First off, a Merry Christmas to everyone who celebrates, happy holidays to everyone, and happy almost-new-year!
Tim and I are very happy with the year devRant has had, and thinking back, there are a lot of 2017 highlights to recap. Here are just a few of the ones that come to mind (this list is not exhaustive and I'm definitley forgetting stuff!):
- We introduced the devRant supporter program (devRant++)! (https://devrant.com/rants/638594/...). Thank you so much to everyone who has embraced devRant++! This program has helped us significantly and it's made it possible for us to mantain our current infrustructure and not have to cut down on servers/sacrifice app performance and stability.
- We added avatar pets (https://devrant.com/rants/455860/...)
- We finally got the domain devrant.com thanks to @wiardvanrij (https://devrant.com/rants/938509/...)
- The first international devRant meetup (Dutch) with organized by @linuxxx and was a huge success (https://devrant.com/rants/937319/... + https://devrant.com/rants/935713/...)
- We reached 50,000 downloads on Android (https://devrant.com/rants/728421/...)
- We introduced notif tabs (https://devrant.com/rants/1037456/...), which make it easy to filter your in-app notifications by type
- @AlexDeLarge became the first devRant user to hit 50,000++ (https://devrant.com/rants/885432/...), and @linuxxx became the first to hit 75,000++
- We made an April Fools joke that got a lot of people mad at us and hopefully got some laughs too (https://devrant.com/rants/506740/...)
- We launched devDucks!! (https://devducks.com)
- We got rid of the drawer menu in our mobile apps and switched to a tab layout
- We added the ability to subscribe to any user's rants (https://devrant.com/rants/538170/...)
- Introduced the post type selector (https://devrant.com/rants/850978/...) (which will be used for filtering - more details below)
- Started a bug/feature tracker GitHub repo (https://github.com/devRant/devRant)
- We did our first ever live stream (https://youtube.com/watch/...)
- Added an awesome all-black theme (devRant++) (https://devrant.com/rants/850978/...)
- We created an "active discussions" screen within the app so you can easily find rants with booming discussions!
- Thanks to the suggestion of many community members, we added "scroll to bottom" functionality to rants with long comment threads to make those rants more usable
- We improved our app stability and set our personal record for uptime, and we also cut request times in half with some database cluster upgrades
- Awesome new community projects: https://devrant.com/projects (more will be added to the list soon, sorry for the delay!)
- A new landing page for web (https://devrant.com), that was the first phase of our web overhaul coming soon (see below)
Even after all of this stuff, Tim and I both know there is a ton of work to do going forward and we want to continue to make devRant as good as it can be. We rely on your feedback to make that happen and we encourage everyone to keep submitting and discussing ideas in the bug/feature tracker (https://github.com/devRant/devRant).
We only have a little bit of the roadmap right now, but here's some things 2018 will bring:
- A brand new devRant web app: we've heard the feedback loud and clear. This is our top priority right now, and we're happy to say the completely redesigned/overhauled devRant web experience is almost done and will be released in early 2018. We think everyone will really like it.
- Functionality to filter rants by type: this feature was always planned since we introduced notif types, and it will soon be implemented. The notif type filter will allow you to select the types of rants you want to see for any of the sorting methods.
- App stability and usability: we want to dedicate a little time to making sure we don't forget to fix some long-standing bugs with our iOS/Android apps. This includes UI issues, push notification problems on Android, any many other small but annoying problems. We know the stability and usability of devRant is very important to the community, so it's important for us to give it the attention it deserves.
- Improved profiles/avatars: we can't reveal a ton here yet, but we've got some pretty cool ideas that we think everyone will enjoy.
- Private messaging: we think a PM system can add a lot to the app and make it much more intuitive to reach out to people privately. However, Tim and I believe in only launching carefully developed features, so rest assured that a lot of thought will be going into the system to maximize privacy, provide settings that make it easy to turn off, and provide security features that make it very difficult for abuse to take place. We're also open to any ideas here, so just let us know what you might be thinking.
There will be many more additions, but those are just a few we have in mind right now.
We've had a great year, and we really can't thank every member of the devRant community enough. We've always gotten amazingly positive feedback from the community, and we really do appreciate it. One of the most awesome things is when some compliments the kindness of the devRant community itself, which we hear a lot. It really is such a welcoming community and we love seeing devs of all kind and geographic locations welcomed with open arms.
2018 will be an important year for devRant as we continue to grow and we will need to continue the momentum. We think the ideas we have right now and the ones that will come from community feedback going forward will allow us to make this a big year and continue to improve the devRant community.
Thanks everyone, and thanks for your amazing contributions to the devRant community!
Looking forward to 2018,
- David and Tim54
Latest update for the devRant app has some new twists: 1) collabs are now free for all 2) black theme is available for devRant++ members 3) when posting a rant we now ask for you to classify the rant as a specific type of post. RIP !rant :/ To be clear, this isn't meant to say that any posted content needs to be different than what everyone is doing already, just that the extra categorization helps all parties who like or dislike different types of content. This categorization will help better inform the algo and allow for advanced filtering which is coming soon.
If you have any questions, comments or concerns please ask me or @dfox in this thread.66
I was activating virtualenv in powershell when my younger brother came in.
Me: *all nervous* please don't think I'm hacking or trying to set off a bomb. (He always thinks I'm hacking and tells on me.)
Me: *even more nervous* I don't want my laptop to get taken away. Don't tell on me and say I'm hacking, because I'm not.
Brother: Oh, I know you're not hacking this time.
Me: You do? *relieved.*
Brother: Yeah, because this time it's a blue background, not a black one.
Me: Oh, haha. So you're only scared of things such as these? *opens CMD and Git Bash* you know, just because it's dark themed, doesn't mean it's malicious. Besides it—
Brother: oooOooOh! You're hacking again! I'm telling on you!
*Note to self: Never use dark theme in front of the ignorant again.)50
My boss intentionally changed my IDE font color to black since im using dark theme. I was literally confused a solid 30 minutes.
// devRant unofficial UWP update (v2.0.0-beta)
After several concepts, about 11 months of development (keep in mind that I released 20 updates for v1 in the meantime, so it wasn't a continous 11 months long development process) and a short closed beta phase, v2 is now available for everyone (as public beta)! :)
I tried to improve the app in every aspect, from finally responsive and good looking UI on Desktop version to backend performance improvements, which means that I almost coded it from scratch.
There are also of course a few new features (like "go to bottom" in rants), and more to come.
It's a very huge update, and unfortunately to move forward, improve the UI (add Fluent Design) and make it at the same level of new UWP apps, I was forced to drop the supported for these old Windows 10 builds:
- Threshold 1 (10240)
- Threshold 2 (10586)
Too many incompatiblity issues with the new UI, and for 1 person with a lot of other commitments outside this project (made for free, just for passion), it's impossible to work at 3 parallel versions of the same app.
I already done something like that during these 11 months (every single of the 20 updates for v1 needed to be implemented a second time for v2).
During the closed beta tests, thanks to the awesome testers who helped me way too much than I ever wished, I found out that there are already incompatiblity issues with Anniversary Update, which means that I will support two versions:
1) One for Creators Update and newer builds.
2) One for Anniversary Update (same features, but missing Fluent Design since it doesn't work on that OS version, and almost completly rewritten XAML styles).
For this reason v2 public beta is out now for Creators Update (and newer) as regular update, and will be out in a near future (can't say when) also for the Anniversary Update.
The users with older OS versions (problem which on PC could be solved in 1-2 days, just download updates) can download only the v1.5.9 (which probably won't be supported with new updates anymore, except for particular critcal bug fixes).
So if you have Windows 10 on PC and want to use v2 today, just be sure you have Creators Update or Fall Creators Update.
If you have Windows 10 PC with Anniversary Update, update it, or if you don't want to do that, wait a few weeks/months for the update with support for your build.
If you have an older version on PC, update it, or enjoy v1.5.9.
If you have Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update, update it (if it's possible for your device), or just wait a few weeks/months for the update with support for your build.
If you have Windows 10 Mobile, and because of Microsoft stupid policy, you can't update to Anniversary Update, enjoy v1.5.9, or try the "unofficial" method (registry hack) to update to a newer build.
I hope it's enough clear why not everyone can receive the update today, or at all. :P
Now I would like to thank a few people who made this possible.
As always, @dfox who is always available for help me with API implementations.
@thmnmlist, who helped me a lot during this period with really great UI suggestions (just check out his twitter, it's a really good person, friend, designer and artist: https://twitter.com/thmnmlist).
And of course everyone of the closed beta testers, that reported bugs and precious suggestions (some of them already implemented, others will arrive soon).
The order is random:
Changelog of v2.0.0-beta:
- New UI with Fluent Design and huge improvements for Desktop;
- Added native support for Fall Creators Update (Build 16299);
- Changed minimum supported version to Creators Update (Build 15063), support for Anniversary Update (Build 14393) will arrive soon;
- Added mouse support for Pull-To-Refresh;
- Added ability to change your username and email;
- Added ability to filter (by 'Day', 'Week', 'Month' and 'All') the top Rants;
- Added ability to open rant links in-app;
- Added ability to zoom GIFs (just tap on them in the Rant View);
- Added 'go to bottom' button in the Rant View (if more than 3 comments);
- Added new theme ('Total Black');
- ...complete changelog in-app and on my website (can't post it here because of the 5000 characters limit)...
What will arrive in future updates:
- 'Active Discussions' screen so you can easily find rants that have recent comments/discussions;
- Support for 'Collabs';
- Push Notifications (it was postponed and announced too many times...);
- More themes and themes options;
- and more...
If you still didn't download devRant unofficial UWP, do it now: https://microsoft.com/store/apps/...
If you find some bugs or you have feature suggestion, post it on the Issue Tracker on GitHub (thanks in advance for your help!): https://github.com/JakubSteplowski/...
I hope you will enjoy it! ;)54
Coworker: I wish excel had a dark theme.
Other coworker: it does just use this macro
Ctrl + A, Ctrl + A, Alt + HH + right arrow + enter.
I tried it... it selects every cell in the whole worksheet and changes the background color to black.5
// devRant unofficial UWP update (v1.5.6)
A new update for Windows 10 users is in certification right now (will be available in a few hours/days), with the new feature you could see a few days ago on the official client.
But the main reason of this post is that I've seen the success of the official Issue Tracker created in August by @dfox and @trogus on GitHub.
For this reason I decided to do the same for the unofficial client.
Feel free to post bugs reports (I prefer this method instead of emails) and requests of features (even if not available in the official client) you would like to see.
Complete changelog of v1.5.6:
- Added new 'post type' selector for easier classification of rant types in the future;
- Added Official devRant unofficial Issue Tracker on GitHub;
- Added Feedback page with link to GitHub Issue Tracker repo;
- Added black theme... no, wait... already there.
- Minor UI improvements;
- Minor back-end improvements;
I hope to see a lot of interesting feature requests I will enjoy to implement to make the UWP client always the best for you, Windows community. 😁18
Scariest Web Page i Made:
So i was outside the hotel where my friend works, as he went away to submit work related papers and i sat in the car.
The car was parked in the middle of two others. To pass time i started working on my Web Page..
To me it was just a simple html,css,js source code..(wasn't even client side)...
To the other non-programmer hotel staff (Prying) eyes it was:
A shady guy, dressed in black in a car parked outside the server room. To top that off i had Dark theme on my editor.
So now two staff members are staring at me from outside the car...
I was well aware of what message this whole setup might be sending.
So i got a little anxious and did one thing that i should not have done i.e started looking at them with coy eyes as i typed.
Next minute i was being asked to step outside the car.
I was scared,not by the situation ... i was scared of their ignorance and how would i explain what those many colored lines on a black screen meant.
However it was solved..... but i knew this was the scariest page i ever made.6
work in progress, context: https://devrant.com/rants/1554316/... (see comments there, for more previews)35
Devrant black theme is here! Thanks to @Floydian and @Stuxnet for the idea and the tag! You can also grayscale all images, for that late night devrant viewing.
Previous rant: https://devrant.com/rants/1554399/...91
customer: make it black
me: if i make it black, text will be unreadable, also it doesnt fit with theme
customer: i dont care make it back
me: -makes it-
customer: it didnt fit with theme, revert it back
p2p working with people outside tech industry
So, today I asked my senior developer a query he took my laptop and changed the ide theme to black.
My doubts were solved, I am enlightened programmer now.8
By now, I've completely switched every dark theme with a light theme, for the following reasons:
1) Research has shown that black on white is objectively more legible than white on black
2) Almost all programs have light themes, many don't have dark themes. Also, different dark themes often don't match as well because the background color might have a strong tint to it. So getting a consistent look with dark themes is super difficult.
3) Light themes don't hurt your eyes if you don't sit in a dark room staring at a bright monitor. Let some daylight in and put lamps on at night while using a redshift app. Your eyes can handle the brightness, it's only straining if you constantly switch between really bright and really dark.
In the end, it doesn't really matter, use what you want. Some people might argue that dark themes just look nicer, with which I agree. However, for work purposes, I realized looks shouldn't matter as much as practicality. And I very much realized that a light theme is much more practicable at work.
Why am I writing this? Because there's this huge circlejerk about dark themes that made me believe shit like light themes being straining and kept me from seriously trying one. That's shitty, so I recommend y'all try one seriously if you haven't yet, and then decide which you prefer. And with trying seriously, I don't mean switching to a light theme for ten seconds and screaming how painful it is to look at. No wonder it is a little straining in the beginning if you just used a dark theme for hours. Getting out into the sun after spending an hour in a dark room also hurts, that doesn't mean being outside always hurts your eyes.39
GitHub should change it's default theme to black. And so should medium artciles. Any thoughts ? 😊21
Areally appreciate this "blackest black" theme. It's definitely gonna help devRant not drain my battery so much as I'm surfing on my Galaxy S8 Plus with it's AMOLED display.
Yay for saving battery!15
I like dark themes but I really don't like it when the black of the desktop theme is clashing with a different shade of black in the program2
!rant && awesome
The blackest black theme is awesome!
Thanks @trogus and @dfox for this great update! 😎
Now back to work...4
I spend multiple hours on devrant a day, so I guess it's probably worth two bucks a month to me. So here goes.2
I was bored, so I made a quick devRantron theme based on the green, black and violet found in Maniac Mansion. Its just a quick work, but it works for me.
Here is the string: #000000, #000000, #6ad070, #000000, #6ad070, #d37eee3
Well... I guess I'm about to part money to devRant literally just for the purpose of getting the black theme 🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚🌚2
I just noticed that the about page doesn't go all black. Is it a bug or is it intentionally left that way?8
When you’re use to dark theme and the lights in your car are too bright, you black electrical tape all the things...
I’m either more sensitive to light, or I’ve adapted to dark theme-ing all the things.21
I am such a 1337 Hackerman. I always use dark theme, Terminal is always opened with black and green theme, and loud sunthwave music blasting from my computer. No wonder everyone around me thinks that I am a haxxor.
EDIT: I also forgot to add that I keep playing old school roguelike Terminal games like Dwarf Fortress and Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead. I also am a big fan of the Commodore machines. Jesus Christ, I am quite a geek, huh?1
Mood swings are:
When you get bored of black theme and change to light theme.
And later changing back to the good old dark theme6
Loving this platform and I'm very close to being convinced of getting the sexy black theme, but only when my stickers arrive, living in India.
When can I expect them on my bae(XPS 15), since I sent the mail about 3 days ago.. CANT WAITTTYYYY11
Hey, here's a suggestion.
I bet that there are lots of people who cannot afford the supporter ++, monthly cost(like me), but still want that black theme.
And my suggestion is to have another way to get something similar, maybe a gold badge, and you get it when you reach a certain number of ++'s, E.g. 1000.
What do you think?14
I'm really curious about how many people use the light and black theme in devRant (I'll call the default dark one dark, the pro one black)
I'm a dark theme user (it's kinda unique to devRant)
My guess is 5% Light, 85% Dark, 10% Black Theme.15
Dear theme designers, unless you are designing an app specifically with OLED in mind... Do not use black as a main background colour.
It just looks horrible IMO, key example on good dark theme is the windows store and a example of horrible dark theming is the settings app.
And mini rant over.2
So I agree with some arguments against using dark themes but only because they all seem to be about white text on black, but I would never use that as a dark theme... (who would?) Dark shades are where it's at! Take devRant itself as an example.
I had a hockey accident where the hockey stick hook caught me in the eye and among many other things, tore my iris to the point that the doctors couldn't stitch it (something about cutting being reparable but tearing not :/ )
Luckily with some exercises, it healed a lot in its own but still let's in about double the light it should. Since then, black on white for more than a few hours will, without fail, give me a migraine. But then so would white on black, too much light allowed in means that white on black give an almost blurry effect on the characters. Hence, colour shades for the win :D
Just my 2 cents ¯\_(ツ)_/¯1
Is it just me or does changing the theme on Notepad++ to Deep Black make everyone's code feel like it has the complexity of Autodesk Maya?
Ok wow. Upgraded to be a ++ supporter the other day, and may I say I thought having a dark theme as a perk for being a supporter was downright silly.
I stand corrected, the black on an AMOLED screen is actually amazing. Thanks, dfox and trogus.4
I love Google Docs.
I hate their white-only style.
I love writing at night...
It wasn't like full broken page, no... only some elements were broken, but in places it'd burn your eye out in 2am when the theme is almost black.
I felt like I have to do something, because I don't want to lose the Docs at night, but writing on their email list would be like talking to the wall. Then they updated again, some elements changed again and I was like... man, fuck you!
div#doclist > div > div > div > div > div > div > div > div+div
div#doclist > div > div > div > div > div > div > div > div > div > div+div
It works, if you are interested: https://github.com/KeyWeeUsr/...18
Received the one plus 3T I ordered from there U.S. as it's not sold in S.A.
I don't remember the last time I was this excited about a new phone.
I just love it. The black theme is gorgeous5
I’M COMIC SANS, ASSHOLE
Listen up. I know the shit you’ve been saying behind my back. You think I’m stupid. You think I’m immature. You think I’m a malformed, pathetic excuse for a font. Well think again, nerdhole, because I’m Comic Sans, and I’m the best thing to happen to typography since Johannes fucking Gutenberg.
You don’t like that your coworker used me on that note about stealing her yogurt from the break room fridge? You don’t like that I’m all over your sister-in-law’s blog? You don’t like that I’m on the sign for that new Thai place? You think I’m pedestrian and tacky? Guess the fuck what, Picasso. We don’t all have seventy-three weights of stick-up-my-ass Helvetica sitting on our seventeen-inch MacBook Pros. Sorry the entire world can’t all be done in stark Eurotrash Swiss type. Sorry some people like to have fun. Sorry I’m standing in the way of your minimalist Bauhaus-esque fascist snoozefest. Maybe sometime you should take off your black turtleneck, stop compulsively adjusting your Tumblr theme, and lighten the fuck up for once.
People love me. Why? Because I’m fun. I’m the life of the party. I bring levity to any situation. Need to soften the blow of a harsh message about restroom etiquette? SLAM. There I am. Need to spice up the directions to your graduation party? WHAM. There again. Need to convey your fun-loving, approachable nature on your business’ website? SMACK. Like daffodils in motherfucking spring.
When people need to kick back, have fun, and party, I will be there, unlike your pathetic fonts. While Gotham is at the science fair, I’m banging the prom queen behind the woodshop. While Avenir is practicing the clarinet, I’m shredding “Reign In Blood” on my double-necked Stratocaster. While Univers is refilling his allergy prescriptions, I’m racing my tricked-out, nitrous-laden Honda Civic against Tokyo gangsters who’ll kill me if I don’t cross the finish line first. I am a sans serif Superman and my only kryptonite is pretentious buzzkills like you.
It doesn’t even matter what you think. You know why, jagoff? Cause I’m famous. I am on every major operating system since Microsoft fucking Bob. I’m in your signs. I’m in your browsers. I’m in your instant messengers. I’m not just a font. I am a force of motherfucking nature and I will not rest until every uptight armchair typographer cock-hat like you is surrounded by my lovable, comic-book inspired, sans-serif badassery.
Enough of this bullshit. I’m gonna go get hammered with Papyrus.

"White" Background is killing my eyes..
Please make "Black" as default website background color.
(Common google, atleast make dark theme for all of your apps)
(Who think is a good idea that your google launcher background default color is fucking White, Drop your default bright colorscheme bullshit. Hey you fraeking huge company, stop this trend please.)
(For every designer with dark colorscheme, Thank you for making my life easier.)2
Dark theme or Light theme??
Some ranters here become fanatics about dark theme. and this subject turned out from a personal choice to a standard, and people start calling light theme "garbage", "crap" etc...
First of all, for the grand range of people the light theme is healthier and more clear, some researches were made on this topic and found that ark characters on a light background are superior to light characters on a dark background (when the refresh rate is fairly high). Also, with a bright display (white background) the iris closes a bit more, decreasing the effect of the "deformed" lens; with a dark display (black background) the iris opens to receive more light and the deformation of the lens creates a much fuzzier focus at the eye.
Like I said, it's a personal choice, so stop being lame and pretend that dark theme is the slogan of developers. Don't get it wrong, I use dark theme for some IDEs too, but I will never ever call people using white theme with some lame words..
And finally, grow up, it is not about the theme, it is about the quality of what you deliver3
Why do apps dont keep the black theme as default!??
From any ide to Twitter to even devrant!
Black theme looks so cool.. Why not just set it as the default one! Most users switch to it eventually anyways.
I am sick of searching it in the settings everytime I install a new app.4
I've seen multiple rants about how people got blamed for hacking the school or airport or whatever, because they had a terminal or code editor open. Because white text on black background obviously means you're a hacker.
But what if we didn't use dark theme? What if your terminal looks like notepad and Android Studio like Word. Would we be less scary then? Would we be accepted by the public society?1
If the blackest theme had green text instead of white, I wonder what the public seeing us on the app would think...
Would also be an amusing feature/theme permutation I think.
Black background in Settings, black taskbar, black cursors .. that's the extent of dark theme in Windows.1
Let's have a poll.
Which theme do you prefer in a code editor/IDE?
1. White/Light colors.
If you're making a dark theme and you make it completely black. I don't know what to tell you (Looking at you Microsoft)
I ranted about my new laptop and linux mint on it https://devrant.com/rants/1919501 and I said there will be a rant about the OSs I tried
So my new laptop is the Xiaomi notebook pro, with the highest config: i7/16g/256g/mx150 gpu/alu body/10h battery/perfect keyboard/great screen. Its Chinese, but Xiaomi... you kinda expect flaws, problems, but i watched all the reviews and knew about all the things, and the price was 35% down (836 + taxes = 997EUR) for a macbook pro clone? its a no brainer.. but i had a rattling vent (fixed with shoe glue lol) now its just loud in windows but not in linux, strange
I changed the Chinese windows on it to EN... worked perfect... but... It has 2 slots for NVMe ssd so i bought a 500gb one for the second slot, I put windows on that (because games, occasional insta story video edit, big files, anyway...) and put Ubuntu on the 256gb original ssd.. (to develop on that) and it was slow as fuck, I got errors all over the places, problems I never had before with ubuntu.. and mind you Windows had over 3000 MB/s for read and almost 2000 MB/s for write speeds on that disk... I was disappointed af. MIND YOU all my life I had Ubuntu on secondary old/slow laptops/pcs working JUST FINE... I still don't know what the fuck happened.. the ui was choppy to say the least and I just was not ready to accept that on this HW while windows worked like a charm (yuck)
Then I went with Manjaro (based on arch, here on devrant people like that stuff, must be great)... well after I installed it, it booted up to the login page and black screen... something with the MX150 GPU according to the interwebs... by this time I was so frustrated and in time stress because of my flight home for xmas that I decided not to fix Manjaro but to go with another flavour
Linux Mint it is... everything kinda works out of the box, like they say... it has dark mode everywhere in the settings without downloading some bloated theme or plugin like on other flavours. So I sticked with Linux Mint. Im not saying its perfect, but I have it for like a month now and all its flaws are these small irrelevant settings not working, utilities like the battery showing funny numbers in the post I linked in the beginning.
Other than this I want to ask you guys. In all 3 distros I tried, they all had text scaling issues everywhere (os, apps, web). I think I have a regular fullHD display, its sharp, but I mean... I never expected resolution or scaling issues or things like that. On Windows I never had those scaling issues... other than the famous win10 "blurry apps"3
@dfox hey could you implement an oLED theme for users with amoled screen to go completely black? Saves battery a little bit3
What RSS readers that has a black theme and not requirering signup for Android exists today? I have looked everywhere but cannot find anything that matches my criterias. :o9
I think I'm the only one who doesn't like the new black theme... I think I'll stick with the current dark instead3
I was always a huge dark theme guy. Still am for most things, like here. But I’ve found myself starting to like the black on white with lighter themes. Am I nuts or does anybody else who has been doing this longer than me have input? Any schemes that we love or are the easiest on the eyes (referring to hurting my eyes after hours of working) ?2
Hello, guys please suggest a dark (preferably black) theme for my Linux Mint 18.1 PC with Cinnamon7
