You know what?
Young cocky React devs can suck my old fuckin LAMP and Objective-C balls.
Got a new freelance job and got brought in to triage a React Native iOS/Android app. Lead dev's first comment to me is: "Bro, have you ever used React Native".
To which I had to reply to save my honor publicly, "No, but I have like 8 years with Objective-C and 3 years with Swift, and 3 years with Node, so I maybe I'll still be able help. Sometimes it just helps to have a fresh set of eyes."
"Well, nobody but me can work on this code."
And that, as it turned out was almost true.
After going back and forth with our PM and this dev I finally get his code base.
"Just run "npm install" he says".
Like no fuckin shit junior... lets see if that will actually work.
Node 14... nope whole project dies.
Node 12 LTS... nope whole project dies.
Install all of react native globally because fuck it, try again... still dies.
Node 10 LTS... project installs but still won't run or build complaining about some conflict with React Native libraries and Cocoa pods.
Go back to my PM... "Um, this project won't work on any version of Node newer than about 5 years old... and even if it did it still won't build, and even if it would build it still runs like shit. And even if we fix all of that Apple might still tell us to fuck off because it's React Native.
Spend like a week in npm and node hell just trying to fucking hand install enough dependencies to unfuck this turds project.
All the while the original dev is still trying TO FIX HIS OWN FUCKING CODE while also being a cocky ass the entire time. Now, I can appreciate a cocky dev... I was horrendously cocky in my younger days and have only gotten marginally better with age. But if you're gonna be cocky, you also have to be good at it. And this guy was not.
Lo, we're not done. OG Dev comes down with "Corona Virus"... I put this in quotes because the dude ends up drawing out his "virus" for over 4 months before finally putting us in touch with "another dev team he sometimes uses".
Next, me and my PM get on a MS Teams call with this Indian house. No problems there, I've worked with the Indians before... but... these are guys are not good. They're talking about how they've already built the iOS build... but then I ask them what they did to sort out the ReactNative/Cocoa Pods conflict and they have no idea what I'm talking about.
Well, one of these suckers sends a link to some repo and I find out why. When he sends the link it exposes his email...
This Indian dude's emails was email@example.com...
We'd been played.
Company sued the shit out of the OG dev and the Indian company he was selling off his work to.
I rewrote the app in Swift.
So, lets review... the React dev fucked up his own project so bad even he couldn't fix it... had to get a team of Indians to help who also couldn't fix it... was still a dickhead to me when I couldn't fix it... and in the end it was all so broken we had to just do a rewrite.
None of you get npm. None of you get React. None of you get that doing the web the way Mark Zucherberg does it just makes you a choad locked into that ecosystem. None of you can fix your own damn projects when one of the 6,000 dependency developers pushes breaking changes. None of you ever even bother with "npm audit fix" because if security was a concern you'd be using a server side language for fucking server side programming like a grown up.
Mine are still working.35
A small story on digitalization
I had spent an hour in the bank with my dad, as he had to transfer some money. I couldn't resist myself & asked:
Dad, why don't we activate your internet banking?
''Why would I do that?'' He asked, ''Well, then you wont have to spend an hour here for things like transfer.
You can even do your shopping online. Everything will be so easy!
I was so excited about initiating him into the world of Net banking.
He asked, If I do that, I wont have to step out of the house?
''Yes, yes''! I said. I told him how even grocery can be delivered at door now and how amazon delivers everything!
His answer left me tongue-tied.
He said ''Since I entered this bank today, I have met four of my friends, I have chatted a while with the staff who know me very well by now.
Two years back I got sick, The store owner from whom I buy fruits, came to see me and sat by my bedside and cried.
When u r Mom fell down few days back while on her morning walk. Our local grocer saw her and immediately got his car to rush her home as he knows where I live.
Would I have that 'human' touch if everything became online?
I like to know the person that I'm dealing with and not just the 'seller'. It creates bonds. Relationships.
Does "online" deliver all this as well?
Technology isn't life #BeHuman
For those who are not getting the context, this things happen in India. It is truth not a fact.17
Working with different nationalities is interesting, and sometimes kind of bewildering. And tiring.
I've been working with an Indian dev for a little while, and while she's a decent dev, interactions with her sometimes leave me a little puzzled. She glazes over serious topics, totally over-sensationalizes unimportant oddities, has yet to say the word "no," and she refers to the senior devs as (quote) "the legends." Also, when asked a question by her boss, like "Are you familiar with this?" Instead of a simple yes/no answer, she shows off a little. Fair, I do this sometimes too, but it's a regular thing with her. Also, like most Indians I've known and/or worked with, she has a very strict class-and-caste view of the world. It honestly makes me a little uncomfortable with how she views people, like certain people belong in certain boxes, how some boxes (and therefore their contents) are inherently better than others, and how it's difficult or simply impossible to move between boxes. My obviously westerner view of things is that you can pick where you want to be and what you want to do, and all it takes to get there is acquiring the proper skills and putting in the required effort. I see no boxes at all, just a sprawling web of trades/specialities. And those legends she talks about? They're good devs with more knowledge than me, but only one, maybe two of them are better devs. I see them as coworkers and leads, not legends. Legends would be the likes of Ada Lovelace, Dennis Ritchie, Yukihuro Matsumoto, and Satoshi Nakamoto. (Among others, obv.). To call a lead dev a legend is just strange to me, unless they're actually deserving, but we don't work with anyone like Wozniak or Carmack.
Since I'm apparently ranting about her a little, let me continue. She's also extremely difficult to understand. Not because of her words or her accent, but I can't ever figure out what she's trying to get across. The words fit together and make valid sentences, but the sentences don't often make sense with one another, and all put together... I'm just totally lost. To be a math nerd, like the two conversations are skew lines: very similar, but can never intersect. What's more, if I say I don't understand and ask for clarification, she refuses and says she doesn't want to confuse me further, and to just do what I think is best. It's incredibly frustrating.
Specifically, we're trying to split up functionality on a ticket -- she's part of a different dev team (accounting), and really should own the accounting portion since she will be responsible for it, but there's no clear boundary in the codebase. Trying to discuss this has been... difficult.
Sometimes other cultures' world views are just puzzling, or even kind of alien. This Irish/Chinese guy stayed at my parents' house for a week. He had red hair, and his facial features were about 3/4 Chinese. He looked strange and really interesting. I can't really explain it, but interacting with him felt like talking to basically any other guy I've known, except sometimes his mannerisms and behavior were just shockingly strange and unexpected, and he occasionally made so little sense to me that I was really taken aback.
This Chinese manager I had valued appearances and percieved honors more than anything else. He cared about punctuality and attire more than productivity. Instead of giving raises for good work or promotions, he would give fancy new titles and maybe allow you to move your desk somewhere with a better view of your coworkers. Not somewhere nicer; somewhere more prominent. How he made connections between concepts was also very strange, like the Chinese/Irish guy earlier. The site templating system was a "bridge?" Idk? He also talked luck with his investors (who were also Chinese), and they would often take the investment money to the casino to see if luck was in the company's favor. Not even kidding.
Also! the Iranian people I've known. They've shown very little emotion, except occasionally anger. If I tried to appease them, they would spurn and insult me, but if I met their anger, they would immediately return to being calm, and always seemed to respect me more afterward. Again, it's a little puzzling. By contrast, meeting an American's anger often makes them dislike you, and exceeding it tends to begin a rivalry.
It's neat seeing how people of different nationalities have different perspectives and world views and think so very differently. but it can also be a little tiring always having to translate and to switch behavior styles, sometimes even between sentences.
It's also frustrating when we simply cannot communicate despite having a language in common.25
In India we don't go rubber duck debugging. We debug with God 😂😂😂 (For non Indians that is Ganesha, one of the famous Hindu god. Said to be the god of knowledge and hence engineering by extension )18
Indians in a nutshell...
X feature is unavailable in the paid version.
But X = a + b + c in other free softwares.
I want to thank every Indian computer scientist on Youtube. Because of these guys I passed my Algorithms and Data Structures Exam.10
Okay, just because I'm the only one under 35, single, and only white/hispanic guy on this team doesn't give you the right to interrupt me mid sentence IN my meeting. No disrespect to the developers from India and this may just be a culture conflict where I am outnumbered in my company but I don't understand the how some of these guys can't just be polite or respect others opinions(this is just from my experience with 90 or so developers from India and I don't believe in blanketing all Indians as this way just these 90 plus I do love the food).
Don't hijack MY meeting and then completely derail where I was going and disregard my solution without listening to the whole thing for an idea that isn't even solution but adds more work for both parties involved. You may have been working here for 5 years, but I worked in the actual department where we're building the new process and solution to a problem I've worked on. I understand the user since I WAS ONCE THAT USER for a good 8 months. And on top of that you can barely code efficient, or complex SQL statements. You're nothing more than fucking script kiddies and this whole IT department is joke. I apologize if the rant isn't really that coherent, I'm not very good at typing rants with my adrenaline running hot.14
I was made owner of the GitHub repo in my team.
I am the second guy with rights to merge to master.
Soo happy 😬7
So here's the story about a big Fuck up by a TRAI chief in India
He posted an open challenge on twitter:
"Here's my 12 digit Aadhar card (social security no for Indians) number. Show me if you can do any harm to me. "
And Twitter obliged, a French hacker aliased @fs0c131y (Elliot Alderson) took the challenge and he started posting his phone number, email, and other personal stuff on twitter.
Still the official thinks he's safe and no harm has been done to him! He openly says, "Even if you get my bank account no what can you do?"11
Rant for Indians
Who the hell gives you joining in the Diwali week. Half of the office has taken holiday so that they can go home. My orientation/induction might also get cancelled because of lack of personnel. And her i am stuck in a new city away from home for one of the major festival in India.14
Companies think that Indians are so stupid that they are trying to sell their phone by depicting that the NOTCH is a Fucking FEATURE 😭😖😠😡.26
There is a mark on the whiteboard hanging behind my desk that says:
"Days without people walking on <me> doing something weird"
Thus far. The head of the department has walked on me making fun of Indians(I make fun of everyone, my indian brothas from another mothas don't be upset, I particularly make fun of Mexicans), going on a monologue about how the white ranger rules supreme. Why Mario could totally destroy Mickey Mouse in a fight, why my manager is secretly in love with me(with her listening intently into my reasons) and singing the bad touch going "mimi"...dude just make mimi sound like words and you'll get what I mean.
Sometimes the dude just pauses by my desk to check if I am saying anything stoopid.
Work can be really funny sometimes.11
Woke up this morning to a fucking giant snowstorm and my first reaction was 'fml' , poured some coffee , lit a smoke and started checking my work mail 'Issue xxxx response : Not solvable '...what the...I go through the files on my phone , look at what that issue was : lack of proper validation , filtering and encoding of input thus enabling xss . Not solvable my ass ...simply adding literally 3 more characters to that fucking retarded filter would stop all the bypasses . This issue is a showstopper for their project and that is what they answer ?
Sorry to indians out here but some of your colleagues are as stupid and unimaginative as they can possibly ever come .8
A cs degree without indians explaining concepts on Youtube would be much harder. These guys savede so many times.5
why do ,,,,,,,,u indians ............ Write like this ,,,,,,,,,,,................... ...... ?? ? ????9
Why do people regard their phone as iPhone when they buy a iPhone like 'Where's my iPhone' instead of just 'Where's my phone'? I've never seen anyone yelling 'Where's my Android'. I've mostly seen this among Indians.6
I dunno how I landed on an Indian web series known as Mr Das. Yo...Indians and Mexicans are very much alike. I would say that yo streets are dirtier and messier, but in terms of overal work life balance and day to day shit we are pretty alike.
Yall get stuck in traffic, so do we.
Yall get shit bosses, so do we.
Yall have shit government, so do we.
But man, y'all be scamming people on the phone, we prefer selling drugs and killing each other.
And we both brown.
I ain't that brown tho4
I'm a developer with scrum master certification but the company wanted me to use their existing google spreadsheet for managing the tasks of 60 developers. I study agile for nothing. Kill me now please. I'm out.5
My coleague's story
- before leaving after long day at the office final look at support cases (after official support hours)
- sev1 ticket logged an hour ago, noone called us (although should have; after support hours)
- angry manager calls and demands to get in touch with the client immediately (we're already after support hours, FTS should pick the case, not us)
- we reach out. Customer has business-impacting case
- after initial info gathering: some cert got expired, they got a new one and placed it in the app's directory. The app still does not work
- the first question we ask: "are you sure you have placed it in the right directory?"
- "yes, we are sure. No problems there" - answers a voice with indian accent
- noone finds the root cause for hours.
- It's already 1am
- someone from client's specialists comes up with an idea: "are we sure the cert is in the right place? Let's try to move it to the same directory the old one was in the first place"
- production is working again
- "Why didn't anyone from support suggest this?!?!"
- 2am. Case solved, manager is informed everything's allright now.
- In the morning we get yelled at by the manager bcz we supposedly missed a sev1 ticket and were incompetent during the conf. call
This reminds me why I stay away from support. And why I started hating people. And why I do not work with indians (our ways are too different for me to stay sane and not to kill anyone).3
Too many spaces dedicated to programming are flooded with web-oriented anal bleeding. My guess would be this is a byproduct of their meaningless existence. Because everytime they say a "product" or "project" they mean "website", how fucking boring. Another stupid page begging me to turn off adblock, bitch like I'm gonna. No, I don't want your cookies. No, I don't give a single fuck about your newsletter. Fuck off with this login. Your search feature is broken, your popups are annoying and I'm just here to snag a snippet. Stop making it so inconvenient you fucking piece of shit.
And I'm not even implying my anus doesn't bleed. Heck, I'll bleed through my asshole, eyes, ears and mother fucking urethra more than you ever could. I am in fact the worldwide, undisputed, heavyweight GRAND CHAMPION of inter-rectal hemorrhage. Key differences being I'm not paid to do this and there isn't upwards of a thousand people automatically screwed over every time I fuck up. So it's that versus what, overpaid and consistently taking a shit on every last user? Now you WISH the eye of your ass had mine's propensity for intense bleeding.
Bottom line, no matter how much I pay for better internet, your "projects" just keep getting slower and slower. You tell me who's to blame here, eh. I wouldn't know what that is but something is clearly wrong, and I don't buy that it's some deadline pushing coke-snorting executive anymore. I've been on the internet long enough to know most programmers are either arabs or indians with a thick accent or know next to fucking nothing about what they do. And since I'm sudaka halfbreed allahu akbar up in this bitch I'm pretty sure what stinks in here isn't my fucking yabrak.
Yayah, you might not deserve this much hate but I'll give it to you anyway, free of charge. I'm angry at your "product", man. So I'm angry at YOU. You make MONEY from that piece of shit. And I'm unemployed. I've been awake for almost thirty hours working on an interface that's only text, 24x64 characters, trying not to think about what the fuck I'm going to do. And the code works as intended but I'm about to lose my fucking mind regardless. I need sleep and can't get it because I'm high as fuck on amphetamine I mistook for aspirin. Don't you hate when that happens?
PS I'll cum my fucking balls out down your throat if you ask me to register just to click on a dead link. That is all.14
How come the majority of technical/programming videos on youtube is made by asian indians? I don't have anything against them. Some of them are possible to understand.
And i know there is native english speaking people that do tech/programming videos on youtube but its just so few!
I say "asian indians" so it wont be confused with native americans.17
In Malaysia for some reason Chinese and Indians are considered as outsider. Some Malays are considering themselves are native (actually the Orang Asli are the native). Many politicians attempt to even startled a racial fight against the non- Malays. My country is operated by a closed system. Most Dutch , US companies are leaving Malaysia due to the unfairness.
Before this I worked in a Dutch company in Malaysia , where lately the company declare bankruptcy as my respectable boss told me what happened. Later I learnt, in order for a foreigner to start a company in Malaysia , a transaction of transfering have of the company assets and name under an assigned Malay man by the government.
The racism here is real and crazy. It is no surprise most Malaysian migrating to Taiwan, China Singapore , Thailand and some western countries.
I hate racism. Recently I heard news about western countries still have the hatred against Asians which I abort the idea of migrating there. But in my country Asians are hating other kind of Asians before for being different Asian.
May be I should just get my arse back to Mongolia (where my ancestors will be )7
This morning, i showed the communication manager how to use Photoshop (layer, image resize).
A year ago, I worked on the website, it has never been put online. The company's users never provided the content.
This afternoon, other people asked me where the site was, one year after!
I don't know whether to laugh of cry.
Ps : I'm sorry, my english level is low. I speak english as a cow speaks spanish.2
First wikipedia asks me donation. Then tells me facts 98% Indians do not donate. And when I try to donate, it doesn't let me donate without PAN. I am a student.6
I'm in a situation here, I had an idea for an app and I started coding it. Since I'm a front end developer I find it not amusing to do the backend part. I then started to share the idea and such with good classmate (not a coder). I then made him join me on this adventure. After a lot of coding he said he wanted to contribute with something since I'm coding all day and he's not. Then we agreed freelancing the back end part.
Some time later we got a pretty good deal on some Indians doing the whole app. I thought to myself "this feels kinda good!" so we went on with the freelancer.
Days went to months and we finally got the app back. I did a mistake of paying him all the milestones without testing the app in its wholeness, later finding out that one part of the login system didn't work. That lead to a deeper debug to find out that the core function of the app was commented out.. I then wrote the freelancer back with minimal and slow response.
Now the deadline of the app is like in 2 months. If not we miss a whole year.
My classmate knows about this and he's the one who played for the freelancing. Now we have talked about me doing the whole backend myself.
The only issue I have now is that I feel like he's just sitting home doing nothing other than flashing money around and me busting my ass of writing code that I really am not good at. (basically learning more than coding)
But he played a lot of money for this.. So I feel kinda bad for him.
Thomas had never seen such bullshit before (Insert name of that guy, who thinks Apple is hyped, and needs better password resets).
Honestly, when people say Indians are shit devs and write shit code, I could not really relate to that. I am an Indian, and I see pretty well educated, telented devs around.
Now I know why everyone else feels so.
I am sorry for his doings, people like him are the reason everybody hates us24
I'm on a whole new level of getting ass fucked now:
I type "We'd be interested to learn more about..." and motherfuckin gmail sends "We'd be interesting to learn more about..."
Lemme guess, """AI""" """machine learning""" auto-correct? Did it learn from how the majority of users spell? Like, indians? Nice going, fucktards. I hope you suck cocks in hell.3
Yesterday I went to pool campus recruitment drive and there were 3 rounds
1. Written aptitude test
2. Group Discussion
3. F2F interview
Cleared first round and got selected for second round out of like 80 students. (15-18 got selected)
Went to group discussion first topic was "Donald Trump Administration is threat to IT for Indian or not" and the all were saying he stopped giving visa to Indians, there is no opportunity for us there because of him and I was like wtf... And they think because of Trump, Indian people from Infosys got kicked out hahahaha wtf is this.
Second was how AI and Digitalization can help in growth of nation.
And again those girls hahahah one girl said by using AI we can make new technology and can explore galaxies. What the fathafucking fuck!!
And YES THEY GOT SELECTED.
(Whole HR team was non technical)5
I have a project idea:
Web app that will automatically generate random like-a-facebook project ideas that will handle the buisness side and automatically post that offer on multiple forums, linkedin and send email with it. All using AI, Nural Networks, Big Data and VR.
Seriously, once fucking more some african or indian guy messages me to work for his awesome "its like a facebook but different" idea where he needs "just backend, frontend and mobile apps" and that he will just "handle the rest" and that "have no money now but after I sign a NDA he will give me some shares", I am gonna find him and shit on his head. Monday did not even ended yet and I already read 9 "offers" like this on my mail and facebook, only one guy white, rest indians or africans.
Why are then people suprised that we consider black and indian devs as a fucking joke 90% of the time. I have a indian dev friend and he could not find a dev job for 2 months, because everyone would rather work with less skilled asian / white guy than indian / black guy. This is not about racism, but about those retards that are acting like idiots. Hope I did not offend anyone (unless you do shit like this, then, please just smash your keyboard over your head).
Words like AI and neural networks are used just to lure the investors to our gofundme campain and steal their money after 2 years of silence.1
I fucking hate those cringy Indians commenting dogshit on almost every youtube video. Never have I even seen anyone more dumb than these retards. Almost every programming tutorial on youtube is infested with "plese sir pls teach me hw to hck i wnt to be a hckr" and "sir my phone no is xxxx and my email id is xxxx send me the cod plz". I mean even on css tutorial videos? seriously? No other third world country has such boneheads. I just hope each and every retard like this drops dead the moment they write stuff like this.11
So we started using Jenkins at work. Which is pretty cool so i wanted to watch some YouTube videos about it in my spare time.
But 99% of those videos are made by Indians and they are probably good videos but i just can't handle the accent. =/9
If you want to see the level of stupidity some indians have, see the reviews on snapchat's android app on play store in the last day or two.7
I work as part of a small international team in a big corp , we work product quality of sorts but work closer to dev than qa , last week we found several giant issues and reported them in . Dev and Qa teams of said project are Indians . Meeting starts , two of my colleagues are indian as well , so dev , qa and all the other involved parties from india decided they should join in from the same conference room . My manager(he's a brit) presents the issues . Dev manager starts talking , qa manager talks over him , they start to formally yell at one another . One of them (couldn't figure out which one) started asking my two colleagues which one of them found these issues . At this point I had already passed a headphone to my ex-colleague who still sits next to me , he looks at me when he hears the question . I panic . Colleagues say they don't know (*phu* I didn't CC them in emails and my manager didn't tell them ) . My manager tells them to calm down , take responsibility and find solutions else he'll veto the product back into fullblown development . Other managers start growling and fighting again (more than 10 people were in the same room arguing) me and my ex-colleague decide to go take a coffee since I didn't have a saying in the meeting . We get back 10 minutes later , indians are still arguing over my manager trying to explain the issues a 4th time . I IM my manager and ask to drop the meeting , he gave me the ok and I dropped out, my head was hurting after an hour long meeting of angry indians arguing in a conference room and it kept hurting the whole day...yeah...meetings...fun time...
Clearly automated vehicles are not ready for India. As a human I can say the person is trying to explain the no parking sign through words. Systems have to be trained to judge these too :O5
Since I already got fired I don't have problems start uploading my tutorials at the middle of next month...
First... Where should I put them? I'll Make a written tutorial, and Video tutorials, so I need a good cheap web provider and some places like Instructables, but I would like the possibility of gaining some money with some of the stuff.
Btw, Already have one... Maby some can help?
I have an unmounted HDD (3 pins or 4 pins, must work: With no driver and no extras... I know it's possible, just can't find the Information. Then I'll make a video on how to make the same thing with chips (not MCUs) and finally with MCUs). Since there isn't much information around there about this, would be a great 3/4 video tutorial.
I know I can make it work without the board or drivers since I already saw two Indians doing it on youtube, just couldn't understand them and the video quality is shit.
Shit will probably my first Video, but I need to find ways first.
One of the tools I already made: https://youtube.com/watch/...
The problem is using a 300w power supply for tools that require so low power.
I fucking hating working as a subcontractor (hopefully the right term). The interesting things are always given to locals and we just do the fucking day-to-day bugfixing shit.
And due to the fact that we are not in the same city, we are suspected to cheat on the billing just because I made some presentations for the company I'm directly working for (and for which I have an internal budget)
Just go Fuck yourself. Maybe some Indians want do the boring shit (no offense to India)
Chrome it's shit. I have been brainstorming in the CSS on a flexbox and its height of 100%.
My website works under Firefox.
The code to win tonight.
And you? You use which browser?15
Recently south Indians are furious because of hindi language used (along with English and Kannad(one of the languages used in south India) ) on metro station board.
About to get my first taste of income soon. It's 6th today, Indians could never do anything punctually even if they tried...2
Indians are misusing their power of population. With that much population we can do much better things but we are just down voting apps.
Every platform has good and bad content. TikTok has good content too if you follow right profiles.
PS: Earlier I liked when govt. ban TikTok in India but after using it, I realised it has good content too with some bad one and it is true for every platform.9
I work in software testing and I hate it. Also my job is full of Indians and while I am not racist, I just hate working with them, bunch of soulless robots. I mean I guess I should be grateful that I am not overly stressed or jobless during those difficult times but there's 0 passion in what I do and seems like most companies are not happy about my career shift since I'm not getting hired anywhere else.21
Dev && story
So i joined this new company where i was hired as an intern, pretty cool stuff as i am still in college and getting paid.
I was selected to be in iOS development
Although i didn't have any previous experience, i was surviving,
To the main point ->
My team had 3 devs, 2 senior and one that has joined just 6 months back,
So after joining now, 2 senior devs have left, leaving just the 2 of us - 1 intern,1dev
The pressure is real!
Will keep u guys updated
(Note for dfox: I love this place and i would really like to have all my posts/ ++s/comment data available to me . Current system does not allow me to see posts more than some months old. is it possible? I hope devrant is not deleting old posts)
Stream of thoughts coming through
If you feel you are mentally unique (Not in retarded or disable kind of way, but having a different view of thinking, a different perspective, not-a-sheep-in-a-herd kind of mentality) , then you PROBABLY ARE, its just those who are not that mentally unique will find your thoughts absurd until you are proving yourself to be a successful person.
Even though you feel something is wrong in a current situation, and you can put some valid points in your argument, there would always come a point where your personal failures or average-ness would overshadow your valid points (kind of personal experience than a thought :/ )
#justAThought2 (Disclaimer: i am no fraud guru or priest, just a 9-5 curious , sleepless student-cum-professional)
I sometimes feel that the only good, meaningful goal that i could think for my life would be : to earn enough money to set up a small experiment environment , where I would initially take, around 25-30 people for 1-2 years. It would be an environment with totally $0 value for materialistic things like money, jewels, property, etc . Everyone is living free of tensions of basic services like food, clothes, house, taxes, work to live etc. Together we all will be collectively doing just these things: Making ourselves healthy , and more kind, spiritual towards other humans, animals, plants and environment, and thinking of ways to eradicate the value of "value".
We have already reached a point where we are generating even more harmful Technology than useful tech, how about changing the way of thinking and taking a small pause? I know a lot of people would be reluctant to do any work in such environment, but i believe one day or another, every one of these people has to come back to their usual jobs , but this time, not for money but for humanity.
Do you think this kind of environment is possible for the whole world? Because today most, if not all thinks that money is the ultimate goal. can we change that, and would that change be good?
#justAthought 3 (Disclaimer : 1. Its my mom's thought/whatsapp status , i kind off liked it. she is super religious by the way ^_^! | 2. more relevant for india/multi religious countries 3. for Indians: kind of thought from movie "oh my god")
There should be a regional law during so called "acts of god"(floods, earthquakes, other natural disasters) under which the donations given to religious places(temples, churches, mosques, etc) would be used to provide relief to affected areas.3
I hate BT.
Today, it started redirecting me to a page saying, basically, to activate their DNS server on the router for "BT Protect" and "Parental Controls" to work, despite the fact that my parents never turned it on. Their support lines appear to be staffed with Indians taught to answer very basic questions, and forwarded me to "tech experts" from BT, a service that apparently costs £8 a month, because "the issue is out of their scope".
How is this even legal?1
Why do IT Indians tend to lie so much? So many indian freelancer transform into John from USA and work together with a team of highly skilled specialists that studied in the most Elite universities in the world6
I just watched Bahubali, recomended by my Indian Colleague (wth about so many indians on programming, nice coding btw). Its not a big deal (long and boring most of times) but the WAR SCENE! OMG! INSANE hahahha loved it
There aren't any crowd sourcing websites in India right? Wow. We Indians do not want to invest. Just want everything to be freeee 😂3
To all the Indians in here, who is participating in TechGig CodeGladiators 2020 ? I could solve both the problems but in some test cases my runtime got exceeded #PythonProblems. I didn’t give a damn about it tbh, as my solution was correct.
I hate working with Indians!!!! They are chaotic, their code is a pile of mess, and their mouth full of best practices! It's a nightmare!9
I had trouble creating a bundle. It's necessary to install composer!
Finally, I succeeded!
