Tried Asphalt 9 today.
You can’t actually steer. It’s a racing game. You can’t steer. Game steers for you.
I’m leaving this planet.14 -
I was building a controller for an autonomous RC car at a racing competition. We were having issues with line detection leading to poor performance in the steering module. For the drag race we pioneered an innovative new steering strategy: never steer. Won the event.6

Manager: I'm so sorry to say but your collegue A has passed away yesterday afternoon. There will obviously be flowers etc and we'll try to support her family as much as we can..
Me: Oh, no. My deepest condolences. (I'm always bad at saying much in situations like this, but)
B: My gosh! So does this mean A's family also caught it??!? (Corona)
Manager: She died in a car accident.

Also how unfortunate. Due to the lockdown, a ton of the people use the roads as a racing track around here...7 -
I started a hobby software project producing TV graphics for eSports racing events.
At first it really only was a hobby without getting paid at all. After a few years we got our first customer for whom we build a fully functional TV graphics package for their broadcasting network for about 350€ for roughly 80-100 hours of work total.
This was the first time I was getting paid for my own software and since it was just a hobby, it was nice at that time.
After a few more years in the business, we are lucky enough that our software is used by the game developers themselves and big car companies for their eSports events and we are able to make a decent profit from our small hobby.
Took only about 5 years. So never give up, I guess. :)9 -

Teacher: This is a Keyboard, this is a mouse... blah blah blah
Now play Mario!
There was also some space racing game or something installed on the computers. We weren't allowed to play that game, so of course, we did what we weren't allowed to. It was always fun to sneak in a game when the teacher wasn't looking or wasn't around.
We were also taught MS Paint. I "painted" a squirrel in one of the lab sessions, the teacher loved it and showed it to everyone. Everyone applauded and then I became the MS Paint Guru (for them). Fun times..

So, I found this :
Dear Tech Support:
Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0. I soon noticed that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up a lot of space and resources. In addition, Wife 1.0 installed itself into all other programs and now monitors all other system activity. Applications such as Poker Night 10.3, Football 5.0, HuntingAndFishing 7.5, and Racing 3.6. I can't seem to keep Wife 1.0 in the background while attempting to run my favorite applications. I'm thinking about going back to Girlfriend 7.0, but the uninstall doesn't work on Wife 1.0. Please help!
Thanks ...Troubled User

REPLY:
Dear Troubled User:
This is a very common problem. Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0, thinking that it is just a Utilities and Entertainment program. Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its Creator to run EVERYTHING!!! It is also impossible to delete Wife 1.0 and to return to Girlfriend 7.0. It is impossible to uninstall, or purge the program files from the system once installed. You cannot go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is designed not to allow this. Look in your Wife 1.0 manual under Warnings-Alimony-Child Support. I recommend that you keep Wife 1.0 installed and work on improving the configuration. I suggest installing the background application YesDear 99.0 to alleviate software augmentation.
The best course of action is to enter the command C:\APOLOGIZE because ultimately you will have to do this before the system will return to normal anyway.
Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance. Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as CleanAndSweep 3.0, CookIt 1.5 and DoBills 4.2. However, be very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the system to launch the program NagNag 9.5. Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software. I recommend Flowers 2.1 and Diamonds 5.0, but beware because sometimes these applications can be expensive.
WARNING!!! DO NOT, under any circumstances, install SecretaryWithShortSkirt 3.3. This application is not supported by Wife 1.0 and will cause irreversible damage to the operating system.
WARNING!!! Attempting to install NewGirlFriend 8.8 along with Wife 1.0 will crash the system.

Preparing to debug racing condition between 20 different threads.
Not looking forward to this sprint :(5 -
2 things I'm working on now:
#1 a personal project I am hoping to commercialize and turn it into my moneymaker. Hoping it'd at least be enough to pay the bills and put food on my table so I could forget 9/5 for good. But it has a potential of becoming a much, MUCH bigger thing. This would need the right twist tho, and I'm not sure if I am "the right twister" :) We'll see.
#2 smth I'm thinking of opensourcing once finished -- a new form of TLS. This model could be unbreakable by even quantum computing once it's mature enough to crack conventional TLS. I'm probably gonna use md5 or smth even weakier - I'm leveraging the weakness of hashing functions to make my tool stronger :)
I mean how long can we be racing with more powerful computers, eh? Why not use our weakneses to make them our strengths?
Unittests are already passing, I just haven't polished all the corner-cases and haven't worked out a small piece of the initialization process yet. But it's very close6 -
So there was that paranoid schizophrenic person, a blonde girl with a buzz cut, and somehow she was a friend of mine. She used a Linux distro called “!!!!!!!!____!!!!!”, and convinced me it was the best distro out there. But the way she used it was… very specific.
She called me. She told me the new distro was out, this time it was called “!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”, and _this_ was the best one. It finally allowed her to observe the area around her neighbourhood right from her PC, through some app, and make pits in the ground. It was done with a touchscreen of a Nintendo DSi connected to her PC with something that looked like an IDE cable. You touch the area of the screen, and the pit will appear outside IRL. This was needed to trap swine-looking creatures in those pits, as they infested the land and were attacking people in packs, turning them into dirty, greyish, half-transparent lumps of gel.
I went to see her, and somehow I knew exactly how it's going to end, as if I decided to replay a game level. She lived in a rotten, mouldy, dark, half-abandoned condo building. She was also a terrible hoarder. I approach the old wooden door of her flat. It was painted over 1000 times and was barely closing. She knew I would come. She rushed outside, looked at me with her moon-sized eyes, grabbed my arm and told me:
“We have to run.”
I felt a sudden crippling rush of anxiety. I woke up. My heart was absolutely racing. My sight became darker and darker. The chest pain was consuming me, and I could barely move. I almost vomited.
That was quite a night.8 -

I'm playing nowadays NFS Rivals, where I can be a racer or a cop. There's this fucking bug/feature that drives me crazy, so basically when I'm a racer, I'm a target for cops even if I'm just laying around, not racing nor crashing into things. My fucking mere existence triggers them.

I want to rant.
Can we just have a "CUT THE BULLSHIT" mode in racing games for people with jobs? Like fuck this shit, just give me all the Lamborghinis, McLarens and Bentleys and let me play the game god damn it.
I barely get time to play this game, now why the fuck do I have think about putting in extra effort to get rewards. And I'm the one paying you in the first place.
I just paid you 60 bucks for the game now why do I have to grind out the game with shitty ass cars to get a decent car where the game actually starts to be fun.11 -
3 straight days with less than 3 hours of sleep per night. If something or someone wakes me in the first fifteen minutes as I'm drifting off, that's it, my wired for however long.
Previous two nights I just barely slept at all. Last night got awakened twice as I was drifting off. To start with, its ettypre for me to be able to fall asleep at all a second time.
Last three nights I'm not actually sure I even slept. I blinked and it was morning and I woke up exhausted. Only thing I can remember is racing thoughts, as I fell asleep, and the very same exact thoughts *as* I woke up, as if my brain had been thinking the same thing on a loop for a few hours, while I was catatonic and unable to fully shut down, stuck in 'on' mode all night and not realizing it.
Not a single fucking job I work honor's their god damn promises, let alone my repeated requests for night shift.
Was so exhausted yesterday my chest hurt.
How am I supposed to drive to work on less than 9 hours asleep spread out across three days? Cant catch a fuckong break lately, and when I do it's like the universe fucking sabotages me with shit like this.6 -

For a long time, I thought that the most annoying people on the ski slope are kids overestimating their abilities on a difficult piste or speeding down the slope ignoring others. Boy was I wrong; those kids are nothing compared to all the fucking morons who think that buying the most expensive gear at a local sports store makes them better at skiing.
For the love of god, if you ever consider skiing, just buy some reasonably cheap all-mountain gear, and if you think you need something better, do proper research or find a fucking expert. I'm not talking about those "experts" they have at your local sports store, I'm talking someone who provides gear and support for actual ski clubs and teams, or at least someone working at a dedicated outdoors store who actually owns some of the gear they're selling.
"Oh, but I'm an advanced skier" - right, then why don't you tell me what turning radius, width profile, and flex would best fit you? Thought so.
Look, it's clear just by looking at your $1000 "racing" skis that they have a way shorter turning radius than any competition-level skis, and if you were really going as fast as you think you are, you'd probably spin out on every other turn with such a short radius. Your curved skiing poles aren't fooling anyone either; professionals only use those in super-g and downhill because you need to go insanely fast to notice any advantage over regular poles. And people who race that fast use way more protection than I can see on you.
Okay, it's your gear, it's your body; if you're going to buy overpriced stuff that doesn't make sense or neglect protection, that's up to you. Do you know what's not up to you? Being a fucking moron and ruining skiing for everyone else. Just because you got the most expensive "expert-level" gear, you can't just use it for powder, park, or moguls when you feel like it because you don't fucking know how to ride any of these, even if your gear claims to be good for all types of skiing. And let me tell you, that expensive gear you have is much less forgiving than some entry-level gear if you decide to try other styles of skiing.
I'm fucking tired of people like that. If I go to the resort with lots of powder, I want to ride the powder, not spend most of my time avoiding groups of morons who clearly don't have the right gear and skills for the powder. If I go to the resort with a huge park, I want to ride the park, and I can't do anything if the place is covered by dipshits speeding past the objects and braking in front of the jumps. And if I want to race down the piste, I want to race, I don't want to have a bunch of morons constantly switching side in front of me to avoid "rough" parts they can't ride on. -
Problems. We get them frequently, to me it feels like life is not about being happy and all, it's about how you handle your problems. Any kind of problem, be it work related, you personal life anything.
Developing the skill to deal with different kinds of problem is what makes your life better and better.
What world taught me till now, to run away from the discomfort, a lot people talk about how environment is bad, and you should not take shit from anyone. But few things tell us what's actually lack inside us. Maybe, on social media we don't boast a self awareness based thinking because is makes people uncomfortable to think about their own behaviour. Self awareness is becoming more and more important for me now. I am trying to keep my self love intact, it's hard though. But knowing your own shortcomings and taking actions to understand and do something about them makes me feel in more control. Makes me happy. :)
I'm writing this, because I just got a work problem and I snapped and closed my laptop very impatiently. Then in few seconds I realised, it's a kind of a problem that I should try to 'deal' with and not go into a loop of self hatred. Even though my heart ja racing fast, and all the hormones which are making me wanna feel sad, I feel aware and more in control that hey, you are feeling this because this problem has these consequences but let's try to solve it. :) -

I’M COMIC SANS, ASSHOLE
Listen up. I know the shit you’ve been saying behind my back. You think I’m stupid. You think I’m immature. You think I’m a malformed, pathetic excuse for a font. Well think again, nerdhole, because I’m Comic Sans, and I’m the best thing to happen to typography since Johannes fucking Gutenberg.
You don’t like that your coworker used me on that note about stealing her yogurt from the break room fridge? You don’t like that I’m all over your sister-in-law’s blog? You don’t like that I’m on the sign for that new Thai place? You think I’m pedestrian and tacky? Guess the fuck what, Picasso. We don’t all have seventy-three weights of stick-up-my-ass Helvetica sitting on our seventeen-inch MacBook Pros. Sorry the entire world can’t all be done in stark Eurotrash Swiss type. Sorry some people like to have fun. Sorry I’m standing in the way of your minimalist Bauhaus-esque fascist snoozefest. Maybe sometime you should take off your black turtleneck, stop compulsively adjusting your Tumblr theme, and lighten the fuck up for once.
People love me. Why? Because I’m fun. I’m the life of the party. I bring levity to any situation. Need to soften the blow of a harsh message about restroom etiquette? SLAM. There I am. Need to spice up the directions to your graduation party? WHAM. There again. Need to convey your fun-loving, approachable nature on your business’ website? SMACK. Like daffodils in motherfucking spring.
When people need to kick back, have fun, and party, I will be there, unlike your pathetic fonts. While Gotham is at the science fair, I’m banging the prom queen behind the woodshop. While Avenir is practicing the clarinet, I’m shredding “Reign In Blood” on my double-necked Stratocaster. While Univers is refilling his allergy prescriptions, I’m racing my tricked-out, nitrous-laden Honda Civic against Tokyo gangsters who’ll kill me if I don’t cross the finish line first. I am a sans serif Superman and my only kryptonite is pretentious buzzkills like you.
It doesn’t even matter what you think. You know why, jagoff? Cause I’m famous. I am on every major operating system since Microsoft fucking Bob. I’m in your signs. I’m in your browsers. I’m in your instant messengers. I’m not just a font. I am a force of motherfucking nature and I will not rest until every uptight armchair typographer cock-hat like you is surrounded by my lovable, comic-book inspired, sans-serif badassery.
Enough of this bullshit. I’m gonna go get hammered with Papyrus.

I'm tired of meth. I mean math. MATH.
I'm sick and tired of everything.
"First!" numerous blog comments shout to no-one, from the colorful abyss of the internet.
And for me, this is a first. But lets rewind.
It's 2 AM, about a month ago, spring in Akron Ohio. Someone reading this is no doubt shocked "You just revealed where you live, ON THE INTERNET! The weirdos will find you." Anyway, it's a dark and stormy night, as the cliche goes. Like most people up after midnight, I'm browsing facebook posts and useless productivity sites. (lifehacker)
I yearn for something more out of life, somewhere deep down inside..maybe in my colon?
All the articles are saying "10 tips to supercharge your life", "how to discover your life purpose in three easy steps", mixed with an ad about ron jeremys one secret tip to grow a massive cock, and exhortations to buy such-and-such's "new ebook!"
I am not moved by any of this.
Scrolling, and tabbing, and intermittently dropping f-bombs because of js ads locking up my browser, I stop and lean back. In the blue afterglow of my shitty compaqs screen, a thought appears, like a cheesy genie, popping out of a brass toilet. "Start a blog! A youtube channel! A podcast" the ad proclaims. "Yes. Thats what I have to do" I whispered (I'm embarrassed to admit I really did say this).
Then I Control+W'd out of it, and flopped onto my mattress. This was the wasteland of my life. I couldn't help but think The whole internet was like some seedy back alley 2.0, where boxcar willie with his train of needle marks had been replaced by more upstart, greasy-haired gurus. Each peddling 'ebooks' of 'advice', stuffed in between ads to buy 'this one hot stock you have to own' and porn. And that alley was really the 'blogosphere' and 'youtubers'. As I drifted off, the last thought was 'We're all just bottom feeders, leeching and whoring on the attention of faceless anonymous users, hoping for another quick fix.'
I fell asleep, these racing thoughts fading into sweet oblivion, but never too far away.
Welcome to My Back Alley
That title is only twice as dirty, and half as thought-out as I planned. As you imagine, the lure of being the electronic equivalent of a conman never quite faded. And the more I read, the stronger the message "Start a youtube channel!" grew. As if everyone and their grandmother having a youtube channel would somehow make the world right, cure cancer, and save kittens from animal shelter gas chambers. Everyones an expert, everyones an agent of change. Maximizing productivity, Evangelizing Technology, ninjas collaborating to socialfy your community diversification benchmark for target traffic
through user-engagement and authentic grass-roots, blah, blah, blah, blah, money. Thrusting, moaning, screaming. Money. Pumping at the center of it all.
Wake up and smell the bullshit.
This blog is not a blog. This blog is the anti-blog, and we are the anti-streamers. 'We' (read "I") resist your bullshit lingo bingo, call out the Truth (Tm) and refuse to be satisfied with any standards of decency, journalistic integrity, or common sense.
Every blog, every channel, every podcast is Starbucks And I'm tyler durden, pissing in your coffee, and calling it a 'latte'.
Freaks, and anarchists, laymen and losers. If you feel as I do, then this is the place for you. Welcome to devrant.2 -

Today I had a full-day job interview for a junior data scientist position.
First I met the team which was only like half of everyone because apparently everyone was gone on Fridays. However the few there were really nice.
First task is to do some basic data analysis stuff even though I already spent a week on the coding challenge and sent them all my code/tasks. I log into my machine and create a new virtual environment but can't for the life of me figure out how to use the command line in windows to install packages. Turns out there is some problem with their proxy and they have to log me in on that. Then I am struggling on the keyboard because it's for a language different that my mother tongue and it takes me 3x as long to so the most simple things. All my shortcuts are out the window. Haven't a hard time typing parentheses and brackets. Start freaking out and have a panic attack mid task. I'm sweating bullets. I didn't even make it to the simple visualization tasks much less the models at the end. Time gets called and we all go to lunch and I'm freaking out on the inside the entire time. Angry at myself because I know I am better and just couldn't think.
After lunch I present my code and results from a coding challenge I did weeks prior. People from other teams get invited and I end up getting grilled for 2 hours by 15 people. Questions are flying in from all sides. They ask me almost everything I know about machine learning and some more. Under stress I forgot the name of the optimizer I used and couldn't answer some easy stuff because my mind was racing.
Right now I am on the train home and my body physically hurts. I am disappointed with myself and wish I could have shown up better. Never really froze up like this before.2 -

France qualified to the finals of the world cup and people are already losing it here. It sucks when you’re also poor cause you need to go out to ex. empty trash can. If you’re living in small apartment it will get claustrophobic sooner or later. If you live with family you’re hero if you won’t kill them.
Now if I can’t travel around I see no gain at all and only pain points.
So if you can’t afford big house with swimming pool, gardener, maid, bar and bartender, private lake and car racing track you still need to go outside of your property.
So if you’re poor and you’re working remotely during pandemic you will most likely gain depression, claustrophobia and other mental illness that will sooner or later ruin your and other people’s life except psychologists if only you can afford one.2 -

I don’t have a driving license, but I WANT to race. So far, I only raced karts, but it was phenomenal.
There was one specific moment when I realized racing was for me: I’m entering a smooth left turn after a long straight that I passed flooring it. I put my feet off the gas while entering the turn, and one second after, I feel the BOOM! in my exhaust. Just like in those racing games I played as a kid.
This. This was the moment.
After that, I was almost injured in the very next lap. My kart went spinning after someone hit me, and it almost turned over. Apparently, twelve tipsy to drunk people driving powerful karts on a small track is how karting was in Russia. Next time I race, I’ll race with a driving teacher.6 -

Was like 6 when my parents bought their first computer. I don't really remember much of it besides countless hours of playing Need for Speed Hot. That and Diddy Kong Racing on my Nintendo 64. How I miss those times.
P.S: reposted it because I forgot the wk tag and the 30 min edit had already passed . -
My first exposure to computers was when I was about 5 at least that's what I remember. My dad and his friend built custom rigs for people in their spare time back then (late 90s) I remember playing some racing game. Other than that o eventual got one of their old computers and used it for a really long time, replacing it with a gateway until high school then hitting PC gaming and programming I built my first custom rig with my dad.

Oh shit I've had way to much caffeine 🤤

Oh fuck.... Loud music and hype might help !?

I want to play some games in my free time, what would be the best option for me ?
choice 1 : ps5 or xbox?
choice 2 : monitor or 4k tv
choice 3 : above choices or simply buy a windows laptop?
context :
1. i have never been a hardcore gamer. i don't dig multiplayer global kinda games like pubg, or other fps. I rather like offline story games like takken or NFS most wanted 2005
2. my current laptop is a macbook. i started development with windows laptop years ago, and at that time i was free enough to complete most wanted 2005 and max payne 1/2 (with cheats) i liked gta vice city / sanandreas as well, but i could not pass its missions and would rather end up roaming around
3. i recently played it takes 2 , some bmx bike racing and some archery game with my friend on his PS5 and damn i liked that crispy super fast and detailed graphical games. might be a good investment for relaxation and weekend time pass
4. i am shifting homes and in need of a personal tv/display as I don't want to share family tv anymore. i don't really watch any cable tv shows apart from news channels and mainly consume ott content (netflix ,prime Hotstar etc) i am wondering if a display could also be mounted on wall and could be able to run otts vis some firestick, jio stick or google cast etc.
5. as i mentioned that i never had a taste for gaming, i wonder if all above would be a bad choice and if i should simply buy a good windows laptop
( whatever that technology is , all i want is to control that screen content with a remote, like we do in tv)
So what's best for me?12 -
I think i was like 7 or 8 yo. When school vacation started, my mom joined me in this computer centre near her workplace.
I belive it was a Windows 95 system powered probably by Pentium 2 and i remember playing Aladdin, mario and a fun racing car game.
I remember i liked a lady teacher there and being scared of the male teacher from whom I learned about basic computer peripheral terms like CPU, floppy disc drive etc. -
I'm all for trans rights but drag racing sounds a bit cruel tbh with the high heels and all it sounds like a perfect recipe to have twisted ankles.2

I have an analogy for what is a SinglePageApplication.
Think browser as a highly tuned racing horse. With decades of expertiese, professionals have developed methods to make it fast and efficient. It'll take you where ever you want.
SPA on the other hand is a weird looking creature.
It's made of a donkey, stacked with all kinds of extra stuff. Donkey is slow by nature and because of this extra payload it's now so heavy that it can barely move on it's own, so you need a heavy lorry to move it around. Because donkey is derived from a horse, it has it's built in features. If you give it a carrot, it will refresh it self. You don't like horsies and it's not allowed to be horse-like so you have to build obstacles to counter these features.
Now after all this pain and not gaining anything, you have an SPA and you can fantasie that it has superpowers and it can do what ever you want. If you put flame stickers on it, you can even pretend that it's a go-cart.1 -
So we work in sprints of two weeks, we are two people in our team, in the beginning, we get assigned work and we continue to work on it the rest of the week, but sometimes my manager adds last minute tasks or makes it so whatever i was currently working on is not important anymore after i have already cut a long shot through it
But anyways i understand thats how work is, but what seems to happen now as well is that i finish all the work assigned to me early so i can work on any bug fixes that may arise from such features or old bugs, so then for example he gives task 1,2,3,4 to me and task 5,6,7,8 to my colleague which is ahead of me in rank but not my leader per se, she has more experience as she worked in another company for 7 months before and i never worked before , but then i finish my work by the middle of second week and he ends up adding some of her tasks to me and forces me to finish them fast as he thinks they are no big deal (hes also a non technical manager) so i am always racing to finish whatever he throws at me last minute and ending up getting the blame if i dont finish those last minute tasks, also if i take vacation and come back instead of giving me tasks to do he just gives me bugs of recent features that was done by my colleague while im on vacation
And when i confronted him about it that at any point in time whenever i check how much work is left for me and my colleague, she has less work than me, he said “i will skip all this because you got this wrong” and then continued to just ask me to do more things on the weekend day
Ofc so i tried to make sure i dont finish my work before time so he doesnt do that
But instead he ends up blaming me and saying i should have finished2 -
For like 6 months since I first started learning unity I've had the urge to try and remake JakX Combat Racing with it just so I can play that game again without the issues an emulator had or needing to get a 'new to me' ps2 and find a copy of the game
But I know for 100% certainty that I don't have the capability to make it. At least not make it functional1 -
CRYPTOCURRENCY FRAUD RECOVERY, HACKER FOR HIRE> CONTACT SALVAGE ASSET RECOVERY
It’s strange how one moment everything can feel completely under control, and the next, you're staring at a computer screen, heart racing, with no idea what just went wrong. That’s exactly how I felt a few weeks ago when I made a simple ETH transfer from Ku coin to my Meta Mask wallet. It seemed like a routine transaction, nothing out of the ordinary. But when I checked my Meta Mask after a few minutes, I couldn’t believe my eyes. My ETH was gone. At first, I thought maybe there was a delay. I refreshed the page, checked again, but still, nothing. Panic started to set in. I immediately turned to Ethers can, where I entered my transaction hash, hoping for some clarity. What I found was far worse than I could have imagined: my ETH wasn’t stuck in limbo; it had already been transferred to an address I didn’t recognize. To make matters worse, the gas fee on this transaction was far higher than it should have been—almost suspiciously high. Something was off. My gut told me this wasn’t a mistake; it felt like I’d been targeted. I didn’t know what to do next. The address was foreign to me, and the transaction seemed completely legitimate on the surface, making it even harder to figure out where things went wrong. Frustrated and desperate, I started looking for solutions. That’s when I came across “Salvage Asset Recovery,” a service that specializes in recovering lost or stolen crypto assets. I was initially doubtful—after all, how could a third party help me with something so personal and irreversible? But I had no other choice. I contacted them, and within a few hours, I was in touch with a professional who walked me through the situation. With their expertise, it became clear that I had likely fallen victim to a phishing attack or exploit, which had tricked me into sending my ETH to a malicious address. They assured me that recovery was possible and began working immediately. In what seemed like a miracle, my ETH was returned. The entire ordeal had been a nightmare, but with the help of Salvage Asset Recovery, I got my funds back. It was a huge relief, but it also served as a wake-up call. I learned the hard way that in the world of crypto, things aren’t always as straightforward as they seem. Now, I triple-check everything before I make any transactions, and I’m much more cautious about where I seek help. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, don’t hesitate to reach out to Salvage Asset recovery, you might just get your money back, too.

EXPERIENCED CRYPTOCURRENCY RECOVERY COMPANY ⁚ CONTACT DIGITAL HACK RECOVERY FOR BEST SERVICES
Imagine waking up, groggily reaching for your phone to check your crypto balance, only to find out you’re locked out of your Bitcoin wallet, holding a cool $550,000. No explanation, no warning—just an impenetrable wall between you and your hard-earned fortune. Yep, that’s how my day started, and let me tell you, it wasn’t the morning coffee that got my heart racing. It felt like I had been shoved into a financial horror movie, except instead of a masked villain, it was my Bitcoin wallet holding me hostage.
After the initial panic—and after realizing that yelling at my laptop wasn’t going to magically unlock my wallet—I did what any reasonable person would do: I turned to Google. After several hours of frantic research, which mostly led to dead ends and sketchy forums, I finally stumbled across something that didn’t look like a scam: Digital Hack Recovery. It sounded almost too good to be true, but at this point, I was willing to try anything short of selling my soul to get that $550,000 back.
So, I took the plunge and contacted Digital Hack Recovery. From the get-go, their team was an absolute breath of fresh air. Instead of the vague promises and technical jargon I’d come to expect from other services, they laid everything out in simple, clear terms. No sugarcoating, no "We'll get back to you in 5 business days" nonsense—they got right to work. And let me tell you, their forensic approach to wallet recovery was nothing short of magic (or at least, the kind of magic that involves a lot of advanced technology I’ll never understand).
The best part? They kept me updated throughout the entire process. I wasn’t left sitting around, anxiously biting my nails, wondering if I’d ever see my Bitcoin again. Every step of the way, they communicated what they were doing and why, which put me at ease—something that’s no small feat when you’re staring at a locked wallet with $550,000 inside. And just when I thought it couldn’t get any better, there were no hidden fees. None. Nada. Everything was upfront and transparent, which is something you don’t often find in the world of cryptocurrency.
Before I knew it, Digital Hack Recovery had done the impossible. They restored full access to my wallet, and I didn’t lose a single satoshi. It was as if the whole nightmare had never happened, except I now had a newfound appreciation for wallet security (and a checklist of things not to do in the future). So, if you’re ever locked out of your wallet—whether through a hacker’s handiwork or your own accidental blunder—don’t panic. Just call Digital Hack Recovery. They’re the real deal, and trust me, they’ll bring your funds back where they belong: in your wallet, not lost in some digital black hole. For quick assistance contact Digital Hack Recovery through⁚

RECOVERING LOST OR STOLEN CRYPTOCURRENCY WALLETS: A COMPREHENSIVE GUIDE WITH RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY
One fateful day, my life took an unexpected turn when I received a phone call that would change everything. The voice on the other end claimed to be from my bank, delivering alarming news: my account had been frozen due to suspicious activity. Panic surged through me as I listened, my heart racing at the thought of losing my hard-earned savings. At that moment, I had about 130,000 USD in my bank, equivalent to around 2 BTC. The caller spoke with such authority and urgency that I felt compelled to act immediately. They insisted that the only way to protect my funds was to transfer Bitcoin BTC to them for "safekeeping. In my fear and confusion, I believed I was making a wise decision to secure my finances. Without fully grasping the implications, I complied and transferred the equivalent of my savings in Bitcoin, convinced I was safeguarding my money. It wasn’t until later that the reality of my situation hit me like a ton of bricks. I had been duped, and the weight of my mistake was unbearable. Shame and disbelief washed over me as I realized how easily I had been manipulated. How could I have let this happen? The feeling of vulnerability was overwhelming, and I was left grappling with the consequences of my actions. I learned about a recovery expert named RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY. Desperate to reclaim what I had lost, I reached out for help. RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY was knowledgeable and reassuring, explaining that there was a chance to trace the Bitcoin I had sent. With their expertise, they tracked the stolen funds to a peer-to-peer (P2P) exchanger based in the United Kingdom. This revelation sparked a glimmer of hope within me, a sense that perhaps justice could be served. RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY collaborated with Action Fraud, the UK's national reporting center for fraud and cybercrime, to take decisive action against the scammers. Knowing that law enforcement was involved provided me with a sense of relief. The thought that the culprits behind my suffering could be brought to justice was comforting. In an incredible turn of events, RAPID DIGITAL RECOVERY successfully recovered all my funds, restoring my faith in the possibility of justice and recovery.

CRYPTO RECOVERY: GUIDE TO RECLAIMING LOST OR STOLEN DIGITAL ASSETS HIRE ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST
I've lived in time zones, flights, and multiple passports my whole life; I knew I had this thing down to perfection. Still, in a fraction of one of those traveling-around-the-world seconds, complete and utter travel-induced chaos led me to misplace my hardware wallet on one of those endless long-haul flights. It was securely tucked away in my bag one minute and gone the next-missing or, rather more probably, it had been "borrowed" by a fellow passenger who had been inquisitive about the contents.
I landed at my destination, thrown into total panic mode. Impossible, I thought. My $750,000 in Bitcoin was now conceivably floating on some random airplane at some point between continents. My mind was racing, replaying every possible scenario. Could it have fallen between the seats? Was I too tired to tell? I wasn't sure, but I knew one thing for sure: I was in deep trouble. WhatsApp info:+12 (72332)—8343
In my desperation, I had but one hope left, and that was ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST . They answered my call and, boy, were they reassuring. "Even if your wallet is physically missing, we can still recover your Bitcoin." They said this, and I must admit, I did not know whether to believe them, yet I had nothing to lose at that time.
In an instant, they started tracking my Bitcoin's digital footprint on the blockchain. I was amazed by how, even though the physical wallet was never found, they were able to track down precisely where my money had gone. It was like Sherlock Holmes, but for the digital world, and I just couldn't get enough of their professionalism in handling this case.
After days of relentless work, I finally got the call every cryptocurrency holder wished for: They had recovered my $750,000. Relief hit me like a wave. It wasn't all about the money; it was about the peace of mind accompanying the thought that my investment was safe, despite what seemed to be a complete loss.
Now, in retrospect, I have a couple of good lessons learned: first, check your bags before takeoff, and second, never in the world should your hardware wallet leave your pocket to sit in the airplane seat pocket. Thankfully, ADWARE RECOVERY SPECIALIST had my back when I needed them most, and I'll never underestimate the power of their expertise again.3 -

Here's the scene: I'm cooking pancakes for my three kids, feeling like a breakfast hero, when my youngest kid launches syrup around the kitchen like a grenade. In my frantic attempt to move my laptop, which holds $480,000 worth of Bitcoin, to safety, I knock it straight into the sink. The noise of water and electronics mixing is louder than the laughter of my children. There's a slight smell of burned circuits in the air. Panic washes over me faster than syrup on the counter. My digital savings, my kids' future safety nets, are drowning beneath soap bubbles. Despair hit harder than a toddler tantrum. I imagined tuition bills piling up like dirty dishes. My heart was racing. All the savings plans that I had built were now dissolving in dishwater. I knew exactly how much Bitcoin was on that laptop. I also knew exactly how little I knew about getting it back. That evening, googling between sobs and half-eaten pancakes, I stumbled upon a parenting blog. In between advice for getting crayon off walls and surviving teething, a mom had casually mentioned FUNDS RECLIAMER COMPANY after her toddler had flushed her crypto wallet down the toilet. Her story was oddly comforting, because her Bitcoin was recovered. Maybe mine could be too. Having nothing to lose but hope, I called them. Their technicians behaved like old paramedics to a kitchen disaster. No questions, just action. They treated my drowned laptop with the finesse of a delicate organ transplant. I received daily progress reports written so clearly even sleep-deprived parents could understand. They interpreted the drowned hardware with the expertise of surgeons and the patience of preschool teachers. Ten days went by, and then came the email: Recovered. My wallet, risen from the dead. $480,000 back in my hands. I nearly dropped the spatula. "We can have pancakes forever!" I shouted. The kids cheered, thinking it was about syrup. They had no clue that I'd just funded their college, their future, and a lifetime supply of maple awesomeness. Now my laptop is kept away from the sink, and FUNDS RECLIAMER COMPANY is on my personal Mount Rushmore of heroes. They didn't just recover my Bitcoin; they recovered my peace of mind, and proved that even in syrup war anarchy, there are digital lifeguards out there waiting to save you.1 -
update : we are at hr round baby!!!
part 1 : https://devrant.com/rants/5528056/...
part 2 (in comments) : https://devrant.com/rants/5550145/...
the tech market is crazy mann! it's one of the top indie fintech companies in our country and has a great valuation.
i totally felt that they i am crashing the interviews , and am seriously not trying to be humble. before the dsa round , i was trying to mug up how insertion sort works 🥲
--------
now my dilemma is should i switch if i get the offer. in a summary:
current company:
- small valuation but profitable (haven't picked funding for last 3 years , so poast valuation is some double digit million $, but can easily be a unicorn company)
- very major b2b player in my country. almost all unicorns (including this fintech company) and some major MNCs are their client and they have recently acquired a few other companies of us and eu too, making them- a decent global player
- meh work : i love being a cutting edge performer in android but here we make sdks that need to support even legacy banking apps. so tech stack is a lot of verbose java and daily routine includes making very minor changes to actual code and more towards adding tests , maintaining wrapper sdks in react/cordova/unity etc, checking client side code etc.
- awesome work life balance : since work is shit and i am fast enough, i am usually working only 2-4 hours a day. i joined gym, got into shape , and have already vsited 5 places in last 6 months, and i am a guy who didn't used to have time even on sundays. here, we get mote paid leaves than what i would usually need.
- learning opportunities: not exactly from the company codebase, but they provide unlimited access to various course learning platforms like linkedin learning, udemy and others, so i joined some web dev baches and i now know decent frontend too. plus those hybrid sdks also give a light context to new things
new company :
- positives : multi billion valuation, one of the top players in fintech , have been mostly profitable ( except a few quarters)
- positive : b2c so its (hopefully) going to put me back into racing shoes with kotlin, jetpack and latest libraries.
- more $$$ for your boy :)
- negetive : they seem to be on hiring spree and am afraid to junp ship after seeing the recent coinbase layoffs. fintech is scary these days
- negetive : if they are hiring people like me, then then they are probably hiring people worse than me 😂. although thats not my concern what my main concer is how they interviewed. they have hired a 3rd party company that takes interviews of people FOR THEM! i find that extremely impolite, like they don't even wanna spare their devs to hire people they are gonna work with. i find this a toxic, robotic culture and if these are the people in there then i would have a terrible time finding some buddy engineer or some helpful senior.
- negetive : most probably a bad wlb : i worked for an year for a fast paced b2c edtech startup. no matter how old these are , b2c are always shipping new stuff and are therefore hectic. i don't like the boredom here but i would miss the free time to workout :(
so ... any thoughts about it?4 -
Recovering Stolen Bitcoin: How To Retrieve Hacked Or Drained Bitcoin wallet → HACKATHON TECH SOLUTIONS
Loosing $275,000 was like watching my dreams go up in ashes. That kind of money was supposed to finance my second food truck—a milestone towards growing my small taco business. But instead, with a careless click, it was gone.
It started with what seemed like an ordinary SMS. It was Coinbase, telling me about suspicious action on my Bitcoin wallet. I was racing in my heart. I panicked. I clicked without thinking and supplied them with information. Within minutes, my wallet was drained—$275,000, every penny I'd earned in six years, stolen.
I was sick. Ashamed. Angry with myself. I thought I was safe on the net, but I got caught. I didn't even tell my family at first—I couldn't bear their disillusionment.
That day, doing tacos from my food truck, I was half-awake. I got a couple orders mixed up, I guess, because one of my regular customers—a nice, affable man I called "Professor Mike"—picked up that something was amiss. After I finally, explosively exclaimed what occurred, he didn't tease or reprimand me. He only nodded and responded, "Call HACKATHON TECH SOLUTIONS. Trust me."
It just so happened that Professor Mike was a cyber security expert. He informed me that such scams were now more prevalent than ever before, and HACKATHON TECH SOLUTIONS was indeed one of those few teams who knew what they were doing.
I phoned them that evening. From the first call, their customer service was calm, professional, and—most importantly—they did not make me feel stupid. They explained each step and comforted me that they would do whatever they could to get back my money.
They worked fast. Within a couple of days, they followed the scam to a burner phone scam ring. I have no idea what all of the technical work was that they did, but this I know—my Bitcoin was recovered. My wallet within 10 days, all my cents restored to where they ought to be.
I gazed upon that balance look, I cried. Over there in the truck, near the salsa booth.
HACKATHON TECH SOLUTIONS not only got my money back—they got my business, my future, my dream back. If you ever get scammed, don't lose hope. Call them. And if you ever come through my taco truck, tacos are on me. Reach out to HACKATHON TECH SOLUTIONS via below contact details

After months of meticulous research, I cautiously invested $188,000 into a binary options platform that promised steady returns. At the time, I lived in California, where I’d worked tirelessly to build my life and savings. I monitored my account for weeks, reassured by the platform’s professional interface and seemingly legitimate operations. Encouraged by initial gains, I grew optimistic until the day I attempted my first withdrawal. The transaction stalled, and panic surged as I realized my funds were trapped. I immediately contacted customer support via every channel listed: emails went unanswered, calls rang endlessly, and live chat options mysteriously vanished. Days turned into weeks, my anxiety deepening with each ignored plea. Then, an unsettling email arrived: to “unlock” withdrawals, I was told to deposit an additional $50,000. The demand felt predatory, a glaring red flag. Refusing to comply, I confronted the grim truth—I’d been ensnared in an elaborate scam. The aftermath was crushing. Nights were sleepless, my mind racing with regret and anger. I replayed every decision, tormented by the loss of hard-earned savings meant to secure my family’s future. Friends urged me to accept the loss, but resignation felt like surrender.
Months later, while scouring online forums for solutions, I stumbled upon a thread praising Tech Cyber Force Recovery. Skeptical yet desperate, I devoured countless testimonials stories mirroring my own, with endings I scarcely dared to believe. With trembling resolve, I reached out. Their team responded within hours, radiating empathy. They requested transaction records, communication logs, and platform details, guiding me through each step. Though doubts lingered, their transparency starkly contrasted with the shadowy operators who’d stolen my trust. Then, the impossible happened: 32 hours later, I received confirmation that my entire $188,000 had been recovered. Tears of relief blurred my screen as I verified the funds in my account. Tech Cyber Force Recovery hadn’t just restored my savings, they’d restored my faith in justice. This ordeal taught me harsh lessons about vigilance in the digital age. Yet it also revealed the power of resilience and the critical importance of seeking help. To anyone trapped in the nightmare of financial fraud, I urge you: act swiftly, document everything, and trust in experts like Tech Cyber Force Recovery. They are beacons of hope in an increasingly complex world, turning despair into redemption when it matters most.

Sometimes life gives you signs-you just gotta be paying attention. One night, deep in an Uber ride, I struck up a conversation with the driver. The topic of Bitcoin came up, and he mentioned that he once lost his wallet containing $50,000.
I thought this would be the end of the story-something like regret, lessons learned, and moving on. But then he said something that stuck with me: "Thankfully, I found WIZARD WEB RECOVERY SERVICES . They got everything back." I nodded, really interested but unconcerned. After all, I was very careful with my wallet security. I thought, That's rough, but it could never happen to me. A week later, it happened to me. I lost the wallet holding $300,000 while overhauling my crypto storage system. In one wrong move, my funds became completely unreachable. I retraced passwords, checked backups, tried everything that normally works, but nothing worked. Panic kicked in. My mind was racing, trying to figure out my next move. And then, I remembered the Uber driver's story.
I didn't waste a moment and contacted WIZARD WEB RECOVERY SERVICES . Right upon connecting to their team, I could feel my nerves calm down. They did not right away get to work but also asked questions, analyzed my situation, and explained how the recovery would go. It was next-level professionalism; they didn't just work on how to return my money but also how to make me understand what happened and how I could avoid it in the future. Finally, after what felt like the longest wait of my life, came the message that I had been waiting for: My wallet was recovered successfully.
Relief doesn't even begin to describe my feeling at that moment. That $300,000 wasn't just money; it was years of careful investments and strategic planning. And in an instant, it was all back where it belonged. In retrospect, I owe more than a five-star rating to that Uber driver. His story gave me a lifeline which I didn't know I needed. Lesson learned: Pay attention to those random conversations-you never know when they might save you a fortune.1 -

Lesson learned: Pay attention to those random conversations-you never know when they might save you a fortune.

THE BEST ASSET TRACKING SOLUTIONS / MUYERN TRUST HACKER
A night out with friends is supposed to be a blast—until you get a little too carried away and forget the password to your $600,000 Bitcoin wallet. In my defense, I had written it down... somewhere. But after one too many margaritas, I was left with zero recollection of where that vital piece of paper might be hiding. It’s amazing how a night of laughter and drinks can turn into a spiral of regret and panic!
With my heart racing and my stomach churning, I knew I had to act fast. That’s when I decided to call MUYERN TRUST HACKER. As I dialed their number on ( Whats app + 1, 4 4 0, 33, 50, 2 0 5 ) I half-expected them to burst into laughter at my margarita-induced amnesia, but to my relief, they were nothing but kind and professional. “Don’t worry,” they said, reassuring me. “We’ve heard it all before.”
To my amazement, it didn’t take long for them to retrieve my password and restore my access to the $600,000. I felt a rush of relief wash over me as they confirmed my funds were safe and sound. I could hardly believe it!
Needless to say, I’ve since memorized my password and placed it in a more secure spot—far away from my margarita-induced brain fog. I’ve also cut back on the drinks a bit, realizing that my wallet is worth more than a round of cocktails. So, if you ever find yourself in a similarly sticky situation, I wholeheartedly recommend MUYERN TRUST HACKER. They saved my sanity and my funds! They can also be reached on their mail at muyerntrusted @ ma il - me . c o m -

CONSULT A LICENSED BITCOIN RECOVERY EXPERT- HIRE SALVAGE ASSET RECOVERY
take a leap of faith. I filled out their consultation form, heart racing with a mixture of hope and apprehension. It felt like throwing a message in a bottle into the vast cyber ocean, praying someone would find it and help me navigate back to shore. Within hours, I received an email from Marcus, one of their lead recovery specialists. His tone was reassuring and professional, filled with an empathic understanding of my plight. He reiterated my fears about scams, explaining that skepticism was a natural response given the ruthless nature of the crypto world. However, he shared a few success stories involving recovered funds, detailing painstaking journeys that resonated with my own. There was something about his honest approach that removed a chunk of doubt from my mind. I scheduled a call with Marcus, where he meticulously walked me through their process. They respected my urgency, treating my case with the seriousness it deserved. Their strategies involved utilizing advanced blockchain forensic techniques that would track down stolen assets through the labyrinth of online chaos. A team of experts patiently monitored developments, pored over transactions, and leveraged networks outside the ordinary realm of recovery protocols. As he spoke, I couldn't help but feel a flicker of hope ignite within me. My next step was to gather every piece of information I had about the transaction—a blurry screenshot, a few emails, and my increasingly frazzled mental state. I sent it all over with a deep breath, a cloud of anxiety hanging overhead. Days turned into nights, and I could hardly maintain my usual routine, my focus drifting toward notifications as if my phone would magically chirp with the triumphant news I yearned for. Just when I felt the flame of hope waning, I got an unexpected call from Marcus. “We have a lead,” he said. My heart pounded louder than anything I'd ever felt—a racing pulse combining both exhilarating hope and crippling anxiety. Over the span of several tension-filled weeks, I remained in close contact with the Salvage Asset Recovery team. They operated transparently, sending me updates regularly, and assuring me that not a moment was wasted in the relentless pursuit of my funds. As days slowly merged into weeks, I learned how meticulous investigation might occasionally feel excruciatingly slow, but they refused to give up. and then it happened. One sunny afternoon, a ping echoed from my phone, a gleaming notification flashing wildly: "Funds Recovered." Stunned disbelief washed over me. The figure before my eyes was not just a number—it was a lifeline, a redemptive shift back to stability. I nearly yelled in excitement. With renewed gratitude, I approached the very same keyboard that earlier had felt more like an anchor than a tool for liberation. I crafted a heartfelt thank-you email to Marcus and the team. Their expertise and unwavering support had facilitated the impossible. In the unpredictable world of cryptocurrency, transparency reigned supreme. Salvage Asset Recovery had proven to be a beacon in chaotic waters—a team driven not just by the quest for profit, but by restoring hope to those caught in its grab. I’d almost lost faith in both technology and humanity, but they restored my belief in second chances—one lost dollar at a time. Reach out to Salvage Asset Recovery via below contact details.

I still remember the day our first computer arrived in 2001. I was just a kid, but that beige tower and bulky CRT monitor felt like something out of a sci-fi movie. It came with Windows ME (which I later learned wasn’t exactly the best OS), but at the time, I didn’t care. I was too busy exploring the wonders of Minesweeper, Pinball, and—when I finally got my hands on a CD—Age of Empires II.
My first real gaming obsession, though, was Need for Speed: Porsche Unleashed. The moment I launched it, I was hooked. The graphics were mind-blowing for my nine-year-old self, and the thrill of racing a classic 911 through winding European roads was pure magic. Of course, I was still figuring out how to use a keyboard properly, so my "races" mostly involved crashing into walls and flipping the car. But I loved every second of it.
Another game that consumed my childhood was Counter-Strike 1.3. My friends and I would take turns on the computer, arguing over who got to be on the Terrorist team and who had to be Counter-Terrorist. Back then, our reaction times weren’t exactly pro-gamer level, and aiming with a mouse felt awkward.
Looking back, those early gaming days were pure magic. No microtransactions, no battle passes—just me, a clunky PC, and an endless sense of wonder. I’d give anything to relive those moments again.1 -

I know this is not the best place where I can ask a question, since this is not really a rant but I would really appreciate it if you can help me.
I was wondering if you can suggest me a simple open source Android native game with a set gameplay time ( aka some racing game where the duration could be 3-5 min depending on the players actions, but not infinite) and possibly different levels of difficulty.
Yes I googled this and I found several good ones, but I am looking for more suggestions. -
