I watched the livestream and cried like a lil bitch.

I can't wait to talk with my kids about today. And I can't even imagine what we'll be capable of at that time.
It took SpaceX 15 years to pull that off and I can't wait to see more. I can't even think about the amount of engineering and developing involved in this project.

Don't get a xiaomi phone if you want to root it.
First the phone comes filled with bloatware which can't be deleted. Then they make you wait for 4 days to approve the bootloader unlock request and then you have to wait for fucking 15 more days to unlock the bootloader of your phone.

I had fixed an issue that took me 2 hours to figure out, then committed the fix. Only to realise that I committed from an external folder (svn)
I messed up somewhere and my fix was gone.

I can't really figure out how I grew from learning_syntax -> remembering_function_names -> following_patterns -> developing_a_personal_style -> reading_the_doc -> getting_the_source.

A few weeks ago I finally got buy in to migrate our web team to GitLab for CI/CD.
All week GitLab has been having issues, pretty much rendering us unable to deploy anything with confidence.

One thing that's very frustrating about being in a globally distributed team is that you have to wait ages for someone to respond on Slack. You can't just walk up to them and ask for something. Most of my time is spent waiting for people to respond.1
