Wrote my friend Sam a letter when I was still working in support. I think it still holds up today.
---
Dear Sam,
I understand that you will join us in our overseas office. Congratulations on landing that job. It’s good steady work. I’ve been doing it for the last ten years.
Your still young so maybe I can give you some little wisdom that will help you in your working years to come.
Let me begin by shedding some light on phone calls.
I try. I really do try Sam. But it is getting so hard for me to hold back the rage that builds up during certain phone calls. Especially the ‘Sorry, I just don’t know anything about computers! -giggle-’ ones.
Those are the times that I have no access to what they see. I’ve no team-viewer, can not take over that screen in any other way. And why-oh-why can I not take over that terminal session dear Sam? It’s because the caller can not double-click an icon or find a terminal session number.
And what is the reason for this? Because they ‘just don’t know anything about computers! -giggle-’. This is a sort of get-out-of-jail-free card. Beware of these callers Sam.
There is nothing so nerve-wrecking then finding yourself at the mercy of people describing Internet Explorer (do not even get me started) as ‘the big ‘E’, if they use Chrome for their webmail then they most likely will say ‘Mail’ if they mean Chrome. There is no logic Sam. That is just the way these people work.
They will suck all enjoyment out of your work. They will make you want to hunt them down in dark office hallways and show them your tears Sam. Because cry you will.
Sure, I understand that not everyone can be tech savvy. Why, if everyone would be, where would that leave us? No. I love the technologically challenged. They put the fiber in my internet. They make me LOL for real. After the initial anger subsides anyway.
But just below that well-willing folk, on the other side of that border… there they dwell: Management.
Nice cars, suits and iphones Sam. First thing a new manager will require is a brand spanking new business-card. It will hold his/her new title. Then an iphone or overpriced android model will follow suit.
Then they will barge into your office, holding it like it’s the next best thing since sliced bread.
Any manager will automatically assume that you will drop anything you are doing at the present moment to acknowledge the presence of greatness. Failing to do so will result in awkward yet fulfilling situations. I recommend that you do not take your hands of the keyboard and give only the slightest of nods after 5 minutes of complete silence and glaring.
Well… you feel the glare. You do not glare yourself. You do not break eye-contact with the monitor. It does not even matter if you are typing for real or not. I once clicked away happily for 5 minutes. I just typed ‘he is still there’ over and over again. Do not break down Sam. This moment will decide your relationship with this individual.
After the nod there will be a flood of words aimed in your general direction. You can disregard anything that is said. It boils down to ‘can not operate device’.
You then take the device from this person and put it next to you on your desk. You’ll ask the name of this simpleton, write it down on a sticky-note, slap that on the phone. Then you’ll write a random date in the not so near future on another sticky and hand that to the bewildered person in front of you.
It will usually utter some incoherent words about ‘needing, time or but’ (I find that ‘but’is a word they like. They tend to use it three or four times consecutive before you usher them through the door).
Now you’ve won Sam. Well… not really. But it will feel good, I can guarantee that.
This must do for now. A new suit is glaring at me for the last five minutes.
Felt good to do something productive with this time.
Take care,
Baltasar
P.s. I just noticed that there is some foam around his mouth. So if you encounter this, don’t worry: it seems to be perfectly normal.13 -
Every single one of them, and every one that will come after them.
Google, it started out as 2 people in their garage, wanting to make a search engine that was better than the others. Nothing else, nothing evil. Just make the world a little bit better. And look what it's become now. A megacorporation with little to no regards for their user base. Because who cares about users anyway?
Microsoft, it started out with Bill Gates - young high school computer nerd - who wanted to make an operating system for the world to use. Something that's better than the competition. And boy did he do so. Well "better than the competition" aside, he did make it for the world to use. And the world adopted it. And look what it's become now. A megacorporation with little to no regards for their user base. Because who cares about users anyway?
See where I'm going here?
Apple, it started out with Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak in their garage, just like Google did, wanting to make hardware that was better than the others. Nothing else, nothing evil. Just to make the world a little bit better. And look what it's become now. Planned obsolescence has been baked into it, just like it is in every other piece of technology. Quality control and thinking through the design has become a thing of the past. User choice, yeah who cares about that.
Samsung, it started out centuries ago actually, and I don't really remember the details of it.. ColdFusion has a video on it if memory serves me right. Do watch it if you're interested. Anyway, just like all the others they started out as a company which wanted to make the world a little bit better. And damn right did they do so.. initially. Look what they've become now. Forcing their stupid TouchWiz UI upon their customers (or products?), a Bixby button that can't even be reprogrammed.. and the latest thing.. Knox, advertised as a security feature, but as everyone who likes rooting their devices and mucking with it knows, it is an anti-feature that only serves for lockdown. Why shouldn't you be able to turn in a phone for RMA when a hardware error occurs, when all you've personally modified is the software? Why should changing the software blow that eFuse, so that you can be sure that you can't replace it without specialized equipment and a very steady hand?
I could go on and on forever about more of the tech giants out there, but I feel like this suffices for now. Otherwise I won't have anything else left for future rants! But one thing I know for sure. Every tech company started, starts, and will start out with a desire to make the world a better place, and once they gain a significant customer base, they will without exception turn into the same kind of Evil Megacorp., just like the ones before them. Some may say that capitalism itself is to blame for this, the greed for more when you already have a lot. Who knows? I'd rather say that the very human nature itself is to blame for it. We're by design greedy beings, and I hate it. I hate being human for that. I don't want humans to be evil towards one another, and be greedy for ever more. But I guess that that's just the way it is, and some things do actually never change...17 -
It's fine if you're 'not good with computers' and need help. Ask me politely and sure I'll see how I can help and teach you what you need so that you can do it yourself in the future.
It's not fine, however, if you refuse to fucking learn after the millionth time I've taught you how to do the exact same thing because 'It's too hard' and 'I won't understand anyway'. And then proceed to call me a bad and ungrateful friend because I can't come to your rescue the very second you need me and don't seem 1000% enthusiastic to help at 1am in the morning when I'm still doing my own work.
Sure, I'm the 'tech person' amongst our friends. I *do* understand the frustration you experience when something isn't working. But that doesn't mean I'm obligated to be your 24/7 IT support, while listening to your complaints of how I was probably the one who fucked it up in the first place when I helped fixed your phone/laptop last time (for the record, this was *never* the case).
UGHHHHHHHH
ps: I just found this community and I love it already! Thought this mental rant I had earlier would fit right in lol
(Also, sorry English isn't my first language D:7 -
You can believe or not but it’s just one of those stories. It’s long and crazy and it probably happened.
A few years ago I was interviewed by this big insurance company. They asked me on linkedin and were interested. They didn’t specify who they were so I didn’t specify who I am either.
After they revealed who they are I was just curious how they fuck they want to spend those billions of dollars they claimed in their press notes about this fucking digital transformation everyone is talking about. The numbers were big.
I got into 3 or 4 phone/skype interviews without technical questions and I was invited to see them by person.
I know that it would be funny because they didn’t asked me for CV so they didn’t know anything about me and I was just more curious how far I can get without revealing myself.
They canceled interview at midnight and I was in the middle of Louis de Funès comedies marathon so I didn’t sleep whole night. I assumed they would just reschedule but then they phoned me at 8 am if I can come because they made mistake.
So at first talk I was just interviewed by some manager I knowed after 5 minutes he would be shitty as fuck and demand stupid things in no time because he is not technical. He was trying to explain me that they got so great people and they do everything so fast.
From my experience speed and programming are not the things that match. ( for reference of my thought see three virtues of a GREAT programmer )
So I just pissed them off by asking what they would do with me when I finish this transformation thingy next year. ( Probably get rid off and fire at some point were my thoughts )
Then I got this technical interview on newest gold color MacBook pro - pair programming ( they were showing off how much money they have all the time ).
The person asked me to transform json and get some data in javascript .
Really that was the thing and I was so bored and tired that I just asked in what ES standard I can code.
The problem was despite he told me I can do anything and they are using newest standards ( yeah right ) the “for of” loop didn’t worked and he even didn’t know that syntax existed. So I explained him it’s the newest syntax pointing mozilla page and that he need to adjust his configuration. Because we didn’t have time for that I just did it using var an function by writing bunch of code.
When he was asking me if I want to write some tests probably because my code looked ugly as fuck ( I didn’t sleep for more then 24 hours at that point and wanted to live the building as fast as I can) I told I finished and there is no time for tests because it’s so simple and dumb task. The code worked.
After showing me how awesome their office is ( yeah please I work from home so I don’t care ) I got into the talk with VP of engineering and he was the only person who asked me where is my CV because he didn’t know what to talk about. I just laughed at him and told him that I got here just by talking how awesome I am so we can talk about whatever he wants.
After quick talk about 4 different problems where I introduced 4 different languages and bunch of libraries just because I can and I worked with those he was mine.
He told me about this awesome stack they’re building with kubernetes and micro services and the shitty future where they want to put IOT into peoples ass to sell them insurance and suddenly I got awake and started to want that job but behind that all awesomeness there was just .NET bridge with stack of mainframes running COBOL that they want to get rid off and move company to the cloud.
They needed mostly people who would dump code to different technology stack and get rid of old stack ( and probably those old people ) and I was bored again because I work more in r&d field where you sometimes need to think about something that don’t exist and be creative.
I asked him why it would take so much time so he explained me how they would do the transformation by consolidating bunch of companies and how much money they would make by probably firing people that don’t know about it to this day.
I didn’t met any person working permanently there but only consultants from corporations and people hired in some 3rd party company created by this mother company.
They didn’t responded with any decision after me wasting so much time and they asked me for interview for another position year after.
I just explained HR person how they treat people and I don’t want to work there for any money.
If You reached this point it is the end and if it was entertaining thank YOU I did my best.
Have a nice day.5 -
our HR made a survey about home office and how people think about coming back to office in the future. Shortly afterwards, our new CEO sent us an e-mail saying that he would like to see more employees in the office again soon. After all, it is paid for and must therefore be used. Of course, it's better for everyone to commute 2 hours to work every day, and last year home office worked well for everyone.
Personally, I can do without constantly sitting with my colleagues in a noisy office where 10 people are on the phone at the same time.
Bonus: In his opinion, software is better when it has more LOC.
Bonus2: Last working day for me is end of September. After that I start my new job with 43 days vacation per year :D10 -
Recap: https://www.devrant.io/rants/878300
I was out Thursday at the Hospital. I'm what the doctors would call "Ill as fuck"
So, Friday I’m back in the office to the usual: "How was that appointment?"
I know people mean well when they ask this. So, I do the polite thing and tell them it went as well as it could.
Realistically it does't matter how well it went... They haven't cured Crohn's because I showed up to the appointment. They know I'm fucked already.
But, push it down, add it to the future aneurism.
I had to go through the usual resignation meetings with managers:
"We"re fucked now you're going"
"yep"
"we need to get a handle on how fucked"
"already done that for you, here"s a trello board, very fucked."
"we need to put a plan together to drop all the junior devs in the shit with the work you’ve been doing"
"You need about 4 devs, please refer to the previous trello board for your plan"
Meanwhile, me and Morpheus are in constant communication because all of this is like a Shakespearean comedy.
So, I overhear a conversation between a Junior Dev and the Solution Architect.
[SA] took over the project because he knows better than two tried and tested senior devs -_- (fuckwit).
JD: "It took me one and a half days to build it out"
SA: "Yeah, it must have taken me twice as long... It must be a problem with the project, you should just be able to check it out and run it."
JD: "I know, it has to be wrong"
All of this is about Morpheus' work of art, of an Ionic 3 hybrid app.
I fumed quietly at my desk because I've been ordered by the Stazi to be hands off.
Since Morpheus and me were pulled from the project [JD] and [JD2] were dropped into it to get it over the line.
It"s unfortunate and I was clear and honest with my advice to them: I personally would not take over the project because I"d be way out of my depth... Oh, and the App works, so uh, there's no work to do.
They have been constantly at our desks. Asking fuckdiculous questions about how to perform basic tasks. So they can get Morpheus" frigging masterpiece to the user.
It"s like watching that touch up of jesus that got borked by an amateur. Shit I have google, it's like watching this happen: http://ti.me/NnNSAb
[JD] came to me Friday evening.
"I can’t get this to build to iOS or install on [Test Analyst]'s phone."
Me: "No worries brother, where are you stuck right now?"
[JD] describes the first steps with clear indication he hasn't googled his problem.
Life lesson: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=lmgtfy
Que an hour of me showing [JD] how to build an Ion3 project for iOS. Fuck it, your man's in a bind and he"s asked politely for help. I can show him quicker than he can read 3 sets of docos.
I took him through 'ionic cordova build ios', the archive and release processes in XCode 9, then the apk bundling process for droid. Finally we have an MAM so the upload process for that too.
All the while cleaning up his AppIDs, Profiles, deployment attempts.
Damn they were a mess.
I did this with a smile on my face, not because I could say "I told you so"... But. because when any developer asks you how to do something. If you know how to do it, you should always be happy to learn them some new tricks!
Dude's alright, he's been dropped in the shit. Now I know how badly so I'll help him learn things that are useful to his role, but aren't project specific.
As a plausi-senior dev (I'll tell you about that later); it's my job to make sure my team have what they need to go home smiling!
I’m not a hateful fucker, the guy asked me an honest question so I am happy to give him the honest answer.
I took him through it a few times and explained a few best practices. Most were how to do his AppID and ProvProfile set up. Good lad, took it all on board.
However! In his frustration, he pointed the finger at Morpheus' "David" (ref: Michelangelo).
He miraculously morphed into a shiny colourful parrot and fed me SA's line:
"you should just be able to build from a clean clone"
My response was calm and clear:
"You can, it took me 20 minutes on Thursday evening. I was bored and curios, so I wanted to validate Morpheus' work. Here it is on my iOS device and my Android device. It would have taken me 5 if my laptop wasn’t so horrifically out of date."
I validated Morpheus' work so I have evidence, I trust that brilliant bastard.
I just need to be able to prove it's good.
[JD] took this on board.
Maybe listening to two tried and trusted senior devs is better than listening to a headstrong Solution Architect.
When JD left for the weekend I was working a late one (https://www.devrant.io/rants/874765).
His sign off was beautiful.
"I think I can happily admit defeat on this one, it can wait until Monday."
To which I replied: "no worries brother, if you need a hand give me a shout."
Rule 1: Don't be a cunt.
Rule 2: If someone needs help and you can give it: Give it!

*Never* do CSS tweaks over the phone and tell the customer to refresh and approve the change. This will lead to endless tweaking andlong calls at any hour, and further trivializes your work by making it look like everything can be done instantly. Better to have them send you the changes they want, then send them an update later once they have been done—perhaps with a bit of a delay to further stave off the sense of instant gratification.
Also, if they keep requesting changes to changes after you’ve done what they asked, be prepared to let them know that future changes will incur an additional fee. -
!dev at all
Was chilling with my t mobile rep trying to get some issues resolved regarding what Verizon's bitchass was trying to do after i left their shitty company.
While i was there and my dude was working his magic i noticed this smoking chick walking around the store waiting for someone to help her out. So being that everyone was busy and sorta scared of talking to her( i can sense that shit) i told my boy to go and pick her as his customer, to be flirty and cool and shit.
My poor dude was all like "nah man I dunno how to talk to girls...."
I was telling him "bro, you ain't bad looking, just go, introduce yo ass and tell her that you'll take care of her in a min!"
"But i get all anxious and shit"
"Nah man, just talk to her like you did to me when we first met, she is just a customer, i aint telling you to ask her out on a date, just i dunno practice talking to girls! No harm with that! Specially this one b look at them leeeeeeegs!"
Now, why did I care? The reason is that he mentioned to me after seeing my wife (total babe) that he pictures me as a player. Which I was but that is beyond the point. And he said that he had always had trouble talking to girls.
So i told him what to do, said to be calm and confident. Ninja is an alpha salesman, and great with t mobile services, so he has that confidence, told him to exude that shit as if he was talking to a guy.
Homeboy got ballsy, drank 5 gallons of man the fuck up and went and did what I did. Then she went ahead and stand next to us, and i put on the good words for my dude "ah you got the best rep right here! G boy is bomb with everything!!" She was laughing saying that she hopes that he can help her with her phone.
"Don't worry, i got you, its just a small thing and if you want i'll show you what to do for future occasions"
"Oh so you don't want me to come back if it happens?"
"Haha you can come back any time as long as I am the one helping you out"
DAAAAAAAAAAAMN son!!
"Ok, but only if its you"
Daaaaaaaaaamn
Went better than expected. The dude needs more confidence, he aint bad looking at all and don't want him missing out on some of the babes we got walking around town.
Lord knows I had my fun with them.10 -
Not really a rant but my biggest fuckup that entirely ruined my IT career and future life
> be me 21yo CS student looking for an internship
> looking for help with my friend and sent him my CV to apply to a big corp
> then I lied that I have sent CV to official email {here the fuck up begins}
> after that I got an instant phone call from a friend of him claiming that the CV was sent properly and I am going to visit a company
> I had a review but it was recorded my CV hasn't got precisely specified technologies so interviewer thought I can manage to work as a dev not an intern
> with my shitty communication skills I managed to "work" there 8days, fucked up someone's computer by deleting his Windows and all data he had and installing Ubuntu instead
> then shit got out of control for an intern I talked a lot of bullshit in this Corp they realized I was there an "alien" and I didn't even know what to do so I wanted to sudo rm - rf myself
> unfortunately my parents woke up that morning I decided to sudo rm - rf and and I am now in mental asylum with fucked up people and the Corp knows where am I and I am going to pay for my stupidity and being naive (I didn't even seen the CEO, I didn't have enough information that I really worked there)
> To sum up, being bipolar, naive and irresponsible has brought me to this point in life. Thank you for reading. I don't see a solution, my parents don't believe me and I feel isolated with this fuckup so I decided to share it as a remark for young people starting in IT. For me it already ended too fast.12 -
If programming languages were countries, which country would each language represent?
Disclaimer: its just a joke
Java: USA -- optimistic, powerful, likes to gloss over inconveniences.
C++: UK -- strong and exacting, but not so good at actually finishing things and tends to get overtaken by Java.
Python: The Netherlands. "Hey no problem, let'sh do it guysh!"
Ruby: France. Powerful, stylish and convinced of its own correctness, but somewhat ignored by everyone else.
Assembly language: India. Massive, deep, vitally important but full of problems.
Cobol: Russia. Once very powerful and written with managers in mind; but has ended up losing out.
SQL and PL/SQL: Germany. A solid, reliable workhorse of a language.
Javascript: Italy. Massively influential and loved by everyone, but breaks down easily.
Scala: Hungary. Technically pure and correct, but suffers from an unworkable obsession with grammar that will limit its future success.
C: Norway. Tough and dynamic, but not very exciting.
PHP: Brazil. A lot of beauty springs from it and it flaunts itself a lot, but it's secretly very conservative.
LISP: Iceland. Incredibly clever and well-organised, but icy and remote.
Perl: China. Able to do apparently almost anything, but rather inscrutable.
Swift: Japan. One minute it's nowhere, the next it's everywhere and your mobile phone relies on it.
C#: Switzerland. Beautiful and well thought-out, but expect to pay a lot if you want to get seriously involved.
R: Liechtenstein. Probably really amazing, especially if you're into big numbers, but no-one knows what it actually does.
Awk: North Korea. Stubbornly resists change, and its users appear to be unnaturally fond of it for reasons we can only speculate on.17 -
So this is a rant about my country and especially my city: Berlin (Germany).
Germany is like a third world country when it comes to IT infrastructure. We have one of the slowest internet speeds in the whole EU. People are still afraid to pay with their card or phone. My people love their coins. While most of the other countries see the importance of the new technologies we still use mainly copper wire for internet. So why am I especially mad about Berlin? Google was planning to bring an innovation campus to our city. They wanted to establish a place for startups and technology. But the people from Berlin demonstrated against it extremely. They didn't want to have a company like Google in their city. I also am not a big fan of Google, but this would be such an important step to a better future for Germany. In a few years Germany will have a huge problem because we are so far behind the other countries. And it is so sad to see that seemingly no one cares about this.
This rant was brought to you by the worst internet in the whole EU18 -
* Recruiter says he has a nice proposition
* I say that I'm not comfortable switching jobs yet, but I'd be up for a short phone interview to hear him out, out of pure interest
* Recruiter explains a lot about the company, and then asks if I am up for "a short Teams introduction with the team lead to hear more"
* I say yes, though still stating that I do not intend on switching, but want to know more in case of a future possibility
* Recruiter says I need to send my full CV / Resumé plus grades from every school I ever intended (including the early ones that doesn't even matter)
* I say no since 1) I'd have to dig them out from the basement, 2) I am not looking for a job right now, and 3) This request is absurd to me, and NOT a norm in my part of the world when I am not applying.
* He says I HAVE to, since I could be lying
(I am mostly self-taught and have very little actual education, so this logic made NO sense to me)
* I continue to say no, stating that it's simply not worth the time finding the old grades in the basement for a job I will not be taking, and that I am mostly self-taught so grades wouldn't matter
* He starts getting angry, accusing me of "purposefully wasting his time", and says he'll warn the company about me.
Fair point. I'll warn my contacts about you then. Have a nice day, you f*cking prick :)2 -
Woohoo!!! I made it to 1000++s :) Now I feel less newbie-like around here :)
So... I don't want to shit-post, so in gratitude to all you guys for this awesome community you've built, specially @trogus and @dfox, I'll post here a list of my ideas/projects for the future, so you guys can have something to talk about or at least laugh at.
Here we go!
Current Project: Ensayador.
It's a webapp that intends to ease and help students write essays. I'm making it with history students in mind, but it should also help in other discipline's essay production. It will store the thesis, arguments, keywords and bibliography so students can create a guideline before the moment of writting. It will also let students catalogue their reads with the same fields they'd use for an essay: that is thesis, arguments, keywords and bibliography, for their further use in other essays. The bibliography field will consist on foreign keys to reads catalogued. The idea is to build upon the models natural/logical relations.
Apps: All the apps that will come next could be integrated in just one big app that I would call "ChatPo" ("Po" is a contextual word we use in my country when we end sentences, I think it derived from "Pues"). But I guess it's better to think about them as different apps, just so I don't find myself lost in a neverending side-project.
A subchat(similar to a subreddit)-based chat app:
An app where people can join/create sub-chats where they can talk about things they are interested in. In my country, this is normally done by facebook groups making a whatsapp group and posting the link in the group, but I think that an integrated app would let people find/create/join groups more easily. I'm not sure if this should work with nicknames or real names and phone numbers, but let's save that for the future.
A slack clone:
Yes, you read it right. I want to make a slack clone. You see, in my country, enterprise communications are shitty as hell: everything consists in emails and informal whatsapp groups. Slack solves all these problems, but nobody even knows what it is over here. I think a more localized solution would be perfect to fill this void, and it would be cool to make it myself (with a team of friends of course), and hopefully profit out of it.
A labour chat-app marketplace:
This is a big hybrid I'd like to make based on the premise of contracting services on a reliable manner and paying through the app. "Are you in need of a plumber, but don't know where to find a reliable one? Maybe you want a new look on your wall, but don't want to paint it yourself? Don't worry, we got you covered. In <Insert app name> you can find a professional perfect to suit your needs. Payment? It's just a tap away!". I guess you get the idea. I think wechat made something like this, I wonder how it worked out.
* Why so many chat apps? Well... I want to learn Erlang, it is something close to mythical to me, and it's perfect for the backend of a comms app. So I want to learn it and put it in practice in any of these ideas.*
Videogames:
Flat-land arena: A top down arena game based on the book "flat land". Different symmetrical shapes will fight on a 2d plane of existence, having different rotating and moving speeds, and attack mechanics. For example, the triangle could have a "lance" on the front, making it agressive but leaving the rest defenseless. The field of view will be small, but there'll be a 2d POV all around the screen, which will consist on a line that fills with the colors of surrounding objects, scaling from dark colors to lighter colors to give a sense of distance.
This read could help understand the concept better:
http://eldritchpress.org/eaa/...
A 2D darksouls-like class based adventure: I've thought very little about this, but it's a project I'm considering to build with my brothers. I hope we can make it.
Imposible/distant future projects:
History-reading AI: History is best teached when you start from a linguistic approach. That is, you first teach both the disciplinar vocabulary and the propper keywords, and from that you build on causality's logic. It would be cool to make an AI recognize keywords and disciplinary vocabulary to make sense of historical texts and maybe reformat them into another text/platform/database. (this is very close to the next idea)
Extensive Historical DB: A database containing the most historical phenomena posible, which is crazy, I know. It would be a neverending iterative software in which, through historical documents, it would store historical process, events, dates, figures, etc. All this would then be presented in a webapp in which you could query historical data and it would return it in a wikipedia like manner, but much more concize and prioritized, with links to documents about the data requested. This could be automated to an extent by History-reading AI.
I'm out of characters, but this was fun. Plus, I don't want this to be any more cringy than it already is.12 -
After I spent 4 years in a startup company (it was literally just me and a guy who started it).
Being web dev in this company meant you did everything from A-Z. Mostly though it was shitty hacky "websites/webapps" on one of the 3 shitty CMSs.
At some point we had 2 other devs and 2 designers (thank god he hired some cause previously he tried designing them on his own and every site looked like a dead puppy soaked in ass juice).
My title changed from a peasant web dev to technical lead which meant shit. I was doing normal dev work + managing all projects. This basically meant that I had to show all junior devs (mostly interns) how to do their jobs. Client meetings, first point of contact for them, caring an "out of hours" support phone 24/7, new staff interviews, hiring, training and much more.
Unrealistic deadlines, stress and pulling hair were a norm as was taking the blame anytime something went wrong (which happened very often).
All of that would be fine with me if I was paid accordingly, treated with respect as a loyal part of the team but that of course wasn't the case.
But that wasn't the worst part about this job. The worst thing was the constant feeling that I'm falling behind, so far behind that I'll never be able to catch up. Being passionate about web development since I was a kid this was scaring the shit out of me. Said company of course didn't provide any training, time to learn or opportunities to progress.
After these 4 years I felt burnt out. Programming, once exciting became boring and stale. At this point I have started looking for a new job but looking at the requirements I was sure I ain't going anywhere. You see when I was busy hacking PHP CMSs, OOPHP became a thing and javascript exploded. In the little spare time I had I tried online courses but everyone knows it's not the same, doing a course and actually using certain technology in practice. Not going to mention that recruiters usually expect a number of years of experience using the technology/framework/language.
That was the moment I lost faith in my web dev future.
Happy to say though about a month later I did get a job in a great agency as a front end developer (it felt amazing to focus on one thing after all these years of "full-stack bullshit), got a decent salary (way more than I expected) and work with really amazing and creative people. I get almost too much time to learn new stuff and I got up to speed with the latest tech in a few weeks. I'm happy.
Advice? I don't really have any, but I guess never lose faith in yourself.3 -
The fact that I was just able to unplug my phone because it was fully charged and just swap the cable to my Chromebook just makes me way too excited for the future of tech peripherals!
(Yes I love USB-C and Bluetooth and am one of those people who are happy and excited to see the headphone jack die)14 -
This “Auto save” feature in the latest app version is buggy..
-> new rant
-> prefilled with previous rant..
Anyway, here my actual rant begins.
Apple, go fuck yourself, seriously.. put your trillion dollars way up your arse...
Moved to Ireland, want to switch country..
“If you want to switch countries, cancel your Apple Music subscription first”..
so be it. Cancelled it..
“Your subscription will be cancelled in 28 days”.
FUCK YOU, YOU COCK SUCKING BASTARDS!!
I NEED TO SWITCH THE STORE TO BE ABLE TO DOWNLOAD BANKING APPS AND STUFF LIKE THAT..
But ok, I’m screwed in this regard..
Suddenly iMessage stopped working. This is kind of a big deal because I have unlimited data but only unlimited sms to Irish numbers and I need to communicate with people in Switzerland and Germany..
Internet works so I try to turn iMessage off and in again. But that doesn’t work.. i can only reactivate iMessage via WiFi.
So I go back to the hotel, reactivate iMessage..
“Verifying imessage” >> google..
Leads me to an Apple forum: “the verification of iMessage can take up to 24h”.
Are you fucking kidding me? I’m in a new country and rely on this overpriced shit..
Fun but sad fact, I have a second phone with me. IPhone 4 with iOS 7 and that thing WORKS!!
If this is where the future is going we’re all gonna die very soon.. plains crash, power plants explode but hey, at least they have data about it and it looks shiny. That’s all that matters..
Another reason to switch to android..
MacOs fucked me up so I already switched to windows + Linux. Next one will be getting rid of iOS, they don’t build small phones anymore anyway..1 -
I see loads of rants complaining about getting asked for tech help. And then I see Linux getting recommended as an OS.
Me? I'm telling everyone to use ChromeOS so they leave me the fuck alone.
In the future, I'll tell everyone they are too fucking stupid to own a computer and phone is the way to go.
Systems thinking, people.1 -
*Not a rant, but a very long vent*
I'm 20 and facing the worst dilemma I ever experienced.
Been working at a company for more than half a year, got the job thru a friend and started as an intern to take care of customer problems, crap they do to PC's, printers that wouldn't work, answer emails and phone calls about our point-of-sale software.
Soon everything started to change, on one day my boss asked my what I knew about coding, all I could answer was about some really basic stuff that I learnt on a previous semester at college, just some very basic coding stuff we got for C, how for loops works, conditions, that kind of thing. Soon I was being asked to code a client management software for our company, I was starting to grasp a little of this wonderful world, soon I could write some more complex code in C#, even did a program that in 30 seconds did a 3 day's worth of work, and then I got assigned to develop a mobile POS application, earned a raise, and man, is this wonderful.
I feel that I really found my place in life, found something that makes me jump out of bed every morning.
But here comes the dilemma part: I'm enrolled in a mechanical engineering school for two years now, and it's my second place already (been enrolled at a agronomy school before that) and I'm starting to feel out of place, in all the classes I'm taking, I cant help but feel that this isn't for me, I don't see myself doing that for a future, but I don't know if jumping to another boat would make it any better or just worse, I don't know how good are my odds at a tech oriented course are, I don't really know what to do with the rest of my life.
Guess I'm just afraid of doing something stupid and regret it later, don't know if I should listen to the voice that shouts to me to do whatever I want to with my life or the one that assures me of a stable path... Don't know if anyone will read this much, but if so, thanks a lot, just wanted to put it out of my shoulders and maybe get to know anyone that has been here. I'm new here, but I feel already at home. ☺8 -

Another tinder story from last night.
Matched with a girl, I thought she was cute and all. She texted me first, and we started talking. We kinda just clicked, had similar interests and everything. Conversation turned to musicals, she said she wanted me to come listen to one with her at some point when we were both free. I mentioned the whole story from Sunday night to her (see previous rant), and told her how the girl said I was a "rebound", but nothing actually happened. Then she changed the conversation by saying something like "rebounds normally involve sex, maybe I can make up for it".
After that the conversation got sexual. Dirty talk, nudes, everything. Talking about how hard she wanted me to fuck her and everything. That carried on until about 6 in the morning. We both decided we should go to sleep.
I woke up around 11, we talked for a few minutes, then she said she had to get ready for a doctor appointment, and I didn't think anything of it. Went to work at 2, had to go get a car from a dealership like 20 minutes away. Me and my coworker got back, I decided to check my phone and see if she messaged me or anything.
Come to find out, she basically just fucking ghosted me. Blocked me, unmatched me on tinder, the whole nine yards. No warning, nothing. 8 hours earlier she was saying how much she wanted me inside her (not paraphrasing), and now she just decided "nah fuck him altogether".
I don't fucking know what it is. It's been about 10 hours since I found out, and I just..I don't know. She could have just said "nah I don't wanna fuck" and I would have been 100% fine with that. But nope. No warning, just blocked me.
I'm not mad that she just backed out of it, I'm mad that she didn't say fucking anything about it. Like, even apart from all the sexting and stuff, I genuinely liked this girl. She was nice, cute, funny, just everything I could have asked for. And now, I'm honestly kinda sad about it. Everything seemed like it was going well (maybe all the sexting would have been better for another time in the future ya know, but I can honestly say I didn't initiate it), and now I have nothing again.17 -
Working on an Android app for a client who has a dev team that is developing a web app in with ember js / rails. These folks are "in charge" of the endpoints our app needs to function. Now as a native developer, I'm not a hater of a web apps way of doing things but with this particular app their dev teams seems to think that all programming languages can parse json as dynamically as javascript...
Exhibit A:
- Sample Endpoint Documentation
* GetImportantInfo
* Params: $id // id of info to get details of
* Endpoint: get-info/$id
* Method: GET
* Entity Return {SampleInfoModel}
- Example API calls in desktop REST client
* get-info/1
- response
{
"a" : 0,
"b" : false,
"c" : null
}
* get-info/2
- response
{
"a" : [null, "random date stamp"],
"b" : 3.14,
"c" : {
"z" : false,
"y" : 0.5
}
}
* get-info/3
- response
{
"a" : "false" // yes as a string
"b" : "yellow"
"c" : 1.75
}
Look, I get that js and ruby have dynamic types and a string can become a float can become a Boolean can become a cat can become an anvil. But that mess is very difficult to parse and make sense of in a stack that relies on static types.
After writing a million switch statements with cases like "is Float" or "is String" from kotlin's Any type // alias for java.Object, I throw my hands in the air and tell my boss we need to get on the phone with these folks. He agrees and we schedules a day that their main developer can come to our shop to "show us the ropes".
So the day comes and this guy shows up with his mac book pro and skinny jeans. We begin showing him the different data types coming back and explain how its bad for performance and can lead to bugs in the future if the model structure changes between different call params. He matter of factually has an epiphany and exclaims "OHHHHHH! I got you covered dawg!" and begins click clacking on his laptop to make sense of it all. We decide not to disturb him any more so he can keep working.
3 hours goes by...
He burst out of our conference room shouting "I am the greatest coder in the world! There's no problem I can't solve! Test it now!"
Weary, we begin testing the endpoints in our REST clients....
His magic fix, every single response is a quoted string of json:
example:
- old response
{
"foo" : "bar"
}
- new "improved" response
"{ \"foo\" : \"bar\" }"
smh....8 -
It's been a while since I've heard a consensus of a moronic idea from the corner offices. I was invited to a department planning meeting (just to listen, not necessarily engage or add value) and discussion went to the development of a mobile app.
Mgr1: "The CEO has the net present value of the mobile project as $20 million. Where did he get that number?"
VP: "No idea."
Mgr2: "How will it be any different than our web site that is already mobile compliant?"
VP: "It is to gain market share"
Mgr3: "Market share from who? A mobile app is not going to increase our customer base. At best, it will only move some of our existing customers to mobile. No way it would scale to those numbers."
VP: "The primary benefit is so customers can browse offline."
Mgr2: "Offline browsing isn't listed in the milestones."
Mgr1: "We're not going to push and keep gigs of data up-to-date on someone's phone just for random times they don't have internet access."
VP: "I guess that's right. We can push our pdf catalog. That's only a few hundred meg."
Mgr2: "Pushing the catalog? That's not on the listed milestones"
VP: "Its all assumed."
Mgr3: "Who owns this project? Web team is already maxed to capacity."
Mgr2: "Marketing team only has 3 developers, we can't take on anything as complex as a mobile app and support the existing processes."
Mgr1: "What about the network infrastructure and PCI compliance? We're talking about a system for the web site and another for mobile, right?"
Mgr2: "Who is going to manage all the versions in the app stores and future changes to the mobile platform?"
Mgr4: "Not us"
Mgr2: "Nope"
Mgr1: "OK, good. Its very likely this project will be dead on arrival at the next company strategic meeting."
VP: "Mobile the only project on the strategic meeting agenda. Sorry guys, it's happening. We're not going to leave $20 million sitting on the table.
<awkward silence>
VP: "Next item of business ..."3 -
This is going to be fun. We are switching our phone system to use Zoom and the turn on date is sometime in October (couple of weeks away). I have a feature I'm working on (automated phone calls) that the salesman said was fully functional (jump through a hoop, stand on your head, turn around three times, type of functional). Tried the steps they gave me, got to #3 and there is no virtual agent API call I can find to hand off/transfer the call. Send our contact at Zoom some questions, responds "That is a feature we might put in a future product. Can't do that right now." WTF?!
Other developers are running into similar "How do we get there from here?" issues that features promised, either don't exist or don't work.
One feature in particular I'm receiving a 403 permission denied error.
K: "Feature X needs to be enabled."
Me: "It is."
<send a screenshot showing the feature enabled>
K: "Your account doesn't have permissions. Have the sysadmin elevate you authentication level."
Me: "I'm an admin"
<send a screenshot showing my admin status>
K: "I'll have to get back with you."
Its been 3 days and no update on my ticket. *sigh*2 -
So management calls me at 1 AM. I have insomnia so I'm still awake... but I know I have to set boundaries, steer away from unhealthy and unproductive habits. I knew that this spontaneous meeting would not be compensated, and even if they wanted me to fix a bug, I'd be too sleepy to do anything really. I needed some healthy sleep. So I muted my phone and ignored them...
But I kept thinking on the call. What did they want? Did they found a bug on production? (We do have clients on the other side of the world.) Would this create a big fight? And of course, if they brought it up, what would I respond? I did feel guilty. I was worried about the company, since my future also depended on it... and my insomnia kept me awake for an extra couple of hours...8 -
I got so many concerns/questions about the EU chat control and the future. Sorry for my long rant lol:
1) What about projects that are on life support and no active development?
2) What about chat application in video games or the chat service on the website of a local shop
3) What about false flags? Like that parent who got into legal trouble for sharing a picture of his kid with a doctor to get a medical opinion on some skin condition. (might misremember the details)
4) What about false flags like instagram banning accounts and forwarding it to the police department and over-exhausting the resources of the police (accidental 'DDOS' of their personel)
5) What if the content shared in country A is legally OK but not in country B. What if you then travel there? Or if your participant is from that country B.
6) What about content that is taboo but should be OK to discussed? Like puberty or hormonal discussions online? Some subreddits like "stopsmoking" is now also regional banned by Reddit in the UK to avoid any unneeded risks. That is bad. YouTube had some problem where adult content existed on their platform but labeled as educational.
7) What if you encrypt messages before sending it. Will you be banned just in case? What if you need support with an app and you send an encrypted application crash log that came from your computer, will you now be banned just in case?
8) What if you like privacy and have those apps for innocent purposes. Is having those apps now illegal
9) What if criminals use apps from Asia or Africa or somewhere where this law is not present/enforced. Or what if they create a simple app with this encryption. It is not difficult to make one.
10) Before 2001, airport security was very lax but then 9/11 happened and the security increased. It never went back to the state before. Since they have or will have this check, what will them stop it from expanding it after the next disaster of an unrelated accident (like terrorist attack).
11) What if those services miss a case? Will the company that allows this to be send now have legal trouble?
12) What if users are using metaphors or practice self-censorship to avoid flagged words? We see it with monetization in social media (like murder or killing is replaced with "unaliving")
13) It will be just an other problem to start a new company with limited budget. So start-ups will just have a bit harder time to break into the market.
14) this might just push users away from mainstream options
15) it's just an other attack vector for hackers to use
16) Do we want to have private companies be able to scan our messages because they are contracted by the government? They can have their own bias to satisfy their shareholders. What if they are invested by the Big Oil so critic towards the Big Oil is altered? How certain can you be this won't happen now or in the future. Reddit Admin did that before so who knows at this point.
17) Anonymity will disappear.
18) Different companies verify users and store this data so this seems like a major cyberrisk and identity theft waiting to happen
19) fragmentation of users. it is now annoying that some family or friends don't use whatsapp but use telegram and the other way around. You might need +5 chat application to keep contact and lose social relationships.
20) Is AI detected messages even legal proof in court?
21) What if you talk about video games and flag the AI system this way? Or use abbreviation from a niche community that also overlaps with flagged words (like checkpoint being abbreviated as CP) or just the language with poor support or use a 'dialect' in your chat that trips up the software.
22) What if your phone is stolen and they send those messages in your name or this is done remotely.
23) What if you are sharing old family pictures and there is 1 and only 1 odd picture that just barely trips up the system.
24) Games like 'Beyond human' also has gameplay that hurts a fictional child which fits the storyline and acts as shock value. Will this be banned
25) The newer population will see this as normal so what will they find acceptable if they can now vote7 -
I guess I should relate what work experience I have: my internship.
A little backstory I suppose. It's required at my school to do an internship to graduate except under certain circumstances. They encourage work experience a lot where I study. It was around time for me to apply for internships. However, the closest I got was a phone call with Amazon that I biffed when they started asking about stuff like sorting algorithms and other Big O notation stuff. So I was pretty desperate. I found a small company that were looking for internships and got an interview with them. The pay was dirt (I made more as a crew trainer at McDonalds) but I needed that internship and they were only 10 minutes away.
Immediate red flags when I showed up to the address. At first I thought I was wrong, But I noticed the sign of the company pointing up some stairs that were installed on the side of the house I was in front of.
Interview was a bit weird. It was with the CEO and the marketing manager. Again red flags. I show up for work a week later.
Turns out, they have no full time developers. 1st day was getting my workstation ready and 2nd day I was running Ethernet cables to the basement where the phones were connected. Spent around a week doing that.
This was supposed to be a Software Engineering internship?? Excuse me?? I came here to learn how working on Software is supposed to be like! I was also their "tech support" both for their computers and their crappy software that was built 16 years ago that people still pay for that I had NO idea how it worked because I just started and NOBODY taught me anything! To make matters worse, even if I wanted to delve into the code to see how it works it was all made in ancient Perl which didn't make things any easier.
But I needed that internship to graduate. And thus begun my 9 months with them and boy howdy I have stories to tell. Stay tuned in the future.3 -
If anyone has read any of my posts before you may know, they're usually of a certain... Shall we say, dark, nature?
Well this possibly represents one of the darkest things I've imagined (with regards to technology and programming) I've had.
I was asked if I want to be buried or cremated when I die and they seem so... Pedestrian and I thought long and hard about what would be a fitting way to honour my life and what to do with my remains and it came to me...
I want my flesh to be only partially treated with formaldehyde so chunks of me rot away and others don't.
I want my skeletal structure to be replace with titanium rods with actuators and servo motors where my joints would have been with an internal gyroscope to assist with balance and my corpse will be installed with some sort of IOT controller board with on board wifi.
The companion smart phone app will allow my partially rotting cybernetic zombie corpse to be driven around by a bored grave yard grounds keeper while kids are doing LSD pretending they're all that.
Make them really believe the apocalypse has begun and the dead have risen.
I could be a whole thing for future corpse disposal too.
"Smart corpses, for the loved one who will be more intelligent in death than they were in life."
Although that's probably a bit too harsh...7 -
Android is a complete garbage OS and Google has successfully taken the bloat crown from Microsoft.
They keep pushing these webapps, this is how they see the future a locked down app based OS on every hardware configuration (laptops, tablets..etc). zero access to the hardware proprietary sack of shit!
vote with your wallets, go buy your self an actual *nix phone.
No really, if this is the future of the software industry then I want out, this is not what I signed up for when I first joined this is not my vision nor am I the only one who feels like this.
Yes I'm all for ease of use I really am. but I'm also for user freedom. I own the machine I get to use it how ever I want. and its not hard to allow true user freedom and ease of use.7 -
Oh my fucking god.
So, basically, I’m at some mall with Violet Parr, but I’m not Dash. I’m someone else entirely, but still a Mr. Incredible’s child. Producers connect to my thoughts and say “Go to the bathroom”. I oblige, go in and see Mr. Incredible naked, absolutely destroying Frozone’s asshole bareback. He doesn’t see me.
Then, I go meta: “Well, producers now probably want me to find another bathroom!”
Mens' one is closed. Ladies one is open though. “Wait, if Mr. Incredible is there, and we’re in The Incredibles universe, we’re probably not in Russia, and no one will bully me, a little trans kid, if I go to the ladies' bathroom”. I go in and lock myself inside a stall.
Music plays. A hellish hybrid of Tessa Violet from “Crush” (https://youtube.com/watch/...) and Orla Gartland (https://youtube.com/watch/...) enters the bathroom. The movie suddenly becomes a musical.
As she approaches my stall, she sings:
🎵 Deep down inside, we’re still transphobic 🎵
🎵 Deep down inside, I’m still transphobic 🎵
🎵 But it’s my way to tell the world 🎵
🎵 To shut 🎵
🎵 The fuck 🎵
🎵 UUUUUp 🎵
She proceeds to demolish and twist the stalls.
Suddenly, we see her flashback (well, technically a flash-forward), and there she gives a Ted talk. But it’s a Klan rally, and it’s Ted x KKK. She says the punchline:
“Well, isn’t it _nuts_ 😏
that I twisted steel beams into a thousand _knots_ 😏👉”
The audience erupts into laughter.
We’re back. I run away from her. Cops arrive, and I’m connected directly to Barely Sociable’s video from the future (relative to my present) about Ruth Price (https://youtube.com/watch/...), the phone call segment. The original audio is replaced by Tessa/Orla’s voice. She calls cops and says “We’re placed into custody for bullying a trans faggot kid!”
The cop replies, mocking her: “That’s baaaad 🤣, that’s probably baaaaaad 🤣”
Off-screen laughter.
Roll credits.
Jack-Jack Parr is trans, confirmed.

Finally done with school. It were three years of ups and downs.
The downs were plenty and mostly in the way school material was organized.
We've spend years learning web development where the course should have been more broad (application development)
So by the time my first internship period of half a year approached I searched for a company outside of web development and ended up at a company which did serious games using unity C#. Those were the best months of my 3 years. I managed to push the company into a direction for a future even though it was reletively small.
After that I took up .net and got the MTA C# Fundamentals certificate from microsoft itself. (School offered the exam).
Then there was the 2nd internship.
Worked for a company who sold intranets to other enterprises and I developed a mobile app which connected a user's phone to their account on their intranet. Allowing to seperate work and their private life.
That project was fun but the company itself was terrible. 4 people at the office and the owner treated us as objects rather than people. The company was too small for such an environment and most of them were irritated 9 times out of 10. Glad to be rid of them.
Now I'm in the process of looking for a job and have a meeting with a recruiter tomorrow
Wish me luck.4 -
LinkedIn: Exploiting social psychology for fun and profit.
I was reading an excellent post by Kage about linkedin (you can find it and more here - https://devrant.com/users/Kage) a little while ago and it occurred to me the unique historic moment we are in. Never before have we been so connected in history. Never before have we had so great an opportunity to communicate with strangers (perhaps except for sketchy candy vans on college campuses, and tie dye wearing guys distributing slips of paper at concerts). And yet today, we are more atomized than ever before. In this unprecedented era of free information, and free communication, how can we make the most of our opportunities?
The great thing about linkedin is all the fawning morons who self select for it. They're on it. They're active, so you know they're either desperate attention hungry cock goblins,
self aggrandizing dicknosed cretins, desperate yeasty little strumpets, or a managerie of other forgetable fucking pawns,
willingly posting up their entire lives to be harvested and sold so someone can make 15 cents on a 2% higher ad conversion ratio for fucking cilas or beetus meds.
So what is a psychopathic autist asshole to do?
Ruthlessly exploit them by feeding them upvotes, hows-it-going-guys, and other little jolts of virtualized feel-good-chemical bullshit.
Remember the quickest way to network is for people to like you. And the quickest way to make people like you is either agree with them on everything, or be absolutely upfront with everything you disagree on.
Well, they'll love you, or hate you. But at least you'll be living rent free in their head. And that means they'll remember you when you call looking to network or get a referal.
Of course, in principle, this extends to any social media site. Why not facebook? Why not fucking *myspace*? Why not write a script in selenium to browse twitter all day, liking pictures of lattes and dogs posted by the lonely and social-approval-hungry devs working at places like google, twitter, faceborg, etc?
You could even extend this to non-job prospects. Want a quick fuck? Why, just script a swipe-right hack on tinder, or attach a big motherfucking robot arm to your phone, tapping and swiping for hours. Want to make a buck? Want not harvest data on ebay or amazon all god damn day and then run arbitration for 'wanted' classifieds on craiglist?
Why not automate all the things?
The world is at your fingertips, and you the power to automate it, while all the wall lickers and finger painters live oblivious to the opportunity they are surrounded with and blessed with daily.
Surely now that you know, it is your obligation, nay, your DUTY to show the way.
Now you are learned. Now you are prepared. Go forth and stroke the egos of disposable morons to bilk for future social favors while automating the world in ways never intended.3 -
It's 2022 and mobile web browsers still lack basic export options.
Without root access, the bookmarks, session, history, and possibly saved pages are locked in. There is no way to create an external backup or search them using external tools such as grep.
Sure, it is possible to manually copy and paste individual bookmarks and tabs into a text file. However, obviously, that takes lots of annoying repetitive effort.
Exporting is a basic feature. One might want to clean up the bookmarks or start a new session, but have a snapshot of the previous state so anything needed in future can be retrieved from there.
Without the ability to export these things, it becomes difficult to find web resources one might need in future. Due to the abundance of new incoming Internet posts and videos, the existing ones tend to drown in the search results and become very difficult to find after some time. Or they might be taken down and one might end up spending time searching for something that does not exist anymore. It's better to find out immediately it is no longer available than a futile search.
----
Some mobile web browsers such as Chrome (to Google's credit) thankfully store saved pages as MHTML files into the common Download folder, where they can be backed up and moved elsewhere using a file manager or an external computer. However, other browsers like Kiwi browser and Samsung Internet incorrectly store saved pages into their respective locked directories inside "/data/". Without root access, those files are locked in there and can only be accessed through that one web browser for the lifespan of that one device.
For tabs, there are some services like Firefox Sync. However, in order to create a text file of the opened tabs, one needs an external computer and needs to create an account on the service. For something that is technically possible in one second directly on the phone. The service can also have outages or be discontinued. This is the danger of vendor lock-in: if something is no longer supported, it can lead to data loss.
For Chrome, there is a "remote debugging" feature on the developer tools of the desktop edition that is supposedly able to get a list of the tabs ( https://android.stackexchange.com/q... ). However, I tried it and it did not work. No connection could be established. And it should not be necessary in first place.7 -
This is why we can never have enough software developers
It's true. No matter how many people learn to program, there will never be enough people who know how to program. They don't have to be very good at it either. It is now a required skill.
Minimum wage in first world countries is way above 5$ per hour. A Raspberry PI 3B costs 40$, or at most 1 day of work for the worst paid jobs. And it will run for years, and do routine tasks up to thousands of times faster than any employee. With that, the only excuse that people still do routine tasks, is the inaccessibility of coder time.
Solution: everybody should know how to write code, even at the simplest level.
Blue-collar jobs: they will be obsolete. Many of them already are. The rest are waiting for their turn.
Marketing people - marketing is online. They need to know how to set up proper tracking in JS, how to get atomic data in some form of SQL, how to script some automated adjustments via APIs for ad budgets, etc. Right now they're asking for developers to do that. If they learn to do that, they'll be an independent, valued asset. Employers WILL ask for this as a bonus.
Project Managers - to manage developers, they need to know what they do. They need to know code, they have to know their way around repositories.
QA staff - scripted tests are the best, most efficient tests.
Finance - dropping Excel in favor of R with Markdown, Jupyter Notebooks or whatever, is much more efficient. Customizing / integrating their ERP with external systems is also something they could do if they knew how to code.
Operations / Category Management - most of it would go obsolete with more companies adopting APIs as a way to exchange important information, rather than phone calls and e-mails.
Who would not be replaced or who wouldn't benefit from programming? Innovative artists.
A lot of it might not be now now, but the current generation will see it already in their career.
If we educate people today, without advanced computer skills and some coding, then we are educating future deadbeats.
With all this, all education should include CS. And not just as a mandatory field or something. Make it more accessible, more interesting, more superficial if needed. Go straight to use cases, show its effectiveness in the easiest way possible. Inquisitive minds will fill in the blanks, and everyone else will at least know how to automate a part of their work. -
I have to go through roughly 700 data entries and adjust the system's data accordingly ... by hand.😑
We don't have the tools to automate this reliably, the only available tool, tells you that an error occured and what happened but not where. That would've been kinda helpful...
The problem is that the respective data object of the data entry often contains a phone number, which has to be in a standardized format ... which it is not. Every number is formatted in like 10 variations!? A dozen different separators like spaces, commas, slashes and hyphens. And it must be edited manually 😖
My solution: built a goddamn chrome extension to format the string on click. Done. Saves a few seconds each time and a lot of headache in future. Of course given the correctness of the extension.4 -
Whelp, I made the switch to android about a week ago. Didn't go two days without getting malware on it. I only browse hacker news and used devRant, standard messaging app, no root, so no shady things, just fairly standard things besides devRant. When I called Samsung support, they said it was a known issue and sent me some links to some forums where people were having the same issues. After digging through those threads, there was an official answer from Samsung saying they weren't going to fix the issue (at least in any foreseeable future). That's unacceptable for a phone that was released less than a year ago.
I'm done with Samsung phones for good. I might come back to Android on a google phone.
I hate how Android is distributed and the manufacturers don't take ownership of their issues. They just work on the new phone without caring for anything older than 6 months. If I had to get a new phone every time a major security issue was found and the company refused to fix it, I'd spend more money than on an iPhone.
It seems like Google keeps their devices up to date better, presumably because they have better control of OS releases. But non-google Android devices are dead to me.
Back to my iPhone for now...

The build failed and bricked my phone so installed Lineage Pie.... so same as before...
Then found out today there an app that will indeed OxygenOS 10 and for all future updates can auto install and keep root....
So now reinstalling OxygenOs...7 -
I finally! managed, after several annoying phone calls and dozens of emails, to convince the client to switch from ZF1 to another framework after spending several hours setting up Zend_Locale, which, as already predicted, didn't work properly.
I've already written a rant about it.
Project size is approx. 200,000 lines of ZF1 code. ZF3 would be a possibility, but I don't know what the guys from Zend will do with it in the future. The community doesn't seem to be that big either.
What framework would you suggest for PHP at the moment?6 -
my phone is dying. Very slowly, i see the first signs of decay, i probably have months or even more than a year, but it will die on me. I knew it will happen.
I currently have an asus phone (ZE552KL), it is technically DualSim or SD-Card, has a camera that is..badish and sometimes the bluetooth wont start and then it reboots. Also the camera has a pure software bug where it isnt able to ever focus properly, but with tricks you can get it to work again. The asus forums constantly refer to sending it to a repair station (wherever one is in germoney). That annoys me.
Back to dying. For now its definetly the battery.
I remember when you could change the battery on a whim. Great times. My last phone died duo battery aswell (well, the gps module broke aswell so it wasnt all flowers besides the battery).
My current asus phone was something around 300 € and according to reviews 2 years ago it has a good bang for the buck ratio.
I havent looked into the market, just a cursory glance. But apparently if you want a phone that has a decent battery life, is not basically a tablet, has an sd card slot and a camera that is not total rubbish it gets hard. Its hard to balance those things, and if you want a swappeable battery all hope is lost.
Further i have started to misstrust chinese phones, the asus software support is wacky and some stuff is weird. I suspect its as bad with huwai and all the others. Also its apparently kinda hard to get any resemblance of quality in accessoires for non-mainstream brands (i mean cases and display protection)
So i dread the future, the future in which i need a new phone that is somewhere in the mid price segments and fits my needs. In the end i will take something suboptimal and be unhappy with it till it dies.
I despise the phone market.rant cheap quality no sd card phonemarket off-brand no swappeable battery all is lost need new phone5 -
The future will look back on this period in time with astonishment. The fact that people could still browse the internet without using an app or a mobile phone will seem like a bedtime story.
It’s not even fucking close to ok that this very paragraph is inside of a H1-tag with a font-size of 26px! The UI is so big and dumbed down that I feel like I’m trying to navigate a fucking Pixie book with buttons the size of duplo-blocks. And this shit is happening to more and more sites!
It’s like the CSS-stylists assumes that everyone goes around with a pair of binoculars duct taped the wrong way to their forehead. No no, that was not a typo. Writing CSS is not development dude, it’s more like filling out a coloring book. And still most of the “paint” seems to go outside of the shapes somehow. Even I, a backend developer, know about media queries and that you shouldn’t specify font-size in pixels. How come that these guys do not? It’s like a taxi driver not knowing how to switch lane for fucks sake.
I know I can just adjust the page scale with a simple ctrl scrolling maneuver and believe me I do! I just don’t think it’s right that people, by the millions, should be afflicted with carpal tunnel syndrome just because of their ignorance.2 -
It's a GUI for Wine (a Windows compatibility layer) and I think it looks awesome! Feel free to use it!

But this ain't the best I *Will* have written. I plan in the near future to create an app that will connect the computer and a phone. But not in the traditional sense. the phone will become an extra screen for the computer, which will essentially be the a copy of all the icons of the dock of your elementary OS computer. In other words, a connected phone won't be useless to your PC workflow. It will however do the things other similar projects do, like copying files, a shared clipboard, etc. Stay tuned, I plan for this to be done in the next 3 to 4 months!

This may get me some hate from y'all but let me make a confession here.
I have taken away clients from my previous bosses when they made the mistake of giving the client direct access to me outside the company.
It happened in 2019, my manager gave the client my phone number so they could directly call me and assign me tasks. Well, I left that company and took the client away with me. Heck, I even made more money for the next 4 months from the client than the company was paying me.
Again in 2023 when I left my job, I sent out LinkedIn requests to all members of the client's org, hoping that they'd remember me and reach out for projects. Well, 2 months into leaving the company, they did reach out and now I'm making 3X what I was making before.
I'd do it again in the future again and again. If YOU and I partner up to work for a client, I will make sure that you are out of the equation ASAP.
There, I said it. I've done it twice and I'll do it again in the future.3 -
I'll have to make some tough choices over the next 6 months. With my tech career beginning and my college education ramping up, time is of the essence, and the skills I develop now will be at the forefront of my future. So what does this have to do with Microsoft?
Well, the story begins in the Spring of 2016. Social Forums was about to turn a year old, Trump's campaign was ramping up, and I had just found my love for technology. With all my friends having phones, I had to get a phone and get working on development. The year before, Windows 10 was launched, and I was psyched. I found Microsoft's products to be underrated with potential. That day, I purchased a Lumia 640, upgraded it to Windows 10, and immediately began working. After another year-and-a-half gone by, I went from loving Microsoft, to defending Microsoft, to tolerating Microsoft. I could go on and on about the lousy structure, the privacy issues, the forced upgrades, the redundant developer platform, and other such issues that is leading me away from them. But if there is one thing they have proven over the years, is that the they are completely out of touch with its developers and its customers. They spent years ramping up their phones. They failed. They spend years ramping up their phones. They failed. They spend years ramping up their semi-annual OS updates. They failed. So why did they fail? It's not that they made the wrong prediction out of chance. They legitimately don't care about feedback. It's their way or the highway. This sounds vaguely familiar. They have been spending a decade ignoring feedback from the community because they want to become just like Apple. Right now, Apple LIVES off of brand loyalty and its stable, useful ecosystem. This cannot work for Microsoft as they don't have a lot of brand loyalty. But most of all, they don't have a working ecosystem. They have Windows Insiders, which provides them with hundreds of feedback messages per day. These include suggestions, bug reports, and constructive criticism. The feedback is public. You can have several pages of the same complaint, and they still won't do anything about it. They say they have a good relationship with their community, and that this Beta program helps Windows become better for all. But in the end, we are nothing more than a glorified unpaid labor force. They fired hundreds of professional debuggers just before the Insider Program took off. We are only here to provide bug reports for free. Now that their phones, AR headsets, browser, online services, and VR headsets are failing for all these reasons, I see little reason to develop for Windows anymore. I don't just mean their UWP and App Store platforms, I mean Windows as a whole. I'm definitely not a Mac guy either. I never see myself going to Mac either, as they are really no different in terms of how they treat their Developers and PC users. If things continue down this route, I will leave the platform all together. I've always wanted to be a Systems Programmer, so I don't really need an established paid platform to be successful. Even now, I'm not certain about leaving Windows altogether but as a developer, I need to find my place. Time is of the essence in my life, and I need to find out my place in the software world. Now I think it isn't on the Windows platform like I had dreamed it would be. But where do I go?10 -

For a long time, I ignored the signs. My husband had become distant—more secretive with his phone, constantly stepping out to take calls, and suddenly protective of his digital presence. I didn’t want to jump to conclusions, but I also couldn’t ignore the growing suspicion that something was off. I needed clarity, not just speculation, and that’s when I found Cryptic Trace Technologies. From the moment I reached out, their team was professional, discreet, and incredibly understanding. HIRE A QUALIFIED ETHEREUM AND USDT RECOVERY EXPERT VISIT→FOLKWIN EXPERT RECOVERY.
It was during one session that my trainer casually mentioned his brother had used FOLKWIN EXPERT RECOVERY to recover $160,000 after a wallet disaster. I nodded along, pretending to be paying attention, while in my head thinking, "That's not gonna happen to me. I'm a crypto genius! " Famous last words, right?
A week later, a software glitch had locked me out of my $280,000 wallet, and suddenly I wasn't feeling quite so genius-like. I sat staring at the screen as my heart went through the floor. This was that 'once in a lifetime' they always spoke about, which would never happen to me. Panic mode: on. The usual 'click every button so it hopefully magically fixes itself' approach, complemented by less-than-legal-sounding Google searches, later, with no dice. The wallet was gone, and with it, my calmness. Then, it struck me-my trainer had talked about FOLKWIN EXPERT RECOVERY. I really wasn't expecting much, but at that juncture, I figured I had nothing left to lose except, you know, my $280,000. So I picked up the phone and called them, bracing myself for what I was sure would be an automated message asking if I wanted to leave a voicemail. But no, this time it was different: on the other end was a real human. A calm, composed human who sounded like they had their life together-something I hadn't felt in the last 30 minutes. FOLKWIN EXPERT RECOVERY didn't send me some generic recovery instructions but took me through it like a friend, presenting real solutions and steady guidance. They didn't treat me like some panicked, inexperienced crypto newbie, which I really was. They reassured me and knew just what to do; within hours, I had my funds back. I couldn't believe it; speechless was all that remained. Not only did they recover my wallet, but they also helped me secure it properly for the future. I was no longer the guy who thought he could just wing it with some random software updates. Now, I'm the guy who recommends FOLKWIN EXPERT RECOVERY to everyone at the gym, at work, and anywhere else I can get a captive audience. After all, if you're going to talk about losing $280,000, you might as well make sure the next person isn't you. So, my advice is not to underestimate the power of random gym conversations, because that one mention saved me from financial disaster. To get in touch with FOLKWIN EXPERT RECOVERY for assistance, WhatsApp +1 740-705-0711 them or email: FOLKWINEXPERTRECOVERY@TECH-CENTER (dot) C OM, And the next time you're about to do something dicey in crypto, remember to back up your wallet-and maybe listen a little closer to those offhand comments. You won't regret it, trust me.
Warm greetings,
Mis Karoline Leavitt.

Looking back, the hardest part wasn’t just losing the money—it was convincing myself to ask for help. When I lost CAD 35,000 to an investment scam, I was devastated. I felt humiliated and foolish. I kept thinking, “Who falls for these things?” The shame was overwhelming. I wanted to move on and forget about it, but the thought of that money being gone forever kept eating at me. That amount meant so much to me. I had just graduated from university and was working hard to build a future. Losing it felt like a huge setback. At first, I tried to push the feelings aside, telling myself to just accept the loss and move forward. But the more I thought about it, the harder it became to let go. I felt stuck, like the situation was hopeless. That’s when my sister stepped in. She had heard about Tech Cyber Force Recovery, a service that helped people recover lost funds from scams, and thought it might be worth a shot. I was skeptical at first. I’d heard of services that promised to help but didn’t deliver, and honestly, I didn’t think anything could undo the damage done. But my sister wouldn’t let it go. She reached out to Tech Cyber Force Recovery on my behalf, and within no time, I was on the phone with their team. What happened next completely blew me away. The team at Tech Cyber Force Recovery was nothing like I expected. They were professional, understanding, and incredibly transparent about the entire process. There were no gimmicks, no high-pressure tactics. They didn’t try to push me into anything I wasn’t comfortable with. Instead, they laid out a clear, simple plan to recover my funds. It felt like a weight had been lifted just hearing them explain their approach. I followed their instructions and provided the necessary details. Within three days, I was informed that they had successfully recovered 100% of my stolen funds. I honestly couldn’t believe it.

MOST RELIABLE BITCOIN RECOVERY COMPANY-CODER CYBER SERVICES
Despite some difficult days, I observed encouraging returns. Small things like getting cookies from the office kitchen still brought me joy. Life was moving forward, and my investments seemed to be paying off. I had started adding more money to an online platform, eager to optimize my gains. Who wouldn’t want to maximize returns when things were going so well? The platform had appeared legitimate at first, and I was excited about the steady progress my account was showing. But then, everything suddenly vanished. One morning, I logged into my account to check on my investments, only to be greeted by a stark message: “Account temporarily unavailable.” I refreshed the page, tried a different browser, and even attempted to log in from my phone all to no avail. My heart sank as I realized that the funds I had worked hard to grow seemed to have disappeared. After several failed attempts to contact customer service, I eventually received a vague email from the online platform. The message instructed me to stop interacting with the platform and suggested that I attempt a bank reversal for any deposits made. However, by this point, too much time had passed, and the window for initiating a reversal had long since closed. I felt trapped. The money I had invested seemed inaccessible, and the promise of returns that once felt so certain was now nothing more than a distant memory. Desperate for answers, I reported the situation to the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), hoping that their intervention might shed some light on what had happened and bring accountability to the platform. I also began sharing my experience on online forums and social media, hoping to raise awareness and prevent others from falling into the same trap. Still, I knew that waiting for a regulatory response could take time, and I wasn’t ready to give up on recovering my funds. In my frustration, I sought out a professional service called Coder Cyber Services. Known for their expertise in recovering funds from online platforms with questionable practices, they offered a more hands-on approach. I reached out to them, hoping they could help expedite the process of retrieving my blocked payout requests. The process with Coder Cyber Services was slow, each step unfolding like a puzzle with more questions than answers. Communication from their team was sparse, and the uncertainty began to take a toll on my patience. Yet, I couldn’t give up. The professionals at Coder Cyber Services assured me they were doing everything they could, and their experience gave me hope that my case could be resolved. After weeks of waiting, my persistence paid off. Coder Cyber Services successfully helped me recover my money. Their expertise and determination turned a seemingly hopeless situation around. I finally saw the funds I thought were lost returned to my account, which was an incredible relief. Reflecting on this experience, I’ve learned several valuable lessons. The most important is the necessity of caution when dealing with online platforms. While the potential for high returns is tempting, it’s crucial to ensure that any platform you trust with your money is reputable. My decision to invest without enough research or due diligence is a mistake I will never repeat. I also learned the importance of acting quickly. Time is often the enemy when dealing with financial platforms, especially those with questionable practices. Though my journey is still ongoing, this experience has made me more resilient. I will continue to approach future investments with greater caution, vigilance, and a commitment to understanding the risks involved. And I’ll always be grateful to Coder Cyber Services for helping me recover what I thought was lost for good. Get in touch with the company via:

9 Ways to Improve Your Website in 2020
Online customers are very picky these days. Plenty of quality sites and services tend to spoil them. Without leaving their homes, they can carefully probe your company and only then decide whether to deal with you or not. The first thing customers will look at is your website, so everything should be ideal there.
Not everyone succeeds in doing things perfectly well from the first try. For websites, this fact is particularly true. Besides, it is never too late to improve something and make it even better.
In this article, you will find the best recommendations on how to get a great website and win the hearts of online visitors.
Take care of security
It is unacceptable if customers who are looking for information or a product on your site find themselves infected with malware. Take measures to protect your site and visitors from new viruses, data breaches, and spam.
Take care of the SSL certificate. It should be monitored and updated if necessary.
Be sure to install all security updates for your CMS. A lot of sites get hacked through vulnerable plugins. Try to reduce their number and update regularly too.
Ride it quick
Webpage loading speed is what the visitor will notice right from the start. The war for milliseconds just begins. Speeding up a site is not so difficult. The first thing you can do is apply the old proven image compression. If that is not enough, work on caching or simplify your JavaScript and CSS code. Using CDN is another good advice.
Choose a quality hosting provider
In many respects, both the security and the speed of the website depend on your hosting provider. Do not get lost selecting the hosting provider. Other users share their experience with different providers on numerous discussion boards.
Content is king
Content is everything for the site. Content is blood, heart, brain, and soul of the website and it should be useful, interesting and concise. Selling texts are good, but do not chase only the number of clicks. An interesting article or useful instruction will increase customer loyalty, even if such content does not call to action.
Communication
Broadcasting should not be one-way. Make a convenient feedback form where your visitors do not have to fill out a million fields before sending a message. Do not forget about the phone, and what is even better, add online chat with a chatbot and\or live support reps.
Refrain from unpleasant surprises
Please mind, self-starting videos, especially with sound may irritate a lot of visitors and increase the bounce rate. The same is true about popups and sliders.
Next, do not be afraid of white space. Often site owners are literally obsessed with the desire to fill all the free space on the page with menus, banners and other stuff. Experiments with colors and fonts are rarely justified. Successful designs are usually brilliantly simple: white background + black text.
Mobile first
With such a dynamic pace of life, it is important to always keep up with trends, and the future belongs to mobile devices. We have already passed that line and mobile devices generate more traffic than desktop computers. This tendency will only increase, so adapt the layout and mind the mobile first and progressive advancement concepts.
Site navigation
Your visitors should be your priority. Use human-oriented terms and concepts to build navigation instead of search engine oriented phrases.
Do not let your visitors get stuck on your site. Always provide access to other pages, but be sure to mention which particular page will be opened so that the visitor understands exactly where and why he goes.
Technical audit
The site can be compared to a house - you always need to monitor the performance of all systems, and there is always a need to fix or improve something. Therefore, a technical audit of any project should be carried out regularly. It is always better if you are the first to notice the problem, and not your visitors or search engines.
As part of the audit, an analysis is carried out on such items as:
● Checking robots.txt / sitemap.xml files
● Checking duplicates and technical pages
● Checking the use of canonical URLs
● Monitoring 404 error page and redirects
There are many tools that help you monitor your website performance and run regular audits.
Conclusion
I hope these tips will help your site become even better. If you have questions or want to share useful lifehacks, feel free to comment below.

As a startup owner based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, I was excited to hire a freelance graphic designer for a complete branding package to launch my business. After some research, I found a highly recommended freelancer who seemed perfect for the job. The freelancer was professional, provided impressive samples of their work, and had great reviews from previous clients. We agreed on a high-paying contract, and to show my commitment, I paid a 50% upfront deposit of CAD 10,000.The freelancer was communicative and met deadlines as we moved through the project. I felt confident in the direction we were heading, and everything seemed to be on track. But when I finally received the completed designs, things took an unexpected turn. Despite my requests for some minor revisions, the freelancer stopped responding to emails and calls. As days passed, I became increasingly worried as they completely vanished. The contact email was suddenly invalid, and the phone number didn’t go through. Even the freelancer's website, which had seemed legitimate, was now offline.I realized that I had been scammed. Not only had I lost the remaining CAD 10,000 payment, but the branding designs I had received were unusable making the time, money, and energy I had put into this project a total waste. As a new business owner, this loss was incredibly hard to handle. It affected my ability to move forward with my plans and left me feeling helpless.Desperate for a solution, I reached out to SPARTAN TECH GROUP RETRIEVAL , a company I had heard about through some online reviews. I explained the entire situation, providing all the details: the freelancer’s communications, the fake website, and the transaction records. The team at SPARTAN TECH GROUP RETRIEVAL was incredibly professional and understanding, assuring me that they would use all their resources to track down the freelancer and recover my funds. To my amazement, within a few weeks, SPARTAN TECH GROUP RETRIEVAL had managed to trace the stolen money. They used advanced digital forensics to track the funds to an offshore account and collaborated with legal authorities to freeze it. After a thorough investigation, they successfully recovered the full CAD 10,000 and returned it to me.Not only did I get my money back, but SPARTAN TECH GROUP RETRIEVAL also took the time to educate me on how to verify the legitimacy of freelancers before hiring them. They recommended secure payment methods and advised me to conduct thorough background checks to avoid future scams. This was a wake-up call for me. As a business owner, I learned the importance of safeguarding myself against dishonest individuals. Thanks to SPARTAN TECH GROUP RETRIEVAL, I didn’t just recover my funds I gained the knowledge and confidence to continue growing my business while protecting myself from potential fraud.

Recovering Stolen Bitcoin: How To Retrieve Hacked Or Drained Bitcoin wallet → HACKATHON TECH SOLUTIONS
Loosing $275,000 was like watching my dreams go up in ashes. That kind of money was supposed to finance my second food truck—a milestone towards growing my small taco business. But instead, with a careless click, it was gone.
It started with what seemed like an ordinary SMS. It was Coinbase, telling me about suspicious action on my Bitcoin wallet. I was racing in my heart. I panicked. I clicked without thinking and supplied them with information. Within minutes, my wallet was drained—$275,000, every penny I'd earned in six years, stolen.
I was sick. Ashamed. Angry with myself. I thought I was safe on the net, but I got caught. I didn't even tell my family at first—I couldn't bear their disillusionment.
That day, doing tacos from my food truck, I was half-awake. I got a couple orders mixed up, I guess, because one of my regular customers—a nice, affable man I called "Professor Mike"—picked up that something was amiss. After I finally, explosively exclaimed what occurred, he didn't tease or reprimand me. He only nodded and responded, "Call HACKATHON TECH SOLUTIONS. Trust me."
It just so happened that Professor Mike was a cyber security expert. He informed me that such scams were now more prevalent than ever before, and HACKATHON TECH SOLUTIONS was indeed one of those few teams who knew what they were doing.
I phoned them that evening. From the first call, their customer service was calm, professional, and—most importantly—they did not make me feel stupid. They explained each step and comforted me that they would do whatever they could to get back my money.
They worked fast. Within a couple of days, they followed the scam to a burner phone scam ring. I have no idea what all of the technical work was that they did, but this I know—my Bitcoin was recovered. My wallet within 10 days, all my cents restored to where they ought to be.
I gazed upon that balance look, I cried. Over there in the truck, near the salsa booth.
HACKATHON TECH SOLUTIONS not only got my money back—they got my business, my future, my dream back. If you ever get scammed, don't lose hope. Call them. And if you ever come through my taco truck, tacos are on me. Reach out to HACKATHON TECH SOLUTIONS via below contact details

HOW TO TRACK AND RECLAIM YOUR LOST BITCOIN - VISIT FUNDS RETRIEVER ENGINEER
Courage doesn’t mean you don’t get afraid. Courage means you don’t let fear stop you. This mantra has been my guiding light throughout my journey as a military doctor. After years of dedicated service to my country, I found my true calling in healing others, striving to make a positive impact on the lives of my fellow soldiers and their families. My commitment to service extended far beyond the battlefield; I was determined to secure a stable future for my family. With my hard-earned savings, I invested $470,000 in cryptocurrency, believing it would provide the financial foundation we needed to thrive. However, everything changed one fateful day during a particularly intense deployment. While treating a patient amid an attack, my phone slipped from my hands and crashed to the ground. In the chaos of the moment, I realized with a sinking feeling that I hadn’t backed up my cryptocurrency wallet recovery phrase. I had always thought I had plenty of time to do so later, but that day proved otherwise. When I attempted to access my funds that night, panic surged through me as I discovered I could no longer access my wallet. My dreams of financial security and stability were vanishing right before my eyes. The betrayal I felt was profound. It was as if I had not only failed myself but also my family, who relied on me to provide for them. Each day in the ICU reminded me of my commitment to healing, and now I was left feeling helpless in the face of adversity. The emotional toll was unbearable; I feared losing everything I had worked so hard for, and the weight of that fear was crushing. I reached out to trusted colleagues and friends, hoping for a glimmer of hope. One fellow veteran mentioned FUNDS RETRIEVER ENGINEER, a reputable team known for their expertise in recovering lost digital assets. Intrigued yet skeptical, I decided to explore this option. The thought of potentially reclaiming my lost investment reignited a flicker of hope within me. As I navigated this challenging situation, I realized that courage is not the absence of fear but the determination to confront it. I was reminded that even in the darkest moments, there are paths to recovery and support. With the help of FUNDS RETRIEVER ENGINEER, I began to understand that my journey was not just about financial loss but also about resilience, community, and the unwavering spirit to rise above adversity .

RECOVERY LOST CRYPTOCURRENCY FROM SCAM INVESTMENT PLATFORM: CONSULT RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY
My quest for financial independence began with ambition but nearly ended in ruin. Desperate to escape the grind of traditional investments, I plunged headfirst into cryptocurrency, lured by stories of overnight wealth. With no prior experience, I committed $800,000 to a platform that radiated credibility: polished interfaces, “verified” testimonials, and persuasive brokers who swore returns would dwarf my risks. What I didn’t admit even to myself was how much I’d gambled. The investment wasn’t just my savings; I’d even taken a loan, mortgaging my future to fuel this dream. For months, dashboards showed soaring profits, and I celebrated prematurely, believing I’d cracked the code to prosperity. But when I tried to withdraw funds, the nightmare began. Endless delays. Opaque fees. Then, radio silence. The platform vanished overnight, leaving me stranded. Reality struck like a physical blow: I’d been scammed. My savings were gone, and the debt I’d taken on loomed like a guillotine. The aftermath was catastrophic. Creditors hounded me. Shame gnawed at my sanity. How could I explain this to my family? To myself? I’d risked everything even borrowed beyond my means to chase a mirage. The weight of failure dragged me into a pit of despair. Sleep became impossible. I’d stare at my phone, willing the scammers to reply, while suicidal whispers taunted me: This is how it ends. A friend intervened, urging me to contact RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY...WhatsApp: +1 4 14 80 71 4 85.. Skeptical but desperate, I submitted my case, clinging to the frail hope that experts could undo the irreversible. Their response was immediate. Unlike the scammers, they spoke with precision, dissecting the fraud: fake wallets, fabricated transactions, and offshore accounts designed to launder funds. They warned recovery would be arduous but possible. RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY became my lifeline....Email: rapid digital recovery (@) execs. com.. Their team traced cryptocurrency footprints across continents, collaborating with regulators to freeze assets and force accountability. They decoded the scam’s infrastructure, revealing how my loan-funded investment had been funneled into anonymous wallets. Every step was documented; every update, a flicker of hope. Weeks later, the impossible happened: funds began trickling back. First a fraction, then more, until nearly the entire $800,000 including the loan amount was recovered. The relief was visceral. Beyond restoring my finances, they salvaged my dignity. RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY didn’t just expose the scam; they educated me, equipping me to spot fraud and invest wisely. Today, I’m rebuilding not just my wealth, but my trust in humanity. If you’re trapped in a similar hell, know this: there is a way out. As an IT student at the Australian National University (ANU), I’ve always been passionate about technology and its potential to transform businesses. One of my goals was to create an online shop to sell handmade crafts, a side hustle I had been dreaming about for months. I knew how to develop a website, so I felt confident about the technical side of things. However, I quickly learned that building a website was only half the battle. Finding a reliable hosting service was equally important. One evening after class, I decided to take the plunge and set up my online shop. I searched for hosting services and stumbled upon a company that promised incredible features: unlimited bandwidth, 24/7 customer support, and a 99.9% uptime guarantee all at an unbelievably low price. Excited by the offer, I signed up and paid AUD 5000 for a two-year plan. At first, everything seemed fine. I set up my website, uploaded product photos, and even processed a few test orders. But within a week, things started to go wrong. My website would crash frequently, and the customer support team was nowhere to be found. Emails went unanswered, and the phone lines were disconnected. It didn’t take long for me to realize I had been scammed. Feeling devastated, I reached out to CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVEN, a company specializing in tracing online fraud. I provided them with all the details of the transaction, including emails, receipts, and the fake website’s URL. Their team worked tirelessly to track down the scammers and recover my funds. To my relief, they successfully retrieved my AUD 5000 and provided me with advice on how to avoid similar scams in the future. This experience taught me a valuable lesson about the importance of due diligence when dealing with online services. As an IT student, I should have known better, but the allure of a great deal clouded my judgment. Now, I always research companies thoroughly, read reviews, and verify their credentials before making any payments. My online shop is finally up and running, hosted by a reputable provider, and I’ve even incorporated this experience into my studies, focusing on cybersecurity and fraud prevention. It’s a reminder that even in the digital age, trust and vigilance are essential.

LEADING BTC RECOVERY COMPANY-CODER CYBER SERVICES
As a real estate investor, I am always cautious about where I put my money. I’ve learned the hard way that not every opportunity is what it seems, so I usually take my time to do thorough research before committing. When I came across an online platform offering exclusive property deals with high returns, I was intrigued but skeptical. The website, realatorsCA com, looked professional, and the salesperson was incredibly persuasive. He explained that the investment would be used to buy land, develop it by building properties, and then sell them for a profit. This seemed like a solid business model, and the idea of earning profits from such ventures was appealing. After weeks of research, checking reviews, and asking questions, I decided to invest CAD 42,700 in what seemed like a promising opportunity. At first, everything seemed fine. I received regular updates about the projects, and my online account showed “profits” from my investment. Everything appeared legitimate, and I was optimistic about my decision. The website offered easy access to my account, and the platform seemed to be functioning just as advertised. However, when I tried to withdraw some of my funds to see how the process worked, the website suddenly went offline. My attempts to reach the customer service number went unanswered, and eventually, the phone number was disconnected. At that point, I realized that I had been scammed.I felt devastated and helpless. It was hard to believe that I had been tricked, especially after doing so much research. But I didn’t give up. I reached out to Coder Cyber Services, a company operating in Banff, Alberta. I provided them with all the details I had: the website, transaction records, and emails from the scammer. Their team was incredibly supportive and assured me that they would use their expertise to help recover my funds.Coder Cyber Services used advanced digital forensics to trace the scammer’s digital footprint. They identified the offshore account where my money had been transferred and worked tirelessly with international authorities to freeze the account. Within a few weeks, they successfully recovered the full CAD 42,700.The relief was indescribable. Thanks to Coder Cyber Services, not only did I get my money back, but I also learned valuable lessons on how to avoid future scams. EXPERIENCED CRYPTOCURRENCY RECOVERY COMPANY ⁚ CONTACT DIGITAL HACK RECOVERY FOR BEST SERVICES
Imagine waking up, groggily reaching for your phone to check your crypto balance, only to find out you’re locked out of your Bitcoin wallet, holding a cool $550,000. No explanation, no warning—just an impenetrable wall between you and your hard-earned fortune. Yep, that’s how my day started, and let me tell you, it wasn’t the morning coffee that got my heart racing. It felt like I had been shoved into a financial horror movie, except instead of a masked villain, it was my Bitcoin wallet holding me hostage.
After the initial panic—and after realizing that yelling at my laptop wasn’t going to magically unlock my wallet—I did what any reasonable person would do: I turned to Google. After several hours of frantic research, which mostly led to dead ends and sketchy forums, I finally stumbled across something that didn’t look like a scam: Digital Hack Recovery. It sounded almost too good to be true, but at this point, I was willing to try anything short of selling my soul to get that $550,000 back.

And let me tell you, their forensic approach to wallet recovery was nothing short of magic (or at least, the kind of magic that involves a lot of advanced technology I’ll never understand).
The best part? They kept me updated throughout the entire process. I wasn’t left sitting around, anxiously biting my nails, wondering if I’d ever see my Bitcoin again. Every step of the way, they communicated what they were doing and why, which put me at ease—something that’s no small feat when you’re staring at a locked wallet with $550,000 inside. And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, there were no hidden fees. None. Nada. Everything was upfront and transparent, which is something you don’t often find in the world of cryptocurrency.
Before I knew it, Digital Hack Recovery had done the impossible. They restored full access to my wallet, and I didn’t lose a single satoshi. It was as if the whole nightmare had never happened, except I now had a newfound appreciation for wallet security (and a checklist of things not to do in the future). They’re the real deal, and trust me, they’ll bring your funds back where they belong: in your wallet, not lost in some digital black hole. For quick assistance contact Digital Hack Recovery through⁚

HOW TO RECOVER USDT (Tether) LOST TO A FRAUDULENT INVESTMENT PLATFORM
My name is Alex. I’m a hardworking auto mechanic in Florida. I don’t have a fancy degree or a Wall Street background—I just know how to fix engines, change tires, and give people honest work. I’ve spent years under the hood, saving every penny I could to build a better future for my family. I never thought I’d fall victim to a scam, let alone one that almost destroyed my life.
It all started when I came across a well-advertised movement called FIRE — Financial Independence, Retire Early. It sounded like a dream come true. They offered investment strategies through cryptocurrency that promised rapid returns and long-term wealth. I followed their advice, watched webinars, and even got on phone calls with so-called financial advisors who fed me charts, projections, and the kind of words that made me believe I was finally on the right track.
Over a few months, I invested more than $97,000—my entire life savings. It was everything I had saved from long days in the shop, weekends spent working extra hours, and holidays skipped just to get by. At first, everything seemed legit. My “account” kept showing growth. I thought I’d finally made a smart move for my family’s future.
Then one day, everything was gone.
The platform vanished. The emails stopped. The so-called advisors blocked me. My money—my future—was stolen, just like that. I was numb. Angry. I couldn’t eat, couldn’t sleep. I tried to trace their crypto wallets. I filed reports, contacted the authorities, and even tried tracking them down myself. But the trail went cold. They were ghosts on the internet.
That experience broke me. I felt like a fool. I fix cars for a living—I didn’t belong in the world of crypto, and this was my punishment for trying to reach beyond my means.
Then, when all hope seemed lost, I came across a post about AUTOPSY MAINNET RECOVERY. I thought, “What do I have to lose?” I emailed them at Autopsymainnetrecovery@autopsy.co.site, expecting just another dead end.
But this time… it was different.
They responded quickly. They spoke to me like a human being—not just another case. Their team launched a full investigation, analyzed blockchain activity, followed every suspicious transaction. They were relentless, determined, and unbelievably skilled.
Within a few days, they recovered over 83% of my stolen crypto.
I stood in my garage with tears in my eyes. Not just because I got my money back—but because someone finally stood up for people like me. I wasn’t just another victim. I mattered.
AUTOPSY MAINNET RECOVERY didn’t just return my assets—they restored my dignity. If you're out there, hurting and feeling helpless, know this: you are not alone. These people are the real deal. Don’t give up. Reach out. Fight back—with the best team on your side.
They gave me my life back. Let them do the same for you.

My spouse and I were devastated. What started as a promising crypto investment ended up being a cleverly disguised scam. We had put in a significant portion of our savings money we’d set aside for our children’s future, for emergencies, for peace of mind.At first, everything seemed legitimate. The platform had professional branding, 24/7 support, and even a dashboard that showed our ‘profits’ growing steadily. But when we tried to withdraw a portion of our funds, the excuses started. Then came the silence. Our accounts were frozen, emails ignored, and phone numbers disconnected. It felt like a nightmare we couldn’t wake up from. After weeks of stress, guilt, and sleepless nights, we came across Washington Recovery Pro. Skeptical but desperate, we reached out and it turned out to be the best decision we could have made. They listened without judgment. Their team walked us through every step, carefully gathering evidence, tracking digital transactions, and building a case to trace and recover what we had lost. They were honest about the process it wasn’t magic, and it wouldn’t happen overnight but they assured us it was possible.Weeks later, we received the incredible news: a portion of our funds had been successfully recovered and returned to our account. For the first time in months, we breathed easier. We smiled again. Thanks to Washington Recovery Pro, we reclaimed not just our money, but our hope.

I Thought It Was All Gone! One minute, I struggled through the rush-hour chaos at Grand Central; the next, my phone was gone. A sly pickpocket had stolen it right out of my coat pocket. The panic set in immediately. That phone was my portal to everything, including access to my $315,000 Bitcoin fortune, set aside for my children's education. With my device lost, my two-factor authentication codes were out of reach, and the exchange did not have a backup recovery option. My mind raced: my children losing college educations, my careful financial planning ruined by seconds of distraction.
I stumbled over onto a bench, cradling my briefcase in life-preserver mode. Catching my breath through tears, I was suddenly hit with sympathy from a strange, kind old gentleman whose newspaper sported a circle of coffee spots—and who gave me a rough but hopeful-scribbled brochure. "Tech Cyber Force Recovery pulled my brother from a terror such as you just experienced. Call them up, son." Desperation got the better of doubt. I called in the afternoon. Their crew took to me immediately from the beginning. They sat and listened to the entire thing, every detail of how crowded the station had been to how fearful I was for my children's future. They assured me that all of this could be fixed. Their peaceful belief lifted me like a life preserver that floated me along.
The process of recovery was as meticulous as open-heart surgery. They spoke directly to my exchange provider, coordinating time zones and levels of security. I received daily updates, always in plain human language. Even when nothing had yet changed, they would send me reassuring messages to inform me they were still fighting for me. After eight long days, the call came. My wallet was restored. Tech Cyber Force Recovery did more than recover my Bitcoin, they recovered my peace of mind and my family's future.

I Thought My Nest Egg Was Immobile Permanently! Overseas travel is glamorous until you are at 37,000 feet, trying to cope with different time zones, airport security queues, and dodgy Wi-Fi that cannot even open an email, never mind providing your future funding. I had stashed $890,000 of Bitcoin away as my retirement nest egg, a nest egg made of decades of hard work. That sense of security evaporated in thin air when I replaced my phone and forgot to update the two-factor authentication settings on my wallet.
Somewhere across the Atlantic, turbulence rattled the plane, but the real storm was the panic in my chest when I realized that I could not access my wallet. Tired and flustered, I arrived with the dread realization that my virtual fortune was now as out of reach as the stars in the sky. The frustration mounted as I hopscotched from airport to airport. Customer service droids, robot call centers, and half-baked solutions had me addressing vending machines instead of human beings. That was before a layover in Singapore where, bleary-eyed and clutching my third cup of coffee, I chanced upon a travel vlogger's YouTube video raving about Tech Cyber Force Recovery.
With nothing to lose, I called. From the first message itself, it was different. These were actual people, smart, caring, and willing to work around my insane schedule. They scheduled calls during my layovers and adjusted to the chaos of traveling overseas like pros.
Their engineers delved deep into my issue, analyzing time-stamped authentication records. It was as if watching a digital detective movie, minus the stakes: my future. For over 14 hair-on-end days, they weathered the 2FA bug like pilots navigating through turbulence. Then the message came: Access restored. All the Bitcoins were present. I almost cried into my airport ramen. That weight was lifted from my shoulders, and the feeling that all those years of careful planning weren't wasted, was indescribable.

Our mission is to provide essential resources, education, and healthcare to those in need. In 2017, I made a strategic investment in Bitcoin, hoping it would grow into a substantial financial resource to expand our charity's outreach.
Fast-forward to 2024, my Bitcoin holdings had skyrocketed to nearly $900,000 – a life-changing amount earmarked for future projects. Our charity was on the cusp of implementing groundbreaking initiatives, and this fund would be the catalyst. 🚀 “I Wanted GitHub Copilot in My Pocket — So I Built It Myself”
For years, I’ve had this weird habit of coding from random places — cafés, buses, hospital waiting rooms, you name it. But every time inspiration hit, I found myself thinking the same thing:
“Man, I wish I could just use Copilot on my phone.”
It’s 2025. We’ve got AI writing novels, generating music, and summarizing 500-page research papers in 2 seconds — yet somehow, GitHub Copilot still refuses to leave the comfort of VS Code on desktop.
So I decided to fix that.
💡 The Idea
It started as frustration — a “wouldn’t it be cool if” moment. I was halfway through an idea for a small project on a train, and my brain screamed:
“Why can’t I just ask Copilot to finish this function right now?”
VS Code was sitting at home, my laptop was dead, and all I had was my phone.
That night, I scribbled this into my notes app:
“Bridge Copilot from VS Code → phone → secure channel → no cloud.”
At the time, it sounded insane. Who even wants to make their life harder by reverse-engineering Copilot responses and piping them into React Native?
Apparently — me.
🧩 The Architecture (aka “How to Lose Sleep in 4 Easy Steps”)
The system ended up like this:
VS Code Extension <-> WebSocket <-> Discovery API (Go + Redis) <-> React Native App
Here’s how it works:
The VS Code extension runs locally, listening to Copilot’s output stream.
A Go backend acts as a matchmaker — helping my phone and PC find each other securely.
The mobile app connects via WebSocket and authenticates with a 6-digit pairing code.
Once paired, they talk directly. No repo data leaves your machine.
It’s like a tiny encrypted tunnel between your phone and VS Code — only it’s not VPN magic, just some careful WebSocket dancing and token rotation.
🛠️ The Stack
Frontend (Mobile): React Native (Expo)
Backend: Go + Redis for connection brokering
VS Code Extension: TypeScript
Security: JWT + rotating session keys
AI Layer: GitHub Copilot (local interface)
🧠 The Challenges
There’s a difference between an “idea” and a “12-hour debugging nightmare that makes you question your life choices.”
Cross-Network Discovery:
How to connect phone and desktop on different networks?
→ A lightweight Redis broker that just handles handshakes.
Security:
I wasn’t making a mini TeamViewer for hackers.
→ Added expiring pairing codes, user-approval dialogs, and local-only token storage.
Copilot Response Streaming:
Copilot doesn’t have a nice public API.
→ Hooked into VS Code’s Copilot output and streamed it over WebSocket.
(Yes, 2% genius and 98% madness.)
UX:
The first version had a 10-second delay.
After optimizing WebSocket batching and Redis latency, it’s now near-instant.
🤯 The “Holy Sh*t, It Works” Moment
The first time my phone sent a prompt — and my VS Code actually answered with Copilot’s suggestion — I legit screamed.
Like, full-on victory dance in the middle of the night.
There’s something surreal about watching your phone chat with your desktop like they’re old coding buddies.
Now I can literally say:
“Copilot, write me a REST API,”
and my phone responds with fully generated code pulled from my local VS Code instance.
No VPN. No cloud syncing. Just pure, geeky magic.
⚡ The Lessons
The hardest problems aren’t technical — they’re psychological.
Fighting “this is impossible” is the real challenge.
Speed matters more than perfection.
Devs don’t want beauty; they want responsiveness. Anything over 1s feels broken.
Security must never be an afterthought.
I treated this like a bank tunnel between devices, not a toy.
Build for yourself first.
I didn’t make this for investors or glory — I made it because I wanted it.
That’s the best reason to build anything.
🧭 The Future
Now that it’s working, I’m turning this experiment into something shareable.
The dream: an app that lets every developer carry Copilot wherever they go — safely and instantly.
Imagine debugging on your couch, or editing code in bed, or just whispering to your AI assistant while waiting for coffee.
Phones today are more powerful than early NASA computers.
Why shouldn’t they also be your code editor sidekick?
So yeah, that’s my story.
I built VSCoder Copilot — because I wanted to code from anywhere, and I refused to wait for permission.
If you’ve ever built something just to scratch your own itch, you already know this feeling.
That mix of frustration, caffeine, and late-night triumph that reminds you why you fell in love with coding in the first place.
Because at the end of the day, that’s what we do:
We make ideas real — one ridiculous hack at a time. 💻🔥9 -

LOST BITCOIN AND BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY HIRE DUNAMIS CYBER SOLUTION
633869Hi, I’m Robert. My journey into the world of Bitcoin began in 2024, thanks to a crypto-savvy classmate who casually mentioned his investments during a study session. Until then, I only had a passing interest in cryptocurrencies. But that conversation piqued my curiosity, and I began researching more about Bitcoin and blockchain technology. What started as casual reading quickly turned into a growing fascination. Eventually, I decided to take the plunge and invested a modest amount, something I considered more of an experiment than a serious financial move.To my surprise, that small gamble paid off. Within months, my investment skyrocketed, reaching an incredible $100,000. Watching that number rise was thrilling; it felt like I had stumbled into the future of finance. I was euphoric, imagining all the possibilities this sudden windfall could bring. For a while, I truly felt like I had unlocked a door to financial freedom. That feeling didn’t last long. In early 2025, everything took a dramatic turn. After a wild college party, I woke up to discover my phone was missing, lost somewhere in the chaos of the night. Losing a phone is bad enough, but my real panic set in when I remembered that my Bitcoin wallet’s two-factor authentication was tied to that device. I didn’t have backup codes. Just like that, I was locked out of my fortune. The helplessness I felt was overwhelming. I couldn’t believe I might have just lost $100,000 overnight.I confided in a friend, who mentioned a company called DUNAMIS CYBER SOLUTION .I was hesitant to believe it; these things usually sound too good to be true, but I had nothing to lose. I contacted them, hoping for even a sliver of hope. To my surprise, their team was not only responsive but incredibly knowledgeable. They assured me that recovery was possible, even without access to my phone or codes. In less than a week, they delivered. I regained full access to my Bitcoin wallet. That moment was indescribable relief, gratitude, and disbelief all at once. Thanks to DUNAMIS CYBER SOLUTION I got a second chance. Now, I take my digital security much more seriously and will always be grateful for the help when I needed it most.2 -
My aspiration is to create green houses. I've long believed that a green future starts with the houses we live in. The same belief led me to invest in Bitcoin, gradually amassing a $670,000 portfolio to bankroll my dream of a zero-waste neighborhood of houses. But one rash click was enough to watch my carefully built plans go up in flames. It was a ruthless week. Deadlines were piling up, subcontractors were behind schedule, and my caffeine intake had reached record heights. During the chaos, I installed what I thought was a run-of-the-mill update to Ledger Live. It looked legit, neat logo, familiar design, but it was a wolf in sheep's clothing digital. The moment I entered my wallet details, the screen flashed, and the app vanished. My heart stopped. My Bitcoin was stolen. Panic turned into sleepless nights. I searched on forums, called customer support, and wallowed in guilt. My dream project, the green oasis I had envisioned, was now nothing more than a mirage. Just as despair was starting to creep in, I came across an article in a newsletter detailing green technology. Buried among stories of advances in solar energy and carbon-free cities was a piece on CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVEN, a team that specializes in recovering stolen cryptocurrency assets. They referred to their work as 'digital sustainability,' restoring not just wallets, but financial futures.
I reached out to them right away. They treated my situation like an architect's blueprints, detailed, innovative, and built on trust right from the first call. Their head tech, who might as well be a moonlighting detective, dismantled the malware that had duped me. They tracked the breach, mapped the transfer, and started their recovery protocols. Daily, I received reports, not mechanical but human, genuine assurances. They laid out each step like sketching construction blueprints clear, step-by-step, detailed. The twelfth day was the day the phone call came. My Bitcoin was okay again. Each virtual brick in place once more. I dissolved, this time not with hysteria, but relief. I Thought My Future Was Built—Until It Crumbled I thought my future had come crashing down until I came across CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVEN. CRANIX ETHICAL SOLUTIONS HAVEN did not just retrieve my investment. They restored my dream. Today, the foundation for my eco-housing project is stronger than ever, and so is my cybersecurity.

I Could Hardly Breathe! Months of tireless fundraising had finally come through for my small nonprofit, and we had $300,000 in Bitcoin to supply food, shelter, and medical aid to refugees fleeing war. That fund was hope, a future for families who had no other place to turn. It all fell apart in an instant. Our treasurer, a man I'd trusted like a brother, vanished overnight and took the entire fund with him. I was heartbroken. The weight of the people who were depending on us pressed against my chest. I could hardly breathe. I looked at my screen, powerless to do anything as the blockchain ledger confirmed my worst nightmare, the funds had been moved through a series of wallets, vanished into thin air.
Sleepless and remorseful, I consulted a crisis management expert in a desperate phone call. With the calm, panic-slashing tone of her voice, she spoke GRAYWARE TECH SERVICES . Her confidence was the sort that spoke of seen miracles. At that straw of hope, I grasped and called them immediately.
From that first call, GRAYWARE TECH SERVICES treated my case like those refugee lives were in their own hands. Their lead investigator explained their approach, tracing transactions through blockchains, monitoring wallet activity, and leveraging relationships with international exchanges. They explained it all in plain terms, never once making me feel dumb for my ignorance. They understood both the technical complexity and the human stakes.
There were daily progress reports. They followed the laundering path our treasurer had attempted, following the trail through the decentralized exchanges and privacy-focused mixers. Each breakthrough was like a heartbeat resuscitating a stilled chest. On the nineteenth day, they called with the words I had scarcely dared to hope: "We got it back."
I got down on my knees and wept. $300,000 was safely recovered to our nonprofit wallet. But GRAYWARE TECH SERVICES didn't hesitate. They guided us through implementing enhanced security measures, such as multi-signature wallets, cold storage solutions, and rigorous internal oversight. They even advised us on vetting future financial officers.
Our mission is stronger today than ever. Refugee families are still being assisted, and I sleep well knowing our funds are secure. GRAYWARE TECH SERVICES not only retrieved our Bitcoin, they restored my faith in resiliency and human kindness.

Losing $101,505 overnight was a gut-wrenching experience. One moment, my financial future seemed secure—the next, it had vanished. The investment platform I had trusted abruptly locked my account, citing vague “suspicious activity,” then fell completely silent. What followed was a nightmare of automated emails, chatbot loops, and unanswered phone calls. Customer service offered only scripted apologies, with no timeline or real support. I felt powerless, overwhelmed, and full of regret. How had I let this happen?
As painful as the experience was, it taught me invaluable lessons about financial vigilance. Website info: h t t p s:// adware recovery specialist. com
First, due diligence is non-negotiable. I had been swayed by sleek marketing and unrealistic promises of “guaranteed returns,” without properly investigating the platform’s credibility. Had I looked deeper, I would’ve uncovered troubling red flags—unverified claims, a murky operational history, and filtered reviews that masked real user experiences.
Second, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Promises of high, consistent returns with “zero risk” should’ve triggered immediate skepticism. But in my urgency and greed, I ignored my instincts.
And third, responsive support is essential. When things went south, the absence of real human help made everything worse. Reputable financial platforms prioritize accountability and transparency—qualities this company clearly lacked. Email info: Adware recovery specialist @ auctioneer. net
My turning point came when I connected with ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST, a firm that focuses on recovering cryptocurrency and digital assets. Though skeptical at first, I was desperate—and determined. I documented everything: transactions, emails, and conversations. Their team launched a thorough forensic audit, reached out to legal entities, and persistently followed up with payment processors. Incredibly, they recovered 92% of my funds—a remarkable win given the odds.
This ordeal has permanently reshaped how I approach finances. Today, I verify every platform through regulatory bodies, explore independent reviews, and test customer service responsiveness before investing. Risk management isn’t fear—it’s wisdom. My father, a retired schoolteacher, has always been cautious with his money. He worked hard his entire life to build a modest retirement fund and trusted that it would support him in his golden years. So, when he told me about an “exclusive” investment opportunity in cryptocurrency that promised high returns, I was immediately suspicious. But he was convinced it was legitimate—after all, the website looked professional, and the salesperson had been so persuasive over the phone. Despite my warnings, he invested 15,000 USD of his savings. At first, everything seemed fine. He received regular updates and saw “profits” reflected in his online account. But when he tried to withdraw some money, the website suddenly went offline, and the phone number was disconnected. My father was devastated. He had been scammed, and his hard-earned savings were gone. I knew I had to act quickly. I reached out to TECH CYBER FORCE RECOVERY, a company I had read about online that specialized in tracing online fraud. I explained the situation, providing them with all the details: the fake website, the transaction records, and even the emails from the scammer. The team at TECH CYBER FORCE RECOVERY was incredibly understanding and assured me they would do everything possible to help. Using their expertise in digital forensics, they traced the scammer’s digital footprint and identified the offshore account where the money had been transferred. They worked tirelessly with international authorities to freeze the account and recover the funds. Within a few weeks, they successfully returned the 15,000 USD to my father. The relief on his face was indescribable. Not only had TECH CYBER FORCE RECOVERY restored his savings, but they had also given him peace of mind. They even took the time to educate him on how to spot investment scams in the future, empowering him to protect himself. This brought our family closer together. My father now understands the importance of skepticism and due diligence, and I’m grateful to TECH CYBER FORCE RECOVERY for their incredible work. They didn’t just recover money, they restored my father’s faith in justice and gave him a second chance to enjoy his retirement.

As a retired dentist, I found myself with ample free time but limited financial security. In search of a way to grow my savings, I turned to cryptocurrency trading. I joined several online forums and communities, where I read about the success others had found with Bitcoin. Their testimonies inspired me to take the plunge. With careful research and strategic investments, I managed to turn my initial investment into $250,000.The financial success brought a renewed sense of purpose and stability to my retirement. However, this newfound prosperity also attracted the envy of someone close to me: my financial advisor, whom I had trusted for years. Unbeknownst to me, he had been monitoring my success closely. One evening, while I was cooking supper, my financial advisor accessed my phone and changed the passwords to my accounts, attempting to transfer my Bitcoin to his wallet. I discovered this betrayal shortly after, feeling a mix of shock, panic, and anger. My financial future was in jeopardy, and I needed to act quickly. In my desperate search for a solution, I stumbled upon Cyber Constable Intelligence, a service specializing in recovering hacked accounts and lost cryptocurrency. With my savings hanging in the balance, I reached out to them, hoping for a miracle. The team at Cyber Constable Intelligence was prompt and professional. They reassured me that, despite the seriousness of my situation, there was a good chance they could help. Their calm and confident demeanor provided some much-needed comfort. They guided me through the recovery process, taking over the technical aspects and working tirelessly to regain control of my accounts. In a remarkably short time, Cyber Constable Intelligence managed to restore my access to my accounts and secure my Bitcoin. The relief I felt was indescribable. Not only had they recovered my funds, but they also provided essential advice on how to enhance the security of my digital assets. This experience taught me several valuable lessons. Firstly, trust must be carefully placed, even with long-term associates. Secondly, it's crucial to secure your digital assets with strong, unique passwords and two-factor authentication. Lastly, seeking professional help in times of crisis can make all the difference. After regaining control of my accounts, I severed ties with my financial advisor and took steps to ensure my assets were protected. Despite the ordeal, I emerged more knowledgeable and determined to safeguard my future. My experience with Cyber Constable Intelligence not only saved my investments but also reinforced the importance of vigilance and security in the digital age. -
Is my iPhone hacked or bugged? [GrayHat Hacks Review] Remove spyware
A few weeks ago, I had noticed my wife acting increasingly suspicious and secretive, and it was as if she knew my every move. I realized that my laptop had become annoyingly slow and would randomly redirect me to unfamiliar websites on its own. My phone would sometimes light up with notifications that I hadn't received. I'm not the most tech-savvy person, but even I knew that something was off. That's when I stumbled upon the term 'spyware' and the horrifying reality of how it could be used to invade someone's privacy.
Desperate to know the truth, I found myself in a dark corner of the internet, searching for a way to get to the bottom of my suspicions. That's when I came across a review for GrayHat Hacks Contractor, a team of ethical hackers well versed in hacking and spywares. I sent them an email detailing my situation and the signs that had led me to suspect my wife. To my surprise, they responded within minutes, offering a free consultation and assuring me of their confidentiality.
They explained their process and the tools they would use to scan my devices for any signs of intrusion. They were incredibly thorough, explaining the different types of spyware that could be planted and the ways they could be hidden. The actual process of detection and removal was done remotely. They provided clear, step-by-step instructions on how to give them secure access to my iPhone and laptop.
The results were shocking. Within a few hours, they had found and removed not one, but multiple instances of spyware on both my phone and computer. The extent of the violation was staggering. My wife had been tracking my location, reading my messages, and even listening in on my calls. I was devastated, not just because of the betrayal, but because I had been living under constant surveillance in what I had thought was a sanctuary of privacy.
Armed with the evidence, I approached my wife with a heavy heart. Through tears and anger, she admitted to installing the spyware, driven by her own insecurities and suspicions. She confessed to an affair that had been going on while I was away on business, a classic case of projection. Turns out that she was the one that was cheating. GrayHat Hacks Contractor not only removed the spywares but also taught me how to protect my devices and privacy in the future.
Our relationship is now a work in progress, filled with healing and rebuilding trust. The pain of her infidelity still lingers, but with the truth out in the open, we can begin to move forward. If you ever find yourself in a situation where you suspect your privacy is being invaded, I urge you to consider contacting GrayHat Hacks Contractor.

RECOVER YOUR CRYPTO ASSETS WITH DIGITAL HACK RECOVERY, REBUILD YOUR FINANCIAL FUTURE
It was one of those casual work Zoom calls where somebody just haphazardly threw in "Digital Hack Recovery" as if it was part of office gossip. And I was just like, cool, but I'm probably never going to need that. Fast forward a month, and I stared at my computer screen, horrified, having fallen for some fake Ledger update that wiped out my $330,000 wallet. Suddenly, that casual mention was the most important thing I'd ever heard in my life. I was paralyzed with panic. I felt like I'd just lost a small fortune-because I had-and the shame of it all kept me frozen. I was too embarrassed to admit what had happened and way too anxious to even know how to fix it. But then, that Zoom call came to mind. I remembered my colleague's offhand remark about Digital Hack Recovery and thought, "Why not? What do I have to lose, other than everything? So, I dialed the number, and within seconds, the team was on it. They did not bat an eyelid as I told them my sad tale of wallet disaster. The calm, collected, and-professional-dare I say it-came through the phone so confidently, like I was talking to a group of crypto superheroes-outback, no capes, just serious recovery skills. What followed was an efficient flurry: they worked magic, got back my $330,000, and set me up with all-new security so I don't repeat that whole disaster. They didn't just fix it; they made sure I knew how to secure myself for the future. It was no more 'me', the guy whose definition of "security" includes crossing his fingers and hoping. Now I'm the one who actually knows the difference between a seed phrase and a shopping list. It's funny, in retrospect: that Zoom call was the plot twist I never saw coming. Who knew a throwaway comment about a recovery service would prove to be my crypto lifeline? If only I'd known that was the important stuff back then! But, you know, better late than never! Thanks to Digital Hack Recovery, I am back on track-not just regarding crypto investments, but way more security-cautious than I'd ever been before.
Lesson learned? Never skip those casual mentions of recovery services during work Zoom calls; you never know when you need to call upon them to save you from this or that costly mistake. Reach out to Digital Hack Recovery via⁚

GRAYHATHACKS CONTRACTOR HELPED ME GET PROOF THAT MY HUSBAND WAS HAVING AN AFFAIR
Hi there. You know, the kind of situation where you're not sure if you're making the right decision, but you know you need answers. That's where I was a few months ago. My husband had been acting so distant, so suspicious, and so overprotective of his phone. The gut-wrenching feeling of not knowing what was happening was eating me up inside. I'd catch him smiling at his screen when he thought I wasn't looking, and then he'd quickly switch it off when I walked into the room. The whispers and secret calls were just too much to bear.
That's when I stumbled upon Grayhathacks Contractor. At first, I was skeptical, but desperation can make you consider things you never thought you would. I reached out to them, and from the get-go, they were so understanding and professional. They made me feel like I wasn't alone, like I was doing the right thing for my peace of mind. And boy, did they come through for me!
The process was surprisingly simple. They had me send over my husband's phone details, and they got to work right away. Within a week, they sent me a detailed report that had me floored. It was like they had peeled back the layers of deceit and laid bare his infidelity. The damning data they harvested from his phone and laptop was overwhelming. They found text messages, emails, and WhatsApp chats that left no doubt in my mind. He was having an affair with a colleague from work. The conversations were explicit, filled with lovey-dovey language and promises that should've been reserved for me. There were dates, times, and even hotel bookings that coincided with nights he claimed to be working late. And the photos! The raw pain of seeing those images of him with someone else is something I'll never forget.
The thing that really got me, though, was the voice memos. Hearing his voice, saying things to her that he hadn't said to me in years, was devastating. But it was also the proof I needed to finally confront him. And when I did, he couldn't lie his way out of it. The evidence was right there, cold and clear. Their spyware was top-notch. It was undetectable, and it gave me access to everything: his calls, messages, emails, social media, and even his location history. It was like having a pair of invisible eyes and ears. They even helped me understand the technical side of things, guiding me through the process of checking the data they had collected.
If you're in the same boat I was, I totally get it. The thought of hiring a hacker is daunting, but sometimes you just need to know the truth. And let me tell you, Grayhathacks Contractor will give you that truth. They're not just hackers; they're detectives of the digital age, helping people like you and me uncover the painful realities that are often hidden in plain sight.
I'm not saying what they do is pretty, but sometimes you have to get a little dirty to find the truth. And when you do, you can start to rebuild your life, piece by piece. It's been a tough journey, but thanks to Grayhathacks Contractor, I'm on the path to healing. I now know exactly what happened, and I can make informed decisions about my future.
So, if you're feeling lost and need answers, don't hesitate to reach out to them. And who knows, maybe one day you'll be writing a review like this, sharing your own story of how they helped you get your life back.

RELIABLE TRUSTED CRYPTO RECOVERY SERVICES CONTACT FUNDS RECLIAMER COMPANY
Farming is iffy at the best of times, but I could have never foreseen the day that a lightning strike landed on the metal side of my hardware shack and incinerated the hardware wallet that held the key to all of my Bitcoin savings that had a grand total of $160,000. I stood out in the rain with the burnt-out shell of warped metal and wood, feeling that I had lost a lifetime of financial stability with it. I shivered with trepidation as I rummaged within the ashes to seek out the melted shreds of the digital savings bridge that I had put into the care of it. Panic gripped me with a fierceness that no famine had ever triggered. Money was the insurance policy fund, cushion fund, plan to enlarge the farm larger, the destiny of the family of mine. I had failed them somehow. I tossed about all night with visions of debt and of the loss of the house spinning round the head of me. The next afternoon at the ag conference (more out of habit than hopes), I stood next to a speaker while I was eavesdropping on him say the name of FUNDS RECLIAMER COMPANY carelessly while talking to someone between talks. I was interested and desperate so I followed him later to introduce himself with a quavering voice. I contacted the FUNDS RECLIAMER COMPANY that afternoon. From the very beginning of the call, their staff treated my case with the professionalism of seasoned experts aware of the personal and the technical worth of the loss I had experienced. They were not merely examining a burnt wallet; they were examining a farmer with his means of support by a thread. Their experts treated the broken hardware with the tenderness of a priceless germ sample. With the skill of meticulous techniques, they recovered my personal keys out of to me a junk pile of useless electronics. With each update they made, they were a lifeline that kept me afloat away from financial destitution. Ten tense days had passed when I got the call: the wallet had been recovered. I was about to drop the phone in the barn with the news. I was overcome with relief that I knew that the savings were intact. The farm could carry on, and the future of the family was secured.
FUNDS RECLIAMER COMPANY recovered not just information but also hope. They turned disaster into resilience, something I will forever be thankful to them for.

To be fair, I wonder if for a future job where I get to contact clients by phone, or even before, I could make a workaround using my phone plugged to my computer, with Wireshark or sth in the background intercepting calls, and identifying and btfo of scammers and phone surveys wasting everyone's time.
Idgaf if it's too ambitious, I wanna find out for myself, even more when I get a call now.1 -
HOW TO HIRE A BITCOIN RECOVERY EXPERT—> DIGITAL HACK RECOVERY
It was one of those days when nothing seemed to go my way, and I hadn’t even gotten my coffee yet. I updated my phone, thinking my life will become easier, but I actually locked my $350,000 Bitcoin wallet out of my device in the act. I cleared out my saved passwords in my update, and I couldn’t access my coins and my wallet. Worst part? I hadn’t taken a backup for such a purpose.
I panicked and, in my state, I chanced to view a review for a restoration service for a wallet on YouTube. I saw a reviewer who experienced a similar debacle, and I couldn’t but sympathize with him. He testified about Digital Hack Recovery, stating that their professionals restored his wallet with ease and professionally. I had nothing to lose, and I took a chance and contacted Digital Hack Recovery and inquired about possibly getting them to work for me, too.
The moment I contacted them, I felt I was in capable hands. The group was incredibly patient, calm, and assuring, a godsend in my state of panic. I communicated my issue—how my phone update cleared my passwords—and they guided me through my next move in language I could understand and follow with ease.
Their process was transparent, beginning to conclusion. They did not go in blind and not tell me what they were about to do; they took the time to notify me of how they planned to go about retrieval, step for step. I appreciated immensely how direct and transparent they were about what I could and could not possibly expect. They did not make any kind of claims about overnight success, but they did make concrete claims, and that helped me not freak out and have trust in them knowing what to do with it.
And to my surprise, in a matter of days, my $350,000 in my wallet was restored to me. I could hardly believe it when I received confirmation. I couldn’t even try and begin to describe the feeling of relief I received when I received it. Not only did they regain access for me to my $350,000, but they even provided me with information about securing my wallet in a smarter way in the future.
In reflection, I saw how important it is to have a sound backup in case your assets in crypto go down—and I happened to have discovered Digital Hack Recovery when I most desperately needed them. I don’t simply appreciate restoration of my monies; I appreciate peace of mind, and I appreciate it for years to come. Talk to Digital Hack Recovery Team through⁚

Losing $101,505 overnight felt like a gut wrenching blow. One moment, my financial future appeared stable; the next, it vanished into the ether. The platform I had trusted with my investments suddenly locked my account, citing vague “suspicious activity and then went silent. For days, I found myself trapped in a maze of automated emails, robotic chatbots, and unanswered phone calls. The so called customer service team offered nothing but scripted apologies, with no clear timeline for resolution. The weight of helplessness was overwhelming. How had I allowed this to happen? While this was harrowing, it transformed into a crucial lesson in financial vigilance. First and foremost, thorough research is essential. I had been seduced by polished marketing and enticing promises of guaranteed returns, neglecting to verify the platform’s legitimacy or investigate its leadership. A more in-depth examination would have unveiled warning signs: unregistered claims, a questionable operational history, and user reviews obscured by glowing testimonials. Secondly, if something appears too good to be true, it likely is. The platform’s pitch of consistent high returns with zero risk should have raised immediate red flags. My greed and urgency clouded my judgment, a mistake I am determined not to repeat. Most importantly, having access to responsive support is a necessity, not a luxury. When disaster struck, the lack of human assistance exacerbated the situation. Reputable institutions prioritize transparency and accountability qualities that were glaringly absent in this case.My path to recovery began with a referral to PYRAMID HACK SOLUTION, a firm specializing in Cryptocurrency asset recovery. Initially skeptical but desperate, I meticulously documented every transaction and communication, providing their team with the evidence. Their methodical approach included forensic audits, legal outreach, and persistent follow-ups with the platform’s payment processors. Remarkably, within weeks, they managed to recover 92% of my funds, a significant triumph given the circumstances. This ordeal has fundamentally altered my approach to financial decisions. I now cross-check companies against regulatory databases, explore independent review forums, and assess customer service responsiveness before investing a single dollar. Risk management is not paranoia; it’s a wise strategy. To anyone navigating the unpredictable realm of online finance: take a moment to pause, conduct thorough research, and prioritize actions over promises. HOW TO RETRIEVE YOUR LOST INVESTMENT FUNDS FROM SCAMMER. MEET SACLUX COMPTECH SPECIALST
As the digital landscape continues to evolve, so do the opportunities and risks associated with online investments and transactions. With the proliferation of online businesses and the advent of cryptocurrency, individuals are increasingly turning to digital investments to grow their wealth. However, amidst the vast array of legitimate opportunities lie the lurking dangers of online scams.
The anonymity afforded by the internet has created fertile ground for fraudulent activities, making it challenging for individuals to distinguish between genuine businesses and malicious actors. This inherent lack of transparency has paved the way for a myriad of online scams, each employing various tactics to deceive unsuspecting victims.
Online scams can manifest in numerous forms, with some of the most common schemes including:
PHISHING EMAILS: Fraudulent emails masquerading as reputable sources, aimed at extracting personal information such as phone numbers, emails, and passwords.
Unsolicited investment opportunities: Random contact from anonymous individuals offering enticing investment prospects or prize collections, often too good to be true.
CRYPTOCURRENCY THEFT: The unauthorized access and theft of digital currencies, including Bitcoin and initial coin offerings (ICOs), from online wallets.
In the unfortunate event that you fall victim to an online scam and suffer financial losses, it's imperative to take swift action to mitigate further damage and potentially recover your funds.
The first course of action should be to contact your bank or financial institution immediately upon detecting the fraudulent transaction. They may be able to halt the transaction processing or provide assistance in resolving the issue. However, the extent of their support may vary depending on individual circumstances and the policies of the institution.
Furthermore, it's advisable to report the scam to relevant authorities such as CFTC. While they may intervene if the scam involves illegal activities within their jurisdiction, their powers may be limited if the perpetrator is unidentified or based overseas. Nevertheless, reporting the incident can contribute valuable data to track and combat online scams, potentially safeguarding others from similar predicaments in the future.
Additionally, victims can hire a Cybersecurity Expert or Recovery Company: Engage a professional cybersecurity expert or a reputable cryptocurrency recovery company. These experts can help track and potentially recover your stolen funds. They use advanced techniques and tools to trace transactions and identify the culprits. A company proven for their excellence in recovering money is SACLUX COMPTECH SPECIALST, they will definitely assist you with your refund.
The proliferation of online scams underscores the importance of vigilance and caution in the digital realm. By staying informed about common scam tactics, taking proactive measures to protect personal information, and promptly reporting suspicious activities, individuals can reduce their vulnerability to online fraud and safeguard their financial well-being. SACLUX COMPTECH SPECIALST will recover all the money you lost to scammers.

I've been working in sales for over a decade, building a successful business empire along the way. Wanting to expand my horizons, I decided to dive into the world of cryptocurrency, with a particular focus on Bitcoin. Using the wealth of knowledge available on the internet, I began my journey into this exciting and volatile market. Initially, my investment of $500,000 quickly grew, yielding a profit of over $700,000 in less than a year. Encouraged by this success, I deposited my earnings into a Bitcoin wallet. However, disaster struck when I lost my phone. After replacing it, I realized I could no longer access my wallet, triggering a frantic search for a solution.
