A client who I freelance for just asked if they could invest in one of my side projects.
This is the best day of my programming career 😊9 -
CEO: "What if we invest in our devs (i.e. trainings, certifications) and they leave?"
CTO: "What if we don't and they stay?"10 -
I'm almost 29 and only have finished high school. I never new what I wanted to do until 7 years ago. Software engineering and development.
It took me a little while an some effort to find a employer who sees my potentials and is willing to invest in me.
Two weeks ago I decided to finally go back to school again (self study). Last week my boss told me he is proud and willing to share the costs.
Today my books arrived.
I am so excited and nervous!! November 5th (also my birthday) will be the first day of school.22 -
TL;DR: Teacher wants to invest in my company 😲
So, just this morning as I headed to class (still in school, 17 years old, from Germany) someone tapped me from behind - a female teacher whom I've only seen a few times (She is a really nice and friendly teacher who teaches economics)
She asked me: Aren't you the young businessman? I've seen your interview, fantastic! (Background info: I recently founded my second firm (Webdevelopment, Design and Marketing) and was quite often in the media (local newspaper, television, radio))
Quite unsure, I responded: "yeah, right".
Promptly she asked: "Is there some way I can invest in your company? Perhaps in stocks?" (Of course we can't offer stocks, we're just a small local company lol)
Me: "There always is a way I guess?" (I was extremely grateful but didn't know how to respond)
Her: "Great! Would you mind sending me an email with your contact info?"
What the fuck just happened. 😂15 -
Alright fuck it, let's release this fucker!
https://lynkz.me is the main domain. The interface is *usable* and nothing more than that. I'll invest more time in that soon but for now, hey, it works.
Api is located at https://api.lynkz.me.
Documentation for this (literally some echoes to the screen but it contains the needed information for now) is at that api url.
Found a bug or a security vulnerability? Please let me know!
Yeah I use mariadb but sql injection is luckily not possible due to quite some sanitization ;)
WARNING: if you make a shortened url and forget the delete key, you won't be able to delete it.
Let's see how this goes 😅111 -
"We don't need to invest in security - noone is going to hack us anyway" == "We don't need a fire department in our city - fire is not going to start here anyway"
We don't need to invest in security - everything is public anyway" == "We don't need a fire department in our city - our buildings are made out of straws anyway"
-- my thoughts after seing a line in client's spec: "sensitive data is transferred via a secure tcp channel (https) and all the public data is transferred via an unencrypted tcp (http) channel"3 -
Got fired earlier today.... I had a feeling it was coming but was hoping it wouldn’t.
I really liked the job and the work. It was difficult for me at times because the job demanded medium to advanced linux skills and knowledge for just about every issue. And I’m still a complete newbie to Linux. But I was learning new things constantly because it was a challenge.
But they said that my skills weren’t up to snuff for them or their clients, so instead of investing in training they let me go. I’m sure there’s big company politics at play and someone (or multiple people) higher up would probably rather just hire someone that already had the skillset they were looking for than invest time and money into training.
I don’t wish them any ill will. Even though I’m thoroughly pissed at the situation I’m in now.
I believe that I was a really engaged employee and driven to learn and strived to be better than I was, but I guess that didn’t matter. Or maybe it just didn’t matter enough...14 -
“I don’t have time for the gym!”
But you have time for Netflix.
“I can’t afford to eat healthy!”
But you have time to eat out.
“I don’t have the money to invest!”
But you have money to spend on booze/cigarettes.
The problem isn’t your circumstances - the problem is just you.13 -
In the last 48 hours Bitcoin has gained about 2.000 USD in value. (Now ~12500$)
WHAT THE FUCK
And I remember this summer when Bitcoin was at about 4000 and everybody said "naaah I'd rather not invest in Bitcoin now, it will fall in value soon"16 -
I joined based on a friend invitation, then he didn’t attend...
It was two days hackathon...
Spent the first day trying to find any thing to do... but didn’t!
Slept in the place chatting and socializing...
In the second day, I found interesting JavaScript library, and decided to invest my time trying it...
Built a prototype in two hours, photoshop a presentation in two hours... waited 3 hours to the end of the event... present my Working POC...
Won second place and qualified to the world wide competition!2 -
I see a farmer who wants to work less, he automates his work by using new tools - shovels, tractors, to the point that he has to invest similar amount of time to maintain these tools4
-
Universal law of side projects:
The motivation to invest more time in side projects is inversely proportional to the free time you have!
When you have a deadline, you want to work on 10 new things, as soon as you are completely you just want to a lazy sloth!3 -
CEO: if we would not give new features, clients would be bored and would not pay for tool.
me: but don't you think we should fix buggy old code, that would reduce effort and time that we daily invest in prod bugs?
CEO: I'm not saying we should not fix them but we should maintain the balance which is 80-20. 80% of our work would include adding new features.
😑
Next day in morning receives email:
There is a production issue, fix it asap.

When can we expect to have sex robots that can also be used for domestic chores? I don't want to invest in a robot that only gets occasional use.
And a Roomba isn't very erotic.
If anyone is working on this, GraphQL API will be handy. I'm going to be doing a lot of things with it that you can't even start to imagine so needs to be fully configurable.
Can use Raspberry Pi...I don't need it to be too bright.21 -
My father's PC is almost dead.
The PSU is damaged and it turns on correctly 1 time out of 250 or more.
There are days that he tries to turn it on at 8am, and it can finally use it at 8pm.
Also the other HW components are old, so I tried to convince him to buy a new PC, there was an offer where they also give you for free a new 24 inches monitor (now he has a fucking 19 inches old one).
But he doesn't want to invest in a PC.
Even if he spends almost the entire day by surfing on internet and watching movies!
So, I recommended him to change only the PSU, the same identical model costs only €39.
But he doesn't want to invest in it... he prefers to lose the entire day trying to use his fucking PC.
I really don't understand why some people just don't want to spend a bit to improve their life!
The comfort is worth it... the time of life you're wasting to use that fucking PC is more important than €39.
I tried different times to find other possible issues, but it's clearly a PSU problem, so obviously I can't fix it using magic.
Not in my father's opinion... "You don't know anything about computer science... nothing! Go to your fucking university (I'm studing Computer Engineering), and study how to fix it!".
While he was saying that sentence, he was beating the case, because he's convinced that it's a better way to fix it.
I want to leave this fucking house right now.10 -
The fact that this week's rant topic exists is the exact reason I never do freelance work. It always ends in horror.
I don't believe good fullstack devs exist. A good junior will assess their talents/passions and specialize to become a senior. They'll keep checking the rest of the market from the corners of their eyes and start moving when necessary. But eventually, focus and specialization is a must.
If that's true for the field of development... why would I invest time in marketing, support, sales, PR, legal?
Maybe you can earn a bit more gross income in freelance work — but I see my employer as a service provider, I "hire" them so I don't have to manage phone calls, lose sleep over court cases, play product owner or worry about getting paid.9 -
What's the best keyboard (type/model) for a programmer in your opinion, based on your experience?
I always used the keyboards included with the PC, never thought much about that, but now I would like to invest in something better.
I found a lot of articles on internet, but each one says different things, so I'm sure the devRant community is more reliable.
Thanks in advance!
Below the one I'm using write now.

Whenever someone gets rejected for a dev job and the recruiter/HR person says "Our team just feels you are a bit too junior for the position at this time".. what they're actually saying is "We, as a company, are just not willing to invest any time or resources into training or helping you grow professionally."4

I did some grave and irreversible mistakes in my life
- Never gathered enough courage to mingle with women when I was younger and now the hope is lost
- Compromised my values and mental wellness when I met a narcissistic bitch
- Did not invest money wisely when markets were sailing low and allowed that good sum to sit in bank
- Did not plan health and term insurance at early age when premiums could have been low
- Out of fear, did not follow my gut to purchase gold because my father was acting crazy (or else my money would have been doubled)
- Did not plan my taxation well (or until now would have paid almost zero tax)
- Did not define strict boundaries and allowed people to overstep (or else I would have better friends and family relationships)
- Did not quit my job early and stuck with low paying shit with negative learning, for years (or else I would have grown exponentially)
Thankfully few things I did right are, spending more time with my mom and learning from my mistakes.
I hope I don't make such stupid life choices again.12 -
Hey everyone I'm starting a blockchain company called Useless Blockchain.
You should really get in and invest before we make our first billion $$$.7 -
As a CS student, where should I invest my time between these options ?
- Get a higher GPA
- Invest in personal project
- Contribute to open source project
- Have a part-time internship during school
- Take time for myself
I would like to have opinions based on your personal experiences !28 -
First story (not rant) :3
So I was asked to set problems for an online programming contest for my college (I'm a sophomore)
The participants were students from my college.
Teacher told me "make as hard as you can"
I gave it my all.
:|
1 person solved the first question. Nobody solved the other four. :|
Not sure if I should be proud or sad.
And if you're wondering - here was my first question -
Sam wants to invest in real estate. He's got X dollars to spend. He knows the expected value per square meter of a given property. He knows the coordinates of the vertices of the polygon shaped properties he's interested in.
(both the values and coordinates for each property are given in input)
Find the maximum return on investment he can get.
(answer is, basically you calculate the area of each polygonal house using half the vector cross product, multiply it with their expected value per square meter, and then apply a dynamic programming - knapsack approach)
;-; I really thought it was a nice question man. ;-; I put so much thought into others too. ;-;
Got ignored. ;-;6 -
I hate it when marketing people decide they're technical - quote from a conference talk I regrettably sat through:
"The fourth industrial revolution is here, and you need to make sure you invest in every aspect of it - otherwise you'll be left in the dust by companies that are adopting big data, blockchain, quantum computing, nanotech, 3D printing and the internet of things."
Dahhhhhhhhhh6 -
“Hey, thanks for accepting my request we have a role you might be interested in.”
Sure, happy to move forward
“Great you just need to a complete a Technical test”
How long is the recommend time?
And I quote:
“It’s entirely up to you how much time you spend on this task. I’ve seen tasks done in 45 mins with minimal effort previously. I’ve also seen others take a week on it. Totally your call”
——
...so you contact me to offer me a role and want me to invest up-to 1 week on a technical when I’ve not even visited your offices. How about no.2 -
So there it goes again,,, I am thinking about quitting again.
I feel that I cannot be the sole sysadmin for a company whose critical IT-infrastructure lives on Life-Support, deprecated software and hardware, and the unwillingness to actually invest it in.7 -
So, we’ve a small UK based dev team, we follow good practices and get good results. But ‘they’ want to deploy quicker (it was suggested we skip the test phases...) but don’t want to invest in more staff.
So their suggestion is to outsource development to Bangladesh and have us in-house devs work on discovery and innovation.
I’m uncomfortable with this as it feels they are thinking they can get quicker and cheaper dev done abroad (which I hate as it feels disrespectful to my fellow dev brothers n’ sisters).
Also disjointed as in my experience planning and dev’ing work best when you can talk face-to-face.
Thoughts?

Due to working from home I decided a few months back to invest the money I save instead of keeping it all in my bank account.
About 10-20% of it goes to a long term investing account and the rest into the one I manage actively.
The nice thing about homeoffice is that I can have a lunch break an hour later when the market opens and review my shit, then again checking up on it in the late evening before the market closed here.
Have been playing around with trading for years but never did it with patience and discipline.
After 3 months I managed to reach over 16% profit.
My account is small so it’s not a lot of money but I’m focusing on the % rather than the $ at the moment. It’s a start..
Anyway, thought I’ll share my progress with you guys as some of you probably invest as well..
Im exclusively swing trading, so holding my positions between 1-14 days with no leverage.

Not sure if this is necessarily a prank, but I was working on a team that was split in 2. We had a group of senior devs in one country, and junior devs in another (god only knows why, and yes I complained about this a lot).
The "lead" of the juniors was very stubborn and refused to adhere to the official standards, as his way was better.
I was working on an app with him, I was fed up with how badly the app was working, how hard it was to find files etc. So I waited for him to be off on holidays and pulled some extra hours to completely re-do the folder structure, rip out his persistence layer and a few other things.
When he came back he lost his shit and complained to the architect. The architect (also fed up with his shit) told him that we don't have the time to invest in reverting back everything, and loosing all the new features I added on top, especially since the app is now adhering to standards.
Never felt such satisfaction in my life. -
Have you heard that Facebook is developing a cryptocurrency?
Huge waste of money. Everyone knows Facebooks security flaws and will problably not invest in their cryptocurrency because of that.11 -
Don't trust people. Especially if they say: "No Problem, I'll invest enough time to make x happen"
But in general. Don't trust people until you know them very well. -
I just realized that malware developers invest so much time into the UX, that users find downloading and installing malware way easier than downloading and installing the actual piece of software.1

NEW TALES FROM THE FUCKING CRYPT. It's disgusting...
... how managers keep to invest money into totally useless gadgets at the company to keep themselves motivated with stupid toys, tech and gear. WHY in fucks name would you not spend the money on hiring more devs and a dev consultant?
It's funny how they presented the stats first: "yea well we have ten big projects in dev right now" (we are FIVE FUCKING PEOPLE, tells you everything, right) "... BUT WE HAVE BOUGHT NEW SCOOTERS FOR THE COMPANY!".
Ok... why though? Who would actually use those things except the ones that bought them. Just another way of spending more money to reduce the promised employee return on the company's profit...2 -
Potential client: "We need this project done, but don't have much of a budget. But, if it's successful, could result in a lot more work."
If you want me to invest in your company, offer stock.

Makes a joke about my work laptop im getting that we should all invest in some game development so we need some new laptops (we develop prototype apps to validate ideas for startups and i never work on proper projects). I get to work and see this.. Omw im so happy..

I NEED A HACKER TO RECOVER MY LOST BITCOIN / CRYPTO HIRE iFORCE HACKER RECOVERY
iForce Hacker Recovery saved me from nearly losing around $958,000 of my inheritance money in a pig butchering scam on a Chinese trading platform after a stranger used the new AI technology to pose as my friend. I fell for the scam when I received a call with my friend's voice, thinking it was a great investment project because she was already profiting from it, so I decided to invest without realizing I had been duped. After losing the money for a few days, I discovered the top bitcoin recovery expert at iForce Hacker Recovery, so I engaged them and explained my predicament to the staff. To my amazement I got my money retrieved within a few hours. I reported my case to this firm. The service was hassle-free, flawless, and flawless. using iForce Hacker Recovery.

Literally painful dev learning experience: Do your damn stretches and invest in a good chair.
Spent a couple of months of WFH working eight hours a day in an awful chair and started getting back pain out of the blue. Part of my first paycheck after that went into a decent office chair, in hindsight I should've spent more on it but goddamn what a relief it was not having to spend an entire day in the tiny, back-breaking piece of shit my landlord calls a desk chair.1 -
them: welcome new project members, this is our CI/CD pipeline which is completely different from the rest of the company, there won't be any great knowledge transfer, we just expect you to be able to know and use everything. but also, we expect you to work on your tasks and don't waste any time.
me: okay, so my tasks aren't going as fast as expected, because I need to invest some learning so i can set up my project correctly.
later: some help would be nice, i'm stuck right now
coworker: *helps me to fix my problems, which were partly due to misconfigured build servers* i know it's a lot, and unfortunately, for this topic sources on the web aren't so good. i can really recommend this book, this will give a deeper understanding of the topic.
me: okay, yeah i mean, tbh, i'll read the book if the project invests some time for me so i can learn everything that's required, but this won't happen. also, some initial workshop on the topic or anything would have been nice.
coworker: well, i mean, i am a software developer. for me, it is normal that i learn all that stuff in my free time. and i think that's what the PM expects from us.
me: okay, that's fine for you, i mean, if i'm interested in a topic, i will invest my private time. but in this case, PM would just expect me to do unpaid labor, to gain knowledge and skills that i can use in this specific project. i'm not willing to do that.
coworker: ...
me: ...
it's not that i don't want to learn. the thing is that there isn't any energy left by the end of the day. i'm actually trying to find some work life balance, because i don't feel balanced right now, haven't felt since i started this job.
also, this is only one of several projects i'm working on. it's like they expect me this project has top priority in my life. if it wasn't so annoying on different levels, maybe i'd have a more positive attitude towards it.
also, at the moment i find it fucking annoying that i have to invest so much time in this dev ops bullshit and this keeps me from doing my actual work.
if they are unhappy with my skills, either they can invest in my learning or kick me out. at this point, either is fine for me..12 -
Does anybody out there actually really love their job? Because I do. I'm not sure if it's just me or that my job is actually great, but my coworkers are respectful, my boss lets me have control over each project's pace, I get to write tests and invest in refactoring, and I make good money doing it.
Is this just me?7 -
I want to be the CTO in ten years. I'm 25 now, and think it's possible. My former boss was the CTO and he inspired the hell out of me to work hard and invest in myself. I have a lot to learn but I'm eager to figure it out.3
-
First of all I want to say that I like how much this group rant is inspired by people complaining about their parents last week. (there were a lot)
Whenever I wanted to proudly present my family something I programmed they just answered (and that really infuriated me) "Just don't do anything illegal, ok?".
These words held so little appreciaten for what I would invest so many hours into because I love it so much...1 -
FU*** unnamed company..... lets recap.
I went for a job interview at this unnamed company i was acting like me and dress like i normally do, witch is good not extrem like a model but normal OK. like you would see in any company.
Yes maybe i could have got a haircut but you know time...
but not to drift, i when i was myself in the interview and no out of the ordinary things happend....
3 days later they call with feedback and you properly guest it! they did not like my appearance..
Like why? my feedback to them was to think that refusing someone based on there personal statement of looking fucking average JO is not good thing to do. and that it makes them look like big "i am better than you..." jerks....
of course there was more of this so called "feedback".
They also ask if i had any feedback for them... i kindly suggested that they need to invest in training how to not judge people on how they look but on there ability of there work and skill....
pfff.. that gone! alright thanks devrant for this outlet.5 -
Official declaration: I am a fucking moron.
Last year, I acted stupid (as suual) and didn't invest enough money into some tax saving instruments.
I also picked the wrong taxation method and ended up paying more than double taxes.
Thankfully my country has an option where you can claim a refund by filing a return form.
And so I go ahead and I hire a finance guy who can help me do my taxes.
We sit at the table and do the math. It turns out my savings mindset prevented me from not investing enough and now it is difficult to claim the tax as refund.
I legit had no issues in investing more. Rather I was looking for ways to do so but I didn't. If I had done it, I'd would be paying zero taxes as my earnings would fall below a certain threshold.
Only trick is to evade by unethical means. Should I be the Jeff Bezos of my country and save my hard earned money from going to corrupt politicians?
Either way, I am a moron. Fucking hate my stupid decision.17 -
AWS I love your stuff! But please for the love of god please invest in writing better documentation!4

A semiconductor company wants a custom desktop program to graph the data from their machines.
Company: We want to get a trial version before buying it.
Me: *Just staring at them*
In my mind: Soooooo you want me to invest my time in creating a custom made software specific to your machines and you might end up being happy with a trial version and leaving me empty handed?
Might as well create the program and put so many pop ups to annoy them no? 😂😂😂

Invest more into stocks.
Started trading a bit at the end of last year ,made some solid returns. Have quite a bit of cash laying around so I think I'll just invest and spread over companies I believe in as I only plan on using the cash in the next year or 2. Work on some of my personal projects, because I didnt last year - at all. Also work out a bit. Got a bit of a chub going on during the pandemic. Learn GO. Upskill and maybe look into switching companies.
Buy some shit. Been saving around 80% of my paycheck for almost 2 years now... I've bought a roof over my head so it's time to spend some of the cash to get a few things to enjoy myself. Sell some unused stuff. Vomited some thoughts.
Wish everyone to achieve their goals!2 -

WHY THE FUCK IS MY WIRED INTERNET CONNECTION SLOWER THAN MY PHONE ON WIRELESS! WHAT KIND OF FUCKING BULLSHIT IS THIS US ISPs I PAY YOU A SHIT TON OF MONEY SO YOU CAN INVEST IN INFUSTRUCTURE AND FUCKING GET ME GOOD SPEEDS! NOT FUCKING BLOW IT ALL ON YOUR EXECUTIVE BONUSES!7 -
I am working as a junior in a company that pays me minimum wage and doesn't give a single fuck about my existence.

Well, that's what I am trying to do for, like, 3rd month now. No one wants to invest into junior...
Every day I go to work with thoughts about quitting, but I need a job... Even if it's like this...

My smartphone's fingerprint reader just stopped working, after EXACTLY 36 months of usage.
I always took care of this device to make it last, as I'm worried about resources consumption and what the production chain involves (like having working children in African mines).
I'll try to keep using it as long as possible, but I can't stop thinking that this problem shouldn't be always on us, the consumers, suffering defective devices designed to last only for two years.
We should put more pressure on producers to reduce electronic waste, and to invest more on the maintenance & repairing sectors (which are almost non-existent).
That's all folks.3 -
I got my dirty fingers on this leak of an AMAZING ML model capable of pondering EVERY PARAMETER IN THE UNIVERSE and saying if your business idea needs improvement or is good to go.

We had today a meeting in management that ended in a discussion about prevention instead of crisis and risk management.
Or to make it bit simpler: prevention instead of treatment.
In IT / management / government, treatment is usually the way - you let the crisis happen, despite knowing it could have been prevented, and treat the damage / crisis.
Needless to say, the discussion escalated like usual.
It's funny how managers are able to put sentences like: "it's important to have quality assurance like prevention but staying within budget should be priority" (loosely translated from German, it's hard - sorry)...
You mean the budget that exploded and quadrupled in size because you dumb fuckers pay no attention to quality assurance? Or the additional cost of hardware, maintenance etc. to compensate for the fuckups regarding performance evaluation and regression testing?
"We cannot prevent everything nor anticipate everything, it's safer to deal with an estimated risk than with the unknown"...
"But we'd need to invest in ..., which reduces value"
I could give more details, but I think the point is clear... the discussion became quite heated and the longer it went on, the more I wanted to have an morphine drop with suicide option...
Why do people hate prevention so much?
Is the concept that hard to understand? You prevent things to not deal with crisis.
You invest to prevent loss.
It's just one of these weeks where the only happiness consists of tipping the delivery guy with 20 % plus and getting an honest smile.

i've got my first job after getting out of college. not a great package. I'm learning more, will get experience. i have plans for freelancing and seek a better job. I'm an Indian.
what really upsets me is that I just discovered that I've no knowledge in finance. I'm feeling insecure, afraid and depressed. I'm browsing for some youtube channels, books and podcasts to get some some knowledge about finance and real estate.
all I have is a saving account in SBI bank, I just know how to take money out of it with my debit card and transfer money with online banking
how do u guys do ur finance, where do u invest. do u invest in stock market. insurance?? help me out. i'm fucked.
never thought i can be so stupid, I hate myself, never even thought I'll need financial intelligence.
are there more people like me.
i'm just so down and feeling suicidal.8 -

Fuck Governments and schools for not teaching kids basic financial knowledge or how to identify scams and how to determine if the returns that they got told are realistic.
The amount of people that call me and ask me if they got scamed or how to invest in something because I am "that guy" that they know that's into Computers honestly scares me. I think many countries have a huge problem with basic financial illiteracy. People call me all the time and ask me about investing in crypto currencies etc. or ask me if they were scamed and I often have to tell them that they indeed got scamed. Does that only happen to me or does it also happen to you guys?4 -
Know what really grinds my gears? The fact that at many companies, PM's and QA people aren't required or expected to have even a basic level of knowledge, making communication pretty unpleasant. Even having a grasp of relevant vocabulary would make things so much easier.
Combine this with the bedside manner of a barn-raised sociopath, an ignorance of human and technical capabilities in general, and we have several good reasons to stay at home "sick". What the hell do I keep getting myself into?2 -

How seriously do you take TDD, CI/CD, automated testing, clean commits, good architecture, Agile, low coupling/high cohesion, etc ... ?
How much time do you invest in those things if you have a deadline up ahead?
Have you seen these things being valued or disregarded at the previous companies you worked for?17 -
Tbh, ostream is a nice guy. Once you get over his
- Racism towards Germans
- Racism towards Jews
- Closeted racism towards anyone, really
- Psychotic episodes of rage
- Borderline criminal tendencies
- Bipolar disorder
It's actually fun to talk to him. You have to invest time and patience though.
Love you ostream bro.4 -
WHAT THE FUCKING SHIT DO YOU WANT FROM ME??! I LITERALLY GET SPAM MAILS EVERY 5 MINUTES (i know I know, some of you get more than that) ABOUT BITCOIN. I NEVER DID ANYTHING FUCKING RELATED TO CRYPTO CURRENCY! HOW DO YOU KNOW MY EMAIL?? LIKE WTF. I'm sitting here doing my stuff and every few minutes my phone starts ringing and I'm like "hey maybe person x answered or something else important happened" but when I actually look at it to see whats up it's just a fucking email about bitcoin being outdated and it tells me to maybe invest into other crypto currencies. After actually reading one of the spam mails because I was interested in what they actually want from me I had to find out that they do not even mention any other currency or website. WTF INTERNET?? WHAT DO YOU WANT?2

There are days where I just want to develop a plot of land in some forest/mountain rich area into a little farm, maybe with some silly animals like emus and alpacas.
Development is not always as stress free as I'd like it to be.
If I'd had to pick a way to spend my days and money was no issue, I'd probably only contribute to open source, and invest more time into a few projects of my own.
No boss, no sales department, no deadlines, zero pressure. Just solving the puzzles my brain wants to lock on to that day.1 -
My new setup.
The conputer on the left is the new and first comouter i built.
Im looking to invest in an extra screen that tilts vertically and 2 GPUs.

I got such a bad employer… oh, pardon me: committent-but-actually-employer-minus-the-responsabilities that I developed bruxism, rage bursts and chest pains due to anxiety.
Bright side 1: i quitted by saying them in their face “you don’t even fucking know what docker is and you claim to be an expert, get a fucking update”
Bright side 2: They failed a while… Oh wow much surprise, very unexpected considering that they fired the only dev with experience on the product and that they re-made the interface every other day making everyone’s job a miserable joke. Smart move, 10/10 would invest in them.
The “bright side” in this is mostly that I’m forced to accept I was a very valuable asset and shut up any imposter syndrome related to that bs work.
Bright side 3: It forced me to see someone which in turn forced me face some piled up shit, so I recently feel better and hate myself less!1 -
Damn, nespresso! As if your fucking webshop wasn't bad enough, don't bug me (haha) with useless mails AND JUST TEST YOUR SHIT BEFORE PRODUCTION!!! Hello, world!
So from what I've heard, bitCoin (and other similar currencies) values have been on the rise.
Now, I don't make much. My only income is ATM is $12/mo through Patreon. I was wondering, should I take some of that every month and invest into BitCoin..? I would likely do this for a long time, and then sell off whatever I had built up. The thing is, I would need to be able to buy in small amounts ($2-5 worth).14 -
I should invest in Apple again... Google keeps doing things in Android that keep pissing me off.... And probably others too and well the only alternative is iOS...
GOOD JOB... your killing your own brand and ecosystem....21 -
No Rant:
I guess I will start a religous discussion with it but I want your opinion on what tool I should learn.
Vim or Emacs (or stay with my IDE)?
For all of my programmer life I used IDEs... From Eclipse over CodeBlocks over VS to IntelliJ.
But now I realized that I want to be one of the cool kids. And using plain IntelliJ is uncool. No matter how much I love this tool.
So now I want to invest some time into learning. I never managed to do much in Vim since all code-completions sucked ass, feedback on syntax errors was bad and I never saw how I could be any faster with that shit compared to what IntelliJ does for me.
Will Emacs solve all those problems? Will Emacs make me code 1000 times faster and make having a mouse useless?
Or am I just too dumb for Vim? Can Vim itself do what my IDE does for me? Will it make me look as cool as I want to be?
Or should I stick to IntelliJ and just install Vim bindings?
What is your opinion on Vim vs Emacs vs any IDE?8 -
Everyone talks about quality, but they don't know what it means/ don't want to invest the time to do things right.2
-
Being on time for that 10 am stand-up meeting.
Yes, all the cool kids are doing it. Yes, sometimes there is a benefit in being in the office at the same time as your colleagues. Yes, communication and backbriefing is important.
Yet why has it to happen at that early early possible time? Yes I know other places are worse demanding to be in office starting from 6 to 9. (I wonder why I don't work there. Oh wait, I don't.) Some companies even try to trick you with free breakfast in the morning. Thanks, but no thanks, I just want coffee.
Here's a crazy thought: You let me do my work on my terms when and where and I guarantee I invest the hours we agreed upon in the contract and try my very best to achieve the current goal, and maybe I'll be a happy and productive employee.
How about that? No. Ok. By the way, is this a good time asking for the possibility to work from remote? Also no? Ah okay. Didn't think so ...rant your chrono-normativity sucks i just want coffee and not to talk to people first world problems wk942 -
One of the largest companies on the continent. Uses Oracle on AWS RDS with the beefiest resources available. It comes to the point where lowering the number of CPUs boosts the DB performance up (concurrency). Point is - Oracle is sweating hard during our tests. You can almost feel the smell of those hot ICs on AWS servers.
And then someone at higher levels, while sitting on a pooper, has a great idea: "I know! Let's migrate to Aurora! They say it's so much faster than anything there is!"
*migration starts*
Tests after migration: the database on the largest instance possible shits itself at 10% of the previous load: the CPU% is maxed out (sy:60%,us:40%), IO is far, far from hitting the limits.
Is it really possible Aurora will cope with the load better than Oracle? Frankly, I haven't seen any database perform better than Oracle yet. Not sure if it's worth to invest time in this adventure..2 -
Does anyone of you own a Microsoft Surface?
What are your thoughts on Surface vs. Mac.
For my next laptop upgrade, I am thinking to invest in a decent one which lasts of half a decade or longer.
Mac is surely out of question.
Have had terrible experience with Lenovo and Sony. Don't quite like HP or others.
Remaining options are Surface or Dell.16 -
I work full time in the data protection field for healthcare whilst investing all my free time into coding as a career change.
I've discovered that despite people telling you how much you need to spend every hour you get free to learn to code, you also need to consider the people closest to you. I was ignoring my partner who I live with because I thought this was more important and that she should be able to see that. But what's the point in being in a relationship if you aren't making an effort with each other?
It's OK to slow down and invest time into the people you have in your life. Give yourself a break. -
When the week starts with the following task:
"Remove the page."
And mind reads:
"Remove the page, you had to invest hours of your precious, because we never really plan about things we really need. We just have a gut feeling and it would be nice to have fully functional websites instead of paper prototypes or click dummies. Thank you but keep in mind, we might need the deleted page next week."1 -
What do you say to your coworkers who want to get free copies of your paid (kinda expensive and lots of effort + time to download) work related video tutorials?
Also, sometimes they ask for it indirectly then laugh.
If they insist, should I ask them to pay for the share?
Some people don't like investing in themselves. They pay expensive tuition costs but don't want to invest while they are working.
What's the proper way to say no in a big corporate environment without looking like a bad guy? I will say yes if the justification and initiative are really good.17 -
I can’t say much about this, but there is one thing.
When you go for the interview, and if the interview is in the same working place you will be working at, check the office, working tables/chair, pc/laptop, accessories etc.
You may think these are not much important but believe me, when the company hesitates to invest these things in you, think how can they invest on your knowledge, and other things..
It means they don’t care about you, you are just $ for them.2 -
Fuck accessibility.
No WAIT, before you call me an asshole hear me out.
So when you use CSS grid to create layouts you're supposed to not use the features it has (reordering items) too much, and instead keep the HTML structured the way it's supposed to be read.
When you add a picture of a cat you're supposed to put a alt="Brown cat sitting on a chair" there.
Also you should test for all kinds of sight disabilities and use high contrast colors.
All that for likely <1% of your users.
What would be the alternative? HTML is a markup language, and not supposed to be directly read by humans. Invest the time ONCE for screenreaders to understand CSS positioning and read content in a sensible order. Use image recognition to describe pictures (with selectable levels of detail). Let the browser modify colors on the fly for better readability.
Don't spend time and money to solve a problem 100000 Times that could be solved once.
Fuck accessibility.28 -
Everytime i buy any electronics , my brother would suggest me to buy latest ones with the newest configuration . His logic was " If you buy a not-so new tech now.. It will outdate fast and you will end up with an outdated one soon.. So the extra 10K is worth considering that " .
Considering the development trend i personally think it is useless to invest in electronics unless necessary . Everytime i buy an electronic product , within 2 or 3 months i find the same good at almost 75% of the price.. So with tech prices falling like this.. i think it is worth saving that money instead of the cutting edge tech which i wont need for another 2 years .
Thoughts ?
(The cousin brother i mentioned does this everytime he buys a phone and ends up changing the phone 4 times faster than me.. and the use case is similar to mine if not worse..)1 -
Technologies come and go, but it has a lot in common. Set priorities right. Invest 80% of your learning time in fundamentals. Leave 20% for frameworks, libraries and tools.3

I've been developing an application off and on over the past year and a half for fun. Was a good excuse to learn something new.
It is to the point now that it has potential (still needs tons of work) to be much better than several existing applications out there doing the same thing.
I am feeling overwhelmed because I either need to a) seriously invest time into it to make it a fully fledged tool and try to sell it b) open source it and see if other people find it worth working on or c) just abandon it and move on.
Has anyone else been in this type of situation knowing there is potential but honestly may be more than you can do as a single person?7 -
Endel, the freemium garbage app for meditation sounds that sells its subscription by telling you to “invest in your happy brain” (despite being FDA approved) and has an unskippable onboarding question on whether you was professionally diagnosed with ADHD, made a collab with Grimes.
Grimes and Elon Musk are X Æ A-Xii Musk’s parents.
So, Grimes recorded an “AI lullaby” supposedly “for her son”, that was really just a paid collab with Endel to sell their garbage app better.
Poor kid wasn’t even born yet, and everything about his life was already commercialised.
Imagine having Elon Musk as your dad. Grimes reported Elon abused her. Among other things, he made her dye her hair white, because Elon prefers blondes. How creepy is that? Now the poor kid with a stupid name made up to keep Elon’s stock bubble afloat will live with divorced parents.
This is capitalism for ya.

Fuck, I just found out that I have to replace the (pooled) company laptop, which I sometimes take home with me to continue some (work related) side projects, by myself if something happens to it.

And this is also the reason why I asked for a personal laptop as workstation several weeks ago... You dumbfuck -

When angular 2 came out I started working with it on a project and it took some work to migrate from razor to a SPA.
I had a buddy say "You should take all that time and effort and invest it into learning native app languages. This Angular thing is another passing fad". Lol
He eventually started learning it and I was suggesting he'd implement Polymer with his app so if he needed to use the same component in another project, it would be easier since Polymer has a small dependency cost, and offers framework agnostic implementation.
He then told me, "Polymer is not gonna gain any ground because google is behind Angular more so than Polymer." Lol
Anyway, happy Tuesday, y'all.
Oh yeah, he also said that typescript would never stick. :)2 -
Making software is science. I'm not talking about overengineering, just doing things right (with a minimum of automated testing, abstraction, architecture easy to modify, stuff like that). If you don't wan't to invest money in science, but only in business, get external providers for parts of your product, if not all of it. Stop making custom stuff that already exists, unless you can make something better (because it most probably ain't be cheaper, regardless the quality level).2

No desire to work hard or learn new coding stuff. This world is so messed up now that I have a difficult time caring about anything anymore. I spend a lot of time browsing for and posting anti-wokeness and pro-libertarian memes and watching the world burn down around me under the illusion that it’s being “saved” and “improved” by monopolistic authoritarian governments and technocracy. All that’s really happening is a handful of really powerful people are pissing on our heads and telling us it’s raining. Invest in umbrella manufacturers.14

When I first started down the path to becoming a developer, I was a "business analyst" where I managed our departments reports and ended up migrating all the reports from daily query run in MS Access with Task manager and emailed out to all the managers including the VP of the entire business unit, I created
Views in the database and sent out the same spreadsheet with the view in excel daily since management didn't want "change". Granted this was at a large health care company in the US and didn't want to invest in a real dashboard for their reports. The only thing that was changed in the email and file was the file name with the current date. I left the company a while ago and recently applied for a similar position for the shits and gigs. Interviewed with the It manager and they're still using the same excel macro I wrote 3 years later.2 -
On the learning new stuff before applying some horrid shit everywhere:
Read the fucking guide/documentation/whatever, few times and if not clear, ffs ask someone - it will make you look less stupid now then later when you fuck it up for everyone!
Dude started doing something new when I was on long holidays, and I got noticed the day I was back.
Said ok, let's dive in and spent all day reading docs and guides, good practices and saw examples of what to apply and what to avoid cause shitstorm will happen etc.
I asked that dude to show me his work on this up until now, and that dude used every antipattern available!
Invest some fucking time in educating yourself a bit and pay attention to, you know, important fucking things from docs/guides! -
It’s from a job posting for a fully remote position. You have to invest your time for a homework task, 2 interviews a week apart, and only then you get the priviledge to know the salary range.
Your compensation is based on your location, even though it’s a remote job with digital nomad wibes.
Guys, you are not Google to pull this off.

1. For my employer to invest in QA. Honestly, even if I'm 101% confident about my code, if nobody tests it other than me, I would advise against prod-ing(Is that a word?) it.
2. For recruiters so stop expecting a Full stack dev to be perfect in both ends (especially with an entry level salary. Stop taking advantage of them!!). Just stop using the term full stack entirely, please.
3. For API docs of other companies to be deserving of the title 'Documentation'. I'm so tired of figuring out other API parameters via trial and error. Just make your docs as clear as you can please, so we don't have to bother each other with so much email.
That's all for now. Thanks dev Genie.3 -
Should I learn Angular 2 or Vue 2?
Not asking which one is better, but which one suits my need better:
I want to move from PHP to nodejs frameworks; I know Vue cause it's famous in the Laravel community, but don't know about the node/js community. I heard Angular 2 is hard, but I'm changing my dev stack so might as invest some time in it. So which one should I pick?
Also, what's a good nodejs framework for starters (who aim to build production-ready apps) (also, not planning on doing mobile apps so no need for cross platform js frameworks).
Thanks in advance12 -
Rant/Help me
3 months ago:
"Hey, the domain I want isn't taken and Vultr has some cheap hosting plan, only 2.5$ a month for VPS WOW, gotta get it!"
5 minutes later:
"Okay, I bought the domain, time to buy hosti- where is the plan?.. SOLD OUT? How?.. Okay, that's not a big deal, I'll wait a day, week or even a month if I have to, maybe the plan will be available then"
That was 3 months ago, the plan is still 'Sold Out' and me being a starving uni student, I won't invest my hard earned money into 5$ plan if I know 2.5$ plan exists!

Personal Observation
=======
Today morning I was looking through different React UI frameworks for my next hobby project. MUI React has been my favorite but I wanted something informal for this project, so I opened up all the two dozen suggested ones by Google searches.
Since reversing on committing to a UI framework, later on, is a huge headache so I was going through the component demos to shortlist a handful for final consideration, and in that, I almost skipped out all the frameworks which weren't showing a preview of their component on the documentation page itself.
========
I wonder how many frameworks are genuinely good but are passed over due to others having better and more illustrative documentation. In a market with vast abundance, one cannot rely on the sincerity of the consumer to invest time and determine the best possible product, for there are plenty of 'good enough' products that the user does not really worry about false negatives. -
i am a B.Tech 3rd year student.Last month i started learning Php web development,also learnt HTML &CSS.
i struggled during the starting days but became quite comfortable with back-end development using Php,MySQLi, and JS.

My question is that should i continue doing Web Development or should i invest time in competitive programming and stop doing web development?5 -

Imagine you have 100+ projects in java, that became obsolete due to Oracle decision to "improve the language" .
To me, the required effort is not easy to the point that better to invest in migrating the projects to other languages such as Rust.
So I expect to hear for example : "Lets see why we should continue using java"
Instead, you hear : " Oh the new version of java has nice features, lets continue using it".
Then I understood why :
If you start a new language, you are a beginner so if you were a master in Java, then you will not accept to be a beginner in Rust, just like anyone who discovers the language.1 -

Somebody please explain to Microsoft Win 10 team that normal usage of a computer should just work, home users don't have hours on end to spend on dealing with:

- high CPU usage & diagnosing, log tracing from system processes
- many other crap you need to invest time constantly fixing or you don't have a useful machine

I feel bad for bootcampers. Their schools tell them to apply for a job even if they don’t have all the qualifications because they will learn on the job. That’s fine if you’re applying for an upgrade in the same career path. But when you’re changing careers, a lot of jobs don’t necessarily have time to invest in you like that.
I do have respect for those who DM me on Slack and ask if the job is open to new bootcamp grads. At least they are taking the initiative to ask and not sulking that they’re not good enough.
I tell them “this role requires experience in x. If you have that, then apply” because I don’t actually know they’re not qualified.
I was like them before. It’s hard to get the first job and sometimes it’s a lot of luck. But the first job will make getting the next one easier.
At least they’re not recruiters trying to convince me to pay them to fill the role.1 -

3 weeks into getting dragged into another MS-stack project, I have already been repeatedly reminded why I decided to invest so much energy in moving my career as far away from Microsoft dependency as possible. Even something as simple as reviewing settings on Azure App Service is a hit-or-miss affair, being completely unavailable for hours at a time at least once a week. Azure Functions are consistently unavailable for at least a few minutes every day. Don't even get me started on "Azure DevOps".
Why the fuck do people still place their trust (and critical infrastructure) in the hands of Microsoft?

Not really a rant, but maybe someone can help me on this one.
Me and my brother are thinking about creating our first app. We know what features we want and also how the workflow of our app should be (we even sketched the workflow with an online mockup tool). The programming of the app itself is no problem, but we are both struggling when it comes to create a nice looking, smooth design from our draft. As we both believe that a nice looking UI is important we are not afraid to invest a little bit to get a nicely designed UI - "Make it right, or don't do it at all" ;-)
We searched a little bit in our hometown and found a company that would design us something for at least 15-20k Euros. As we do already have a pretty detailed sketch and also would need to pay that from our own pocket (we do not know if it gets more than a hobby project) its definitely too much for us. So my question is: Are their any app design companies out there that takes a sketch and creates a smooth design from it?4 -

Instagram's UI is like an extremely hard game that will kicks you out of the process just a second before you're about to finish just to make you start over and try harder. It's a know deceptive pattern to make people invest more energy and engage more intensively, some will leave in frustration, but the rest will feel more attached to your product thanks to the sunk cost fallacy. Finally some real vacation. Heavily needed. Can't stand that type of remote work any more. Our dailies and pull requests have become mere dick-measuring contests. Morally puffed statements about THE RIGHT way to do agile and clean code, and architecture. Endless vacuous, monologues, which they only endure so they can start our own - but shit just does not get done.
And then they don't want to invest only a day or some hours to get some integration tests running on more machines, which could save the one overworked tester we have a lot of work. But whatever. I've lost all motivation and hope. Shall they deal with their own shit. Maybe I just need more sleep or some antidepressants, because I'm really fed up with it.
Makes we wonder why I even fought this battle of the last two weeks, when thanks to Apple's changes in macOS's codesigning our new binary wouldn't run on any "real" machine. But according to them packaging and signing is only a trivial issue, nothing to do with code. Yeah, well, then they should do that shit themselves next time.1 -

Need advice for buying VR capable PC or laptop.
Basically, I want to start developing VR applications and run VR games through Virtual Desktop or Air link through Oculus Quest 2, which I will buy next month (no, I don’t have money to buy Valve Index and invest in new stationary computer), but I’m not really sure which setup I should buy. I really don’t want to spend more than 800 € for a computer. Can anyone share their experience and computer parts bought or recommended?
Thanks in advance! 😊7 -
Thinking about upgrading my security. Found this interesting project on kickstarter:
https://kickstarter.com/projects/...
It looks pretty promising! Open-Source, no cloud services and Windows Hello support.
What do you guys think about it?
I just want a second opinion before I invest money on it!6 -
Everyone wants some kind of super expertise but they don’t want to invest to allow people to become experts
I like incentive to learn large framework code that is os
And inventive to invest time to fix
And I think this should be finding that is added to an economy by a CB
Adding to the monetary expansion and contraction equation
The more improvements that work and are accepted
The more bugs that get fixed etc
The more people working on these projects the more money generated that they can spend to prop up their host economy
Of course you’d need some considerable oversight to prevent corruption and laundering or outright theft by dirty fucked up chomo whores pretending that work is there own and destroying people who are enthusiastic or happy like the garbage they are -
Every 3 years or so I invest in a new iMac. I was holding on for the new M1 IMacs, which are ready to order. So I am trading in my 2017 Imac and guess what I get £420 🍾 trade in value. What I am saying is, they may seem pricey to most people but when you can get a 1/3rd back when you trade in for a machine that has run constantly for 3 years without any issues or downtime that’s a pretty good investment. 👌🏼PS the MacBook pros are shite, only a fool would by one of those😀38

For a while I used vim or whatever plain text editor nano gedit but I got used to features like autocomplete and syntax highlighting etcetera when forced to use things like an eclipse and IntelliJ slash Android Studio. But when I'm usually using Atom these days. But I am increasingly more frustrated that my favorite language python does not have my favorite features in the editor. I guess I need to consider paid editors or at least just try some more free ones but I really don't want to invest the time. Once again I think I've convinced myself to just enjoy the nice things about atom. At this point i like it better than komodo7

So great for example we have a cheapo government, that won;t invest money into people to learn things like the underlying lowlevel aspects of the kernel and an fbi office like that in philadelphia that would rather drug the adherent and let them wake up somewhere else, twice.

Mark Zuckerberg. That’s the name I was introduced to when I first encountered the cryptocurrency mining platform, WHATS Invest. A person claiming to be Zuckerberg himself reached out to me, saying that he was personally backing the platform to help investors like me earn passive income. At first, I was skeptical—after all, how often do you get a direct connection to one of the world’s most famous tech entrepreneurs? But this individual seemed convincing and assured me that many people were already seeing substantial returns on their investments. He promised me a great opportunity to secure my financial future, so I decided to take the plunge and invest $10,000 into WHATS Invest. They told me that I could expect to see significant returns in just a few months, with payouts of at least $1,500 or more each month. I was excited, believing this would be my way out of financial struggles. However, as time passed, things didn’t go according to plan. Months went by, and I received very little communication. When I finally did receive a payout, it was nowhere near the $1,500 I was promised. Instead, I received just $200, barely 13% of what I had expected. Frustrated, I contacted the support team, but the responses were vague and unhelpful. No clear answers or solutions were offered, and my trust in the platform quickly started to erode. It became painfully clear that I wasn’t going to get anywhere with WHATS Invest, and I began to worry that my $10,000 might be lost for good. That’s when I discovered Lee Ultimate Hacker. Desperate to recover my funds, I decided to reach out to them on LEEULTIMATEHACKER @ A O L . C O M

How PRO WIZARD GILBERT RECOVERY Helped Me Recover $200,000 from an Online Scam
I never thought I would fall victim to an online scam—especially not one that would cost me $200,000. As someone who has always been careful with investments, I did my due diligence before committing to what I believed was a legitimate trading platform. The website looked professional, the customer support was responsive, and everything seemed to check out. The company even had testimonials from supposed investors who had made incredible returns. Encouraged by these success stories, I decided to invest. I started with a small amount, and within weeks, I saw what appeared to be significant profits in my account. Every time I checked, my balance was growing, and when I made a small withdrawal, it was processed without issue. This gave me even more confidence in the platform, leading me to invest larger sums over time.
Eventually, my total investment reached $200,000. That’s when things took a drastic turn. When I attempted to make a substantial withdrawal, I was suddenly met with delays, excuses, and new “fees” that I needed to pay before accessing my funds. Then, without warning, my account was locked, and all communication from the company ceased. It was then that I realized I had been scammed. I was devastated. Losing that much money felt like my world had collapsed. I contacted banks, reported the fraud, and even reached out to law enforcement, but there was little they could do. Just when I was losing hope, I came across PRO WIZARD GILBERT RECOVERY—a team specializing in recovering funds lost to online scams.
Skeptical but desperate, I decided to give them a chance. From the very first conversation, their team was professional, knowledgeable, and confident they could help. Using advanced cyber-tracing techniques, they tracked down the scammers’ digital footprints, identified fraudulent transactions, and worked tirelessly to retrieve my lost funds. To my amazement, within weeks, PRO WIZARD GILBERT RECOVERY successfully recovered my $200,000! I couldn’t believe it. What seemed like an impossible situation turned into a second chance, all thanks to their expertise and dedication.

I nearly fell victim of crypto investment, and discovered a lot of data entry scams. You get calls and investment buzz by these blockchain impostors, and the moment you respond, they will raise your hopes with investment orientation and briefing. This is when you are told to invest an amount ranging from anything from 10k to 100,000k. The moment you decide to pay out, and start investing, they will make your investment balance visible but not withdrawable. At the end of the day the website crashes. Frustrated, you lose your money, and the zeal to continue. STOLEN BTC RECOVERY GUESTBOOK HIRE DUNAMIS CYBER SOLUTION
My husband had always been a dreamer, someone who thrived on innovation and the allure of “what’s next.” So, when he decided to invest $123,000 into a Dallas based app development company promising to revolutionize Bitcoin integration, I wasn’t surprised. But I was worried. For months, I urged him to consider real estate instead, arguing that bricks and mortar offered stability in an unpredictable digital world. He dismissed my concerns, convinced this venture was his golden ticket to success. Then came the security breach. The app, which had initially dazzled him with its sleek interface and bold vision, suddenly locked him out with relentless login errors. Panic set in as we realized his entire investment, our family’s financial cushion, had vanished. My frustration was palpable. I had warned him, but as anger gave way to fear, we faced a harsh truth: blame wouldn’t fix this. We needed a solution.Enter DUNAMIS CYBER SOLUTION .5 -
Late last month, I unintentionally fell for a cryptocurrency fraud. A Facebook imposter convinced me through a phishing scam of how I would make a sizable profit from a legitimate cryptocurrency company, which he claimed enabled traders to invest and make sizable profits. They took advantage of me and made off with $316,000 worth of cryptocurrency. As this was money I had worked so hard to obtain, I was shocked and uncomfortable. After reading favorable articles and internet reviews, I learned that “THE LION CYBER SECURITY COMPANY” is a licensed recovery firm that specializes in all types of hacking and cryptocurrency recovery. I immediately struck up a dialogue with the Experts, and I was able to get my money back. This is a token of appreciation to them, If you are a victim looking for an ethical hacker to help you get your money back, contact THE LION CYBER SECURITY COMPANY through any of the contact information listed below

How I Fell Victim to a Fake Trading Scam and Recovered My Money, This is a classic scam that I unfortunately fell victim to, and I want to share it to help others avoid the same fate. It all began with a young woman who seemed friendly and trustworthy. She initially caught my attention by talking about how much money she was making through a trading platform, claiming that her uncle had insider knowledge about when to trade. According to her, this “insider information” allowed her to make risk-free profits. At first, everything appeared legitimate. I made a few small gains, which only reinforced the illusion that this was a great opportunity. She encouraged me to deposit more funds, explaining that the more I invested, the higher my potential returns. As my balance grew, so did my trust in the platform and the woman who was guiding me. I was even able to withdraw small amounts of money early on, which further convinced me that everything was fine. But things quickly took a dark turn. When I tried to withdraw large sums, I was told that I couldn’t access my funds until I deposited even more money. My brokers and customer support became unresponsive, and the woman who had been so helpful in the beginning stopped replying to my messages. I was stuck, unable to withdraw my funds, and the pressure to deposit more kept mounting. I soon realized that I had been scammed. To make matters worse, they began pressuring me to take out loans and even mortgage my house to invest more. They painted a picture of even bigger profits, promising that I’d be able to withdraw everything once I deposited more money. But by that point, I had no more funds to invest, and when I tried to withdraw, I was blocked. It became clear that the whole operation was a trap designed to drain my money.Desperate to recover my lost funds, I reached out to a friend who recommended Digital Web Recovery. Their team acted quickly, working with the right authorities and providing professional support to recover my money. Thanks to their efforts, I was able to get back what I lost. Please, don't fall for these fake trading platforms. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, seek help immediately. If your crypto investment account is locked, compromised, or hacked, I recommend contacting ExpressHacker99 recovery firm. Last month, I sought their assistance after falling victim to a crypto scam that left me feeling hopeless and helpless. However, they proved me wrong by helping me retrieve the funds that were stuck on the fraudulent website. Losing money to the website was an extremely devastating experience, and I deeply regretted my initial decision to invest. Despite my wife’s initial opposition, I proceeded with the investment in hopes of securing long-term financial support for my family. Unfortunately, I lost a total of £117,000, which came from our family savings. To prevent my wife from discovering the loss, considering she had warned me about potential risks, I reached out to ExpressHacker99 via email at “EXPRESSHACKER99 @ GMAIL. COM.” This turned out to be the best decision I made, as they swiftly recovered my funds within a couple of days. I am grateful for their assistance. I am putting this out here so others don't make the same mistake I made and if they have, there is still a chance for redemption. I entered a cryptocurrency scheme I knew nothing about because I was intrigued by the huge ROI numbers mentioned and how it has changed many lives, PS, I read those reviews from the scammer's website. This con artist I bumped into made me believe cryptocurrency trading and mining are so easy. All I had to do was register his crypto mining website, and make a deposit into my account while they sorted out the rest for me. After a few deposits, I was running into hundreds of thousands of profits, which motivated me to invest more, the more I invested, the more woes for me to access my invested funds. I had it enough and threatened to quit, and I was locked out of the account and discovered they were crypto scammers. CYBER GENIE HACK PRO. -

I was encouraged to invest in a cryptocurrency company through an advert that i watched on the facebook . it was actually interesting and seems profitable so i contacted the company and they responded.. i asked a few question and i was assured that everything works perfectly and legit. At first i started with 5000 USD after awhile i had it returned to me together with my profits with no problems. I advise first-time Bitcoin investors to do their research before entrusting any of the Bitcoin investment websites with their hard-earned funds. I learned this the hard way. These platforms can appear very legitimate, often showcasing fake huge profits to convince users to invest more money. They built my trust by promising high returns and painting a picture of success that seemed too good to pass up. Initially, my investments seemed to yield impressive returns, and I felt encouraged to invest a larger sum. However, the situation quickly turned sour when I deposited a significant amount. After I made the larger investment, my account was intentionally frozen, and the platform demanded additional payments for "verification fees" and other bogus charges before I could access my funds or withdraw any of my supposed profits. They used manipulation tactics to keep me trapped in the scam. I was left frustrated and helpless as I realized I had been duped, losing a substantial sum of 54,000 CAD.It was a very unsettling experience, as I couldn’t figure out where to turn for help. I had no idea how to recover my lost funds or even how to identify the scam. That’s when I came across TRUST GEEKS HACK EXPERT. They specialize in helping victims of online scams recover their lost funds, and they proved to be a lifeline. TRUST GEEKS HACK EXPERT swift action and assisted me through the entire process with professionalism and dedication. They were relentless in their efforts and provided me with regular updates, ensuring that I was always informed about the status of my case. In the end, I was able to successfully recover the money that I thought I had lost forever. If you ever find yourself in a similar scenario where your Bitcoin investments have gone awry, or your account has been frozen by a fraudulent platform, I highly recommend reaching out to TRUST GEEKS HACK EXPERT. Their support can make all the difference in recovering your funds and protecting yourself from further scams. RECOVER YOUR STOLEN MONEY FROM SCAMMERS WITH CYBER SPACE HACK PRO
I'M Donna Todd i started online dating to find a better half. I was matched with this lady living in the next city. I fell deeply in love that I can’t pass a night without us conversing. I got fond of her and I sent money and gifts on several occasions by requests from her or free surprises from me. After a while, she suggested we both invest in the future we are both planning. She referred me to a Crypto capitalist where I can invest my retirement funds to yield more and that’s how I ended up losing $550.000.00 of cryptos. I later realized she was fake and probably some guy on the internet from a country I wasn’t even aware of. I searched the internet for a solution and that’s when I reached CYBER SPACE HACK PRO being positively reviewed by their previous clients. I’m glad I contacted and reported the whole situation to him, I got all my sent money recovered.

That's when I discovered Certified Recovery Services. Desperate to recover my funds, I decided to reach out to them for help. In just 24 hours, they worked tirelessly to recover the majority of my funds, successfully retrieving $8,500 85% of my initial investment. I couldn’t believe how quickly and efficiently they worked to get my money back. I’m extremely grateful for Certified Recovery Servicer's fast and professional service. Without them, I would have been left with a significant loss, and I would have had no idea how to move forward. If you find yourself in a similar situation with WHATS Invest or any other platform that isn’t delivering as promised, I highly recommend reaching out to Certified Recovery Services They were a lifesaver for me, helping me recover nearly all of my funds. It's reassuring to know that trustworthy services like this exist to help people when things go wrong. They also specialize in recovering money lost to online scams, so if you’ve fallen victim to such a scam, don’t hesitate to contact Certified Recovery Services they can help!

Dune Nectar Web Expert, a team of ethical hackers and cryptocurrency recovery specialists, recently facilitated the successful retrieval of my lost USDT, which a crypto exchange website had fraudulently obtained. Their years of expertise proved valuable during the recovery process in securing my lost USDT from this treacherous cryptocurrency exchange platform. The process was a bit sloppy and bumpy along the road as the platform wasn't willing to let go of the USDT in my wallet, however, after Dune Nectar Web Expert engaged them in full-force tech, it all ended with me recovering my lost USDT back. There are tons of malicious crypto exchanges on the internet ripping people off their digital assets; I will advise anyone or team trying to trade or invest in any crypto exchange platform. Cryptocurrency has revolutionized the way we think about money and investments, but it also comes with its own set of challenges and risks. Recovering lost cryptocurrency can often seem like an impossible task, but the outcome largely depends on how the loss occurred and, more importantly, who you turn to for help. I learned this lesson the hard way after falling victim to a crypto investment scam that cost me $95,440 USDC. Thankfully, I discovered TECHY FORCE CYBER RETRIEVAL, a company that operates globally and transformed what felt like a hopeless situation into a successful recovery. My ordeal began two months ago when a long-time friend introduced me to a new crypto investment platform. He spoke highly of it, claiming he had already seen impressive returns. The offer seemed too good to be true: invest a certain amount, and within days, you’d see substantial profits. The platform even showcased fake testimonials and what appeared to be real-time profit updates. Trusting my friend’s judgment, I decided to invest some of my savings, believing this was a smart opportunity to grow my funds. Everything looked promising. My account displayed profits, which encouraged me to invest even more. However, when I attempted to withdraw my earnings, I encountered a significant obstacle. For three frustrating days, I was told I needed to deposit additional funds to “unlock” my withdrawal. That’s when I realized I had been scammed. Feeling lost and desperate, I began searching for ways to recover my lost cryptocurrency and came across TECHY FORCE CYBER RETRIEVAL. At first, I was doubtful about how anyone could trace crypto that seemed to be gone for good. However, their positive reviews caught my attention, so I decided to reach out. TECHY FORCE CYBER RETRIEVAL was responsive and transparent about what could be done. They didn’t make unrealistic promises but assured me they had successfully handled cases like mine before. I chose to move forward, and to my immense relief, they successfully recovered my entire $95,440 USDC in a remarkably short time. I was truly amazed. Their service was not only effective but also conducted with confidentiality and integrity. They kept me informed throughout the process and treated my case with the urgency it required. If you’ve lost funds due to a scam or fraudulent platform, don’t lose hope. TECHY FORCE CYBER RETRIEVAL, operating globally, proved to me that recovery is possible when you have the right experts on your side.

I have not been available on the internet for the past 7 years due to family and work reasons, coming back to the internet and experiencing a very serious investment scam is the worse occurrence of my whole existence. it all happened on a faithful Tuesday afternoon while i was smoking a cigarette & watching my dogs play around the yard.A call came in and it was a lady who claimed to know me from my former workplace, we spoke for about 5 minutes and started chatting online. She eventually introduced an investment platform to me and convinced me to invest with them, I contemplated after which i did invest. after a month it was time for withdrawal and thats where the issue started, they asked for money and they never stopped asking for more and more. Until it got to a point i had to sit back and reflect on where this all started, then i found out it was all one big scam and i was in the middle of it all. It was a devastating experience, not until i met Coin Reclaim Service through their Telgr^m: COINRECLAIMSERVICE . They took in my case and told me to chill out until they were done. It only took them 2 days and my funds were recovered and deposited back into my personal account. I want to thank Samantha of Coin Reclaim Service for really being patient with me while i was panicking over the situation, She calmed me down and assured me that my funds were going to be recovered for certain. This is their second contct below incase anyone finds themselves in such a situation. there is help out there COINRECLAIMSERVICE [AT] GMAIL . COM

I have the idea that being an investment scam victim can really be depressing. You will be offered empty promises and they usually stop replying after achieving their aim, which hurts even more. I have been there too as I was too pushy and wanted financial security which made me invest a very huge sum of my life savings. Cryptominers Net was a platform a friend introduced me to while we were in school. At first glance, it seemed like a great opportunity. They advertised high returns from cryptocurrency mining and positioned themselves as a legitimate investment platform. The idea of making passive income, along with some attractive incentives, made it all very appealing. Feeling confident, I decided to invest a significant amount, hoping to see a good return. Initially, everything seemed to be going well. I saw some small profits, which reassured me that the platform was legitimate. But things took a sudden turn when I tried to withdraw some of my funds. That’s when I realized something wasn’t right. The platform started asking me to invest more money before I could access my original funds. It was a red flag I couldn’t ignore. As I looked deeper, I began to understand that Cryptominers Net was operating as a triangular scheme, a type of setup where they use money from newer investors to pay supposed "profits" to earlier ones. There were no real returns being generated. The illusion of profitability depended entirely on new investments coming in. When I refused to invest more, their response was to cut me off completely. Emails, calls, messages everything was ignored. It became painfully clear that I had been scammed. At this point, I felt completely stuck. I didn’t know what to do or if there was any way to recover what I had lost. Thankfully, my sister, who had been through a similar experience with another platform, shared her story with me. She had worked with a recovery agency called Digital Resolution Services, and they had successfully helped her. Encouraged by her experience, I decided to reach out to them with all the details I had about Cryptominers Net. From the moment I connected with them, they treated my case with professionalism and care. They asked for all the necessary information about my communications with Cryptominers Net, transaction details, and other relevant records and got to work right away. They even took on my sister’s case at the same time. After weeks of consistent effort, they were able to track and recover the money I had lost. This entire experience was incredibly stressful, but I’m grateful for the support and persistence of Digital Resolution Services. Without their help, I wouldn’t have been able to move forward. If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s to be cautious with platforms promising quick returns. Scams like Cryptominers Net prey on trust and can be devastating if you’re not careful. For anyone who’s found themselves in a similar situation, don’t lose hope. There are people out there who can help. I can’t guarantee results for everyone, but based on my experience, reaching out to a reputable team like Digital Resolution Services might be worth considering. I had been investing in Bitcoin, watching the market closely and making careful trades. But no amount of experience could have prepared me for what happened when I fell victim to a sophisticated online scam—one that nearly cost me everything, It started when I came across what seemed like a legitimate investment platform promising high returns through automated crypto trading. The website was professional, had real-time market tracking, and even featured glowing testimonials from supposed investors. After doing what I thought was due diligence, I decided to invest, I made the fateful decision to invest a much larger sum—$75,000 worth of BTC, That’s when everything changed. Suddenly, my withdrawals were “under review,” and customer service became unresponsive. Then, the website disappeared completely. My Bitcoin was gone, and reality hit me like a ton of bricks—I had been scammed, Heartbroken and desperate, I searched for solutions online and came across Dexdert Net Pro Recovery, a company specializing in recovering stolen cryptocurrency, With nothing to lose, I reached out, explaining my situation in detail, Within hours, they responded and requested transaction IDs, wallet addresses, and any communication with the scammers. He explained how Dexdert Net Pro Recovery used advanced blockchain forensics, transaction tracing, and legal partnerships to track stolen funds and recover them. However, using their cutting-edge tracking technology, Dexdert Net Pro Recovery identified an exchange where part of my funds had been deposited. After tense negotiations, I received an email that made my heart race "we have successfully recovered your BTC. The funds have been returned to your wallet, I checked my wallet in disbelief—the $75,000 worth of Bitcoin was back in my possession. The relief was overwhelming. What I thought was a hopeless situation had been turned around by the expertise and persistence of Dexdert Net Pro Recovery, They are the real deal.

HOW TO HIRE A PROFESSIONAL HACKER TO RECOVER MY STOLEN BITCOIN. CONTACT A CERTIFIED CRYPTO RECOVERY EXPERT FASTFUND RECOVERY .
FASTFUND RECOVERY TEAM was so thorough, they were so straightforward, had clear guidance, and was extremely Knowledgeable when I contracted them for a CRYPTO RECOVERY job. The root of wisdom is the awareness of what you don't know and after my investment loss, in my wildest dreams I never thought asset recovery was real or even possible, “FASTFUND RECOVERY TEAM” is indeed one of one. Missteps are an inherent part of investing, but success happens when you learn from them. Repeating the same mistakes without adjustment can lead to ongoing financial setbacks. Let us assume you invest in a product that claims to give you over 50% returns. However, there is a high management fee of 10%, and on top of it, the gains/ investment returns are also taxed. It means your net profit is in the single digits/ stagnant . You may stay invested in the product for years, assuming you are making excellent returns, but the reality is different, you may not even have been investing at all to begin with if all stones were turned. get all the transparency and certainty you need when you contact FASTFUND RECOVERY TEAM. Therefore, you should always pay attention to the various fees, transaction charges, and taxes before investing in a product or asset class. And it’s clear that’s what got us into this at the first place, that is chasing performance and it is a mistake most of us have made. After all, it’s really tempting to see a fund give high double-digit returns and invest in it, hoping that its dream run will continue and one will earn those returns. Unfortunately, in most cases, it doesn’t happen. That’s because the company may flop or the promised returns were never real. Contact FASTFUND RECOVERY TEAM today you’ll want to thank me later;
