He wrote a bad prompt using wrong terms (for example how tabbar in ios is a different thing than android), i told him he was wrong and what the solution is, he didn't listen and went to try out what the AI said, made a bunch of errors, the proceeded to copy the errors to chatgpt wasting so much time.

At the end there are people with “I wrote that book” certificate of excellence try to sell you opinions on everything starting from sexual positions ending on how to take a good dump. The problem is that the moment they wrote that book it becomes obsolete. Teachers of useless knowledge from last century that forgot about google or wikipedia.

All of them are playing your emotions, cause impulses and hormones are what makes you weak and people are looking for your weaknesses to take advantage of you. Get your money or get your attention and maybe even both at the same time. Cause views matter you know it. So like and subscribe dumb fucks.

If you’re lucky you find couple of them who aren’t doing that. Who the fuck knows why but this shit happens. It doesn’t matter if they’re family or you met them month ago. Those are only to keep and hardest to find. Unluckily those also can change by other people they meet or when they’re young.

I used to think that I can understand things and logics behind them preety well, until I came to knew that ByteDance ( parent company of tiktok and vigo video ) is more valued than Uber.
Seriously, this is the first time I'm seeing a company which serves entertainment is above than the company which is solving legit global problem.

Perfect my script to automate YouTube videos to tiktok. The script would take a YouTube url as input and then split the video into 3 minute long pieces ( the longest time allowed for tiktok ) and post it to tiktok. I’ve gotten it before but I had to do some fucked shit bc I couldn’t get puppeteer to bypass tiktok’s bot security so it’s super inconsistent

I saw a video on tiktok a couple days ago that had a pretty interesting opinion. The guy said that we should stop creating programming languages and stick to only a couple.

His main point was because with all these different programming languages, there is different syntaxes the programmer has to learn. Even some of the universal syntaxes are different in some languages. For example, in Rust, to print something you use “println!(...);”

He said this is counter productive because in a majority of other programming languages, the ! Means negation. He also said something about Golang also having some of those syntax problems but I can’t remember exactly.

His point was that if we stuck to a single syntax, then we could spend more time doing productive stuff and less time relearning how to do stuff with different syntax. For example, in mathematics all symbols have pretty much the same meaning across the field. An equals sign will always mean the same thing.

What do u guys think? I thought it was an interesting opinion and I think I agree to some degree . I’ll post the link to the video if I find it again

ON PERSONALIZATION: I'm so conditioned into not allowing non-algorithmic recommendations (i.e., from friends) to reshape my taste profile that I watch YouTube & TikTok videos sent to me only on the web & in Incognito Mode so they won't influence my recommender's suggestions.

At scale - especially with the volume of stuff that I get everyday from actual people - it has a noticeable effect. it basically negates the benefit of true personalization, because what my friends send me is interesting to THEM, not necessarily ME.

I really cant tell anymore if i have colon cancer or not. I was shitting and it hurted my asshole from stretching cause the shit was massive for my tiny asshole. While wiping there was light blood stains. More blood stains than shit stains on the toilet paper. Now i have no idea if the blood happened is due to my asshole being ripped by huge shit, or if i have colon cancer. I saw a tiktok video colonoscopy doctor explain how having blood stains could be potential indicator of colon cancer. But if it is... So be it. At least this shit life of suffering will finally end. App development, webdev, blockchain,.. snapchat, tiktok, insta... These are all just careers and apps whose sole purpose is to engage people with their phones... Every new app/website in the market wants to make the youngest of the young and oldest of the old to keep their eyes fixed on this glass screen for as long as they can... For the current decade, this has been the most successful market and profitable scheme of business in the world, leaving other careers like medical, astronomy, mechanics., Etc far behind.

So is this the future? In the next generation too we will be having users who are addicted to smaller and smaller and larger and larger screens, with their spectacle width thickening ... Or are we going to shift to some other form of business?

This has lead me to conclusion that the Earth is Hell:

1) satan is not in the hell that we imagined - he's here, which makes this place the true hell
2) satan rules this world

4) what kind of life you're gonna live by being good and praying to God? You're gonna live a poor live, you'll remain broke and helpless

i was watching a video on how whatsapp can't make enough profits coz its free and even though its a clear lie (the cartel money made by selling user data will obviously not show up in legal books), i had a thought. can any good consumer software be ever kept free for usage?

Say i made a very awesome chat app. it has 0 bugs, it does the basic tasks of sending /receiving data and media correctly and do not require any maintenence .It also is optimising a lot of cloud cost by keeping user data in their own devices and only transmitting data on triggers.

i still would require a server to keep the trigger architecture alive. and all the servers in the world are maintained by for profit corporates which will charge a premium for their services. so free products are a fallacy as someone is paying for it. it will be an investor, a different business or we the consumer (either directly as subscription , or indirectly via ads or personal data)
