4 years ago I was placed on probation for not having the special format in source control check in comments. When I asked, the 'special format' was

I know it’s a rookie mistake a lot of people make, but it was some pretty core data that ended up being used all over the place, so it was a nightmare to correct and it really impacted performance.

Needless to say they felt very silly when we explained how LINQ was deferred.

Php not loading oci8 connector for oracle database in windows server, got the all famous and feated oci_connect unknown function error.

Solution:
Check to make sure that the stupid dll is in the extensions folder ---> check

I am using Permiso for runtime permissions in Marshmallow and up. So I spent hours finding a way to check if a user has selected "never ask again" while denying permission. And at last found it.

so when someone in the office finds a funny design or absurd code on our sites we play a game we named roulette: we check the versioning system and find who did it... there is no price in this game, that shame is enough :)

Copy a typdef-d function pointer.
It works.
Check it's syntax.

Startup idea #318 - App that runs in the background while coding.. if a file has more than 150 lines prevent the user from typing more in it!

Oh and also check if the code has tabs/spaces and limit them accordingly. If user uses both prevent them from typing in it!

Solving merge conflict on version control takes too much time, so let's allow only guy to check-in and everyone else work offline keeping several old style working copy with (hell) numbers of backup. Once done everyone sends files to check-in guy.

Our Entreprise CMS at work (obviously):
- inconsistent UI : check (misplaced buttons, some pages are more developed than others)
- slow: check (average 6 seconds of waiting, with cache)
- loading screen as page transitions covering the whole page, making it impossible to click somewhere else if mistaken, adding +3 seconds to loading : check
- time-based session, inlined in HTML and wildly disconnects you, making you lose all changes : check
- sometimes objects are inaccessible and can't do anything about it : check
- "delete" button next to "edit", delete is bigger and I have already clicked the delete button by accident : check
- can't have local development environment, need to work with integrated editor which has no helping features: check
- first TTFB: adds +2-6 seconds to loading time

TL;DR : a pleasant, developer-friendly, frustration- and rantless CMS to work with, reliable and fast.

Devrant bug: If the screen size is changed (by resizing app in multi-view) content disappear.

Apps should be able to cope with screen size changes during runtime - check android documentation, especially for Nougat.
