TL;DR: Face reveal in comments.
My parents have taught me, that if I do a good deed, I should forget it and not announce it to anybody.
However, I would still like to share it with you all.
I always wanted to donate something. Blood was not an option due to low vitamins and minerals.
I could donate money, but that doesn't bring satisfaction.
So, I decided to donate something which money cannot buy and requires my time and efforts.
I started growing my hair. I grew them for a year and a half.
It was an amazing experience. Some complimented my looks while others made fun of it. It did not matter as they did not know the reason behind it.
I was cool with it, because fuck society.
Last Saturday it was my birthday day. Never have I celebrated my birthday until this year. I decided to shave my head and surprise everyone. Again some loved my new looks while others are making fun of it.
It still doesn't matter, because I am donating my hair to a cancer patient so that they can maintain a positive body image.
I am at loss of to express my happiness I derived from it. I cannot tell how satisfied I am by this act. 😊
Let's make this world a better place. One deed at a time.80 -
Introducing new Notif filters! Now on mobile, all your notifications are broken up into category tabs and you can clear each category separately. No more digging for mentions!
Also we just released a new image preview for when a rant is shared on FB, Twitter, etc. which includes the ranter's avatar image. You can see it by sharing a rant on social media, or check out an example here: devrant.com/rants/1036286/image.png (if you change the rant ID, you can see others)47 -
Finally sharing my desk! The team is allowed to work in a dark room, the proper environment for developers.28

Who says a dev doesn't go outside? I barely stay somewhere indoor more than a couple of hours.
Now that everyone is sharing their setups:35 -
Le me having a chit chat with a student after sharing about programming in my former high school..
Student: "I learnt Java the other day, and I don't really like it"
Me: "Why?"
Student: "Because we can import existing packages on the community to do almost anything"
Me: "And? How is that bad for you?"
Student: "It's not very challenging, isn't it? I want to build everything in my program with my own code!"
Me: [silence]
Me: "Listen here, you little shit..."23 -
Just found this and thought of sharing it with community who make it happen.
I love ow technology evolved in last few decades.
What are your thoughts?13 -

Knocked over a beer bottle with my hand and caught it mid-flight.
Felt like a fucking ninja.
No clue why I'm sharing this but goddamn that was good.5 -
So everyone is sharing their work again, so here is mine.
And no 6 monitors, 1 pc isn't overkill.
Well...
Maybe...
But just a little!
Usually, one is spotify, one iChrome, one development (center bottom), one execution of dev, one email&facebook split and one documentation.26 -
Just sharing the best error message I ever got. Sometimes the application is just as confused as you are...11
-
Just sharing my experience of my spontaneous interview with Facebook. I'm not good at writing these but here you go :)
- I was working as an Android dev and didn't have much knowledge in algorithms nor competitive programming, never ever interviewed with big companies.
- a random day on LinkedIn, a recruiter from Facebook contacted me
- I ignored it for few week because I thought it's so out of my league, then somehow, out of blue, I had a thought of giving it a try, so I did
- passed first round
- start studying algorithms a little for phone interview in 3 weeks
- recklessly took the phone interview
- passed
- start studying intensively (while working fulltime) for the on-site interview in 2 months
- almost got the job, they gave me one more chance by a followed up interview
- messed up the last chance real bad
- failed!!!
- Initially I just wanted to give it a try, but the fact that I failed at very very last chance, frankly, bothers me a bit. Maybe I will interview with FB or big companies if I have chance later, but I know for sure that the studying had made me a much better dev. All the code I write now is much more efficient (I think), I can and not anymore afraid of reading complicated code.
- Overall, it does takes a lot of time (~4 months studying while working fulltime), but also benefits myself a lot though I didn't get the job, so basically, good experience, but better if I got the job 😁
Oops, wanted to write a few lines and it's a long post already.. I should stop here :D9 -
The easiest way to get into software development: Learn from someone with more experience.
The easiest way to master software development: teach those with less experience than you.
Knowledge sharing is the basis of our industry. I can't ask people to share enough7 -
Client: Let me send you the files needed.
*client sends link to their own Dropbox folder page, not actually sending a shared link*
Me: Uuuhm, the link you've just send is only viewable by your account.
Client: Oh, hold....
Client a bit later: *sends actual Dropbox credentials over email in plain text*
Why.27 -
Just installed Kubuntu on my netbook.
KDE Connect 💕
I can be lazy now and control my netbook from my phone 😊
Also notification sync, file sharing etc!23 -
!rant: So I've noticed some devs sharing pictures of their workspace. Let me know what you think of mine!17

I've put my blood, sweat and tears into this company in the past years. Worked overtime, evenings, weekends, night shifts to get shit done and helped out in sharing knowledge only to learn a new guy who's still learning has 200 bucks higher pay check than me.
I'm not even sure how to react to this.18 -
I thought it would be pretty cool to start a pet-sharing post!

Thanks, I am happy to be sharing my payment details with your company.

Incompetent doesn't even start to describe this one:
1. Uses Google drive instead of an online repository for code sharing
2. Uses multiple files instead of version control
3. Preferred variable names like a, a1, b, temp
4. Didn't like "wasting" space. The result was unreadable unindented code
5. Would rather use deprecated HTML tags rather than proper CSS styling
He was more like the personification of bad coding practices9 -
So, I saw this on Reddit, and I thought about sharing it here...
What do you think? It's somewhat accurate, or it can have some changes?

My family: Can you repair the printer ?
Me: No ...
My family: can't send my emails, fix it !
Me: No ...
My family: why this people can share my photos on Facebook ? Stop it now !
Me: Then stop sharing all your god damn life each time you eat, fart or go to the bathroom !!!! For fucks sake !
Also me: why have I started computer science ?2 -
I am a developer for almost 12 years (I am 24 now, I started early), but all my life I've been a lone wolf. I didn't share code, I didn't had to do peer reviews. The only opportunity that I had to do this in a company, it was completely messed up experience and I ended up being the only developer over there, so there was no one to see or review what I was doing.
So I basically grew up my entire life working by myself with no supervision.
It made me a very possessive person about my code and besides knowing that I am a highly above average developer, I can't show it to others because I think they might not really like what they'll see.
The thing is, this is a very stupid conclusion. If they have something to tell me, it means that there's something to learn, to evolve. After months of struggle, last year I've finally open sourced a project -- which in the time was my greatest thing of all time, so imagine how hard was that for me.
The reception was pretty good and even one of Meteor's maintainers gave me a star. Since then, I've been slowly opening the source of some legacy projects that would usually go straight to the trash bin.
So that's the moral of the story people: Don't be shy of your work, make code reviews, learn with other people about your weaknesses -- you'll never know them by yourself.4 -
Had devRant installed for a while now and finally have something worth sharing.
This happened in my last Python lab at uni:
Me: *Working away at this week's assignment*
Dude next to me: You know last week's assignment?
Me: Yes?
Dude: Did you test you solutions to the exercises?
Me: Yes
Dude: Oh, I didn't. Do you think I'll lose marks?
Me: Yes
I can only hope I'm not forced to work with this guy on group assignments...10 -
The worst thing I’ve seen a dev do is create a social sharing platform that sells its user data to the highest bidder and then asks for forgiveness after the privacy horse is out of the barn.7
-
My team was sharing an API key to our company's microservice containing all our customer data.
I say "was" because one team member accidentally published the key online so the security team disabled our key and won't give us a new one.
I don't know whether to laugh or cry4 -

Just a heads up since sometimes these things get missed on new devRant version releases: you can now download images attached to rants by tapping on the "share" icon on the top right of a rant and then selecting "save image". The image will be saved into the gallery on your device.
We've also improved Facebook and Twitter sharing.
Let us know if you have any questions!3 -
last night i was searching for a way to check the battery charge level of my bluetooth headset on linux. None of the workarounds seemed to work for me. I did some research on how bluetooth devices communicate over socket and wrote a python script to do the job. I'm sharing it here. It may be useful for you too.

Wk103 got to be the best weekly rant, it’s like everybody sharing a good quote about programming, and it’s useful

Can we, please, put some substance into our rants? Over the course of the last weeks the amount of rants of the type "%NAME% %SWEARWORDS%" has increased tremendously. You want tell everyone that (for example) Windows can go fuck itself? Great. But why? What is the story behind you're enragement?
Please make this place more fun to browse by sharing stories. Not just a random amount of names and swearwords.4 -
A senior developer come to interrupt me.
Senior developer: blah...blah....blah about this concept...... that concept... So, any new things you learn lately that you would like to share?
Me: I am learning back C++
Immediately he stop me and said, "Why did you learn C++? It is obsolete, no one use it anymore"
Me (in my head): But, you just said what I learn. It doesn't matter if its obsolete or not. Infact you are wrong, C++ is not obsolete anytime soon. I was about to share on webassembly.
Senior developer: So, would you like to join me in a short sharing session this afternoon.
Me: No thanks, I am really busy (just want to avoid at any cost)9 -

“There’s too many Firefox quantum rants...”
Lemme let you in on a little secret:
It’s nothing new, get over it.
Apple released a new phone.
Windows updated.
Samsung or Google releases a phone.
Exam time.
Do any of you see a common theme? It’s the same people posting three metric fuck tons of posts about recent news. Wow, a tech person sharing tech news, imagine that. It’s just a phase, we all notice it. It’ll go away. Thanks. Have a nice day.13 -

Dear dfox and trogus,
Is it possible to arrange a secret santa kind of duck gift sharing campaign once a year? Not necessary need to be a xmas campaign. We can wait until you update the shopping cart process with the feature 😬
Each user can buy ducks for other users. You can contact the recipients for the address if you don't have yet and do the delivery.26 -
!rant (maybe somewhat drunk)
I'm a moderate gamer, and I like online gaming (battlefront, rocket league, that kind of stuff). And I can say that from all online communities i've seen, devRant is by far the less toxic one, being actually extremely nice.
Most dev communities i've been part of are extremely competitive, but devRant is all about sharing and caring.
A big bravo to you all, and thanks!6 -
@trogus @dfox
Can we have support for
```
snipets
```
Doesn't even need syntax highlight, just the <pre> behavior.
In support of my request, I know this isn't code sharing but we still quote code and commands alot.
It would be a nice differentiation.13 -
I just launched a small web service/app. I know this looks like a promo thing, but it's completely non-profit, open source and I'm only in it for the experience. So...
Introducing: https://gol.li
All this little app offers is a personal micro site that lists all your social network profiles. Basically share one link for all your different profiles. And yes, it includes DevRant of course. :)
There's also an iframe template for easy integration into other web apps and for the devs there's a super simple REST GET endpoint for inclusion of the data in your own apps.
The whole thing is on GitHub and I'd be more than happy for any kind of contribution. I'm looking forward to adding features like more personalization, optimizing stuff and fixing things. Also any suggestions on services you'd like see. Pretty much anything that involves a public profile goes.
I know this isn't exactly world changing, but it's just a thing I wanted to do for some time now, getting my own little app out there.9 -
*How to graduate in style*

I've been training a client for a few months now to not use Slack for sharing passwords and other secure materials.
I really thought I had made great progress. I even had him using a password manager. Then out of nowhere he sends the wildcard SSL key pair to me and a handful of other devs in a Slack thread.
At least we aren't storing important information like medical records. Oh wait, that's exactly what we're doing.6 -

I hired 2 fresh out of school junior devs to work with me on my old web app.
They were brilliant, knew a lot of things, and were motivated.
They started complaining about how the code was shit, the db was shit, there were no best practices, the technology was old, bug fixing was boring, no comments in code.
I felt bad, very bad during 3 years, because they were absolutely right. I tried to work with them through better coding practices, rewriting, documenting etc.
Now they both have left.
I'm alone maintaining and evolving the application.
And I start to come across the code THEY developed.
What a bunch of shit. SQL queries bringing down the server. Duplicate code, because they didn't want even read the old one. Useless comments.
Performance killing functions. Exceptions swallowed without mercy. I have to clean up they poop.
I feel somewhat better, though. The application is still growing and holding the ground after many years and generating at least 800K$ per year in revenues.
Maybe better, but sad. I really wanted to share the project with somebody else but I failed, and I'm left alone....12 -
So recently I started swiping on Tinder again, after some years of staying away from it. Now that's all fine, right?
But there's another dating platform that I used long long ago, Zoosk. I didn't even know that I had an account on it anymore, and they've never reminded me of it either. But guess what got in my mailbox this morning.. 32 singles that you'll definitely like!
Now how does Zoosk know that I'm on dating sites again.. maybe Tinder? 🤔
You know what, Tinder wanketeers? Fuck you. Sharing my personal data like that. Shame on you!!!5 -

Not entirely sure if should be said an IT company but yes I would mention SHAREit.
The well known file sharing software, I remember using it most of the times for file sharing between my Android devices, it previously was only meant for "File Sharing" but now they're just more into ads, video recommendations, news etc etc "useless stuffs".
I mean who the hell in this world would like to open a file sharing app for trending WhatsApp video recommendations? Getting notifications in a language unknown to me? Who has even asked you all for this.
I know ads gives you profit but atleast not the trending movies and all for a file sharing app.
It was good overall in the start but now not they're not working in a way they used to.
PS: image below is a SHAREit notification for someone doing black magic on a kid. See, stupid stuff! not even a news to be read just fake stuff. Atleast show some serious ads or else just rollback to your previous version.7 -

Haxk20 here.
You probably dont know if you dont know me but i have created that stupid school project.
Now that i finally released source code for it. (Finally took me fucking time)
Im starting to polish it up a little bit and also make the code just better.
I probably havent explained what it is even.
Well its Arduino Based P2P network using LoRa as the main communication device and Bluetooth so you can use Smartphone to send data to it.
Really simple indeed but really powerful.
The project got turned down in competition as it didnt have "modules" they said. They wanted to make it device you could use in home to boil your coffee or some shit. Like IoT isnt enough now.
Kind of glad that it didnt win because that idea was horrible.
OK now thats out of the way.
If you want to contribute to it you can do so here: https://gitlab.com/Haxk20/...
Schematics, PCB design and boards used will be on there in few days. School is taking some time so i dont have much time to do it now.
Oh yeah and it also needs better name but well im terrible at naming things as you can see by the name of that project.1 -
What kind of music do you guys listen too when you're coding? I need recommendations!
I can't do anything with English lyrics (other languages are fine. As long as I don't understand the lyrics, it's not distracting), so I usually stick to instrumental like animals as leaders, polyphia, Chon, etc or German metal: Rammstein, oomph, wbtbwb, etc
Whatcha guys got?25 -

Hello devRant!!
Just released a small little app to share links to your PC directly from your device (Linker).
It uses a Java server running on your PC so there are no middle-men. Everything is open source and on my GitHub.
It's currently in alpha. Basically:
1. Run server on your PC (no UI ATM so run in a console) - defaults: 0.0.0.0:8090
2. Add the server IP-Port in the Android app
3. Share a link from any app through linker
4. Magic 😎
Below are the links if anyone likes the idea and wants to try it out (UI is crap I know! - I had very little time to work on it)

Every day I am reminded that some people just refuse to be helped. Today I saw an article in a prominent Facebook WordPress group I belong to. The author was sharing tips on how to improve presentation skills at WordPress conferences. One tip was to ensure no spelling errors exist in your slides. But the article itself, and the author’s bio, had five spelling errors. I pointed that out in the comments. Aaaaaand now I’ve been kicked out of the group.

Never expected to have such a great experience. -
I am just wondering.
Have you guys ever sleep walked?
How was the experience and where did you end up waking up at?11 -
Bought a product using Apple Pay at the grocery store, by the time I got home Facebook was advertising to me the same product. Really? Is there a Facebook+ApplePay link sharing my purchasing data?3

Why don’t you like sharing your salary with coworkers? I tell people exactly what I am paid if the conversation comes up. It helps to know where you stand, i.e. if you’re being under paid or if you should ask for more in the next review cycle.7

Productivity is at an all time low because last night just before sleeping I fought with my girlfriend for sharing a click bait link on her Facebook.6

I will be starting to work on another of my project/idea from today.
A cross platform application very similar to Slack, but much more simple and free of unnecessary features.
It would have most of the below functionalities and will respect users' privacy.
E-mail server and client
Contacts
Calendar
To-Do listing
Reminders
Notepad
Bookmarker
Password manager
IM
File sharing
Screen sharing
Audio and Video calling
I will be starting with wire-frames today and then design the logic around.
I am just confused to whether make it a self hosted product (but then people who are not technically sound will not use it or avoid the hassle), Open Source, Libre, Freeware or economically proprietary to manage server expenses.
I would love to have your feedback/opinion on this project of mine.
Thank you! :)13 -
I have a great job, working on interesting projects with good, competent people.
But sharing an office is slowly driving me insane.7 -
So today I started working on a code base someone else wrote and stubled across this and thought it was worth sharing.
Why somebody would be doing something like this is beyond my understanding.
Not commenting on the empty catch block keep in mind the whole snippet has nothing to do with rest of the code...
WHY!!!!!?!?!?!?!14 -
Windows 10 why you turn on my PC at night and then doing your restart for update AND AFTER THAT YOU CANT HIBERNATE PC LIKE IT WAS? YOU DUMBASS IM SLEEPING RIGHT NEXT TO THAT BEAST. I WANT SILENCE. Linux users pls rant with me. Thank you devrant, now I can go to sleep after sharing my frustration.12

If you expect someone to help you with your errors/bugs, at least get some proper logs and explain what you tried that didn't work. Don't just spam them with pictures of errors or "something is wrong. Please fix".
I've seen people taking pics of their monitors. Half the code is eligible due to the glare -_-. At least take the effort of posting your code somewhere and sharing a link. GitHub would be the best go IMO3 -
Wishing their was an ability to save images and gifs for sharing later....
I know we can share rants but sometimes sharing things as images are easier then a dev link -
what hosting provider do you guys use? I don't host any of my projects online yet and I wanna get started. I mainly wanna use it for PHP / Symfony stuff, nothing that uses humongous amounts of resources.8

Used to have FiOS at the office. Apparently someone thought we were having "issues" with the connection, so for a week we were sharing off a neighbor's connection while they found a new vendor and got it set up.

Me: Yeah sure, let me have a look.

Just started learning Docker. The thing that seemed complex a week ago has started to unwrap the wonders it holds. Hope to make it work to ease up some of the team's deployment headache. Though there were hurdles related to firewall, company intranet, network antivirus, domain sharing etc. But managed to resolve it today.2

But i like sharing.
So i hated stout. But recently i had a kid and my partners parents are from England. Back in the day, breastfeeding mums used to drink light stout, because the yeast helped to boost milk production.
Well i buy beer every week and run out of it by wednesday. So at my disgust i started drinking stout.
Now my brestfeeding partner complains coz i drink all her beer ;)9 -

@dfox @trogus would you guys mind sharing some statistics on devRant? I've been very curious about the following metrics:

Sharing my colleague's recent experience..

My partner decided to handle sales/marketing part and asked for 50:50 profit sharing, then finally it came to a mutually agreeable ratio 60:40 share of a project.
On the week after I've made few of the prototypes with modularized codebase. My partner dropped me this, "hey the project is cancelled. We ain't getting any payment"

I feel a bit like shit.
I started a new job about 2 months ago. Company is great, culture is amazing, project is interesting, processes are what i always dreamed.
This is after having learned the job from scratch at a startup that was all you can imagine. Tedious, hoping to be something that was not yet and so on....
So we are coming at the last week of a sprint. Its Tuesday and most stories are competed. We dont have a culture of jumping on others PR, its kind of like this is my PR kind of mentality. This is not established its more like an untold rule. But coming to the end i figured, especially if i knew exactly how to fix the PR that o should jump in a make it happen.
Person who owns those prs unassigned themselves from those and added me instead kind of like: “well take it if you want it....”
What are your rules regarding others prs and sprints?4 -
I understand devs find it hard to say "I dont know" because our job is about not knowing then knowing through our own accord, but damn, when you dont know. Let that be known, you may be directed or helped. Both you and the task requester will have a good time. And better expectations set.
Say it with me... "I dont know, but-will-look-into-it"
You might hear something nice like "here are some pointers"3 -
Client wants to see his project so he can provide its content.
The product where this is based upon should be a monthly edition of grouped articles.
I've yet to see content for their concept or even legal text that makes sense.
Same person has no idea of the full concept of what he's asking, imho ending up in a Ponzi (which I've switched to a somewhat more logical system, which just might work, but just isn't a get rich quick scheme anymore as he likes to portray it).
Should I just put on a blank page and be done with it, either way?
- Either he gets it, that he needs to fill up the website's content himself
- or he's mad, that I didn't finish the job (while he's the one needing to provide at this point) -
I should wait a bit longer before sharing this but looks like I am going to get a fulltime contracting position in a company that develops Netflix-like on-premises solutions for global brands, TV channels and telcos. Byebye e-commerce and WordPress, Welcome JS, React and Haxe. So excited this morning.3

Anyone know private/encrypted p2p network drive app (best would be opensource) between devices in the internet, with multiple user support, invite only ?
It should work behind nat so need use some 3rd party hole punching server for handshakes.
Let’s say I got a movie I want to share with my friend but instead of him downloading it, I would stream it directly from my device and my friend would open it using ex vlc.
Same with other files, on computer can be mounted as network drive.
Or small app with drag drop or cli to add / remove shared directories.
Can be raspberry pi device.
Thinking more, it should work like vpn network but with tunnels between computers.
Can it be done using ipfs ?1 -
I started an e2e encrypted Dropbox clone, meaning file names and contents get encrypted client side prior to uploading. Thankfully I've been lucky enough to work with many brilliant people. The best being the ones who are enthusiastic about sharing tips, tricks and helpful advice to new people. Little pieces of advice from old colleagues have followed me throughout my career, for sure.
By contrast, people who sit in a dark corner, bemoaning everything and being completely unwilling to help can have enough negative impact to cause talented people to leave. -

When I was working on my dissertation project. I was implementing a video sharing platform. Using Dropwizard for REST. I wrote the entire endpoint for uploading a video in one session. I was just taking a stab at how i thought it could work. Tested it in Postman expecting to get some kind of error.
And it worked first time. -

I just came from a 3rd interview with a company. I don't know how I did really, they asked me to make a .net mvc project in 6 hours, when they know I've never used .net at all.
I had to learn the thing during the assessment, so I think I really did better than what one would expect. But I could've nailed it have I used something I'm more familiar with... I don't even know how to use the ide.
I learned quite some things, but then again it wasn't about learning, but about doing
Just felt like sharing really. Never felt so confused after an interview before. I did really good, but not really... haha

Change is truly a difficult thing. I've been trying to introduce my group colleagues to GitHub, I even gave them some tutorials that I used. I'm not saying I know everything about Git or GitHub but the pros of using it or any VCS outweigh using Google drive, zipping and email each other the code and many other creative ways of sharing work. Let's just say two months have passed there haven’t been any change ☹2

As V1.0 I found Allo quite fine. Google assistant is so cool answering a lot of questions that you would rather switch to chrome and browse Google search results etc.. About encryption issues, I'm not a CIA agent and I have no problem if they use my data to improve the app utility. That's what AI and machine learning are all about. And please, don't tell me that Facebook or other services don't store your conversations. What is missing is SMS/MMS support and a Desktop client, that's it.1

If what I'm trying to learn is visual, video tutorials are useful. When it comes to programming, it sometimes wastes my time. Watching a 5-minute video to accomplish one simple thing? I could never get that time back! You can spend half of the duration of the video introducing yourself but I am already frustrated. I prefer documentation and hands-on most of the time. Just sharing my thoughts. Thanks.3

Hi, as a developer turned tester I was wondering if anyone here would hear a talk about what on earth testers actually do in a project and how they contribute to the product? I mean besides writing automation scripts or checking if all the requirements are met (the latter is really the most boring part of testing).
I am thinking of doing a talk on this but don't know if Devs might be interested and which conferences I should target.2 -

So dumb that in the name of code review , he spent hours just to understand your code while sharing screen then can only make changes in method and class signature .2 -

It seems like this is a major topic of debate lately, so I'd like to make the official Torrent vs. Buy rant post.
With torrent hosting sites being pulled down left and right, some say it's for the best of the economy, while others stand for the internet freedom of sharing intellectual property.
How do you stand?9 -

Usually if I delete chrome all my browser cookies i will be signed out of my google account. I'll by mistake do this more often during hangouts client call screen sharing session.
Now clear all my browser cookies stuff still not getting signed out.
When does this change occur 🤔1 -

Not programming related, kind of...
I don't want to seem like I'm sharing nosense but I guess this sort of thing would be popular with devs / gamers

Dev and QA environments are housed on AWS servers, both sharing the same API code. Dev API is unable to connect, while QA is able to connect just fine. How does this happen 😱

New software unveiled at the CES could track down on password sharing on streaming platforms. The program uses “machine learning” so that the platform will improve as it is being used, helping to further identifying “consumption patterns.”

OSX users: What's your preferred mail app? I know I can use the web for that but I'd prefer a native solution because of the system integration (notifications, sharing).
The default Mail app is too primitive. I also tried Postbox but it always felt a bit rough and with today's paid update I think I may as well try to find a better alternative.
So, what are your suggestions and why?6
