I FUCKING HATE how I always have to prove my abilities twice to everyone just because I sit in a wheelchair!!!
I mean if the people on the street treat me like a child it's hard enough... they might just be afraid of the unknown or simply stupid... but at the office?
You know what I do for a living... What on earth would make you think you have to treat me as if I have some kind of cognitive disability as well?
I am going to roll/drive over the next guy who does something like that!!!
Sorry for the non dev rant but this had to get out48 -

Also this is my first post :)29 -

Step 1: Create and deploy feature. Get feedback: It works fine!
A year passes...
Step 2: Add another small feature that is completely independent from previous feature.
Step 3: Notice that feature #1 is broken.
Why the HELL did it stop working?!? I didn't change anything related to that feature. I can't explain that!
Step 4: Examine bug and find out something unknown about the technology used in feature #1.
Why the HELL did that ever work in the first place?!?
Step 5: Get time to fix it. Don't get time to find out why it worked for a year...
The problem is solved, the mystery remains...5 -

A recruiter reached out to me via email and a voicemail. I politely declined and asked not to be contacted anymore. Somehow the asshole ends up in my office and comes up and introduces himself while he is with one of my superiors. He said we "spoke on the phone" (a lie) and he wanted to meet me. Creeped me out beyond belief, regardless for his true purpose of being there (which is still unknown to me).7

I thought this launch (security/privacy blog) would go smooth:
- analytics fell, except for one thing, apart for yet unknown reasons
- MySQL came with a very weird error which took me like half an hour of research before I hacked my way past it.
- the firewall started to fuck around for no reason, works now though.
Nginx worked without issues though, as well as NetData 😅
Yeah, didn't go as planned :P10 -

Year 2200, somewhere unknown. A robot drone flies above a now destroyed city. As it slowly descends down, it finds it's way into a building. In the rubble, a monitor is still flashing. The drone moves toward the monitor. After few minutes of analysis, drone releases a connector from it's belly. It connects to CPU nearby. After scanning the system for another few minutes, it's apparent the system was not the new OS which the Government released and Mandated. Rather, a prehistoric OS which legends spoke in hushed tones. An OS so powerful, which controlled then millions of computers.
Like the story so far? Should I continue?11 -

Don't do "git pull" quickly. Always do a "git fetch" THEN "git log HEAD..origin" OR "git log -p HEAD..origin". It is like previewing first what you will "git pull".
OR something like (example):
- git fetch
- git diff origin/master
- git pull --rebase origin master
Sometimes it is a trap, you will pull other unknown or unwanted files that will cause some errors after quickly doing a git pull when working in a team. Better safe than sorry.
Other tips and tricks related are welcome 😀

Fuck those clients which are surprised when they get an invoice when they ask you to do something for them.
I think it's as simple as:
- you know my hourly rate
- you ask me to do some work for you
- I give you an estimation
- you agree with the estimation
- I get the job done and show it to you
- you accept the edits/solutions
- I send you an invoice with less hours than estimated
- you agree with the invoice and pay
It seems that every step is going well, except the last one...
Well... fuck you too.13 -

I've installed Ubuntu for her something like 2 years ago, because her Windows installation was fucked up. After that 2 years she aksed me to install her new computer and copy the personal documents from her old computer.
So I backed up all her personal stuff like photo's and so on and asked her if she would like me to install Ubuntu again. Then she said that she would love to get Ubuntu again, because it was much cleaner and easier than Windows 😁.
So, from now on, my mom is using Ubuntu instead of Windows. That makes me really proud of her.3 -

I managed to take down an entire school network with one VPN.
In short, I ran a personal VPN and eventually the System Administrators at my old school managed to pick it up as unknown traffic. For some reason, they managed to block the port but not the IP so I changed the port to 443 and their automatic system blocked port 443 on their entire network essentially rendering HTTPS useless for a few hours.
I never got approached about it but my school invested in a new IT team.4 -

I just blocked some of the top management from connecting to our WLAN because I was testing a verifing feature for said WiFi that kicks all devices not listed in the DB.

Context: Eclipse vs intelliJ
Situation: Was too comfortable with eclipse. knew shortcuts in the back of my palm. Loved the light theme. Argued with anyone who blindly believed IntelliJ is better than eclipse.
Action: Forced myself to try IntelliJ. Stepped out of my comfort zone. Got a one day code block. Changed to darcula. My eyes struggled to read. My fingers typed usual eclipse shortcuts to discover unknown windows.
Verdict: after two days of learning and not giving up. I have started loving IntelliJ and I know why.
Moral: change is good. Get out of your comfort zone ;)15 -

I'm developing an OS. I tried running it on the laptop that's on the ground. Everything works fine except text mode. There is no output when running it in text mode(not the high resolution one shown on image). Since the OS sends all data that is printed to the first serial port I might as well read the output from the serial ports. Since the laptop I use for development doesn't have any serial ports I had to use the older Windows 98 PC. For unknown reasons I could not get any output from the serial ports so I gave up.

Tried to uninstall it, the drivers was also uninstalled. :O Had to install it again and do some googling and finally found some pure drivers. Uninstalled the f*** Killer software again, and then installed the pure drivers. It works :)
Then I tried the speakers ... :@

So, I got a new job opportunity at another company, one thing we agreed is that I would need one month to give the notice, and leave the project I was working on with the company I currently work on. Today, after 25 days, they said "the project is not available anymore, we can't hire you", I already give the current company the notice. Making all the wishes possible to keep the current project I work on.
This is life telling me, don't change from what you know to the unknown, even with good positive reviews8 -
Everyone and their dog says to me, "Try Linux!"
So..
I'm now going to give it a really good try, since I got myself some Raspberry Pi's to play with.
So, lets see, just download this file, stick it on an SD card and boot with it..
Mmm..
It gets so far and then stops with an error..

I got a call from a recruiter yesterday. The employer wants to get me in for an interview. It's for a fairly big company and I'm beginning to feel really nervous. I hate the place I'm at and I need this job. Not just for money but also to retain my sanity.
The interview is with a development manager, I wonder what kind of questions he/she will ask. Ahhhh how do I prepare for the unknown? 😱10 -
Cool to see how we as developers try to create nice things to make the world a bit better while there are others on the other side trying to make enough money for themselves and will let the world burn if needed and try to destroy things.
It's kinda interesting, isn't it?3 -
So it seems rc builds arent bleeding edge enough. Well how about linux-next now ?
Ouuuuuuu yeah. 4.20 is kind of broken for me and i hope that 5.0 will fix it.
Using linux for over 5 years now and i didnt even know what linux-next is and it was unknown to me . Sure i heard about it but now im doing with it something. Exciting as fuck. All the totally latest fucking stuff.2 -
I envy all those developers with clean codebases and consistent coding standards and nice architecture.
I'm fixing bugs and optimize code in someone else written project. which looks like spaghetti. with naming conventions like "a", "bbb", "zA" comments written in unknown language and off course the deadline was yesterday.4 -

i hate when things have names that are TOO simple
let's say, frogleg (random idk). ok kool, so you named your editor, server, tool, wtf ever: frogleg. now i go to search for it. i get food suggestions, pictures of disected frogs, a whole bunch of stupid shit
or "jump" wow - jump? what a specific name for something. i can't just search _for_that_
it's too common of a problem (and ppl don't even make easily grep-able code either but that's an even bigger issue)
if you want to name something snazzy simple, at least throw some 1337 in there so it's distinguishable.
froglegz, j0mp, j_mp, juhmp, jmper, idfk be creative. make it different.
don't just use a standard word from a spoken/written language. unless you want it to be unknown and hard to find7 -
New experience.
Went to bank at an unknown location all alone for first time and completed tons of pending work with the bank. In all, was worth 4 hours of struggling.
Being a Dev, I really feel bad how much the employee struggle to cope up with banking softwares and consider it as a gigantic task which for us is like the easiest task. Using mostly clicks and number pads and rarely any software updates.
I wonder why there isn't a proper training provided that would make them realise how simple it is to use banking proprietary softwares.
Or are we lagging behind to provide even better UX to banking employees. -
For all my ranting about Electron, does anyone have any experience with NeutralinoJs, an ultralight equivalent to Electron, weighting in at 5mb?
I'm surprised the last commit was in November and theres no people supporting it on patreon (yet)
It's either really good and practically unknown or somehow terrible in a way thats not already obvious.3 -
So far in my (albeit short) career, I struggle to find people who know what polymorphism is, and how to use it. SOLID is a big unknown too.

Ensure that extension=php_oci8_11g.dll is inside php.ini ---> check

This is my understanding of "Machine Learning" in general
There are two sets of data:
1. In first data set, all the properties are known
2. In the second set, some properties are not known.
The goal of the machine learning is to find the value of the unknown properties of the second data set.
We do this by finding (or training) a suitable machine learning model (mathematical, logical or any combination of), that in the first data set, computes the value of the properties, which are unknown in second data set, with minimum error since we already know the real value of those properties.
Now, use this model to predict the unknown properties from the second data set.3 -

Am I the only one bothered by the way devRant ( and to be fair also Twitter) previews images?
It just kinda crops some unknown up front amount of edges. It's annoying in and of itself, but also directs viewer focus to some arbitrary part of the picture, and you can't unsee it even after opening the whole thing...
Is there really no better way to handle the issue of size? How can that be a good UX ??1 -

Take a computer, any computer. Remove all the useful shit that makes the operating system actually work and rewrite all the prompts in simple English. Just for fun, give it the complete inability to perform everyday tasks that a child could use an Etch-a-Sketch for. Put all the useful settings/options in the background and make updates look like they're going to install up until the last minute until they error with "Unknown" as the only reason. Now interface it with your cobbled-together backend system and REQUIRE it to communicate with that system for EVERY task.
Then paint it silver.
There. Now you have a Mac.

I'm wondering if recruiters are just as irritating everywhere or that this is just the shitty situation we have in the Netherlands.
I was once called by an unknown number and heard a typical recruiter story. Since i never heard of or spoke to this person i kindly asked where he'd get my information from. Since mr, Recruiter didn't answer and just kept selling his great position i hung up.
He called back.
I picked up the phone again and he told me there were connection issues. I once again asked where he found my number. And again he just acted like he didnt hear me and sells his great position.
Hangs up and blocks the number. Go f(...) yourself damn recruiter!7 -
I was just wondering why the flying fuck OxyPlot was rendering an unknown node on my chart for monday when I only queued my sql db for a single Tuesday.
Noticed it was an auto generated node, which had the right time, status, everything.
I looked up my code and found out that the date somehow bugged out, and if c# isn't sure what to do with an empty date it initializes a date on 1.1.0001
And what do you know. Appearantly thats a Monday.
I broke my head way harder over this than I should have, assuming the worst possible bugs in the render engine. fml -

Guys,
I'm looking for a (second) VPS provider and stumbled upon one called SSDNodes. They have a 8GB RAM offer for $120/yr. Which sounds far better than the popular choices like DigitalOcean, Vultr, etc.
But the only reviews I can find about them are from their blog or some unknown websites.
Has anyone used them or heard about them? Also, any alternative suggestions? I'm going to be using it for Docker powered personal web projects. Not expecting a lot of users.6 -
I fucking hate it when professional rivalry affects the students. I am a student and for some unknown fukin reasons there is some kind of professional rivalry in the higher ends of my college. The effect of this is unwanted criticism and loads of pressure on us, the students, to outperform the students belonging to the other part (of the rivalry). What the fuck.
If you are in such a field, make sure that your rivalry with someone else does not affect the ones who seek knowledge and learning. It is not right to harass and exploit people who respect you and come to you for learning. It not only affects you but also whole lot of people who look forward for some kind of professional behaviour from you. Keep rivalry away from students. Work for what is necessary and get the things done. It is as simple.4 -

Good old dear me sitting comfortably and writing some code...
Suddenly, the doorbell rings!!!
"One moment! Coming!", I shout...
I proceed going to the hall, take the keys from the table right next to me and I unlock the door...
I open it and there's only thin air in front me. Downstairs I hear the building door closing and the elevator working its way up, higher than my floor...
I close the door and I go back to my desk, resuming my work and thinking:
"I don't know who are, I don't care who you are, but I will find you and I will make you pay..."
Now my coding train of thought has stopped! Thanks, unknown doorbell ringer!!! -

I always find reading small configuration files way more difficult than reading a big codebase.
I accept config files do really help in writing a better flexible code and separating the logic and settings but always offer a stiff learning curve.
And often, people make changes in config either unintentionally or with half knowledge which works in local but later blows up the entire system.
Wondering how config files can be presented in a way that the learning curve is minimal and the understandability of its impact is more visible.
I do really like annotations or decorators which provides a closer visibility between config and code. -

There was a problem in my enterprise last week that I couldn't repair because it was my school time. So, for a week, the person in charge of deliveries couldn't import directly the adresses because the csv generated by the site had an error. I came back this morning and managed to correct the error.
In fact, the whole csv was generated in PHP, with code like:
$txt .= $code.";";
But for an unknown reason at the generation, the csv decides to crop 5 characters at the end of the documents, so the last semicolon and the country code were absent. So I had to add a string at the end of the document ("dgdgdgdgd") so it crops useless characters.
I really hate when I don't understand.2 -

My team is the meme of the coding dinosaurs.... they think git basics like working in a branch and doing pr's and not commit directly to master is a "theory", they use old and unknown shit for everything and even when said shit has a better way of doing something they just choose the worst one. At the moment they have me changing all the files in multiple apps from tab indentation to spaces because this generates a code coverage issue on sonar instead of just deactivating that check... why the fuck did I take this job whyyyyyy2

At work we develop for embedded systems. Using the heap can raise unknown effects sometimes. So we always try to avoid using it. To show our attitude regarding the heap we want to make T-Shirts like the No Ma'am shirts from Married... with Children but with No Heap instead of No Ma'am. Now we need a meaning of the acronym. Our currently idea is:
Nerdy
Opponents of
HEAP
E
Allocation
Practice
We do not find a good word for the E, we also aren't native speaker, thus we are not sure which synonym for word like based can be used in such context. So i want to ask if someone has a good idea or even a better idea for the whole acronym :)3 -

At many phases of life, i had 3 choices : the difficult one , the average one and the wrong one.
I questioned the difficult one as it was too pointless to go on with, uncomfortable to follow and stressful to practice. Some guys chose that.
I pulled myself away from the wrong one because my parents always reminded me of the implications. Some guys still chose that
I went on with the average one because it was comfortable and cozy and didn't caused any Unknown chain of reactions. A lot of guys chose that.
The results?
The guys who chose the difficult ones became the pioneers/winners
The guys who chose wrong one became addicts and shame to society
The guys who chose the average one later chose the difficult one and became pioneer/winners
I took the average choice ,and then kept on taking the average choice and is getting the unique designation : "looser"
Must choose the difficult option next time :/14 -
The name of today is Murphy.
So, the LAN at location A can't reach the one at location B. Turns out that something yet unknown is blowing fuses at location A, but after disconnecting a ton of unknowns, the router and a radio link station are up again. Yay Internet, but still no VPN connection to location B.
Needing the passwords for the OpenVPN servers, I notice that encfs4win refuses to mount the drive where the password manager files reside. Of course, any problem must have the company of other problems. Eventually, the encfs drive mounts on another computer.
So, I can access the OpenVPN computer running the client side and check the logs, which tell me that network B is unreachable.
Both networks and an encfs setup all die at the same time? Right, Murphy, what are you going to come up with next? No, don't tell me because I just got read errors from a hard drive. -

In the darkest dankest parts of the code, I have discovered a way to get the tag UNDEFINED to show up in this rant. They call things that are unknown a black box. But you see, if you have a good enough shot gun, you can begin to blow enough holes through the box to figure out what's inside. I never said that whatever was inside the box was going to make it out... I just wanna get a good idea of what was inside.4

Hello, devRant.
In high school, 11th grade right now. Looking to apply for a webdev internship. Not really for the pay, more for the experience and having something to put on a résumé I guess.
I have done "webdesign" before, but that's only a static blog (for the curious, Jekyll, https://oxylibrium.me/ until July 30 when the domain expires)
They list... "Integrate front-end services with Bootstrap and jQuery" and similar, and they list skills required as "Website Designing".
Do I apply and see how it turns out? Any last words before your (hopefully friendly) neighbourhood python backend dev leaps to unknown waters?
(First post in a while; age++ happened a while ago but was really busy patching life up to post)
Thanks for your time,

Finally got some time today to cleanup my inbox after three weeks of almost non-stop emergency. Came home from work, sat down in front of my computer and got a call from unknown number. Answered it and it was my ISP telling me that I have virus in my network and was spamming everybody and they cut off my internet. I know they are pretty useless and only kinda semi-IT literate. Took me an hour to convince them restore my connection with blocked port 25. Suricata log of all my traffic shows that nothing in my network communicated to port 25, the only possibilities are managed switch in front of my router I didn't managed to get into yet which should have managing interface on completely different VLAN and their router. Or mess in their system. My guess is their system is a mess. Will see how it works out tommorrow.

Freaking hell!!!

It was nothing about any unknown hell thing a moment before I came to know about it

Huawei published an ad stating their Mate 20 Pro smartphone has been voted phone of the year 2018 in my country.
The only problem is the survey they refer to has been done by a completely unknown mobile news website. That site looks a lot like some DIY blog from 2010 (it even uses FB comments widget), and with 10 post per month it definitely doesn't get much traffic. Talk about integrity...6 -

I'm trying to set up a VPN on Ubuntu that has been provided by CyberGhost.
I'm trying to do it via the VPN menu in Wi-Fi, but whenever I attempt to connect, it either says the service stopped or nothing (checked the logs, it's unknown...)
Anyone had this issue and solved it?
Thanks10 -

How on earth are you supposed to deliver a precise estimate of assignments, when your client wants the assignments estimated in parts, but youre not able to split it into parts because its a chain of assignments, that cant be split, like if one Thing succeeds then its possible to move on to next part? So many unknowns because you have to set time aside for unknown code behavior.. Sigh..1

"As we know,
There are known knowns.
There are things we know we know.
We also know
There are known unknowns.

Props to Apple for having a craptacular purchase system. There are unknown purchases on a person's account I'm looking at. Doesn't say what device it was purchased on, can't even find history of the apps purchased, but a subscription to a service is charged to the account. All of which supposedly isn't supposed to be there.1

Well, for me being a dev or at least a hobby-dev is like reading and writing a book. Each like of code holds a thought as each sentence holds a story. The more you write, the better is the result. It's the feeling that you can do art in multiple ways.
Once you start, you fall down a deep and unknown rabbit hole, yet it's a slow fall, with a lot of obstacles in the way. You'll get bruises. Break something even. In the end you'll die. That doesn't matter though, because what's left after you is the path you chose and it's open for anyone who dares to follow you.
It's like magic. -
Why do people have fucking problem when I just wished you for something
Why the fuck do you want to know how the fuck I came to know
And come on I didn't wish some unknown person for something too personal
I wished a professor for the birth of daughter
Why the fuck would you go on a spree on fucking around and sadden someone who just wanted to wish you
I would from now on discontinue to wish anyone anything and not even try to contact someone unless it's my business to do so
I'd like to be alone from now on
I'm not a people's person15 -
Anyone heard of a an interview process where you apply through a job site and the first interaction back from the company is a coding project?
I've had it a few times where I'm told there will be a coding project or there has been later in the process, but I've never had it as the immediate first step.
Why would an unknown small startup think that someone would spend a couple of hours effectively working for them without having the slightest idea about the company and culture. An application is usually classed as an expression of interest and a discussion into the wider detail is then usually had with some HR or recruiter representative (or at least that's my experience in the UK)6 -

ok hear me out: client side targeted advertising. no unknown data is stored on some server somewhere without you knowing. you just add topics you like to an array and it's sent with each ad request.

I'm developing an app for a client, but they are responsible for the APIs.
Which turns out is the biggest mistake of my life...
I don't know whether data types are unknown to them or they are just playing a sick game with my emotions.
They have a different data type depending on how they feel, e.g.
- a boolean can be true, false, 0,1 or 2...
- an array can be an array or just a single item...
Who in their right mind can do this?4 -
maybe u can help me..
If i send "mp3" through my created app it is always a "unknown file"
maan im try and failing like 12 h now.. nothin to find on google or stackoverflow about exactly that problem.
The file also is named then for example as xyz instead of xyz.mp3
And via WhatsApp it only sends an "unnamed document"
wtf man im out of solutions. if you want i could post code8 -
I had a splash of inspiration. I would like to develop a method for analyzing unknown bitstreams of data. The method would involve determining the format of the data by trial and error machine learning algorithms. This would allow determining data types and byte formats and meanings of streams of data. Could be useful in data forensics. I would call the method: heuristic translation machine learning. I am currently developing code that does this. It will be fun to learn about reinforcement algorithms.5

I thought that last one was a nice touch!1 -

So i am creating a native app for a WordPress based website. WordPress being 'WordPress' has a very vague rest api documentation , and at the same time i am very new to the world of making internet based appsm so the combination of 2 has been terrible so far. Need some guidelines on :
1. How to do registration/login with WordPress apis, and which are those?
2. How to do it correctly in Android? Do we store user login passwords in offline db? Dow we use header based requests(that's just an unknown-to-me word i heard on the internet) dowe use jwts( another unknown) ?
3. Any other community that i could join tonpost WordPress related queries1 -
I would end up on top of any other trend thing needed by humanity.
Possible outcomes:
- building better AI's, building better robots
- neural networking
- quantum computing
- robot dating service
- artificial life
- holodeck design and construction
- free energy (any kind)
- running a private space shipyard
- research into new and unknown technology
And last, if nothing works, I would open up a deli on Mars. The robots would make the food anyway, I would probably only program the menu and fix them when they malfunction. -
Permissions service that allows users completely unknown to the system full access.
If you happen to be a known user, but just happen to hate being restricted, just remove the connection configuration on the client side, you get full permissions anyway. -
Yesterday I had about 50 messages come through my site's contact form, all with random (but real-looking) email addresses, but no message content. When I looked at the web stats for that day I had a big spike of about 50 visits (it's a small site) from an unknown location.
Does anyone know why someone would do this?3 -
What do you guys think about the comma expression in JavaScript? I'm aware that due to it's (to some) unknown nature that it can lead to subtle bugs, but I have at least one good use case for it and wanted to hear reasons why I shouldn't use it for similar use cases, but also what would be some other cool (not necessarily "good") use cases :D10

This isn't exactly stack over flow, but I started learning C today in the hopes of getting a better understanding for system programming.
the question is as follows
Write a program that reads the content of a file, and prints out all unique words from the file and their number of occurrences. [10 pts]
i.e:
[input]
file.txt
Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book.
[output]
{'Lorem': 1, 'Ipsum': 1, 'has': 1, 'been': 1, 'the': 2, "industry's": 1, 'standard': 1, 'dummy': 1, 'text': 1, 'ever': 1, 'since': 1, '1500s,': 1, 'when': 1, 'an': 1, 'unknown': 1, 'printer': 1, 'took': 1, 'a': 2, 'galley': 1, 'of': 1, 'type': 2, 'and': 1, 'scrambled': 1, 'it': 1, 'to': 1, 'make': 1, 'specimen': 1, 'book.': 1}
Note: Your program should use fork() to read the file into sub parts and combine the contents together for processing. You can create as many forks as you want as long as you have more than one process.
my code is as follows and, I want to to call the function using fork(), any ideas on where I can start, I have already tried and i keep getting the code run multiple times12 -

Hi,
looking for a bit of help.
Has anyone a recommended tutorial / introduction to .NET development, TFS and Visual Studio?
And - for later - a good reference for the datatypes / advanced topics / build system?
I'm starting to work on a Windows only DLL plugin and quite frankly - I'm lost.
TFS and Visual Studio is new to me and feels awkward...
And thx to experience I can understand most parts of code but the build system is unknown to me.
And a lot of the data types .NET has ...
Thanks in advance!4 -

TypeScript is bullshit. Change My Mind:
I am a student and I started learning typescript as an advanced project at the recommendation of my teachers because I am a bit ahead of where my software development course is.
I started by testing the logic of types, and then I encountered type: unknown.
According to the TS handbook:
"If you have a variable with an unknown type, you can narrow it to something more specific by doing typeof checks, comparison checks, or more advanced type guards that will be discussed in a later chapter:"
So according to what this says, if you check a variable of type unknown, to equal a certain object type, typescript will allow you to assign that unknown value a I tested this out with a data type - objects and typescript freaks out.
Also, if create object with a property assigned to a function, it won't even show you that property when you console.log the object
ALSO, you can't post urls in this website, so this website is also pretty trash.12 -
Recently had trouble with some SQL. My tests would not pass, so I had to manually run it to debug it.
SELECT * FROM a JOIN b ON [...] WHERE b.foo NOTNULL
Yielded 0 of 3 rows. Expected 1
Tried querying WHERE b.foo ISNULL instead. Would have expected 2 of 3 rows, but got 1.
After googling i discovered that comparing with NULL does not return a true/false binary description, but may also return unknown if the type is not a NULL type, e.g. 42 ISNULL =" UNKNOWN

English:
"I'm a liar."
Supposing I tell the truth, I'm not a liar. But that would mean that I am a liar, since I said that I am a liar.
Assuming I did not tell the truth, I would be a liar. But since I said the truth, I would not be a liar.
If one starts from the classical logic, one can make no logical statement. If one starts from the three-valued logic, I would say that "unknown" (u, ½
Is that true, what do you mean?
Stimmt das, was meinst du?
