Most of our university courses are stuck in the early 2000. Feels like it's mostly due to lazy professors who just use the same material year after year.
What do you think?
It feels like I'm not learning anything useful anymore. Should get out of here ASAP.10 -
I hate the idea of a programmer's day.
I like the logic (256th day) but hate the idea.
It feels full of bullshit. It feels fake.
I guess it had that wannabe impersonator vibe to it that makes me nauseated.
I have similar feelings towards other kinds of such days.7 -
It feels like you are talking to yourself while commits when you create a github repo and you are the only contributor. :p2

The piece of software I'm working on at my job just feels fucking stupid and brainless right now. I know it is not, I know it's working, I know it'll be actually useful to its users but I don't feel like that.
I usually go by telling myself "Most of the time I do like what I do, but sometimes it's just work that has to be done" - but for the last month or so it felt like my motivation is completly drained and not coming back fast enough. Just thinking about it feels like desperate, tired crawling on Legos.
On the other hand, at least I've got some motivation for my studies back which feels great. -
Just got those 1k ++ and finally placed the rubber ducky on my desk.

Why does youtube keep suggesting videos I already saw?
Seriously, this must be what going insane feels like. Questioning whether I already saw a certain video every time something feels familiar and having Déja Vus all over the place. Youtube keeps digging out videos I watched a few years ago.6 -

I'm working on a JavaEE Webshop (Uni assignment) that has to send and receive JMS messages to and from a server, which is located inside the university network, so I have to use a VPN to run the shop. The problem is, the VPN is so goddamn slow that I get SocketTimeOutExceptions regularely! I have Gigabit-Connection, but with the VPN it slows down to ~1Mbps for whatever reason, which is apparently too slow for Java.2

I recently graduated and got a full time job at a startup I really like. The software team is fairly small (less than 10 people) and they are all significantly older than me (8+ years). Definitely feels weird being a young-whipper snapper

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
So in my groups project where we use ASP.NET Core MVC where we've needed to add identity. Now I've struggled with this soooo much only for today to get it to work.
The documentation for it (more specifically user roles) isn't very good, and most tutorials basically just do the same thing which has for me thrown exceptions left and right (and I don't even do anything special tbh) without any explanations. But today I finally got it to work, I can seed the database without getting told that there are no service for the RoleManager

it

Then I remembered that I can't "work out" my ugly mug. No matter the effort, you can't tone a fucked up face, chin, nose, whatever, like you can tone your arms or ass. Feels like a case of hard work vs talent, but worse.10 -
