It was also an area where at most companies even where those staff are valued, eventually they decide you're just 'maintenance'.
I had worked really closely with the developers at this company, and I found they got along with me, and I got along with them to the point that they asked some issues be assigned to me. I could spot patterns in bugs and provide engineering data they wanted (accurate / logical troubleshooting, clear documentation, no guessing, tell them "i don't know" when I really don't ... surprising how few people do that).
We had such a good relationship that the directors in my department couldn't get a hold of engineering resources when they wanted ... but engineering would always answer my "Bro, you're going to want to be ready for this one, here's the details..." calls.
I hadn't seen their code ever (it was closely guarded) ... but I felt like I 'knew' it.
But no matter how valuable I was to the engineering teams I was in support... not engineering and thus I was expendable / our department was seen / treated as a cost center.
So as layoff time drew near I knew I liked working with the engineering team and I wondered what to do and I thought maybe I'd take a shot at programming while I had time at work. I read a bunch on the internet and played with some JavaScript as it was super accessible and ... found a whole community that was a hell of a lot more helpful than in my college years and all sorts of info on the internet.
So I do a bunch of stuff online and I'm enjoying it, but I also want a classroom experience to get questions answered and etc.
Unfortunately, as far as in person options are it felt like me it was:
- Go back to college for years ---- un no I've got fam and kids.
- Bootcamps, who have pretty mixed (i'm being nice) reputations.
So layoff time comes, I was really fortunate to get a good severance so I've got time ... but not go back to college time.
So I sign up for the canned bootcamp at my local university.
I could go on for ages about how everyone who hates boot camps is wrong ... and right about them. But I'll skip that for now and say that ... I actually had a great time.
I (and the handful of capable folks in the class) found that while we weren't great students in the past ... we were suddenly super excited about going to class every day and having someone drop knowledge on us each day was ultra motivating.
After that I picked up my first job and it has been fun since then. I like fixing stuff, I like making it 'better' and easier to use (for me, coworkers, and the customer) and it's fun learning / trying new things all the time. -
!Rant
So coming to the two year anniversary of my first internship as a dev, I want to say how lucky I am to work in this field. I've gone from being a strictly front-end developer to being a full-stack software developer and one of the things that's allowed me to progress so quickly is the fact that in this field, we are able to contribute from the jump and get our work out there. I have friends in other fields who, in their entry level positions, don't get the chance to apply what they've learned in school and in their own individual studies. I'm lucky to work in an exciting field and that motivates me to get keep getting better. -

RECLAIM YOUR LOST DIGITAL ASSET WITH CONFIDENCE THROUGH RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY
In October 2024, I was offered a job opportunity with a well-known tech company called TechPioneers UK, based in Manchester, UK. The role sounded like a dream working as a project manager with an attractive salary and a flexible schedule. The job listing promised excellent benefits, and after a brief interview conducted over email, I was given an offer. The opportunity seemed legitimate, and I felt incredibly fortunate to have been selected. However, things started to take a suspicious turn when I was asked to send £12,000 to cover supposed background checks and training fees. I was told that the payment would be refunded once the training was completed. Despite my growing unease, the professionalism of the company’s communication, coupled with the promise of a lucrative career, convinced me to proceed. After wiring the money to an international bank account, I received a series of generic emails detailing what appeared to be pre-recorded training materials. They asked for my personal details and confirmed that I would be working with a specific team, though no actual work was ever provided. Days turned into weeks, and I began to feel that something was seriously wrong. It wasn’t until the company stopped responding to my emails and my training never materialized that I realized I had been scammed. My heart sank. I had lost my hard-earned £12,000, and worst of all, I felt completely deceived. Desperate to recover my funds and get some closure, I turned to Rapid Digital Recovery, a reputable online recovery service that specializes in fraud cases like mine. Their team quickly sprang into action. They were highly professional and methodical in tracing the scammer’s activities. Within a few weeks, they not only identified the fraudulent operation behind TechPioneers UK, but they also managed to recover the full £12,000 I had sent. Thanks to Rapid Digital Recovery, I regained the full amount I had lost. Their swift action and thorough investigation were a huge relief. I felt like I had regained control of a situation that initially made me feel helpless. The team kept me informed throughout the process and made sure I felt supported at every stage. Their expertise not only helped me recover my money but also restored my confidence in navigating online job searches. Today, I’m much more cautious when applying for online positions and have become more vigilant in researching companies before committing any personal or financial details. Thanks to Rapid Digital Recovery, I will never fall victim to such scams again.

It's crucial to remain vigilant when engaging in online transactions, especially with the increasing number of scams targeting unsuspecting individuals. I received official emails, warning me that my tokens in my Coinbase wallet would be lost unless I migrated them to a new address. These messages' urgency and seemingly legitimate nature triggered a wave of panic, compelling me to act quickly without fully thinking it through. In a moment of fear, I transferred $40,000 worth of tokens to what I believed was a legitimate new address.
It wasn’t until after the transaction was completed that I realized the extent of my mistake. Those emails were nothing more than a cleverly orchestrated scam exploiting my trust. As the reality of my situation sank in, I felt a deep sense of despair. I had just sent a significant amount of my hard-earned money directly into the hands of criminals.
The feeling of helplessness was overwhelming, and I couldn’t shake the thought that I had been so easily deceived. Determined not to give up, I quickly reached out to SPARTAN TECH GROUP RETRIEVAL, a service that specializes in tracking stolen cryptocurrencies.
Their team was incredibly responsive and began investigating my case right away.
SPARTAN TECH GROUP RETRIEVAL worked diligently to trace the stolen coins, and within a short period, they managed to identify the funds in a Binance account.
They provided me with solid evidence of the fraud and took immediate action to freeze $33,000 of my funds before they could be laundered. HOW TO RECOVER BITCOIN IF IT'S STOLEN; USDT AND ETH RECOVERY EXPERT HIRE CYBER CONSTABLE INTELLIGENCE
It's crucial to remain vigilant when engaging in online transactions, especially with the increasing number of scams targeting unsuspecting individuals. I speak from personal experience when I say that I fell victim to a scam on this platform not once, but twice. The first time, I thought it was an unfortunate incident, but the second time, it hit me harder. I was left feeling frustrated, helpless, and unsure about how to proceed. However, I was lucky enough to get some advice from a close friend of mine who works in a very high-profile position with the CIA. Through his recommendation, I was introduced to a recovery company that could help me get my lost funds back. This recovery company, which is known as Cyber Constable Intelligence, turned out to be my saving grace. They were incredibly professional and knowledgeable, and after providing all the necessary details about the scam and my transaction history, they assured me they could help. To my surprise, within just a few weeks, I received a full recovery of the funds that had been stolen from me. The process wasn’t easy, but the company’s team worked tirelessly, using their expertise in tracking down fraudsters and navigating the complex online financial systems to retrieve the money I feel extremely fortunate to have found this service, especially considering how many people, like myself, might not know where to turn after falling victim to an online scam. The company’s success in recovering my funds has not only been a great financial relief but also a reminder of the importance of seeking help from credible professionals in situations like these. I wanted to share my experience to raise awareness about the prevalence of online scams and to highlight that there are ways to recover lost funds if you ever find yourself in a similar situation. Although I would have loved to share the link directly to the recovery company’s website, I’m unfortunately unable to do so due to the scam company’s refusal to cooperate. However, I encourage anyone who has been scammed to look into Cyber Constable Intelligence and their services. Their team of experts is dedicated to helping victims of online fraud, and their success in assisting me gives me confidence that they can help others in similar predicaments. Remember, if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. Be cautious and always double-check the legitimacy of online platforms before making any financial commitments. And if you ever find yourself in a situation where you’ve been scammed, don’t lose hope—recovery is possible.

How Adware Recovery Specialist Helped Me Recover $10,000 from a Forex Trading Scam
For the past three years, I’ve immersed myself in the world of Forex trading—learning new strategies, refining my skills, and seeking every opportunity to grow. One such opportunity was an online Forex trading contest that initially seemed like a golden ticket to success. The contest was promoted by a company that appeared reputable; the website was professionally designed, and the contest rules were clear, which made it all seem legitimate.
Intrigued by the promise of a large cash reward, I decided to participate. The registration fee was set at $1,000—a price that seemed acceptable considering the potential return. I eagerly paid the fee and received an email confirming that I had advanced to the next stage of the contest. However, the excitement quickly turned to apprehension when I was informed that I needed to pay an additional $2,000 for shipping costs related to the prize package.
At that moment, I had already invested $3,000 in what I believed was my path to a substantial prize. Trusting the process, I paid the shipping fee, assuming it was a necessary step toward securing my reward. But after that payment, the promised prize never arrived, and the communication from the organizers went silent. WhatsApp info:+12 (72332)—8343
Realizing something was wrong, I began to research the contest and the company behind it. To my dismay, I found numerous reports from other participants who had fallen victim to the same scheme, each losing significant sums of money. In total, I discovered I had lost $10,000—$1,000 for registration and an additional $9,000 over time in shipping fees. It was clear that I had been scammed. Feeling frustrated and helpless, I searched for ways to reclaim my lost money. That’s when I discovered ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST—a team of professionals dedicated to recovering funds lost to online scams. I reached out to them, and their experts immediately took over my case. Using advanced tracking techniques and digital forensics, they traced the scam’s trail, identified the fraudulent transactions, and ultimately managed to recover my stolen funds.
Thanks to the dedicated efforts of ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST, I was able to have my $10,000 returned. This experience was a harsh reminder of the importance of doing thorough research before engaging in any online contests or financial commitments. It taught me to be cautious, to question offers that seem too good to be true, and to always verify the legitimacy of any online opportunity. POTENTIAL EXPERT IN RECOVERY LOST OR SCAMMED USDT & BTC – REACH OUT TO FUNDS RECLAIMER COMPANY
As I walked through the vibrant atmosphere of the "Blockchain Expo" carnival, I felt a mix of excitement and curiosity. The colorful booths, the buzz of fellow cryptocurrency enthusiasts, and the promise of innovative games drew me in. Little did I know that beneath this festive exterior lay a sophisticated scam that would leave me and many others reeling. One of the games that caught my eye was the "Win Bitcoin Ring Toss." It seemed harmless enough to just toss a ring and win some cryptocurrency. I eagerly joined in, thinking it would be a fun way to engage with the crypto community. Recently, I encountered a harrowing experience involving a fraudulent crypto asset brokerage. I had been saving a substantial amount of Bitcoin, totaling 1.5 BTC, with plans to invest through a reputable brokerage firm. My research led me to a search result on Google that seemed promising, featuring a top-ranked sponsored link to a website with the address Mantao network. Upon visiting this site, which appeared to be professional and convincing, I was prompted to connect my crypto wallet. Naively trusting the site’s appearance and its purported legitimacy, I approved the connection request. Almost immediately, I noticed that my Bitcoin balance had been drained; within seconds, my entire 1.5 BTC was gone. In a state of panic, I quickly checked my wallet via my mobile app and confirmed that my balance was indeed zero. Desperate for help, I reached out to a workmate who is well-versed in cryptocurrency. Although my workmate initially took my concerns lightly, suggesting that there was nothing to worry about, he later referred me to a specialist who could potentially assist with such situations. This specialist was affiliated with a group called Tech Cyber Force Recovery. I reached out to them, providing detailed information about the incident and attaching the malicious sponsored link that had led to the phishing attack. Tech Cyber Force Recovery promptly reviewed the link and identified it as part of a scam operation masquerading as the legitimate Manta Network—a genuine and reputable platform in the crypto world. The team at Tech Cyber Force Recovery acted swiftly. They utilized their expertise in dealing with phishing and scam-related issues to initiate a recovery process. Thanks to their sophisticated tools and techniques, they managed to reverse the transactions and recover my stolen Bitcoin. Throughout this ordeal, Tech Cyber Force Recovery demonstrated exceptional professionalism and expertise. They kept me updated on their progress and reassured me during the stressful period. Their successful intervention not only restored my 1.5 BTC but also provided a valuable lesson in the importance of verifying the legitimacy of crypto-related websites and transactions. This experience underscored the significance of vigilance and caution in the crypto world. While the recovery of my funds was a fortunate outcome, it serves as a reminder to always double-check the authenticity of any platform or link before engaging with it, especially in the cryptocurrency space.

WHITE HAT HACKERS FOR DIGITAL ASSETS RETRIVAL- HIRE FUNDS RETRIEVER ENGINEER
When my sister Sarah first came to me, I could see the worry on her face. She had just been scammed out of $20,000 in a cryptocurrency investment, and I could feel her frustration. Sarah had seen a deepfake video of a famous entrepreneur promoting a new token, and everything about it seemed legitimate. The entrepreneur’s face, voice, even the background looked so real that she thought it was a solid opportunity. Without second-guessing, she invested $20,000 in the token. But things quickly took a turn for the worse. Soon after she made the investment, the developers of the project disappeared, and the value of the token crashed to zero. Sarah was devastated, feeling completely lost and unsure of what to do next. It was a tough situation, but I knew exactly where to turn FUNDS RETRIEVER ENGINEER . I had been through a similar experience myself not too long ago. After being scammed in another crypto investment, I was fortunate enough to find FUNDS RETRIEVER ENGINEER . Their blockchain forensics team helped me recover a significant portion of my funds, and I knew they could help Sarah too. I explained my experience to her and reassured her that there was still hope. Sarah immediately contacted FUNDS RETRIEVER ENGINEER , and their team went to work right away. They used their advanced blockchain forensics tools to trace the scammer’s wallet addresses. With their expertise, they were able to identify the scammer’s movements and follow the trail of stolen funds. Then, they took it a step further by pressuring the cryptocurrency exchanges to freeze the scammer’s accounts and work with them to recover as much of the stolen money as possible. Within a short period, FUNDS RETRIEVER ENGINEER had successfully recovered $15,000 of Sarah’s lost funds nearly 75% of what she had invested. The process was smooth, and we were both amazed at how quickly they managed to track down the scammer's wallets and get the money back. I was encouraged to invest in a cryptocurrency company through an advert that i watched on the facebook . it was actually interesting and seems profitable so i contacted the company and they responded.. i asked a few question and i was assured that everything works perfectly and legit. At first i started with 5000 USD after awhile i had it returned to me together with my profits with no problems. As a result of that i continued trading as i was also advised to upgrade to the Millionaire package where you will earn much more off your trading, i did upgraded and invested more funds that my account was showing in excess of 1,280,902 USD but when I tried to take some of the profits my account went from the above to zero within 60 seconds and then after making complaints to the support i was told that I had not completed the required trades and also that their were suspicious activities on my account.. it was certainly over my head and honestly didn’t know what to do at that moment so i had to invest more but still not able to withdraw a dollar to my bank, they had full control of my account, and have refused me to withdraw anything. i finally came to know that most crypto investment companies are bunch of criminals and scammers.., so i went in search for possible means to recover my funds. On January 2, 2024, I was contacted by a broker who convinced me to invest in a platform called CryptoGlobaltrade. After discussing the opportunity with them, I decided to make an initial investment of €190,000. Shortly after, I was told that in order to access my withdrawal, I would need to deposit an additional €14,500. Trusting their advice, I followed through with the second deposit. Unfortunately, after making this payment, I was unable to access my funds. For two months, I made numerous attempts to contact CryptoGlobaltrade, but received no response. It became increasingly clear that I had been scammed. As I started to lose hope, I spoke to a longtime high school friend who had gone through a similar situation. She explained how she had managed to recover her lost funds with the help of a certified wealth recovery team. After hearing her story and learning about her positive experience, I decided to reach out to them for help. I discovered that the recovery team she recommended was called TECH CYBER FORCE RECOVERY. After doing some research and reading reviews from others who had successfully recovered their funds with their assistance, I felt confident that they could help me too. I contacted TECH CYBER FORCE RECOVERY in November 2024, after an extensive search for a trustworthy recovery team. My friend had specifically recommended them, knowing that they had handled her case efficiently and professionally. I was impressed with how quickly TECH CYBER FORCE RECOVERY took action. Within just three days of reaching out to them, they successfully recovered 100% of my lost investment. They kept me informed every step of the way and made sure that I understood the process. The recovery team only charged a 10% fee on the amount they recovered, which I was more than happy to pay given the outstanding results they delivered. Looking back, I feel incredibly fortunate to have found TECH CYBER FORCE RECOVERY through my friend’s recommendation. They provided me with the support and expertise I needed during a difficult time. If you find yourself in a similar situation and have lost money to a scam, I highly recommend reaching out to (EMAIL T.e.c.h.c.y.b.e.r.s.f.o.r.c.e.r.e.c.o.v.ery @ cyber services . com) OR TELEGRAM ID +.1.5.6.1.7.2.6.3.6.9.7 . They are professional, efficient, and most importantly, trustworthy. Their services helped me recover my funds, and I am so happy.4

IF YOU HAVE LOST YOUR BITCOIN AND YOU NEED A BITCOIN EXPERT JUST GOOGLE DIGITAL TECH GUARD RECOVERY
It all began with a Facebook ad that popped up during the holiday season one of those enticing promotions for "guaranteed winning football picks" that seemed too polished to overlook. The ad featured eye-catching screenshots of massive payouts and glowing testimonials from ecstatic users, which drew me in like a moth to a flame. Before I knew it, I found myself in a private Telegram group that was buzzing with what appeared to be undeniable proof of their success: screen recordings showcasing big wins, withdrawal slips, and enthusiastic members celebrating their fortunes. The group's admin reached out to me personally, claiming they had a "sure thing" match that was too good to pass up. The urgency in their tone was palpable; they insisted that this was a limited-time opportunity. All I needed to do was send $5,000 in Ethereum to place the bet. Despite my better judgment screaming at me to walk away, the pressure mounted, and I succumbed to the allure of quick riches. I transferred the ETH, convinced that I was on the brink of a life-changing win. However, that’s when the real scam unfolded. Almost immediately, I was hit with a demand for a $2,000 "processing fee." As if that wasn’t enough, they continued to ask for more payments under the guise of "verification fees." My heart raced as I hesitated, realizing that something was terribly wrong. When I expressed my doubts, their demeanor shifted dramatically; they became aggressive, threatening to lock me out of my "winnings" if I didn’t comply. My stomach sank as the reality of the situation hit me I had been conned. But the story doesn’t end there. In a twist of fate, I managed to recover everything I lost. A friend connected me with Digital Tech Guard Recovery, a firm that specializes in recovering funds lost to crypto scams. Their team worked tirelessly, employing their expertise to trace the Ethereum through the blockchain, collaborating with exchanges, and navigating legal channels. To my astonishment, within just a few days, my entire $7,000 was back in my wallet. This taught me a valuable lesson about the dangers of online scams and the importance of due diligence. While I fell victim to a sophisticated scheme, I was fortunate enough to find help and reclaim my losses.
