Search - "5 stars"
Maybe aliens haven't visited our solar system because we have one star...they would probably be looking for systems with 4 or 5 stars rating.4
- Free app:
"5 stars - OMG this app is awesome!!!"
- Add new feature with In-app purchase:
"1 star - App sucks balls. Why we must pay? Make free and I rate 5 stars"
I call them The Rating Terrorists.8
FOR FUCK SAKE DO PEOPLE THINK BEFORE POSTING!!!
I got a 3 star review on my app and the user said if I implement feature x he will give me 5 stars, what is even more funny is he is requesting it for free!!
I hate this fucked up miserable world -.-28
Aint a rant though
But I woke up today and the first thing I saw was my first Android app reaching 5 digits (10017) downloads figure with 4.73 stars. :D
Couldnt be happier.11
"1 star for now. Will give 5 stars if it can make me coffee, bring me breakfast in bed and drive me to work."
It's a digital assistant not a literal butler you troll!5
You developed a completly free and open source app that was designed to do A, and it does exactly what it should.
Review from an user (2 stars out of 5):
"I tried it and it just does A, I would prefer it did B.
Thank you, but I will look for a better option. Keep working, you have a lot of potential."
Best App Review ever:
"Awesome app but please remove the ads, then i will give you 5 Stars"
So basicly you are saying the developers should not make any money of the app they spend multiple hours making? Well lets remove the ads then i guess 😤😤12
The other day I got a 2-star rating on my Android App. The review mentioned a lacking feature (which was planned for v2.0). Needless to say I was up until 2AM releasing v2.0. I replied to his review, asking him to checkout the release.
He updated the review to 5-stars. This might be the simplest and greatest dev/client interaction that's ever occurred.7
Not really a rant but I'm just happy so I must share it.
Two days ago I uploaded a new project on github and today when I woke up I saw it on github trending! Only the C# section though, but still.
Feels weird as I'm usually not upload anything and the ones I have usually sit around 5-20 stars forever.3
Props to the devs who made this app, literally does nothing but still have 1 million dowloads and tons of 5 stars.6
I recently received a 1 star review in the App Store. I have answered him twice to ask about which issues he had and what features were missing to him.
He responded really aggressively by posting this:
I purchased this app for my Sonos and found it very simple for an app I had to pay for. I gave it a 1 star and wrote why. Since then the designer has contacted me twice complaining about my review. Sorry, but I am entitled to my opinion and I want you to stop harrassing me because I think your app is basic and doesn't always work right.
DO NOT WRITE ME AGAIN. Suck it up and let me have my own opinion for what I paid for. If you don't like it, make the app free in exchange for 5 ego stars.7
Love my android. But oh my fucking stars in a pickle jar... I just did a damn software update. The fuck you mean I have one??? Wasn't even 5 minutes ago. Why are you making me do this???15
1) Create UI library for iOS and Android with 5000+ stars on GitHub
2) Get noticed by Apple for library and interview and work there
3) Get married to my lovely girlfriend
4) Have kids
5) Fuck all yo truck stops and yo biznatch lisbetan asses1
Regarding the Area 51 news. These guys are really stupid. They’ll deservedly got shot soon as they come close enough to the fence, and even if they get over, then what??
Anyone who know anything, knows that you need to spawn a jet pack, get to the second hanger ASAP, and jump in the Rhino. They can’t touch you after that, even with 5 stars!!7
> be me
> bored at work
> browse LinkedIn
> found a shitty company with 2/5 stars on glassdoor.
> apply to Laraverl + front-end interview.
> got a call for a telephonic interview scheduled 2 days from now
I plan to crash and burn the interview like a boss and say NO to the job!42
Client: "I cant logging me in"
Me: "Ok do you know your username? "
Client: "yes, off course"
Me:"ok, which password do you use?"
client: "I looked to my colleague... 5 stars"
When someone post a review (3 stars out of 5) where asks to make the app/game free so the developer will get even more downloads, he will give him 5 stars instead of 3, and everyone will be happier...3
This entire google playstore review system is annoying and sometimes useless. Before you download something, you tend to check for the reviews. It's just the way it is. If you see something negative, you tend to have second thoughts of proceeding to download. These muggles think as if they were entitled with anything. "3 stars. I would give you 5 stars IF..." Shut the fuck up, man. No one gives a shit! So you wouldn't give 5 stars because the feature that only you want is not there?2

Slothful cunt, you don't deserve these 7 stars
>> please help me understand this because im going insane <<
I texted a girl to review my app on google play store
She was like yeah sure
She played the game and said it was cool, told me feedback etc
We chatted about it for a bit
I asked her if she could rate it 5 stars and leave a review and thats it....
She said sure what do u want me to write hahaha
I said anything just something positive
She said oh god fine wait
8 minutes of awkward silence.
8 minutes later i asked her if shes done
5 minutes later she said "Ys hahah"
1 minute later i receive this attached notification that someone had actually left a review.
Within 30 seconds i open it and google play tells me this review has been deleted.
I ask her could you send me a screenshot of your review.
Hours passed by, no answer.
I asked her what happened now, why did you delete your review?
Hours and hours passed by... She doesn't want to enter my message but she is actively texting other people..... I know this because on Snapchat there are points below your name, each time you send or receive 1 message you get +1 point. Last time she sent me that "Ys hahah" was at 42576 points, and now shes at 42594.
I am extremely pissed off about people like this. I actually want to stress about this but i no longer have even energy. Can someone please help me understand why...22
So I was thinking whenever to run a Kanban-Board style ala Trello subdomain for the people on my site that are helping me with bug hunting and such and I came up with this article about this project that got 6k Stars in Github in 5 days https://github.com/thedaviddias/..., what is this project about? " The perfect Front-End Checklist for modern websites and meticulous developers "
Here is the article for those wishing to read more about it https://medium.freecodecamp.org/how...1
Working in an expanding business is mostly fun, can be kind of challenging (for those who don't like to step in and do what's needed). One thing in particular you need to do a lot - is interviews. Lot's of them.
There are alsways two sides of the coin, for sure. But, just a little tip/hint to everyone looking for a job - please, please, please make sure your CV and letter at least makes sense for the position you're trying to get.
This (screenshot) is just one example of things in a CV which really makes me want to shout and kick people out.
It's part of the front page of a CV, for someone who is looking for a position as front-end developer / UX specialist. This person claims to be very interested in UX, and has done wome work already in this field.
Can ANYONE explain to med WHAT THE F*CK this actually means?
1) How many stars can a row have? 10, 6, 8?
2) What does it mean to have 4 starss in PHP knowledge? What's lacking to get 5?
3) What's the scale based on, at all?
And you want me to hire to to do UX of loyalty communication (e-mail, mobile apps, websites/landing pages) for our customers - who in turn have millions of customers/prospects?!?
ARE YOU F*CKING KIDDING ME?
If you can't even make a visualization of your _own_ knowledge which can be interpreted into some sort of competence matrix, but you just use something you think looks cool... Damn, you could at least have tried.1
I just came across this strategy for the rate us section to avoid the lower ratings on the store.
When you click on rate us. It initially presents you with a 5 star with none filled up.
If you click on stars 1 to 3 then a feedback box pops up asking why I'm giving them less stars. Still letting to change them to 5 stars.
If I click on 4 or 5 stars then the app directly takes you to the play store listing where I need to press the 5 star again.
What do you think about this strategy?. Is it worth implementing??4
