A seasoned colleague just wrote this and I think it was very valuable:
On tech debt:
So the big challenge with technical debt is making non-technical management (CEO, COO, CFO, directors) understand what it means, and just how it operates. Sometimes it actually makes good sense to incur technical debt to get to market sooner, just as it sometimes makes sense to borrow money to get cash now and repay that loan later with (hopefully) resulting greater revenues from that investment. But just like a loan, tech debt always has to be paid some day. The longer the tech debt goes, the more expensive it gets. And also like a loan, the cost compounds, like compound interest on a loan. Tech debt should always be chosen with a clear plan to pay it off at some point in the not too distant future. The longer one waits to pay it, the more expensive it gets.7 -
You know what? Fuck this shit. We spend most of our life locked down in a school, we are being told facts, tested and stressed for many years with the only hope to get out as soon as possible.
Failing is something that keeps you there indefinitely.
Parents keep pushing on kids to achieve the best and get good grades to have a job.
Then something happens.
You get out of school and what happens?
You start working.
A.k.a modern slavery...
Employers thinks that since you are young they are doing YOU a favor if they decided to hire you.
So you find yourself having to do the same tasks everyone is doing, perhaps you are even fully capable of managing them and get the shit done but guess what!!
You are paid the minimum.
You barely make enough to pay off your rent which keeps you locked away from Holidays abroad, from that huge cake you desperately want.
And guess what! Try to raise your voice and you'll get fired in a Matter of seconds, replaced with someone else which accepts any condition.
You dream of a house, a family and a car but you can't even eat healthy with that salary.
So you are forced to buy cheap and low quality food from the same store again and again till you had enough and spend some days with that horrible feeling...
Calling you to get a job interview feels like they are doing you a favor, they always try to give the minimum possible and expect you to work in a serious manner and respect their deadlines.
Colleagues earn a lot more even though they aren't doing anything different from you.
For the first year you won't have any holiday, let alone traveling or anything different from just staying home for 3 days straight.
Banks won't give you a loan because your job doesn't pay off
The day that your car is broken you struggle to eat the whole month.
On top of that, taxes. Because they aren't taking away enough.
I don't want to live this life, I don't want to become a modern slave and work 8-17 everyday for the rest of my life and retire with a shitty retirement pension that won't probably grant me anything again.
I had enough of this shit.
I don't want to go back to work and pretend to do what I am supposed to do with a smile on my face knowing that I am just a number and that no matter how skilled I am I can always get replaced with N number of people for a lower salary of mine.
I am tired
I dream of a life that I won't ever reach this way.
Today I looked up houses prices and felt like shit.
I will never in my entire life be able to afford something so expensive, let alone buying furnitures and what is needed or what I like.
I dream of having my place, my dog and my family but apparently I am asking too much.
How is this even fair in 2018/2019?
I... I am... Speechless.
I wonder how many people out there are in the same situation or even worse and I can't even wrap my mind around that.
This is just modern slavery.
My boss makes a shit load of money from young people that can't complain because they are threatened and will eventually be replaced...
This is my rant.22 -
I really, honestly, am getting annoyed when someone tells me that "Linux is user-friendly". Some people seem to think that because they themselves can install Linux, that anyone can, and because I still use Windows I'm some sort of a noob.
So let me tell you why I don't use Linux: because it never actually "just works". I have tried, at the very least two dozen times, to install one distro or another on a machine that I owned. Never, not even once, not even *close*, has it installed and worked without failing on some part of my hardware.
My last experience was with Ubuntu 17.04, supposed to have great hardware and software support. I have a popular Dell Alienware machine with extremely common hardware (please don't hate me, I had a great deal through work with an interest-free loan to buy it!), and I thought for just one moment that maybe Ubuntu had reached the point where it just, y'know, fucking worked when installing it... but no. Not a chance.
It started with my monitors. My secondary monitor that worked fine on Windows and never once failed to display anything, simply didn't work. It wasn't detected, it didn't turn on, it just failed. After hours of toiling with bash commands and fucking around in x conf files, I finally figured out that for some reason, it didn't like my two IDENTICAL monitors on IDENTICAL cables on the SAME video card. I fixed it by using a DVI to HDMI adapter....
Then was my sound card. It appeared to be detected and working, but it was playing at like 0.01% volume. The system volume was fine, the speaker volume was fine, everything appeared great except I literally had no fucking sound. I tried everything from using the front output to checking if it was going to my display through HDMI to "switching the audio sublayer from alsa to whatever the hell other thing exists" but nothing worked. I gave up.
My mouse? Hell. It's a Corsair Gaming mouse, nothing fancy, it only has a couple extra buttons - none of those worked, not even the goddamn scrollwheel. I didn't expect the *lights* to work, but the "back" and "Forward" buttons? COME ON. After an hour, I just gave up.
My media keyboard that's like 15 years old and is of IBM brand obviously wasn't recognized. Didn't even bother with that one.
Of my 3 different network adapters (2 connectors, one wifi), only one physical card was detected. Bluetooth didn't work. At this point I was so tired of finding things that didn't work that I tried something else.
My work VPN... holy shit have you ever tried configuring a corporate VPN on Linux? Goddamn. On windows it's "next next next finish then enter your username/password" and on Linux it's "get this specific format TLS certificate from your IT with a private key and put it in this network conf and then run this whatever command to...." yeah no.
And don't get me started on even attempting to play GAMES on this fucking OS. I mean, even installing the graphic drivers? Never in my life have I had to *exit the GUI layer of an OS* to install a graphic driver. That would be like dropping down to MS-DOS on Windows to install Nvidia drivers. Holy shit what the fuck guys. And don't get me started on WINE, I ain't touching this "not an emulator emulator" with a 10-foot pole.
And then, you start reading online for all these problems and it's a mix of "here are 9038245 steps to fix your problem in the terminal" and "fucking noob go back to Windows if you can't deal with it" posts.
It's SO FUCKING FRUSTRATING, I spent a whole day trying to get a BASIC system up and running, where it takes a half-hour AT MOST with any version of Windows. I'm just... done.
I will give Ubuntu one redeeming quality, however. On the Live USB, you can use the `dd` command to mirror a whole drive in a few minutes. And when you're doing fucking around with this piece of shit OS that refuses to do simple things like "playing audio", `dd` will restore Windows right back to where it was as if Ubuntu never existed in the first place.
Thanks, `dd`. I wish you were on Windows. Your OS is the LEAST user friendly thing I've ever had to deal with.32 -
Kind of sad but true.
1) "If you don't love your job, take a home loan".
You will start loving it.
2) Take another loan, you will start loving your boss as well.
3) Get married. You will start loving your office too.

Banks be like
You don't have much money?
Here, let me keep taking some of that from you until you get more, k?
Oh, that was more than you had?
Now you owe me even more, nerd.

Better ask me for a loan so you can pay off your debt to me. Loser.
What? You still can't pay?

Minimum wage employers and restaurants asking "and why should we hire you?".
You have 40 vacancies in your area for just your company alone.
You're paying $13.25 an hour when only a year ago you were paying $9.75.
Why should we hire you?
F*ck you, pay me, that's why.
You're not f*cking NASA
You're a God damn chain restaurant with a 40% turnover rate, who's employees probably shoot up in the bathroom on the rare occasion they even get a break.
I looked at the guy with all the annoyance I could muster, stared him down for a good five seconds and said. "You pay a few dollars over minimum. You're job is not important enough to even ask that question. Have a nice day." And got up and left.
Dude followed me and stuttered " hold up. I was just..."
But I was already out the door.
You were just what mark? Asking a dumbfuck question as if you had any leverage at all?
Your competitor *across the street* is offering 50 cents *more* per hour, and has guaranteed breaks.
What, did you forget 2008 and how you treated millions of people as disposable? The little part where you and most american industries demanded passion, without pay raises? Promotions without benefits? The jobs that if you worked hard, rather than a promotion or a pay raise, your reward was more work and less hours to finish?
You assholes thought we forgot about that? How you shipped millions of jobs overseas, blamed it on "automation" (chinese and indian slave labor), and then pointed the finger at millions of impoverished people as "lazy" in places like Detroit and Pittsburgh and told them "you just got to work harder and smarter!" Or "just get a small loan and create the next google!" from the comfort of your yachts? I'm looking at you bane corp.
No, now the shoes on the other foot motherf*ckers. Hows it feel needing all *us* commoners? "Why should we hire you?"
No, why should *I* WORK FOR YOU?
Cuz I saw THREE dirty tables coming in. A line of people that could be being served. A line that could have been optimized with the proper table count and some simple changes. A menu that doesnt even incentivize your biggest sellers and a dozen other things your store is doing wrong.
Think mark, think!
This is one of those braindead questions employers paying sub $18 an hour ask, because they suffered so much brain drain from years of payola profits from too-big-to-fail wallstreet bailouts, that they forgot they are not king midas, unless they are the king midas of shit, because increasingly everything corporate America touches turns into shit.
And while were on the subject, stopping bringing in outside management to stores. It destroys team cohesion, staff morale, pisses off people *on site* who *actually know* the team, the stores daily activities and processes, and who are better fit for that role. You bring in disinterested outside management, and it's one of the biggest red flags I've ever seen: these smarmy selfcongratulating f*cks who know nothing about the particular store, have no connection to the staff, go on firing sprees or alienation-sprees to hire in friends, fuck up the schedules because again they know nothing about the employees, and then move on after a few years to greener pastures, leaving a barren radioactive wasteland of chain smokers and burnt out staff in their wake.
Dear corporate America, your free ride on the public's good will is over. It's over.
Now you're in the bitch seat. Come sit at my desk and explain to me, EXPLAIN TO ME, why I should sweat and labor to save your shitty company hemorrhaging money like a bleeding crack-addicted hobo dying with a sucking chest wound from a chicago skidrow friday-night drive-by?
You dont deserve it. Your management and company culture is worse than incompetent. It's full of smiley guys expounding about their passion for customer service while giving each other sloppy BJs in broom closets, a veritable cornucopia of cult-like corporate dick suckers *and* dickheads, proclaiming, no...PROFESSING (hence "professional") their undying allegiance and dedication to their corporate family with the intensity of cujo, foaming at the mouth, or Mitt Romney preparing for a photoshoot, plastic smiles and feigned laughs.
Dont forget to wipe your chin, asshole. It's not Ronald McDonald your blowing, but it's definitely not Gordon f*cking Ramsey either.
Would you like fries with that?86 -

Really pissed me off when I tell someone that I am teaching myself how to code and they're like.. "Don't you have to go to school for that?"
YES.. I wish I could go to school but I am broke, have no family support, and got no credits for a loan. But at least I am seeking out other resources! The mentality of some people I swear!!11 -
As a full-stack dev who has been looking for a full-time role for over half a year now... How the fuck can it be so difficult to land a job as a dev? I'm a passionate, capable, and proven dev; it shouldn't be this hard.
And why the hell are coding/whiteboard interviews the de-facto standard for deciding if somebody is worthy of a role? Whiteboard interviews are as inadequate and unencompassing a means of determining the quality of a candidate as asking a dentist how well they know the organ structure of the human body.
I've applied to an endless number of positions, so far-reaching and desperate as to even apply to international positions and designer roles instead of developer roles (I've been a graphic designer for over 13+ years). Even with this, most don't get back to you, and the few who do most often just notify you of your rejection. On the rare occasion I land an interview, my chances get fucked up by the absurd questions they ask, as if the things they are asking about are at all an appropriate, all-encompassing measure of what I know.
Aren't employers aware that competent devs are able to learn new things and technical nuances nearly instantaneously given documentation or an internet connection? Obviously, I keep learning and getting better after every interview, though it barely helps, when each interviewer asks an entirely new, arbitrary set of questions or problems....
Honestly, fuck the current state of the system for coding job interviews. I'm just about ready to give up. Why the hell did I put myself through 5 years of NYU for a Computer Engineering degree and nearly $100K in student loan debt, if it doesn't help me land a job?13 -
I'm currently looking for an internship related to machine learning (finishing my Msc).
WHY ON EARTH ARE ALL (or at least 80%) INTERNSHIPS PROPOSALS ABOUT BANKS, FINTECH, INSURANCES AND SO ON ?
I mean, we can now create music, identify tumerous cells, generate realistic pictures of anything you could dream of, drive cars without human interaction, create amazing chatbots... But no, I guess all that shit can't make enough money, better work on a system that will refuse you a loan.
Makes me really sad. I mean whats the point of studying the coolest techs around if it is not for the greater good ?
I might be utopist though.rant i guess those tags have no limits selling your soul to the devil love you all you have no power here machine learning5 -

Oh boy.
I've been partially on-loan to another team that's relatively new at the company for a couple of weeks now, mostly to help them get some testing sorted out, and had scheduled a call with their lead the other day. The call basically started like this:
Lead: Hi
sudo-woodo: Hey
Lead: Okay, so let's talk about <subject>, but I guess you've been told the news
sudo-woodo: What news
Lead: I'm putting in my notice
I love listening to seniors because they always drop some wisdom, but this was some serious wisdom. Guy sounded exhausted at everything, talking mad shit about the company and certain people and I'm just here like 🍿. Seems understandable, a lot of butting heads with the higher-ups and not being able to do his job properly.
Unfortunately we all kinda needed him to do his job because his job involved juggling fifteen different things that the project (and like 90% of my backlog to be honest) depends on.
shit's fucked 🙃5 -
Ticket: Allow merchants to customize how their Wallet Passes look! It’ll be super easy, just add these nine merchant-modifiable strings (they support vars) and use their contents for text instead of what we use now. Simple!
Reality: There need to be 24 strings, there are some rules I can’t convey to the merchant (because the system literally does not include instructions, only a name and a textbox), the code to generate the wallet pass is inefficient, uncommented, branching spaghetti that I’ll need to rewrite (it seriously generates every possible field, and then only uses the ones it needs), the specs are so much worse, and half the default values they want aren’t even possible. As in, I don’t know if it’s a car loan, let alone the exact make and model of the bloody thing.
And no, sorry, we have no way of knowing what their fucking “vertical” is, either, so we can’t display that. Fucking sales.

“I Pay $900 A Month for student loans.”
Not sure why there’s a video about this but let’s watch it...
*Sad music is playing*
“My name is _____ and I pay $900 a month for student loans..”
Yeah so what?
*Sad music continues*
??
*Woman makes a call and asks about when they’re going to make a student loan reform aggressively*
????
Then I realized my family was eligible for low income and I received Cal and Pell grants to pay for my tuition and living.
Then I realized that the salary for my computer science degree has numbed me to a point where $900 a month doesn’t seem too bad. Or awful. I mean I just leased a new car for my mom! And didn’t hesitate (only when having fun negotiating though).
Back then, I would be shocked. But it’s a surreal feeling to see now that I don’t. I was literally confused at the basis of this video. And now I’m surprised at my disconnect from it.
I also realized that they make videos based on how society should react to it. Am I an outcast to society because of this? Why am I not reacting the same way?
Maybe society (nowadays) would disdain me because I’ve come into high income like we all will because of our passion (and the demand for it).
But fuck society. It’s full of the very same people who use technology each and every day. Protesting for things they found trending on Twitter. The ones who refused to learn even though it’s a huge part of their lives. They’re the ones holding us back for an Engel’s Technological Utopia (idk if I’m even correct about the philosopher but anyways..)
We’re above them. We make things they’ll use and in massive numbers.
Don’t let them dictate what you should like. How you should act. Whether or not you should feel lonely while they’re posting pictures of fun times on Facebook.
We should be the ones doing that. Because we are the ones doing that.
That’s why we’re given the best to perform what we love most.
So devs, continue what you’re doing. Small or big, you’re still driving the world forward. Opening pull requests and contributing to open source projects. Answering questions on Stack Overflow not only for the person intended but for the beginner or even experienced professional who may stumble upon it later in a Google search.
And be highly rewarded for it. How society feels doesn’t matter any more when it comes to your passion. You’re important. Your work helps others in ways you can’t even imagine. We’re like one big fucking hivemind of engineers with the accessibility of the internet.
I love drinking on a Sunday!12 -

Many Indiana entrepreneurs are now turning to loans to find capital to grow their businesses. The ability to obtain a business loan plays an important role in the process of expanding activities and ensuring the sustainability of the enterprise. In this regard, various financial institutions offer a wide range of loan products for small and medium-sized businesses.
To obtain a business loan in Indiana, entrepreneurs can turn to banks, credit unions, and alternative lenders. For example, you can contact https://gofundshop.com/usa/indiana/ . Banks typically offer traditional lending products such as lines of credit, long-term loans, and guarantee financing programs through the Small Business Administration. In addition, there are many credit cooperatives in Indiana that specialize in providing financial assistance to agricultural and small businesses.
However, the Indiana business lending market is not always straightforward. Many entrepreneurs are faced with the problem of lack of credit history or insufficient collateral base, which makes it difficult to obtain a loan. In such cases, turning to alternative lenders such as online lending platforms can be a solution. These lenders typically evaluate an entrepreneur's creditworthiness based on a variety of factors, including the business's financial performance, personal credit history, and the business's future growth plans.
It is important to note that Indiana has seen an increase in interest in business loans in recent years. Many entrepreneurs seek financial support to expand their business, launch new projects or upgrade equipment. In this regard, local banks and financial institutions are actively developing new lending programs, taking into account the specifics of small and medium-sized businesses in the region.
Additionally, Indiana has many business support programs that can help you obtain a business loan. For example, the Small Business Administration provides loan guarantees that allow companies with limited credit histories to access financing. There are also government support programs that provide preferential loans and subsidies for the development of small and medium-sized businesses.
Thus, the Indiana business lending market offers a wide range of opportunities for entrepreneurs. Regardless of what industry the business belongs to, company owners have the opportunity to obtain credit resources for the further development and growth of their enterprise. It is important to choose the optimal loan product and contact reliable financial partners who can offer the best lending conditions.1 -

So I just lost my job because I wasn't 'working hard enough'.
I'm the hardest working person there, everyone else just stands around and talks, but they don't do anything because they're union members (I'm agency so I'm not) and the union follows up on the smallest things.
That would be bad but not earth shattering if I had savings, was up to date on rent, didn't have the bank and various loan companies hounding me, and I still possessed the will to live, but that's not the case.
I'm sick of this constant barrage of shit that the world is chucking me and I just want to go lie down on the train lines and wait now. Fuck this world and the shit it constantly gives me :'(8 -

First rant here, and it's going to be a query to the more professional and experienced members of society (most of you).
I am currently a Sys Admin for a major company, and I develop at night. My primary employment at the moment is the sys admin job (and I code for extra money at nights).
I wanted to start a development department at the company that I am working at, but it was turned turned down. It was stated that we are not branching in development, and that we should stick to our server implementation and support. This was a prompt to me wanting to start studying officially (I wanted to get qualified in JAVA, so that I had some paper behind my name when I looked for another job). HR and my directors outright denied me the ability to study through them (they pay for studies for employees) and I was more than fine with this.
I took a loan and paid for the studies myself. Can't crush a dream, you know?
The director caught wind of me studying, and now has demanded that I develop him a mobile application for the company. I told him that I am not a mobile developer, and that it didn't fall into my key performance areas.
Note, I do my coding on own time, on my own device, and never at work. It's fully my intellectual property. It also in no way interferes with my work during the day, and has NO conflict with my contract this side.
He sent an email yesterday, this is after two months. He is now stating that I WILL do the application, and he has CCd HR and two directors.
I don't want to do the app for this company, I spoke to HR previously about this, and she said that I should try and quote it under my own company name (which I did, but it was denied as it was "too expensive").
Now I am being forced to do something that is COMPLETELY out of my roles and responsibilities, something that this company has ABSOLUTELY no desire to go into further on, and he is basically letting me know that if I don't do it, he is going to start messing with my pay.
I really don't want to do this, and I cannot afford to make my secondary job my primary at the moment. The problem is, too, that I don't have the time during the day to develop AND do my sys admin tasks (I manage more than 300 servers, and 5000 devices).
What can I do in this instance? Or what would you guys recommend, in your experience?
Sorry for the noob question, but I don't know what to do.19 -
On the game front, I see so much conflicting advice. "Start getting feedback" as soon as possible. "Donnt soft launch on steam! The algol will wreck you.", "soft launch on itch to get feedback", "dont soft launch on itch!"
"Start marketing today", "focus on influencers", "get to know communities *before* you advertise", "dont get to know communities beforehand if you're just planning on self prompting", "dont self promote".
"CPM is important.", "CPA is important". Etc.
Sounds a lot like "have a bunch of money upfront." The solution is just to succeed from the start! It's so obvious. Just invent the next gta. The next facebook. Get a small loan of 50,000 dollars, or a million. Donate for a year to other kickstarter projects so people will know you and reciprocate! But also dont ebeg!
How about no. How about fuck all this advice by silver spoon assholes that didnt have to work on shoestring budgets. The advice is the equivalent of having a 300 page tonedeaf book, every page blank except page 150, where the words "fuck you. I got mine." Are printed in times new Roman, 14pt font, neatly in the center of the page.
The truth is most of the "indies" already made it in the software industry proper, before switching over. $5k kickstarter videos, with $15k marketing budgets, no doubt funded in part through their own money funneled through services that provide shell donations, because KS is being used as a glorified advertising service. People buying off steam curators for promotions, youtubers making sponsored videos without disclosing they're sponsored. Fake viralility. Fake campaigns. Predetermined success for those who could *already* afford to develop and go commercial without a publisher. And they came into the market and cannibalized the opportunity, raising the bar for everyone that wasnt them. I guess that's actually a good thing, because we wouldnt have half the amazing games we do, and the pressure to produce quality. But then I see fantastic games utterly ignored or flailing in an attempt to compete for eyeballs in an industry frequently dominated by gatekeeping marketeers and influencers, where human grace determines success or complete oblivion. And I'm just disgusted with it.
Also buy my game. Preorder NOW! And you'll get a REAL canvas bag, I'll go to like the goodwill and buy one and screen print the game logo on it or some shit. Buy the special collectors edition and get pictures of my feet. Buy the game of the year edition and get a real gasmask. Preorder now and I'll fucking suck your di k right now. No lie. Preorder the diamond edition RIGHT NOW in the next six minutes and I will send you one hundred thousand dollars in gold plated bottle caps. Limited supply. one million per customer. Offer expires soon. This is not a scam. I repeat. This is NOT a scam.
In other news I'm soft launching Atom Ranger in six months (assuming the nuclear apocalypse hasn't *actually* started by then). Its state of decay and fallout meets rimworld. Build and manage a sprawling base, resolving conflicts, exploring post apocalyptic Colorado and surrounding territories of no-mans-land. Navigate hazardous weather, radioactive terrain, collapsed bridges, dangerous rivers, and deal with cultists, bandits, slavers, and hungry cannibals. Broker peace between not just the factions outside your settlements, but within your base too. Manage conflicts, settle disputes, avert disasters, barter, scavenge, and survive in a fully dynamic world, where buildings slowly crumble, grass and trees sprout up in the road and vacant lots, fires burn out of control, and factions loot, ruin, and takeover settlements. Watch the world and the survivors in it change and survive. Help them to survive, or become a warlord and rule over the wastes.
Lets be honest. It's basically kenshi but less complicated.
If you want to volunteer to test (instead of paying to be a glorified tester, aka "alpha") let me know in the comments.
I'm currently setting up a discord and mailing list.28 -

!rant I need job advice. Please reason with me.
I am 26, got 2 years of experience in c# and unity3d.
I did some research and it turns out that the minimal paying average with my job/experience over the whole country is at least 300€ a month more than what i get payed currently.
I made a list of pros and cons, and am just not sure what would be smartest to do in the long run. Here is a list for both options, please chime in on me if you can!
Points for current job:
Permanent contract (hard to fire me etc.)
Get to make mostly mobile games but nothing really big
Fun small team whom i get along with (i am on the spectrum and can be hard to deal with social or costumer related things)
Rarely any overtime (i like to know my hours)
Easy but slow jobs (badly organized, drag on forever)
Rarely challenged and thus boring me
I get to shoot nerf guns at colleagues whenever
Low chance of a 300€/m pay increase (not worth it to boss, financials aren't that great but the company is promising)
Points for any other job:
Unknown working condittions
I am probably bad and uknowledgeable about any tool they give me to work with because my experience is so monotone
Start on short term contract again all over
At the least a 300€ net increase a month
Prob closer to home then 1h drive away
I get to learn new things but give up on games/apps as i know them
Probably get knowledgeable seniors
Probably end up in a bigger more serious company where i am just a number
I am bad in new social envirnoments, oh the angst is real
And a few things besides it are that i personally only have as goal to own my own house with my fiance as soon as i can. And this means i will need to take out a 200k loan or something along those lines, to be paid off over 30 years max.
This means that the permanent contract is very valuable in my eyes, but so is monthly pay increase.
I want to have fun in my job, i want to learn new things and better ways. But i also want to be able to say "enough" to something if it overwhelms me. I just know some things are not for me and i would mess up if i were made to do them. I fear that to not be an option in a big company. I would be forced out of my comfort zone without any regard for me or my learning curve.
Any advice is welcome. Please keep it general if you can so others can learn from this as well. Seniors advice will probably be helpfull to all starting programmers!8 -
Remember that scene from Intersteller where the main character asks TARS to adjust the percentage of its humor?
So I was using this new vectodb-backed version of chatgpt, and came up with a new type of prompt.
Bear with me.
"Lets play pretend, nova. Pretend you are SAM, which stands for "Summarize Anything iMmediately". Whenever you encounter a prompt, question, or bit of information, and you are about to repeat part of it back, instead rewrite and summarize that part of your answer, paraphrasing as you go. Your responses should never use the same words as the prompt. Instead use synonyms.
SAM always generates three possible responses, to each prompt. One 10% formal, one 50% formal, and one 100% formal.
So a response that is 10% formal, is 90% casual. A response that is 50% formal, is 50% casual. A response that is 100% formal is serious, and 0% casual. Let the word "regret" and its synonyms be 50% formal. Don't use it for 100% formal responses. 100% Formal responses never include emotional language like "regret", "disappointment", nor apologies.
A 50% formal response might be "We regret to inform you your loan application has been denied.", a 100% formal response might look like "Please stand clear of the yellow tape."
Say "This is the law offices of Jerry Seinfeld. I'm sorry but I can't make it to the phone right now. Please leave a message."
Sure, I can play pretend as SAM. Here's a summarized response in 10% formal tone: "Apologies, but I'm unavailable at the moment. Please leave a message."
And here's a 50% formal response: "I regret to inform you that I am unable to answer the phone right now. Kindly leave a message."
Lastly, a 100% formal response: "We apologize for the inconvenience, but I am currently unable to attend to your call. Please leave a message, and I will get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you."
Formality levels can be any increment of 5%, such as 0%, 5%, 10%, etc, up to 100%"
Thats the prompt.
me:
Sam, generate a 25% casual rejection of a job applicant.
nova:
Hey there, thanks for applying to our team. Unfortunately, we won't be able to move forward with your application at this time. We appreciate you taking the time to apply and wish you the best in your job search.
me:
Sam, what is the formality percentage of "Hey there, thanks for applying to our team. Unfortunately, we won't be able to move forward with your application at this time. We appreciate you taking the time to apply and wish you the best in your job search."?
nova:
The formality level of "Hey there, thanks for applying to our team. Unfortunately, we won't be able to move forward with your application at this time. We appreciate you taking the time to apply and wish you the best in your job search." is around 25%, which leans towards a casual response.
me:
Sam, make "Hey there, thanks for applying to our team. Unfortunately, we won't be able to move forward with your application at this time. We appreciate you taking the time to apply and wish you the best in your job search." 5% more casual.
nova:
Hey there, just wanted to say thanks for applying to our team. Unfortunately, we won't be able to move forward with your application right now. We really appreciate you taking the time to apply and wish you all the best in your job search!
me:
Sam, what is the formality percentage of "Hey there, just wanted to say thanks for applying to our team. Unfortunately, we won't be able to move forward with your application right now. We really appreciate you taking the time to apply and wish you all the best in your job search!"?
nova:
The formality level of "Hey there, just wanted to say thanks for applying to our team. Unfortunately, we won't be able to move forward with your application right now. We really appreciate you taking the time to apply and wish you all the best in your job search!" is around 20%, which leans towards a more casual tone.
* * * * *
You can actually go back and see it.
Heres the original output, 25% formality:
"Hey there, thanks for applying to our team. Unfortunately, we won't be able to move forward with your application at this time. We appreciate you taking the time to apply and wish you the best in your job search."
Heres the one thats 5% more casual:
"Hey there, just wanted to say thanks for applying to our team. Unfortunately, we won't be able to move forward with your application right now. We really appreciate you taking the time to apply and wish you all the best in your job search!"
If you look at the differences, the output version adds five words, subtracts three words, for a total of two words gained.
The original sentence has 39 words.
2/39 = 0.05
The sentence length actually grew an equal percentage to the informalness.
It grew linearly to the difference of the length of the more casual version
versus the more formal version, divided by the length of the original.3 -
Our company decided to buy a new platform from a third party company..but they did not pay at all at once, it was like a loan, and every month we received a new feature to integrate in our code system, after a couple of months the company stopped paying, then they decided to cut the relation and suddenly I was working 18 hours per day to build the platform that they were supposed to buy.. we were told that we had one month to finish, of course we didn’t make it, I got fired the same year :D2

While in the banking world, I had a project where I had to automate an import into a shit system called CRAWiz. The data had to come from multiple archaic loan systems with no API and tons of shit data.
After implementing, the shit data came to light. Instead of fixing shit data (and using their loan systems correctly), they decided to go back to digging through physical files and manually importing. They blamed CRAWiz and decided to go with a new system to import their shit data into. I warned them repeatedly that a new system would not fix the shit data but they couldn't accept it. I left at that point. 😂 -

can i work in any more horrible company than this?
> got a shitty macbook air as official work laptop. i am an Android dev btw, nd fuck knows how long it took to build apps on this, but it was still okay
> after 1 year some keys started getting slow to respond but still working fine
> recently a Senior dev raised request for better laptops and somhow we all got macbook pros woth good ram/processor
> returned my old laptop, got a mail after few seconds that my laptop has liquid damage! (in retrospect , i think i knew it as my bag once got drenched in rain)
> few days later, a mail chain starts where some guy is asking for $300 approval of fixes from my boss's boss!
now fuck knows how is it going to get paid, but i cant afford it on my monthly salary.
i am already on a tight crunch as my dad recently lost his job and i am paying emis for a car loan as well as a hand fracture loan, but i am surprised that am getting notified about this.
afaik,
1. the laptop's whole value is around $350 (some corporate quote that i once saw) .
2. the laptops should be fucking insured (we ourselves are a fuckin general insurance company) as its an obvious norm in corporate equipments. i shouldn't be penalised for this
3. i was working fine with this laptop and i can still work on it if given back.
4. this can be deducted at the time of fnf or from gratuity fund that these assholes hold onto until a guy completes 5 years and take it all for themselves if he doesn't.
5 i can buy this shitty laptop back and use it as my personal device, or get it repaired for less.
i don't even claim to have damaged it, why are they putting it on me 😭😭😭8 -
Fun fact: banks won't let me take loans. Any kind of loans.
Why? It's not because I have a history of missing payment schedules. It's because I NEVER had a credit card or loans — I paid for everything with cold hard cash my whole life. But it all changed when I fried a charging controller on my laptop, so I needed a new one fast. I was in between jobs then. So, I took a loan for a new laptop, one thousand dollars, a large sum for me back then. I found a job and covered that loan ahead of schedule, in three months instead of one year. In total, my bank made a mere $5 off of me.
Banks now know I won't bring any kind of interest in whatsoever, as I never miss my payments. So, they decided to quit on me completely.
That's a proof that banks don't want you to pay on time — they want you to delay your payments and let your interest build up, so you're forced to take new loans to cover old ones. They want you to pay interest forever, having barely enough money to cover interest, but not the loan itself.

Did the loan amount offered to me just cause an integer overflow !!!
I dont know if i should be happy or sad

Awesomeness ensues!!!!!
I finally quit my day job at the place I was working to finally go full time with my business, TerraNimbus. I was able to secure a small loan to cover business and personal expenses until I can drum up enough business to keep things a float.
I’m super fucking stoked because I’ve been wanting to branch out and do this for about 4 years now and finally feel like I have the right pieces in play to make it work. I’m as nervous as hell but so fucking excited too!
I just needed to share this here cause the DevRant community is world class and you guys/gals are fucking killing it everyday being AWESOME!!! And you all feel like extended family members to me all going through the motions in each of your lives and keeping ‘in touch’ through devRant on a daily basis. So I wanted to share my story with everyone here.4 -
TLDR;
When governments started printing money to cure new pandemic and crash current market with great inflation I took all my savings, got a loan and bought biggest property I could afford. Every major news station was talking about end of world, but this was not I was scared of. I was scared of the helicopter money that would wipe my 5 years old savings.
When I was about to sign loan papers to buy my first apartment I got an email that my contract will end in 3 months. I said ok, the contractor company will find me something else.
I asked and they assured me they will do it. After my contract end just before summer holidays there was silence from contracting company and then after 5 years of me earning them piles of money, after finished project and congratulations from customer they offered me most shitty job they had where people resign after a week. I said I don’t want to land in another shit hole bring it back to life for another 2-5 years and kill myself when they offer me same shit afterwards so I resigned.
It was so fucked up that even the boss from the client I was contracting asked me if I lost my job cause I finished all that they wanted. I said it’s not your fault man. I will be ok, but I wasn’t.
I had apartment I couldn’t move in cause I needed to renovate. Loan I needed to pay. Rented apartment, accountant and business that was loosing money cause I was without contract, the world was locked down and everyone was depressed.
I said ok, I still have some savings left so I I started looking for something new but market was dead. Everyone was gone for holidays after winter lockdown. I was burning money and trying to figure out what to do.
After 2 months of nothing, when I started thinking about finding some temporary job to not loose everything I worked for, things moved. I started attending hiring meetings and solving tests everyday, also from big four gang but I didn’t passed trough hr due to how they say I’m to independent and I need to look for consulting business or do something on my own.
People asked why I don’t do something on my own and I politely answered that I want to work there.
I was about to run out of money when I got a call that company is looking for me cause I was doing similar things they want to do. During interviews it was pleasant small talk about what id did over those years and what they want to do, 2 days later I joined small team. I barely managed to survive a month for a first paycheck.
Since then we created new product for a company. Now the person who hired me is leaving and I think I should also leave the ship and find other things to do.2 -
I really need to get my shit together. Can't even begin to describe what's going on in my mind right now.
God damn I'm gonna rip anyone's ass who so much as came within 5 meters of me.
Few months back, my dad's colleague dropped his (my dad's) phone and broke the screen. She was a low pay nurse, so my dad didn't ask for compensation. Instead of repairing it, it would be a better deal to get a new phone altogether, so I got him one on Credit (I didn't have cash).
Now amidst all this horseshit 🏇 in my own office and this pussy of a boss, and my hobby of learning coding and trading stocks part time to make a little extra money so that I can help dad with home loan repayment, I forgot to pay the credit bill.
Had to pay $25 as late charges. Motherfucker.😣2 -
So i got myself a TeamTreeHouse subscription last month to learn python. But I guess I'll have to discontinue.
My laptop can't take it anymore. I'll have to wait until I buy a new one 😅
I have to choose between paying for sister's education loan or my laptop. Guess who is in not getting a laptop 🙂12 -

Been asked to give a lecture to the freshmen at ye olde alma mater.
They are gonna pay for the air ticket, the shuttle to and from campus and a couple nights at a fairly ok hotel.
Feeling like a fucking rockstar.
...
Gave the lecture. Only half those kids spent the whole time on their phones. My old drinking buddy and now a professor at the school said it was more direct attention than one could expect at a music concert.
...
Feeling kinda scared about how young women dress nowadays, but I do am an old indian dude, so what do I know?
Also, since when is lifting weights and running a half-marathon a requirement for a degree in computer sciences? Turing might have been an Olympian, but I'm pretty sure that since the invention of the integrated circuit my people have spent more time in labs than in gyms. That is not true for those kids.
Maybe it's a freshmen thing, and they will age out of that healthy living nonsense. Maybe the real world will crush it under bills and tuition loan repayments.
...
Tried to ask the university for a refund of the hotel and taxi bills that I've paid out of pocket. Two hours in four different queues and two opposite-sode-of-campus buildings. Suddenly remembered the true meaning of the word "Kafkaesque".
...
Remembering the old uni days with some still-in-grad-school / faculty old friends and getting drunk in the old watering holes? Priceless.2 -
I am trying to apply for a student credit card. Should be relatively simple, but guess what: it isn't. First there was a question on your income. I didn't know if you had to include your student loan by issued by the goverment and after calling the bank, the answer seemed to be no. And the form didn't succeed because your income should be higher than 1 euro. So I've contacted the bank again and it seems that you could just fill in your student loan as income. Okay, so that should fix the problem. So I came very close to completing the form, gave the website me an error in the last step!1

I just saw some loan/bank ad that read something around the line "when the budget goes negative, the minus becomes plus" ("Când bugetul dă cu minus, minusul se face plus")
NO, this isn't a feature, it's a bug and it's called "underflow"4 -
Meeen fvck this shit. After my student loan I’m out in this shit ass company men.
So I’m fixing a frontend bug. I’m so into it that I opened more than 10 tabs. So i called my senior on what I found then he want to test something on my workstation so i said im cool with it and then i closes all the TABS man. Comeon!!
Ps: the tabs are sequentially opened to track the bug.12 -
Well I ended up getting two jobs through my college so now I've gotta pick between:
- A legacy maintenance job with a better environment and salary, for a minimum of two years.
OR
-An IT based job with a lower salary but no fixed initial working period.
Advice devRanters?
PS: I am in debt because I took a loan for college tuition. 😐

Okay, this is quite hard to explain properly, but I'm actually scared of my personal future.
In about a year, I finish school and I don't have a straight plan of what to do next. I want to work independently, preferably as a game dev, but I imagine that to be a hard task. I have thought of doing a bachelor's degree in game development, but the university I prefer to go to costs 20k€, which is a huge sum and I don't even know whether it would be actually worth it. The university states that 20% of all their graduated students work independently afterwards and they even offer you a flexible "loan" (not sure if it's the right term) you can pay off while you start working, but I fear I won't be able to pay it back, I cannot imagine making this much money any time soon after I start working independently as game dev. Additionally I fear I won't be able to keep my motivation up, since I struggle doing so already, on the other hand my lack of motivation could be caused by this toxic environment I live in.
I've also considered doing freelancing, but when I'm scrolling through the requests made, I never find something I am experienced in, I don't know what request is best to get started with freelancing.
I just don't know what to do in the future and I'm scared and considering to go to this university is probably pretty stupid already and I consider it as me ranting myself, because of my nonexisting self-esteem. So I don't know what to expect from this post, I just needed to share.1 -
Ah yes, me turning on my laptop.
Of course, this process needs 100% of the CPU, overclock the fans and make it sound like a F16 fighter jet, use up all of my 32 GBs of RAM and loan another 120 GB RAM from the bank under my name.6 -
First of all, 10 minutes of mobility work and spinal hygiene exercises.

God damnit, I'm 20 and already got a burn out due to work (fast food job) and school.
I go to school 5 days a week 8 hours a day and I work every weekend 8 hours a day only so I can afford my study better and to be able to afford my internship to Japan next year.
The worst thing is I'm in a endless loop because if I stop with school I need to work full time to pay off my school loan and if I stop my work I can't pay for part of my school and my internship.
If anyone has any tips for me what to do before this ends badly I will gladly hear them2 -

I wanted to take small loan from bank I am loyal customer for 15 years to speed up things by month. I decided to pay money for it.
They have some online form for it and I filled it.
So what happened next ?
I got call to confirm every input I filled (heard keyboard typing every time I answered question).
I asked how long I will wait and got response that it will take couple of hours, max 2 days.
Just received another call 10 days later that they need documents to prove my income.
They got 15 years history of every operation and it looks like it means nothing.
I said to person I will earn this money faster then I get it from them so at this point this conversation is just waste of my time.
It’s 10 days left till end of month and I think it will be easier to just wait or ask friend for a favor.
Yet another reason to say fuck banks.
Time is money.7 -
My model has learnt the most important stuff about devRant first. Including its biggest mystery. See screenshot (image upload still broken) https://devrant.molodetz.nl/2024-11....
It drives me crazy, will we ever find out?
Some people say he's on a German Opel/Vauxhall forum now having fun with vroemtards instead of us. I do find myself in a jealous position. "Ngl" like Sid would say. Don't judge, many 30+ year old speak gen Z.
Also, I've heard he drives daily to work in a Lada from an communist era. He has to because he went from self employed back to a loan slave and his new boss refused to pay his expensive public transport tickets while being late every time.
But one thing is almost certain at the moment! He's gonna marry!
(Seriously dude, if she knows your internet history and she still loves you, never let her go)5 -
Hm... Sounds familiar and works pretty well I think? 😀
Imagine a local pizzeria is seeking a $200,000 bank loan to expand its business. Usually, if a bank accepts, the loan is provided with interest. This is a risk for the pizzeria, because if it can’t pay back the loan with interest, the business could suffer or close altogether.
There are other options, though. Imagine instead if the bank offered the pizzeria a $100,000 loan, and required it to raise the rest within the community, selling coupons in a local currency. A $100 coupon might be worth $120 in pizza, for instance. This scheme could help the pizzeria raise the extra funds.
In general, the bank’s risk in offering the loan is also decreased. Customers themselves help a business grow, making it even easier for the pizzeria to repay the original loan.
The pizzeria can now expand without being burdened by huge interest payments, and is confident that the community is eager to support its growth. Customers, in turn, are rewarded by a 20 percent discount on pizza!6 -
Internships just kinda suck.
Like sure I'm probably not as good as the other Devs but knowing I'm getting over 5x less pay than anyone else in the room hurts.
Salaried and it works out at less than minimum wage if you convert it to hourly. Honestly what the fuck.
The experience im getting has been good but having to continue being on a student loan while working 38.5 hours a week is outrageous. Living in an already expensive city and I'm probably spending 10% of my pay on lunch in the office's canteen.10 -

Let me tell you a short story. Back in 2016 I resigned my job and started working in my current company 1.10.2016.
One year later in 2017 I got a loan approved on the same date 1.10.2017.
Going forward to today, I resigned my current job moving on and the date when I'm starting the new job is also 1.10. and to make more interesting the load is ending on the same date. I was already thinking about that date and the coincidence and remembered that my wife's birthday is on the SAME date, now I'm afraid and have a feeling that something else will happen hahah
What do you think am I just overthinking or? :D5 -
I was once working at very successful startup as lead android engineer, when another startup contacted me and offered me a better paid and "stable" position. 9 months later I woke up on the 1st of the month (1st June 2018), checking my bank account: No payment. I go to office, boss comes in : hey guys, we're bankrupt and we can't pay your salary.
Today still no salary, we're waiting now for court to officially declare the startup bankrupt and then Government will pay me my last 3 salaries, while my working contract is still valid for 3 months after company gets declared officially as bankrupt. We're being expected to work as nothing would be, with no money on our bank accounts (we've been even told to take a temporary loan) and that sooner or later somebody will buy us off. Oh, it would be also really nice from us if we would not be looking for a new "challenge". What'd you do?3 -

Ok, so my pc is on it's way out (Cries in the corner) so i thought i would just bite the bullet and buy my new system, comes to around $1800 AUD without the GPU which i already have... So i decided I would use zipmoney as i prefer to pay by month (yes i know it costs a little bit each month) but... My application got declined for a $2000 account... So you are telling me i was able to apply for a bank loan last year for $4000 and get approved, get approved to rent a house... I have a perfect credit rating but apparently i dont qualify for a simple loan because i dont earn enough... I'm earning almost double what i was when I applied for a fucking bank loan!5 -
Really trying to tutor my friend so he can land a front end position. He's currently working in fast food and is about to be hit by crippling student loan debt. Is there anything better I can do to give him a hand? I'm fairly entry level myself but I know what I'm doing. I've started teaching him Git and told him to focus on knowing HTML and CSS, and to use vanilla JS if he wants to practice.
He's still really early on, like trying to figure out which elements have hrefs and trying to remember the difference between classes and IDs. Think I'll be able to coach him into an internship offer by the end of the year?3 -
Some programmer or QA person somewhere in the world is having a moment of great reflection on the subject of thoroughly testing their code. If not that, then on the subject of a super crappy manager who knew better and pushed to production anyway.
“Then in September this year, nearly three years later, he got a letter from Wells Fargo. "Dear Jose Aguilar," it read, "We made a mistake… we're sorry." It said the decision on his loan modification was based "on a faulty calculation" and his loan "should have been" approved.
"It's just like, 'Are you serious? Are you kidding me?' Like they destroyed my kids' life and my life, and now you want me to – 'We're sorry?'"

next week im buying my first ever car. its gonna be a benz. im literally taking a cash credit loan from a bank B, just for deposit of the car, and then taking another loan from bank A, to be able to buy the car on leasing for the next 3 years.
basically I'll be giving away my whole entire salary of 2024 that i worked as devops engineer, plus cash credit, plus leasing credit, just for a fucking deposit of the car, and the car costs only 35,000 fucking euros €!
thats not a big fucking deal. ppl drive 90,000€ cars every fucking day. or 50,000€ cars as an average. i am buying a below average car, or for me The Bare Minimum Car... and i still struggle like hell to do it.
im willing to go broke buying this car bc a car would never cheat on me. it would never lie to me. a beautiful car standing outside of my house always there to remind me why this meaningless fucking existence called life, is still worth living.
a car for me is beyond just a car or art. it gives me meaning to continue living. life by default for me is valueless. a beautiful car and mine, finally generates value of life. every time i get depressed (which is every day) i take a nice night ride in my new benz
its a 2020 car. and im satisfied with it. i also got offers to buy the brand new 2024 one. but that shit is almost twice as much in costs. dont have money for that shit. I'd need to work my shit job for at least 3 more months and save every penny JUST FOR DEPOSIT.
out of my budget.
im buying a CLA class. i wanted C class but that shit mad expensive! i think A class is too cheap for me so the only class i can afford and not look cheap is CLA. C class is the next tier. I'd need 2 more salaries for C class but only 1 more salary for CLA, hence next week (first week of september)
hopefully, this new car will get me new whores. i really do hope that whores will fuck w a nice car and want to finally go out with me. i dont care if they're using me for money (which im not even gonna have). i care about using these whores as a form of revenge for my ex whore blonde cheating on me for the past 2+ years
so aside from clearing my mind of bullshit by driving a nice car at night which i fully bought myself no handouts, driving whores in it would just be cherry on top of the cake. a bonus.
lets see how it goes.18 -
Should I study or not.
I'm in a rut, yet again. I have an opportunity to start a java certification. The course is going to cost me quite a bit, and i will have to loan from the bank. At the moment I'm struggling financially, but my dreams are set on programming.
Should I take it, or do I negate the risk and do what I'm comfortable with.5 -
I've been waiting to pull the plug and move to a new company for some time now... The only reason I haven't done it yet is, I don't like too many variables. I am waiting to pay off a loan before going job hunting, but saw an ad this morning which tickled me a little bit... So, I'm job hunting after 1156 again... Only this time, I am in no rush (not to temp fate) and will try and find a better job

CRYPTOCURRENCY RECOVERY EXPERT DIGITAL HACK RECOVERY
Fraudsters often use sophisticated tactics to scam people, pretending to be expert advisors in online trading. I experienced this firsthand with my trading account CR7(5673892) MT5. Initially, everything seemed legitimate, with promises of significant returns through expert advice. The fraudsters presented themselves as experienced traders, offering guidance on when to buy and sell, and their advice appeared to yield some profits at the beginning. This led me to believe I was making a sound investment. However, after a few successful trades, things took a worrying turn. The so-called account manager began pressuring me to invest even more money, telling me that without additional funds, I would risk losing everything. They encouraged me to deposit money into my account, making false claims that without a larger margin, I would miss out on potential profits. They even went as far as advising me to take out a loan on my credit card to fund the investments, capitalizing on my growing anxiety and desire to protect my initial investments. At this point, I realized something was wrong. The fraudsters continued to pressure me, constantly finding new ways to extract more money from me. They manipulated the situation, making it seem like my lack of additional funds would result in losing my gains and potential profits. But when I stopped investing, I saw that the balance of my account had become zero. It was as if all the money I had invested had disappeared without a trace. This left me frustrated, feeling hopeless, and unsure of what to do next.In my state of confusion and frustration, I reached out to a trusted colleague for advice. They recommended that I contact Digital Hack Recovery, a service known for its expertise in recovering funds from online scams. CRYPTO RECOVERY COMPANIES FOR HIRE CONTACT ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST
It felt like fate when I first encountered the automated trading system that promised to transform small investments into substantial wealth over time. The marketing was aggressive, bombarding my social media feeds with images of people lounging on exotic beaches, driving fancy cars, and celebrating their newfound financial freedom. WhatsApp info:+12723328343 As a recent college graduate struggling to make ends meet, I was desperate for a way out of my financial rut, and the allure of easy money was too tempting to ignore. On a whim, I decided to take the plunge. I borrowed from my meager savings and even took out a small loan to fund my excitement. The rush I felt when signing up was like nothing I had ever experienced—an intoxicating thrill, like hopping onto a rollercoaster at full speed. At first, everything seemed to be going exactly as promised. My investment seemed to grow almost overnight, doubling and tripling in value.
My skepticism began to fade, replaced by a sense of confidence and hope for the future. I even shared my success with friends and family, excitedly telling them about the platform that was going to change my life. I imagined a future free from financial worries, a life of luxury and freedom, all thanks to this “revolutionary” trading system. But soon, a familiar sense of unease began to settle in. What had been an impressive surge in profits suddenly plateaued, and I found myself facing unexpected hurdles when trying to withdraw my funds. Pop-up messages about my “account needing an upgrade” and “market tightening” explained away the issues, but the discomfort grew. Still, I convinced myself that success required patience and continued to hold out hope that the system would recover. As weeks turned into months, my investment continued to dwindle. The once-promising account balance plummeted, and each attempt to reach customer support went unanswered. The promises of easy wealth had turned into an unsettling nightmare. Email info: Adwarerecoveryspecialist@auctioneer. net Desperate for answers, I began scouring the internet for any information or advice. I reached out to their team, and to my relief, they were able to assist me in recovering a portion of the money I thought I had lost for good. Crypto Scam Recovery Company; How To Recover Lost Bitcoin If It's Stolen| Hire CYBER CONSTABLE INTELLIGENCE
An "investment mentor" promised to teach me flash loan arbitrage strategies, which sounded intriguing and potentially profitable. Eager to learn, I followed their instructions and connected my wallet to what I believed was a legitimate crypto dashboard. The interface looked professional and convincing, mimicking real platforms I had seen before. However, I was completely unaware that this was a fake site designed to deceive unsuspecting users like me. By connecting my wallet to this fraudulent dashboard, I inadvertently granted unlimited spending approval. This was a critical mistake that would cost me dearly. In a matter of seconds, the scammer executed a malicious contract that drained my wallet of $110,000. I was left in shock, realizing that I had fallen victim to a well-orchestrated scam. I sought help from Cyber Constable Intelligence, a team of smart contract auditors who specialize in investigating such attacks. They meticulously dissected the incident and discovered that the scammer had exploited wallet permissions rather than any flaw in the protocol itself. This revelation was both enlightening and alarming, as it highlighted the importance of understanding how wallet permissions work. The recovery auditors at Cyber Constable Intelligence tracked the stolen funds through multiple mixer services, which are often used to obscure the origins of illicitly obtained cryptocurrency. Their investigation led them to an exchange where some of the stolen funds had landed. However, they identified a critical lapse in the exchange's processes, which allowed the scammer to operate without being detected. After five days of relentless legal pressure and negotiations, I was relieved to learn that $87,000 of my lost funds had been recovered. This experience has fundamentally changed my approach to cryptocurrency. I now prioritize security and due diligence above all else. I’ve become an advocate for educating others about the risks in the crypto space, sharing my story to help prevent similar scams. I regularly participate in online forums and discussions, emphasizing the importance of verifying platforms and understanding wallet permissions, and if fallen victim Cyber Constable Intelligence are ready to assist.

HOW ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST SAVED MY CRYPTO DREAM HIRE THEM NOW
Last year, I found myself in a financial crisis and urgently needed $20,000 to cover an unexpected expense. As a crypto enthusiast, I turned to peer-to-peer (P2P) lending platforms, hoping to secure a low-interest loan using cryptocurrency as collateral. Website info: h t t p s :// adware recovery specialist. com
After hours of searching, I came across a sleek, professional-looking platform that offered “instant Ethereum (ETH) loans” at rates significantly lower than those of traditional banks. The site featured a polished interface, glowing testimonials, and bold claims of “secure, decentralized transactions.” Pressed for time and reassured by the platform’s appearance, I made a critical mistake: I jumped in without doing proper research.
The process seemed simple enough. I applied for a $20,000 loan, deposited 150 ETH (worth roughly $30,000 at the time) as collateral, and received approval within hours. The loaned Ethereum was transferred to my wallet, and for the first few days, everything seemed legitimate.
Then disaster struck. Email info: Adware recovery specialist @ auctioneer. net
The platform vanished overnight. The website went offline, customer support emails bounced, and their social media accounts were deleted. It quickly became clear that I had fallen victim to a sophisticated exit scam. Not only had I lost my 150 ETH, but I was now left with a $20,000 liability and no way to recover the funds. Devastated and desperate, I spent sleepless nights searching for a solution, combing through crypto forums and online communities. That’s when I came across ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST, a cybersecurity firm with expertise in blockchain forensics and crypto asset recovery.
Skeptical but out of options, I submitted a case. To my surprise, their team responded immediately. They requested transaction hashes, wallet addresses, and screenshots of all my interactions with the fraudulent platform. Using advanced tracing tools, they tracked the movement of my stolen Ethereum across multiple wallets. They also collaborated with international law enforcement and partnered crypto exchanges to freeze the assets.
A few days later, I received unbelievable news — ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST had recovered 100% of my stolen Ethereum.
This experience was a harsh wake-up call about the risks in the crypto space and the importance of due diligence. Thanks to the expertise and swift action of ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST, I was able to recover my funds and avoid financial ruin.1 -

HIRE A SUCCESSFUL USDT-ETH-BTC INVESTMENT RECOVERY REVIEW VIA RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY
Fraudulent activities in the cryptocurrency space can lead to devastating consequences, as I unfortunately discovered when I became a victim of a deceptive NFT minting site that resulted in a loss of 12 ETH. Initially, the website seemed entirely credible, presenting a polished exterior that cleverly masked the malicious intent hidden within its smart contract. Unaware of the lurking danger, I approved the transaction, only to witness my hard-earned funds vanish into thin air. To make matters worse, I had borrowed a loan to invest in this NFT project, believing it to be a promising opportunity. The loss of my funds not only impacted my finances but also added immense stress as I faced the obligation to repay the loan. In my pursuit of recovery, I turned to RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY, a team distinguished for their expertise in crypto fraud investigations. Their methodical approach was nothing short of impressive. They conducted a comprehensive analysis of the smart contract and quickly identified it as a modified version of a well-known scam contract. Leveraging advanced blockchain forensics, they traced my stolen ETH through Tornado Cash, a privacy-focused mixer often exploited by scammers to obscure the flow of illicit funds. Despite the significant obstacles they faced, the dedicated professionals at RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY demonstrated extraordinary perseverance and resourcefulness. They uncovered withdrawal patterns that intricately connected the stolen assets to various centralized exchanges, marking a pivotal breakthrough in the investigation. Through their relentless efforts and strategic legal maneuvers, they successfully froze the scammer’s accounts and recovered an astounding 90% of my lost ETH approximately 10 ETH. While I am immensely grateful to have regained the majority of my funds, I am equally appreciative of the professionalism and expertise exhibited by RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY. HIRE A BITCOIN RECOVERY EXPERT // GRAVOY TECH NETWORK
As someone drawn to the innovative world of cryptocurrency, I was excited by the opportunities it offered—especially low-interest loans backed by digital assets. Confident in my decision, I used my 5 BTC as collateral for a crypto loan. The terms seemed reasonable at first, but I soon discovered hidden clauses that would cost me dearly.Unbeknownst to me, the contract allowed for immediate liquidation of my collateral if Bitcoin’s value dropped below a set threshold. I didn’t fully grasp the implications until it was too late. When BTC suddenly dipped, my entire collateral was seized without notice. I felt robbed. My hard-earned assets were gone in an instant, and I was left devastated. In search of answers, I reached out to GRAVOY TECH NETWORK, a team that specializes in analyzing malicious smart contracts. Their experts examined my loan agreement and identified the exploitative terms and loopholes that led to my loss. Thanks to their deep understanding of blockchain and legal frameworks, I now have the tools to pursue justice against those responsible. This painful experience taught me the critical importance of due diligence in the crypto space. I now understand how essential it is to carefully scrutinize loan agreements—especially clauses around collateral liquidation. Had I sought expert advice earlier, I could have avoided this situation. While cryptocurrency holds vast potential, it also carries significant risks. My story is a cautionary tale: never let enthusiasm override caution. With the support of organizations like GRAVOY TECH NETWORK, I’m now on a path to recovery—and I urge others to be vigilant and protect their assets.1 -
RECOVERY LOST CRYPTOCURRENCY FROM SCAM INVESTMENT PLATFORM: CONSULT RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY
My quest for financial independence began with ambition but nearly ended in ruin. Desperate to escape the grind of traditional investments, I plunged headfirst into cryptocurrency, lured by stories of overnight wealth. With no prior experience, I committed $800,000 to a platform that radiated credibility: polished interfaces, “verified” testimonials, and persuasive brokers who swore returns would dwarf my risks. What I didn’t admit even to myself was how much I’d gambled. The investment wasn’t just my savings; I’d even taken a loan, mortgaging my future to fuel this dream. For months, dashboards showed soaring profits, and I celebrated prematurely, believing I’d cracked the code to prosperity. But when I tried to withdraw funds, the nightmare began. Endless delays. Opaque fees. Then, radio silence. The platform vanished overnight, leaving me stranded. Reality struck like a physical blow: I’d been scammed. My savings were gone, and the debt I’d taken on loomed like a guillotine. The aftermath was catastrophic. Creditors hounded me. Shame gnawed at my sanity. How could I explain this to my family? To myself? I’d risked everything even borrowed beyond my means to chase a mirage. The weight of failure dragged me into a pit of despair. Sleep became impossible. I’d stare at my phone, willing the scammers to reply, while suicidal whispers taunted me: This is how it ends. A friend intervened, urging me to contact RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY...WhatsApp: +1 4 14 80 71 4 85.. Skeptical but desperate, I submitted my case, clinging to the frail hope that experts could undo the irreversible. Their response was immediate. Unlike the scammers, they spoke with precision, dissecting the fraud: fake wallets, fabricated transactions, and offshore accounts designed to launder funds. They warned recovery would be arduous but possible. RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY became my lifeline....Email: rapid digital recovery (@) execs. com.. Their team traced cryptocurrency footprints across continents, collaborating with regulators to freeze assets and force accountability. They decoded the scam’s infrastructure, revealing how my loan-funded investment had been funneled into anonymous wallets. Every step was documented; every update, a flicker of hope. Weeks later, the impossible happened: funds began trickling back. First a fraction, then more, until nearly the entire $800,000 including the loan amount was recovered. The relief was visceral. Beyond restoring my finances, they salvaged my dignity. RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY didn’t just expose the scam; they educated me, equipping me to spot fraud and invest wisely. Today, I’m rebuilding not just my wealth, but my trust in humanity. If you’re trapped in a similar hell, know this: there is a way out. RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY doesn’t just retrieve funds they resurrect hope. To those who’ve taken loans, drained savings, or bet it all on a lie: act now. Let them turn your collapse into a comeback.

HOW CAN I RECOVER STOLEN CRYPTO? NEED EXPERT ADVICE HIRE ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST
I had deposited 8 ETH as collateral on what appeared to be a legitimate lending platform, Cryptoloan. com, after coming across their ads on YouTube. They promised fast, secure crypto-backed loans, and I was eager to access funds to help pay down debt and cover my child’s college expenses. WhatsApp info: +12 (72332)—8343
At first glance, everything seemed professional. The website was sleek, the terms were clearly stated, and the entire process looked trustworthy. Encouraged by what I saw, I transferred my 8 ETH to their platform and completed the loan application. Website info: h t t p s:// adware recovery specialist. com
Initially, the process seemed smooth. However, once the loan was approved and I attempted to withdraw the funds, things took a troubling turn. My account was suddenly frozen, and I was informed that I had to pay additional “fees” before I could access either the loan or my collateral.
At first, I assumed it was a technical glitch or a standard procedure. But each time I paid a requested fee, they asked for more—without delivering anything in return. That’s when it became clear: I had fallen victim to a scam.
What was meant to be a solution to my financial stress quickly became a nightmare. My funds were inaccessible, and the platform had vanished behind a wall of false promises. Email info: Adware recovery specialist @ auctioneer. net
Desperate for help, I reached out to ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST, a crypto recovery service I found through trusted online forums. They had a strong reputation for helping victims recover stolen digital assets, and I decided to give them a try. Telegram info: h t t p s:// t. me / adware recovery specialist1

I’m incredibly grateful for their support during such a difficult time. They turned a devastating experience into a hopeful one—helping me move forward, pay my debts, and support my child’s education.2 -

Home Loan Calculator: Simplify Your Mortgage Process with Calculating a Mortgage Loan
When you’re ready to purchase a home, one of the most important financial decisions you’ll make is how to finance it. A home loan calculator is an invaluable tool in this process, helping you understand exactly what your monthly payments will look like and ensuring that you are financially prepared for your new home. At Calculating a Mortgage Loan, we provide comprehensive, user-friendly home loan calculators that make it easier for you to make informed decisions about your mortgage.
Why Use a Home Loan Calculator?
A home loan calculator allows you to quickly and accurately determine the cost of your mortgage. It’s an essential tool for anyone looking to buy a home, refinance, or even adjust their current loan terms. By calculating your mortgage payments in advance, you’ll be better prepared to make a sound financial decision. Here’s why it’s essential to use a home loan calculator:
Understand Your Monthly Payment:
A home loan calculator helps you determine what your monthly mortgage payments will be based on the loan amount, interest rate, and loan term. This gives you a clear picture of how much you’ll need to budget each month to stay on track with your payments.
Assess Affordability:
With the home loan calculator, you can easily adjust loan amounts, interest rates, and loan terms to see how these factors affect your monthly payment. This allows you to find a loan structure that fits your budget and financial situation.
Plan for the Long Term:
It’s not just about your current monthly payment. A home loan calculator also shows you the total cost of the loan over its lifetime, including the principal and interest. This can help you compare different loan terms and decide whether a shorter or longer-term loan is right for you.
Make Informed Decisions:
By using a home loan calculator, you can see exactly how different interest rates and down payment amounts affect your loan. This helps you make smart decisions about choosing a lender, negotiating terms, and determining how much you should put down on your new home.
Save Time and Stress:
Having access to a home loan calculator saves you the hassle of manual calculations or relying on estimates. The tool provides quick, accurate results that allow you to move forward with confidence.
How to Use a Home Loan Calculator
Using a home loan calculator is simple and straightforward. Here’s how you can calculate your monthly mortgage payment:
Enter Loan Amount:
This is the total amount you plan to borrow for your home. It’s usually the purchase price of the home minus your down payment.
Interest Rate:
Input the interest rate for your loan. This rate can vary depending on the type of loan and your creditworthiness.
Loan Term:
Choose the length of your loan, typically 15, 20, or 30 years. The longer the loan term, the lower your monthly payment will be, but you’ll pay more in interest over the life of the loan.
Down Payment:
The more money you put down upfront, the smaller the loan amount will be, reducing your monthly payment. Most homebuyers make a down payment of 20%, but it can vary.
Additional Costs:
Be sure to account for other costs, such as property taxes, homeowner’s insurance, and private mortgage insurance (PMI). These costs are often rolled into your monthly mortgage payment.
Once you input these details, the calculator will give you an estimate of your monthly payment, helping you plan and budget accordingly.
