Dev: this task is done, can I put it in review and do something else?
Me: sure, of course.
Dev: cool, just be aware I'll make some changes to it later.
Me: ... wait, then it's not done.
Dev: no it is, I just need to re-read it and make some changes.
Me: yeah, so it will be done when those changes are made.
Dev: but I don't know what those changes are.
Me: ... I get that ... but ... ok I'm extremely confused. Why do you think it's done.
Dev: because I've written everything I need to and I'm happy with it.
Me: ok so why do you want to make changes.
Dev: I don't.
Me: ... ... ... ... you ... you are really not being clear. If you don't want to make changes, and you are happy with it, why are you planning on making changes later ... after marking the task as done.
Dev: well if I re-read it and see something I don't like, I would like to change it.
Me: ok, so re-read it as many times as you like and make as many changes as you like. But don't mark it as done until it is done.
Dev: but it is done.
Me: no it's not.
Dev: it is, look.
Me: ... yeah looks ok at a quick glance.
Dev: ok so I can mark it as done?
Me: are you going to make more changes?
Me: then no.
Me: BECAUSE ITS NOT DONE.
Dev: ok maybe I'm not explaining it clearly.
Me: ... we can both agree on that. Ok so to summarise, we don't mark something as done until we have stopped touching it. We don't half finish something and say it's done and comeback to it later. We mark it as done when we are happy with i.....
Dev: but I am happ.....
Me: *raises hand* I repeat, if it's done, we lock it away and stop touching it. If someone reads it and complains, we can come back to it with a new ticket. But it's not done until we think we are ready to send it on.
Dev: I am ready to send it, I just may want to change it.
Me: ... ... ... ... ... due to a new policy implemented just now, we are only allowed to send 1 email to a person each week. So unfortunately we can only send on 1 copy. So when you have that 1 copy, let me know.
Dev: ok, let me re-read it a few more times then.
Me: there you go.32
Lawyer: "I heard you do websi..."
Never, ever again will I do a website for anyone in the law profession. You can write the most airtight and amazing contract ever devised and they will find a way over, under, around, and through it to SCREW YOU UP THE ASS.12
Providing work estimation:
Dev: This should take about 2 weeks
Non dev: Really? But it's so simple. Shouldn't be that long right? I think it can be done in one week.
*After one week*
Non dev: Why is it still not done? I thought you only need one week?9
i've been working with my plan to make a small software development company for a while now.

Shout out to devs who put comments in your code I'm so done with my team rn
Also we have slack for a reason stop texting me to update everyone on changes...2
I'm a victim of rather severe child abuse, both physical and mental. I've cut my mother out of my life on several occasions, and disowned her husband on father's day a few years ago. Whenever they're in my life they make things slowly but significantly worse.
They'd been using my previous hard times to push their way into my life again, and are now trying to buy their way in -- this time not into my life, but into my 2yo son's life.
I've done everything I could to keep his existence from them. I hid pregnancy from them, dropped any mew mannerisms and cute vocabulary when speaking to them, never let them see toys or hear sounds if I needed to call them, hid the carseat, etc. I did a perfect job. Out of necessity I've been hiding my life from them since I was 13, and I've never done better than this.
But they knew his name, sex, and age. This means they went digging, and a bloody lot. There is literally no public info relating him to me, and nobody that knows us would tell them, either -- they all know and understand.
For years I've refused to tell these people where I lived, too. We've been here for over five years, and three years ago they just randomly showed up at our door. I never gave them an address, and the house isn't in my name. I never had any privacy when I lived with them, either -- literally not even in the bathroom -- but now we have our own house and they still randomly intrude? asldhflakshdf
But. This Christmas Eve, we got two large boxes (fruit flats) stacked full of presents from them. A third for me, a third for my girlfriend, and a third for my 2yo. Name tags and all.
Why can't they just leave us alone? On Christmas of all holidays? Why do they have to ruin everything? Why can't they just go away?
I've made things abundantly clear, and they just. won't. stop. I feel so angry and exasperated and helpless and trapped. I went from listening to "die in a fire" to crying helplessly on the stairs. All I want is to be left alone and not harassed and blackmailed and manipulated and guilted and given expired food as "gifts."
and before you ever even think to defend them, please re-read my first three sentences.
Merry fucking Christmas.44
-"Okay dad, i saw your previous rant on devRant about android studio. So let Me show you how its done!"
Future dev (:2
So, sometimes, when I'm developing across the stack, I'll write the backend part first. When I'm done, I put on my best TV voice and say "meanwhile, in the frontend" before I do that part.
So I found myself explaining to my rubber duck all the things I've done wrong in my past relationships...
What? It's a great guy, I shouldn't limit it just to code issues, I have a life it could fix too4
SO GUESS WHAT
IF YOUR SHITTY WIFI CRAPS OUT DURING A VISUAL STUDIO UPDATE, VISUAL STUDIO FUCKING COMMITS SUICIDE
MICROSOFT CAN SUCK A BIG, VEINY COCK. IM SO DONE WITH THEIR SENSITIVE, CONVOLUTED, SLOW IDE.21
Client: I need this *insert app/machine/thing* ASAP! No excuses!
*work overtime just to get it done*
*after 2 weeks of finishing it*
Me: So has the thing worked without issues?
Client: Oh, I haven’t even used it yet!
Working from home in 2020:
Both kids haven't interrupted me in an unusually long time.... That likely means they're up to no good.
On the other hand I'm getting a lot of coding done (bunch of fixes done / misc new tasks done).
So now I sort of do a little mental math to guess if the damage they might be doing is less than the value of me getting shit done for work....22
Just went skydiving. Realized I probably should have left behind all my clients' site admin passwords in case my chute didn't open. Turns out I'm still alive so no harm done.8
Customer: I want <totally useless app idea that already exists>, how long will it take to build it?
Me: I think such an app already exists, but according to your requirements I believe we could finish it around May 6th.
Customer: OK, but our app will be so much better.
-finishes meeting and signs contract-
Customer: will the app be done soon?
Me: as we discussed in the meeting last week, it won’t be done until May 6th.
Customer: will the app be done soon, when will it be in the app stores?
Me: As I explained yesterday, it won’t be finished before May 6th.
Finally done with being on call/standby so thought I'd order myself a pizza calzone 😍
I'm not saying that this thing is small but it's smaller than my hands.
I don't have very big hands 😭11
Bossman freaks out over every little thing (ironically unless it's important).
Bossman also just set our papertrail 500 filter to forward him a copy of every "critical alert."
He has zero technical knowledge and zero reading comprehension. He literally forwarded one and said "This has one lots of info in it. explain it to me." (It was a log usage notification. in plain English. It had maybe three numbers in it.)
There's lots of useless "500"s in the list we don't care about. API Guy used the finer as a debugging alert system, and peppered his logs with "500 internal hey look at this." In fact, none of the 500s were even interesting; all but one was spam.
All day I've been tending to freakouts and accusations of me not doing anything. Ugh.8
Hello world! I'm new here. Discovered devRant randomly and I'm so happy I did 😊 Problem is, I can't seem to get any work done now that I'm reading rants all day long 🙃11
Fuck this fucking sql error for the past 2,5 fucking hours.
I'm so fucking done with this bullshit.22
WHEN DOCKER IMAGE NUMBER TWENTY-MOTHERFUCKING-TRILLION FAILS TO COMPILE /RENDER/WHAT-THE-FUCK-EVER THE GODDAMN DATA WITHOUT PROVIDING SUFFICIENT ERROR/HOWEVER-YOU-FUCKING-CALL-IT DEBUGGING INFORMATION.
I'M DONE. I. AM. SO. FUCKING. DONE.8
Oh dear, another Tuesday!
That means I'll probably get chewed out for something in front of the entire company. What for, you ask? The boss is inventive, so it could be anything.
Instead, I'm calling in sick and taking the day off. 😊14
Product Owner: "Our definition of done is putting it on production. So you are only done if it's on production. Otherwise our sprint goal is failed."
So we put it on production.
After deploy, some content manager appears: "Why is the system doing things? I was told this should not happen today."
"Erm, we have put the feature on production as we are only done if it's on production."
"Well, yes. But it should not be live yet!"
Oh well. Communication, or the lack thereof, does never fail to amaze me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯5
Me: Listen dude, the code worked perfectly and all the test cases passed so I'm done here.
Also me: What is this? What the fuck is this? Why does this work? What witchcraft is this?
after weeks of living on my own the inevitable occurred.
I forgot to eat.
it's so distracting to eat. When I'm focused on something I just want to get it done. but by the time I'm done it's way past eating time.13
So there is this thing @ the office that everyone has to bake 50 pancakes once.
Its 2 am, i just got done, i cant cook to save my life.
I'm nearly done importing almost half a million records to Shopify and they just formal email asking me to stop hitting their API so hard.3
Unexperienced digital immigrant: "Let's make a website, can you do this?"
"But you gotta use wordpress. We want to be able to change the content easily. Also we want to have that website done fast."
one day later
"Are you done yet?"
Me: "No, I got to find a good way for the lightbox I'm still implementing to fetch data from posts blabla"
"Why are you not done yet? Just take a plugin, even I can do that. Wordpress is so easy, it's just 1, 2, 3 and done."
Yeah I have an idea. Why don't you just make the website yourself.4
Requires windows 10 anniversary or later... So let use photo's that show it installing on vista...
Well done Adobe.9
I started reading the book "The clean coder" by Robert Martin and now I feel depressed.
So many of the things that he qualifies as unprofessional have I done :'(11
"no micro managing here!"
*Boss comes in at 5*
- how much work have you done?
- why isn't this finished yet?
- you're working too slow
- show me git status
- show me git log
- why is this taking you so long?15
I'm starting to fucking hate the word 'done'.
Boss: How's the spec coming along?
Manager: Oh, it's done.
Manager to me: Hey can you get it done?
Me: Why would you call it done? There's a days worth of work and it's only half done. Boss wasn't even rushing it yet.
Manager: Too late I've already committed it. I'm sure it's simple anyway. Just do it.
Manager: Hey is it done?
Noob dev: Yea it's done.
*Commits half assed incomplete sphagetti shit that breaks stuff*
Manager: Well done. Completed so quickly.
FUCK THIS SHIT.2
That awful realisation that your job could so easily be done remotely from your desk at home while wearing nothing but underpants and eating pop tarts.2
Business: We can't approve this code update in QA because we weren't aware of it.
Me: I was told you wanted it.
Business: We'll discuss it next week. Don't do anything on this till then.
Me: Alright. But you said so.
Business: Why isn't that updated in QA for us to test? You said you were done.
Me: I am done but you said no. (Sends email exchange)
We shall see what happens next.8
So we outsourced a system.
It was the most stupid thing we could've done.
It's my job to make it fucking work.5
I'm alone in the office today and already done a lot of work. How can I be so much more productive when nobody is around.10
IPod didn't sync well on my Linux machines so decided to give windows - in a highly isolated environment disconnected from the Internet behind a firewall and sandbox - a shot with itunes.
- during the installation it wouldn't detect the fucking harddrive multiple times (genuine unlicensed copy) and after the 4-5th time it's random-fuckingly recognized out of fucking nowhere; I didn't change shit.
- crashes (blue screen and freezes) multiple times during the installation, multiple retries and suddenly it works(?!)
- it took about 10 minutes (!!!!!!!) to install 10+ drivers for an iPod and an external hdd:
Installing Apple iPod drivers... Done
Installing seagate drivers... Done
Installing apple iPod drivers... Done
Installing seagate drivers... Done
Installing Apple iPod drivers... Done
Installing seagate drivers... Done
Installing Apple iPod drivers... Done
Installing seagate drivers... Done
Installing Apple iPod drivers... Done
WHY INSTALL THOSE FUCKERS 5 FUCKING TIMES?!
- iTunes installation fails multiple times without error code (unknown error occured, restoring to original state...),just said fuck it and clicked the shortcut after the ***th fail and it works just like this, THANKS FOR NOTIFYING ME (NOT)!
- iTunes has to restore the entire ipod, this was done with iTunes in the store I bought it already, thanks for nothing.
-restore takes 30+ minutes?!
-syncs the iPod 3 times afterwards.
*clicks close button*
*are you sure you want to quit? Sync in progress*
*oh shit, cancels*
*tries to import media library*
*seagate hdd suddenly not detected*
I'm fucking tired of this bullshit, windows and iTunes can go die in a fucking corner after getting ass raped while their genitals are being scraped off layer by fucking layer and dipped into fucking acid.18
I don't think I've EVER wanted to hit the insert key.
"You know what would be great?"
"If typing erased what you've already done so you can't actually edit anything"
"Sounds pretty great"9
I forgot to git fetch, so I spent quite a while doing exactly WHAT MY TEAMMATE HAD DONE JUST HOURS AGO3
How motherfucking difficult can it be to port forward something internally?!
I've been on this for fucking hours and I'm so fucking done with this shit.
I know I'm doing something wrong myself but I can't find a good resource 😠9
I want to actually complete a personal project for once. All the way. Done. So I can have a product.6
Ever had the feeling "My code is working fine but I know it's so messy and I should make it readable for others!"
-Never done anything13
Me, whenever i work with something other than java: "Wow, this could be done so much easier with java"17
My company went remote since the outbreak, surprisingly, more work was getting done, so we are completely remote.3
Most ignorant ask from pm:
“So what have we done in the app so far?”
When the requirement gathering hadn’t even been completed yet.1
Just when you are done working and want to relax so you start the pc, and this shows. Tableflip. 😒9
Today, during an update from senior management, I was casually sitting in the corner filling in my CV to get out of here lol.3
Debugging async multithreaded apps is so much fun that I have a pile of hair on my desk that's been pulled out in frustration.
Considering making a wig to wear after I'm done.
Being a good developer is knowing how to balance writing perfect code with getting shit done. Working lean means half your stuff in going to die anyway, so fighting for the corpse just wastes everybody's time5
Just started playing with Microsoft's Quantum Computing Kit and it's so amazing 😍!
Well done Microsoft!25
I just watched The Social Network and I'm so depressed that I'm through quarter of my life and haven't done anything significant yet.....😭😭6
Anyone work with other developers who take 3 times as long as you to do things, spend all day talking, get nothing done, so you have to pick up the slack? Fucking annoying.2
It's sad that such a primitive thing as a DDoS attack can bring down a huge chunk of the internet. Well done Dyn for being so unprepared.7
DigitalOcean's and Microsoft's Hacktoberfest done!
And my computer got so slow for some reason.
(Presses Ctrl + Shift + Esc)
I am now officially 23 years old.
So many hours of work invested
So many countless blood spilled
So much sweat made
So many years passed
So many projects worked on
Summed up in 0 successful projects
If someone were to ask me to showcase what I had done in 23 years of my life, I cannot show them something that no longer exists. The projects are dead. I cannot even prove my friends what I had done other than blindly say what I had done. But behind the scenes I worked so much and am completely demotivated by all of the pressure from failure. I have actually never felt so bad on my birthday. 2020 really is the worst year ever. I feel like a failure while life is just exponentially passing by.....25
A follow up from my previous rant about a dev colleague in the security company we work for consistently forgetting to lock his screen...he's done it again, so I made him a dickbutt loop this time6
I hate those movies/tv series in programmer just tap on some keys and says it's done. this makes programming/coding looks so easy.
FUCK YOU MAN ITS NOT EASYYYY4
i love programming, but have done too many 12 hour days recently.
spent last two days recharging by doing nothing but play the new Doom game.
i have a great job so my boss supports me.5
Annnnnnd I have done my hacktoberfest yayyyy.
So excited about stickers and T-shirt as a 6 years old is from a new toy.11
I found my friend's terminal on.
Did an experiment:-
while true; do
I was so sorry for his laptop.11
I have done it. I have fucking done it. I created code thats elegant and bug free.
I have done the impossible. Now i broke the universe.
But since this is a school project i cannot share the code. Im so sorry i want to but i cant. But once its presented to school and the other crap i will open-source it.8
When you don't want to explain what you've done with application's code base so you play the "algorithm" card.
Boss: tell me about the new release.
Me: updated the search algorithms boss.
Boss: cool. Release!
Friend - could you comment your code, so I can review it pls.
Me - *comments "gets shit done" ,
"Does some shit ",
"I really don't like commenting my code "4
it's amazing how much the mindset / mood you're in can influence your productivity. I had a minor spat with my teamlead earlier because I didn't get a lot done in the morning due to technical problems. That blocked me so much mentally that I hardly got anything done until I went home. I ate, calmed down, relaxed a bit and tackled my coding problem again. And within 45mins, I accomplished more than in most the workday.7
Started work: 9:30am
Finished work: 9:30pm
Finally finished my "basically done" ticket from two days ago, though I'm still not sure if it's behaving correctly. It deals with the Apple wallet and iPhone notifications, and all I have is an emulator, so. 😕 Things work as expected maybe half the time? and idfk why. I'm going to leave the actual testing to QA since they have actual iPhones and it'll run on staging on actual servers with actual connectivity and actual pushes, so maybe then things will actually make sense. Until then? So done.
Started drinking: 9:30pm
Finished drinking: TBD
<media lyrics="I don't know what the fuck just happened but I don't really care, imma get the fuck up outta here. Fuck this shit i'm out" />2
My team are so needy and incapable of figuring anything out independently that I've basically not got any of my sprint tasks done so far. So today I told them that I was working from home for a day to actually get done work done, but I'm on Slack if they really need me.
The only observable difference now is that instead of just bugging me, they start every conversation with, "sorry, I know you're busy, but..."3
So I just had to pick the lock on my own bike because I forgot the key... Well done dipshit, well done.10
Omfg, after webdeving for so long, I recently started to learn python and image manipulation.
I'm in love.
What have I done lol2
Me: "Of course it's technically possible. The problem here is that this would make the UX very confusing"
Project Manager: "So, when will it be done?"2
So...my first experience with Scrum. How many fucking energy and productivity draining meetings can you squeeze in to two weeks?!!!! Agile? Hahaha. Don't get me started! Leave me alone and let me get some work done!4
When I got my Raspberry Pi a couple of years ago, I had all these grandiose ideas of what I wanted to do with it. So far, all I've done is get it to flash my lights when my dryer's done.6
Well done windows a zero day bug that escalates privilege. Google was so pissed about it they released the info before Microsoft could fix it 😂8
So I wrote code to show the FUNCTIONALITY of my module , which has temporary variables and temporary code.
Boss after verifying : so it's done right ?
Me: no the code needs to be written .
Boss : but it's working...
Me : yeah , but this is a test environment , I need to put everything in place and test .
Boss : so it'll be done in 15 minutes right ?
Me : ...
Sometimes you just have to kick your wife and kids out on a beautiful day so you can get some work done.4
Doing tons of research and learning, trial and error to infinity and pushing through when I thought 'fuck this shit I'm so fucking done'!
When you're stuck on the same error for so long, you try so many different things and by the time you get it to work, it feels like you've made so much progress. But once you take a step back you realize you really haven't done much.4
hey buddy mate pal friend bro nacho
IF YOU FINISH A TASK NOT ASSIGNED TO YOU THEN FUCKING ASSIGN IT TO YOURSELF SO WE DONT WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO DO WHAT YOUVE ALREADY DONE6
When you and your superior get done with a project, and your superior almost gets fired so he's panicked and you're like "SEE WHAT I MEAN!!!!"
Previously:"Come on man!! 20 minutes adventure, in and out."
• Plan out everything by taking notes on the rough functionality of the project and how it could be done in a preferably simple way
• Writing code, but documentating it while doing so
• Also trying to write clean code so it can be more easily built upon
• Also keeping everything simple. If I'm using nasty, unreadable one-liners because of efficiency advantages, I'm putting a comment there for what could alternatively be used + explaining it
• Abandon it because side projects never get done1
Working on my senior project tonight I went from "oh my god I'm so far behind I'm never going to get this done in time" to "I can't wait to show my advisor tomorrow because I've gotten so much done"
My wife was done with exercises on her electronic 88 keys piano.
Me: I also know something nice.
Her: oh so?
Me: (repeatedly typing key #3)
Her: C hacking?!5
So my church has ask me to do their website (: kinda excited haven't done a project like this in a while9
I'm feeling so lonely at work. No one is interested in talking to me. They talk only when they need something done.
I've been and I did my best being nice to everyone ☹️22
I got my stickers nearly a week ago, didn't have the time to stick them and snap a picture of it, but now I've done it :)
Thank you so much @dfox for these, they're awesome ;)2
Me, starting this project: "im gonna use a templating engine so i can effectively generate files"
Me, now: "this could have been done by a string replace"
Now that I make decent money, I've started donating to non-profit tech foundations/companies. So far VideoLAN(the guys who make VLC) and WikiMedia done.
What else would you suggest? Thanks :)11
I like to paint miniatures. So I keep a small collection of what I've done sitting on my desk. I also keep drawing stuff beside me too in case I feel like doodling.6
Well done firefox for not implementing some stuff from ES6, because you decided to do so. Isn't the releases of EcmaScript considered to be standards? I'm a Firefox fan, but damn, Chrome is so much more advanced.7
Around 11:30pm I honestly thought I was about done, but a series of production issues has kept me up until 4:30am. Solving one revealed another, and so on.
Finally, all is quiet.
My strategy is really really dumb. I go outside and smoke... ive done this for so long that im now at the point that im terrified that if i stop smoking i wont get unstuck. pathetic isnt it?3
So.. You can't boot into recovery and wipe the partition? Like I have done multiple times on my macbook?26
Ever have those days where you come into work thinking "Yes! I'm going to get so much done today!" and then you sit down at your computer and state blankly at your screen for a few hours?4
Is it bad that I'm excited about going back to work from tomorrow?
Like, I haven't even done jackshit throughout the break, and so it won't be easy jumping back in with both feet.
You ever have these days where you're just bored out of your mind at work and can't get anything done so you start bothering others?
Well today... [read more]5
I'm surprised how much work I got done today. Was working in a cafe with my girlfriend. So productive.
Then I get home and think I'll continue the flow but here I am.....Just being a potato1
Manager : (During 2 weeks before final release) So the client asked if we could have this xyz functionality which we never have done before.
Me: But we already have so many issues to fix and only a week to do that
Manager: that's true.. So Complete them in 3 days ?1
Today I got more praise for adding a spinning animation while loading page than the 5 months of complex coding I've done so far.
Users are simple, look shiny, ignore that nothing works.2
my very first question on stackoverflow got downvoted.
im done with this place. i dont feel good also there... dunno4
It's so fucking hot today, just seriously fucking rediculous. Thinking of taking the laptop to code at the beer garden - will be the only way to get any productivity done.
I made a really cool animation for the login proccess. A spinning circle saying "authenticating" that would turn into a check mark after a successful login. All pretty, but the proccess is so fast the user wouldn't even see the animation. So I used setInterval so the animation always runs for 2 seconds after the ajax request is done.7
FINALLY FINISHED THE THING I WAS WORKING ON SINCE LAST MARCH!!! THIS HAS PISSED ME OFF SO MUCH!!! TEARS WERE SHED!!!FEELINGS HURT!!! BUT IT'S DONE!!! I AM NEVER TRANSLATING SOMETHING FROM C++ TO C# AGAIN!!!
What books do you guys recommend?
So far I read:
1. The Clean Architecture
2. Microservices Architecture (50% done, should be done in a week or two max)
I'm thinking of reading next:
Domain Driven Development
What do you think?13
I'm so happy to have quit my current job. Just a few weeks to go. To see my colleague take weeks for an task I would have done in a day or two, gives me enough satisfaction to stop carrying him in front of our boss. Just hearing him say "I haven't done this before" Yeah it's not like I told you over and over how it works for two years.8
Work: We're gonna add another project to you. Nice, so thats 3 now. Oh, and get 2 of them done by the end of this month please. Thanks.
Me: ha ha ha3
Me: I have so much to do! How the hell am I going to get all this done?!
**hears someone say something about some framework/library I don't know**
Me: hmmm let me google that real quick then I'll get back to work...
**3 hours later**
Me: damnit! I'm never going to get my work done!
When you're done a project for someone that took 3 weeks: so you ask them to pay, and they tell you they don't want it anymore. THE FUCK2
*meeting on Monday*
Client: so I've got this project I want you to do, it's simple right?
Me: seems so
Client: so I'll pay you this much because it's so simple
Underpaying client: I also told my higher ups that you'd be done by Friday you can do that yeah
Me: oh boy i have so much fun stuff planned for this weekend, better get my work done before it
My immune system: here have this flu with some pink eye on top2
Had Weekend free for my own...No Kid No wife...just plenty time...what did?...I brew beer 🍺😎👌...of course I didnt used any ready-to-go mixtures...all done from the basics. Feels so good11
dev goals? get shit done!
I have this common illness among devs:
I start projects and never really finish them.
Hate that. Feels so empty.
So this year I finally want to get shit done.4
Boss tells me to cleanup prod drives deleting anything older than a year.
So I find a script for that and run it after making sure works.
Told them it's done and freed up 20% but now they've gone silent.... 🤔🤔🤔🤔😥😥😥😥😥😟😟😟😟😟😟😟😟4
Yes. I have done it. Cobra MK III welcome to my hangar !
What a gorgeous ship.
So if you see cobra near eravate then that's me.
At last !!
All projects are done!
Done 3 compiler project (with 3 separate documentation)
And 6 different Algorithms for algorithm design and analysis.(including my own project)
Been coding so hard to finish them ontime and now I made it :)1
Oh, how my colleagues think I have psychic powers and am able to discern what is the problem they face just by being notified of its existence.5
When internet is not working:
Oh my so much I could have done!
When it starts working:
What was I supposed to do
I want to light this project on fire and walk away. Nothing is making any bloody sense.
According to specs, It’s updating a google wallet object via api, but isn’t generating the data to send along, despite every possible code path hitting that first. It also apparently isn’t calling any of the methods along the way. Obviously this is false, but that’s what the specs are reporting.
It’s also updating the object when nothing has changed. That might be, but shouldn’t, because I can see it calling the `should_update?` method which returns false, and it nopes out after that. so wth.
I’m so ready to never see this craziness ever again.
wtb kerosene or Greek fire pot, good price, pst. open to trade5
Started learning ASP.NET core. It's an amazing experience so far.
PS : I feel like I could not have done this without visual studio.1
Me : There is a hotfix needs to be done.
Boss : So what ?
Me : Its assigned to you from last 2 weeks and deadlines are near.
Boss: (speaking politely) oh.. is it? Can you take a look ?
Me : ..
Out of all the days,
My laptop is lagging today, when I need to things to be done.
Fuck. Fuck. Fuck.
PS. It's so slow, that I ended up searching a meme too.2
So, I'm 100% sure that in a year I'll look back at today and ask why I thought it was a good idea to implement a feature this way.
Looks good to me today, that's all I know. I'm done ✅
PM: "Did you ever push changes for this one feature?" Me: "No. I haven't had time to even look at it. Everyone wants me to do stuff before my last day." PM: "okay so is it done yet or not?". If i haven't looked at it, if it's not pushed, HOW THE HELL WOULD IT BE DONE?!2
customer to one of my colleagues, after he is nearly done implementing his cookie banner: "So, what do I actually need this thing for?" - Eh, you never wondered this earlier? o.O
##Design to front-end conversion
Me - Send me the designs so i can start working it
Graphic Designer - Done ( Sends PSD files )
Me - Send me them separately, element by element, with transparency, color codes and flattened designs not PSD's
GD - Done
Me - Opens email to see elements that should be transparent saved as jpg's
Me - Opens PSD's, crop and save elements.
Meanwhile explains next time do this and that so it'll be easier.
Usually this happens few times a month6
When your manager asks for, but ignores, your feedback on new developers after interviews, because "we need to hire so the project is done in 6 months"...
The marketing dept comes to me and ask for an important project to be done ASAP. Builds pressure on my PM to get it done fast. After I complete it, I ask them to complete UAT to make sure it is what they wanted so we can go live. They seem to not have enough time to test it. After one month the whole dept gets divested! Is this common or I am unlucky? They never used that very important app ever!!😢😠2
So I'm working on a Gnome shell extension. Which is a nice integration wtih Todoist. It's far from done but it's starting to shape up.
From all projects and things I've done, this is a pain. There is almost no documentation so I'm almost entirely reliant on source codes of other extensions.
And yeah, stackoverflow isn't going to help you...
Fun project nevertheless :) Reminds me of the time I worked in WINAPI.9
I'm so fucking done today.
The VB project I ranted about earlier was apparently just the top of the iceberg of madness that is my workplace.
So the same ninjacoder who managed to code himself as a dependency in the VB project apparently had his greasy little fingers in a bunch of other projects around here.
A script for automating new workstation installs that went haywire last week had traces from this Omnipotent mastermind all over it. He got us this time with static urls and zero errorhandling.
Well played sir.
Getting so done with undocumented projects that I have to dig through several hours just to find and fix.1
What is debugging an application?
Sticking in it for hours, for fixing the error. Finally when it is done, you find it is already there in SO :/.
Design is done by the ios guy. Its really good, but its very ios specific. The biggest pain is to implement blur everywhere. Also he does it directly in in xcode, so when i finally get it hes already done and android is always lagging behind. Management is aware of this and is ok with android lagging behind, but its annoying.2
I'm sorry, but I'm so fucking done with Hinglish.
I wish tutorials that merge the two have an indication of it in their titles.3
[serious] I'm a Windows guy. Been so my whole life. devRant community, I'd like to start playing around with Linux. As someone who has never done that before, where should I start? We're talking total noob. Thanks in advance.8
When your favorite DJ comes to town but you cannot enjoy him playing live just because you don't have a girl to go with it.
I am done for 2016 already. This is so depressing. Guy J in town.19
One last feature and I’ll be done with a project holy fuck. I’m so fucking close just one more class and it’s done and I can move on to something I like a little more.2
I'm so done with these big boring technical programming books. So painful to read... I'll just watch some quick tuts and maybe, just Google what I need to know.2
So frustrated. Do people use it to get things not done? Or do they use it to annoy others?23
1 unlimited money
2 magic bug fixer elf
3 realized there were no point for me to do anything any more so wish to undo the first two.2
Wasted 2 hours of my life trying to make an actionbar display white text on a dark background after migrating the legacy code from ActionBarSherlock to the supportactionbar.
And guess what? That fucking actionbar still displays black text.
What. The. Fuck.
Giving up on this for today...2
Have a big legacy project which should be updated to current technologies,
but when it's done, these current technologies are outdated already, so you
Have a big legacy project which should be updated to current technologies,
When you feel like you are getting so much stuff done, that you don't want to stop!!!
Need to get some sleep though!
Arg! Stack overflow why are you so full of argumentative dumb wits. I post serious question for a serious answer and what do I get? People who apparently know my situation better than me and have decided what I want to be done shouldn't be done. They don't even know what I am making. Either answer the question or move on!!!5
A dev's worst nightmare can be summed up as this:
"Working on updates
Don't turn off your computer"
So much for getting some work done tonight.....5
How do you deal with choice paralysis?
Like I should do X but rather do Y
But I don't feel like doing Y now either so should do Z
But that's no fun/productive...ah wtf let's just do A,B, C after I take a nice long nap...
And then after the weekend, nothing I should've done got done...17
Have you ever worked in a team that actually did everything right?
I have never seen anyone talk about a team in which things got done.
I'm a solo coder, so, don't really know either way. Sounds like mostly, teams are a mess b/c they aren't done right for the most part?
I dont know actually, but seems that way.10
I'm relatively new to the whole development and stuff, so I have no idea how usual process goes.
So when my project moved onto closed beta, I thought I could rest a bit.
Apparently half the shit I've done sucks so much and I need to debug the shit out of it.
Bless the testers.3
so a client yesterday decides they need a site built by eop Friday, that has been quoted today. if approved first thing tomorrow gives about 1.5 days to get it done. Thanks boss
So 10 phonecalls en 6 emails later i’m pretty much done with jobhunting for today i think. Omg, what an insane day this was!6
when the project manager asks you if you have an ETA on the project you're trying to finish because deadline is a few hours. You have never done the thing you're trying to complete before so you have no baseline for it and they know that.... nope but you'll be the 2nd person to know when it's done, maybe next time don't promise deadlines without consulting the devs?1
I finally switched from eclipse to netbeans! *hurray*
But it was not easy...
Netbeans didnt want to import first, so i coded myself a little program that prints a complete config file for my project...
So that was done.
But the colors... So ugly.
So i changed them to my eclipse colors.
Finally, after 3 hours of configuration and getting to know how exporting works, I AM DONE!
I'm so used to phones that when I stretched with my 3DS in my hand I was fully prepped for the screens to auto-rotate.
what have you done to me4
Ok so I bought a new phone yesterday and my entire day today has been massive failure and loss.
I have to get various things done but fuck!!!
Been thinking about writing my own Linux os. Never done anything like it, so I expect a lot of troubles and general pain. But it's only for personal use, so why not?3
That one moment you create something so magical that you never even intended to write and don't even realise what you have done until after it is done 😮1
So, against like 90% of all odds, we (I) managed to submit the application to Apple for review at the ripe old time of 21.27 last night.
Events of the day included:
- fighting with appstoreconnect (turns out they just return a 500 if you haven't paid your Apple developer membership)
- removing FAQs altogether because "it would have taken too long to make those today" (ticket in Jira for this for ~4 months)
- our app was targeting both iPad and iPhone, so we had to rebuild the app for iPhone only because "we don't have app store images for iPad".
On the bright side, that leaves 3 days next week to get the rest of the backend finished for actual go live on Monday 16th, so long as Apple don't reject the app.
Side note: adding the target-device preference affected the android build somehow? despite the preference being iOS only, and wrapped in a platform="iOS" section.
So, I've been asked to build a tool that scrape's one's Facebook friends and their friends. I (surprisingly) managed to get it done.
I don't know what to feel about this.3
when a client say and i quote "this site is perfect just download it and add my content,i mean half the works done so i can get ot cheaper right...."
#tells client im busy.2
When you're done with your side of a project but you're waiting on other people.... Then you're the one that still gets bitched at by Mr. CEO man. Piss off, I've done my part. No I can't just upload it the way it is, no I won't upload it the way it is. Go tell the other spit fucks to get me their shit so I can finish the project.2
My worst meeting?
The one that announced I was ending my 1 year internship after 4 months to return to college. There was still so much that still needed to be done to that website. :(
So I got everything done that I'm supposed to this month. Now usually I would try to get ahead of the rush. However, since now even upper management doesn't trust me to do my job I figure I will adopt the same development process as the rest of the group: do nothing for the first three weeks of the month and in the last week hastily make excuses for why nothing is done while doing just enough to justify my continued employment.
quote: companies would never be paying you enough, they would pay you the bare minimum to get the work done, so learn to negotiate until you have good options.
I would need some help by web devs with my website. This is what i’ve done so far. Take note, i’m not a web developer.
What can i improve?
5am zzzZzZz, first day in 3 weeks summer holiday, wife is snoring so why not get up and get some coding done :-)4
Getting lots done on my first real Java application :D
Feels so good to actually understand the whole of something.
The hardest thing I've done in the last few years, was leaving microsofts fucking insider program for windows, so hard to fucking get out. Fuck you microsoft.
Something that really grinds my gears recently is ”black boxes”. I get a dll to work with, completly without documentation and any desceiptions. An hour later people asks me, ”so hows it going, done yet?”.
No, im not done yet and I probably wont be in any near future you fucking morons, start documenting your fucking software as normal human beings.2
Well I figured out why my delete button wasn't working...
I'm so burnt out and ready for school and this capstone project to be done.1
"We need to implement this feature but I want it done right, for now though let's just throw it together so we can ship it."
Life is so much more fun when electricity is cut off and you still need to get day's worth of work done from home5
RSA is the best. It's so secure it even keeps me out of my laptop most work days!
Fml how am I supposed to get any work done like this....1
I was typing a rant about this deadlines of a legacy project I have to work on but I'm just too tired/stressed/angry todo so... Maybe in a week or two when the fucker is finally done...1
I still have no internet at my new home. The technician will be here in 5 weeks. So I spend my time in the old flat sitting on the floor to get work done.2
Anyone else hate the phrase "as soon as possible" with a passion from the mouth of a client? I feel like saying it'll be f*cking done when it's done. Yes you're important but so is everyone else. Be patient, you only asked me to do it 3 hours ago. Just because of that, you've now gone to the back of the queue.4
Once I was using rsync to copy some large files from a cloud to my local machine. So right after I started it, I went out for some coffee and when I came back it was not done. And to my horror I forgot to use --progress. For people who don't know what it does is , it only shows you how much copying is done. So now after about 45 mins of copying done , I had to stop it start all over again with --progress so that I can see the progress as it completed. 🤔2
So after 3 months of working ( which implies a 2h trip from home to get to the office ), going to college ( another 1h from home to get there ) and making a thesis to get a fucking Bachelor degree. I'm kind of done with everything except the job. I mean, I can't focus seriously in anything besides coding. So my question for you guys is, How do you get the important stuff done even if you don't wanna do it ?
ES2016 looks so much like Java, I swear nobody will notice if they added pointers... and over 9000 more confusing features.12
I'm not even done with this code and I am already dreading maintaining it. There is so much magic.1
I'm so done. Developers that force saving data on my C drive you are RUINING MY LIFE AHHHHHHHHHH
you just made the list5
Trying to gut a Power Mac G5 is the most frustrating thing I have ever done in my entire life. There are screws so deep and in such small holes that even Ant Man couldn't get in there
TIL: If you want to use SodaStream the you better RTFM... Fuck, there is water everywhere and I really don't have the time to clean up the mess because there is so much work to be done today...6
what have I done to deserve this? 😫
the connection is so shitty I can't even rant about it properly... 😵2
After github next potential targets are jetbrains and slack so they are done with all competition for next 2-5 years. We can’t beat them but we can always buy them.2
Just spent hours trying find why my game was so janky looking in movement only to realise I dropped the max frame rate to 30 instead of its max 240... Well done Alex!2
Awesome devrant podcasts.
Seriously, if you enjoy devrant you will be really impressed with the two they have done so far.
Surprised at the five star guests they have gotten so far.
Just need to net Uncle Bob.
Hey, first time poster :-)
Working alone on a C++ app that has to control a GUI, camera and electronics on the side... but between the test cases, switching between classes and helping colleagues on unrelated issues, I find it hard to keep track of what connects with what, what needs to be done, what IS done...
So, how do you guys and girls keep track of your projects ? Stuck with To-do lists for now ^^6
When the hardest question on you computer systems test is : draw a house in paint and paint it using only the brush :/.
So so happy i am done with this subject after this semester.3
I love coding on vacation. We sometimes take long flights like 5hrs an then another 5 hrs. I get so much done in flight without the distraction of phone calls or the internet (YouTube).
That feeling when you know there’s work to be done, and a deadline to do it by... yet you can’t muster the motivation and you’d rather just play video games.
I suppose at least with contracting from home I have the option of taking a break like this so long as the work gets done on time. I mean, if I was in an office I’d just be dicking about online.
Doing a MEAN stack application which I'm hugely confident will be my most successful. It's 95% done, finding that last bit of time needed to finish extremely challenging, but will be so excited to show it off to you all!2
!Rant (but for those few who keep on giving me upvotes)
First workout done today. How did it go? Really well. In fact, it went so well that I couldn't open the repurposed fire door (thick, heavy metal).
HOW THE FUCK IS THIS LEGAL?! This isn't even their fucking research! So much of this was either done decades before they existed, or done by others. In the first place, since when can you patent fucking math?! Sure we haven't seen the full patents but they should focus on specific implementations if anything and the titles clearly do not reflect that.
So much for "don't be evil", fuck Google
Soo today (Sunday) I received a Email from my boss. He wants me to do a fucking huge project done by next Friday.
This "so amazing new idea" exists for like 5 years already. So I said I'd be done this Tuesday. Him not knowing I'll be copy&pasting this all the way 😂😂.
Not that I'm lazy, but just that why should I recreate something that exists for years now.5
What's the longest code review meeting you've ever had? We're about 3 hours into this code review so far, and it doesn't sound like we're going to be done anytime soon3
"Coding and testing of the iOS app will be done tomorrow. Then we need to sign and publish it + pass review so it might be live this time next year"1
We had a meeting where all the devs on a large sprint team were told they must attend late that evening. The gist of that meeting was 'well done your all working hard and done some good work but we have over committed so work harder!" but they took an hour and a half to make the point.
The most important thing my mentor taught me was “ in an audit if the auditor asks ‘do you have the time?’ And you do simply respond ‘yes’” it done me well so far!2
When I build a large project, I open devRant, Imgur or youtube while I wait, but get so caught up that I don't realize when the build is done and spend way to long surfing when I should be working
FFS, I'm so fucking done. I spend half an hour helping somebody finding an error on start up only to accidentally solve it by telling him to insert some print statements.
i3wm, use with vim and terminal stuff = barely touch mouse xD
(I'm so obsessed with i3 that I try to re-create it in Windows : https://github.com/CSaratakij/...)
(still not full featured, but get the job done xD)6
*my interview/talk getting into vocational school into programming field 2 years ago*
"So what have you done?"
"I've done web"
"Html & css?"
"Html without css"
*I got in*1
I spend fucking weeks planing how to crawl the reddit api as concurrent as possible, only to realiye that there is a ratelimit of 300 request per 600 seconds
FUCK, SHIT GODVERDOMME, VAFFANCULO, EAT SHIT, PENETRATE ME WITH A SWORDFISH, FMFL6
I now leave my work IM status as "Away". It's the only way people leave me alone so I can get work done...*shrug* ☺1
Every body has that moment when they code their first ever project and feel like flying on top of the world..
just remembering that moment when i had done my first ever app and i was like wooow i made this work.
so sharing my first ever project
i would love to see all the others had done as their first project feel free to post your's one2
So the company I work for assigned me to a new clients project and has already proven to be a pain.
I checked all my emails late Sunday evening and replied to them (saves me the time in the morning) so I emailed this new client who was enquiring when a part of his website was to be done.
Me: I fully expect this portion of the functionally to be done by the tail of the week.
Client first thing this morning: why isn’t anything working you said it would be done.
Why is it always so exhausting to communucate with clients?
It's been 11 fkin days since I started working on one really simple project, but it's still not done because client can't respond within 1 day...1
Hello friends 😊
I just need to get this of my chest
But at my school we currently have this project where we need to create a webapp eventually which is nice. BUT first we NEED to spend a whole semester documenting stuff! I mean some things are necessary I know that! But a whole semester ffs I'm studying to be programmer so I WANT TO CODE STUFF
Why is my school like this 😩16
Running on energy drinks and coffee from one emergency to the other finding solutions to problems noone thought of.
Weekend really can't come fast enough.
So I can get work done.....
Complaints about how FE rendering is so slow when BE apis take forever to return. Working on performance projects and feel like you've done nothing at all at the end of each day.2
During the past week, I've lost so much focus. It's difficult to keep pushing myself to care about stuff at work. I try to get some minimal tickets done and a wiki page out, but it's wearing on me.1
NOOOO! I am such an idiot! I was done working on an scenario based user story to train employees. So I was done testing and wanted to delete the records in the score table. Instead I AM FCKING DELETING RECORDS IN AN OTHER TABLE!! I AM A FCKING IDIOT! I don't even know how it happened. I can almost cry. So, now I'm taking a shit because that will fix my problem.1
Freeze time with the computer I am sat on.
So when somebody says something can be done in an hour, they're usually correct
So I finally got my hands on github!
I've got my first repo called "PrimalHunter" and the module is already done. Now, how does one make a welcome page for a repo3
When all of the dev cycle process crap is done. So maybe 2-3 hours per week, not including the "underwear programming" on the weekends.
So "design" keeps sending me unfinished and unpolished mockups, I end up erasing what I got already done, and start over; Fun times yay.2
One of the best things I've done to date was change my desktop and phone's fonts to roboto condensed, it looks so nice.6
Some days I look back at the work I had done that day and think to myself, "what the fuck took me so long?".1
I just want to give a quick shout-out to the advertisers who were so quick to monetize a pandemic and pull on the heart strings for some PR value.
Well done, lads.2
Guy was on leave for 3 weeks and today came and say what you have done in 3 weeks.
I said project set up was not done on my system.
He said so what? what you have done8
When you've not done anything with react-router for a while and the latest version is so very very different 😫4
Did some webdesign, not sure yet of how I want to continue, navbar is done & responsive, so that's something. The hero banner looks kinda empty though... What do you folks think of it ?6
I want to relearn Java. I've done anything in Java the past 3 years.
I feel so lost, I can understand a java code, I just can't start a new one.3
Never done freelance but for those ranting this week this talk is a must watch "Fuck you, pay me":
It's also entertaining regardless. So everyone else should watch it too!
So I finally got full computer access 2 and a half weeks into working, and now there's "scheduled network downtime" with no indication of when it will be back up. I swear I'm never going to get anything done here
I've been thinking of completing my home automation side project.
But so far, all I've done is write code :(2
Dear people who rant about it her people's rants and claim a part of you dies. Stfu and get over it.
Now look at what you've done. You've got me ranting about you ranting about other people's rants. So meta
Starting a new site in work and the Content Team ( no dev or design knowledge) suggest one thing i advise it shouldn’t be done and this is best path... later during day right so we are going with our idea! 😩
It is Saturday 19:30 and I am spending my time writing functions for save/load data in a binary tree. Recursion and fscanf are not a good combo so far, but that is the task. When the code is done I have to get some math done.
I'm so sick been asked how long can the system be done. What's the best answer for this please? sick!4
Enterprise Architect after morning requirements session: "Well that is actually more simple than I thought. I don't think we'll need the full four days we have scheduled for this. What do you think."
Me: "Yeah, I don't think it will take four days."
*** Hours later right before end of day***
EA: "So how's it going?"
Me: "Pretty good... [details]..."
EA: "So are we still on track to be done by end of day tomorrow?"
Me: "Wait, what?"
EA: "You agreed it would be done in two days, remember?"
Me: "No, I don't remember that."
EA: "Yeah I asked if it could be done in two days and you said yes. Anyway, I'm heading out, just make sure it's done by end of day tomorrow."1
Rough start to the morning. Working with a partner in a Power BI scenario. He uses forums, over research, to find how to map IP to latitude/longitude. Naturally our mangager wants this done as short as possible so I stay back a few hours and get it done.
Show him this morning all the effort I put in to get it to work... He denies it's good enough and proceeds to tell me 'his way' of getting a forum 'genius' is easier and will work better, and refuses to hand in what we have done... Help 😰
What are some interesting open source projects to contribute to? I wanna start to do some contributions to popular OS projects but I've never done that before so... Any recommendations?3
A majority of the bosses/PMs/supervisors tend to be soo stupid and lack the knowledge of the actual problem's complexity so they expect you to hit keys and voila, project done.. It gets on my nerves big time.
Of course Yahoo have the worst documented API. Half of the responses either don't exist or are wrong.
I'm so done!
Have you guys ever done a musical planning poker? It's like you put music so high and don't plan anything at all!! Seriously??2
A project on hive....
Well the server has some error....
So i need to install hive on windows....
For that i need hadoop on windows...
For that i need either vmware or cygwin...
What was my project again??
What am I doing today? Waiting.
"Build Status: Running for 18.3 minutes."
I've done this three times so far today.1
Today was too hot to focus and get something done. So we watched Conjuring movie and we will better code some stuff from home.
Hi devs,so I'm looking for suggestions on projects to work on,I've got alot of time as I am done with school and since there's strikes at university I'm only going there in March.
We are supposed to make a portfolio in school explaining who we are and projects that we made. The only problem is that I have not done shit, the only thing that I've done that was only for the most part ripped from a tutorial (everything else might as well been copy pasted) was a calculator that barely works and looks like shit. So I just sat down for hours got nothing done and felt awful.
So I finished a side project at a cost of my company time. Now I'm panicking to get shit done before I get fired but also glad that I finally made something in 2018. THIS FEELING IS SO CONFLICTING!!!
So 40 extra hours after a normal workweek but this application is almost done. Can't see straight anymore though.
So... In the mood for a new lang...
Mainly Java developer but have done Scala, Python lately and a bunch in the past (C, PHP, little js, HTML5).
Thinking of .Net or node js ATM...
I'd welcome any ideas :)3
I went home because I wasn't feeling well. Checked DevRant and apparently it was a good thing because I would have gotten nothing done without SO
When someone edits old liquibase files so the db doesn't get updated and everything needs to be done by hand.
What's the point of liquibase then
Is it just me or is devrant a little bit slow to load rants. If so why is that? What should be done to make it better?6
So im finally done with education and can call my self an computer scientist.. but are you really ever done getting educated in this line of work?1
I hate been asked when roughly when can it be done. So after a while I usually gave extra a week for me to surf YouTube.
Today, I installed Android studio on my macAir with virtual emulator without any Gradle failed things. Had so many problems when i did it on my windows and linux laptop :/. Today i just clicked next next and done :/. Mac is ❤
What tools do you use to manage how much time you needed to get stuff done?
Any tool where I can stop time and also add things like had a meeting for 1h and so on.2
I am so close to done on my first solo app I've worked on for 6 months that could beat down similar corporate apps. Friends and family are proud, but don't really know what I mean. Just happy.
Apparently I'm to try and fix bugs that are 1-2 years old. Some of which have had work done on them before, so may be in a different state. No reproduction scenarios either.
What the actual fuck?
Angular gets shit done. So we basically bake cookies in their angular-cli? Its fuarking great! I choose the RED pill!2
I'm SO FUCKING PROUD of whoever put this here. It's besn forever since anyone's even mentioned memes as a concept in my high school, much less done/written something for the meme.1
anyone else having a project and getting behind schedule and working overtime and still not getting it done?
no? it's okay, i know it's only me so dumb :(6
Picked up the latest version of Test Driven Development work Python. Haven't done much test driven development so time to change that .
I have an old webcomic I made when I was but a child, and I've been wanting to redo it. How would you store the images so they are easy to fetch and can be done on a budget?6
New crm system is a gem. Teaching people to use it is just so easy. Fixing and finding all the problems though... glad for the automations being done by colleuge 👍
A module for molecules, which take an OPEN API definition and creates a restful API and graph definitions.
