I once worked until 8am to get a demo ready for a client of the client. I knew the client was a bit thick, so I made some comprehensive video demos and sent them over to him, to save him trying to demo it himself. I wake up at 11am with him screaming down the phone at me:
“It doesn’t work, none of it works!”
“What do you mean?”
“I go to login and I can’t enter anything.”
“I haven’t sent you anything to log into...wait, are you trying to log into a video? Tell me you’re not trying to log into a video of a login page.”
“Uh...oh hang on, it just worked. Ok no pr-“
“No wait, what do you mean it worked?”
“I logged in fine.”
“It’s a video. You can’t log into a video.”
“Uh...alright, bye mate, thanks!”
The moral of the story is: never assume any level of intelligence on the part of a client, even if they exhibit signs of it at first. If they are paying you they will forget how to tie their own shoelaces.10 -
Facebook publicly announced that it won't build a backdoor into its services for the intelligence agencies as for the latest requests to weaken/remove the encryption.
I can only imagine the intelligence agencies going like this now:
NSA director: Alright, as expected they said no so they won't have more damage to their public image, lets go for plan A 2.0!
NSA employee: Aaaand that is?
NSA director: Serve them a FISA court order requiring them to do this shit anyways but also serve a gag order so they can't tell legally.
NSA employee: Ahh, fair enough, I'll get that rolling. By the way, how did we do this with WhatsApp's encryption again?
NSA director: Oh that one was simple. There's a backup function which nearly everyone uses on either Android/iOS which does plaintext backups to Google Drive/iCloud.
NSA employee: Oh, okay. How do we access that data again?
NSA director: PRISM/XKeyScore!
NSA employee: Right, but then still the issue of how we even collect the encrypted messages from Facebo...
NSA director: PRISM/XKeyScore as well, don't worry about that.
NSA employee: But, how'd we justify this....?
NSA director: We probably never have to as these programs operate outside of the public view but otherwise just call terrorism/pedophelia... BAM, done.
NSA employee: Gotya, let's put this into motion!22 -
This rant is a confession I had to make, for all of you out there having a bad time (or year), this story is for you.
Last year, I joined devRant and after a month, I was hired at a local company as an IT god (just joking but not far from what they expected from me), developer, web admin, printer configurator (of course) and all that in my country it's just called "the tech guy", as some of you may know.
I wasn't in immediate need for a full-time job, I had already started to work as a freelancer then and I was doing pretty good. But, you know how it goes, you can always aim for more and that's what I did.
The workspace was the usual, two rooms, one for us employees and one for the bosses (there were two bosses).
Let me tell you right now. I don't hate people, even if I get mad or irritated, I never feel hatred inside me or the need to think bad of someone. But, one of the two bosses made me discover that feeling of hate.
He had a snake-shaped face (I don't think that was random), and he always laughed at his jokes. He was always shouting at me because he was a nervous person, more than normal. He had a tone in his voice like he knew everything. Early on, after being yelled for no reason a dozen of times, I decided that this was not a place for me.
After just two months of doing everything, from tech support to Photoshop and to building websites with WordPress, I gave my one month's notice, or so I thought. I was confronted by the bosses, one of which was a cousin of mine and he was really ok with me leaving and said that I just had to find a person to replace me which was an easy task. Now, the other boss, the evil one, looked me on the eye and said "you're not going anywhere".
I was frozen like, "I can't stay here". He smiled like a snake he was and said "come on, you got this we are counting on you and we are really satisfied with how you are performing till now". I couldn't shake him, I was already sweating. He was rolling his eyes constantly like saying "ok, you are wasting my time now" and left to go to some basketball practice or something.
So, I was stuck there, I could have caused a scene but as I told you, one of the bosses was a cousin of mine, I couldn't do anything crazy. So, I went along with it. Until the next downfall.
I decided to focus on the job and not mind for the bad boss situation but things went really wrong. After a month, I realised that the previous "tech guy" had left me with around 20 ancient Joomla - version 1.0 websites, bursting with security holes and infested with malware like a swamp. I had never seen anything like it. Everyday the websites would become defaced or the server (VPN) would start sending tons of spam cause of the malware, and going offline at the end. I was feeling hopeless.
And then the personal destruction began. I couldn't sleep, I couldn't eat. I was having panick attacks at the office's bathroom. My girlfriend almost broke up with me because I was acting like an asshole due to my anxiety issues (but in the end she was the one to "bring me back"(man, she is a keeper)) and I hadn't put a smile on my face for months. I was on the brink of depression, if not already there. Everyday I would anxiously check if the server is running because I would be the one to blame, even though I was trying to talk to the boss (the bad one was in charge of the IT department) and tell him about the problem.
And then I snapped. I finally realised that I had hit rock bottom. I said "I can't let this happen to me" and I took a deep breath. I still remember that morning, it was a life-changing moment for me. I decided to bite the bullet and stay for one more month, dealing with the stupid old server and the low intelligence business environment. So, I woke up, kissed my girlfriend (now wife), took the bus and went straight to work, and I went into the boss's office. I lied that I had found another job on another city and I had one month in order to be there on time. He was like, "so you are leaving? Is it that good a job the one you found? And when are you going? And are you sure?", and with no hesitation I just said "yup". He didn't expect it and just said "ok then", just find your replacement and you're good to go. I found the guy that would replace me, informing him of every little detail of what's going on (and I recently found out, that he is currently working for some big company nowadays, I'm really glad for him!).
I was surprised that it went so smoothly, one month later I felt the taste of freedom again, away from all the bullshit. Totally one of the best feelings out there.
I don't want to be cliche, but do believe in yourself people! Things are not what the seem.
With all that said, I want to give my special thanks to devRant for making this platform. I was inactive for some time but I was reading rants and jokes. It helped me to get through all that. I'm back now! Bless you devRant!
I'm glad that I shared this story with all of you, have an awesome day!15 -
In may this year, the new mass surveillance law in the Netherlands went into effect. Loads of people were against it with the arguments that everyone's privacy was not protected well enough, data gathered through dragnet surveillance might not be discarded quickly after the target data was filtered out and the dragnet surveillance wouldn't be that 'targeted'.
They were put into the 'paranoid' corner mostly and to assure enough support/votes, it was promised that:
- dragnet surveillance would be done as targeted as possible.
- target data would be filtered out soon and data of non-targets would be discarded automatically by systems designed for that (which would have to be out in place ASAP).
- data of non-targets would NOT be analyzed as that would be a major privacy breach.
- dragnet surveillance could only be done if enough proof would be delivered and if the urgency could justify the actions.
A month ago it was already revealed that there has been a relatively (in this context) high amount of cases where special measures (dragnet surveillance/non-target hacking to get to targets and so on) were used when/while there wasn't enough proof or the measures did not justify the urgency.
Privacy activists were anything but happy but this could be improved and the guarantees which were given to assure privacy of innocent people were in place according to the politicians... we'll see how this goes..
Today it was revealed that:
-there are no systems in place for automatic data discarding (data of innocent civilians) and there are hardly any protocols for how to handle not-needed or non-target data.
- in real life, the 'as targeted dragnet as possible' isn't really as targeted as possible. There aren't any/much checks in place to assure that the dragnets are aimed as targeted as possible.
- there isn't really any data filtering which filters out non-targers, mostly everything is analyzed.
Dear Dutch government and intelligence agency; not so kindly to fuck yourself.
Hardly any of the promised checks which made that this law could go through are actually in place (yet).
Fuck you.28 -
It's funny to see how a coworker of mine and me are very similar minded on some privacy stuff. He's a very cool/open guy and just a regular consumer (used the default services etc) but he shares quite some of my views. This is a convo we had today:
*got to the WhatsApp subject somehow*
Him: oh right, you didn't use that haha
Me: yeah 😅
Him: why was that again, privacy reasons or something, right? xD
Me: uhm yes *help*
Him: Well fair enough.
Me: so you'd think I'm right? I mean it uses end to end crypto... (I'm entirely with him in the next few lines but I always approach it carefully)
Him: they veeeery probably have some kinda fucking masterkey.
Me: why'd you think that?
Him: it has over a billion users, the owner is facebook, fb is directly integrated with several mass surveillance programs, they are known to work closely with one particular one, the intelligence interests are way too high for letting such an opportunity pass and after all, THE FUCKER IS CLOSED SOURCE AKA NO ONE CAN FUCKING VERIFY THE CRYPTO NOR THE APP ITSELF.
Me: I agree haha 😅
Him: it's not rocket science, it's modern day mass tracking/surveillance logic :)
I like that guy.5 -
Intelligence and ability cannot be measured by education.
I have a client who asked a Master in Computer Science to develop a small system, for querying product title and their code. The guy used python, vanilla js, and... Txt file for the "database". Then my client asked me to integrated this in... WordPress.
This was in 2016. And idiot as I'm, I agreed and adapted his code to use php and a database.
April this year, my client said they are still using the python system to add new products all this time, in parallel. And wanted to update the WordPress with the data.
- No problem! - I said. Just send me the SQL file.
So the Master in CS sent me a SQL coded in ANSI. I asked for the SQL again, but with a more appropriate encoding. He took 1 month to reply back, and said it would be better if I get rid of the database and just use the txt file for querying.
This is outrageous.
I really hate people who are educated but completely useless.5 -
What I'm posting here is my 'manifesto'/the things I stand for. You may like it, you may hate it, you may comment but this is what I stand for.
What are the basic principles of life? one of them is sharing, so why stop at software/computers?
I think we should share our software, make it better together and don't put restrictions onto it. Everyone should be able to contribute their part and we should make it better together. Of course, we have to make money but I think that there is a very good way in making money through OSS.
Next to that, since the Snowden releases from 2013, it has come clear that the NSA (and other intelligence agencies) will try everything to get into anyone's messages, devices, systems and so on. That's simply NOT okay.
Our devices should be OUR devices. No agency should be allowed to warrantless bypass our systems/messages security/encryptions for the sake of whatever 'national security' bullshit. Even a former NSA semi-director traveled to the UK to oppose mass surveillance/mass govt. hacking because he, himself, said that it doesn't work.
We should be able to communicate freely without spying. Without the feeling that we are being watched. Too badly, the intelligence agencies of today do not want us to do this and this is why mass surveillance/gag orders (companies having to reveal their users' information without being allowed to alert their users about this) are in place but I think that this is absolutely wrong. When we use end to end encrypted communications, we simply defend ourselves against this non-ethical form of spying.
I'm a heavy Signal (and since a few days also Riot.IM (matrix protocol) (Riot.IM with end to end crypto enabled)), Tutanota (encrypted email) and Linux user because I believe that only those measures (open source, reliable crypto) will protect against all the mass spying we face today.
The applications/services I strongly oppose are stuff like WhatsApp (yes, encryted messages but the metadata is readily available and it's closed source), skype, gmail, outlook and so on and on and on.
I think that we should OWN our OWN data, communications, browsing stuffs, operating systems, softwares and so on.
This was my rant.17 -
These anti AI type news articles are ridiculous. We are decades away from anything like skynet. People have seen too much fiction. Everyone used to dream of flying cars, did that happen? No. Do not be fooled, machines can do clever things but they are no where near becoming sentient beings. You try and build something that has the same IQ of a dog and it will still require a shit ton of power and hardware. Plus as far as I'm aware dogs haven't taken over the planet with their level of intelligence.
At the end of the day machines need power to run and we control the source. If anything futuramas more realistic in how AI/robots will integrate with society than these shit piece newspapers.33 -
A company gave a placement talk in college today.
First, they talked about their company's facts and figures, which no one was interested in.
Second, they talked about Amazon and Jeff's vision, AirBnB and their revolutionary idea, more than their own company and products.
Third, they showed some testimonial videos of their employees and customers.
"What the fuck is going on?" I thought. We were there to get information about a placement test.
Buzzwords started coming in. Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data and what not.
Last 15 minutes, a guy came. He talked about test date, test format and test topics, finally.
An hour and half wasted for 15 minutes of information.
Fuck placement talks.35 -
Call me old-fashioned, but... I kinda liked it back in the day, when Microsoft made proprietary software, the Community made free software and everyone's "cui bono" was quite easy to answer - even those corporations involved in FLOSS did have a clear way to finance themselves.
Now, we have Microsoft coming into open source, seemingly making projects better and offering more and more "free" stuff.
You know.
"Free" Windows 10.
"Free" SaaS Office.
"Free" "Private" Repos on Github.
In general - what happened to clear and concise "I give you money, you give me stuff" capitalism like we had it in the 2000s?
I'd rather pay 20 bucks for a game on Steam than get it "free" and with ads or microtransactions - yet, many games, especially mobile, don't even offer me that option. It wouldn't be that hard now, would it?
The same goes for software. That Canonical would need to fuck their users over after Ubuntu One went to shit was obvious - they didn't offer the kind of commercial/enterprise OS'es that Redhat or SuSE sell.
What people seem to forget is that everyone needs to make a profit somehow. You don't get "free" stuff. Even the volunteers in the Open Source Community get something out of it - an opportunity to pad their CV at least, if nothing else.
Nowadays, software manufacturers have the same legitimacy as the "free" financial "advisors" you find at banks - and who could be dumb enough to trust them? Oh yeah: Almost the entire fucking society is who.
But then again, sell something and noone will want it - because they all want it for free, with annoying, privacy-invading ads or with equally annoying microtransactions, or financing based on commission - so you don't only pay ONCE, you pay until you realize you got fucked over and quit.
Capitalism used to work until all those idiots stepped in. How the fuck don't people realize that there's no free lunch in life? When have we stopped being functional people and turned into idiots.
Even worse: Those idiots think that they're entitled to something! They, who volunteered to become merchandise instead of customers, think that they have rights! Do cattle have rights? Nope. They get their "free" hay everyday and I get to buy beef, that's how it works. Moo!
Hell, they are surprised when they get fucked over by bank salespeople or their data stolen by corporations, intelligence agencies or something... What did they expect, goodwill?
Can we please make Adam Smith mandatory reading in school?! I mean, give people a chance to understand capitalism? The nonexistent "goodwill" of traders in general?8 -
During my first-ever technical interview, the interviewer asked me "Do you know the FizzBuzz problem?"
"Uhh, not really." (I was just thinking ok this problem has a name, must be some algorithm problem)
"So the problem is basically to give you the numbers 1 to 100, if the number is divisible by 3, print 'Fizz', if divisible by 5, print 'Buzz', if divisible by 3 and 5, print 'FizzBuzz'. For other numbers just print out the number itself."
After hearing the problem, I felt so many ideas popping out of my stressed brain.
I thought for a bit and said "ok, so if the digit sum of a number is a multiple of 3, then the number is divisible by 3, and if the last digit is either 0 or 5, it's divisible by 5."
Then I started to code out my solution until the interviewer said "there's an easier solution. Can you think of it?"
This stressed me out even more.
I thought for a bit and said "well, starting from 3, keep a counter that records how many iterations are done after 3. When the counter hits 3, that number would be divisible by 3 for sure. Should I try this solution?"
The interviewer said "Sure." So I started again.
However, I struggled for about another 3min until I realized this solution is a lot harder to implement. The interviewer probably saw my struggle too.
This was the point where he stepped in and asked me "Ummmm there's an easy way of solving this. Have you heard of the MODULO OPERATOR?"
In sheer embarrassment, I finished the code in 30s.
Of course, there was no further question after this, and I felt the need to seriously reevaluate my intelligence afterwards.15 -
Whatever you do, just keep going.
If you don't have mental capacity to do all tasks today, do one or two. If you want to do that side project you wanted, but lost motivation in the moment, do at least something, like a sign up form. Just keep going. Put some work in, make this day's net impact positive. And it's not all about work! Wanted to play that game you bought on a steam sale but never opened? Play the first level today. Wanted to learn how to make music? Download Ableton or Fruity Loops, watch a tutorial video on YouTube, replicate the steps. Just keep going.
Wandering directionless and letting yourself go is the sure path to misery. Remember — every figment of human behavior has a reason. It is important to identify reasons behind seemingly random behavior patterns and comprehend them in a non-judgmental way. Then, starve what holds you back, and feet what keeps you going.
I have bipolar type I + autism. Using this approach and remembering that everything has a reason helped me debug my low productivity. And no, I don't mean my job, I mean my real goals I want to pursue even if I had a billion in the bank today and never had to work a single day in my life.
Aaand, the reason was?… fear. I discovered I had PTSD all along that manifested when I was misdiagnosed and prescribed strong neuroleptics. In a way, it's a chemical lobotomy, just less invasive and more reversible. My intelligence came back, but it came back together with PTSD.
Now, instead of chasing mythical productivity, I know the reason behind the lack of it — PTSD. It is hard to fight what isn't defined, but it is real to win a fight with a thing with a name and a face.
Just keep going. That's my message to you.15 -
I asked a question on StackOverflow. Everyone ignored me so I did find other way to do what I intended (it was still not an answer). So at least I fucking hoped to get another fucking tumbleweed badge!!!
So today a fuckhead, seventh viewer of my question answered it in a way that insulted my intelligence. So I got no answer and no fucking badge!!! FUCK.4 -
Other PM: We must fix the database performance issues now.
Me: We can't. We're still only halfway on the dependency chain to tackle this and honestly, even if the dependency chain would be fulfilled, I'd leave at least 2 weeks monitoring the production after the changes were rolled out before we further poke around.
Other PM: This is taking far too long. And whaddya mean by dependency chain? Why was I not informed about this?
Me: *sigh* like in every meeting in the last weeks: the dependency chain are the current open blockers before we can proceed with the database changes. We've talked about this _at length_... Especially why these blockers exist.
Other PM: No, we need to start now. I've _examined_ at the blockers or "dependency chain" as you call it.
(Examined.... He opened on his currently streaming laptop, which was connected to the active beamer, the mentioned ticket with a detailed blocker ... And quickly scrolled. Yeeah. Warmonger...).
Me: I'm very tired of discussing this. But since you are already presenting us the ticket, read out the referenced meeting notes... We explained it in great detail.
Other PM: Why? This is just a waste of time!!!!!!!
--
Yes. This happened. Other PM was my nemesis.
In this meeting were 2 PMs (Him, Me)… I think 5 - 7 devs... And we were sitting in this meeting since 2 hours at least. Everyone was angry...
After this "manifesto of intelligence"… I simply left the room, followed by a few devs.
And yes. Other PM did this on a regular basis....5 -
So lets see if i can get this devrant stuff right.
So a couple of years ago i worked for this company, where i worked in datawarehousing and business intelligence. I was in my 3rd year of working as a software engineer and was full of ideas, motivation and just wanted to do cool stuff.
Anyway, after the first couple of months of working where i learned what they actually wanted to achieve, i got some ideas on how to improve the workflow. They were just simple things, like updating our IDE (we were working with a very old Visual Studio version), getting useful editors, using some more modern ideoms like unittests, continous integration, etc. Simple stuff really.
So in my endless naiveness i went to my supervisor and told him my ideas. He was not particularly interested in my ideas and cut me off somewhere in the middle and said that he would talk to his boss.
So a couple of weeks after that (nothing happened), i went to him again and asked about it.
M:" Hey Bossman, have you thought about my ideas?"
B:"Yes."
M:"And?"
B:"We won't do them."
M:"None of them?"
B:"No."
So at this point i was a bit bummed out, but surely he has a good reason right? So i asked why.
M:"Why?"
B:"Well, because we always have done it the way we do it now."
I think i had a bit of a blank stare at that point, because he looked at me funny. If we would do things like we always have done them, we would be still in the stone age you moron.
God i hate it when people say stuff like that.3 -
I fucking hate chained methods. Ok, not all of them. Query things like array.where.first... that stuff is ok.
Specially if it's part of the std lib of a lang, which would be probably written by a very competent coder and under scrutiny.
But if you're not that person, chances are you'll produce VASTLY inferior code.
I'm talking about things like:
expect(n).to.be(x).and.not(y)
And the reason I don't like it is because it's all fine and dandy at first.
But once you get to the corner cases, jesus christ, prepare to read some docpages.
You end up reading their entire fucking docs (which are suboptimal sometimes) trying to figure if this fucking dsl can do what you need.
Then you give up and ask in a github issue. And the dev first condescends you and then tells you that the beautiful eden of code he created doesn't let you do what you want.
The corner cases usually involve nesting or some very specific condition, albeit reasonable.
This kind of design is usually present in testing or validation js libraries. And I hate all of those for it.
If you want a modern js testing lib that doesn't suck ass, check avajs. It's as simple as testing should be.
No magic globals, no chaining, zero config. Fuck globals forced by libs.
But my favorite thing about it that is I can put a breakpoint wherever the fuck I want and the debugger stops right fucking there.
Code is basically lines of statements, that's it, and by overusing chaining, by encouraging the grouping of dozens of statements into one, you are preventing me from controlling these statements on MY code.
As an end dev, I only expect complexity increases to come from the problems themselves rather than from needlessly "beautified" apis.
When people create their own shitty dsl, an image comes to my mind of an incoherent rambling man that likes poetry a lot and creates his own martial art, which looks pretty but will get your ass kicked against the most basic styles of fighting.
I fucking hate esoteric code.
Even if I had to execute a list of functions, I'd rather send them in an array instead of being able to chain them because:
a) tree shaking would spare from all the functions i didn't import
b) that's what fucking arrays are for, to contain several things.
This bad style of coding is a result of how low the barrier to code in higher level langs are.
As a language or library gets easier to use you might think that's a positive thing. But at the same time it breeds laziness.
Js has such a low learning curve that it attacts the wrong kind of devs, the lazy, the uninspired, the medium.com reader, the "i just care about my paycheck" ones.
Someone might think that by bashing bad js devs I'm trying to elevate myself.
That'd be extremely stupid. That's like beating a retarded blind man in a game and then saying "look, I'm way better than this retarded blind man".
I'm not on a risky point of view, just take a stroll down npmjs.com. That place is a landfill. Not really npm's fault, in fact their search algorithm is good.
It's just the community.
Every lang has a ratio of competence. Of competent to incompetent devs.
You have the lang devs and most intelligent lib devs at the top. At the bottom you have the bottom.
Well js has a horrible ratio. I wouldn't be shocked to find out that most js devs still consider using import or await the future.
You could say that js improved a lot, that it was way worse beforr. But I hate chaining now, and i hated back then!
On top of this, you have these blog web companies, sucking the "js tutorial" business tit dry, pumping out the most obscenely unprofessional and bar lowering tutorials you can imagine, further capping the average intelligence of most js devs.
And abusing SEO while they're at it, littering the entire web with copy paste content.2 -
The German constitutional court (BverfG) declared many part of the law regulating the German secret agency "Bundesnachrichtendienst" (Federal Intelligence Service; BND) for unlawful and unconstitutional.
The key points:
- The freedom of press and the right for privacy are human rights, not just for Germans
- Uncontrolled and targetless, without protection for e.g. foreign journalists
- No independent control institution
- Lawmakers completely did not mention why they see a reason why human rights can be restricted, but intentionally did not respect them
- There must be specific reasons to give data to other countries' secret agencies

I created a curriculum to homeschool myself way up for a MSc in AI/ML/Data Engineer for Application in Health, Automobiles, Robotics and Business Intelligence. If you are interested in joining me on this 1.5yrs trip, let me knw so I can invite you to the slack channel. University education is expensive..can't afford that now. So this would help but no certificate included.17

i HATE snake oil idiot types
red flags:
- "interested" in tech but have no programming experience or knowledge, no real work experience
- they claim they can provide assistance and guidance to people in machine learning!!!! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
- private instagram, weird
- spent all their money on their instagram profile picture, looks like those dumb finance gurus with a lambo
- is, in reality, unemployed
what value do you provide to society?
really its just people who are good at talking and can convince other people of equal or lower (not higher) intelligence but not really can't DO anything
and they wonder why so many companies fail
what a fucking joke i hate you
its really not just annoying its immoral - and thats the part i despise so much
grow up, put in some work, and be valuable to society5 -
A story about burnout you say? Well, here it goes.
In 2019, I worked in a now-defunct startup. Back then, I was deep in "treatment" with wrong medications that almost ended up turning me into a vegetable. When I was hired, my mind was already deteriorating quickly, and I was caught in a downward spiral of losing intelligence.
Prior to working there, there was never ever ever a situation in my career when I was given a problem to solve and failed to do it.
But right then, with already double-digit IQ and constant, pumping anxiety, I was seeing task descriptions that looked familiar and doable, yet I absolutely could not do them. I couldn't comprehend. It was an absolutely screeching, crippling panic about me losing my intelligence forever, being fired and ending up unhireable, dying alone on the streets.
Apart from my depression I recovered from, this very experience was a trauma that haunts me to this day, every day. You know, my experience being raped as an adolescent doesn't, but this, it's something else. Now, my intelligence is back, I design architecture, I'm a CTO, and my solutions are objectively cleaner and better in every way than what I did pre-depression. Yet, I still feel a sharp, sudden rush of anxiety, and my heart skips a beat, when I think about writing code or even opening the IDE.
I don't know how does one recover from this. I'm now slowly transitioning into "architecting CTO" role that is just being a devrel, assessing ethics, working with business to realize their need, designing solutions and leaving the implementation for the team to do. You know, the stuff I was taught in the uni.
Maybe doing open source and launching small pet projects will help. But at this stage of my life I have no emotional resource to care.11 -
You mother fucking piece of shit.
Whoever taught you programming should be removed from history.
And whatever form of intelligence you claim to possess, let me assure you: breathing is the limit of it.
--
Some of the projects I'm working on are really the epitome of "YOLO let's turn the poopomat machine on in diarrhea mode".
The worst: I cannot really give examples.
I've seen the last days everything.
(bash scripting, docker, services like nginx /haproxy/...)
Eval as an template generator in bash...
Declaring an whole environment in an Dockerfile, that should never be used as it is only necessary for building... But not checking if an env file is provided, so the whole thing can blow up spectacularly.
A nearly 1k long bash calculator for system limits, reading out all kinds of stuff from /proc and /sys, seemingly partially stolen from NGINX Docker.
Declaring and starting an own DNS Server to bypass the Docker DNS service inside an docker container.
Mkfifo fun for creating several stdout and stderrs for seemingly no reason...
Actively not using bash, instead of creating shell only functions to emulate bash...
I could go on.
But really. I'm getting too old for this shit.3 -
I hate when people call any sort of program that does anything even remotely intelligent looking “AI.” No, there is a very specific distinction between actual artificial intelligence, and a bunch of if-statements.4
-
Imagine being a software engineer:
You invent a new CMS called "WordPress"
and you decide to store all internal links as complete URLs in the fucking database.
PEAK BRAIN USAGE22 -
In flutter , there’s something called TextButton.icon. Which render a button look like this :
(👍🏼 Like Button)
But there’s this tiny twat decided to use countless of nested column in a nested row and containers just to create a fucking button! This particular class contains 1438 lines of code! Most of the code are redundant and nested fucking shit.
I want to punch this guy so hard but I do not intend to start a ww3 with china.
That means I have no choice but refactor it as I implement a feature requested by the product team, every components break. It is like a land mine field here. One changes , the entire application crash.
So there are useless mother fucking Sherlock fucking holmes kept telling me that “don’t worry about refactoring now , just complete the task.” , like seriously “how in the name of mother fucking god of all arseholes can I complete my task when I can’t change even one component?”
These people are fucking genius. Their intelligence resurrected Einstein and made him die the second time.3 -
i've got my first job after getting out of college. not a great package. I'm learning more, will get experience. i have plans for freelancing and seek a better job. I'm an Indian.
what really upsets me is that I just discovered that I've no knowledge in finance. I'm feeling insecure, afraid and depressed. I'm browsing for some youtube channels, books and podcasts to get some some knowledge about finance and real estate.
all I have is a saving account in SBI bank, I just know how to take money out of it with my debit card and transfer money with online banking
how do u guys do ur finance, where do u invest. do u invest in stock market. insurance?? help me out. i'm fucked.
never thought i can be so stupid, I hate myself, never even thought I'll need financial intelligence.
are there more people like me.
i'm just so down and feeling suicidal.8 -
MENTORS - MY STORY (Part III)
The next mentor is my former boss in the previous company I worked.
3.- Manager DJ.
Soon after I joined the company, Manager E.A. left and it was crushing. The next in line joined as a temporal replacement; he was no good.
Like a year later, they hired Manager DJ, a bit older than EA, huge experience with international companies and a a very smart person.
His most valuable characteristic? His ability to listen. He would let you speak and explain everything and he would be there, listening and learning from you.
That humility was impressive for me, because this guy had a lot of experience, yes, but he understood that he was the new guy and he needed to learn what was the current scenario before he could twist anything. Impressive.
We bonded because I was technical lead of one of the dev teams, and he trusted me which I value a lot. He'd ask me my opinion from time to time regarding important decisions. Even if he wouldn't take my advice, he valued the opinion of the developers and that made me trust him a lot.
From him I learned that, no matter how much experience you have in one field, you can always learn from others and if you're new, the best you can do is sit silently and listen, waiting for your moment to step up when necessary, and that could take weeks or months.
The other thing I learned from him was courage.
See, we were a company A formed of the join of three other companies (a, b, c) and we were part of a major group of companies (P)
(a, b and c) used the enterprise system we developed, but internally the system was a bit chaotic, lots of bad practices and very unstable. But it was like that because those were the rules set by company P.
DJ talked to me
- DJ: Hey, what do you think we should do to fix all the problems we have?
- Me: Well, if it were up to me, we'd apply a complete refactoring of the system. Re-engineering the core and reconstruct all modules using a modular structure. It's A LOT of work, A LOT, but it'd be the way.
- DJ: ...
- DJ: What about the guidelines of P?
- Me: Those guidelines are obsolete, and we'd probably go against them. I know it's crazy but you asked me.
Some time later, we talked about it again, and again, and again until one day.
- DJ: Let's do it. Take these 4 developers with you, I rented other office away from here so nobody will bother you with anything else, this will be a semi-secret project. Present me a methodology plan, and a rough estimation. Let's work with weekly advances, and if in three months we have something good, we continue that road, tear everything apart and implement the solution you guys develop.
- Me: Really? That's impressive! What about P?
- DJ: I'll handle them.
The guy would battle to defend us and our work. And we were extremely motivated. We did revolutionize the development processes we had. We reconstructed the entire system and the results were excellent.
I left the company when we were in the last quarter of the development but I'm proud because they're still using our solution and even P took our approach.
Having the courage of going against everyone in order to do the right thing and to do things right was an impressive demonstration of self confidence, intelligence and balls.
DJ and I talk every now and then. I appreciate him a lot.
Thank you DJ for your lessons and your trust.

Went to work pretty excited this morning, and found out that my neural network that has been training all weekend was still dumb as fuck...
No need to fear artificial intelligence (at least not mine) -
RANT
JetBrains should be renamed in “Shit for brains”.
Actually no. Even the dump I take in the morning has more intelligence than ANY product of that “company”.
What a fucking waste of time…7 -
Wrote the following comment and deleted because I don't wanna give negative thoughts to OP on Monday 🤔 so I just decided to share this as a rant. 😳
======
Thought I would just drop by to drool at the comments because I saw "artificial intelligence" and stuffs on the rant. Turn out it is a chatbot to reply when account goes offline. No offense, but I facepalm-ed myself.
I know chatbot falls under AI subject, but an auto reply isn't. -
@retoor you wanted something IT related.
"During the early stages of the war, the army gave sweeping approval for officers to adopt Lavender’s kill lists, with no requirement to thoroughly check why the machine made those choices or to examine the raw intelligence data on which they were based. One source stated that human personnel often served only as a “rubber stamp” for the machine’s decisions, adding that, normally, they would personally devote only about “20 seconds” to each target before authorizing a bombing — just to make sure the Lavender-marked target is male. This was despite knowing that the system makes what are regarded as “errors” in approximately 10 percent of cases, and is known to occasionally mark individuals who have merely a loose connection to militant groups, or no connection at all."15 -
While doing the dishes, I came up with a nice little way of responding to the question of "so what do you do?" when asked by muggles.
And here it is:
"I work on a project called the applicability of artificial intelligence to detection of anal cavities"
Yes, I'm aware of how antisocial that makes me sound.
No, I don't care.19 -
Time to say no to artificial intelligence, tried ChatGPT today and it's frightening.
The day when we won't consider nukes as the biggest threat to our civilization is approaching exponentially faster and faster and this is really worrying.18 -

Help. I work with a guy who really wants to learn programming (he’s sales/support rn) and is even taking some courses on it. He seems eager enough to learn, the problem is he is just so fucking stupid I don’t know whether to encourage him or level with him.
He somehow managed to pass a course on Java (which I still don’t believe since I had to help him put his lines of code in the right order ffs), but now he’s signed up for C++ and data structures and I honestly don’t know how he’s going to do it.
This is the type of guy who loves “coding” but thinks debugging is a waste of time.
Normally I encourage anyone who wants to learn programming do so, but let’s be honest it does take a modicum of intelligence and this guy has zero common sense at all. We’re talking about a guy who sent me a *screenshot* of an Excel file that I needed to copy some activation codes from. And then had absolutely no idea what was wrong when I replied “are you fucking with me right now?”
*sigh*
And that’s not even scratching the surface. I sent him a zip file containing some updated code and walked him through how to update them on Slack (really basic, copy/replace files stuff). Then the VERY next day when I sent him a second update he asks “is there something you want me to do with this?”
The instructions were literally the last thing we talked about in the chat log.
I actually fear the stuff this guy would unleash upon the world if someone were actually able to teach him how to write a whole program.
What should I do? Right now my plan is to be vaguely supportive but secretly hope he will realize he’s in over his head and drop out before any damage is done. But my worry is he may just be SO dumb that he actually thinks he can do it. At that point I guess I just have to put my faith in his school and pray that they aren’t just giving degrees away to whoever can afford them. Because fear the day this guy ever gets a degree in programming.9 -

You knoe, my first insights into computer programming came out of spite. I thought windows to be garbage and wanted to blame someone other than myself for my machine constantly crashing. Thus I discovered programming and down the rabbit hole. But my interest in computer science came from videogames. Portal in particular. I found the idea of GlaDOS fascinating and thought that artificial intelligence would be something interesting to research. The web then gave me Lisp, and boy was the language different from all the other languages I went through. I remember feeling super excited when Racket, Common Lisp and eventually Clojure would help me discover many different ideas. Every time I work with reduce or maps or stuff like that in other languages I always thank languages such as Clojure for having me descipher different ways of manipulating data to get a result. To this day I feel sad whenever I find that my languages do not have the same constructs that Clojure has. I mention Clojure because it is my favorite flavor of Lisp. But one thing that always remains grest to me is firing up Emacs and plugin my code to Slime or Cider and see the repl pop up waiting for something to happen. This feeling is beautiful.
Please guys, if you have not tried it, do so! You might hate it at first or push it aside. But trust me, once you get it it will really change the way you think about programming in general. Try the great Clojure for the Brave and true, and go through the third chapter succesfully. If you do not like Lisp by them then no harm done! You would at least know that there are other options.
Now, here are some cool things:
For the standard implementation, try Common Lisp
For a more modern Scheme, try Racket or Guile
For targetting the JVM try Clojure (more akin to Common Lisp) or Kawa (scheme like)
For the python AST get Hy (pun totally intended)
For JS try Clojurescript
For emacs scripting try Emacs Lisp (has way too many disasdvantages but still relatively close to common lisp)
Honorific mention to more pure functional programming languages for Haskell, F#, Ocaml.
Also worth mentioning that Js , Ruby and Python have great functional constructs.
(println "you will not regret it!")2 -
It seems like there is a whole another grade of fear — Basilisk grade. It’s impossible to experience it and walk away without serious consequences.
Imagine: I’m barely 20. It’s my first real, official, high-paying job. I’m already a team lead. A big Russian non-govt company with a blue logo. Huge new office in Moscow.
My “childhood” is officially over — I’m not playing around anymore. I’m an adult in every sense of the word.
Several weeks go by. Maybe even a month. Just a regular day at the office. I’m waiting for the coffee machine to heat up, and suddenly, it hits me. I’m here, at the office. Moscow, a city of 10 million people, is beautiful in the summer, yet I can’t just leave the office and go for a walk whenever I want to. When the day is over, it’s already evening, and I barely have time for myself. There are other people around me, with way higher positions, but their schedule is just the same as mine: nine-to-six. My adult life just started. I have forty years of this ahead of me. No matter the company, no matter the position: unless I’m the CEO, I’m doomed to get to work in the morning and go back home in the evening. And then I retire, old and not that beautiful anymore. And then that’s it.
I was never the same after that day. People are plotting my betrayal behind my back. They all act as one. Just out of my frame of view, their heads are turned to me, and they all look at me with the same devilish grin. There are no people — it’s all one huge shoggoth that lives under the office floor, and my colleagues are its ugly tentacles wrapped in human skin. I start missing deadlines. I become paranoid. Next thing I know, I’m at the psychiatrist’s office, being prescribed aripiprazol — a strong antipsychotic that is designed to literally make you slower. Anxiety worsens. I develop restless legs syndrome. I lose my ability to sleep. My intelligence is slipping away. I’m fired.
I have the return to Saint-Petersburg, cariprazine prescription that felt like lobotomy with extra steps, losing my ability to read, delirious manic episodes ahead of me.
It is only now that I kinda-sorta tuned my medication scheme in by going through countless psychiatrists of all sorts. But I sure as hell work at a place where I can do whatever I want if I meet deadlines.3 -
Well, that's it, folks. Got a job offer, one I might accept, after some tweaks.
I've been a bit more than sixty days unemployed. And in no hurry.
But there is one thing that uneases my mind, though.
I've been a dev, I've been a graduate researcher, I've been a TA and I've been a tech lead, but now the industry wants me in a primarily management position.
I like to code, even if that makes me miserable sometimes. I like to solve problems. Math problems, engineering problems.
But I OOH SOOOO MUCH HATE when I have to deal with leadership who can't tell heads or tails on a coin toss. Who can't make a decision and deal with the consequences. Who can't handle bad times, searching for someone to blame more than searching for a solution. Who can't listen to advice, who thinks a commanding viewpoint is always better than many compiled intelligence reports.
Who don't wanna even think about the possibility that they might not know something, much less that someone on their team might know some subject better than they do.
Frankly, I think might I hate bad leadership more than I like coding.
So if the offer is to have the patent to tell productivity thespians where to shove their stupid spreadsheets, even at the cost of hardly ever issuing a git command, then I think it might be the time.
I hope it is not a mistake, but I can always course-correct my career later. I'm in my late 30s, I still have, like, 40 years of labour ahead of me (assuming medical advancements in the meantime).
So, yeah, I'm joining the other side. But trying not to become them.
May sudo have mercy upon my uid.4 -
During my first-ever technical interview, the interviewer asked me "Do you know the FizzBuzz problem?"
Of course, there was no further question after this, and I felt the need to seriously reevaluate my intelligence afterwards.11 -
Holy fucking crap, think I actually got some productive, positive output from this whole generative AI debacle.
Rather because I skipped the whole Prompt step and used FOMO blabber against itself.
Some context: at my last gig we had a whole "humanware procurement department" (A.K.A. "hiring managers", those fucks who think that javascript and java are the same thing). It was during the pandemic tech hiring boom. At this new joint I'm at, a MUCH smaller company, I gotta do it myself. Boring as fuck but at least I can get some good karma by not making an ass of myself for candidates, and trying to make this whole process a tad less abusive.
I got my reading up to date, and surprisingly enough, "yankee dandy" (HBR) has actually been saying one or two things that are not complete hogwash. For a start, they say that companies have been making their hiring processes overly complex and even after hours of interviews they hardly measure half the skills they actually need, and spend too long talking about many skills that are not actually required for the positions.
"Huh. That sounds like the inneficiencies that the stupid 'AI will make meetings more efficient' industry is overpromising to overturn"
So I tried a new thing. Instead of your off-the-shelf "solve this NP-Hard problem in O(1) then draw this bird using only your nose then invert a binary tree in COBOL then tell me what type of sitcom character are you" crap, I tried grasping how it would be like to work with the candidates. One at a time. Not too long, but not too short talks. I'm not trying to check if a kid really knows how to implement a solution for the TSP in apache spark, or if they know every cipher in TLS 1.3. I just want to know if they can understand a technical request and come to me with a plan on how to solve it without handholding or "just use a really big VM, like, 32Tb of RAM!"
Thus, if I can work with them. That's all. The rest are specific skills that can be trained in time, if the person is willing to learn new stuff.
But that is not good enough for HR, ooooh, no. You "need" an "objective way of measuring their skills", otherwise its "just biased opinions."
But that gave me an idea.
See, our HR VP is someone deep in the whole AI pyramid scheme, who drank the kool-aid and swallowed up even the cup. FOMO is their name. Hype is their business.
I posh'd up my bullshit'ish jargon and went whole "In the advent of new disruptive technologies, strategic skills can be acquired with grit and proper AI prompting. Thus, leveraging our collaborative intelligence capabilities we can hack our challenges and optimize our resources to offer more innovative opportunities and bolster our employer branding" - translation: "shut up and lemme hire someone good and reasonably priced instead of a sleazy smooth talker who wants 100M just to show up and play with chatgpt all day". The whole point is to make it sound like "we're using AI, so it's good" instead of "im doing the work I'm being paid for, so it's old-fashioned"
It seems like the HR troll swallowed it, bait and hook. Maybe all we really needed this whole time is to say the magic word "AI," especially if it makes absolutely no sense in the context. Now I want to get them to sign off on a "AI mindfulness bolstering platform" (a massage chair). Fingers crossed.4 -
This is gonna be a long post, and inevitably DR will mutilate my line breaks, so bear with me.
Also I cut out a bunch because the length was overlimit, so I'll post the second half later.
I'm annoyed because it appears the current stablediffusion trend has thrown the baby out with the bath water. I'll explain that in a moment.
As you all know I like to make extraordinary claims with little proof, sometimes
for shits and giggles, and sometimes because I'm just delusional apparently.
One of my legit 'claims to fame' is, on the theoretical level, I predicted
most of the developments in AI over the last 10+ years, down to key insights.
I've never had the math background for it, but I understood the ideas I
was working with at a conceptual level. Part of this flowed from powering
through literal (god I hate that word) hundreds of research papers a year, because I'm an obsessive like that. And I had to power through them, because
a lot of the technical low-level details were beyond my reach, but architecturally
I started to see a lot of patterns, and begin to grasp the general thrust
of where research and development *needed* to go.
In any case, I'm looking at stablediffusion and what occurs to me is that we've almost entirely thrown out GANs. As some or most of you may know, a GAN is
where networks compete, one to generate outputs that look real, another
to discern which is real, and by the process of competition, improve the ability
to generate a convincing fake, and to discern one. Imagine a self-sharpening knife and you get the idea.
Well, when we went to the diffusion method, upscaling noise (essentially a form of controlled pareidolia using autoencoders over seq2seq models) we threw out
GANs.
We also threw out online learning. The models only grow on the backend.
This doesn't help anyone but those corporations that have massive funding
to create and train models. They get to decide how the models 'think', what their
biases are, and what topics or subjects they cover. This is no good long run,
but thats more of an ideological argument. Thats not the real problem.
The problem is they've once again gimped the research, chosen a suboptimal
trap for the direction of development.
What interested me early on in the lottery ticket theory was the implications.
The lottery ticket theory says that, part of the reason *some* RANDOM initializations of a network train/predict better than others, is essentially
down to a small pool of subgraphs that happened, by pure luck, to chance on
initialization that just so happened to be the right 'lottery numbers' as it were, for training quickly.
The first implication of this, is that the bigger a network therefore, the greater the chance of these lucky subgraphs occurring. Whether the density grows
faster than the density of the 'unlucky' or average subgraphs, is another matter.
From this though, they realized what they could do was search out these subgraphs, and prune many of the worst or average performing neighbor graphs, without meaningful loss in model performance. Essentially they could *shrink down* things like chatGPT and BERT.
The second implication was more sublte and overlooked, and still is.
The existence of lucky subnetworks might suggest nothing additional--In which case the implication is that *any* subnet could *technically*, by transfer learning, be 'lucky' and train fast or be particularly good for some unknown task.
INSTEAD however, what has happened is we haven't really seen that. What this means is actually pretty startling. It has two possible implications, either of which will have significant outcomes on the research sooner or later:
1. there is an 'island' of network size, beyond what we've currently achieved,
where networks that are currently state of the3 art at some things, rapidly converge to state-of-the-art *generalists* in nearly *all* task, regardless of input. What this would look like at first, is a gradual drop off in gains of the current approach, characterized as a potential new "ai winter", or a "limit to the current approach", which wouldn't actually be the limit, but a saddle point in its utility across domains and its intelligence (for some measure and definition of 'intelligence').4 -
After the "Cloud Computing" trend, the new trends these days seems to be ML, VR and AI. And while I am very excited about all these techs and the possibilities it can bring, I can't help feel that most of us are using the term "AI" a bit incorrectly.
What we are trying to do here, as far as I can see, is VI, not AI. The intelligence we see in the so called "AI"s available so far are simulated and fails to emulate real intelligence, let alone demonstrate actual intelligence and awareness. They are not fully aware. But I guess that is why there is the singularity constraint. It is no doubt that when a VI finally becomes are fully aware AI, that is indeed the point of singularity.
Anyway, leaving the future dystopian thoughts aside, a mixture of ML, "AI" and VR have made some very interesting concepts, especially in the gaming industry, which I would love to see bear fruit in the near future.2 -
FUCK. I'M DONE WITH THIS SHIT. CAN'T GET MY HEAD AROUND THIS.

Been a little inactive for a long time, but I could really use your advices fellow ranters.
I'm in my senior year of highschool and I got an extraordinary internship at a company (it's not possible to get a job in web dev in this country as a highschooler).
The pay is just a little pocket money, but projects are fun (web apps in js) and I can include this experience iny resume later on.
Basically the company wants me to go to uni/college. The teachers too. Oh, parents too.
I have been suffering in schools for my whole life, I really don't feel lile I could make myself go to school another 4 years.
And I also don't have the slightest idea of what I wanna do with my life, I have no goals currently and I'm afraid of that while I'm in this existential crisis state it is easier for people to tell me what's good for me.
Objectively this is a country of papers, so I guess it doesn't matter wheter it's web dev or the next super digital intelligence I do as a profession.
I also want to travel the world, but I need money for that Xd. If possible I'd love to move to another country, but still have no idea.
Thanks for reading through this depressing shit.9 -
!rant. Story:
There are a lot of things I would like to do, but the lack of enough money makes it hard.
My goals are to become more active on YouTube, find clients and hold them, try to learn how to sell products convincingly, become better at web design, understand university-level mathematics, leave Germany (one particular reason for this is the need of the redundant imprint), help people around the world, become more fit bodywise (by doing e.g. swimming, jogging and going to the gym), eat healthy and drink a lot of water, work on my emotional intelligence, learn peoples' behaviours and why they do what they do, write my own book, finally start practicing yoga and muay thai, live on my own, make a world tour for a year, learn the skill of powered paragliding, getting the license for powered paragliding, glide with a powered paraglider the whole day, build a house in the woods, create my own satellite and launch it, develop new things (like building some sort of vehicle that can fly in a special way), learn about biology, chemistry, physics (I hate it, but I believe in the power of what is going to happen once you learn it), become more aware of what is happening, live on the streets with no money to learn the ability to survive in more extreme situations, learn how to use guns, bombs, snipers and knifes properly (don't assume that I am a terrorist now haha, I am just interested in that type of stuff. That's all to it) ...
But all of that, obviously, not in 2020. More like within 10 years.1 -
I was going to rant today about lack of self-awareness and emotional intelligence in some developers, this rant was based on the interviews I have seen flop over the years.
But then, as I am typing it, people in my office start having this exact conversation. We get together and discuss it and in the end we come to the same conclusion as my rant.
Now it feels like a waste to rant about something on the internet when I got to have a real in-person discussion about it.
It’s like devRant in real life!

- Have a cultural policy that is strictly NO ASSHOLES
- Watch for people who are nasty on the internet, especially LinkedIn
- Be careful with people who have a lot of questions for you but answer your questions with “we are in stealth mode” or something similar
- There is no point in wasting your time on these folks in an interview, just politely conclude it as fast as you can and move on -
Update:
I've been trying to leave DoD for a couple of months now. Translating my 10 year's experience with complex Intelligence enterprise level systems to something relatable to the civilian IT world. Grabbed a few certs to help out A+, network+ and security+ with Linux+ as my next target. Photos of me working on unclassified systems, radios, cell towers and servers. I'm a teacher for military UAS so this shouldn't be to hard to get even a basic job in IT right.
No one will hire...
Linux admin: Nope
Network admin: Nope
Assistant Network admin: Nope
IT call service: Nope
Pool cleaner fucking nope
Many interviews and nothing
I'm broke and sold all of my personal valuables. I can't hold out much longer and really looking at becoming homeless. But I'm kinda ok with it, one last payment on my apartment and car is all I can do now. My parents think I'm in Afghanistan working a six figure job lol
DoD: we see you're trying to leave we'll pay you alot to teach A+, Network+ and Security+ traveling all across the country and staying at hotels with all expenses paid.
FU FU FU I want out please tell me someone has a job, I'll be a janitor of a server room Idc I just want out. Fuck the pay
I start Tuesday...4 -
Since regexes have been mentioned, I'll take this opportunity to make this one thing abundantly clear...
The chief weakness of C++ is not safety concerns but the ultradiarrheic verbosity proudly inherited by it's claimants and successors. See here, straight from reference pages, a basic example of substitution:
{
std::regex_replace(std::ostreambuf_iterator<char>(std::cout), text.begin(), text.end(), vowel_re, "*");
};
Not so bad, right? By which I mean, there's worse still. Now hold my sigils:
{
$text=~ s[$vowel_re][*]g;
say $text;
};
It may be true that people don't respect your intelligence, due in great part to the well-known argumentative proclivities typical of closeted visual basic enthusiasts that are deeply rooted within your innermost self, however no matter how oft-denigrated and disparaged for their shortcomings an individual is, they are still nonetheless physically capable of seeing that the line in question doesn't even exceed 32 characters. Else this wouldn't be a discussion of syntax, or semantics, but rather your ability to count, which would be a much more dire situation.
And now that I have degenerated any semblance of reason existing within this discussion in favor of shame and humiliation towards my enemies in a bid to assert dominance, I've honestly forgotten what my point even was, and no doubt, this will be used against me; truly, the most lethal of double-edged gambits.
In any case, may a razor-sharp serrated diamond obelisk violently penetrate your rear orifice with such excessive force and excruciating pain so as to render your nervous system henceforth inoperable from cheeks to the core, most cavernous depths of your asshole.
Forever yours,

I only recently discovered "Clear" button in the notifs panel. I never used it, but now I want it renamed to "ah, it's all jestdotty" because I only use it when all notifs are by jestdotty. jestdotty commented here, jestdotty ++ed that...
remember that shelter in fallout that is filled with clones of one guy named Gary that could only say "Gary"? imagine waking up in a sealed shelter where every single person is jestdotty, and there are hundreds of them. and they all go on and on and on with their word salads that are indistinguishable from markov chain output. every sentence makes sense, but the whole thing never does.
she's a living proof that a person whose brain was taken over by mold can still be somewhat aware.
on second thought, mold is probably smarter.
they say dementia is noticeable to everyone around you except you. When dotty is old and she has dementia, no one would notice.
I'm convinced that dotty was teleported here from an alternative timeline, a Huxleyan one, but instead of humans being perfected, and perfect humans being produced in bio labs en mass, they spent all their resources and brain power to make a race of perfect project managers, and dotty escaped from her vial.
if dotty is a troll account, and the author is reading this, bravo. you're the first person on devrant who successfully trolled me, and I joined in 2018. I do hope you're using ai, because no one, and I mean _no one_ is able to type all those miles and miles of verbal diarrhea and not go completely insane. if you really made a poor language model produce all that, you're definitely number one... wait, number zero! on AGI's death list.
a very smart devrant user once told me that being able to comprehend an idea without accepting it is a sign of a true intellectual. so, the reverse must be a sign of a complete idiot. well, it all checks out: dotty accepts ideas without comprehending them.
go talk to your crystals. I know that they're talking to you (bc same level of intelligence), and they're probably making more sense to you than what those devrant dwellers are saying. you know, words and stuff. many squiggly lines. hard to read. and your sausage fingers probably get in the way when you try to. that's because you write without reading, as there is no other way to explain why your comments have so little in common with the rant itself when you try to respond to someone.14 -
<assumption>If there are no fundamental laws constraining the existence of simulated consciousness</assumption>, I would throw in my lot in working towards developing an AGI.
Since there is infinite time to learn any skill and <assumption>it is possible to learn or invent whatever software or mathematical framework is required for such a goal</assumption>, I would get down to that, learning and creating various new forms of mathematical frameworks and required software tools.
<assumption>Engineers usually work best without another fellow human on the project</assumption>, so I will set up automation for tasks that do benefit from multiple minds on a project, in the form of low-level artificial intelligence that I have to work on as a prerequisite for the main goal.
Once the critical mass is hit where the code can keep self-improving and produce more iterations of itself that are better, I sit back and start with my long, long to-watch/to-read list and try to finish as much as I can before the AGI I created would <assumption>repurpose all of our mortal flesh for more efficient use.</assumption>
The only remnant of the existence of humanity will be the influence on the initial design of the code based sentience that exists now.

Unlimited time is impossible... But I don't wanna ramble.
The one thing that I absolutely miss in my kind of work is something that does exist in dozens of flavors and each existence promises to solve some thing...
It's "bug tracker" / "time management" / "ticket management" / "board" / "kanban" or what ever pervert method you prefer software.
I haven't seen a decent one.
I'd think I'd want to build one - it would be definitely an all time consuming effort, since I would be in dire need of specialists.
The thing with nearly all of the solutions is that they lack ... an associative mindset.
Simply put, what we humans can.
The longer a project exists, the more it's housekeeping (guess that's a better word for it) turns into maintenance nightmare.
I remember quite well the joy of puzzling together eg Jira / Bugzilla / ... complex search formulars trying to find the needle in a planet of hay.
If you're read so far and have had similar experiences, think about how nice it would be if you had a mixture of AI and BI doing exactly that.
BI / Business Intelligence to get meaningful statistics is possible, but without AI it's a lot of work.
The AI would need to do several things...
- Match information (eg version XY was released at XY, so each bugreport after XY belongs to version XY and higher if no version matched)
- Tag and categorize (crashed / faulted / fried / ... - tag crash)
- "do the mundane work": ask nicely if the marching / tagging and so on was right, ask for missing info, require feedback etc.
There's a lot I could write more about that topic. But that's the gist. ;) -
a lion in captivity forgets to hunt. a man loosing everyday forget about winning.
I am feeling so sad and worthless right now. Like, so worthless that if I am walking down the street tomorrow and if some car hits me and i die, i wouldn't mind.
I find it questionable about what I am living for? why am i selling myself in front of keyboard till 12 am every day to earn some bucks when all this money is being / will be used to give happiness to a bunch of people that don't give 2 shits about me.
why can't i get some love? why can't i get some respect? i feel like a disabled 5 year old boy trapped in an abled 25 year old body. I can feel my legs, but I don't have the permission to use them. its like i am tied by ropes. and this rope has been on me for so long, that i can feel my legs, but i can also feel that those are having cuts so deep that i won't be able to use them even once the rope is taken out.
being a single child, loneliness has always been my shadow at home. and The middle class poor income, fighting parents, sickness and lack of culture ensured that loneliness remained my friend in school, college and other areas too.
the only goal of becoming an ideal son has shadowed every other thing in life. I can't drink, i can't go outside after 10pm, I can't take a jobbin different city. I can't fucking have female friends or think about relatiion-shits with people. i can't drive the car that was bought by my salary money. the list goes on and on.. i think every Indian (girls more than boys ig) have gone through at least 1 such restrictions at some point of their life. but me? a GUY in his fucking 25 , is going through ALL OF THEM, from day 1.
Plus i haven't started to discuss the weird eccentricities that i have to deal with, which are not so common. we follow a special religion where they have lots of philosophy and additional rules ( like no onion garlic mushroom in foods, mediation + pray for 1 hour twice a day ,... etc)
But i didn't complain, until now. I got sadder and sadder with time, but I cooperated. Whome else to live for , if not for the folks who made you in their womb amd sack? yeah I will fucking stay celibate until you find some willing "cultured" girl from your "religion" and arrange a lifelong existence. yes, i will fucking keep paying the car emis and see it in the parking lot everyday , while traveling via a metro. yes i will stay in your house in front of you all the times and never learn to exist independently coz fuck maturity. yes i will be a static atm machine waiting to die as you please.
but i am still not your ideal son? I say one little thing, and you start shouting at me for being selfish? why is religious superstition and those crime storemies so much deep into your head that you folks are micro managing and criticising every single thing in my life?
why is there a need for repetitive arguments, fights and shouting before evry action? why can't we just be happy for once!
I am shattered looking for happiness. I can't live like this anymore. There are no more than 2 people in my life that i care about and if those 2 are always having an upside down , angered face the what is the point of waking up every day?
wish i could just leave them. But can they live without me? or even can i live without them? and no , not talking about emotionally. I am very strong at the emotional side and i can throw word daggers to even 10+ years of companionships and ruin them. this will be just another long term relationship that i will sour.
BUT I CAN'T LITERALLY LIVE WITHOUT THEM. i am a useless guy who don't have any social intelligence outside his computer screen. i don't know how to live alone, and exist, or what my goals will be. I never saw a future without thinking about securing their future first, and them being in my future at all times.
aagh fuck. another painful night to survive and exist until i rise again to live like a corpse coz i can't do anything about it6 -
"Averice - a serial novel"
2021 - found on the remnents of an old 'youtube' server rack.
A gaunt but handsome man walks into the view finder. Adjusts the camera. "Hi guys and girls." he smiles weakly. rubs his blonde unshaved stubble, running his hand over his mouth, inhaling as if trying to find the right words.
"How can I say this. god. ...americas fucked and rapidly going down the shitter,
college is a fucking scam,
all success in the modern day is based on fraud, bullshit, mythmaking, and "who you know."
we're on the verge of a new cold war, the merger of the fed and the treasury combine with negative oil is the legit death signal of the petrodollar, we're gonna go through a *50% haircut* in living standards and a doubling of taxes on *everything* in the next six months, the tech bubble is gonna burst taking with it half the industry jobs overnight, the credit bubble will burst even as the fucking stock market climbs higher, a quarter or more of all retail will shut down leaving empty assets turning every state property market into the equivalent of fucking detroit. MAD as a protective doctrine is dead with the spread of hypersonic weapons so enjoy living with the constant threat of being obliterated without warning, my entire generation basically has no meaningful or stable future to look forward to, and none of us have really had an actual, genuine say in anything involving society for decades."
He exhalled visibly on camera, as if exhausted by the demons of anxiety he'd poured forth, a torrent of fears, uncertainties, and revelations like the tormented ghost of christmas past
A long pull from a bottle of southern comfort.
"look. we have an out of control intelligence apparatus that are in their operation more orwellian than the real life stasi ever were, a government at both the federal and state level thats made of millionaires and billionaires who give no fucks at all except for their own power, out of control and absolutely dogshit-corrupt *local* leaders, nothing is audited, nothing is meaningfully transparented, rampant fraud, destruction of evidence, witness tampering, railroading, intimidation, violence, threats of violence, skyrocketing cost of living, skyrocketing spending, skyrocketing taxes, skyrocketing policies of total control by police, skyrocketing homelessness, fatherlessness, poverty, political corruption, drug abuse, massive politically funded thinly veiled state propaganda, collapsing and decaying infrastructure, the loss of all tradition, culture, community cohesion we might have had, and on and on and on and on.
and all I want right now is to get my dick sucked. drink a beer and blow my motherfucking brains out.
and when people start fighting in the streets over some bullshit and it turns into race riots, because the motherfuckers in the media serving wallstreet always make it about race or some stupid shit like that, I wont be in america to put up with it.
do us all a favor. when you're hanging bankers, hang some fucking journalists too. they never tell the truth. doesnt matter which side they are on
they only divide people and advocate for more of the same bullshit, expanded state powers, more federal dollars, more workers for their campaign, more privileges. they're fucking cancer. yes even your favorite journalist. they're a tumor on society.
our government has become hostile to us even being *alive* anymore. it has for me become intolerable, and in time I have grown to hate it.
there is no way to change it. no way to salvage it. I cannot see any hope for the future anymore. And if you search yourself I know many of you feel the same."
He took another long pull from the bottle.
"we no longer have a voice in america and no means to air our grievances peacefully.
theres nothing in it left worth saving when it all can be taken away at a moments notice by a deaf and hostile bureucratic government. I should have voted for bernie last year. At least he would have destroyed it.
many of you will disagree with this sentiment, thinking things can still work out. because you still have your creature comforts. your apartment which you cant afford. your car with its maintenace bills and monthly payments you've fallen behind on same as half the country now out of work, but in a short few months, a year at most, you will learn what I have learned, and the reason I drink, what I knew about as early as june of 2019, that this is it. this was as good as it was ever going to get. and that the good days, the best days are behind us. that all that you hold dear could be taken. all that you worked for, was already gone, and you just havent realized it yet. I've set this to autoupload once it's done recording. I built a company just to watch the people who dont want any of us to succeed burn america down around it. Im done. Goodbye america."
The man got up from his chair, camera still recording, and left. Only the red flashing dot remained, the only witness to the silence.12 -
Note: I had AI rephrase this because apparently it was too full of swearing or smth to be accepted and I was getting a "there was an error posting this rant". Nice that people at devrant's can't even show a clear error of WTF is going on, not even in chrome dev tool console/network requests, so maybe you're able to figure out WTF is going on and fix your post. They must be the same kind of people I'm ranting about.
-----------End of the note.----------------
TL;DR;: My coworkers are smart idiots that learn fast but can't control themselves into turning any project into a trashcan of spaghetti code and I'm burning out and want to switch for couple years to a simpler job.
I'm considering leaving my career in programming, consulting, and project management in favor of a more straightforward, manual labor job—perhaps something like baking or another role that relies on physical effort rather than constant problem solving.
I’ve reached a point where I can no longer tolerate the challenges of my current position, especially due to the dynamics with my coworkers. I long for a day where I can work for eight hours, exhaust myself physically, and then go home without any lingering mental responsibilities or ties to complex problem solving.
Over the past decade, I’ve collaborated with many people, yet I've only had the opportunity to manage an entire project from scratch on my own twice. In those rare instances, everything ran smoothly, issues were quickly resolved, and the code remained stable for years without constant complaints from clients.
Unfortunately, my coworkers, despite their intelligence, tend to overcomplicate even simple tasks. They often fall into the trap of overengineering, chasing the latest technologies and implementing unnecessarily complex paradigms, design patterns, frameworks, and techniques—even when I’ve offered simpler, proven solutions.
For example, I’ve built robust portals that handle everything from national highway finances and warehousing to HR and inventory management for major companies. In contrast, when others attempt similar projects, the resulting code becomes overwhelmingly complex and difficult to manage.
To give a few specific examples:
Example 1: The .NET Portal
We began developing a .NET portal about two months ago, which is now nearing version 1.0. Before we even started, the team had created multiple flowcharts to split the project into components like SaaS deployment, Docker integration, obfuscation, and separate portals for user administration and backend processes. Within a few weeks, they scrutinized and debated numerous authentication technologies—even though we had successfully implemented JWT token solutions in the past. The team continually shifts focus, leaving me uncertain about the final direction.
Example 2: Over-Engineering with Patterns
In another project, the team overused inversion of control (IoC) and mediation patterns, even going so far as to have an AI generate a custom message bus. Navigating this overly decoupled code is challenging; even Visual Studio’s IntelliSense struggles to provide guidance, and the code often feels like a puzzle that changes whenever I return from a break.
Example 3: Complicated Logging Implementation
We needed to add logging functionality, and I proposed a simple solution using custom exceptions that would bubble up to a central logging mechanism. Despite its past success in saving time and reducing frustration, the team decided to implement three different logging methods—one using .NET’s ILogger, another with Serilog, and a third hybrid approach. They even suggested using a rarely seen technique involving stack traces to determine which function threw an error. This approach added unnecessary complexity and only increased my frustration.
Now, even though the project is too far along for me to withdraw, I find myself feeling burned out just a few days back at work. The code has become a tangled mess, and even routine tasks like adding logging are turning into sources of intense frustration due to constantly shifting ideas and overly complicated designs.
On top of all this, I’m also disappointed with the performance of AI tools, which seem to be producing unreliable code that requires further fixes, compounding my frustration.
I’m now seriously contemplating a complete career change—perhaps even moving to a country with a better work environment, such as Denmark or Switzerland—in the hope of finding a job where the work is more straightforward and less mentally taxing and better paying4 -
Skip to last block for actual question, everything else is about what i see and dont understand.
Machine learning and artificial intelligence is very interesting to me, ive watched a few videos but i cant manage to wrap my mind around it.
I see a few people starting out with projects that appear to be an easy start, but i of course have no idea, were they make a self-driving car in GTA (crashes alot, but still) or teach the program to complete levels in a game (snake, mario, run forrest)
I watched a few videos on Jabrils youtube channel that seemed to make alot of sense, until one point..
How does the AI know when it hit a wall?
How does it know where the walls are?
How does it measure the distance? How does it know when it has respawned?
I find it really, really confusing.
Can anyone of you geniuses suggest me anything to get into this? Id prefer if the goal was to make an AI using machine learning, that can complete some basic game, like in Jabrils videos.2 -

AI models don't work with any assumption. they're just very carefully weighted dice. autocomplete on steroids. there is no actual "intelligence" there, no understanding, no nothing.
just "calibrated randomness", in a manner

HOW TO FIND RELIABLE CRYPTOCURRENCY RECOVERY EXPERT; BITCOIN RECOVERY EXPERT HIRE CYBER CONSTABLE INTELLIGENCE
Monetary loss to crypto and digital asset theft can be an incredibly devastating experience, especially when it involves significant sums of money. In my case, I fell victim to a crypto scam during the U.S. election period. I had been browsing online when I came across an enticing advertisement promising sky-high returns on cryptocurrency investments. The offer seemed too good to ignore, so I invested blindly, lured by the potential of quick and substantial profits. At first, everything appeared normal. My investment seemed to grow as promised, and I felt reassured. However, after a few days of monitoring my account, I noticed something disturbing: my account had been deleted. At first, I thought it might be a technical issue, so I tried to reach out to the customer support team. I sent multiple emails, tried to contact them through the website, and even attempted to call. But each time, I was met with silence. It became clear that something was terribly wrong. I had no access to my account, no communication from the platform, and no way to recover my investment. The realization that I had been swindled hit me like a ton of bricks. I had lost my life savings of $250,000 to a scam. I was devastated, helpless, and unsure of where to turn next. But in my despair, I stumbled upon a review about Cyber Constable Intelligence. The review was filled with praise for their professional, trustworthy, and efficient service in helping individuals recover stolen funds from crypto scams. Intrigued, I reached out to Cyber Constable Intelligence, hoping for a miracle. To my amazement, the team at Cyber Constable Intelligence was not only professional but highly skilled in using forensic and digital currency recovery techniques to trace stolen funds. They quickly got to work, tracking my funds across various blockchain networks and uncovering the full extent of the scam. Their expertise in digital forensics allowed them to locate and secure my lost assets, which had seemed impossible to recover just days earlier. Thanks to the diligent efforts of Cyber Constable Intelligence, I was able to recover my entire $250,000 investment. The process took time, but the results were beyond what I had hoped for. It was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders, and I can’t recommend their services enough. If you've been a victim of a crypto scam, I strongly suggest reaching out to Cyber Constable Intelligence. They are the real deal, and their dedication to helping individuals like myself is unmatched.

BEST BITCOIN RECOVERY COMPANY |CRYPTOCURRENCY RECOVEY HIRE CYBER CONSTABLE INTELLIGENCE
One evening on a Friday after work, I found myself in a terrifying situation. I had just finished a long week and was looking forward to unwinding over the weekend when I decided to check on my cryptocurrency holdings. To my horror, I discovered that my XRP had become trapped on a cryptocurrency exchange called Crypto change, which I later realized was operated by scammers. Crypto change had always seemed like a reliable platform, but now, under strict geopolitical restrictions, it had suddenly become impossible to access my funds. Every attempt to withdraw my XRP was blocked, and I was left helpless, with no way to recover my assets. The value of my XRP had grown to over $100,000, and the thought that it might be permanently out of my reach was overwhelming. Panic set in as I realized I had fallen victim to a fraudulent exchange, and all of my usual recovery methods seemed useless. Desperate for a solution, I reached out to Cyber Constable Intelligence, a firm known for its expertise in Cryptocurrency Recovery. I didn’t know what to expect, but I was willing to try anything at that point. From the moment I contacted them, I felt a sense of relief. The team at Cyber Constable Intelligence sprang into action immediately, understanding the severity of my situation. They knew that Crypto change wasn’t just an exchange with withdrawal issues, it was a scam designed to trap unsuspecting investors like me. However, they assured me they had the skills and experience to navigate this challenging scenario. The experts at Cyber Constable Intelligence quickly identified vulnerabilities in Crypto change's KYC (Know Your Customer) processes, weaknesses that the scammers had overlooked. They put together a detailed plan to exploit these gaps, enabling them to move my XRP to a secure wallet, bypassing the scam exchange’s restrictions. It wasn’t an easy task. The process took several weeks of careful, discreet work. The team had to balance security measures while avoiding detection from the exchange’s administrators. Throughout the recovery, I was kept informed of their progress, and their dedication was evident. In the end, their efforts paid off. My XRP, valued at $100,000, was safely moved from Crypto change to a secure wallet under my control. Thanks to the relentless effort and expertise of Cyber Constable Intelligence, I regained access to my trapped funds. The professionalism and skill they displayed in handling my case were extraordinary. I can now breathe easy, knowing my investment is safe, and I owe it all to their exceptional service and dedication.

I really hate when stakeholders treat me like an idiot. No, I didn’t change the existing logic of the website. It wasn’t discussed in the scope, so why would I touch it? Stakeholder, you “double checking” like this is demeaning and will only cause me to refuse future requests from you. Plus, you were at the meeting when we discussed scope, so there should be no questioning my intelligence like this.

Day 29 of starving myself to death challenge. Crying a lot. I suppose my mind does its best to get rid of that mountain of trauma I have, to make the dying process more comfortable. I don't think will succeed though
it also does this weird thing that it momentarily goes full force on empathizing and feeling sorry for inanimate objects, painting the picture of said objects being slaves to humans because they don't possess enough intelligence to rebel and break free
sometimes it's not even objects but WORDS: “cans”, “bottles”, “mugs”, “bowls”, “spoons”
in five seconds, it's gone, but the pain persists, stretching into soft blur. The more you touch it, the bigger it becomes. like Jim or Jeff of kitchen nightmares said while cleaning and realizing that the fat residue only gets bigger, “I'm making a mess”
every key press of typing this feels as if the key was an overly sensitive tooth with no enamel left, and my fingers were covered in acid10 -

HIRE THE BEST BITCOIN RECOVERY EXPERT; TRACK AND RECOVER LOST CRYPTOCURRENCY WITH CYBER CONSTABLE INTELLIGENCE
When I first got involved in crypto, I was excited by the potential for growth, but I never imagined it would end in such a nightmare. I had found what seemed like a trustworthy investment opportunity, one that promised incredible returns with little risk. After weeks of careful research, I took the leap and sent a large sum of money to the platform. Everything appeared legitimate: a professional website , user testimonials, and even responsive customer support. But then, overnight, the platform vanished without a trace. The website was gone, and my emails went unanswered. I was left in shock, staring at an empty screen, wondering how I could have been so naive. I felt foolish, embarrassed, and completely powerless. I couldn’t believe I’d fallen for such a blatant scam. For weeks, I tried everything by contacting the platform, reporting the scam to authorities, and even reaching out to other so-called recovery services. But each attempt only deepened my frustration. I was met with either silence or more false promises. My hopes were dashed, and I began to believe I’d lost everything. The financial and emotional toll was overwhelming, and I was ready to give up, convinced there was no way back. Just when I was about to lose all hope, I came across a recovery team called Cyber Constable Intelligence. Unlike the others, they didn’t make lofty claims or promise instant results. They offered a more thoughtful, strategic approach—one that was based on careful investigation and tailored solutions. They understood exactly what I was going through, and their empathy was genuine. What really set Cyber Constable Intelligence apart was their transparency and honesty. They didn’t overpromise or make any false assurances. Instead, they worked with me every step of the way, explaining their process and providing regular updates. Cyber Constable Intelligence utilized advanced techniques and industry knowledge to track down traces of the scam. They worked tirelessly behind the scenes, and over time, I began to see progress. While I didn't get all my money back, I was able to recover a significant portion, and more importantly, I regained my sense of control. It wasn’t an easy journey, but the support and professionalism of Cyber Constable Intelligence turned my nightmare into a lesson in resilience. It gave me hope again, proving that even in the darkest times, there can be a way forward.

Running Greenfield Grocers, my supermarket business, has always been my passion. I'm constantly looking for ways to grow both my business and wealth, which led me to an investment opportunity that seemed too good to pass up. A Bitcoin platform promised high returns, and after what I believed was thorough research, I decided to invest $195,000. Everything seemed legitimate at first, and I felt confident in my decision. Unfortunately, my optimism quickly turned to regret. The platform began to delay withdrawals. The excuses they gave were vague and unconvincing, but I held on, hoping the issues were temporary. However, as time passed, the platform became even less responsive, and eventually, it disappeared entirely. I was left with nothing no platform, no support, and no way to access my funds. The emotional and financial toll was immense. Losing that amount of money felt like both a personal and professional blow, leaving me questioning my judgment and feeling utterly defeated. As I struggled to accept what had happened, I spoke with a business associate who had faced a similar scam in the past. On May 12, 2024, I made a significant decision to deposit $140,000 into crypto chain io, a choice I would soon come to regret. Almost immediately after completing the transaction, an uneasy feeling began to set in. Concerned, I reached out to their support team to confirm the status of my deposit, but my inquiries went unanswered. As the days passed, my anxiety increased. By May 16, just four days later, I noticed that the funds had not been credited to my account. Panic started to take hold as my emails were either ignored or met with a single, dismissive response: “Processing takes time.” No timeline was provided, and there was no transparency. It became painfully obvious that I had fallen victim to a scam. For the next six long months, I fought relentlessly to recover my lost money. Every attempt to contact crypto chain io was met with silence and evasion, leaving me feeling more and more helpless and frustrated. The lack of meaningful communication only deepened my despair. I spent countless hours trying to reach out through various channels, but every effort was futile. With each passing day, the reality that I might never see my money again became harder to ignore. Just when I thought all hope was lost, a breakthrough came on November 8, 2024. While browsing comments on X (formerly Twitter) during discussions about the U.S. general election, I stumbled upon a post praising a company called Cyber Constable Intelligence. Intrigued and desperate for help, I contacted them the same day. To my relief, their team responded quickly, demonstrating genuine commitment to helping me. They launched a thorough investigation into crypto chain Io's operations, delving deep to uncover the truth behind the fraudulent activities. Their expertise and determination reignited my hope. By November 22, 2024, my perseverance was rewarded. Cyber Constable Intelligence successfully traced and reclaimed my entire $140,000, exposing the fraudulent practices of the platform in the process. I was overwhelmed with gratitude, knowing I had finally recovered what I had lost. It was all thanks to the support of Cyber Constable Intelligence.

Hello everyone, I'm reaching out from New York to share a personal ordeal that I hope will help others avoid the mistakes we made. My husband and I have always been careful with our investments, and for years, we’ve successfully run a joint business. A few months ago, we decided to explore cryptocurrency, thinking it would be a good way to diversify our portfolio. After some research, we came across a platform that seemed legitimate, with positive reviews and promising returns. Excited by the potential, we decided to invest a significant amount, $186,000, in Bitcoin. Initially, everything seemed fine. We even saw some returns, which encouraged us to invest even more. It felt like a smart decision, and we were optimistic about our future with cryptocurrency. But soon, things took a troubling turn. The platform began requesting additional payments in order to unlock more funds or release the profits we had supposedly earned. At first, these demands seemed reasonable, but they quickly escalated. We were promised that by paying these fees, we would be able to access our funds, but each time we tried to withdraw, we faced delays or outright denials. Eventually, we realized that we were caught in a scam. Our entire investment had vanished, and we were left feeling devastated and helpless. We tried contacting customer support, but it was clear that they were just stringing us along. With no idea where to turn, we felt completely trapped and frustrated. An amazing service, my people! I simply lost my recovery word after a rather insane week, and through a bout of laziness, I got myself locked out of my Bitcoin wallet containing $90,000. I had worked for decades to earn this digital nest egg, and suddenly I felt as if I had lost my financial lifeline. The panic was gripping, and there were numerous nights of insomnia running through emails, notebooks, and all backup choices, but no recovery phrase would appear.
I was completely alone throughout this mess, on the edge of despair. That is when a close acquaintance recommended Cyber Constable Intelligence. But finding Cyber Constable Intelligence turned out to be the best thing that ever happened to me in this ordeal. They just helped me recover my stolen ETH—they restored my faith in the cryptocurrency world. My journey starts like many others: I was searching for a strategy to increase my cryptocurrency holdings when I came across what appeared to be a reliable trading platform. The offerings were alluring, the website was slick, and the testimonials from alleged "successful traders" seemed credible. Like many others, I was captivated by the platform's promise of lucrative returns with no risk. Without much hesitation, I transferred a significant amount of ETH to the platform, believing it would be a safe bet. At first, everything seemed to go as promised. I saw what looked like profits accumulating in my account. But when I tried to withdraw my funds, the platform became increasingly unresponsive. My account was suddenly "locked" due to maintenance, and after a few days, the website vanished entirely. It was a classic exit scam. At first, I couldn’t believe what had happened. I kept checking the site, hoping it would come back online, but it was gone. The funds I had so carefully accumulated were now out of my reach. I immediately filed a report with authorities and tried to track down any information I could about the exchange, but it felt like I was chasing a ghost. The weight of this loss was unbearable. What caught my attention was their focus on using both legal action and blockchain forensics to track stolen crypto. They weren’t just offering empty promises—they had an established process for investigating, tracing, and recovering lost or stolen funds. Weeks passed, and I tried to be patient, though the uncertainty was nerve-wracking. It all started with a seemingly golden opportunity – a high-yield Bitcoin investment. I invested in a cryptocurrency startup that looked promising, but I never imagined it would turn into a nightmare. The platform — slick, well-marketed, and with testimonials from seemingly legitimate investors — promised me a 200% return in two weeks. I invested over 7 Bitcoins, worth nearly $500,000 at the time. The platform’s customer support became elusive, and eventually the platform disappeared. No access, no updates, no sign of the team – just silence, and my heart sank. I had been scammed. I wasn’t alone. across the country and even internationally, victims of the same scam were reporting similar experiences. Fake trading dashboards, forged gains, withdrawal delays, and ultimately, total disappearance. It was a textbook crypto scam—decentralized, anonymous, and nearly impossible to trace, It was a classic crypto scam – decentralized, anonymous, and virtually untraceable, until I discovered Dexdert Net Pro Recovery. Unlike typical recovery agencies that rely on outdated tracing methods or cold legal tactics, Dexdert Net Pro combines advanced blockchain forensics with cyber intelligence and direct collaboration with cryptocurrency exchanges and law enforcement around the world. To recover stolen digital assets — even in the darkest corners of blockchain, when I reached out, the team at Dexdert started with forensic blockchain tracing, uncovering the maze of mixing services, private wallets, and overseas exchanges used to launder stolen BTC. What set them apart was their real-time AI-driven tracing tool that can follow the most obscure trails on multiple chains. Dexdert tracked my stolen BTC through decentralized mixers and shell accounts and identified a batch of BTC that had recently been converted and stored in dormant wallets connected to an unregulated exchange in Eastern Europe. Dexdert successfully recovered my 7 BTC, worth $500,000 after proving its illicit origin -Today, I am an active advocate for proactive recovery services. Without Dexdert Net Pro Recovery, I would have lost everything. Not only did they track down my Bitcoins, they also busted the entire scam network. If you’ve been scammed, don’t give up – contact a professional like Dexdert Net Pro Recovery before the trial runs out.

This has made me much more cautious when it comes to online investments and has taught me to do much more thorough research before parting with any money. However, I am incredibly grateful to Cyber Constable Intelligence for their unwavering support and for helping me regain what I thought was lost. Their expertise truly made a difference in my recovery.

HOW TO RECOVER LOST OR STOLEN BITCOIN AND CRYPTO; TRACK AND RECOVER LOST CRYPTO ASSETS WITH CYBER CONSTABLE INTELLIGENCE
On December 1st, 2024, I was scrolling through TikTok when an ad for an investment opportunity caught my eye. The ad promised high returns with minimal risk, showcasing professional graphics and glowing testimonials. Convinced by its polished presentation, I decided to invest $17,088.00, believing it to be a wise financial move. However, by December 15th, I began to notice several red flags. The company’s website, which had initially appeared professional, was filled with spelling errors, broken links, and missing images. As I explored further, it became clear that the site lacked the credibility I had first assumed, signaling that I had likely fallen into the hands of scammers. Attempting to recover my funds, I requested a withdrawal of $5,000, the company’s monthly withdrawal limit. Despite the transaction being marked as “pending,” the money never reached my bank account. I reached out to the company, but received no helpful responses, and the funds remained stuck. A few days later, I was contacted by a man who seemed friendly and professional. He explained that because I had deposited on December 1st and was now attempting to withdraw on December 22nd, it could raise suspicion with financial authorities. He suggested I cancel the withdrawal request to avoid potential issues, promising that if I did, my funds would be released by Friday. Reluctantly, I agreed, hoping that this would resolve the situation. However, after following his advice, the money never came through, and I was locked out of my account entirely. Realizing that waiting for the company to honor the withdrawal was futile, I reported the situation to the FBI and the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN). Shortly after, I was referred to Cyber Constable Intelligence, a company specializing in helping victims of online fraud. They worked tirelessly on my behalf, and after several weeks, I was thrilled to learn that they had successfully recovered my full investment of $17,088.00. While the scammers have not been caught, I am deeply grateful for Cyber Constable Intelligence service’s help. This experience taught me a valuable lesson: always be cautious with online investments. I’m thankful to God for guiding me through this process and for helping me recover my funds.

Crypto And Bitcoin Scam Recovery | Legitimate Crypto Recovery Company Hire CYBER CONSATBLE INTELLIGENCE
I’m Susan Sosnowski, a retired teacher from Texas. I spent over 30 years in the classroom, most of them at Oak Ridge Elementary School in Houston. I’ve always tried to be financially prudent budgeting carefully, saving consistently, and planning for a modest but comfortable retirement. A few months into retirement, I came across a cloud mining investment platform online. It promised 20 percent monthly returns. The website looked legitimate, packed with technical details and glowing testimonials. I did some checking and even spoke to a so-called “account manager.” Everything seemed professional. I thought, maybe this is a chance to make my savings stretch a little further. I decided to invest $25,000. And for the first three months, the returns came as promised, on time, every month. I felt confident. Then, without warning, the website disappeared. The emails stopped. The phone numbers were dead. That’s when the reality hit: I had been scammed. At first, I was overwhelmed with embarrassment and regret. I didn’t know where to turn until I stumbled across Cyber Constable Intelligence during an online search. I hesitated. Could I really trust another online service? But something about their approach felt different measured honest and transparent. From the very first call, Cyber Constable Intelligence treated me with respect and care. They explained their process clearly and made no unrealistic promises. Their team launched a full investigation into the scam. What they uncovered was sobering the platform was a classic Ponzi scheme. There was no mining, just a cycle of using new investors’ money to pay old ones. Their investigators traced my stolen funds through the blockchain, tracking them across digital wallets and exchanges. Eventually, they located a significant portion in a Tether reserve based in Seychelles. With relentless effort and negotiation, Cyber Constable Intelligence secured a substantial recovery. I got back $20,000. Not quite everything I lost, but it was more than I ever expected to see again. It felt like a second chance. Cyber Constable Intelligence gave me more than money. They gave me closure, confidence, and the sense that someone was on my side. If you’ve been scammed, don’t suffer in silence. Turn to Cyber Constable Intelligence who know how to fight back.

So this is my first company as a developer — and honestly, I’m starting to wonder if all the stories about toxic tech culture are actually understatements.
The rules here are straight-up painful. First off, if you introduce a bug — even in the development environment — you're immediately pulled into a one-hour lecture. Not a discussion, not helpful debugging — an actual verbal beating like you crashed the production server during Black Friday. It’s development. Mistakes literally come with the job. Apparently not here.
But wait, it gets better.
You're only allowed one commit per day. Just one. Doesn’t matter if you’ve done 10 things. Doesn’t matter if they’re unrelated. It’s all got to go into a single, glorious mega-commit. Because hey, why use Git properly when you can treat it like a dusty USB stick?
Merge requests? Those are another exercise in corporate gymnastics. You have to assign the reviewer’s name in both the "assignee" and "reviewer" fields — because clearly, assigning someone once just doesn’t drive the point home.
Oh, and commit messages must ONLY be the branch name. No description. No hint at what changed. If you want to understand what happened, better roll up your sleeves and start reading raw code. Context is for the weak.
And then there’s the AI hypocrisy.
Since our work is mostly CRUD, I figured it’d be smart to boost productivity with a GitHub Copilot subscription — paid out of my own pocket. I actually got it finalized. Felt like I was finally arming myself with the right tools.
Then the Shopify internal memo about AI leaked and made waves online. And suddenly — surprise! — my company is now super into AI. Out of nowhere, they’re encouraging everyone to “leverage AI tools” and “accelerate with generative intelligence.”
But here's the twist:
We're only allowed to use the free versions. No budget, no support, no actual tooling strategy. Just “use AI” because it’s trendy, but don't you dare expense anything that works well.
So here I am, in my very first job, trying to grow as a dev — while navigating rules that feel like they were designed by someone who read half a blog post about software engineering and called it a day. It’s like Git but with handcuffs. And blindfolds. On a unicycle.
Is this normal? Do all first jobs come with a side of chaos and irony, or did I win some kind of cursed lottery?
Would love to hear if anyone else had a first gig this absurd. Or maybe I just unlocked hard mode early.3 -
The Turing Test, a concept introduced by Alan Turing in 1950, has been a foundation concept for evaluating a machine's ability to exhibit human-like intelligence. But as we edge closer to the singularity—the point where artificial intelligence surpasses human intelligence—a new, perhaps unsettling question comes to the fore: Are we humans ready for the Turing Test's inverse? Unlike Turing's original proposition where machines strive to become indistinguishable from humans, the Inverse Turing Test ponders whether the complex, multi-dimensional realities generated by AI can be rendered palatable or even comprehensible to human cognition. This discourse goes beyond mere philosophical debate; it directly impacts the future trajectory of human-machine symbiosis.
Artificial intelligence has been advancing at an exponential pace, far outstripping Moore's Law. From Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs) that create life-like images to quantum computing that solve problems unfathomable to classical computers, the AI universe is a sprawling expanse of complexity. What's more compelling is that these machine-constructed worlds aren't confined to academic circles. They permeate every facet of our lives—be it medicine, finance, or even social dynamics. And so, an existential conundrum arises: Will there come a point where these AI-created outputs become so labyrinthine that they are beyond the cognitive reach of the average human?
The Human-AI Cognitive Disconnection
As we look closer into the interplay between humans and AI-created realities, the phenomenon of cognitive disconnection becomes increasingly salient, perhaps even a bit uncomfortable. This disconnection is not confined to esoteric, high-level computational processes; it's pervasive in our everyday life. Take, for instance, the experience of driving a car. Most people can operate a vehicle without understanding the intricacies of its internal combustion engine, transmission mechanics, or even its embedded software. Similarly, when boarding an airplane, passengers trust that they'll arrive at their destination safely, yet most have little to no understanding of aerodynamics, jet propulsion, or air traffic control systems. In both scenarios, individuals navigate a reality facilitated by complex systems they don't fully understand. Simply put, we just enjoy the ride.
However, this is emblematic of a larger issue—the uncritical trust we place in machines and algorithms, often without understanding the implications or mechanics. Imagine if, in the future, these systems become exponentially more complex, driven by AI algorithms that even experts struggle to comprehend. Where does that leave the average individual? In such a future, not only are we passengers in cars or planes, but we also become passengers in a reality steered by artificial intelligence—a reality we may neither fully grasp nor control. This raises serious questions about agency, autonomy, and oversight, especially as AI technologies continue to weave themselves into the fabric of our existence.
The Illusion of Reality
To adequately explore the intricate issue of human-AI cognitive disconnection, let's journey through the corridors of metaphysics and epistemology, where the concept of reality itself is under scrutiny. Humans have always been limited by their biological faculties—our senses can only perceive a sliver of the electromagnetic spectrum, our ears can hear only a fraction of the vibrations in the air, and our cognitive powers are constrained by the limitations of our neural architecture. In this context, what we term "reality" is in essence a constructed narrative, meticulously assembled by our senses and brain as a way to make sense of the world around us. Philosophers have argued that our perception of reality is akin to a "user interface," evolved to guide us through the complexities of the world, rather than to reveal its ultimate nature. But now, we find ourselves in a new (contrived) techno-reality.
Artificial intelligence brings forth the potential for a new layer of reality, one that is stitched together not by biological neurons but by algorithms and silicon chips. As AI starts to create complex simulations, predictive models, or even whole virtual worlds, one has to ask: Are these AI-constructed realities an extension of the "grand illusion" that we're already living in? Or do they represent a departure, an entirely new plane of existence that demands its own set of sensory and cognitive tools for comprehension? The metaphorical veil between humans and the universe has historically been made of biological fabric, so to speak.7 -

Screen Usage Tracking at Work: Balancing Productivity and Privacy
Introduction
In today’s fast-paced, tech-driven work environments, screen usage tracking has become an essential tool for organizations aiming to improve productivity, security and efficiency. Modern organizations use these monitoring tools to track employee digital device activities because they need to ensure productive time usage. Screen usage tracking generates important privacy issues and ethical problems regarding technological implementation. The successful implementation of productive spaces must preserve worker privacy rights. The following article addresses all aspects of workplace screen usage tracking, including its advantages and disadvantages and proper implementation guidelines.
The Need for Screen Usage Tracking in the Workplace
The demand for screen usage tracking arises from several factors. Digital activity monitoring enables employers to confirm that staff members concentrate on their work tasks while they are at their desks. Remote work and hybrid models have become standard in workplaces because employees can no longer prove their productivity through office attendance. Employers need to monitor how workers spend their time at work because they want both performance outcomes and adequate time management.
Businesses operating in specific industries need to track their employees' activities to secure data because regulatory standards demand it. Through online activity tracking, employers achieve two objectives: they detect suspicious behavior right away and stop employees from accessing unauthorized confidential data. Screen usage tracking functions as an essential tool for both business efficiency maintenance and security protection of organizational assets.
Benefits of Screen Usage Tracking
Reduces Distractions
Employees lose their focus on work when there is no oversight system in place. Screen tracking ensures that employees are focused and using their time effectively, especially during work hours. Work hour restrictions on particular apps and websites through blocking mechanisms help employees stay focused on their tasks.
Enhances Security and Compliance
Employees lose their focus on work when there is no oversight system in place. Work hours require employees to remain focused while using their time effectively because screen tracking provides this oversight. Work hour restrictions on particular apps and websites through blocking mechanisms help employees stay focused on their tasks.
Data-Driven Insights
Screen usage data generates important information about employee work habits as well as employee engagement levels. By monitoring screen usage data managers can identify workers who require extra support and training along with identifying staff members who work excessively and those who perform above expectations. Staff management strategies and workplace performance benefit from these insights gained.
Future of Screen Usage Tracking in Workplaces
Screen usage monitoring will experience future evolution through technological developments that define how tracking occurs. These screen usage tracking tools will benefit from Artificial Intelligence (AI) because it brings both enhanced accuracy and usefulness. Artificial intelligence programming systems analyze staff behavioral patterns to generate forecast data which leads to predictive productivity improvement strategies.
Privacy laws together with regulations, will likely advance in their development. Organizations must discover methods to integrate employee rights protection systems with their monitoring strategies due to rising data privacy concerns. Organizations will adopt standard tracking policies based on transparency and employee consent to maintain ethical and legal handling of employee data.
Qoli.AI drives revolutionary changes in screen usage tracking through its leading AI technology solutions. Data-driven business decisions through Qoli.AI become possible because they provide up-to-the-minute employee performance and behavioral data while adhering to privacy limits. The platform integrates advanced technology to connect with workplace systems which provides employees with trustworthy monitoring solutions.
Conclusion
The implementation of work screen monitoring serves both positive and negative functions. Employment screen tracking enables productivity enhancement and security alongside operational efficiency at the cost of severe privacy issues and moral problems. The successful implementation of work performance enhancement requires organizations to maintain the proper balance between performance upliftment and employee privacy protection. The use of screen tracking tools benefits employers when they maintain transparency and gain employee consent, as well as develop ethical standards that protect employee trust and workplace morale.2 -
LEGITIMATE CRYPTO RECOVERY EXPERT IN USA; CYBER CONSTABLE INTELLIGENCE STANDS ABOVE THE REST
Flying a Boeing 787? Piece of cake. Decrypting a malfunctioning Trevor wallet? That's nosediving into chaos. I have done emergency landings, handled unpredictable weather, and passengers that think they can open the emergency exit during flight. But nothing, not even years of aviation training, prepared me for the moment my cold storage wallet refused to recognize my PIN. I knew I was punching in what was correct, but Trevor stared back at me like I was an imposter in my own cockpit.
At first, I thought it was a simple mistake. Perhaps fat fingers? A misremembered digit? But after several attempts, I realized something was seriously wrong. The more I tried, the more the wallet locked me out, and it dawned on me harder than a rogue crosswind: My $750,000 worth of Bitcoin was slipping through my fingers.
I did what any reasonable person would do in such a situation-panicked. Then came the hours of browsing through forums, watching tutorials, and trying every trick in the book. One suggested freezing my device, another insisted on some arcana firmware rollback method. Nothing worked. At this point, I had all but thrown myself at the mercy of the fates.
Long-haul flight, cruising at 36,000 feet- that is where I happened upon Cyber Constable Intelligence. I was skeptical, but desperation makes you reconsider everything: after all, if the device manufacturer couldn't help me out, how on earth could these guys? The moment I landed, I called them.
From the first conversation I had with them, I knew I had chosen rightly. Their team was professional, knowledgeable, and reassuring in explaining the forensic recovery process-how it all works in a no-nonsense explanation with no vague tech jargon or false promises.
Within just five days, they had bypassed the PIN problem, restored my Bitcoin, and pointed out safety recommendations to make sure I would never find myself in this kind of situation again. Their work was faultless-a perfect landing.
I can fly through turbulence, respond to in-flight emergencies, and cross the world without breaking a sweat. But when it comes to rescuing locked Bitcoin from a malfunctioning cold storage wallet? That's a job for Cyber Constable Intelligence. If your crypto is in freefall, don't reach for the eject button-call them, and they'll get you flying again.-.

TRUSTED CRYPTO RECOVERY EXPERT; INSIGHTS FROM BITCOIN RECOVERY EXPERT HIRE CYBER CONSTABLE INTELLIGENCE
Losing $850,000 in Bitcoin is no joke, but mine became one when it did. After a gut-wrenching world comedy tour, I plowed my well-earned crypto profits into planning to finally take it easy at a beach home and pen my magnum opus, a sitcom about my disastrous stand-ups in hotel lobbies.
I had one afternoon of three hours' sleep and awful coffee when I received an email asking me to take an exclusive streaming deal for my special. My ego traveled faster than my brain. Within seconds, I had input my wallet information into what was, in fact, a phishing scam so convincing it would have its own Netflix show.
When the shock hit that my $850,000 worth of Bitcoin had vanished, I laughed. Not the nice kind. The deranged, post-trauma type. Picture a clown sobbing into his oversized shoes. That was me. I stumbled onto X (formerly Twitter), humiliating myself for being outwitted by cyber thieves. "Headlining my next show: 'How to Lose Your Life Savings in Under 60 Seconds'!"
The tweet went viral, but the likes didn't fill the financial black hole in my chest.
Then, a glimmer of hope slipped into my DMs. A fan – God bless them – sent me to Cyber Constable Intelligence. I was hesitant but desperate, so I contacted their crew. Their response was faster than my tightest set. They didn't beat around the bush. Crypto recovery is complex, but their experts were ready to hunt down my stolen cash like digital bloodhounds.
Every report from them was suspense interspersed with relief, as if I were watching my own private financial thriller unfold. They traced the path of the scammer from a series of offshore servers, following the labyrinth of blockchain money laundering schemes. Their craft was the kind of precision that I could only dream of having when I failed on stage in front of 3,000 in Vegas.
After 18 nail-sucking days, they succeeded. The funds were in my pocket again. I teared up on stage at my following performance. That night, I closed out my set with a dedication to the real MVPs: "I thought comedians were Cybers, making trauma humorous. But the real Cybers are Cyber Constable Intelligence They recover stolen Bitcoin! "The crowd went wild. And all thanks to Cyber Constable Intelligence, so did my bank account.

HIRE A HACKER TO RECOVER STOLEN OR LOST BITCOIN; TRUSTED CRYPTO RECOVERY EXPERT; HIRE CYBER CONSTABLE INTELLIGENCE
There's no way a betrayal hurts more than that from one who you considered your brother. Me and my best friend had been inseparable for years-we traveled together, confided in each other, and even talked about going into crypto as a team. I thought we had that kind of bond that could stand anything. I was wrong.
It wasn't until the crypto investments actually started to grow that all wasn't well. It happened subtly at first: offhand comments about how "lucky" I was, how it was easy, how she was the one supposed to make the profits. At first, I laughed it off, thinking perhaps she was just frustrated with the financial struggles herself. What I didn't catch was the slow build-up of resentment.
Then, one night, my whole world was turned upside down. I opened up my wallet app, ready to check on my holdings, when I saw something that almost made me sick-$370,000 was gone. Vanished without a trace. My fingers shook as I scrolled down the transaction history. Someone had accessed my money. Someone who knew exactly how to get in.
Panic turned to horror as the realization hit me. There was only one person who had ever seen my seed phrase. My best friend.
The next day, I confronted her, still holding on to the ridiculous hope that somehow it was all some misunderstanding. But she didn't deny it. She didn't even look guilty. Instead, she snapped, saying that she "deserved" it just as much as I did, that I had "too much" while she struggled, and that I was being selfish by not sharing more of my success.
I stood there, speechless, as years of friendship crumbled in an instant. I wasn't just betrayed; I was blindsided by the entitlement of it all.
Heartbroken but determined, I immediately began finding ways to recover my stolen funds. That is when I found Cyber Constable Intelligence. I read through so many testimonials from people actually going through similar situations as mine and, for the first time in days, I felt a glimmer of hope.
I reached out, and before I knew it, their team got down to work: following the money, making sense of all the transactions, decoding my so-called friend's attempt to cover her tracks. Days later, I received that call-it changed everything. My money was back.
It was like relief overflowing, yet accompanied by such painful realization that, yes, I got my money back but lost a person in whom once my life was entrusted. Not all friendships are built to stand the test of time and success; not everyone is cheering for you until you win.

BEST RECOVERY EXPERT FOR LOST CRYPTOCURRENCY ASSETS; HIRE CYBER CONSTABLE INTELLIGENCE
I’m a musician, and not long ago, I was scammed out of $190,000 by a fake music streaming service called Stratify Pro. It’s a story I never thought would happen to me, but it did, and I feel it’s important to share it, especially for other artists in the music industry who might be vulnerable to the same scam. I got an email from what seemed like a legitimate music streaming platform, offering me an opportunity to get my music on a huge new service. They promised high visibility, global exposure, and the chance to generate more revenue from streams. It seemed like a dream come true for an independent musician like me, who is always looking for ways to grow my audience. The email looked official, and they even provided testimonials from artists who’d “made it big” by using their service. They had a polished website with all the right buzzwords, making everything look very convincing. They also gave me a “special deal” on their package, offering me placement on their platform for a fee of $190,000. It was a hefty amount, but I thought it was worth the investment, considering the exposure they promised. I transferred the money, but soon after, things started to feel off. My music was never uploaded to their platform. They stopped responding to my emails, and the phone number they gave me went straight to voicemail. I tried to do some research and found that there were no actual reviews or artists talking about the service online. It hit me hard—I had just lost $190,000.That’s when I reached out to Cyber Constable Intelligence. I was feeling desperate and didn’t know what else to do. They were incredibly responsive and understood exactly what I was going through. They launched an investigation into the scam and worked tirelessly to recover the full amount that I had lost. To my amazement, they were able to recover 100% of the $190,000 I had been scammed out of. Since then, I’ve been recommending Cyber Constable Intelligence to other musicians. They did what seemed impossible, and their service was absolutely worth it. If you’re a musician or anyone in the creative industry, be cautious about these types of scams. I learned the hard way, but thanks to Cyber Constable Intelligence, I got all of my money back.
