I want to write a program that uses machine learning to predict questions in an exam. So, the main system we develop and "maintain" is a horrible monolithic huge project that has the majority of the code in one and only one god class.

On top of that, all the main logic is implemented directly in the "main" method (yes, the "public static void main"). Now every time you have to create a method to use it in the main logic, it has to be static!

God, I hate to even look at this class, let alone touch it, I feel dirty, like I'm touching a pile of shit.

Okay so I'm having trouble with JavaScript and this can apply to other languages but for now focus on JS. so I'm learning how to manipulate the DOM and I don't really know how to start I picked out a tutorial but I'm afraid I wont learn a lot from it. here are my concerns and yes they don't all have to do with the DOM
