She - So. Do you read ?
Me - Yes. Infact a lot. Daily. My life is filled with it.
She - Wow. Nice. So what do you read mostly ? Which one is your favourite
Me - Mostly Documentations. Vuejs documentation is my favourite followed by express and mongodb documentation. And yeah webpack. You should read them too. Then there is a book on ES6, 'Understanding ES6' by Nikolas S Zakas, famous author and programmer. Great stuff44 -
That’s fucking insane.... Probably a double post; sorry in advance... I just have to express my anger and amazement for a second.
Angry that they didn’t use such a high powered DDoS attack against say... Facebook or some shit like that, amazed at the sheer size of that attack...
I kinda wanna touch it.22 -
My code passed the review today. It is now being pushed to production. I can't express my happiness 😅17

Instagram coding pics are so fucking cringe worthy....like for real man. A picture of a simple cpp loop, or averyfuckingbasic Express hello world in some hipster filter with inspirational quotes and everyone looses their shit for it.
Instagram people are so easy.11 -
With the wake of some rants shouting at Linuxers who express their opinion in a considered to be very not good way, I decided to make such a rant. Not to be annoying but because, although I get that fanboyism in that way isn't even good in MY opinion, I do think that one should be able to express their opinion.
But, If you'd like to express your opinion, I think you at least should do that with some good arguments. Not everyone might agree with those arguments but hey, that's the point of opinions sometimes :)
I don't hate windows/mac for being windows or mac. Nope.
I hate the systems for not giving the user freedom to do what they wish with the system but more importantly, for integrating their users in worlds biggest mass surveillance program AND on top of fucking that, not giving peoples the option to look at the source code aka at what's ACTUALLY going on in the system. Next to that, Windows 10's data collection is officially not legal in the netherlands so don't even try justifying their fucking data slurping.
Of course there's a chance that they don't contain any bad stuffs but since the Snowden revelations I don't trust those commercial companies anymore on their 'blue' eyes.
Yeah, I've ranted about this before, I know, felt like doing it again in combination with my reason above. I also know that I will probs receive hate for this but oh well, i'm used to that by now.
So yeah, windows and osx: go fuck yourself.21 -
Isn't it funny that an app whose literal express purpose is to whine an complain has turned out to be one of the nicest around?3

I'M STARTING GRAD SCHOOL!!!!! I'm so excited I can't think properly. I started screaming in Latin and German mixed with English because I couldn't remember enough words in any one language to express myself, and I'm still certain I was incoherent.

Just installed VS for Mac and only one word can express my feeling:
Wow!
I feel really inspired to try learn .NET9 -
Cool. 300$ in Google Cloud credits. Maybe I can get to one of those cool projects I’ve been wanting to get to.
spins up server
installs npm
installs mongo
installs express
installs vue
installs material design components
makes title bar and navigation
*okay, good enough for now, i’ll come back later*
*never gets around to it, and 300$ in free credits get exhausted by server running 24/7*13 -
I wanted to rant about some code that should run smoothly but somehow doesn't run at all, then I realised I don't know enough English swear words to express my anger and frustration.

The proper use of comments is to compensate for our failure to express ourself in code.

I must be dreaming .... Honestly! I am with a client that knows what he wants and has no problem to express it in clear words. They understand my tech talk and talk back in tech as well. We are on the same page regarding best practises. They envy my work and have really good ideas and express constructive criticism. What is going on here? I must be in a parallel universe or something?
Okay, one downside... Coffee is not free but a cup is 20ct, which is quite alright imho anyway. Oh, the even bigger downside... Things have been so constructive that my time there is almost over since shit got actually done in the most efficient way ever!8 -
Q: WHO THE FUCK USES EXCEL FOR PROJECT MANAGEMENT?
A: My Product Manager
Excel because she cant wrap her head around using Trello. WHAT THE FUCK!
Some people exist just to make things more difficult for everyone else. Fucking pain in the ass.
This person is one of the most incompetent one I have ever met.
I dont have enough words to express my rage right now.13 -

Hey folks, I've just launched the https://okso.app - it is a drawing app that you may use to express, grasp, and organize your thoughts and ideas.
One key feature there is that you may organize your drawings/sketches into a hierarchical tree structure so that a large amount of data would be more manageable and less overwhelming.
I hope you find this app useful!10 -
The beauty of DevRant is that you don't need to assign people as "friend" in order to express thoughts and share them with like-minded awesome people.3

One of the speakers at a tech conference I went to used a screenshot from here to express her frustration with Webpack. I would've never found this app if it wasn't for her. Thank you and hello everyone!4

From 'Javascript' then 'jquery' 😬 then 'angular 1' 😐..wait their is 'angular 2' damn this just a new framework compared to angular 1.(back-end) 'Nodejs' 😩, wait! you have to learn 'Express' after sometime upgrade to 'Hapi' wait now am on 'loopback' can't we just have one standard framework 😣😣😣12

!rant, just wanted to express my excitement to someone

How many of you developers agree with Robert C Martin that commenting should be avoided as much as possible and that it should only arise when we fail to express ourself effectively through code.27 -
Learning Node.js, Express, React.js, ES6, and Mongo all at once. Haven't been this excited about programming since college. This stuff is incredible!10

Coding gave me a way to express my creativity. It gave me meaning. When I was young I was constantly trying to find what I was good at. It's frustrating because I have one more year of uni doing what doesn't interest me.
Nevertheless, I'm glad I found what I want to do for the rest of my life 🐢.1 -
Parents call me dumb but this is what happens when they don't understand probabilities and contrarianism....
There are 3, express trains (let's call A, B, C) in the morning 5 minutes apart.
After which the next one in 20 mins...
My parents can't be bothered to get up 10 minutes earlier and aim for A.
Today C got cancelled.
And here's the result... ORZ
And I'm late to work... With more stress than need....
So yea... I don't think I'm dumb, quite frankly I think I'm smarter than them and a lot of ppl...22 -

Friend got me a rubber giraffe because he couldn't find a rubber duck for my birthday. This is a toy for infants and it's perfect. Apart from satisfying the use case of a rubber duck for debugging, it has added features like you can chew it when you're too frustrated (coz it's made chewable for babies) and when you press it, it makes the weird peep peep noise so that you can express your glee in successfully finding and fixing a bug.
10/10 would recommend.7 -
Ha ha ha ha. Fucking morons!

How to teach a 5 yr child to code?
The method is simple you don't need to teach him to code just help him to understand the method to execute a task. It took me years to understand that coding is a way to express what you want to say- the method and also is our expression. So, if you can help him/her to understand what to express, then I believe the method on how to express is totally unworthy. He/she can say printf("I know this") or print("I know this") or #I know this or he/she may create a new language.
Which you might call: The Baby's Code in future
If you like it do ++7 -
If anyone wants to create a webapp using React, Express, Webpack, Babel I just created a boilerplate to make things easy for you guys. It contains extremely basic files and the whole file structure including Redux structure. I've struggled a lot to understand and combine this technologies. I've felt like now that I understand I should share with you guys.

So I'm playing around with Node late at night and decide to make something of it. Made a real-time 2-way communication system with NodeJS, Express and Socket.io. The UI currently looks cheap, but it's clean. Open multiple tabs to see it in action.
You can also send private messages by typing /p username message. I could add authentication here and also connect it to MongoDB.
Any other ideas or reviews? Also any other ideas for Node projects? Thank you.

I can't begin to express how utterly useless timestamps like "Today, about 15 minutes ago" or "Yesterday", or "Monday", or "Two Weeks Ago" are.
Those aren't times. Those are relative descriptions of times and are utterly useless.
If I don't know the current date for any number of reasons, such as when viewing a screenshot, it's a worse description than not having one at all.
Again, I am stymied by Apple's insistence to make everything that much less useful for literally no gain.7 -

Worst tool:
Your brain

- imposter syndrome

First few times being made to make mobile responsive emails (from scratch, not generators) was an utter psychedelic mess I never wish to have the pleasure of returning too.
I since have had the pleasure of refusing this, as being able to maintain this chaotic mess created which has to be able to work across the major email clients is just a living nightmare.

How I wasted my Sunday:
A programmer I know claimed that his Nodejs app was lightweight since it only relied on 2 dependencies (express and mongodb)
So I wrote a script to recursively transverse the npm dependency tree and count the number of dependencies there actually is
Installing those 2 packages alone means your app depends on 73 pieces of software in total
In conclusion, nothing written in Node is ever lightweight
Oh yeah, it was also Easter I guess8 -
It has sated my hunger for never-ending knowledge.
It allows me to freely express myself.
It has given me the goal to surpass all these people who are better than me.
Also unlimited anger that can end me up behind bars. -
It's really annoying when "programmers" who have only worked on one language/framework defend it as superior against any other framework. If you haven't tried Rails, how the fuck can you say Express is better? $;:&/@:$).
PS: if you've tried both and you like Express over Rails, I have nothing against you :)1 -
I cant express how outraged this makes me feel.

Just spent an hour looking at the NYC Subway maps vs the direction Google wanted me to take.
Google found the most efficient way is to take E train then transfer to R which then goes back a bit like a U-turn to get to my stop.
Then looking at the subway map, I can just take the R train... Since none of these trains are express... How the fuck did Google think that A-B-C is faster than A-C....11 -

What To Learn?
I'm a beginner in web development and have knowledge about html, css, JavaScript, jQuery, Sass, NodeJS, Express, MongoDB, Passport. You can consider me to be a beginner full stack developer, but I'm confused about what to learn further. There are so many front end frameworks that one can spend his entire life learning them. React, Vue, Angular, Backbone, etc. But I always want to learn backend properly, then there's Rails, PHP, SQL, Python. Can anyone atleast tell me what to learn and why exactly? This thing's making me mad and anxious.24 -

Finally, I'm opening my mind to Javascript and I'm beginning to learn Node.js.
It seems really great... I think I will try using Express right now.
But then, I would like to try a front-end Javascript framework and I hesitate between Vue.js and Angular...18 -
Just gonna leave this here because I am too lazy to write a proper article for my website:
If anyone is trying to create a Vue.js website with Node.js backend do NOT use express-vue, it is unnecessarily complicated and broken. Instead use this method I found.
You will need:
- IntelliJ IDEA / WebStorm / other IDE supporting multiple modules per project and tasks
- Nodejs and npm
- vue-cli
Step by step:
1. Create new empty project
2. Add your frontend module using vue-cli generator
3. Add your backend module using Express generator
4. Run npm build in your frontend module once
5. Move or remove public folder in your backend module
6. Create a symlink from your backend module root called public pointing to dist folder in your frontend module root
7. Make sure to add "Run npm build" from frontend module to your "bin/www" task (default task for Express module)
8. Enjoy developing your REST API in Node/Express and your frontend in Vue.js with single-file components and it being served by the same server that is providing the backend.
(Since they are separate modules and you are not mixing webpack and Node/Express you can add ts-loader, stylus-loader, pug-loader or any other loaders without screwing anything up)
For deployment you just need to copy the contents of dist into public on the server. (and not upload the symlink)6 -

We are always open for contributors! If you’re intern or junior developer and you want a real world experience with NodeJS/Express, REST API, OAuth2, MongoDB and React/Redux stack with detailed code reviews from senior developer, we’re open for your contributions. No experience required.
Cheers!11 -
Apart from linux, it has to be vue.js, quasar and express.js
Vue.js had made my development extremely easy, faster and managable
Quasar brought great Styling and various other powerful features to vuejs. Thus helping save even more time
And express.js don't need any explanation. Better code organization and easy to get started. -

There are lots of Angular and React jobs here in my area. Very few Vue jobs here (like 1 to 5 maximum job posts I have seen). I'm a PHP dev and it seems most companies are shifting to full stack JS development (MERN, MEAN, NodeJS + Express JS, etc.) along with some mobile development (ionic, cordova, etc)

But between Angular and React, I prefer Angular.6 -

Everyone ranting about how they express themselves through code.
And here I am on project where I can make almost no decisions myself.
I got into coding for the same reason as everyone else. I'm pretty good, so they put me on this project. Junior guys get all the good stuff, 'cause this project is too important. Ironic, eh?2 -
I am programming a site where developers can share shell scripts and other users can execute it via a CLI.
I decided to add a little joke into it: the page where users can view a shell script is https://mukodik.com/scriptid.sh
I use Express, so I just use app.get('/:id.sh') to get the scriptid.
How would someone possibly bug out this page? (the uploaded shell script is not actually stored in a file, it's stored in a mysql database(using connection.escape to escape chars))2 -
Finally started to learn Node.js and actually set up a small server with node and express and ejs, it honestly works nice but requires so many small things that take a bit to set up, while an apache server running PHP and Mysql would take me 5 minutes max to set up, but either way still trying to make that transition.5

Web developers, please recommend a tech stack. I have work experience in Laravel, Angular and Node Express. Personal small experience only for Vue and React.
Frontend: Angular, React or Vue?
Backend: Node Adonis JS or PHP Laravel?
CSS framework: Angular Material(angular), Material-UI, Tailwind CSS or Bootstrap?
This is for a personal project API based. What frontend backend tech stack are you using right now? Thanks!23 -
The amount of willful ignorance about how “master/slave” might be offensive to some people is disheartening. Not surprising, but disheartening.
I thought it was suspect back in the 90s when I was configuring IDE hard drives.
There are loads of terms that express the exact same relational concept, that don’t have their roots in exploitative human relationships.
If you disagree, kindly fuck off. Your shitty attitude is why tech is predominantly white and male.29 -
Constantly feeling like I don't know enough to land a jr. Web dev position. I know html/css/js, I understand the fundamentals of jQuery, I have an early grasp on node and express, and Ive played around with some mongoose and angular. Still, I feel like I'm a thousand steps beyond landing a job. Im about to graduate college in a year and seriously need the money but I have no idea how I'm going to get there.6

I really hate being treated like a junior noob based on years of experience and timidity.
It's not because I don't express myself often that I know nothing. It's not because I haven't been working for long that I don't know sh*t.

Just had a web dev newbie crack a MEAN pun and tell me "Learning it is so MEAN lol". Should i tell him he's only about the 1230193848 x 10^6th person to crack that joke?

Look, extra remote team member. If I hired you with the express requirement that you work and/or live in sync with my time zone, and you claim to live and work in my time zone for a few weeks but you're lying to me and you were actually just on vacation here and have moved back overseas, you SUCK. And now we're firmly entrenched with the project and it's near impossible to fire you at this point if I don't want to deal with a whole new developer and learning curve!!!

Coworker says he *creates a framework* in node.js, saw it and he created some folders (controllers, config, routes) and used express...

At internship with a fellow student from my class, making a SqliteHelper class in php to make things easier. Delete methods only have only one parameter (Primary key)

What's the best nodejs framework for the MEAN stack? I need to do additional things to put TypeScript in node js and express. I have seen nestjs with a good directory structure and also uses TS by default. How about meteor or Koa?
Should I just add TS to my existing node and express? Or use nestjs or some other nodejs framework. What do you suggest?3 -
Got a new devops "manger" today we had an argument for 20 mins about why Staging/UAT was needed and why we could not just by pass it and get to prod quicker .. WHAT?! I am dumbfounded I do not have words to express the emotions I am having right now.2

What are your thoughts about Symfony VS Laravel?
I prefer Laravel. It is much simpler than Symfony but most enterprises are using Symfony. However Laravel is keeping up also (gaining a lot of traction and users).
Laravel = Symfony on Steroids
I wonder why so many people prefer Laravel?
Who's a hardcore Symfony user here? I experienced using both but I prefer Laravel.
Right now I'm studying NodeJS, Express, Angular as it is more popular than Symfony. Also most requiremetns in job posting nowadays.6 -
Day 11 of devWholesome...
I think it is very important today to express how much we care about others. Today I want you to do something nice for a friend or family member and tell them how much you care about them. You realize how important the ones around us are and what they mean to you. Tell me what you did today that fulfills that goal in the comments. And as always, make the most out of your day!1 -

I feel there aren't enough tutorials on "best practices" when it comes to combining server/client tooling in a monorepo.
Having done so this weekend, the tasks involved were:
* using graphql w/ express to serve requests and expose a "graphiql" ide instance
* differentiating build steps in prod vs. dev
* applying middleware in prod vs. dev
* working with a single heroku dyno
Still missing:
* hot reloading
* my general sense of direction -

Coming from NodeJS, writing APIs with Express, I now do my first steps writing APIs in golang with gin.
Now I know, Express is not the fastest solution out there, but I mean - a good 30ms is alright for non-high-performance backends. And I always thought that's on the faster end of HTTP handling..
..but then I used gin. A GET request doing a MongoDB-write and returning some json. 3ms response time. THREE MILISECONDS. holy fuck. By it's debug logs the actual handling took 540 MICROSECONDS. holy fuck I'm in love.8 -

Tried to put my latest dev frustration in to a rant. By the time I managed to express it in English, it lost its urgent edge, and it no longer seemed big enough deal to post it here.

This aesthetics in physics that is hard to explain to someone outside the field. How beautiful for example that you can express the whole classical mechanics in just 1 equation and electro magnetism in 4, that sense of symmetry and clarity they express. Essentially in what Einstein and others believed: that the universe is a orderly place not chaos and that its rules can be understood by our crippled minds.
And I think there is a similar notion in code. As physicists are driven to more general and powerful theories that shall some time explain all interactions of matter that we know of, programmers, I believe, strive for similar ideals: brevity, conciseness, generality, abstraction, powerfulness of your symbolic system - one line of code to end it all. -
Guys, I'm a developer on my own time. I've worked as a Junior Engineer in American Express while still obtaining my bachelor's degree in my second year of college. However I had to quit because full time work and school was not possible. Reading a book on React and how data/changes flow one way... down.

Recently i finished college and got a job as an ASP.NET dev in a company.
The company uses ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core and angular.
I've worked with flask, express and PHP but very new to C# and .NET.

The documentation seems very hard for me.
Could someone please suggest some resources for asp.net and .net core6 -

I got a new idea : I'm writing some python scripts to help me in my projects at school, I think it will help me a lot !
But I would like to code some scripts for my side-projects that are made using full JS.
NodeJS + Express + Sequelize for the Web API and ReactJS and HighlightJS for the client.
I would like to know if you could give me some ideas of scripts I could write for these JS side-projects ? -

just a quick rant to express my HATRED towards java.
Today I played minecraft a bit to release some stree (plis dont tell anybody xD)
FUCKING HELL
1) Java boasts with its portability. Except it doesnt even have a proper runtime for linux
2) ITS SUPER SLOW
3) FAHCKING HELL it's so broken when you start with custom hardware (might be the fault of Gl tho)
^^ those points dont list the horrors of coding in it. I have already accomplished some coding challenges in it, and I know it to be an epitome of misery14 -
So maybe stack overflow is better for this...but it's kind of ranty too so here goes.
Any react + typescript devs here? Cause I did something dumb. I ejected the project because I needed to build a custom express implementation...long story short, I can't run a webpack react dev server or use hot reload. Which is a PAIN! If I wanted to wait for a full TS and react static recompile after changing a css prop....I wouldn't be in the web game!!
Has anyone else had this and fixed it??1 -

for that you push the update, you did npm outdated 3 days ago, everything looked fine.
Npm outdated today would want you to update by 10 versions. I don't know if I'm alone, but seems weird to me that 10 versions jump has happened ... :D we know npm..
and even weirder is the output of npm outdated compared to what package.json diff: express-status-monitor current version1.1.0 latest 1.1.2 -

I'm betting that it's just me... but this whole (req, res) in express.js is hard to adjust to. It may as well be (r, s) or anything that doesn't look so similar. I'm writing (request, response) but I'm thinking about just using entirely different words that don't start with the same letter.1

I have a question. I currently use PHP when creating my API's, however, I am unsure wether to move on from it. I use either laravel or lumen to do so and use vuejs for the client apps. I am proficient in Java and JavaScript and wondering wether I should move over to spring/spark or express. I have been programming for almost 10 years now and just finished my first year in uni. I want to appeal to employers for my placement year and I know they look down on php. So, should I go with java spring/spark or express ? Other suggestions are welcome!6

Neat trick that I discovered today:
Because React.useCallback is a thing, you never need a custom react hook to take a dependency array. You can always express your dependencies by wrapping the callback in useCallback and having useCustom pass the callback itself as its own dependency. -

Why the fuck do I have to complete situational strength tests related to commercial shit when I'm applying for a Software Developer role? What the fuck is up with companies nowadays? Guys. I'm doing a fairly large scale which will need to serve a few thousands of customers. It's the first time I'm planning to deploy an express node.js to VPS. Want to ask you, shall I look for VPS which have support to MongoDB, or is it okay to use atlas - MongoDB cloud for the user database? I feel a bit weird about having the server on one cloud and the DB on another one. Or is it normal nowadays?7

Question time, i currently have a project in beginning stages. I has a node-js back-end build with express and sequelize. My current frontend is build in twig. And is within the back-end project structure. Now i have heard that the current hype is to take those separate. What is the best approach, and what frontend should i use? So after deploying an update for my apps api this morning, I very quickly had to move hosts as openahift for some reason does not install express on its 8.x container, heck its not even in the package lock file, and no help from Google. On the plus side, new ones faster, even though it's further away, and I can only image a replica set DB is better than a single instance.

So I've been tackling the Multer package with express and react, Christ what a nightmare so far. I can't get anything to work.
- Images as array string in mongoDB check

- type file check
- express configuration based on the Multer docs check
Everything as far as I can tell is as it should be, yet nothing gets saved.

Was too much into jquery, and so when I started my job I made everyone think jquery is the boss and stuff (my team is full of data engineers and business analysts.. No one understands code)

Does it make sense? Please advice... I am nervous of losing my job coz of this

At what point should I feel my skills are strong enough to apply for a junior front end position? Something annoying about the Node.JS and express stack: no way to globally catch errors using middleware.
I mean, you can try. There's even specific middleware designed for it. However, it only catches synchronous errors. So basically only controllers that don't fetch or upload any sort of data and just return some static view or whatever.
ASP.Net middleware chain is so much more robust :(5 -
Good thing I found out about www.repl.it well it is like stackblitz that can host many programing languages with frameworks like node + express.
So my frontend will be in stackblitz then backend can be in repl.it
Database can be in firebase or heroku + jawsdb + mysql/postures.
Good for POC or test projects you want to do online. Hope this helps someone. -

Svelte is great, and React is the worst thing to happen to JavaScript.
I mean, seriously, just to make one app you have to have this massive React project, as well as a runtime. Svelte compiles it into a small bundle that's not too large with *no runtime*!
React, Bootstrap and Express have spawned a new wave of "Braindead JavaScript Developers™" that are beginning to become inescapable; it sucks.6 -

How do folks feel about IoC/DI?
I used Spring and Angular for the first few years of my career, so it seemed like it was a mandatory pattern of a framework and my team would never deploy an app that couldn't use it (even if it was just a Lamda or something, we found smaller DI libraries). Now I work in Express and React, and I look back and feel that those patterns required me to write more code, created more complexity, and wasn't any easier to read or understand, and was way more bug prone, and debugging the injection pipeline itself was effectively not possible.
I guess I'm wondering: what do people feel that it buys them?15 -

Do you know how to validate file size + mime type of the file before saving it to the disk?
Here is an instruction:
1. In one place you provide a it a fileFilter function that will validate the mime type, but this function can not validate file size or send user response.
2. In second place provide it a config limits file, that will validate file size, but can not validate mime type
3. In third place you provide middleware to capture any errors caused by previous 2 places and send response back to the user.
4. Go google for what is cb in multer because their shit documentation says nothing about it
Such simple thing as request->validation->response is split into 3 different parts, each of different type: callback, config file and middleware.
Why do so much people use this shit written by a braindead retarded morons?3 -

It's a form of artistic expression for some people (like me) who aren't as great with paper and pen but still have ideas and patterns and concepts and abstractions to express.
Watching the data just flow through the pipelines and pathways you've laid down for it, creating spectacles from what is essentially electricity running through a rock. Being able to create an interface between a human mind and an inanimate dead block of dug out and processed ore, feels like tapping into the metaphysical.
(Yeah I'm pretentious with words) -

How do I write an essay?
If you're working within a time frame then you require tackling it in an organized way. I typically jot down quickly the central ideas I want the essay to deliver. I typically work a bit more on the introduction and the conclusion of the essay. I believe they tend to have a somewhat more lasting effect on the brain. Good use of vocabulary is icing on the cake and adding just a tad bit of your stylе can do wonders. I always choose a theme. In the first few minutes I decide whether I desire it to be monotonous or riveting or slightly sarcastic or just factual depending on the theme. The best of the essays I've come cross ways have very clear and lucid language and they now hit the nail in the head. Every writer has his own way. Try to expand one. Expressing ideas accurately is what keeps the readers absorbed. Don't miss to hit a chord with your readers. The best essay writing service [ https://buyessays.us/ ] should to clearly express the correspondence direct set up. Also, it ought to express the sufficiency of the channels as evaluate by clients.5 -
How to separately host the backend and the frontend ???
I have express API repository which is currently hosted in Heroku along with its documentation site written in ejs.
But now I'm planning on separating the docs website with gatsby and moving it into another repo and hosting it on netlify while the API service still remains in Heroku.
Here is the end goal :
"/" : the docs website.(netlify)
"/api" : the API services.(heroku)
Can someone help me with how to implement this in the actual application?3 -
Hy all,
I have a question to those that use nodejs, express.
A while back I've seen a project from a friend of mine and one thing intrigued me.
He was using a route.json file to call from it in his back-end api.
I am a noob still but I would really like to know what was that technique he was using.
I hope my description wasn't to vague.4 -
I would definitely recommend EzPrint to anyone who is looking for good service, good quality namecards at super great discounted price ! The person-in-charge was very patient, and asked for relevant information to ensure the best quality printout to our best input contribution. Looking at the incredible, extremely unbelievable LOW price quoted, I felt there must be hidden cost here and there.
