26 years ago Linus Torvalds sent out this message to the comp.os.minx newsgroup.
Hello everybody out there using minix -
I’m doing a (free) operating system (just a hobby, won’t be big and
professional like gnu) for 386(486) AT clones. This has been brewing
since april, and is starting to get ready. I’d like any feedback on
things people like/dislike in minix, as my OS resembles it somewhat
(same physical layout of the file-system (due to practical reasons)
among other things).
I’ve currently ported bash(1.08) and gcc(1.40), and things seem to work.
This implies that I’ll get something practical within a few months, and
I’d like to know what features most people would want. Any suggestions
are welcome, but I won’t promise I’ll implement them :-)
- Linus
PS. Yes — it’s free of any minix code, and it has a multi-threaded fs.
It is NOT protable (uses 386 task switching etc), and it probably never
will support anything other than AT-harddisks, as that’s all I have :-(.
Fast forward to today and Linux has more than 12 000 contributors from over 1300 companies that contribute to the Linux kernel.
The Linux Foundation released a fairly detailed progress report, including an infographic which I was tempted to include here but you can view it in it’s original context here.
While you’re over there, remember you can be a sponsor of the Linux Foundation too.
Happy Birthday Linux and a giant thanks to not only Linus but every single one of the contributors that have taken part of it over the years.5 -
Client: “Hey this thing isn’t working correctly.”
Me: “Hmm, looks like there was a bug in the last update. The team and I are going to work on a fix. In the meantime here’s a tool to help you get what you need.”
Client:”Yay!”
*A little while later*
Same Client:”Hey this thing isn’t working.”
Me:”Hey, yeah, it’s the same thing. That bug I told you about? Yeah, we’re still working on it. We’ll let you know when it’s finished I promise but we’re trying to fix it without introducing more bugs.”
Client:”Ok sounds good.”
*A little while later*
Same Client:”Hey this thing isn’t working.”
Me:”Bro...we just went over this...”
*A little while later*
Same Client:”Hey seems like there’s a bug in our system that was found by -insert random coworker’s name here-. Are we looking into to this?”
Me:”Wtf dude.”
*A little while later*
Same Client:”Hey this thing isn’t working.”

I just feel that I have to get this of my chest, because this have really me and my family really negative.
It have destroyed my will to be happy, sort of.
Well, my father have some kind of control behaviour. My whole life he has been angry on stuff that does not really matter
and I have always been the one that get all the shit - because I am the oldest. I was never allowed (maybee 3-4 times between age 8-15) to have any friends
over or stay with friends over night or after school. Because they "where bad and I would become like them".
I am happy that I meet my wife 6 years ago and moved away from home when I was 20, I kinda fled the situation from home to start my own life.
My father has always hated when boy/men had long hair and alot of beard - but that is something I always wanted to have. So when I moved from home
I start to let everything grow.
Two years ago, things got really fucked up when I did not shave all my beard of and cut down my hair because my mom had birthday. I did it the week after
because my brother graduated from school and we where going to visit, we did not want a repeat the situation from a couple of weeks before. After that I got
another job as a Linux sysadmin and started to grow the hair and beard again.
Last monday, my dad called and said that I am not welcome to visit them anymore. I am a "bad example" for my sibling
and he also said "you brother and sister does not feel so good (my sister fainted a couple of days before, which I did not know) so I have no time to care about you and your family"
I was stunned, I really wish that this was a joke but it is'nt.
I have always been bashed because of the choices I make in my life and for my own family (wife, and two kids + one more kid any day now)
When I choose to work with something that I love, they said that I am stupid because they basically think "that the PC is full of SATAN".
When they realized that I make more money than my parents combined they went silent.
I just wanted to write this shit of my chest, it is really fucked up and I am starting to loose the ability to have feelings - if you know what I mean.
Thank you devrant, for being one of the fun things I do, when I read all the rage, fucked up stories, hate, and so on. I do not feel alone :)
PS: I promise you, that you guys/gals will be the first one to know when my new kiddo arrives20 -
Everyone's posting their PC's for wk119, but I thought I could do better.. think different, so to say :P
My electronics workbench.. cleaned up, I promise! Just that there's so much stuff that I have no idea where else to place it :')
And I wish I could post this BEFORE WanBLowS decided to shit itself again with one of those goddamn fucking Blue Screens of Dicksucking Shaftsystem! At least devRant UWP from @JS96 has the dignity to save the post just in case its host craps itself all over.. FUCK!!!

This is where everything started. I got the chance to work with actual production code. While it is very fun to work with, in some places it's also very frustrating. And this is from where, most of my rants come from.
Thank you @dfox and @trogus for making such a beautiful community.
The best part of this community is I never have to think or take time to make jokes or posts so that I can get upvotes. I've always wanted likes or retweets or reddit upvotes. But it never worked out because I have to think so much to make clever comments or posts. Most of the time, I gave up.
But in devRant, all I do is just share what's happening in my daily dev life. My frustrations, my happiness. That's all it takes. Everyone understands, everyone cares and everyone loves.
Over time, thanks to devRant, I've understood that I was part of the wrong community. This is the community that I deserve, this is the community that every dev deserves.
Thank you all. I love you. And I promise, more rants are coming :D
Especial thanks to @Yeah69 @kevbost @yarwest @tisaconundrum @Linux @donkeyScript . I have no idea why you guys all of a sudden rapidly upvoted me. Although I would love to reach 10k naturally but won't complain haha

Worst experience with higher ups:
The Office team at Microsoft suddenly woke up to the possibility of innovation from the grounds up. We were asked to come up with ideas. The best ideas were to be shortlisted by management.
That's what i had a problem with. People are generally bad at dertermining what will work. So instead of managenst shortlisting, everyone should have run cheap experiments with their ideas and we could then double down on the ones that showed promise. That's what is done at all internet companies. But the Office team's culture hadn't changed from the boxed software days.
I was asked to have faith in the judgement of management.
Well, Ballamer didn't let Office develop mobile apps for Android and Apple. When Nadella took over, he fixed that mistake. But because competitors had already gotten ahead, the Office team had to work on Saturdays for almost a year to ship it quickly. Meaning employees having to unnecessarily sacrifice their family time because of a strategic blunder by the highest management.
So excuse me if I don't have faith in the judgement of management.3 -
!rant
It's been a while since I posted here. My previous workplace was a 101 on how to burn out people.
But now I am working at a place where:
- People are 0 toxic.
- Sprints follow the premise "under promise, over deliver."
- I was having trouble sleeping (for reasons) a couple of months ago, and my boss literally told me, "If you can't sleep at night, take a few days, or if you can fall asleep in the morning, just sleep in the morning until you manage to do otherwise. Talk with your team and rearrange the meetings if you have and rest. "
- All pieces of the company (sales, narketing, product, data, devs) have a clean roadmap.
- Product and bizz understand when something can't be done on the next sprint and why sometimes some features are delayed.
- They pay well, even raising the pay twice to account for inflation.
- Full remote, If I want to go to the office, Its my choice.
I need to keep this job no matter what!8 -
Ok story of my most most recent job search (not sure devRant could handle the load if I was to go through them all)
First a little backstory on why I needed to search for a new job:
Joined a small startup in the blockchain space. They were funded through grants from a non-profit setup by the folks who invented the blockchain and raised funds (they gave those funds out to companies willing to build the various pieces of the network and tools).
We were one of a handful of companies working on the early stages of the network. We built numerous "first"s on the network and spent the majority of our time finding bugs and issues and asking others to fix them so it would become possible, for us to do what we signed up for. We ended up having to build multiple server side applications as middleware to plug massive gaps. All going great, had a lot of success, were told face to face by the foundation not to worry about securing more funds at least for the near term as we were "critical to the success of the network".
1 month later a bug was discovered in our major product, was nasty and we had to take it offline. Nobody lost any funds.
1-2 months later again, the inventor of the blockchain (His majesty, Lord dickhead of cuntinstein) decided to join the foundation as he wasn't happy with the orgs progress and where the network now stood. Immediately says "see that small startup over there ... yeah I hate them. Blackball them from getting anymore money. Use them as an example to others that we are not afraid to cut funds if you fuck up"
Our CEO was informed. He asked for meetings with numerous people, including His royal highness, lord cockbag of never-wrong. The others told our CEO that they didn't agree with the decision, but their hands were tied and they were deeply sorry. Our CEO's pleas with The ghost of Christmas cuntyness, just fell on deaf ears.
CEO broke the news to us, he had 3 weeks of funds left to pay salaries. He'd pay us to keep things going and do whatever we could to reduce server costs, so we could leave everything up long enough for our users to migrate elsewhere. We reduced costs a lot by turning off non essential features, he gave us our last pay check and some great referrals. That was that and we very emotionally closed up shop.
When news got out, we then had to defend ourselves publicly, because the loch ness moron, decided to twist things in his favour. So yeah, AMAZING experience!
So an unemployed and broken man, I did the unthinkable ... I set my linkedin to "open to work". Fuck me every moronic recruiter in a 10,000 mile radius came after me. Didn't matter if I was qualified, didn't matter if I had no experience in that language or type of system, didn't matter if my bio explicitly said "I don't work with X, Y or Z" ... that only made them want me more.
I think I got somewhere around 20 - 30 messages per week, 1 - 2 being actually relevant to what I do. Applied to dozens of jobs myself, only contacted back by 1, who badly fucked up the job description and I wasn't a fit at all.
Got an email from company ABC, who worked on the same blockchain we got kicked off of. They were looking for people with my skills and the skills of one other dev in the preious company. They heard what happened and our CEO gave us a glowing recommendation. They largely offered us the job, but both of us said that we weren't interested in working anywhere near, that kick needing prick, again. We wanted to go elsewhere.
Went back to searching, finding nothing. The other dev got a contract job elsewhere. The guy from ABC message me again to say look, we understand your issues, you got fucked around. We can do out best to promise you'll never have to speak to, the abominable jizz stain, again. We'll also offer you a much bigger role, and a decent salary bump on top of that.
Told them i'd think about it. We ended up having a few more calls where they showed me designs of all the things they wanted to do, and plans on how they would raise money if the same thing was to ever happen to them. Eventually I gave in and signed up.
So far it was absolutely the right call. Haven't had to speak to the scrotum at all. The company is run entirely by engineers. Theres no 14 meetings per week to discuss "where we are" which just involves reading our planning tool tickets, out loud. I'm currently being left alone 99% of the week to get work done. and i'm largely in-charge of everything mobile. It was a fucking hellhole of a trip, but I came out the other side better off
I'm sure there is a thought provoking, meaningful quote I could be writing now about how "things always work out" or that crap. But remembering it all just leaves me with the desire to find him and shove a cactus where the sun don't shine
.... happy job hunting everyone!10 -
This one isn't as interesting.
I was probably 6 years old when I first used a computer. A commercial played on the TV about an online game called Fantage.
I wanted to play, so I begged my mom if I could use her Dell inspiron 5100. After hours of begging, she finally said yes.
I've never touched a computer before, so when my mom typed her password and left me alone I was confused.
I didn't know how to get to the game so I stared at the screen until my mom returned. She was annoyed and said to go on the internet and I stared at her. She was about to yell, but refrained herself from doing so, and clicked on IE before typing in the game.
She made me an account and then left.
I figured out how to use the trackpad and keyboard so I was really excited. Then there was a pop up box that said something like, "click OK if you promise not to give anyone your personnel information."
As the stupid kid I was, thought I was going to give her a virus if I clicked OK, so I stared at the screen until my mom said computer time was over.
I never got to play Fantage.16 -
Dear all wonderful ranters,
I apologize profusely in advance if over the next few days I cannot contain my anger at people and rant about non-dev things. I promise I will try my best to not do this, but there are very few places (none) other than here where I feel comfortable enough to express myself freely and not censor my words.
I will be working as a security guard (3rd job) for a car show full of pretentious assholes who have a tendency to think I'm their servant. I have wonderful bosses who have my back, and there are truly amazing people in attendance as well, but if someone tries to run me over again after a long ass day, I might need to vent.
I fully accept any and all down votes, and will likely delete the rant after it's out of my system, unless there's a conversation going in comments (I wouldn't do that to you).
Please bear with me while I try boot to strangle everyone I come across. I'm hoping this year is the year everyone is nice, but history tells me that's naive and won't happen.
All my love,
Your (co)queen who may end up arrested for using her bionic arm to rip their balls off and feed them to their wives10 -
OK.
1. So i tindered.
2. I got a really nice girl.
3. We chatted really long and good.
4. We tried to meetup it did not work because of our schedule. New

10. She happy and continues to chat.
11. I get emtionally invested in her.
12. We exchange thoughts dreams and music.
13 We want to meetup at weekend. I cant. Got a family wedding all
weekend.
14. We want to meetup the second week.
I cant. Im off on a company trip. Again new job here.
15. So we say in the week after I get back.
15a. Before the weekend we need to deliver an rc and go all out to hold
the deadline.
15b. We deliver, but shit happens on the customer side. His fault but we
get the blame.
15c I go onto the company trip.
16. We chat and i send her pictures of the trip over the weekend so she
sees I care.
17. She seems fine. And happy.
18. I come back from the trip late night and need to work the next day
jetlag style.
19. I work jetlag style. And try to fix the shit from last week.
20. I come home really tired and looking forward to date day tomorrow.
21. I cant do anything. My home looks like shit and the bag still
unpacked. I just eat and fall asleep.
I feel bad bcs my home will turn her down instantly if we make it to my
place.
Need to hope that it does not come to this.
22. Date day comes. Today.
23. I wake up at 6 early to plan ahead to make sure my clothes are fine
and i arrive on time in the office to exit early.
24. I expect to check what goes on today in the city and give her the
location to meet and time.
25. I enter office and immeadetly get caught up in meeting planning, dev
questions and the meeting itself because the project is on edge.
26. We have a 5hours long meeting where people go on and on and on.
27. 3h later in the meeting:
my brain was fried and around 12 i go to lunch with some people.
28. Meanwhile the city is turning into a rainy mess of a shitty day. No
way I can have a nice walk with her like that. Bars and coffeshops are
just to boring.
29. So i eat to regain some sense and we go back to the office.
Meanwhile I am thinking all kinds of locations and stuff in my head.
30. Havent given her any update since a good morning in the morning.
31. We reenter the meeting. Things continue like before. The project is
on impossible demands and impossible timelines. Still we try to do our
best.
32 3h later on 3pm I tell her i am in a long meeting and working on a
meetingspot.
33. shes not happy.
34. I get a call from a relative
35. i need to go out and take the call. not good for the collegues.

36. family trouble, money trouble, goverment demands. I promise to
handle that tomorrow. Before work.
37. i get back into the meeting.
38. still super slow and no results.
39. need to focus but start to check for locations on my phone.
40. she asks me where i am
41. I send her my location.
42. she thinks i am saying she should pick me up!
43 i joke and say no definitly not.
44. shes pissed.
45. I decide for a coffeeshop. after work. and send her the location
46. She says to call it off.
47. I go all in and go romance style. I say ill wait there even if she
does not come to show her how much i care.
U know to avoid the lets do it some other time fuckery and then it never
happens.
47. She goes quiet.
48. 2h later we finish the meeting. Meanwhile QA foudn a bug we need to
fix because why not.
49. I got 30 minutes to find the bug and fix it before I need to go to
uphold my word.
50. I find out what to do, but it might break a lot of other things
without careful test and implementation. Collegues says he takes it.
51 I feel bad but I need to go. I even leave earlier because otherwise I
would not be on time.
52. I arrive 15 minutes early. I grab two coffee2go and wait outside,
53. Shitty weather, sometimes rain, sometimes sunny, cant decide what it
wants.
54. The weather is just like how I feel.
55. I wait 1 1/2h
56. I think I should feel stupid, For gods sake its tinder. People dont
give a crap, Enough people around why should I Invest so much into this?
But I dont feel stupid. Because this is how I want it. I dont want
appointments, I dont want safety. I decided for her and I went all in.
57. I send her pics from the sceneray as proof that I waited,
58. I think I blew it. She is still quiet.
59. Friends are asking me for plans for the weekend. I wish I could say
I already have some with her.
60. I feel lost right now. But my head says I put too much stress on
her, And i fucked up with the planning. I should have been more precise.
My head also says that i am putting myself into the victim role, which
is wrong always. Should I continue to reach out to her? Is there
something I could do still?68 -
[Little perspective: For the last 7 months I'm working in a certain project.]
[The project is full of unimaginative, non-creative devs with 0 initiative and poor technical background.]
[And they're almost all from one country which you all can figure out.]
[But I'm not going to mention it here because I don't want to come up as a racist]
[So there's US (Europeans) and THEM. 3 of US and about 10 of THEM. And we're doing 90% of all the heavy lifting]
---
Yesterday
---
D (Dev from THEM): Hi S, I have a problem with my task
Me: (sighing) Ok let's have a call
* on the call with D we were checking some stuff loosely related to task *
* code wouldn't get invoked at all for some reason *
* suddenly I realize that even if the code would invoke, D's probably doing everything wrong in it anyway *
Me (thinking): I need to double check something.
Me: I can't help you now, I'll get back to you later.
* call ended *
---
Me: Hey J, I need your help, I need to clarify the work package in my mind, because I am no longer sure.
J (my European TL): Ok, fire away.
* call started *
Me: Is it true that [blahblahblah] and so D's task depends on me completing first my task, or am I losing my mind?
J: That is correct.
Me: Well she's trying to do this in [that] way, which is completely wrong.
J: You see, that's how it is in this project, you do refinements with them, split these work packages to tasks, mention specifically what depends on what and what order should things be taken in, and in some cases all tasks from given user stories should be done by one person entirely... But they do it their way anyway, assign different people to different interdependent tasks, and these people don't even understand the big picture and they try to do the things the way they think they understand them.
Me: It's a fire in a brothel.
J: Yup.
Me: I fucking love this project.
J: (smiling silently)
* call ended *
---
Me: Ok D, you can't do your task because it's dependant on my task.
D: Oh... so what do I do?
Me: I don't know, do something else until I do my task.
---
A (THEIR TL) (Oh, did I forget to mention that there are 2 TLs in this project? THEY have their own. And there are 2 PMs as well.)
A: Hey S, I need to talk
Me: (sighing, getting distracted from work again) Ok let's have a call
* call started *
A: S, we need this entire work package done by Friday EOD.
Me: I can't promise, especially since there are several people working on its several tasks.
A: D's working on hers for 3 days already, and she's stuck. We want you to take over.
Me: (sighing, thinking "great"): Ok.
* call ended *
---
Me: Hey D, A instructed me to take over your task. This is actually going to be easier since you'd have to wait for mine after all.
D: Oh, ok.
---
* I switched the Assigned Person on D's task to myself on Azure *
---
This morning, email from D.
"Hey, I completed my task and it's on [this] branch, what do I do now?"
........................................
Me, hesitating between 2 ways to reply:
(and take note there are people in CC: A, J, P - the last one is THEIR PM)
1) "Hi, Unfortunately you'd still have to wait for my changes because your task is dependent on my task - the column to be changed is in the table that I am introducing and it's not merged to develop branch yet. By the way I already did your task locally, as I was instructed to do it, I'm wrapping things up now."
(y'know: the response which is kind, professional, understanding; without a slight bit of impatience)
2) WHAT FUCKING PART OF "DON'T DO THIS I WILL FUCKING DO IT MYSELF GO HOME JUST GO HOME" YOU DON'T FUCKING UNDERSTAND
4 -
Co-worker: dude, I need your help!

And now they are threatening us... Brilliant!
- they refuse to sign a legal agreement with us [for our services]
- they only gave us a verbal promise they will pay for our services
- they revoke lots of our accesses
- another company is taking over their product we were hired to look after before. Now they demand us do things for them for free
- a few integrations are malfunctioning with premature EOF [while reading a response]. I had escalated this with the most throughout case analysis I have done in my entire life. Three times over the last 2 years. Explaining every single detail that needs to be done, how, by whom and how to interpret the results. Escalations went to their high level mgmt. And directly had been rerouted to /dev/null...
- now they asked us to fix this whole shit. For free ofc, they have no money to pay us..
- they begged
- when that didn't work - they started threatening to route all their customers' complaints to us and flood us with them
at first I was proud to work on their project. I didn't want to leave it when my manager asked me to. A national level project, making a difference for my own country. But now.....
that's gov, my friends. That's politics and power games.8 -
Looking at broken code you're going to fix:
"I know visual studio, I know...the pain will all be over soon, I promise"1 -
Okay. So my dumbass boss took this project that had a steep timeline. I told him straight up, it won't work because we won't make the timeline. If we do this, I will be the one bending over backwards to deliver. I don't like to promise and fail. I got the oh don't worry let's just try. If we don't make it that's fine. Unfortunately that's not how I work. I refuse to deliberately fail. So I say okay and we begin. I suggested open source is the fastest way to deliver bit the fucked up part is, I am the only senior dev in the team. I will be expected to reverse engineer the open source app to connect our own deployment parameters. Use tech I have never used before. Connect frontend and backend. Handle dns bullshit. I have literally been working on Vibes and coffee for the past two weeks because ofcourse I ran into so many issues. Now I have an extension for Monday and I hate to fail. So I am not sleeping or resting just working on a fucking java app I didnt build and I am expected to make it work seemlessly on our production environment. I made some progress. Deployed frontend, deployed backend. Forgot to connect production dB so I decided to go with azure database for mysql driver since we have credits on azure. Now my java app is pissing itself over ssl handshake. I generate my keystore and add it and now java socket just times out. I want to pummel somebody or a punching bag that looks like my boss.14

So here's my problem. I've been employed at my current company for the last 12 months (next week is my 1 year anniversary) and I've never been as miserable in a development job as this.
I feel so upset and depressed about working in this company that getting out of bed and into the car to come here is soul draining. I used to spend hours in the evenings studying ways to improve my code, and was insanely passionate about the product, but all of this has been exterminated due to the following reasons.
Here's my problems with this place:
1 - Come May 2019 I'm relocating to Edinburgh, Scotland and my current workplace would not allow remote working despite working here for the past year in an office on my own with little interaction with anyone else in the company.
2 - There is zero professionalism in terms of work here, with there being no testing, no planning, no market research of ideas for revenue generation – nothing. This makes life incredibly stressful. This has led to countless situations where product A was expected, but product B was delivered (which then failed to generate revenue) as well as a huge amount of development time being wasted.
3 - I can’t work in a business that lives paycheck to paycheck. I’ve never been somewhere where the salary payment had to be delayed due to someone not paying us on time. My last paycheck was 4 days late.
4 - The management style is far too aggressive and emotion driven for me to be able to express my opinions without some sort of backlash.
5 - My opinions are usually completely smashed down and ignored, and no apology is offered when it turns out that they’re 100% correct in the coming months.
6 - I am due a substantial pay rise due to the increase of my skills, increase of experience, and the time of being in the company, and I think if the business cannot afford to pay £8 per month for email signatures, then I know it cannot afford to give me a pay rise.
7 - Despite having continuously delivered successful web development projects/tasks which have increased revenue, I never receive any form of thanks or recognition. It makes me feel like I am not cared about in this business in the slightest.
8 - The business fails to see potential and growth of its employees, and instead criticises based on past behaviour. 'Josh' (fake name) is a fine example of this. He was always slated by 'Tom' and 'Jerry' as being worthless, and lazy. I trained him in 2 weeks to perform some basic web development tasks using HTML, CSS, Git and SCSS, and he immediately saw his value outside of this company and left achieving a 5k pay rise during. He now works in an environment where he is constantly challenged and has reviews with his line manager monthly to praise him on his excellent work and diverse set of skills. This is not rocket science. This is how you keep employees motivated and happy.
9 - People in the business with the least or zero technical understanding or experience seem to be endlessly defining technical deadlines. This will always result in things going wrong. Before our mobile app development agency agreed on the user stories, they spent DAYS going through the specification with their developers to ensure they’re not going to over promise and under deliver.
10 - The fact that the concept of ‘stealing data’ from someone else’s website by scraping it daily for the information is not something this company is afraid to do, only further bolsters the fact that I do not want to work in such an unethical, pathetic organisation.
11 - I've been told that the MD of the company heard me on the phone to an agency (as a developer, I get calls almost every week), and that if I do it again, that the MD apparently said he would dock my pay for the time that I’m on the phone. Are you serious?! In what world is it okay for the MD of a company to threaten to punish their employees for thinking about leaving?! Why not make an attempt at nurturing them and trying to find out why they’re upset, and try to retain the talent.
Now... I REALLY want to leave immediately. Hand my notice in and fly off. I'll have 4 weeks notice to find a new role, and I'll be on garden leave effective immediately, but it's scary knowing that I may not find a role.
My situation is difficult as I can't start a new role unless it's remote or a local short term contract because my moving situation in May, and as a Junior to Mid Level developer, this isn't the easiest thing to do on the planet.
I've got a few interviews lined up (one of which was a final interview which I completed on Friday) but its still scary knowing that I may not find a new role within 4 weeks.
Advice? Thoughts? Criticisms?
Love you DevRant <33 -
Sorry I haven't been as active lately, however this is one of the better prompts, so I feel I should have it in my track record. Beware, it's a long one...
Let's trace the roots: My uncle was building desktops and he told my dad he'd build him one if my dad paid him for the components. These days I know builds aren't rocket science, but back then my parents didn't do their research. So my dad paid him.
Give or take some time, and most of the parts are complete. He underestimated the prices of a few things and had to ask for $200 more to complete the build. This...caused my dad to explode.
Later, I heard my dad ranting to my stepmom in January 2017 about how the last convo he had with his brother was a "Fuck-you conversation" - it was the last because my uncle had died in 2003.
Flash forward to March 2017. My mom and I are sitting in a Fazoli's, a nice sunset out of the full-length windows. I had to probe. HAD TO.
"You promise you won't tell your dad I told you this?" she asked.
"You know Kellie and I can't stand to be around him." I replied.
As the story goes, that last "Fuck-you conversation"? Over a fucking measly $200. Yup, the last conversation between my dad and his brother to ever happen was a shouting match over a relatively short amount of money. I wish I could say my dad had remorse, but he doesn't. He still talks shit. He's also technologically illiterate, so I doubt there was a way his brother was going to be able to reason with him.
In late 2003, my uncle, who had been a smoker, passed away due to cardiac arrest. The build was still not finished. This was one of the OTHER things that I have mixed feelings about.
After my uncle passed, my aunt paid someone to finish the build and get it shipped to my dad. We'll get back to why I feel this is fucked up, stay tuned...
---------
It's Spring 2004. I'm in the last half of what I think is Kindergarten or some shit...too lazy to do the math. Anyway, my dad announces we have a family computer - however, I couldn't read yet. That didn't stop the waste of oxygen that is my father from going in the Windows XP screensavers and putting text in that said "GAGE MORGAN WILL NOT TOUCH THIS COMPUTER." He's such a fuckin' dick, now AND back then.
My mom had an issue with this. I don't know why, but she did. Later, I was slowly taught how to use the mouse, under heavy supervision. Then I went to my grandma's house. She taught me one very specific thing on her old Win98 (386, maybe? IDK my old hw shit man), and because I know you guys are gonna love this one:
"The blue "e" opens up your games!"
The blue "e" does not open up your games, it opens something that can lead to your games.
I went home and tried this...without permission. My dad came down and discovered my lollygagging on the homepage - this is fucking weird. It was before Nextel, IIRC, so Sprint's logo was red still. Yes, we had broadband from Sprint. I don't know what saga led to that going the way of the dodo, but...
Back on track, I literally got my pants pulled down and had my bare bottom beat. He was gonna drag my ass upstairs and lock me in my room, but before he could, he accidentally slammed MY FUCKING RIGHT TEMPLE into the corner of a hardwood table at the bottom of the staircase.
The wailing that resulted probably was different than the previous form, which is probably what got my mom involved. My dad had a way of going too far, and in retrospect I'm more terrified now of what could've happened than I was then.
Later, I was given access to games in the form of my own account and bookmarks bar. That wasn't the end of the madness/drama from my use of that machine, but it was the earliest form.
Ever since Kindergarten, that one fateful day, I've been defying any/all imposed limitations on tech set on me by my parents...well, not anymore, but literally grades K-12. I'm living on my own, aka "adulting" now. It sucks more than you think, man.
---------
Let's tie this up before I reach the limit. I said I thought it was fucked up when my aunt paid to have the build finished and shipped to us after my uncle's death.
Yes, my aunt's intervention led to me ultimately majoring in computer science.
That doesn't change the fact that she shouldn't have done it.
My dad was an asshole to her husband, who passed. She is ultimately too caring. I don't think my jackass father should've been able to get by with that, he didn't deserve the freebie. Someone else should've told him his brother did in fact need that $200.
I haven't seen her IRL since the funeral when my grandpa passed in 2005. 2006 spelled the end of my parents' marriage.
Hope you guys enjoyed this - it's only a small segment of how I got to where I am now - tiny, actually.2 -
Overhearing your boss pitch the application you're currently working on to a client as an effort to save them from leaving, only to also hear him list features that were never discussed as part of the application launch.1

Calling all bored js devs...
So I just noticed that rantBlock is the most ++'ed collab on devRant! This was totally unexpected since it was just another proof of concept of a random idea I had while bored.
The problem is I do not have time in the next few months to develop it further. I would love to see it ported to uBlock and officially released on the chrome/mozilla/microsoft stores so I am posting an open invitation for devRanters to take it over.
Realistically though while the collab is popular on devRant the repo was not cloned enough times to even show - it only had one watcher and 7 stars so I am not sure if it will get much usage once released, but I promise to download it.
Even with that in mind it's a pretty fun side project if your into ad blocking (ad how it works) and browser extensions for the holidays and you have a community of devs to get feedback from.
Leave a comment if you would like to see it properly published or would like to contribute and you guys can network from there.

The interview wasn't so bad, but it was deceiving, not to the fault of the company though. During the interview process, they were asking all sorts of questions about my Angular and front-end skills. I was to take over a project that used Angular heavily, and none of their devs knew angular. At the time, this was going to be my dream job! After I got the job, and met with the contractor who was handing over the project. He told me that he spent that weekend rewriting the whole thing on rails and ember. When I brought it up with my boss, he was not happy. I would have been fine working on it, but instead I got put onto Wordpress projects with the evergreen promise that I would transition to that project or another one like it. Never happened, built up my skills contributing to Open Source, then left.1

Small company, sole engineer. Non-tech management. Increasingly fancy job titles despite working alone most of the time, with the promise of hiring someone (again) I can actually manage soon.
Backlog of projects/tasks is truly a mindfuck, with new things being added each week. This backlog will never ever get done, and nothing matters anyway because the next idea is "the future", all the time.
While I have influence on some aspects of decision making, it usually ends up being what the boss wants. Actively opposed a project because it's just too big of an undertaking, it was forced through anyway. I'm trying to keep the scope manageable as I'm building it now, and it's hard.
"It's the future, we absolutely have to do this. It will be the biggest thing we've ever done."
Boss's excitement then quickly faded since it's actually in development, now nobody really seems to want to know where it's at, or how it will all work. I need to scope it out, with the knowledge that many decisions boss signed off will be questioned when he actually looks at it. We now have even more "exciting" ideas of utter grandeur. Stuff that I can't even begin to comprehend the complexity of, while struggling to keep a self imposed deadline on the current one.
Every single morning we sit on Zoom for a "valuable" "catch-up". This is absolutely perfect for one thing: Completely destroying whatever drive and focus I have going into the day. Unrelated topics, marketing conversations, even more ideas, ideas for ideas sake, small problems blown out of proportion, the list goes on. I recently argued in detail why it should be scrapped or at least be optional to attend. No luck, it's "valuable".
Today a new idea was announced, and we absolutely have to do it ASAP because it can only be better than the current solution. I raise my concerns, saying it's not as easy as you make it out to be, we should properly think about it. Nope! We'll botch something to prove that it works... So you'll base your decision whether it's good on some half ass botch job that nobody really has the mental capacity to actually pay attention to. What a reliable way to measure!
"Our analytics data isn't useful enough to tell us the impact of things we do. We (you) have to fix this." Over the last 2 or so years, I've been pushing for an overhaul and expansion of our data analysis capabilities for exactly this reason. Integrating different data sources into a unified solution so we can easily see what we're doing, etc. Nope, never happened.
The new project idea which is based on wild assumptions is ALWAYS more important than the groundwork.
Now when I mentioned that this is what I wanted to do all along, it got brushed aside. "We don't need to do anything complicated, just fix this, add that, and it's done. It should be an easy thing to do. This is very important for our decision making." Fine, have it your way.
I'm officially burned out. It's so fucking hard to get myself to focus on my work for more than an hour or two. I started a side project, and even that effort is falling victim to my day-job-induced apathy.
I'm tempted to hand in my resignation without another offer on the table. I just need time to rediscover my passion, and go job hunting from that position, instead of the utter desperation of right now.
If you've read through all this rambling, kudos to you!8 -
I see articles going -> "Here's the future of gaming. blah...blah...blah..."
I already know the future of gaming is trash (no matter how many VR glasses u throw at it), because the current state of gaming is a flaming pile of shit.
I'm still hurt by what Cyberpunk 2077 did to the gaming industry. They relayed the message across like -> "Hey you can release any pile of shit mid-development 'game', charge full price of $60 for it and just promise incremental updates over the years."8 -
Does anyone work on a team with multiple stacks?
For example we have batch jobs in Java but also have a JS front-end and APIs.
How do you divide the developers and the work across these projects?
Currently everyone does everything but I feel like this is inefficient and hard to develop expertise. And different people or even the same person will make the same mistakes over and over again because they don't know how to do X or they forget or overlook some quirk. When I switched Beck to JS took me like a week to get a Promises nailed down again. And this morning someone else had a production bug and couldn't figure it out. But when I looked at the code I could pretty much see where an issue could be (uncaught exception in a promise)
Also the testing frameworks are very different and there's a lot of infrastructure technical debt, things that really should've been done a long time or fixed but no one had the time or expertise to do it or notice it (until it causes a production issue and then everyone is like WTF is happening??!!!!).
I'm not the manager but I always feel that the team needs to be split along the language lines and specific people need to own these projects to review and code changes for all these common newbie errors. And also developer enough expertise to foresee problems before it becomes a production issue.9 -
It's been two months since I've left my previous job, after 1.5 years. I never had the feeling my boss trusted his dev team, since he was checking up on us regularly, even though we had planned out a sprint and work for us was "clear". I say "clear", because every single feature on this project was pretty much half-baked, since they were just ideas our boss/PO (same person) on the spot and were labeled as "the next big thing" without every properly writing them out as user stories. Every demo came with a bunch of criticism, because features weren't implemented "as he imagined", because what do you know, the user stories weren't properly described anyway. Bringing that up as counter-argument also made him angry every time, so that didn't help much either. The launch of the platform was also postponed every time because of vague reasons, so that didn't make the project any more interesting either.
It took a while before I got sick of this of this pretty hopeless situation and toxic environment. Mind you, it was my first job since I graduated, so I was a bit naive thinking the working environment would improve and aforementioned company issues would be resolved over time. Eventually, I ran out of patience and motivation, so I finally bit the bullet and handed in my resignation letter.
From that moment, I at least had an end in sight, since I was still obliged to do my four-week notice period, which felt like an eternity. The borderline childish and sociopathic behaviour of my boss didn't make it any better (e.g. checking up on me even more, more mistrust, randomly accusing me of ruining the working atmosphere because I shared a meme with a colleague of mine and didn't involve him, going lunching with all of my colleagues but explicitly asking me to stay at work, ...). Being forced to work from home the last 2 weeks as part of the country's lockdown measures at least helped my sanity a bit, since I had the comfort of my home office and not the frequent "looking over your shoulders to check if you're still working".
By the last day of my notice period, I was bitter, exhausted, lost confidence in my skills and had completely lost my joy of being a developer. I had to physically meet with my boss one more time to hand in the company laptop. He thanked me for my service and said that we'd keep in touch. I hope I won't keep that promise (he made a lot of false promises before, too), because I'd rather never encounter him ever again. It felt like a huge relief to finally close the door of this bad experience behind me for good.
Now, 2 months later, I've got a new job and rediscovered my joy for coding, mostly thanks to the complete opposite of a toxic environment here, management which actually has respect and faith in me and a challenging but fun project. My mental state has made a complete turnaround compared to two months ago. I have absolutely no regrets of switching jobs. If only I had made that decision sooner.4 -
I have had it with the new pm for my project. We've had to literally write down rules for him to follow on how we want to run our project.
- we always go over time on standup because he's asking everyone specific questions about each ticket we're working on instead of just letting us give our updates. Wrote a rule for not doing that.
- he gets overly excited to get things done to the point that he's approved a PR himself and merged a production release during off hours.
- we're a team of 3 devs but he has 7 big items he wants us to work on concurrently.
- we use jira to keep track of things but he insists on us updating a spread sheet that he made as well. We just straight up told him no but he'll bring it 3 times every week.
- he wants us to write a report of our daily progress in our jira ticket before we give the same updates on standup
- every time I give him an estimate, he tells the clients it's a promise we'll get it done by x date.
- he never pushes back and says yes to everything
- oh here's a funny one, he's "reviewed" my code several times
Idk what to do here anymore. We've literally talked to him about all of these issues. He'll change for a few days and go back to doing whatever he does.6 -
Crawling out of my shell and taking control of my own work. Colleagues were surprised because I'm a very quiet person.
Sales can promise all they want, I decide when we're done. Taking the time to train my peers and learning from them. Communicating with everyone in a way to get things done. Get involved with other departments to see if processes can be optimized. Manage the customer's expectations (under-promise, over-deliver) Taking over this damn company to be more efficient! -
HEYYY!!
Glad to see ya all, how have ya been?
Gosh, it has been forever since the last time! I feel like I forgot about this platform too much, it feels good to have a place full of wonderful people to speak to, and you don't see those everywhere. I'm sorry I haven't been here much, it was mostly due to me not being able to practice programming much and thus falling back on tech stuff.
BUT - that period is now over. Maybe.
I'm gonna be more active on here, in the past recent years I've seen how bad most social medias turned out to be, with a few very special exceptions. I think devRant deserves more activity, so for better or for worse (hopefully better), I'm back!
I think my biggest problem right now is the need for a better PC, one Italians would call "a PC with the controcazzi", lol. A good one, is what I'm sayin. But would ya look at that, thr moment I start searching up for one, a friggin pandemic takes place and prices skyrocket! Ain't that fun. XD
I would probably have found an awesome PC build by now if I knew jack shit about hardware, but unfortunately I was always more into software than hardware. ^^"
So if anybody has any idea, I mean, I'm open to suggestions~ they'd be very appreciated, and thanks in advance. <3
But enough about that - how are you holding up? I hope you're doing good.
Misadventures and bad stuff happen, but I promise you we're all gonna get out of it soon. In the meantime, always remember to drink water, eat properly, keep yourself sanitized, exercise, and do things you love doing. That's what life is about. I'm looking forward to hearing from y'all, once again. 💙
Keep fighting the good fight, and kick ass! And chew gum, too.rant tag you're it still dunno in what order tags are in lol i'm back baby! you're lookin cute today~2 -
"Hey guys we originally set the demo date to August 5th and thus far I have not seen any previews before that, what's going on here?"
Ok see, that is the kind of thing that I would take to me own lil broken heart IF:
1 It was coming from a product manager at where I work
2 He would never get any sort of updates or would just plain not know about us
3 He would be I dunno....fucking paying us?
This is the thing, a friend offered the chance to help him build a product for a business man somewhere down in the land of tacos. Being in a "fuck it" mood and not wanting to say no since it sounded interesting enough I said yes. The "owner" said that he would not be able to pay since he already had hired a team of developers before that did not deliver and as such he was instead offering a part of the company.....sounds familiar?
Not wanting to let my friend down, I told the owner that I would help just as long I get complete CTO power over the product and not crying about the stack being used or ME NOT GIVING THE PRODUCT MY FULL ATTENTION BECAUSE HE WAS NOT FUCKING PAYING.
He said ok.
Of course he did not like it, but he said ok.
He has been asking for the code, the platform, demos and a bunch of other shit which I continue to refuse since he has not offered me or my boy a copy of the legal documents that we require.
Him: "You will get them soon enough, I still need to see the product just to make sure everything is ok"
Me: "You wouldn't even know where to begin looking unless you have a third party that could verify the code, last time I checked I was to be the only one good for this"
Him: "Yeah and you and <friend> are, but I just need to see the product"
Me: "I send you videos and demos, sorry dude, but no binding document == no code. I know you think I am young, give me some fucking credit because this is not my first rodeo"
Him: "I am not trying to play you or anything, you can trust me"
Me: "No, not really. Talk to me about this when you get the documents"
Him: "Well its cuz this is taking too long...."
Me: "Tssss I know!!! It sucks right? Want a good product, built with all the bells and whistles and YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY? guess what dude, I do have a full time job, your product gets my minimal attention, right there at the bottom next to taking a shit, meaning that I will give your product the same time and attention as I would going to the throne. Aye don't feel that bad, I normally take about 1 hour on the shitter, you get that for fucking free."
To be fair ladies and gents I normally don't just explode on people like this. But I just can't fathom not paying someone for a rather large software product, with only a promise that "it will sell" and then telling them to hurry up.
Far as I am concerned this product will flop, but he seems to think it is the next big thing(of course).
He can go choke on some chode.
Fucking prick.1 -
I feel a whole lot better. The project that I was so incredibly stressed out over has finally been invoiced for, albeit two months late, and my client has been understanding throughout the process. I now realise that although pressure is great for working to a deadline, too much pressure is heavily impacting on my thought processes and extends my deadlines more than I can manage at the moment.
The words of encouragement in the comments on my last "rant" really spurred me on, and the criticism made me reflect very much on how little squeeze time I'd given myself. I'm very grateful to this community for those inciteful fragments, and I promise to do my bet to take all of them on board.
Thank you devrant community, for giving me a leg up when I needed it. -
Under the guise of being security conscious, our section had a informal "doughnut charter" whereby if you leave your computer unlocked and someone managed to send an email to the section (cc'ing you) shouting everyone doughnuts then you must comply with the "promise". I was referred to at the time as the "god of email" and everyone knew not to do it to me or I would retaliate. This is because it happened once before. In that case, I set up a secure hidden rule in the person's email so that if they received a doughnut email they would automatically send a doughnut email from them... this also meant it was possible to trigger it at any time. They quickly begged for it to be removed. From then on, no dared touch my unlocked computer. When we got a new boss he was informed of the charter and was repeatedly warned not to 'doughnut' me but one day he ignored the warnings. In his case I set up a rule so that if he sent any email, he also sent out a doughnut email as well. Over the next four days he sent sooo many doughnut emails... He went from happy, to frustrated, to angry and then simply desperate. No one dared tell him I was my doing... He eventually came out of his office and begged for it to stop... Seeing his desperation, I stopped it. He was very appreciative but never put two-and-two together (that his actions caused it). He didn't find out till three months later that I was the one who did it to him. That was the second and last time I was ever doughnut'd.

RAD (Rapid Application Development, such as Oracle's colossal frameworks) frameworks aren't rad at all. They promise to let you focus on your business code, but instead what they do is bring you additional problems to have gray hairs over.
Thoughts?9 -
I love Django. I really do. It's been fun to work with, and wrestle with, and beat my head over repeatedly. I really have enjoyed it. But why in the name of all that is even remotely holy must the URL documentation be so spotty? I finally did get my URL behavior to work, but now that I've created a view function for deleting objects in one of the models, the URL for the editing function breaks. All you do is click "edit" and it brings up this nice little form where you can edit the database entry by querying its ID number and then you can save that ModelForm and everything is fine. So the url scheme is http://foo.com/bar/edit/3/
Should work. Used to work. I swear it used to work, I pulled up an older commit and it works like a charm. Deleting works with that same url scheme.
http://foo.com/bar/delete/3/
deletes the object with id=3 no problem. The two URL schemes in urls.py match perfectly (except one says delete obviously).
But now something has gone and gotten ROYALLY derailed because every time I run that function, that CLEARLY PRESENT 3 is being passed as None. I thought, oh, maybe I rearranged the arguments and am passing in the wrong ID. Nope. Okay, so what if I mixed up the regex on the url? Nope. Matches. WHERE ARE YOU GETTING NONE FROM? I mean, I realize that's the default, but I'M PASSING AN ARGUMENT in.
{% url 'namespace:edit' id=object.id %}
breaks horribly whereas
{% url 'namespace:delete' id= object.id %} deletes the object just fine. Why, Django? We've been wrestling with this for hours. Give me a sign. Tell me what you want from me. I'll give it to you. I will. I promise. -
I just came home from opening of the fiscal year of a small drivers' club and it was quite an amazing life experience.
I got about a 5-times "rise" for a first, small, post-due-time project.
All of the members were so relaxed in one of the most serious moments of an association. We ate, drank beer and had as much fun as possible without break the law and other rules.
The story goes like this:
I was an intern in a website development company as students tend to do. In middle of the internship my teacher asked me if I'd be willing to develop a website to the before mentioned organization.
School will help with the money by being as a middle-man. It wasn't going to pay much, about 120€ or so, it's nothing really for the job, but I said yes for the experience. We organized a meeting, school provided the space, and went straight to the business.
The development went quite well: I got the final design requirements late (there weren't too much), research a lot about CMS:s, ended up with a beta version CMS (a risk), learned it, developed some plugins (not published yet), kept copyrights for most of the work and so on.
I was done _relatively_ quickly with the project and was quite happy with it. Only things still pressing my mind was bugs of the beta CMS, support for the plugins and my somewhat inexperienced graphical design.
Then it hit me, the world. Hosting, domain transfer, certificates, registry agreements. Arrgh. Most of things were fine, I know them. I had luck that I had a technical contact for the club. It would have been a nightmare of it's own otherwise.
We had problems transferring the domain, again, as you do. The other hosting company was to blame. They were the n00bs here. I went trough the law, technical guidance, etc. I was having heavy messaging with my technical contact about it, who was a middle-man for me and the hosting firms.
After a long while loop of waiting, reconfiguring, researching and messaging, until he transfer was finally over.
We had a long while of radio silence after some bug fixes. Until the Christmas came and I was invited to a Christmas party in a cottage, third Christmas party that year. It was great fun. We ate, drank, talked, went to sauna and had a playful adult stiga or sledging competition, etc.
I updated the site yet again, a stable version of the CMS were published. Yess!
Another radio silence came and year changed. It was broken off by a call to the opening of the fiscal year, the same day. This is today, or yesterday by now. This was just after my current company's board game night. I was really busy that day. A whole afternoon of second-hand shopping around the city with a bike. I counted 35 kilometers. Yes I go by bike, don't own a car or have an driving license... Yet.
I wasn't horribly late, around 30 minutes. I started eating and drinking. Free food and beer! They was also late, they should've got trough the business before I got there, before eating. So I ate and listened. Learned more about having business or an association in general. Until my matter came to be heard. They thanked me of the co-operation and made public the change of my reward sum, I WAS GRANTED 500€ REWARD for the work. It's still not an amazing sum in a larger point of view, but I can imagine that it's big deal for a small non-profit organization, which was loosing money. Everybody applauded, every 25 members of the club. I was greatly pleased. I will have to update their site a bit still, but they are going to pay the reward ASAP.
Did I mention that the school works around the taxes, legally. Taxes for the reward, if it were assumed as a wage would be 15%, for me, at the worst case scenario, only for getting the money to my hands.
I was offered another gig at the event, but didn't promise anything yet. I left before sauna, so we didn't get to change contact details. He will find a way to reach me if he really wants so. I'm a busy free man.3 -
when someone promises to complete a project over the weekend that will take several hours, and it's Sunday afternoon with no progress. if they don't do it then it'll be you having to do it scrambling Monday morning to complete for the client. why promise work over the weekend if you aren't going to do it!!!1

Follow-up to my exp with Travis CI: https://devrant.com/rants/5006826
As my allotted credits are set to expire on December 23, I sent a request for 25k monthly OSS credits to Travis support on December 18.
Mind you this is only half of the credits of their lowest subscription price and I didn't ask for extra CPU, so not much to ask.
While for the previous credit request, I got an answer within 24h, this request has gone unanswered for over 2 working days and I noticed it got labeled with "Priority: low" although I will be unable to continue my OSS work in 2 days.
Let's see whether they plan to really uphold their promise that "they will always support open-source" -
Interview question i had:
- how does jwt work under the hood, where is it stored, what 3 parts is it made of, who creates jwt, how does the server know what information the jwt token has (how can it say oh you're Joe you can login now)
- what is the difference between observable and promise in typescript, how does observable work, what is a stream, what is the difference between fetching data through an observable and fetching data with promise and when should we use one over the other, what does .next() funcrion do in observable under the hood
Answer me these questions without googling8 -
I can't get over the fact that my company downgraded the project from Elixir Phoenix to nodejs express.
I asked them why, they told me, the elixir is difficult and blablabla. In my resume, I did mention I have the experience for 2 and a half years (phoenix one year) , I can do that. and previously the senior here used elixir for scalibility , etc. Personally, the system he built weren't bad at all.
now in nodejs , with the async await promise shit.
but 'we prefer old tech' they say . old is gold they say .
Wait nodejs isn't old. To me elixir is like Ruby and Erlang had sex and gave birth to it and named it elixir.5 -
In client terms, a “3rd party” is akin to Angelina Jolie. Despite the promise that you’ll be able to have an enlightening conversation over a nice meal and hopefully hook up afterwards ... sorry, it ain’t happenin’. You’re just gonna have to fantasize about it while you take care of business yourself.

I wrote my first proper promise today
I'm building a State-driven, ajax fed Order/Invoice creation UI which Sales Reps use to place purchases for customers over the phone. The backend is a mutated PHP OSCommerce catalog which I've been making strides in refactoring towards OOP/eliminating spahgetti code and the need for a massive bootstrapper file which includes a ton of nonsense (I started by isolating the session and several crucial classes dealing with currency, language and the cart)
I'm using raw JS and jquery with copious reorganization.
I like state driven design, so I write all my data objects as classes using a base class with a simple attribute setter, and then extend the class and define it's attributes as an array which is passed to the parent setter in the construct.
I have also populateFromJson method in the parent class which allows me to match the attribute names to database fields in the backend which returns via ajax.
I achieve the state tracking by placing these objects into an array which underscore.js Observe watches, and that triggers methods to update the DOM or other objects.
Sure, I could do this in react but
1) It's in an admin area where the sales reps using it have to use edge/chrome/Firefox
2) I'm still climbing the react learning curve, so I can rapid prototype in jquery faster instead of getting hung up on something I don't understand
3) said admin area already uses jquery anyway
4) I like a challenge
Implementing promises is quickly turning messy jquery ajax calls into neat organized promise based operations that fit into my state tracking paradigm, so all jquery is responsible for is user interaction events.
The big flaw I want to address is that I'm still making html elements as JS strings to generate inputs/fields into the pseudo-forms.
Can anyone point me in the direction of a library or practice that allows me to generate Dom elements in a template-style manner.4 -

I can promise you all this... Artificial Intelligence’ silicone valley... will not be in California, the industry will be in west Michigan... instead of the and valleys beaches of California it will be the hills and lake shores of Lake Michigan... true artificial intelligence of the movies will be “born” there. The liberal developers and hipster coders can stay out in California.. while the rest of us will be over her in Michigan. I promise you this will happen, give it 10 years8

Over the last week I've slowly grown to fucking hate IMAP and SMTP. You'd think after so many years we'd have come up with better servers to manage email but no we still rely on fucking decades old protocols that can't even batch requests.
To make things worse I need to attach to IMAP through node and that has been a nightmare. All the libraries suck ass and even the ones tailored towards Gmail don't work for Gmail because Google decided one day to fucking out the header at the bottom of some emails and split into mimeparts. Also why the fuck is fetching email asynchronous? There's no point at all since we requests are processed line by line in IMAP, and if the library actually supported sending asynchronous requests it wouldn't require a new object to be created for each request and allow only a single listener.
Also callbacks are antiquated for a while and it pisses me off that node hasn't updated their libraries i.e. TLS to support async/await. I've taken to "return await new Promise" where the resolve of the promise is passed as the callback, which let's me go from callback to promise to async/await. If anyone has any other ideas I'm all ears otherwise I might just rewrite their TLS library altogether...
And this is just IMAP. I wish browsers supported TLS sockets because I can already see a server struggling with several endpoints and users, it would be much easier to open a connection from the client since the relationship is essentially:
Client [N] --- [1] Server [1] --- [1] IMAP
And to make the legs of that N : N which would fix a lot of issues, I would have to open a new IMAP connection for every client, which is cool cause it could be serverless, but horrifying because that's so inefficient.
Honestly we need a new, unifying email protocol with modern paradigms...8 -

(To the tune of "I Am the Very Model of a Modern Major-General" from Gilbert and Sullivan's "The Pirates of Penzance")
I am the very model of a modern web developer
I’m quite fluent with JavaScript; An HTML whisperer
My code is clean and elegant, I genuinely innovate
And even know my way around a Promise and async / await
I’m very well acquainted too with matters vector graphical
I understand why SVG coordinates seem magical
And even without Photoshop I elegantly can produce
A mockup or a logo in most any format that you choose

I know the ins and outs of functional reactive programming
In short, in matters browser-based or Node.js if you prefer
I am the very model of a modern web developer

I know our mythic history, the humble start, the browser wars
I know why Douglas Crockford fought the battle over ES4
The World Wide Web Consortium and Ecma International
My knowledge of our legacy is truly supernatural
With LESS and SASS and CSS, designing for mobility
I’ll perfectly apply the right amount of specificity
From custom fonts and parallax to grid and flex and border-box
I know most every tip and trick both common and unorthodox
[Chorus]
He knows most every tip and trick both common and unorthodox

And when it comes to lazy loading, bundling up and splitting code
There’s nothing quite like Webpack, which of course is built on top of Node
Considering my resume, I’m certain that you will concur
I am the very model of a modern web developer

When new frameworks and libraries emerge I must be ravenous
And gobble up the hot new thing, my appetite is bottomless
React and Vue and Angular, Immutable, RxJS
The list will be outdated long before I'm finished singing this
My pull requests rely on multitudinous utilities
To help me lint and test and build, a deluge of analyses
And every single day there are a hundred thousand more to learn
The web is going through an irresponsible amount of churn

The web is going through an irresponsible amount of churn
The web is going through an irresponsible amount of churn

This pace is agonizing! Code from yesterday is obsolete!
The speed of innovation is enough to knock me off my feet!
It's happening too fast! I can’t keep up! I’m tired! It’s all a blur!

SCAM FUNDS RECOVERY SERVICES // RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY
As a military officer, I approach challenges with a strategic mindset, relying on discipline, training, and a commitment to mission success. However, nothing could have prepared me for the deception I encountered while investing in cryptocurrency. Like many, I was drawn to the promise of significant returns and the innovative nature of digital assets. I believed that my analytical skills would help me navigate this new landscape, but I quickly learned how easily even the most vigilant can fall victim to fraud. I lost over $50,000 to a fraudulent broker who operated with a façade of professionalism and credibility. Initially, everything seemed legitimate. The broker’s website was polished, their marketing materials were compelling, and the testimonials appeared genuine. As I invested more money, I felt a sense of excitement and optimism, convinced that I was making sound decisions. However, it all came crashing down when I attempted to withdraw my funds, only to find that my requests were met with delays and evasions. The frustration was overwhelming. I felt not only a sense of financial loss but also a personal failure. As someone who has dedicated my life to serving and protecting others, it was difficult to accept that I had been deceived. I spent countless hours researching and trying to understand how I could recover my investments, but each lead seemed to lead me further into a maze of deceit. The emotional toll was significant, and I was left feeling uncertain about my future. Just when I thought all hope was lost, I discovered Rapid Digital Recovery. Their reputation for helping victims of financial fraud caught my attention. After reaching out, I was met with a knowledgeable and empathetic, Rapid Digital Recovery who understood the complexities of my situation. They carefully assessed my case and outlined a clear plan of action, giving me the guidance I desperately needed. With their support, I was able to recover 95% of my losses, a result I once thought was impossible. This experience has been a profound lesson in the importance of vigilance in financial matters and the value of seeking help when necessary. The world of investments can be fraught with risks, and it’s crucial to remain cautious. I now urge others to be careful with their investments; not everyone is trustworthy. Always conduct thorough research, and when in doubt, consult professionals who have a proven track record. It’s a lesson I will carry with me, both in my professional life and personal finances.

RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY: PIONEERING BITCOIN RESTORATION SOLUTIONS
I was horrified when I lost my 45,000 ETH for the first time. It accounted for a sizeable amount of my savings, which I had built up over years of cautious investing and faith in the cryptocurrency industry. It was a sophisticated hack, not a bad trade or market meltdown, that caused the loss. I felt completely powerless after the money was taken directly out of my wallet. I initially turned to multiple recovery services in the hope of recovering my stolen assets. However, after months of dealing with fraudulent services and ineffective solutions, I was on the verge of writing off my entire investment. Many services seemed like nothing more than scams, preying on vulnerable individuals like myself. They promised miracles but left me with empty assurances and no results. I was about to give up when a buddy suggested Rapid Digital Recovery, a brand I had never heard of. I was first dubious because I had previously been burned and didn't want to put my trust in another provider. However, Rapid Digital Recovery felt different in some way. They took a professional approach, spoke openly, and sincerely wanted to provide a workable answer. From the very first consultation, I was impressed by their level of expertise. They took the time to explain how they worked, the tools they used to trace stolen funds, and the process they followed to attempt to recover assets. They didn’t promise a quick fix but reassured me that they had successfully assisted others in similar situations. They walked me through each step of the process and kept me updated at every stage. Over the next several weeks, I saw the results of their hard work. Rapid Digital Recovery employed advanced techniques to track the stolen ETH across various blockchain networks and worked tirelessly with law enforcement and crypto exchanges to trace its movements. Their team showed a level of dedication and professionalism that I hadn’t seen from any other recovery service. I’m happy to say that, after months of intense work, Rapid Digital Recovery was able to recover the majority of my stolen ETH—around 42,000 ETH, which was an incredible relief. While not every cent was returned, the recovery rate far exceeded my expectations, and I felt like I had regained control over my financial future. What stood out the most about my experience with Rapid Digital Recovery was their transparency and integrity throughout the process. Unlike many other services, they never made unrealistic promises or pressured me into paying exorbitant fees upfront. They were clear about what was achievable and kept me informed every step of the way. If you find yourself in a similar situation—dealing with the devastating loss of crypto assets due to theft or fraud—I highly recommend Rapid Digital Recovery. Their expertise, dedication, and ethical approach to recovery make them stand out in an industry plagued with unreliable services. I can confidently say that without them, I would have likely lost my entire investment. Contact for more info: ....... Web site Info: https: // ra pi ddigit alrecove ry .o rg ....... I never imagined I would be writing this kind of testimony, but I feel it’s important to share my experience with Malice Cyber Recovery and how they helped me recover $230,000 I lost to crypto scammers. A few months ago, I got involved in a crypto investment opportunity that seemed legitimate at first. The scammers were incredibly convincing. They showed me impressive returns, sent regular updates, and even gave me access to what looked like a real trading platform. I was initially cautious, but after seeing the returns, I began to invest more, ultimately transferring over $230,000. Unfortunately, after a few weeks, when I tried to withdraw my funds, I found that the platform had disappeared, and I could no longer contact anyone involved. It was clear I had been scammed, and I felt completely helpless. For weeks, I tried everything to get my money back—contacting the authorities, reaching out to the platform’s so-called support team (who of course were unreachable), and trying to trace the transactions myself. But everything led to dead ends. The more I researched, the more I realized just how hard it was to recover stolen crypto. I began to lose hope. That’s when I came across Malice Cyber Recovery. At first, I was skeptical. Could they really help me recover my funds after everything I had been through? I decided to reach out anyway, just to see if they could offer any guidance. From the very first conversation, their team was not only professional but also deeply empathetic. They understood exactly how I was feeling and immediately made it clear that they were dedicated to helping me recover my lost funds. Malice Cyber Recovery’s team got to work quickly. They walked me through every step of the process, explaining the methods they would use to track down my stolen crypto. Their knowledge of blockchain technology and how to trace crypto transactions was incredibly impressive. They didn’t just give me vague promises—they showed me the action they were taking and the progress they were making, which gave me hope that my money wasn’t gone forever. One of the most reassuring aspects of working with Malice Cyber Recovery was their transparency. They kept me updated regularly, letting me know what they were doing, what obstacles they encountered, and how they were overcoming them. It wasn’t an easy process; tracing funds through blockchain and dealing with scammers who hide behind fake identities and complex networks is incredibly difficult. But Malice Cyber Recovery’s team was relentless. They used advanced tools and techniques to trace the flow of my funds, and within just a few weeks, they managed to locate a significant portion of my lost funds. I couldn’t believe it when they informed me that they had successfully recovered a large chunk of my money. I never thought I’d see that $230,000 again. The recovery process wasn’t instantaneous—it took time, patience, and persistence—but Malice Cyber Recovery delivered on their promise.1

RECLAIM YOUR STOLEN CRYPTO FUNDS FROM ONLINE SCAM WITH DIGITAL HACK RECOVERY
I’ve got to be very honest, guys. I never thought I would become a victim because I never believed something like this could happen to me. But unfortunately, two months ago, I fell into a trap that cost me over $200,000. It all started when I made an investment in binary options. I was promised generous returns on my capital, and at first, everything seemed to be going well. The platform looked legitimate, and the people behind it were convincing. However, as the days passed and I saw my balance grow, things started to take a strange turn. When I finally tried to withdraw my initial investment plus the profits I had accumulated, that’s when the issues began. The platform started offering one excuse after another: "Technical difficulties," "Maintenance," "Verifications needed," and so on. The more I asked, the more evasive their responses became. At that point, I realized something was seriously wrong.I couldn't believe it—my hard-earned savings, everything I had worked for, was locked up and unreachable. I was in complete disbelief, and at first, I blamed myself. How could I have fallen for such a scam? But then, I started to research, hoping there was a way to recover my funds. That’s when I stumbled upon a thread on Reddit where many people shared their own experiences with online scams, including similar binary options frauds. Some of the stories were heartbreaking, but amidst the posts, I found several mentions of a company called Digital Hack Recovery. Curious but skeptical, I decided to reach out. I was nervous, not knowing what to expect, but the team at Digital Hack Recovery was incredibly professional. They took the time to explain the recovery process in detail, from gathering all necessary documentation to filing a formal claim. They reassured me that they had successfully helped others in situations like mine, and I felt a sense of hope for the first time in weeks. To my surprise, Digital Hack Recovery delivered on their promise. After a few weeks of hard work and communication with the authorities, I was able to recover not only my capital but also the promised profits. LOST CRYPTO? HERE'S HOW TO TRACK, REPORT AND RECOVER IT: RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY
I was a victim of a notorious scam on Bitcoinfx, a platform that operated under the guise of a legitimate investment opportunity. The company, which claimed to be based in London, posted ads promising high returns on Bitcoin investments and other cryptocurrency trading strategies. These ads flooded social media, search engines, and even financial websites, making the platform seem like a credible and trustworthy entity. Attracted by the promise of quick profits, I decided to invest in what I believed was a solid opportunity. My initial deposit of £1,750 was followed by another £2,500 after I saw what appeared to be consistent growth in my account. The Bitcoinfx mobile app displayed impressive profits, and my balance eventually reflected a total of £117,000. However, when I attempted to withdraw my funds, things began to take a turn for the worse. Each time I tried to access my money, I was told that additional fees were required to cover taxes, government charges, and other fabricated expenses. This cycle of requests never seemed to end, and no matter how much I paid, the withdrawal never went through. At first, Bitcoinfx’s website and mobile app appeared completely legitimate. The branding looked professional, and customer service representatives were available to assist, which gave me a false sense of security. But over time, I began to notice irregularities. The more I questioned them about my inability to access my funds, the more complex and confusing their explanations became. It became clear that I was dealing with a fraudulent operation. By the time I realized Bitcoinfx was a scam, I had lost £80,000 in total, including my initial £4,250 deposit. Desperate for answers, I began researching online and found a forum where other victims shared similar experiences. One comment, in particular, stood out to me. An older gentleman described how he had successfully recovered his funds through a service called Rapid Digital Recovery. The fact that they were familiar with Bitcoinfx and had helped others regain their money gave me hope. I decided to contact Rapid Digital Recovery, and within 24 hours, they had recovered all of my funds. Their professional and swift approach to handling my case was a huge relief. I am sharing my experience to let others know that help is available. If you have been scammed by platforms like Bitcoinfx, Rapid Digital Recovery proved to be a reliable and effective service. I encourage anyone in a similar situation to reach out to them.

RECOVER BITCOIN, USDT, AND ETH FROM SCAMMERS HIRE ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST
Six months ago, I made a life-changing decision: I left a stable job to pursue full-time cryptocurrency trading. After a full year of mentorship from my cousin—who had built substantial wealth through Bitcoin and altcoins—I felt ready to take the leap. I started with a modest investment of $20,000, trading cautiously between established cryptocurrencies and promising DeFi projects. To my surprise, my portfolio tripled in value within a few months, climbing to over $60,000. That early success fueled my ambition and confidence. WhatsApp info: +12 (72332)—8343
Emboldened, I decided to go all in. I liquidated my savings, borrowed against some assets, and raised my total investment to $390,000. At first, the decision seemed to pay off. My trades were profitable, and the returns felt consistent. I began to feel unstoppable. But then I made a critical mistake. Drawn in by the promise of zero-fee trading and instant withdrawals, I transferred my entire portfolio to a new, unverified exchange. Website info: h t t p s:// adware recovery specialist. com
At first, everything seemed perfect—executions were smooth, the interface was sleek, and my balance continued to grow. But when I attempted to withdraw funds, things took a turn. The support team began giving vague excuses about ‘wallet maintenance’ and ‘verification delays.’ Weeks passed, and then suddenly, my account was frozen for so-called ‘suspicious activity.’ Soon after, the platform went dark—the domain was inactive, support channels disappeared, and just like that, my life savings were gone.
The shock was paralyzing. I spent days in panic, scouring the internet for answers and barely sleeping. That’s when I discovered ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST, a cybersecurity firm known for helping victims of crypto fraud. A fellow trader who had recovered lost assets recommended them. I was skeptical—but desperate. Email info: Adware recovery specialist@ auctioneer. net
ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST quickly sprang into action. Their team traced blockchain transactions, identified the fraudulent network, and worked tirelessly to recover my funds. Thanks to their expertise, I was able to regain access to my wallet and recover a significant portion of what I had lost. While I didn’t get everything back, their intervention saved me from total financial ruin.
In the middle of that nightmare, I felt an overwhelming sense of gratitude—not just for the team’s skill and dedication, but for what I believe was divine intervention. I truly believe God led me to ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST. It reminded me that even in our darkest hours, faith can light the path forward. Sometimes, the help we need comes through the hands of others—and I’m incredibly thankful that I found the right people at the right time.2 -

Working as a parcel delivery driver at Amazon, I’m constantly focused on delivering packages efficiently and ensuring everything arrives on time. It’s a job that demands attention to detail, reliability, and clear communication. These are values that I hold dear, and they became especially important when I fell victim to a cryptocurrency scam. I had invested 3 BTC in what seemed like a lucrative opportunity, only to realize too late that it was a scam. The feeling of betrayal and loss was overwhelming. I didn’t know where to turn, and I feared my hard-earned Bitcoin was gone for good. I spent hours online trying to find a solution, but most recovery services seemed sketchy at best. Many promised instant results or asked for large upfront fees with little explanation. I was hesitant to trust anyone after being scammed, and I didn’t want to fall for another dubious service. Then, while scrolling through a cryptocurrency forum during one of my breaks, I came across a post from someone who had been in a similar situation. They shared how TECH CYBER FORCE RECOVERY had successfully helped them recover their stolen crypto. The reviewer spoke highly of their professionalism and how the service kept them informed every step of the way. What caught my attention most was that TECH CYBER FORCE RECOVERY was a government-approved service, which gave me confidence that they were legitimate. After reading the review, I decided to reach out and see if they could help me recover my funds. From the moment I contacted TECH CYBER FORCE RECOVERY, I felt reassured. Their team was professional, clear, and transparent about the entire recovery process. They explained how they would use advanced tools to trace my stolen BTC, and they gave me a realistic timeline for when I could expect updates. As someone who works in a demanding job where reliability is key, I truly appreciated their straightforward approach and the trustworthiness they exuded. There were no empty promises, just a clear and honest explanation of the steps involved. Over the following weeks, TECH CYBER FORCE RECOVERY worked tirelessly to track down my stolen funds. They kept me updated regularly, which I found very reassuring, given how anxious I had been about the situation. After several weeks of diligent work, I received the fantastic news that my 3 BTC had been successfully recovered. It was an incredible relief, and I couldn’t have been more grateful for their help. As someone who works at Amazon, I understand the importance of professionalism and delivering on promises. TECH CYBER FORCE RECOVERY displayed both of these qualities in abundance. If you’ve been a victim of a scam, I highly recommend their services. Their expertise, transparency, and dedication to their clients truly set them apart from the many other recovery services out there. They delivered on their promise and gave me back what I thought I had lost forever.5 -
It was a cold, rainy night when I first stumbled upon the Cyber Codex Revolution website. I had been searching for months, desperately trying to recover the Bitcoin investment that had slipped through my fingers, and I was on the verge of giving up hope. The story began a few years ago, when I had decided to dip my toes into the world of cryptocurrency. Intrigued by the promise of financial freedom and the potential for massive returns, I had invested a significant portion of my savings into Bitcoin. At first, everything seemed to be going well – the value of my investment was steadily climbing, and I could almost taste the financial security that lay ahead. However, my dreams of wealth and prosperity were shattered when I fell victim to a sophisticated hacking scheme. Unbeknownst to me, my digital wallet had been compromised, and my entire Bitcoin stash had been siphoned away, leaving me feeling helpless and betrayed. I spent countless hours scouring the internet, searching for any information or resources that could help me recover my lost investment. I reached out to various cryptocurrency exchanges and online forums, but the responses were often vague, unhelpful, or downright discouraging. Just when I was about to give up, I stumbled upon the Cyber Codex Revolution website. The site promised a glimmer of hope, claiming that they had a team of experienced professionals who specialized in tracking down and retrieving stolen cryptocurrency. Skeptical but desperate, I decided to give them a chance. I reached out to the Cyber Codex Revolution team, and they immediately sprang into action. They listened to my story with empathy and understanding, and they assured me that they would do everything in their power to help me recover my lost Bitcoin. Over the next few weeks, the Cyber Codex Revolution team worked tirelessly, using their expertise in blockchain analysis, digital forensics, and law enforcement connections to unravel the complex web of transactions that had led to the theft of my Bitcoin. It was a painstaking process, filled with dead ends and frustrating setbacks, but the Cyber Codex Revolution team never gave up. They meticulously traced the movement of the stolen funds, following a trail that led them across international borders and through a maze of shell companies and anonymous accounts. As the investigation progressed, the team uncovered a sophisticated criminal network that had been targeting unsuspecting cryptocurrency investors like myself. They worked closely with law enforcement agencies around the world to build a case against the perpetrators, gathering evidence and building a solid legal foundation for their recovery efforts. Finally, after months of relentless work, the Cyber Codex Revolution team was able to locate and secure a significant portion of my stolen Bitcoin. It was a bittersweet moment, as I had lost a substantial amount of my investment, but the fact that I was able to recover anything at all felt like a small victory, you can also contact them if a have been a victim Whatsapp: +39 35090368252

CRYPTO SCAM VICTIMS RECOVER THROUGH PROFESSIONAL RECOVERY SERVICE DIGITAL HACK RECOVERY
I had lost a substantial amount of Ethereum (ETH) and went through a string of unsuccessful attempts with various so-called 'recovery' firms. Each time, they promised a quick resolution, charged me hefty fees, and then left me with nothing to show for it. I was stuck in an endless cycle of disappointment and financial loss. Many of these companies seemed like they were just taking advantage of my desperation, offering vague solutions and making empty promises. I had nearly given up when I came across Digital Hack Recovery. Right from the start, they stood out as a breath of fresh air. They didn’t rush into anything or make wild claims. Instead, they took the time to understand my case, explained the complexities involved, and kept me informed throughout the process. The website was professional, clear, and easy to navigate. I read through the testimonials, which seemed genuine, and the process outlined felt reassuringly methodical. I decided to give it a shot. I submitted my details and explained my situation, hoping against hope that this would be the one service that could actually deliver results. Within hours, I received a response from their team. They asked me a series of technical questions about my wallet and recovery attempts. For the first time in months, I felt like I was talking to someone who understood what I was going through. Digital Hack Recovery’s team was incredibly patient. They didn’t promise me a quick fix, but rather, they explained the process step-by-step. I appreciated their transparency. Over the course of the next few days, I worked closely with their experts, who guided me through the process of verifying my identity and making sure I hadn’t overlooked any potential recovery methods. Slowly but surely, they started to narrow down what had gone wrong with my previous attempts and developed a custom recovery plan based on my specific case. The recovery process was a bit of a rollercoaster. There were moments of doubt—when things didn’t work as expected, or when the progress seemed slow—but the team at Digital Hack Recovery was there every step of the way, reassuring me and providing updates. And then, one afternoon, it happened. They sent me an email with a subject line I’ll never forget: "Your ETH is Recoverable." My heart raced as I opened it. They had successfully recovered my ETH. The process was painstaking, but their expertise and persistence had made it happen. What impressed me most was their transparency and professional approach. After months of fruitless efforts with other firms, Digital Hack Recovery successfully recovered my lost ETH. They restored my faith in recovery services, and I am forever grateful for their expertise. If you’ve been through similar frustrations, I highly recommend Digital Hack Recovery—they are a legitimate, trustworthy team that delivers real results. Obviously the top item on the table is NN, the "end users" from both sides of the connection on the net are for the saving it, and the middlemen that only own the "cables" want it to be repealed.
We have the solution to end this issue forever. It wont be easy, nor will it be fast.. unless certain "entities" team with us in secrecy. (There's a reason why certain "entities" have stayed silent regarding NN, due to agreements to not get involved due to the risk of backlash. AND if NN is repealed Those Entities cannot fix the problem as their hands are tied to continue to provide content to the end users.) Read between the lines you will understand it will all make sense later.
I will make The Official Public Statement within 24 hours of the FCC Vote. That statement will be how to get involved, help, get us jump started in your area, funding, the ENTIRE details of the plan, goals, and timeline. AS WELL as how to contact us. This will take time and we are not a magic solution that will fix the problem overnight.
We are however THE solution to the underlying problem with ISPs of today. We have been researching for quite a while and digging deep into the entities that have caused us to get where we are now. The further you go digging into 'THEM' the more pissed off you become as you truly realize whats going on and has been on among the ISPs its MUCH deeper than you are being told.
OUR solution will remove all of "them" from the equation completely as well as being faster, and cheaper than the Tier 1 as you wont be paying for the connection or speed, you would be paying for the hardware/overhead cost. AND we will be bringing you closer to the content providers than EVER before.
AND we will be the only solution capable for competing in the current Tier1 Monopoly zones, I promise you they cannot match our plan's price, IF they did it would be only as a loss leader and NOT a sustainable long term solution for those competing with us at are for-profit....
In order for our solution to work, and to keep the internet service non-bias, well non-bias from OUR members :) this will need to be a collective effort, focused one clearly defined vision. WE WILL AND WE MUST ALL set "profits" aside on this as profits in selling nothing other "connection" to the internet has gotten us in the mess we are in now. AND YES we realize profits help maintain and upgrade the infrastructure, BUT that isn't true in this case...Overhead from our view includes those anticipated costs.
Smaller ISPs will need to make a decision, give up profits, become one with us, and be apart of the mission OR they will be left to suffer at the mercy of the ISPs above them setting the cost of bandwidth eventually leading to their demise.
This will happen because we wont be bound by the T1s .... WE would be the "Tier 0" that doesn't exist ;)
This sounds crazy, impossible, BUT its not, it will work WILL happen, regardless of the FCC's vote. as if the FCC choices to keep NN, its only a matter of time till the big lawyers of the ISPs find some loophole, or lobby enough to bring us back to this.
Legistlation is NOT the solution its just a band-aid fix as the cancer continues to grow within.
PLEASE understand that
Until the vote is made, and we release what we are doing, stay put, hang in, it will all be explained later, we are the only true solution.
BIG-ISPs WILL REGRET WHAT THEY HAVE DONE!
What needs to be understood by all is with net neutrality inplace the ability to compete aginst the Tier 1s directly over customers and reinvent the internet to lower or remove costs completely, increase speeds AND expand to underserved/unserved communities ITS NOT POSSIBLE WITH NN
NN REPEAL is the only way to the fixing the problem for good... yes the For profit BIG ISPs will benefit but not forever.. as repealing it opens the doors for outside the box big picture innovators to come in and offer something different, the big ISPs have clearly over looked this small detail being the possibility of a “NonProfit CoOp TIER 1 ISP” entering into the game thru end users and businesses working together as one entity to defeat them... THE FOR PROFIT ISPs over looked this because they are blinded by the profit potential of NN Repeal, never did they consider our option as a possible outcome because no one has attempted it....
We will unite as one

Expert Crypto Recovery Services -Trusted Partner in Crypto Recovery″Digital Hack Recovery″
The screen dimmed as I stared blankly at the zero balance in my wallet. That night, I wasn’t just broke, I was shattered. I had invested every ounce of my savings and trust into a foreign crypto platform promising unparalleled returns. They appeared very legitimate, but overnight, the facade crumbled, and so did my finances. The following days were a blur. Their website had vanished, emails bounced, and the contact numbers were disconnected. Anger surged, followed by a chilling realization: I had been scammed. My savings, the money I had worked for tirelessly as a graphic designer over eight years, was gone. My closest friend urged me to move on and learn from it, but how could I? Every dime represented long nights, missed vacations, and a promise to myself to buy my parents a home someday. That dream now felt cruelly snatched away.I remember sitting in my tiny Berlin apartment, the walls closing in on me, scrolling aimlessly through forums for stories of others like me. That’s when I found someone mentioned a recovery service that had helped them reclaim their stolen assets. At first, I was skeptical. After all, hadn’t I already been duped? My curiosity battled with doubt for days until I decided to reach out. That’s when I found Digital Hack Recovery. Their approach struck a different chord. It was direct, transparent, and very professional. They didn’t promise miracles, but they gave me a roadmap: "We will fight for your case, but we need your trust and cooperation." I provided them with every detail transaction IDs, and even the tiniest breadcrumbs of communication with the scammers. At one point, it felt like reliving a nightmare, but their calm reassurances kept me grounded. On Friday morning, just three days after working with the team, while sipping my habitual coffee, I received the long-awaited email: “Funds Recovered, Next Steps.” My heart raced as I checked the email, and boom a deposit notification popped up. I quickly checked my wallet, and the funds were all available.Today, I’m rebuilding. My parent’s house is still a dream, but not an impossible one anymore. This experience has taught me the value of persistence and the power of people who truly care. Would I recommend Digital Hack Recovery? Absolutely, with all my heart. If you’re standing at the edge of hopelessness, take that leap of faith. It was the best decision I ever made. Contact Digital Hack Recovery via⁚

When I first got involved in crypto, I was excited by the potential for growth, but I never imagined it would end in such a nightmare. I had found what seemed like a trustworthy investment opportunity, one that promised incredible returns with little risk. After weeks of careful research, I took the leap and sent a large sum of money to the platform. Everything appeared legitimate: a professional website , user testimonials, and even responsive customer support. But then, overnight, the platform vanished without a trace. The website was gone, and my emails went unanswered. I was left in shock, staring at an empty screen, wondering how I could have been so naive. I felt foolish, embarrassed, and completely powerless. I couldn’t believe I’d fallen for such a blatant scam. For weeks, I tried everything by contacting the platform, reporting the scam to authorities, and even reaching out to other so-called recovery services. But each attempt only deepened my frustration. I was met with either silence or more false promises. My hopes were dashed, and I began to believe I’d lost everything. The financial and emotional toll was overwhelming, and I was ready to give up, convinced there was no way back. My all time dream was growing my savings through forex trading, drawn by the allure of high returns and the promise of financial growth. When I discovered an online platform that claimed to offer consistent returns with minimal risk, it seemed like an opportunity too good to pass up. The website was professionally designed, customer service was responsive, and the initial returns on my investments were encouraging. Lured by these assurances, I invested a significant amount—$760,000 over several months. At first, everything appeared to be going as planned. My account was credited with gains, and I was even able to withdraw some profits, which reinforced my belief in the platform's legitimacy. This initial success only fueled my confidence, making the subsequent events all the more devastating. Then, without any prior warning or explanation, the situation took a drastic turn. One day, I found myself unable to access the platform. My account balance had mysteriously vanished, and attempts to reach the company were met with silence. The shock and despair that followed were overwhelming. The realization that I had lost everything I had invested was paralyzing. The promise of financial gain often comes hand in hand with the risk of falling victim to fraudsters. For many, the allure of quick profits and financial independence can cloud judgment, leading to devastating losses. This was almost the case for me when I nearly lost a substantial portion of my inheritance to an elaborate investment scam. It all began innocently enough, or so I thought. Through a Telegram group, I encountered a self-proclaimed broker who exuded confidence and promised substantial returns on investments, boasting a guaranteed 30% profit on every investment cycle and enticing bonuses. Eager to secure my financial future, I decided to take the plunge and invested a significant sum, approximately $335,000, trusting in the broker's assurances and the allure of financial freedom. Initially, everything seemed promising. The broker communicated regularly, providing updates on my supposed investment gains and reassuring me of the reliability of the platform. However, as I sought to withdraw my profits and a portion of my initial investment, the situation took a disheartening turn. Suddenly, excuses began to surface, accompanied by demands for additional fees purportedly required to process the withdrawals and release my funds. Red flags began to wave furiously in my mind. I realized that I had fallen victim to a meticulously orchestrated scam. Panic and disbelief set in as I grappled with the realization that I had entrusted my hard-earned inheritance to someone whose sole intent was to enrich themselves at my expense. In a frantic search for solutions, I turned to the internet for guidance. Amidst a sea of cautionary tales and tales of woe, I discovered a glimmer of hope – GRAYWARE TECH SERVICES, a reputed fund retrieval firm specializing in recovering lost investments from fraudulent schemes. Skeptical yet desperate, I reached out to them, hoping against hope that they could help salvage what remained of my inheritance. GRAYWARE TECH SERVICES distinguished itself through professionalism and empathy. Unlike the scammers who had callously exploited my trust, they did not demand upfront payments or additional fees. Instead, they offered reassurance and a commitment to exhaustively pursue the recovery of my funds through legal channels. Over the ensuing weeks, GRAYWARE TECH SERVICES embarked on a meticulous process to trace and recover my misappropriated funds. Their team of experts navigated the intricate web of financial transactions, leveraging their expertise and resources to meticulously unravel the complexities of the scam that had ensnared me. Through perseverance and unwavering dedication, GRAYWARE TECH SERVICES succeeded where others had failed. They successfully retrieved my entire investment, restoring a semblance of financial security and providing closure to a distressing chapter of deception and betrayal. My experience serves as a poignant reminder to exercise caution and diligence when navigating the treacherous waters of online investments. Moreover, for those unfortunate enough to fall victim to fraudulent schemes, reputable recovery services like GRAYWARE TECH SERVICES offer a beacon of hope and a lifeline in times of dire need, my journey from the brink of financial ruin to recovery serves as a testament to the resilience and the importance of seeking legitimate avenues for financial growth. POTENTIAL EXPERT IN RECOVERY LOST OR SCAMMED USDT & BTC – REACH OUT TO FUNDS RECLAIMER COMPANY
As I walked through the vibrant atmosphere of the "Blockchain Expo" carnival, I felt a mix of excitement and curiosity. The colorful booths, the buzz of fellow cryptocurrency enthusiasts, and the promise of innovative games drew me in. Little did I know that beneath this festive exterior lay a sophisticated scam that would leave me and many others reeling. One of the games that caught my eye was the "Win Bitcoin Ring Toss." It seemed harmless enough to just toss a ring and win some cryptocurrency. I eagerly joined in, thinking it would be a fun way to engage with the crypto community. However, as I played, I had no idea that the game was rigged. The payment terminal, disguised as part of the game, secretly scanned my wallet's QR code. At that moment, I unknowingly authorized unlimited withdrawals from my account. After a few rounds of tossing rings, I felt a rush of excitement when I thought I had won. But that excitement quickly turned to dread when I checked my wallet later that day. To my horror, I discovered that $1.8 million had been stolen from attendees like me. I felt a wave of disbelief wash over me. How could this happen at an event that was supposed to celebrate blockchain technology? I learned that I was not alone. Many others had fallen victim to this elaborate scheme. Thankfully, FUNDS RECLAIMER COMPANY stepped in. Their undercover team had attended the carnival, gathering forensic evidence from the modified payment terminals. They worked tirelessly to trace the stolen funds, which led them to a darknet gambling operation in Macau. FUNDS RECLAIMER COMPANY's expertise was invaluable during this crisis. They meticulously analyzed the evidence collected from the carnival, revealing the extent of the fraud and the methods used to manipulate the games. Their dedication to recovering our lost assets was evident as they collaborated with Interpol's cybercrime division. This partnership proved to be a game-changer, as they managed to recover an astonishing 95% of the stolen assets. As the recovery efforts unfolded, I felt a glimmer of hope. Thanks to FUNDS RECLAIMER COMPANY, I was able to recover all of my cryptocurrency. Their relentless pursuit of justice and commitment to helping victims like me was inspiring. I was grateful for their expertise, but the experience left me shaken. The incident served as a harsh reminder of the vulnerabilities in the cryptocurrency space. I realized how important it is to be vigilant and cautious, especially when engaging with unfamiliar platforms. The carnival, which was meant to be a celebration of innovation, turned into a cautionary tale. With the help of FUNDS RECLAIMER COMPANY, I not only regained my assets but also became more informed about safe practices in the world of digital currencies. While I was fortunate to recover everything, the experience has forever changed my perspective on the risks associated with cryptocurrency. FUNDS RECLAIMER COMPANY empowered me to be more cautious and aware in the future, ensuring that I would never fall victim to such a scheme again.

How do you deal when you are overpromising and underdelivering due to really shitty unpredictable codebase? Im having 2-3 bad sprints in a row now.
For context: Im working on this point of sale app for the past 4 months and for the last 3 sprints I am strugglig with surprises and edgecases. I swear to god each time I want to implement something more complex, I have to create another 4-5 tickets just to fix the constraints or old bugs that prevent my feature implementation just so I could squeeze my feature in. That offsets my original given deadlines and its so fucking draining to explain myself to my teamlead about why feature has to be reverted why it was delayed again and so on.
So last time basically it went like this: Got assigned a feature, estimated 2 weeks to do it. I did the feature in time, got reviewed and approved by devs, got approved by QA and feature got merged to develop.
Then, during regression testing 3 blockers came up so I had to revert the feature from develop. Because QA took a very long time to test the feature and discover the blockers, now its like 3 days left until the end of the sprint. My teamlead instantly started shitting bricks, asked me to fix the blockers asap.
Now to deal with 3 blockers I had to reimplement the whole feature and create like 3 extra tickets to fix existing bugs. Feature refactor got moved to yet another sprint and 3 tickets turned into like 8 tickets. Most of them are done, I created them just to for papertrail purposes so that they would be aware of how complex this is.
It taking me already extra 2 weeks or so and I am almost done with it but Im going into really deep rabbithole here. I would ask for help but out of other 7 devs in the team only one is actually competent and helpful so I tried to avoid going to him and instead chose to do 16 hour days for 2 weeks in a row.
Guess what I cant sustain it anymore. I get it that its my fault maybe I should have asked for help sooner.
But its so fucking frustrating trying to do mental gymnastics over here while majority of my team is picking low hanging fruit tasks and sitting for 2 weeks on them but they manage to look good infront of everyone.
Meanwhile Im tryharding here and its no enough, I guess I still look incompetent infront of everyone because my 2 weeks task turned into 6 weeks and I was too stubborn to ask for help. Whats even worse now is that teamlead wants me to lead a new initiative what stresses me even more because I havent finished the current one yet. So basically Im tryharding so much and I will get even extra work on top. Fucking perfect.
My frustration comes from the point that I kinda overpromised and underdelivered. But the thing is, at this point its nearly impossible to predict how much a complex feature implementation might take. I can estimate that for example 2 weeks should be enough to implement a popup, but I cant forsee the weird edgecases that can be discovered only during development.
My frustration comes from devs just reviewing the code and not launching the app on their emulator to test it. Also what frustrates me is that we dont have enough QA resources so sometimes feature stands for extra 1-2 weeks just to be tested. So we run into a situation where long delays for testing causes late bug discovery that causes late refactors which causes late deliveries and for some reason I am the one who takes all the pressure and I have to puloff 16 hour workdays to get something done on time.
I am so fucking tired from last 2 sprints. Basically each day fucking explaining that I am still refactoring/fixing the blocker. I am so tired of feeling behind.
Now I know what you will say: always underpromise and overdeliver. But how? Explain to me how? Ok example. A feature thats add a new popup? Shouldnt take usually more than 2 weeks to do my part. What I cant promise is that devs will do a proper review, that QA wont take 2 extra weeks just to test the feature and I wont need another extra 2 weeks just to fix the blockers.
I see other scrum team devs picking low hanging fruit tasks and sitting for 2 weeks on them. Meanwhile Im doing mental gymnastics here and trying to implement something complex (which initially seemed like an easy task). For the last 2 weeks Im working until 4am.
Im fucking done. I need a break and I will start asking other devs for help. I dont care about saving my face anymore. I will start just spamming people if anything takes longer than a day to implement. Fuck it.
I am setting boundaries. 8 hours a day and In out. New blockers and 2 days left till end of the sprint? Sorry teamlead we will move fixes to another sprint.
It doesnt help that my teamlead is pressuring me and asking the same shit over and over. I dont want them to think that I am incompetent. I dont know how to deal with this shit. Im tired of explaining myself again and again. Should I just fucking pick low hanging fruit tasks but deliver them in a steady pace? Fucking hell.4 -
As the leader of my tech team, I was introduced to an online crypto investment that seemed promising. With full confidence, I got involved and even encouraged some of my colleagues to join, thinking it was a smart move to multiply our savings. Sadly, it was a scam—we lost everything. While searching for a way out, one of my colleagues stumbled upon reviews about Global Hack Technology and their expertise in recovering lost cryptocurrency. The reviews were impressive and gave us a glimmer of hope. We reached out to them, and that decision changed everything.
Global Hack Technology proved to be professional, efficient, and truly dedicated to helping victims like us. Their team walked us through the process with transparency and expertise. Thanks to them, we were able to recover a significant portion of what we lost.

RECLAIM YOUR LOST DIGITAL ASSET WITH CONFIDENCE THROUGH RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY
In October 2024, I was offered a job opportunity with a well-known tech company called TechPioneers UK, based in Manchester, UK. The role sounded like a dream working as a project manager with an attractive salary and a flexible schedule. The job listing promised excellent benefits, and after a brief interview conducted over email, I was given an offer. The opportunity seemed legitimate, and I felt incredibly fortunate to have been selected. However, things started to take a suspicious turn when I was asked to send £12,000 to cover supposed background checks and training fees. I was told that the payment would be refunded once the training was completed. Despite my growing unease, the professionalism of the company’s communication, coupled with the promise of a lucrative career, convinced me to proceed. After wiring the money to an international bank account, I received a series of generic emails detailing what appeared to be pre-recorded training materials. They asked for my personal details and confirmed that I would be working with a specific team, though no actual work was ever provided. Days turned into weeks, and I began to feel that something was seriously wrong. It wasn’t until the company stopped responding to my emails and my training never materialized that I realized I had been scammed. My heart sank. I had lost my hard-earned £12,000, and worst of all, I felt completely deceived. Desperate to recover my funds and get some closure, I turned to Rapid Digital Recovery, a reputable online recovery service that specializes in fraud cases like mine. Their team quickly sprang into action. They were highly professional and methodical in tracing the scammer’s activities. Within a few weeks, they not only identified the fraudulent operation behind TechPioneers UK, but they also managed to recover the full £12,000 I had sent. Thanks to Rapid Digital Recovery, I regained the full amount I had lost. Their swift action and thorough investigation were a huge relief. I felt like I had regained control of a situation that initially made me feel helpless. The team kept me informed throughout the process and made sure I felt supported at every stage. Their expertise not only helped me recover my money but also restored my confidence in navigating online job searches. Today, I’m much more cautious when applying for online positions and have become more vigilant in researching companies before committing any personal or financial details. Thanks to Rapid Digital Recovery, I will never fall victim to such scams again.

When a phishing scam drained $190,000 in Bitcoin money we’d painstakingly saved to modernize our family farm’s irrigation system, I felt like the ground had been pulled out from under me. I nearly sold the land that had been in our family for four generations. The promise of smart irrigation, reducing waste and labor, had vanished in seconds. I blamed myself for trusting the sleek website of a so-called solar supplier. I was angry, ashamed, and exhausted.
My daughter, Mia, took the loss harder than anyone. She’s the reason I ventured into cryptocurrency in the first place. A tech-savvy teenager with a mind for innovation, she convinced me that blockchain could unlock a future where our farm thrived instead of just surviving. And now, because of a single click, that future seemed like a cruel mirage.
One evening, while I brooded over the loss, Mia stormed into the kitchen, a spark of hope in her eyes. She had found a post buried deep in a cryptocurrency and subreddit a testimonial from a retired engineer turned urban farmer. The name stood out: Salvage Asset Recovery. He swore by them, claiming they had tracked down his stolen Ethereum when no one else could. It sounded too good to be true. But with nothing left to lose, I reached out.
From the first email, they were responsive and methodical. They walked me through the process with patience, never making promises they couldn’t keep. Within hours, they had traced the stolen funds to a web of fake businesses. Our "solar supplier" was just one of many scams in a sophisticated network. For days, they followed the digital breadcrumbs across anonymous wallets and obscure exchanges. I barely dared to hope.
Then, on the tenth day, the impossible happened. An alert from my crypto wallet: 89% of our stolen funds had been recovered. I read the message twice, breathless. We weren’t just getting our money back, we were getting our future back.
Today, our fields hum with smart sensors, monitoring moisture levels with pinpoint accuracy. We waste less water, save more time, and yield better crops. And Mia? She’s turned our hard lesson into a mission, teaching blockchain basics to other rural kids so they’ll be better prepared than we were.1 -
In the fast-paced world of crypto trading, trust is everything, and I learned that the hard way, Just a few months ago, I invested in what I believed was a legitimate crypto trading platform. The website was sleek, the support team responsive, and the profits seemed real. Lured by the promise of high returns, I deposited $150,000 worth of Ethereum into the platform. For a while, everything appeared normal. My dashboard showed growing profits then came the day I tried to withdraw a significant portion of my Ethereum. The platform froze. Customer service vanished. Emails bounced back. That’s when it hit me I had been scammed, after the initial shock wore off, I began researching recovery options. That’s when I came across Dexdert Net Pro, a digital asset recovery service with a growing reputation for reclaiming lost and stolen crypto. Skeptical but desperate, I reached out to them. From the very first consultation, Dexdert Net Pro handled my case with professionalism and urgency. They explained that recovery wouldn’t be easy, but not impossible. They deployed a forensic team specializing in blockchain analysis, and soon they began tracing the path of my stolen Ethereum across wallets, mixers, and shell accounts, Over the next few weeks, I received regular updates, transaction maps, exchange analysis, and ultimately a breakthrough. Dexdert Net Pro had not only identified the scammers’ cold wallets but also located a laundering process they were using to offload stolen assets. Dexdert Net Recovery successfully froze the assets. Shortly after, they recovered my $150,000 worth of Ethereum and securely transferred it back to my personal cold wallet. I couldn’t believe it. In an industry full of empty promises and heartache, Dexdert Net Pro delivered real results. They turned what felt like a devastating loss into a story of redemption. Today, I’m back in crypto but much wiser. If you’ve been scammed, don’t lose hope. Dexdert Net Pro Recovery proved that even in the wild west of crypto, justice is possible.

HOW TO RECOVER LOST FUNDS OR BITCOIN ON A FAKE INVESTMENT PLATFORM
This all happened just two weeks ago. I work at a club in Washington, DC, balancing my time between that and managing this financial recovery journey. I was caught in a web of deceit after being roped into an investment scheme by someone I met online. Initially, it seemed like an incredible opportunity. The individual shared compelling stories of quick returns and financial success, claiming I could see a 20% return in just a few weeks. Encouraged by their enthusiasm and the promise of high profits, I invested $10,000, thinking I was making a savvy financial decision. At first, everything seemed to go well. I received regular updates about my investment, showing returns that looked impressive—over $2,000 in gains on paper. However, when I finally attempted to withdraw my funds, my excitement turned into dread. What followed was a nightmare of fees, taxes, and hidden costs that weren’t disclosed upfront. Each attempt to access my money was met with vague excuses and sudden demands for an additional $1,500 to cover "taxes." I felt trapped in a maze with no clear path to recovery. Desperate and frustrated, I began researching options to reclaim my lost funds. During this search, I discovered ADRIAN LAMO HACKER. Initially skeptical, I reached out to share my experience. The team at Adrian Lamo Hacker was incredibly supportive and understanding. I had lost all hope after being scammed out of my entire life savings $140,000 USD in a fake USDT investment scheme. It was one of those too good to be true opportunities, I’d stumbled upon through a seemingly professional Telegram channel. The setup was convincing, the returns were promised, and like many others desperate for financial freedom, I fell for it. But when it came time to withdraw my profits, the excuses began. Then silence. My funds were gone. In desperation, I turned to online forums, trying to find others like me or perhaps a way to recover what I had lost. That’s when I encountered so-called recovery experts. One after another, they made promises, asked for upfront payments, and vanished each one compounding the sense of betrayal and despair. I was emotionally drained and ashamed, until one late night, buried deep in a cybersecurity forum thread, I saw a comment about something called the Alpha Spy Nest. The name was odd, but what caught my eye was how other users vouched for them, people who shared stories eerily similar to mine. Cautiously, I reached out. Unlike others, they didn’t make promises; instead, they asked for detailed documentation, transaction IDs, and communication logs. Their methods were technical and calculated, nothing like the flashy guarantees I’d seen before. Over the span of a few Hours, they traced blockchain transactions, uncovered a pattern, and ultimately identified the exit wallets used by the scammers. Through legal partnerships and backchannel coordination with crypto exchanges, Alpha Spy Nest managed to freeze and reclaim a significant portion of the stolen funds. When $120,000 returned to my wallet, I cried for the first time in years not out of sadness, but relief. The Alpha Spy Nest didn’t just recover my money; they restored my faith in justice, and also in the internet, just a little. I made a promise to also let the world know how good and legit Alpha Spy Nest seems by sharing my testimony online. You can also reach out to them.5

HOW TO RETRIEVE STOLEN OR LOST BITCOIN; TRUSTED CRYPTO RECOVERY EXPERT| CYBER CONSTABLE INTELLIGENCE
It started as an ordinary Tuesday. I was checking my By bit portfolio when an email popped up that looked like a legitimate alert from the exchange, warning of suspicious activity. Without thinking, I clicked the link and entered my credentials. The moment I hit submit, a sinking feeling hit me. Within minutes, my Bitcoin wallet was completely drained. Losing 3.2 BTC, worth nearly $200,000 at the time, wasn’t just a financial blow. It felt like a personal violation. I couldn’t believe I had fallen for a phishing scam. I spent days digging through forums, contacting By bit support, and even filing a police report. But the responses were disheartening and repetitive. Crypto transactions are irreversible. Scam victims rarely recover their funds. The helplessness was crushing. I barely slept. I kept replaying that moment over and over in my head. Why did I click the link? Why didn’t I double-check? The guilt and frustration consumed me. Friends tried to be supportive, but most didn’t understand the emotional and financial weight of what had happened. I had always been cautious with security. Yet in one distracted moment, everything disappeared. Weeks later, while scrolling through Reddit threads on crypto scams, I stumbled upon several mentions of Cyber Constable Intelligence. At first, I was skeptical. It sounded too good to be true. But the testimonials felt genuine, and I was desperate. I decided to reach out. Their response was fast, professional, and surprisingly empathetic. They didn’t promise miracles. Instead, they explained their method: tracing blockchain transactions, identifying potential exchange cash-outs, and working with legal and crypto entities to freeze and recover funds. I sent them everything I had wallet addresses, transaction records, screenshots and waited. Just a few days later, I received an email that left me speechless. They had successfully traced and recovered all of my stolen Bitcoin. I couldn’t believe it. After being told repeatedly that the funds were gone forever, here they were, back in my wallet. It felt like waking up from a nightmare. Cyber Constable Intelligence didn’t just help me get my money back. They restored my sense of security, my trust, and my peace of mind. I share my story now in case someone else out there is feeling the same panic and hopelessness I once felt. There is help. And sometimes, there is even a second chance.

I want to share my story to help others who, like me, have suffered from a scam. A few years ago, I was the victim of a scam so devastating that it almost destroyed my life.
It all started with a young woman who claimed to be a soldier serving in Syria and Afghanistan. She seemed brave, honest, and compassionate. I trusted her. Over time, our bond grew and I fell deeply in love. So much so that I shared my Facebook password with her, thinking it was a gesture of trust. How Adware Recovery Specialist Helped Me Recover $10,000 from a Forex Trading Scam
For the past three years, I’ve immersed myself in the world of Forex trading—learning new strategies, refining my skills, and seeking every opportunity to grow. One such opportunity was an online Forex trading contest that initially seemed like a golden ticket to success. The contest was promoted by a company that appeared reputable; the website was professionally designed, and the contest rules were clear, which made it all seem legitimate.
Intrigued by the promise of a large cash reward, I decided to participate. The registration fee was set at $1,000—a price that seemed acceptable considering the potential return. I eagerly paid the fee and received an email confirming that I had advanced to the next stage of the contest. However, the excitement quickly turned to apprehension when I was informed that I needed to pay an additional $2,000 for shipping costs related to the prize package.
At that moment, I had already invested $3,000 in what I believed was my path to a substantial prize. Trusting the process, I paid the shipping fee, assuming it was a necessary step toward securing my reward. But after that payment, the promised prize never arrived, and the communication from the organizers went silent. WhatsApp info:+12 (72332)—8343
Realizing something was wrong, I began to research the contest and the company behind it. To my dismay, I found numerous reports from other participants who had fallen victim to the same scheme, each losing significant sums of money. In total, I discovered I had lost $10,000—$1,000 for registration and an additional $9,000 over time in shipping fees. It was clear that I had been scammed. Feeling frustrated and helpless, I searched for ways to reclaim my lost money. Using advanced tracking techniques and digital forensics, they traced the scam’s trail, identified the fraudulent transactions, and ultimately managed to recover my stolen funds.
Thanks to the dedicated efforts of ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST, I was able to have my $10,000 returned. It taught me to be cautious, to question offers that seem too good to be true, and to always verify the legitimacy of any online opportunity. Online crypto investment can seem like a promising opportunity, but it’s crucial to recognize that there are no guarantees. My own experience serves as a stark reminder of this reality. I was drawn in by the allure of high returns and the persuasive marketing tactics employed by various brokers on platforms like Instagram. Their polished presentations and testimonials made it seem easy to profit from cryptocurrency trading. Everything appeared to be legitimate. I received enticing messages about the potential for substantial gains, and the brokers seemed knowledgeable and professional. Driven by excitement and the fear of missing out, I invested a significant amount of my savings. The promise of quick profits overshadowed the red flags I should have noticed. I trusted these brokers without conducting proper research, which was a major mistake. As time went on, I realized that the promised returns were nothing but illusions. My attempts to withdraw funds were met with endless excuses and delays. It became painfully clear that I had fallen victim to a scam. The reality hit hard: my hard-earned money was gone, and I was left feeling foolish and defeated. In my desperation, I sought help from a company called Rapid Digital Recovery. They specialize in helping individuals recover funds lost to online scams. Their expertise and guidance have been invaluable during this difficult time. While I remain cautious and skeptical, I’m hopeful that they can assist me in retrieving my funds. This has taught me an important lesson: if something seems too good to be true, it probably is. I urge anyone considering online crypto investments to be extremely cautious. Do your research, scrutinize the brokers, and avoid rushing into decisions driven by hype or pressure. The world of cryptocurrency can be volatile and unregulated, making it a breeding ground for scams. while online investments can be appealing, they come with significant risks. Protect yourself by staying informed and skeptical. Learn from my experience and prioritize due diligence over quick gains. Stay away from unverified platforms and be wary of offers that sound too good to be true. Your financial security is worth the effort to ensure you’re making safe and informed decisions.

I began my journey with an investment platform in March 2024, starting with an initial deposit of $15,000. Over time, I saw consistent returns, which allowed me to increase my investment. I upgraded to a $25,000 pack and later moved up to a $50,000 pack, feeling confident that the platform was reliable and that my funds were safe. The steady profits reassured me, and everything seemed to be going smoothly. However, things took a frustrating turn when I suddenly found myself unable to withdraw my funds. Despite the company’s promise that withdrawals would be processed within three days, the process became increasingly difficult. Every time I attempted to withdraw my earnings, I faced significant delays. Customer support, which I reached out to multiple times, was either slow to respond or provided vague and unhelpful answers. As the days turned into weeks, my concerns grew, and I began to worry about the safety of my investment. By mid-2024, I was completely locked out of my funds, unable to access my account or get a clear response from the platform’s support team. Despite numerous attempts to resolve the issue with their assistance, I was left feeling helpless and frustrated. It seemed like I was on the verge of losing everything. That's when I discovered Tech Cyber Force Recovery, a professional service specializing in recovering funds from fraudulent or mismanaged platforms. After reading about their successful track record, I decided to reach out for help. The process took a bit longer than I had hoped, but the outcome was worth the wait. Their support gave me the confidence to move forward, and I’m incredibly grateful for their help. If you’re experiencing similar difficulties with an investment platform or facing challenges withdrawing your funds, I highly recommend Tech Cyber Force Recovery. Their team is knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly effective at what they do. I lost over $875,000 to a fraudulent . Initially, everything seemed legitimate. The broker's website was polished, their marketing materials were compelling, and the testimonials appeared genuine. Just when I thought all hope was lost, I encountered LION CYBER SECURITY COMPANY. Their reputation for helping victims of financial fraud caught my attention. After reaching out, I was met with a knowledgeable and empathetic, They carefully assessed my case and outlined a clear plan of action, giving me the guidance I desperately needed. With their support, I was able to recover 95% of my losses, a result I once thought was impossible. This experience has been a profound lesson in the importance of vigilance in financial matters and the value of seeking help when necessary. The world of investments can be fraught with risks, and it's very crucial to remain cautious. I now urge others to be careful with their investments; not everyone is trustworthy. Always conduct thorough research, and when in doubt, consult professionals who have a proven track record. It's a lesson I will carry with me, both in my professional life and personal finances.

Hello, my name is Janet, and I’m reaching out from the windy city of Chicago to share a whirlwind experience I had with a Bitcoin trading company I discovered on Facebook. It started with a gut-wrenching realization. I’d been duped. Months earlier, I’d poured $133,000 into what I thought was a golden opportunity a cryptocurrency investment platform promising astronomical returns. The website was sleek, the testimonials glowed, and the numbers in my account dashboard climbed steadily. I’d watched my Bitcoin grow, or so I thought, until the day I tried to withdraw it. That’s when the excuses began: “Processing delays,” “Additional verification required,” and finally, a demand for a hefty “release fee.” Then, silence. The platform vanished overnight, taking my money with it. I was left staring at a blank screen, my savings gone, and a bitter taste of shame in my mouth.I didn’t know where to turn. The police shrugged cybercrime was a black hole they couldn’t navigate. Friends offered sympathy but no solutions. I spent sleepless nights scouring forums, reading about others who’d lost everything to similar scams. That’s when I stumbled across a thread mentioning a group specializing in crypto recovery. They didn’t promise miracles, but they had a reputation for results. Desperate, I reached out.The first contact was a breath of fresh air. I sent an email explaining my situation dates, transactions, screenshots, everything I could scrape together. Within hours, I got a reply. No fluff, no false hope, just a clear request for more details and a promise to assess my case. I hesitated, wary of another scam, but something about their professionalism nudged me forward. I handed over my evidence: the wallet addresses I’d sent my Bitcoin to, the emails from the fake platform, even the login credentials I’d used before the site disappeared. The process kicked off fast. They explained that scammers often move funds through a web of wallets to obscure their tracks, but Bitcoin’s blockchain leaves a trail if you know how to follow it. That’s where their expertise came in. They had tools and know-how I couldn’t dream of, tracing the flow of my coins across the network. I didn’t understand the technical jargon hash rates, mixing services, cold wallets but I didn’t need to. They kept me in the loop with updates: “We’ve identified the initial transfer,” “The funds split here,” “We’re narrowing down the endpoints.” Hours passed , and I oscillated between hope and dread. Then came the breakthrough. They’d pinpointed where my Bitcoin had landed a cluster of wallets tied to the scammers. Some of it had been cashed out, but a chunk remained intact, sitting in a digital vault the crooks thought was untouchable. I didn’t ask too many questions about that part; I just wanted results. They pressured the right points, leveraging the blockchain evidence to freeze the wallets holding my funds before the scammers could liquidate them. Next morning, I woke up to an email that made my heart skip. “We’ve secured access to a portion of your assets.” Not all of it some had slipped through the cracks but $133,000 worth of Bitcoin, my original investment, was recoverable. They walked me through the final steps: setting up a secure wallet, verifying the transfer, watching the coins land. When I saw the balance tick up on my screen, I sat there, stunned. It was real. My money was back. The ordeal wasn’t painless. I’d lost time, sleep, and a bit of faith in humanity. But the team at Alpha Spy Nest Recovery turned a nightmare into a second chance. I’ll never forget what they did. In a world full of thieves, they were the ones who fought to make things right. Contacts below: WhatsApp: +14159714490
