If I am responding to a rant or a comment. I would like to be able see the rant or the comment. When writing comments I have found myself paddling between the post and my soon-to-be comment because I forgot what I was responding to in the first place.
Look at the attached image. There's a lot of wasted space that could be useful for this. I think this would be a huge QoL improvement. What do you think?

Back then when I was working on a website logic, I didn't want to comment my code. Despite that, I wrote some things which were obvious and I thought it would be funny to explain obvious things in code. I made a joke out of commenting.

I've been using an axis based movement system for my games for a while now but always had the issue of characters moving faster diagonally because the movement shape would form a square; meaning things would move at twice the speed.
Only now thought 'hang on, direction's act as circles when given a radius..'
Suddenly everything works perfectly fine and all it took was 3 lines of code... Well done Alex you tool.

I just spent 2-3 hours writing a python script to make it easier to format solving system of equations through Gaussian elimination easier. It takes a matrix, then allows the user to perform row operations on it, and then it formats every operation done into LaTeX.
Alternatively, I could have spent that time actually working on the assignment it was meant to help me with, and probably finished 3/4 of it.1 -

It is better to write almost all of the logic used in the code as comments/documentation.
Trust me.
It is a good thing. It increases Code readability.
Nobody is going to copy your logic and get hired in a high paying job or get promoted for that reason. People will come to know about your wit and will appreciate you instead.2 -

Machine learning becoming easier to use and more accessable. I know it's been around a while it's just getting way easier to use with out having to get too nitty gritty in things. I really like the idea off assisting human jobs with automation when possible if it's not practical to completely automate them. That's specifically what I'd one day love to work on.

Not exactly a function in a programming language, but as far as Android SDK goes, typing "adb lolcat" instead of "adb logcat" is easier on fingers, and funnier !

To all the php haters: Try Symfony with Doctrine and Twig.
Doesn't fix the language but makes your life a lot easier (and it even adds Annotation support to php)1
